Big Brother Canada to have FREE 24 hour live feeds

A press release from Shaw Media this morning confirmed what we all were hoping for. Below is a copy of the press release. The important part is Bigbrothercanada.ca will offer a free 24 hour live feed available for streaming daily following the series premiere on February 27th

Canadian fans have the chance to: eavesdrop on the houseguests 24 hours a day, vote on twists and turns, engage with the houseguests and play the Big Brother Canada Power Play game for points, prizes and power. GUESS WHAT BIG BROTHER FANS!

CBS has just released its summer 2013 line up earlier than usual and there is a huge change to the premiere date for Big Brother 15! The 15th season of Big Brother will air its premiere episode on Wednesday, June 26th, 2013 at 9pm on CBS.
CBS stated that:

“Big Brother will have a longer edition this summer, premiering two weeks earlier.”

This early of a premiere date has never been done before as all of the past seasons have started in the first and second week of July. With the premiere date happening approximately 2 weeks earlier than usual it appears as though we are in store for the longest season of Big Brother ever! This could translate into having even more house guests than ever or a new twist that requires additional time to play out. Big Brother Canada Commercial – Best Strategy EVER!

The Big Brother Chilltown reality stars Mike “Boogie” Malin and Dr. Will Kirby are featured in another Big Brother Canada commercial. In this just released commercial, Mike and Will discuss Big Brother strategies and which strategy is the best ever.

Dr. Will Kirby: “As former Big Brother winners.. I feel like we have a duty to …we have an obligation to give the Big Brother Canada house guests some advice on how they can win the show.”
Mike “Boogie” Malin: “I couldn’t agree with you more.”
Dr. Will Kirby: “What do you think is the SINGLE best strategy to win the entire game?”
Mike “Boogie” Malin: “That’s a tough question because there are so many important aspects to the game. Um I think one important thing is that you have to leave your morals/ethics at the door. That sets the stage before you can even get into the strategy and then there’s the social strategy where you just kind of get along with everyone and be the fun person, the kind of person everyone likes. There’s the laid back strategy where you hide in the corner like you’re not even there.

Big Brother Canada is set to air its premiere episode on February 27, 2013 and with that date fast approaching new information is slowly being released. In the first couple Big Brother Canada promotional commercials the producers were building the hype for the new reality series to come to Canada. The commercials stated that 10,000 auditioned and only 14 will make the cut for the biggest show in Canadian history with the biggest competitions, biggest evictions, and the biggest betrayals. The next commercial featured Chilltown members Mike “Boogie” Malin and Dr. Will Kirby making fun of how Big Brother Canada will air during the winter and the house guests are going to freeze their tails off.

Get ready Big Brother Fans – Big Brother Canada Premières in 2 months on February 27, 2013! Recently unveiled is that Big Brother Canada will not only have the three scheduled TV episodes per week and Big Brother After Dark seven days a week, but will ALSO have LIVE STREAMING & social engagement!

“Fans of Big Brother Canada will be able to connect with the series outside of the 3-day-a-week broadcast through a myriad of digital extensions including live streaming and social engagement opportunities that allow online users to impact decisions in the house.”

It is still unclear what the full extent of the Big Brother Canada live feeds will be and whether or not they will be 24/7 throughout the season but it looks promising.

With the Big Brother Canada premiere date of February 27th fast approaching more and more information will be released as we get closer. As you can see from the photo below that was released of the diary room as well as all the other construction photos, the construction of the new house that is being built on a production set in Toronto is well underway. The First batch of Big Brother Canada Commercial aired today during the Survivor Finale. One showed casting events and said only 14 will Make the cut. The Commercial boasts Big Brother Canada will be “The Biggest Show in Canadian History” with the “Biggest Competitions”, “Biggest Evictions” and “The Biggest Betrayals”.. The the other commercial has Boogie and Dr Will doing their “Ring Ring” …. “Chill town” … “Hosers EH!” Thing.

FIRST LOOK Inside The Big Brother Canada House!

The premiere of the first season of Big Brother Canada is just around the corner with a tentative date set for February 18th, 2013. With the completion of the BB Canada casting calls the only other major item to finish is the house in which the house guests will live. Construction of the Big Brother Canada house has begun in a Mississauga, Ontario studio and we are now getting the very FIRST LOOK inside the house that 14 strangers will compete to win the $100,000 grand prize. Below is the video of Entertainment Tonight (ET) Canada giving us the first glimpse of the BB house and the progress of the construction. Much like the US version, the Big Brother Canada house is being built on set. The house guests will have an indoor backyard that will simulate the times of day through a “soft box” that will cast light and shadows to mimic the sun. I believe it will make the house guests time inside the house that much harder without fresh air ability to lay out and suntan but with a February start date the Ontario weather would still be too cold for that any ways.

Casting for Big Brother Canada began on August 1st, 2012, where reality TV hopefuls were able to submit their audition video online. Today marked the first day for the in-person casting call auditions where the first stop in the cross Canada casting process was held at the Vancouver Convention Centre.
The Big Brother Canada casting directors are looking to hand pick individuals to create a diverse cast, much like cast we have seen on the 14 seasons the US edition of Big Brother.

What the casting directors are looking for:

Big Brother Canada is in search of extroverts, conformists, risk takers, adventurers, romantics, leaders, plotters and planners, and those who don’t mind a little healthy competition. Big Brother 14 finally comes to a end. It was a great season with some of the better Players we’ve seen in a while. Ian Terry finally defeats the DAn Gheesling and the fabled Dan “Mist” is gone. The Vote was a shocking 6-1 with Danielle being the only vote for Dan. The image above was taken from the superpass interviews where Danielle was told Dan said said to Shane right before Shane left that Danielle was playing him from the beginning. It’s sad to say that for the most part these interviews are filled with fluff and really do not get to some core questions. We’ll need to wait for Evel Dick’s interviews for that.

Final 3 Results DAN Vs. IAN Vs. DANIELLE
The final three Big Brother 14 house guests have battled their way through the game over the last 75 days to make it to the Finale. Each of the final three used a different strategy to make it to the end. Dan is described as the controversial coach, Danielle the naughty nurse and Ian the boy genius. Tonight one of these three will be crowned the winner of Big Brother 14!

Final HOH Competition:

PART 1 of 3: Dan, Ian and Danielle faced off in the Fishing lure Endurance Competition. Dan won.
PART 2 of 3: Ian and Danielle faced off in the skyscraper competition. Ian won.
PART 3 of 3: Dan and Ian now face off for the 3rd part in the final competition of the season. The winner of this HOH competition ultimately gets to decide who they want to take to the final 2 with them.
