Big Brother 28 Week 11 in Review: Drew Holds the Last Vote

Seven houseguests started the week and four are left. The double eviction took Barrett and Yash, Devens broke a 1–1 tie to send Melody to the jury on Monday, and Taylor won the final four Head of Household. Drew won the last veto, so tonight he casts the only vote, and his options are Dee and Devens. Plus the Wall: Devens had his best week since July, and Drew passed Dee for the first time since early September.

Big Brother 28 Week 10 in Review: The Week the Newbies Ate Themselves

Tonight is a double eviction — seven houseguests become five. Yash won his first Head of Household and used it to nominate three of his own side. Drew answered by standing in the Pressure Cooker for fourteen hours and nineteen minutes, cutting a deal at two in the morning to win it, and leaving Taylor in the seat he vacated. By midweek Barrett was asking the two Icons he nominated last Friday to keep him, and being told the doors weren’t closed — which is not the same as being told yes. Plus the Wall’s cleanest result of the season: every Icon up, every newbie down, seven for seven.

“Were you guys arguing at the end?.. Yeah, I knew you were s–t-talking. BUT.. “

Drew won the Pressure Cooker at 2:47 AM after a record fourteen hours and nineteen minutes, and by 10:43 he’s on the backyard couch running the post-mortem with Devens and Dee — the shoe-squeaking, the fake deals, the heckling, the moment he wasn’t sure he’d actually won. Devens brings news of his own: Taylor was annoyed they woke her to watch, and told him flatly she wanted Yash to take it. The one thing Drew never mentions is the deal he cut inside that box.

Big Brother 28 Spoilers: Dee and Devens Both Draw Into the Pressure Cooker Veto – Taylor Hosts?

Saturday morning and the veto draw has gone the Icons’ way: Devens tells Dee “we’re both playing in a veto,” which puts Yash’s two bribe partners in the Pressure Cooker alongside all three nominees — and leaves Taylor as the only one not competing. The pair spend the morning war-gaming prizes and punishments, wishing for a guest host, and admitting the season has produced nothing so far but a Paw Patrol puzzle. Dee also explains the balcony.

Taylor: “Barrett and Drew, they’re the best competitors. So more likely to win the veto and they can only take themselves down.”

Yash spends Friday afternoon working out how to put an Icon on the block without breaking his deal — and says out loud, on the feeds, that the deal exists. Taylor argues him off Drew and Melody and onto Barrett and Drew, then builds him the cover story for it. Upstairs, Barrett calls Drew’s move a betrayal after seventy days. Downstairs, Drew and Devens spend an hour being friends.

Melody on Drew: “How Many Times Do You Have to Learn Your F—ing Lesson?”

Taylor spent the overnight telling Melody what Drew did: the same night the five newbies shook on a ceasefire, he went downstairs and asked Dee and Angela to put her on the block, promising his vote to send her home. It reached her through Angela. Yash got the same treatment a day later. Meanwhile Yash is Head of Household with Taylor writing his nomination speech, Barrett and Melody are convinced one of them is next, and Devens and Dee ended their dish strike.
