The new Big Brother 13 houseguests

Adam Poch, 39, Hoboken, NJ

Adam, a 39-year-old music inventory manager originally from East Brunswick, New Jersey, is one of the houseguests on the 13th season of “Big Brother.” Adam on whether or not he’d be interested in a summer showmance: “Unfortunately, not. Last year, I would have been Rachel’s little b****. I would have done anything she said. She was gorgeous, until she opened her mouth. But now I have a girlfriend at home. I love her to death. She is my motivation to win this game.”

Dominic Briones, 25, San Mateo, CA

Dominic, a 25-year-old college student originally from San Mateo, California, is one of the houseguests on the 13th season of “Big Brother.” Dominic on speaking his mind: “That’s going to be my weakness in the game. That’s what’s going to kill me. I talk too much. It’s hard for me to bite my tongue; it’s hard for me to hold back. And not only will I tell you if you’re annoying, I’ll probably tell you to shut up, eventually. It’s probably gonna be my downfall.”

Cassi Colvin, 26, Nashville, TN

Kalia Booker, 30, Los Angeles, CA

Kalia, a 30-year-old writer originally from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, is one of the houseguests on the 13th season of “Big Brother.” Kalia on the challenge of living with her fellow houseguests: “I hate living with people. I hate dirty people. I hate sharing things … I hate dumb people [laughs]. Jason Thomas, 26, Los Angeles, CA Removed from BB13

Keith Henderson, 32, Bolingbrook, IL

Keith, a 32-year-old human resources manager originally from Bolingbrook, Illinois, is one of the houseguests on the 13th season of “Big Brother.” Keith on his key to winning: “I’ve got a foolproof strategy. I’m going to align myself with three girls, Keith’s Angels. Within that alliance, each of us will have our own mini alliances. And between the four of us, we’ll determine — each week — who we want to take out. It’s not about winning every single challenge; it’s about the power of persuasion, and women are more manipulative and persuasive than men.”

Lawon Exum, 39, Inglewood, CA

Lawon, a 39-year-old legal file clerk originally from Urbana, Illinois, is one of the houseguests on the 13th season of “Big Brother.” Lawon on his all-time favorite houseguest: “Evil Dr. Will! He was who he was. He didn’t have no cut cards. When he walked into the house he was just like, ‘I’m playing the game. I’m gonna do what I gotta do. Whatever.’ That’s me. I can’t play a charade. I can do twists and turns and all that, but all in all, I am who I am.”

Porsche Briggs, 23, Miami Beach, FL

Porsche, a 23-year-old VIP cocktail waitress originally from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, is one of the houseguests on the 13th season of “Big Brother.” Porsche on her lying skills: “I am a good liar [laughs]. I mean not even just a good liar. I know how to definitely put on a façade. My job requires me to upsell $200 bottles of champagne for $1,000. And if it’s that easy for me to sell a drink, I’m sure it’s going to be easy to sell myself.”

Shelly Moore, 41, Prairieville, LA

Shelly, a 41-year-old outdoors industry executive originally from Centerville, Ohio, is one of the houseguests on the 13th season of “Big Brother.” Shelly on her favorite twist: “I love the Coup D’etat. I loved it! I thought it shook things up. I’d be happy to see that again, and I’d be happy if people voted for me to get it. Having those kinda things in your back pocket allows you to play a little bit differently.”

The three returning duos

Three pairs came back for another shot, six players in all, and between them they carried two winners, a runner-up, an America’s Favorite and a Coup d’État into the house.

Jeff and Jordan — Big Brother 11

BB11’s winning couple. Jordan won the season, Jeff won America’s Favorite Houseguest, and the two of them raced together on The Amazing Race before coming back here.

Jeff Schroeder

• Returning from: Big Brother 11
• Age: 33
• Hometown: Norridge, Illinois
• Occupation: Advertising salesman
• BB13 partner: Jordan
• Previous finish: 5th place, Big Brother 11

Jeff returns two summers after becoming one of Big Brother 11’s most popular houseguests. He won a Head of Household and two Power of Veto competitions that season, and America handed him the Coup d’État — which he used to tear up Chima’s nominations and put Jessie and Natalie on the block instead. He was evicted in fifth place and took the $25,000 America’s Favorite Houseguest prize.
His relationship with Jordan began inside the BB11 house. Between seasons the two competed on The Amazing Race 16, finishing seventh, and they walk into Big Brother 13 together as one of the three Dynamic Duos.

Jordan Lloyd

• Returning from: Big Brother 11
• Age: 24
• Hometown: Matthews, North Carolina
• Occupation: Receptionist
• BB13 partner: Jeff
• Previous finish: Winner, Big Brother 11

Jordan comes in as one of only two returning players who has already won this game. In Big Brother 11 she survived four nominations, reached the final two with Natalie and took the season 5–2, walking out with the $500,000. She is on the list of past winners before she has played a day of this one.
She and Jeff met in the BB11 house and stayed together afterwards, running The Amazing Race 16 as a team before returning here as a Dynamic Duo.

Rachel and Brendon — Big Brother 12

The engaged BB12 showmance everybody calls Brenchel. Rachel finished ninth and Brendon sixth their first time out, and they got engaged in the gap.

Rachel Reilly

• Returning from: Big Brother 12
• Age: 26
• Residence: Las Vegas, Nevada
• Occupation: Event hostess
• BB13 partner: Brendon
• Previous finish: 9th place, Big Brother 12

Rachel is back after a single summer away, and she was impossible to miss the first time. She won two Head of Household competitions in Big Brother 12, built the season’s defining showmance with Brendon, and became the first member of that jury when she went out in ninth.

Brendon Villegas

• Returning from: Big Brother 12
• Age: 31
• Hometown: Riverside, California
• Occupation: Graduate student
• BB13 partner: Rachel
• Previous finish: 6th place, Big Brother 12

Brendon returns a year after finishing sixth in Big Brother 12. He attached himself to Rachel almost the moment that season started and turned out to be one of its better competitors, taking a Head of Household and more than one Power of Veto.
The two of them got engaged between seasons and come back as a Dynamic Duo.

Evel Dick and Daniele — Big Brother 8

Father and daughter, and they took both seats in the BB8 final two. Dick beat Daniele 5–2 to win it.

Evel Dick Donato

• Returning from: Big Brother 8
• Age: 48
• Residence: Los Angeles, California
• Occupation: Website CEO
• BB13 partner: Daniele
• Previous finish: Winner, Big Brother 8

Richard “Evel Dick” Donato is back four years after winning Big Brother 8. He went into that season as part of its rivals twist and found himself living with his estranged daughter, and the two of them fought their way through a summer of confrontations and repeated trips to the block to reach the final two together. He took it 5–2 and the $500,000, and joined the past winners.

Daniele Donato

• Returning from: Big Brother 8
• Age: 24, turning 25 during the season
• Residence: Huntington Beach, California
• Occupation: College student
• BB13 partner: Evel Dick
• Previous finish: Runner-up, Big Brother 8

Daniele made the final two with her father in Big Brother 8 and was only 21 by the end of it. She was the strongest competitor in that house by a distance, and still lost the vote 5–2, collecting the $50,000 runner-up cheque.
She is in college and living in Huntington Beach now. What makes the return interesting is that she and Dick were being described as estranged again going into this one.
