With the caveat as expressed when he said it: why is it that the east asian and south asian houseguests are never considered person of color when that comment is made in every season… and why is it that the person who says it is also targeting the asian houseguest? The answer to your question is obvious, but you don’t want to say it because you’re being politically correct, so I’ll say it for you. When they say “people of color” they don’t mean all people of color, they mean a BLACK person! Surely you recognize when they form these alliances with only black people in them, or even when they have people of other races in their alliances, but only talk about a “person of color” winning, that means the other black people in that alliance.
Have you forgotten how long it took for some of the Cookout members to accept Hannah and Kyland as full members of the alliance, because they were “mixed” ethnicity? At that time they wanted to ensure a full black person won the season, so Azah and Derek F. both were particularly sensitive to the fact those two weren’t “fully black”.
If they have problems accepting people like Hannah and Kyland, why would they look at people like Zach and say “Oh yeah, he’s just like me!”?

I understand standing with your friends and working with people you trust, but when you continuously talk about the primary reason for doing so being the color of your skin, it just sounds like racial bias to me. It sounds like that when black people do it, just like it sounds like that when white people do it. All it does is bring the outside world’s problems into the game, and I personally just wish they wouldn’t do that. How the heck can they eviscerate somebody like Kyle for merely suggesting a race based alliance was being formed (it was talked about that season but never quite got done, and lo and behold, look who won anyway), and suggesting they do something about it in defense of it?
If production were as quick to police the race based alliance talk, as they were the “n word” and “r word” talk, and other things of that nature, maybe we wouldn’t have to worry about who is what color and what shade of that color they are going forward. That’s all I’m saying.
Taylor win seemed forced by production. Those talks of Terrence wanting to represent seemed a legitimate thing with the casemates that season. More so especially with monte telling Taylor I will accept that lose of taking you to the final 2 to give a black woman the first win.
I have not forgotten anything about the only half member status of Kyland and Hannah. I brought it up a million times that season as being ridic.

Followed by the black alliance that called themselves the black alliance floating a false rumor that a contestant was racist in order to justify targeting her. This is from my bbcan and bbus feed watching combined.

I do not think they can hear Julie when they are in the living area. In seasons past Julie was holding a remote which I believe activated a two way camera in the DR so that the HGs could see her. I don’t see her holding the remote any more so I think production does the activation now. In the past HGs have mentioned being able to hear the audience cheering and clapping which audience members have said they are told to stop doing sometimes. Way back in BB11 after Jeff did the coup d’etat they showed the drama happening from that. Someone from production comes over a speaker & calls each person to the DR for their vote. I’m going to assume that is still done. I would also assume that shortly before eviction night begins they are instructed what will happen & what to do for voting & possibly warned about time and time limits. Since no one ever does, I’m also assuming they’re not allowed to talk while they’re sitting on the sofas. The show is live and they have to keep on schedule, but I also remember once Julie having to step in after final pleas, I think in BB15(?) when Candace and Gina Marie were arguing.

He has no ability to self reflect. I’m not sure it would make a difference, but its food for thought and he has lots of time now, lol.
In the episode he did say he was loyal but also had to ensure his safety with the rest of the house. He doesn’t seem to realize that by doing that, he is breaching some trust unless he communicates about his plus relationships.

spouting nonsense about it being rigged and pre-scripted. like there totally is production interference and for a variety of reasons production seemed to want to get out jimmy and protect vince this week but they generally just vaguely back more interesting players while trying to trim the less interesting ones. some players are more savvy than others about determining what production wants and manipulating that for screentime and/or furthering their own game, but mostly if you’re good at the game and social you go further in the game and get featured more, and if you’re bad at the game and keep to yourself, you get featured less and are more likely to be voted out. it’s not a big conspiracy, it’s just the basics of the game.

yeah, i always wonder about this. sometimes i can understand based on the edit and there are fans that love any showmance (which explains rachel’s support). but yeah, there’s a lot of times i’m just scratching my head. taylor remains a big one for me. i get that people didn’t like her getting bullied but she’s just so phony and has just a warped perception of her social and athletic abilities that i really find her painful to watch.
