Lounge room – Vinny and Rachel
Vinny – I am just really sorry. I was really sorry. Not for squashing it again. Rachel – Yeah. Vinny – I’m sorry. I don’t mean to cut you off. I just know you have no reason. To stop saying that, please continue ’cause I’m. I’m telling you how to feel about me when I’m telling you I don’t want you to feel that way. And then I’m telling you you’re going to though. Rachel – Well, I was just gonna say, why don’t we start over? Vinny – Again, again, how many chances are you gonna give me, Rachel? Rachel – I mean, I guess until one of us leaves. Vinny – I don’t want either of us to, at least for another few weeks. I don’t want to play the middle. I don’t want to be the wishy washy flip flopper guy. And maybe I maybe Ava puts me up and I get booted on Thursday. But I still am glad that I’m having this conversation because I would be even more mad if I didn’t. No matter what happens, that’s the conscience in the heart and minded me of I need to at least just allow myself to open up. Allow myself to tell you what I’m feeling, why I’m feeling it, whether I’m frustrated and why I’m frustrated. And here are your general thoughts on it and I could have started being here and you could have, ah, stop OK. Yeah, there’s a lot of things you could have reacted with, but it’s been nothing but grace. Rachel – Just tell me the truth. It’s that simple. Vinny – OK. Rachel – Just don’t lie, that’s probably a good start. Vinny – If there’s somebody that you want to be able to work with and get on the same page with and not go after each other and I’ll be honest with you too. I promise you. How about, how about this? I’ll make you a promise where if I ever do say I need to put Rachel on the block, if I ever get power, I’m going to say, Rachel, I’m targeting you. You’re my target this week, even before I win, H, O, H, I, don’t know if that’s ever going to happen. I don’t think it is. I think there’s a lot of lying in this house. And I think there’s a lot of people who say I will never, ever put you up. And they’ll tell that eye to eye to everybody and then never want to win HOH.
12:05pm Ava comes out of the diary room – Who wants to see my HOH room??
She and the other house guests start heading up stairs. Ava – There’s a new sheriff in town! They all head into the HOH room. Ava quickly looks at her HOH photos and then opens her HOH letter and reads it.
Ava reads her HOH letter –
“Dear Ava, if you are reading this, that means you one head of
household for that week. I am incredibly proud of you for climbing the ranks in the competition. I’ve been keeping busy with the chores and stuff to distract myself from your absence. Like yesterday I cleaned the whole apartment and went shopping for some new clothes. I’m terrible at shopping, I did get this dope red and white tracksuit that looks sick, I’m having band practice today to get ready for the show on Thursday. A little nervous to not have you there because I’m always a bit more at ease when you were there, your sister and dad have been sending me very kind messages checking up on me. The apartment feels quieter without you. I’m not trying to make this letter too sappy because I need you to keep your focus on winning since you’re ahead of household for this week. That’s a great start, but just remember to keep focused and don’t trust anyone, I’m keeping busy with the with things and if I get lonely I reach out to a friend or go see my dad. I selfishly want you back home but at the same time obviously I want you to be all in anyways. I love you more than anything. Ava XOXO, caleb”
Ava – Thanks, guys. All right, you guys can all leave. It’s fine. Alright, bye everyone! (After reading her letter she tells them all they can leave, get out. Ava is ready for bed) Rachel lags behind and they chat quickly.

Ava tells Rachel her noms – Its Vinny and its Zach, Keanu
Rachel – do you want to talk quickly? Ava – Yeah, sure. I’d love to talk to you and I think you’ll enjoy it. Rachel – OK. Ava – I will say I am nominating Keanu. I know that’s maybe not the best, but it’s Vinny’s and Keanu, I think. Is that OK? Rachel – Oh my, it’s your HOH, its great. But I mean, that sounds great. Ava – I’m doing a whole smorgasbord tomorrow. It’s going to be a feast, this what I’m going to do. Sit down. Keanu will probably come up first in the name thing because he’s the most expected. Keanu, you’re the only person here I’ve yelled at. You’re on the block. The next will probably be Zach or Vinny. I can’t tell who. Vinny The Lip Pinaro. Vinny The Lip Panaro. I love you brother, but your hands in so many pots, we should call you the gardener, you know what I’m saying? Rachel – I freaking love you. I can’t. Ava – Don’t worry, Rachel. I got you, girl. Rachel – Oh, my God. Ava – I know Jimmy’s not here. Rachel – Oh, my God. Jimmy would die. Ava – You know, your hands, so many pots we had better call you a gardener, maybe something else. End it with whatever. You know, whatever. Zach. Zach. Listen, baby, I love you. I hear he’s going around shaking like a leaf, talking about how nervous he is. He doesn’t know, I said, thought you trusted me. Obviously you don’t. If you’re shaking like a leaf that I’m HOH. I said, careful again, your n!pples might fall off. Rachel – Best thing I’ve ever heard in my life. Ava – Don’t worry, Rachel. Oh, my God. I’m so happy for you. I’m so glad you got to see Caleb. This is just so amazing. I genuinely needed this. No, you did. And heart emojis. You guys are so cute. Listen. And I’m gonna. Ava – This is my plan. I’ll keep Kelly off a block. And hopefully I’ll be the first stage allegiance. And same with Rylie and Katherine. Hopefully I can win the veto or somebody wins the veto, keeps it on the same. Then I don’t have to put up Katherine or anything like that. Straight face. Rachel – I know. Ava – that’s most likely what I’m doing. Rachel – Yeah, no worries. So get a good night’s rest. I love you so much. And I’m seriously. I’m so, so happy for you. This is just like, well deserved. And I’m so happy with Caleb. It’s the universe. Ava – I wish you could have seen your kids, but no. You know what exactly? And I’ll say and if anybody has a problem with these nominations you’ll be the Renom. Rachel – I know, I know. I love you.

WTF was the competition because the feeds were down so long I thought it was some endurance comp (not the wall since they show that on the feeds but like some pressure cooker like one)?
I’m THRILLED that Vince is going on the block. And Zach going up and then bribing his way off will cause drama too so yay for that. 🙂
Keanu will hopefully win the Veto again so that Vince can stay on the block the full week and with God’s help lose the Blockbuster and follow Jimmy out the door!
Morgan better be the replacement nominee after Zach bribes his way off the block. That would be poetic.
And Mickey can be the re-nom in case Veto is used for the 5th week in a row. But ideally Keanu wins either Veto of the Blockbuster because either Morgan or Vinny need to be gone. Ideally Vinny.
i don’t understand why she would want to be hoh with the game she’s been playing. i guess her noms at least kinda make sense. keanu’s an obvious house target and zach/vinny have been trying to play the middle as much as she has and she doesn’t need that competition. kinda bummed mickey and morgan are likely safe another week, but i’ll be pretty happy for kelley if she manages a week not going up (not sure that happens if the veto is played or zach uses his bribe but it’s early. the fallout of mickey’s hoh could easily take down mickey, morgan, ashley, and/or will if ava wants to choose a side there before the week is up and noms are final (but who are we kidding, it’s ava. she definitely doesn’t want to pick a side)).
definitely not my first choice of hoh, but i’m still just so elated that jimmy is out pre-jury that i’ll take whatever this week throws us.

Spoilers were out on the end of the Knockout comp 2 hours before feeds returned. The winner spoilers came out in short bursts 25 minutes later. 45 minutes after spoilers that it was a knockout comp came out Hamsterwatch verified the other spoilers.
So what happened for 2 hours? To cause that feed outage?
Ava’s plan will be foiled by Zach at the end of the nomination ceremony. That is when he gets to pull out his bribery power.
So her backups at the moment are either Kat or Riley.
Ashley is lying about her vote. To Rachel. She says Vince did it. She’d better hope Will doesn’t tell Mickey or Ava. Because Will knows. Then again Will has been doing clean up for Ashley for days. I doubt he stops? Maybe?
Not that Ava would nom Ashley over it. Just that Ashley would be free agent.
Rachel is now against the showmance. They didn’t keep Jimmy. That means they are liars. She wants Keanu to stay this week to be her meatshield. So… Keanu is the new Brendon. Gotcha.
Vince is already spiraling. oh for god’s sake. I’ve had about enough of the chihuahua with a moustache and beanie routine.

Will Ava bother with one on ones?
Why would Ashley lie about her vote to Rachel when she’s the only one who voted with Rachel? I would think telling Rachel the truth about Ashley’s vote would solidify the bond between them.
Because Ashley wants Rachel to believe Ashley is a victim.
That way Rachel gets on her moral superiority horse against others.
Ashley has 2 modes:
push buttons to turn her allies against each other so that she is the only one each of them trust while pushing buttons with her enemies to get them to target her allies instead of her…
and victim whine about the effect of her button pushing.

So looks like the HOH competition was the one where they battle head to head and the winner picks the next two to face off. Always liked those to show exactly how safe/unsafe you feel with everyone else in the house.
Ava joked with Will that they both tried to throw it to each other so maybe they were the final 2?

My pro-Mickey feelings from last week after she put up Jimmy are gone. They are now firmly attached to Ava. So far, she’s running her HOH the way I used to envision that I would in my Big Brother dreams of long ago when I was still in my 50s. BTW, our oldest boy turns 50 on Monday. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, DAMION!(sorry about the shout-out,tried but couldn’t resist—to be fair,I wasn’t in the d/r voting on eviction). Trust me, younguns, time really does fly by. Seems like only yesterday that I turned 46 & saw a preview for a new show called “Big Brother” that was premiering that summer. I really miss (as they used to say to open The Lone Ranger, one of my favorite shows when I was a little kid) “those thrilling days of yesteryear”! Trust me, kids. If you’re lucky enough to live long & prosper(to coin a phrase), you too will be able to look back on your life wistfully. Anyway, I digress(as I often do!). Back to BB. The $10K bribe can be used during the Veto Ceremony. It’s a one-sided deal, so Ava will be forced to accept it and forced to name a renom.
