8:20pm – 8:48pm HOH – Jimmy and Mickey
Jimmy – I heard you wanted to have a serious conversation, so I put on my serious conversation hat. If you were to win HOH next week. Come on, its Kelley, Keanu and somebody else. Who would be your third nominee? Mickey – probably Katherine or Lauren. Don’t tell anyone I said that. Jimmy discusses how his options for the replacement are Amy or Will. If I put him up, I want him to go home. Mickey – Unfortunately I wouldn’t do that though, it would make you look really bad. One its the week of his anniversary and two he just got hurt. I feel like we could use Amy. Jimmy – we can’t play that version of the game where it was somebody’s birthday this week. So we can’t send them home. Mickey – No, I mean, you’re right. You’re true. I think that’s maybe in the empath. I hear that. And I love that. Jimmy – We had that moment. Mickey – I agree. Jimmy – And I think if we honor those moments, that’s what matters. Mickey – I agree. Jimmy – That can’t be the reason somebody doesn’t go home because everyone’s gonna have something. You know, the anniversary of your mom dying or it’s your birthday or it’s your anniversary or it’s your grandson’s nephew’s cousin’s wedding. Mickey – Right. Jimmy – And we if we play that game, nobody’s going home. But for me, I do think he’ll have gun for me if I put him up. So he needs to go home if I have to put him up. I think it’s up to you, me, Morgan and effectively Rachel to determine how we want to marshall the votes to get somebody home. And I think between the two, Amy’s not coming for us because we’re her numbers, but Will would. So things Will goes up. He’ll be on the block on eviction night and I think he needs to go home. And I think we all want to take him out before jury anyway. So I’m trying to figure out how to make my HOH useful. If we can get Will out the door and flush two of the three powers this week. I would feel good about my HOH. I think if we align with the people that voted last week, we control the vote again. Mickey – just giving you my heads up now, I would have to vote for him to stay. What would that do for us? Jimmy – I mean I don’t care. Lauren joins them. Katherine finishes her shower and also joins them. They go over the names of the comps so far and recount the items/pictures in the house.
Lounge room – Morgan, Rachel and Mickey
Morgan is being emotional. Rachel – why do you feel like you can’t be vulnerable with us? Morgan – no its not with you guys. I feel great around you guys. I feel closest with you. I obviously miss my family. I’m just overwhelmed. Rachel – I guarantee you’re going to cry 1000 more times. Why do you feel like you can’t be a human in a game. Morgan – I don’t know. Rachel – we’re all going to have these moments and the less people that are here, the harder it gets. Morgan – its just a lot you know. Its such an interesting game. I think its also hard because I’ve been an athlete my whole life so its like I’ve never accepted to not do my best.
9:40pm HOH room – Jimmy, Katherine, Lauren and Ashley
Jimmy – I told you all to get your noms together before your HOH. Because it does not matter what the f**k people say to you, because they’re going to say whatever they can because there’s somebody else under the bus or to lie to you. If I listen to people this week, my noms would have freaking been Riley, Will, Lauren. What good does that do me? You know, that’s why you don’t f**king listen to people anyway. Sorry to like rant off about that. But people are shady as f**k when you’re HOH. So of course, word to the wise. Figure it out before you get in this room because once you get in this room, people lie to you. They throw everyone under the bus. And then it confuses you, right? And then it creates a game of telephone. Its a tough week but I do think I am making whoever wins life easier next week.
9:50pm Lounge Room – Rachel, Morgan and Mickey
Morgan – Did he tell you about Kelly’s power? Rachel – She has to win it. Morgan – Yeah. So remember that. Did you watch the season it was with? It was Kaycee’s season. Rachel – yeah. Morgan – Where Caitlin had to like solve the puzzle before. That’s what she has to do. And if she gets it, she gets the veto. And if she doesn’t, she doesn’t get the veto. So best case scenario, she f**ks up and we can send her home.
10:45pm Backyard – Big Brother has opened up the backyard.
11:45pm – 11:57pm Hot Tub – Rachel, Amy, Ashely and Will
They’re talking about how Jimmy is planning to nominate Amy and Will if he has to nominate two replacements. Ashley – What you need to do is go up and pretend you don’t know. Will – why would you, this is when you get a quote unquote big target. This is the Mickey’s and the Morgans. But you’re going to say Amy or me bro? Rachel – if we can’t have a power and we don’t have a power, and we don’t have HOH and we don’t have the veto… there is sadly nothing we can do. They all laugh. Will – I am going to pray for wisdom tonight because right now I don’t have any. Amy – this is just a crappy position. You know its a crappy position to be in. Will – its is, its what we signed up for. Its the game. Amy – yeah its the game. I thought I would be a better big brother player. Rachel – well you’re not out yet. Rachel – you aligned with me. Amy – I know, that’s the first problem. Amy laughs. Amy – I love you. I wouldn’t change a thing. Rachel – I hope not. Amy – I swear on my life.

How do you solve a problem like Morgan?
Last week she had no less than three crying jags about being called a snake.
She is 100% safe this week. Is she happy and planning ahead for next week to secure her position and secure future safetly while she has safety THIS week?
No… she’d crying now about being a target next week.
For me… it’s a lot. Too much a lot.
Oh no, Keanu or Kelley might target her? Does she build those relationships?
And ANOTHER thing…
bb Women who talk about women strong and women working together… that say their target would be a woman. Now you know why bb SHELLIANCES of more than 3 in number FAIL. You can have the alpha Karen, the beta (wannabe alpha) Becky and the Debbie (the peon that listens to Becky conspire to be alpha, but also gets picked on by the alpha and beta when the three are together). Any more and traditionally in big brother they turn on each other and eat their number advantage. Wait for it.
Conversations today have had no less than three women talk about getting rid of another woman as their target if they win HOH. And I DON”T MEAN KELLEY. And they aren’t targeting Rachel. mmhmm.
i think out of everyone i’m least impressed by morgan’s “strategy.” generally i’m very critical of anyone who tries to avoid winning the first hoh. if you look at how first hohs have done over the course of the show, while there are a few flame outs, first hohs do go on to win the whole show at a relatively high percentage. leveraged correctly (which imo vince didn’t do) it’s great for building alliances and at minimum gets everyone talking to you while you get to give the majority of the house safety. on the flip side, as kelley realized, being a week one nom is awful as no one talks to you because they don’t want to get attached to someone potentially going home.
so morgan’s stance on winning the first hoh was bad, but on top of that is her “we could learn so much from rachel, let’s keep her around.” rachel isn’t there to teach you how to play. she’s there to win. all listening to rachel does is turn you into her pawn. you need to makes moves for yourself not what rachel dictates and it seems morgan too easily wants to fall in line and play a completely unremarkable game.
I thought Some Stars season 22 was the first time a first HOH won the season.
It used to be one of the stats curses.

WRONG.
You don’t go at a guy in a corset and cocktail gloves with logic.

They had a live in maid that cleaned for them, cooked for them, and tried to make them moonshine out of hotdogs (it didn’t work). It was the closest the ants ever came to losing the battle of house supremacy.
So here’s this bish coming in to the house and saying they are messy….. when the dishes and every room and all the laundry her season was cleaned by SAM the whackadoodle.
Take ten laps and go sit in the corner to think about what you’ve done Kaycee.
Jimmy talks a big game, but he’s all bark and no bite when it comes to targeting strong players. It’s annoying. If he’s not going to go after real threats, he should at least put up obvious floaters like the quiet girls who aren’t doing anything.
Leave the hot girls alone.
