Another nail biter of a week…

This is what happens when you have a super strong alliance that holds the power for weeks. Fear not sooner or later that alliance will blow up only two people can make it to the end. Something will happen to shake up the house it always does after all, this season is supposed to be the full of twist after twisted twist and we haven’t seen many twists so far.

Last Thursday Devin was evicted from the Big Brother house by a vote of 11-0. He says he’s excited to see his daughter as he exits the house.

BOB Results “That was a weird one I’ve never ever seen that one before”

  • Cody and Frankie won HOH
  • Second place went to Jocasta and Brittany (Brittany wants to make sure everyone knows this I’m just passing it along)
  • The detonators are targeting either Jocasta or Brittany a distant 3rd target is Donny
  • Frankie nominated Amber and Jocasta
  • Cody Nominated Brittany and Victoria
  • The winners of the Battle on the Block are not nominated for eviction and have safety from goign up as a renomination. The HOH that nominated the Winning Team is dethroned and is now at risk to being nominated.
  • Jocasta has been proven to be Competition poison whereas Brittany and Victoria both have BON wins.

Derrick tells Caleb to not tell anyone he threw the competition for you it makes him look like he’s looking for sympathy. Plus people will say he cannot be trusted if he’s throwing competitions. Derrick telling Cody he’ll pick him if he gets houseguest choice
Derrick “Christine is going to take us far in this game plus she’s a peach”
Derrick hopes one of them “Beasts” wins the HOH next week he will be “Tickled pink”

Battle of the Block Competition Results! Zach asks “Why the f**k would we keep Pow?!”

5am – 6:30am Big Brother blocks the live feeds for the Battle of the Block competition to take place. The Battle of the Block competition was between Devins Nominations Pow Pow & Brittany against Ambers nominations Hayden & Nicole. When the live feeds return we learn that Amber’s nominees – HAYDEN & NICOLE won the competition. Which means they are no longer nominated and Amber is no longer Head of Household. Hayden & Nicole are safe from being nominated as a replacement should the power of veto be used, however as Amber is no longer HOH she is could be nominated as a replacement nominee.

Going to start by saying this is a great cast, there are a lot of interesting people in the Big Brother 16 House. More importantly there isn’t a single personality that overpowers everyone else. We’re actually able to see a multi dimensional game not just the same two people running the show from the same bed. With that said it’s been a bit quiet for the first week, the polar opposite of BB14 which is known as having the most explosive first week. This can only mean one thing… grenades are coming.  (I’m expecting big things this year).
