Big Brother Canada 7 aired on Global in 2019 and was won by Dane, who beat Anthony 7–0. It is remembered for the four-man alliance known on the feeds as the Pretty Boys — Dane, Anthony, Adam and Mark — which won most of the season’s power and put two of its members in the final two.

Who won Big Brother Canada 7?
Dane won, beating Anthony 7–0 on 9 May 2019. He took Parts 1 and 3 of the final Head of Household, with Kyra winning Part 2, then evicted Kyra and sat next to his alliance partner. All seven jurors voted for him. His prize was reported as $100,000 plus furniture, groceries and a trip for two, with $20,000 for Anthony as runner-up. The pre-jury houseguests made the finale their own: Eddie and Maki turned up in Halloween costumes.
Who was in the Big Brother Canada 7 cast?
Fifteen houseguests played. Fourteen moved in on Day 1, and Cory joined on Day 6 after Canada chose her over Holly. In finishing order:
- 1st — Dane. Four Heads of Household, two vetoes, and the final HOH. Won 7–0.
- 2nd — Anthony. Pretty Boys member. Cast the only vote that sent Adam home at the final four.
- 3rd — Kyra. Held the Blood Veto and never used it. Won HOH in week 9 and Part 2 of the final HOH.
- 4th — Adam. Won the first HOH of the season, two more after it, four vetoes, and the Secret Assassin power.
- 5th — Mark. Pretty Boys member. Put Adam on the block as HOH in week 7; voted out 2–0 in week 9.
- 6th — Damien. Won Canada’s Top Level Clearance vote on premiere night. Saved himself with the veto in week 8, then went out 3–0 the same night.
- 7th — Este. Nominated three times; out 3–1 on the second double eviction night.
- 8th — Cory. Canada’s 15th houseguest. HOH in week 6, then named as a third nominee by Adam’s Secret Assassin and voted out.
- 9th — Sam. HOH in week 5. Went up as the replacement after Dane’s veto in week 6 and became the first juror.
- 10th — Kiera. Won the veto on the first double eviction night and saved herself; out 5–1 a week later.
- 11th — Eddie. Out 8–0 on the first double eviction night.
- 12th — Chelsea. HOH in week 3; out 9–0 in the first half of the double eviction.
- 13th — Kailyn. Backdoored in Chelsea’s HOH week, out 10–0.
- 14th — Maki. Out 6–5, the closest vote of the season.

What were the twists in Big Brother Canada 7?
Four twists shaped the season, and Canada decided two of them.
- Top Level Clearance: Canada voted one houseguest into a hidden lounge on premiere night. Damien won, entered first, watched the first two groups move in, then joined the last one.
- Canada’s 15th houseguest: viewers chose between Cory and Holly. Cory won, moved in after the first eviction, and was safe through the second.
- The Blood Veto: won by Kyra. It gave immunity for the sixth eviction and the power to overturn it and send the other nominee home instead. Kyra sat on it, and Kiera went.
- The Secret Assassin: Adam won the power to add a third nominee anonymously in week 7. He named Cory, who was voted out 3–1–0.
The season also ran two double evictions, on Day 27 and Day 55.
Who were the Pretty Boys?
Adam, Anthony, Dane and Mark. Between them they won eight of the season’s twelve weekly Heads of Household and seven of its eleven vetoes, and Dane added the final HOH on top. The four did not finish together. Mark put Adam on the block in week 7, Mark went out in week 9, Anthony cast the vote that ended Adam’s game at the final four, and Dane took Anthony to the end.

What is Big Brother Canada 7 remembered for?
For how completely one alliance controlled it, and for how little of the vote was ever close after week 2. Only Maki’s 6–5 eviction went to the wire; the jury then gave Dane every vote. Global’s parent company later called it the highest-rated season to that point, at an average of 1.2 million viewers an episode. OBB’s own finale write-up was blunter about the viewing: “While not a very good season it still had some great moments.”
