Who was in the Big Brother Canada 11 cast?
Sixteen houseguests moved in. Three left on their own. In finishing order:
- 1st — Ty. Two Heads of Household, the Fatal Feast safety competition, and most of the late-season vetoes. Won 8–1.
- 2nd — Claudia. Two Heads of Household and Parts 1 and 3 of the final HOH. Chose to sit next to Ty.
- 3rd — Daniel. Won the secret veto in Whodunnit week. Cut at the final three.
- 4th — Anika. HOH in cycle 9, where her tiebreak sent Renee home. Out 1–0 at the final four.
- 5th — Renee. HOH on double eviction night. Out on Anika’s tiebreak.
- 6th — Shanaya. Out 2–1 on double eviction night. The only juror to vote for Claudia.
- 7th — Kuzie. Two Heads of Household. Out 3–1 in the first half of the double eviction.

Did Big Brother Canada 11 have live feeds?
No. It was the first season of Big Brother Canada without them. The show replaced the feeds with Digital Dailies, which it described as “uncut content from inside the BBCAN house, offering viewers an extended peek into the houseguests’ lives”, posted on the show’s website instead of streamed live. OBB set out its view of the change in the same post.
What were the twists in Big Brother Canada 11?
- Lettergate: Hope got hold of a letter from home and shared it. He was penalised with the loss of his vote and his eligibility for the next HOH, and every other houseguest was then given a letter to even things up. Zach, the replacement nominee that week, walked out rather than face the vote, and nobody was evicted.
- Whodunnit week: an invisible Head of Household, Santina, and a secret veto, won by Daniel. Houseguests bet up to $50,000 on guessing who the HOH was.
- Fatal Feast: a safety competition followed by an instant eviction with no time to campaign. Ty won safety and Santina went out 6–0.
- Canada’s vote: viewers saved Kuzie from nomination one week and Santina the next.

What is Big Brother Canada 11 remembered for?
For the end of the live feeds, and for a first month that nearly ran out of houseguests: Amal on Day 3, Vanessa on Day 22, Zach on Day 26, and Lettergate in between. The game settled into Ty’s hands after that. In cycle 9 he used his veto to pull Claudia off the block, and she took him to the final two, where he won every vote but one.
