Tychon won, beating Breydon 6–1 on 6 May 2021. Breydon took Part 1 of the final Head of Household and Ty won Parts 2 and 3, then evicted Tera and sat next to Breydon. Tera cast the only vote for Breydon. Ty reached the end without once being nominated. His prize was reported as $110,000 plus a grill package and a trip for two, with $20,000 for Breydon. Canada voted Kiefer its favourite houseguest.

Fourteen houseguests, seven on each team. In finishing order:

What was the twist in Big Brother Canada 9?
Teams. The houseguests played in two sides, Team Destiny and Team Defender, and Canada chose the captains: Tina for Destiny and Kiefer for Defender. Defender lost the first three evictions — Julie, Josh and Latoya — before Destiny started losing players of its own.
Later weeks brought an Invisible HOH, won by Victoria in week 5, and two double evictions. In the second of those, on Day 55, Tera was voted out 2–0 and returned to the game the same day.
The cast also changed before the season started. One announced houseguest was removed after social media posts surfaced, and Kyle was cast in his place.

For a winner the house never once put on the block, and for an endgame that ran through Tera: out and back in a single day, then the swing vote nobody else followed.
