9:45pm The live feeds return from being blocked for the Eviction and Head of Household competition. When the live feeds switch back on, Rick is in the kitchen wearing the HOH key around his neck. All the house guests are in the kitchen chatting about the HOH competition and congratulating Rick on his win.
In the bedroom – Rick to Barrett – Some people don’t think we’re close, if you’re willing to go up as a pawn.. Barrett – don’t even mess with me! Don’t even. Dude. Rick – you’re in great shape. Barrett – I’ll keep my ears open. Rick – I don’t have that many ideas, like I will really collaborate with the group. I am wide open. I will say where my head is at is like I don’t want to put anyone right back up. Like if we can avoid that. I don’t want to be that guy but like whatever we need to do for us. Barrett – I am so happy for you. Rick jokes – And if you talk to Drew… I obviously know that he threw it… the exact right move and I saw it. Barrett – I’ll let him know.
In the storage room – Rome and Rick
Rick – You’re probably going to go up as a pawn. He then tells Rome just kidding. Rome – now question for you. Where does Lyric fall in your play? Rick – I don’t know. Rome – OK Rick – because I gave her so many opportunities, right. To give me anything. And she didn’t. Rome – Yeah. Rick – But I don’t know. I really don’t know. I’d love to hear more about it. Like when we have some privacy. Rome – OK. Rick – Let’s talk. Let’s talk. Rome – Congratulations, though. Big dog. Rick – Thank you. Thank you, man
10:20pm Lounge room – Rome and Drew
Rome is worried that Rick might nominate Lyric from his previous comments about her not talking to him at and how he doesn’t know where her head is at. Drew and Rome plan to talk with Rick to hopefully make a deal with him so that he doesn’t nominate Lyric. Rome tells Drew that he is safe. Drew – I hope so, I shared a bed with him all week. Rome comments on how Lyric apparently volunteered to be a havenot and he doesn’t understand why. He says that he will try to just volunteer to take her place. They comment on how Melody practically hid under the table when havenots were being picked.
10:52pm Bathroom – Melody, Lyric and Mallory
Melody is complaining about how we can’t sleep in her bed. (Due to someone’s snoring) She says that she would rather sleep on the havenot floor or on the floor of the other bedroom. Mallory offers to alternate trading beds or Melody can sleep in the pod with her. She says that Taylor slept in her pod the last couple nights with her.
11:10pm Bathroom – Rome and Lyric
Rome – are you going to shower? Lyric – Yeah. Rome – I’m going to shower next to you. Lyric – Yes, let’s go. Not in the cold one. Rome – No, I’m gonna get my body accustomed to it. That’s why I’m doing things I do for you. Lyric – I genuinely feels so strongly for you. It’s crazy. I almost said I love you. Rome – Don’t. I may have almost done it last night.
11:20pm Bedroom – Rick and Dee
Rick – I think I might have no choice but to put three women up. Dee – okay.
11:35pm Kitchen – The house guests are in the kitchen chatting and eating. The havenots are all eating as their officially havenots at midnight.
11:46pm Storage Room – Rome picks up Lyric and puts her on the storage room island. They start making out. Rome – Got to get it now because I’m not going to get it later. At least I’ll be sleeping next to you. You’re the only saving grace with this.. Lyric – I really wanted to get HOH. I heard there are no cameras in the HOH shower.. Rome – I heard that too. Lyric – I had a weird conversation with Angela today. Rome – Angela lives vicariously through all the hot girls..

Lala comments on Rome and Lyric. Lyric – I’m Mother Mary, nothing is happening but kissing. Lala starts talking about rings and diamonds.

The ones I want to go ASAP (in order of preference to go), Angela, Dee, Jason, Devens, Melody and Rome.
I might have liked Devens better if Dee and Angela had not gone into the house too; but they did.

I like Devens so I guess I can’t be that mad that he won it just make the game more predictable when one side keeps winning. I’m glad that he will obviously protect his main allies in Dee, Barrett, and Drew but I wish that didn’t also mean safety for crazy Angela…
And as a fan of Rome/Lyric I don’t want them to be broken up just yet.
Ideally he goes after Melody or better yet fake and messy AF Jason.

when someone explains that HOH was a pairs comp knock out round one… and because Devens did not have a partner he got a by to round two… (like the shuffleboard comp and last time they did it team / pair no partner disqualified the houseguest from playing. It was Tucker and MJ that were out). What do you think that will do to my prodomanipulation sense? The one I am trying SO hard to ignore.
So the odds of winning increase since 6 houseguests are already knocked out before he even plays. mkay. Not a Grodism. mmhmm.

Devens just said he is going after three girls that have not been nominated previously. And obviously Dee and Angela are immune since they are his top allies. He said Haley and him made a deal to not target each other (apparently they were the final 2 in the HOH comp) so that only leaves one scenario for his noms: Lyric, Melody, and Latrice.
We’ll see how that goes but I would be fine with it as long as Lyric survives. Rome needs to pull a Brendon and win the Veto for his girl… If she is on the block come eviction night I don’t know how anyone lets her survive. I guess a showmance is a shield but if it is between voting out her or Latrice come on that’s a no brainer and I like Lyric.
Not a fan of showmances because showmancers focus on themselves first & foremost. Producers think it’s good for ratings.
Considering BB has had hundreds of houseguests since it began, there’s only a handful of showmance couples that are still together.

There’s a young woman who looks EXACTLY like Haley that lives not far from me…Exact face, Exact body,,,,same hair, same height…roughly same age,,,.even dresses like her. If I didn’t know better, I would swear she had been cast onto this season. But I live in NL, Canada, so not likely!!
I hope Angela gets the 24 hour of isolation punishment. Soon. She’ll go nuttier than usual.

Holy shit what a night. Rick Devens’ first hoh was legendary. 5AM and people just getting to sleep.
