Vince goes on about his performance in the veto today and how he had a plan but it didn’t fully work out.
Vince says he doesn’t think Lauren wants to cause in ripples or take any big shots. Me and Zach both were pitching the idea for even will not to be there.
Mickey talks about how they have to to put Keanu up after the veto deny him the chance to play next time. (AKA the backdoor)

Zach – I heard you don’t want to talk game today..
Lauren – I kinda did I just said that to avoid the people that were potential noms. I wanted to decide what to say before I had those conversations.

L – at this point my only options would be Adrian or Ashley. I know what I think I should do what would be smarter but I don’t know what do you think about that. I think I know
Zach says Morgan can’t understand why Lauren put Will up. He tried to explain to her Will refused to talk to Lauren once he found out he might go up and he never talked game with her.
Zach says Morgan will be upset if Lauren goes after Ashley. “She’s also blinded by the fact about the Will situation.. She’s thinking emotionally at that point”
Zach – what I am thinking in terms of their group.. Mickey, Ashley, Morgan, Will.. Jimmy and Rachel
Zach thinks the better move is AShley over Adrian, “They are also annoyed because they think adrian was up there trying to convince you.. essentially they think you made a emotional decision”

L – so, you, Ava, Me, Adrian or Kelley, Ryle, Kat, Vinny and Keanu.. that is 8 and on the other side there’s Ashley, Rachel, Will, Morgan, Mickey, jimmy …
Z – so that’s 6 to 8 right
L – yeah.. that’s not counting either Kelley and Adrian. I would feel like such a piece of sh1t though If I put Adrian up.
Z – people don’t understand you are working with Adrian.
Z – If you send Ashley home there are numbers on our side you should be fine and theirs bigger targets on our side like Kelley and Keanu to where it’s ok to make that move.
L – But let’s just say AShley wins blockbuster. Kelley goes home against Will. She’s Angry at me, which is whatever. I’m scared that the girl side of the house.. Like I become a number one target.
Z – I don’t think you would be a number 1 target.
L – I am so scared of Rachel. If I put Ashley up then I am in the pool for nominations with the other side.
Z – that is a given yeah
L – but if I put Adrian up and one of either Kelley or ADrian goes home. I feel like I might still be in the pool of nominations anyways.
Z – Yes I would agree with that. If we are separating those sides. Which side to you feel comfortable moving forward?
L – I feel way better with the not girl side.. none of those girls talk game with me.
Z – Yeah.. Yeah..
L – which is why they were freaking out when I won HOH they had no idea what I was going to do.
Z – they are also gunning for Kat right now. Umm.. so … that alone wouldn’t make you direct target. so like If we’re thinking you put up Adrian not Ashley. The next they win it (Girl side) Their noms will be Keanu, Kat and Kelley . One of them is taken off the block Ryle goes on the block. They are trying to split up Kat and Ryle.
L – Worst case I put AShley up and she wins the blockbuster Kelley goes home.

L – this is a tomorrow thing I will have to make a Solid argument as to win I’m not putting up Adrian.

Keanu says the votes are in her favour but don’t leave it to chance.
Kelley – I’ll pull myself down again.
Keanu – they named the blockbusters after us.

Keanu – I thought off the block was a good name but now I’m thinking Block party. WE’re the block party.

Keanu now goes on about eventually he’ll face a veto that he’s doesn’t win so he doesn’t want to be on the block “Too Much”
Keanu – If it’s not anything to do with LUCK I’m going to win

Keanu – I’m going to win every single time that’s rolling the dice for you guys in this game. There’s enough luck already involved. You don’t want to throw another piece of luck into it. If it’s anything Skill based.
Keanu says the next HOH to win that wants to try to put him up will try to backdoor him.
Keanu – If AShley goes up on the block and you take yourself down that’s another one of their numbers. Now we’re even.
Keanu – as the numbers start dwindling if I’m not nominated my chances of a chip getting pulled is very high they just get higher week after week after week.
Keanu – HOH Heist part 2 is almost complete. We are some animals. To be on the block back to back weeks get yourself both off and send opposing numbers home back to back weeks… That is some GANGSTER shit

kelley and keanu are probably the best hope of targeting actual targets, so both need to stay in the house.
Agreed. Those two are probably the only two who would put up big targets from the women’s side. What do they have to lose? They’re already going up every week anyway, so why not?
Ugh, Lauren, stop leaving it up to Kelley and just make the nomination yourself. No matter what you choose, that side is going to hate you anyway. Tsk tsk.
yeah, it’s not really who you nominate, but how you nominate them. do you do it i a way that deflects blame from yourself or in a way to build trust among those not nominated that insulates you from being targeted in the future. there are like a million different ways to nominate people and lauren’s failing to see this as an opportunity to put up her targets while building trust with the rest of the house so that if her targets come after her she can just rally the votes to stay rendering such targeting moot while still requiring her targets to actually win power to do anything which they don’t have terrific chances of even achieving.
personally i would’ve put up ashley/jimmy/mickey as initial noms. claim that rachel always says people should play individual games and those three are just floating listening to whatever rachel says which isn’t the type of players we want in this house. hopefully rachel gets super mad, exposing how hypocritical she is about how to play the game and puts a huge target on her back, alienating herself from the house including her allies and making herself radioactive to even talk to in the house. from there morgan’s probably the better renomination option than rachel, though rachel’s still a consideration. and i really don’t care who goes home. all their games would require massive damage control to recover and i can coast to jury as that group get picked off, at which point i probably shift focus to the next phase of the game.
Since they are talking numbers, is there no way for them to rally votes against Will to keep Kelley if Ashley did win Blockbuster? That would be win-win for their numbers game against the girl side going forward.

I am betting it took Lauren about an hour and a half to come to the realization that she’s going to be targeted by the people targeting her regardless of who she renoms because they were already going to target her. In the case of damned if you do she should just nom one of the people targeting her.

Lauren knows Will jumped from the Bond to the other side. What she doesn’t know… Will jumped LAST WEEK. His indignation is bullshit. He’s playing it up.
Last week Will was eager to join an alliance with the other black houseguests (the only ones he trusts in the house because they are black). He tried to play the middle this week and it didn’t work because he’s the house pawn that doesn’t want to be a pawn.
HE contributes nothing ELSE to the game.
WHAT did WILL do to guarantee his OWN safety?
NOTHING.
he skipped one on ones. He made no argument to save himself, instead saying do what you’re gonna do when the HOH hunted HIM down. He went to bed early.
Even his complaints to the ones he trusts (though correct) have to be earmarked with… but Will did NOTHING to keep himself off the block.
He expected Ava to save him. He expected his trusted ones to save him. THEY were busy saving themselves, sorry toots. Maybe get your arse off the lawnchair or the bed, and do SOMETHING to save yourself.

Vince, at least at this point, appears to be trying to play the middle game. He’s aligning with players on both sides of the house and floating to whoever has power that week and trying to get close to them.
I can’t yet accuse him of playing an “Andy the rat” game, as I haven’t actually heard him ratting out one side to the other yet, but I’m sure that’s probably coming. It’s pretty much inevitable when somebody is playing the middle, going back and forth, sharing information as they do so. So far his floating has pretty much just involved sucking up to the new HOH, and trying to “influence” their nominations, as he sees things from their side of the power structure, but of course, being a chickenshit by nature, his advice always includes the admonition “try not to make anyone mad at you”.
