Who won Big Brother 27?
Ashley won Big Brother 27, beating Vince 6–1 in the jury vote on September 28, 2025. Only Morgan voted for Vince; Rachel, Will, Kelley, Lauren, Keanu and Ava all voted Ashley.
She got there the hard way and the quiet way at once. Ashley won the season’s opening veto and then almost nothing for two months, surviving on relationships while the competition winners around her collected targets. At final three she won the last two parts of the final HOH, evicted Morgan — her closest ally — and sat beside the player the jury had decided they didn’t want to reward. Vince finished with a season-high four HOH wins and one jury vote.
Who was in the Big Brother 27 cast?
Seventeen houseguests played BB27: sixteen new players, plus Rachel, returning for her third season after BB12 and her win in BB13. Amy entered as the Mastermind’s secret Accomplice and only became a full houseguest when the house failed to identify her. In finish order:
- 1. Ashley — Won the opening veto, then spent the middle game invisible. Part of the late-game Judges with Morgan and Vince. Won the final HOH, cut Morgan, and beat Vince 6–1.
- 2. Vince — A season-high four HOH wins and working relationships with both Morgan and Lauren. Runner-up on one jury vote. Day 83.
- 3. Morgan — The season’s dominant late-game competitor with five vetoes and two HOHs. Cut by Ashley at final three. Day 83.
- 4. Ava — One HOH, later aligned with Kelley and Lauren. Evicted at final four by Vince’s sole vote. Day 80.
- 5. Keanu — Escaped the block repeatedly: one HOH, three vetoes won personally, two Blockbusters, plus a proxy veto won on his behalf. America’s Favourite Houseguest. Day 77.
- 6. Lauren — Two HOHs, a veto, and the final Blockbuster of the season. Survived the first half of the double eviction and was nominated in the second. Day 73.

- 8. Will — Reached jury without winning an HOH, veto or Blockbuster. Lost a 3–2 vote to Ashley. Day 66.
- 9. Rachel — The only returning player, BB13’s winner. Won one HOH, then became the season’s strangest exit: eliminated by the White Locust maze with no vote cast. Day 60.
- 10. Mickey — Used the HOH Interrogation power to take Rylie’s HOH away from him, won a veto and a Blockbuster, and was the last player cut before jury. Day 59.
- 11. Katherine — Won the veto during Ava’s HOH and chose not to use it. Worked closely with Rylie. Evicted 7–1. Day 52.
- 12. Rylie — Won an HOH competition and lost the HOH itself to Mickey’s power. Later won a Blockbuster, and lost the closest pre-jury vote of the season, 5–4. Day 45.
- 13. Zach — Held the BB Buy-Off, a $10,000 power that could have taken him off the block. Chose not to use it and was evicted 8–2 with the money. Day 38.
- 14. Jimmy — Won the premiere advantage that decided who could play the first HOH, then won the second HOH himself. Backdoored by Mickey a cycle later. Day 31.
- 15. Adrian — Won the second Blockbuster, survived Jimmy’s HOH, then went up as Lauren’s replacement and left 8–4. Day 24.
- 16. Amy — Entered as the Mastermind’s Accomplice and earned her place when the house guessed Rylie instead. Worked closely with Rachel. Evicted unanimously, 13–0. Day 17.
- 17. Zae — An original nominee in Vince’s first HOH. Stayed exposed after Ashley used the veto on herself and Kelley won the Blockbuster. First out, 9–5. Day 10.

What was the twist in Big Brother 27?
The season theme was “A Summer of Mystery.” The house became the Hotel Mystère — reception styling, hidden passages, a Victorian conservatory, an attic Bedroom of Oddities, a poison bar — and the season was framed around a masked antagonist called the Mastermind, who supplied the premiere sabotage, the secret powers, and the accelerated endgame.
The mechanical twists, in the order they mattered:
- BB Blockbuster — the season’s spine. The HOH nominated three, and after the veto all three played a live competition on eviction night; the winner came off the block and the remaining two faced the vote. It ran ten straight cycles, deeper than any season before it, and Julie ended it live on September 18.
- The Accomplice — Amy entered secretly working for the Mastermind. The house had to identify her by majority vote: correct and she was removed, wrong and she became a full houseguest. They chose Rylie. Amy stayed.
- The Mystery Houseguest — Rachel entered on premiere night as the returning player.
- BB Buy-Off — Zach’s $10,000 premiere prize was secretly a power: hand the money to the HOH and force his own removal from the block. He never used it.
- BB Break-In — the second HOH competition also hid three powers. Keanu took the Mystery Competitor, which let him summon BB20’s Kaycee to play a veto on his behalf; Kelley took the Mystery Veto, a private second-chance competition for an extra veto; Mickey took HOH Interrogation, which let her attempt to overthrow a sitting HOH.
- White Locust — the jury phase opened with no nominations, no veto and no vote. Players sent each other into the Mastermind’s Maniacal Maze on a shrinking clock. Rachel drew three and a half minutes, failed, and was eliminated on the spot.
- The Month of Mayhem — the umbrella name for the endgame: White Locust, the September 18 double eviction, and a surprise final-five eviction where the houseguests voted by stabbing a voodoo doll and Keanu left without the usual Julie interview.
Unusually for the modern era, there was no viewer-awarded game power in BB27 — no equivalent to BB26’s AI Instigator or BB28’s Time Capsule. America voted for Unlocked features and the favourite-houseguest prize, and nothing else.
Who won each HOH, veto and eviction?
Every cycle of the season, anchored to its eviction date. Under the Blockbuster, note that three names went on the block and only two faced the vote.
Cycle 1 · July 17 Zae evicted 9–5
Vince, who was one of only four people eligible — Jimmy’s premiere advantage let him pick the field, and he chose himself, Adrian, Ashley and Vince.

Rylie won Killer Carnival — and then lost it. Mickey activated her HOH Interrogation power. Rylie was allowed to interrogate the house and name the usurper; he guessed Ashley. Mickey revealed herself and took the HOH.
Mickey, as the new HOH, nominated Keanu, Kelley and Rylie — putting the man she had just dethroned on the block.

Safe Crackers — Rylie won, saving himself from the block he’d been put on by the woman who took his HOH.

Jumbo Gemstones — Keanu won. It’s the comp people still bring up: Vince and Zach both built their gem stacks from the top down and both collapsed, while Keanu stopped, rebuilt from the bottom, and won.

September 9 · special episode Rachel eliminated. No vote.
No nominations, no veto, no Blockbuster and no house vote. The Mastermind’s White Locust twist ran an immunity chain, then sent players into the Maniacal Maze on a shrinking clock. Rachel went last with three and a half minutes, failed to finish, and was eliminated straight into jury.
The only elimination in the season decided entirely by a competition. Rachel became Juror #1 without a single vote being cast against her.
The maze times fed into the next HOH. Lauren emerged with it.

Part 1 went to Morgan on the endurance — Ashley dropped at 28 minutes and Vince at 53, both to motion sickness. Ashley beat Vince in Part 2, then beat Morgan in Part 3 to take the final HOH.
Ashley evicted Morgan, choosing to sit beside Vince.
Ashley won 6–1. Rachel, Will, Kelley, Lauren, Keanu and Ava voted Ashley. Morgan was Vince’s only vote.

What were the alliances in Big Brother 27?
BB27 was a season of alliances that formed loudly and meant very little — with one exception that reached the end.
- The Judges — Ashley, Morgan and Vince, plus two others. The alliance that actually worked: three of its five members were still standing at the end, and it produced the entire final three. Julie revealed it on air at Mickey’s eviction, and Vince later called it the longest secret he’d kept in the house. Its own members were sceptical it was real when it formed.
- Heavy Hitters — Jimmy, Morgan, Rachel, Rylie, Vince and Zach. An early six that fell apart as its members went out one after another.
- Shoke Smow — Keanu’s early group, a play on “smoke show.” Also referred to on the feeds as the Banana Bros.
- Vince and Kelley — a final two agreed early and shown on the broadcast. Vince voted her out in the double eviction.
The season’s most consequential relationship wasn’t a named alliance at all: Vince and Morgan, whose closeness became the season’s defining storyline on the feeds and cost Vince a jury he could otherwise have won. Morgan was the only juror who voted for him.
What is Big Brother 27 remembered for?
Mickey taking Rylie’s HOH. Rylie won Killer Carnival fairly and lost the title anyway. Mickey activated her HOH Interrogation power, Rylie was given a chance to identify the usurper and guessed Ashley, and Mickey stepped forward to claim the HOH. She then nominated him. He won the Blockbuster to save himself, and left three cycles later.
Rachel eliminated without a vote. Nine seasons after she won BB13, Rachel’s third run ended in a maze on a three-and-a-half minute clock. No nominations, no veto, no eviction night — the White Locust twist simply removed her. It’s the only exit of its kind in the season and one of very few in the show’s history.
Zach’s $10,000. He won the premiere competition, was privately told the money was a power that could pull him off the block, and sat on the block anyway. He was evicted 8–2 with the cash in his pocket. He only told Morgan why during his final week: he didn’t use it because he thought she’d go up in his place.
The last Blockbuster. Lauren won it on September 18, and Julie ended the twist on air minutes later. The double eviction’s second half reverted to two nominees for the first time in the season — and Lauren, who had just saved herself, was nominated again and evicted within the hour.
Vince and the order. He lost the final HOH’s second part on a misread instruction and knew it immediately. “Order order order means 1 2 and 3 … not day.” Ashley re-read the card. He didn’t. That single misreading is the difference between the runner-up and the winner of Big Brother 27.
