Where it stands
Ashley’s gone, 14-0, and Rick Devens has the HOH key. What started as a normal round of one-on-ones turned into the most aggressive HOH opening of the season: by sunrise, Devens has settled on Melody, Lyric, and Jason as his nominees, with Rome loaded as the real target the moment anyone touches the veto. The why is the story — Rome spent the night quietly trying to get Devens to sacrifice his own people, floating Barrett, Drew, Yash, Lala, and Mallory as alternate nominees, and when that came out in front of the group, a HOH plan turned into a full alliance. It has a name now: Toolshed. Seven votes are already counted out and waiting.
But Rome isn’t sitting still. In a kitchen conversation Devens’ side never saw, Rome and Jason are running their own numbers, testing whether Drew can be flipped, plotting to wedge Melody away from the group, and planning to squeeze Haley until Chuk turns on her himself. They’re one flip short of matching Toolshed’s votes outright — which means this isn’t a blowout heading into nominations, it’s a real fight, and both sides know it.
Rome asked Devens to protect only Lyric and Jason, so Devens was leaning toward a safe trio of Melody, Mallory, and Lala. Then Angela stormed onto the scene, ruled out Mallory entirely, and activated Chaos Devens — so now it’s Melody, Jason, and Lyric going up, with Rome loaded as the real target the second anyone touches the veto.

11:50 AM
Rome and Lyric are alone in the storage room, and the conversation turns serious fast. Rome tells her they’re “in a very dire place” right now, the kind of spot where you’re not really supposed to trust anyone. Lyric agrees, saying she felt so much better once she opened up to him — admitting she didn’t trust him before. Rome tells her she should, that he’s “given her zero reason not to.”
The mood lightens from there. Lyric says she wanted the HOH badly, if only to end up snuggled in the HOH bed instead of the have-not room. Rome tells her he’s saving his HOH run for next week since he threw this one, and the two joke about a house rumor that there are no cameras in the HOH shower.
Lyric brings up an odd exchange she had with Angela earlier in the day — Angela apparently called her “Daddy” and told her she likes watching Lyric work the room. Rome already has a theory: he and Jason had discussed that Angela “lives vicariously through hot girls,” living through the women in the house who can get her the things she wants for herself. Lyric reassures him the only person she actually wants to be with is him.
Rome presses for more on what Angela actually said, but Lyric can’t fully recall the specifics, chalking it up to Angela just being “weird.” Rome teases her about having a flirty personality in the house; Lyric pushes back, saying she flirts in here, but outside the house, with a boyfriend, she’s straight. Rome admits he’s the one who took the bait anyway. The clip ends quieter, with Lyric telling him she thought he didn’t like her — “how could I be so stupid” — and Rome echoing the same line right back.

12:26 AM
Feeds pick back up with Devens tearing into his HOH basket. He gets pickles which excites Rome

12:52 am Drew has a secret

1:37 am Yash and Devens
Devens and Yash talk one-on-one. Devens says he doesn’t want to put the same people up twice and would rather keep Yash close than risk losing him to “the boys.” Yash names Rome, Barrett, and Drew as the three he trusts most.

1:37 am Devens and Haley
Devens finally sits down with Haley. He confirms what’s already made the rounds — Lala tried to float her name to him, but he shut it down, citing the deal from their final-two pact before he won. Haley laughs it off; Barrett had already tipped her that half the house was “shitting their pants” she might win the HOH herself, and she doesn’t hide that she’d have come in swinging: “If you talk shit about me, get the fuck out.”
They dig into who spoiled the round. Devens says Melody, thinking she was about to be paired against him, dropped Drew as her partner the second the pairings leaked — after Drew had tried to team with her. Combined with Melody floating his name the day before, Devens is done deliberating: “That would probably be my target.” Haley agrees Melody isn’t locked in with anyone.
For the other two seats, they walk the board. Haley raises Rome as a hypothetical backdoor before immediately hedging — “I don’t even know if it’s worth doing” — and Devens agrees it’d be a lot to take on this early. Lyric gets floated too, since Devens has never talked game with her and putting her up would rattle Rome’s side, but the two land on Mallory instead, reasoning it’s the safer read since neither Lala nor Lyric has broken strategy with him.
Haley also relays a warning about Jason — he cornered her in the yard days ago and laid out his plan: get rid of “all the giggly girls,” then go after “all the big guys,” starting with Devens and Rome. She says he vented the same plan to Chuk. Separately, she recounts a tense pre-competition moment with Taylor, who accused her of trying to “flip the vote” — a reference to a promise Haley says she made and kept.
They close the conversation with Red Corner aligned on Melody as the target, Devens saying he’ll sort out who fills the other two seats from there.

2:00 am Devens and Angela
Angela is next in, and she gets straight to business. She tells Devens not to give Drew anything going forward — “In fact, don’t tell him anything… I don’t trust him at all.” She says Barrett and Dee are the only two she’s being straight with, and that she’s been building relationships with Chuk, Kamu, Yash, and Haley instead, betting those competitors trust Devens more after this week.
She pivots hard to Rome. She doesn’t buy that he threw the competition, and lays out the case for backdooring him outright: “If I had gotten HOH tonight, I would backdoor Rome… he only got one shot to get back in this house.” She’s already counted the votes on the memory wall — Rome would have six at most, since whoever goes up alongside him is already out of the count. Dee, she says, is fully on board and thinks Rome’s “an ass.”
On the other seats, Angela is firm that Mallory’s off limits — she’s told Mallory she’d have her back, and calls what she just went through “traumatic.” She rules out Melody too, in name only: “I’m so sick of her… if she went, I would not care,” landing on her as an easy, low-cost target both of them are fine with. For the third seat, Angela pushes Lyric specifically to rattle Rome: “Really fuck him over.”
The wrinkle is that Lyric and Jason are the two names Rome personally asked Devens to protect. Angela argues that’s exactly the point — nominate both, since either one reads as “war” against Rome anyway. Devens works out the vote math with her, counting five solid votes on their side, enough to take Jason out over the block instead if no one wins veto.
They agree on the information plan for the rest of Crossovers: Barrett and Drew get told about the other two noms in advance, but not the Rome angle (The forming of the Crossovers) that gets revealed only right before the ceremony, with both of them kept telling people he’s “undecided” until then. Angela also says that if Jason “starts his little pissy shit” once noms go up, she’ll call him out in front of the whole house for what he’s done to her. Devens leans into the framing they’ve been building toward all night: “When I go up on noms tomorrow, I’m just like, guys, it’s war… we all know the house is divided.” Angela suggests he dress it up with a survivor angle — the tribe already split down the middle.
Before she leaves, Devens says it plainly: “Jason, lyric, melody… all in.” Angela tells him to sleep, tells him she’ll check in in the morning, and heads out. Devens immediately calls the next person into HOH: “Hey, Chuck. Come into my office.”

2:02 am Dee and Haley can listen in on the conversation that is going on in the Head of household (They heard the one with Yash as well)

2:11 am Chuk and Devens HOH
Chuk is next in, and the two immediately fall into the Melody story — Devens walks him through the partner-swap play-by-play, that she wanted him as her target, then dropped Drew the second the pairings leaked. “I think Melody’s the target,” Devens says, “and I’m not wasting this HOH. I don’t give a fuck.” Chuk pushes back gently — Devens is in a strong spot, well-liked, with real leverage this early — but Devens isn’t interested in playing it safe: “I don’t think they’re going to love me after tomorrow… I don’t care.”
Chuk relays that Kamu’s already clocked Lyric and Melody as the likely noms and floats the last seat as a real decision between Lala and Jason. He makes the case for Jason hard: “Jason’s working the house like a fucking puppet… lying to all of us guys saying, I’m saving all you strong guys for the end.” His read is that it’s a stalling tactic to avoid getting voted out himself. On Melody, Chuk’s take is more layered than most people have given her — he doesn’t think she has a real core yet and is “going about it horribly,” but calls her “a strong player” who tracks the house’s alliances closely.
Devens lays out his plan for the noms speech: reassure Taylor, Yash, and someone he calls “Pipe Queen” directly that he’s got them and isn’t putting them back up, framing it as protecting them from getting thrown under the bus by the trio. Chuk’s already working that angle from his end too, telling Yash he’s his “best friend” in the house, though he flags Yash as still a bit of a 50/50 read on where his loyalty actually sits.
Chuk also gives Devens the inside view on Rome and Lyric’s showmance — they go quiet the second he walks in to brush his teeth, which he takes as confirmation they’re talking strategy, so he’s been deliberately parking himself in shared spaces to disrupt it. The two close out planning to regroup again once the dust settles from noms.

2:20 am Mallory and Devens
Mallory gets her own sit-down. She tells Devens flat out she doesn’t want to go up again, and he doesn’t make her wait for it: “I don’t want to put you up. I don’t want to put you up again.” He confirms Mallory, Yash, and Taylor are all safe in his head right now, and asks her to keep that between them — if he’d actually been planning to nominate her, he wouldn’t tip his hand like this, since the alternative is “four days of her telling everyone what a liar I am.”
He tells her that if her name ever did come up, it wouldn’t be personal — just that she reads as less locked in with the house than some others — and says he’d like that to change, framing this conversation as a start. Mallory, for her part, keeps her advice general rather than naming names: put someone up from “the side that you think is sinking” so he doesn’t get tied to it himself. Devens confirms the Haley deal directly to her — the final-two promise from their HOH round — and says he’s not interested in breaking it: “I don’t want to be the deceitful survivor.”
The two spend the rest of the conversation building rapport rather than strategizing — Mallory reflects on how close she came to going home the week before, saying the house expected her gone if she hadn’t pulled herself off, and Devens reassures her there’s no reason to put her through the block twice. They agree to keep the safety promise quiet, close it out warmly, and Devens sends her off with the nickname that’s apparently already stuck: “Thanks, Mallory.” “PQ.” “It’s weird calling you Mallory.”

2:30 am Melody and Devens
Melody tells Devens she genuinely doesn’t know where she stands — nobody’s given her a real read, and she’s been left to make her own assumptions. She’s upfront about not wanting to go up, but frames it carefully: if he needs a number, she’s available, no strings attached. She asks if there’s any hint he can give her, acknowledging how hard the decision must be this early.
Devens gives her the same noncommittal answer he’s been giving everyone tonight — he’s just listening to people, hoping someone hands him a “bombshell” that makes the call easy for him. He admits he thought he had more time before noms. He leans on the “no dance partner” framing again, telling her he doesn’t think it was a coincidence he ended up without one, and that he’s trying to end HOH with more friends made than enemies. Melody responds warmly, calling herself “open for business” and telling him he’d have won the very first HOH if he’d competed.

2:32 am Angela and Dee
Dee and Angela regroup to compare notes. Dee’s read on Drew is blunt — she thinks he’s a pure numbers-follower, comparing him to Andy from BB15: “He’s gonna choose whatever side is good. He can go either way.” She says she deliberately rattled him earlier tonight to keep him on edge.
She walks Angela through the plan as it stands: Jason and Lyric go up, with a third name lost in the cut, but the real target is Rome. If the veto gets used to save Jason or Lyric, Rome goes up as the replacement. Dee’s specific about why Lyric is one of the two — putting her on the block all but guarantees someone uses the veto to save her, which is exactly the opening they need. She’s confident Rome can’t survive that scenario once the house sees him as the actual threat he is, and expects Lala and Jason to fight hardest for him at the veto competition once they realize what’s happening.
The conversation shifts to house management post-Rome. Dee says her approach with Kamu and Chuk is to make them feel like “head honchos” — listening to their ideas, not overstepping, because if they don’t feel like they have real say, “it’ll be our asses that go out.” She’s fully confident in Barrett’s loyalty, calling him underestimated by the rest of the house. Her longer-term read: once Rome’s dealt with, the actual competition isn’t the trio of women, it’s “the big guys.”
The conversation winds down from there into more personal territory between the two of them, closing out with some lighthearted horseplay rather than game talk.

2:38 am Lyric and Devens
Lyric opens by explaining her silence up to now — she didn’t know who to trust coming in and wanted to see how the first eviction vote broke before committing to anyone. She thanks Devens for a moment from the day before: he’d found her on the hammock and given her a heads-up on how the vote was going to go. With the vote landing unanimous, she says she can now take people at their word.
She makes him a direct promise — if she ever wins HOH, she won’t nominate him, and she’ll be a number for him going forward. She’s careful to separate this from her closeness with Rome: she calls him a gentleman and appreciates him looking out for her, but insists she’s playing her own game and making her own calls, not just following his lead. Devens reciprocates with the same “no dance partner” framing he’s used with others tonight, and the two close warmly.
Worth noting: this is Lyric proactively building an individual safety net with Devens that’s explicitly independent of Rome — she’s hedging, not just riding his coattails.

2:40 am Jason and Devens
Immediately warmer in tone than his read from other people tonight suggests — lots of mutual charisma-bonding (“cut from the same stupid cloth”). Jason says he appreciated Devens approaching him first, since he didn’t know where he stood and spent week one building broad rapport rather than committing to a side. He says he has no “true allegiance to a big majority of people,” but names a few people he trusts that overlap with Devens’ circle — when Devens says “and Rome,” Jason answers, “that’s my dad.”
He pledges to help with whatever target Devens picks this week, and makes a specific, self-initiated offer: since “the girls” already come to him to vent, he can go smooth things over with whoever ends up nominated — “if I can ease some pains and tell little baby lies to keep them comfortable, that’s an easy thing for me to do.”
This is a direct, real-time confirmation of exactly what Devens told Barrett about this same exchange later that night, almost word for word. Strong cross-check between two independent transcripts, and it matches Chuk’s r

2:50 am Barrett and Deven
The longest and most consequential of the four. Devens tells Barrett that Rome named him as someone who could go up — not, as Barrett had heard secondhand from Dee, that Rome was “talking shit” about him and Drew. Devens also reveals Rome invited him into something called the “Four Seasons Alliance,” supposedly including Drew — which Drew never mentioned to Barrett. Barrett says his trust in Drew has been shaky since Drew got close with Kamu; Devens agrees Drew’s loyal “in his heart” but is clearly playing multiple sides, a concern he says Angela shares too. Both reconfirm they’re “locked in” with each other.
Devens lays out the full plan and gives Barrett the noms directly: “I think literally at the thing, I put up Melody, Lyric, and Jason.” Rome asked him to protect only Lyric and Jason — so if either comes off the block via veto, Rome goes up in their place. Barrett raises a specific worry: Rome could win the veto himself and use it on Lyric as a grand gesture, sacrificing his own safety net. Devens argues for striking now rather than later, reasoning that as a known “icon,” Rome has less accumulated audience support at this point than he might build up if he survives longer — the first real confirmation of some kind of return/audience-vote mechanic this season, something that’s only come up before as an unconfirmed guess from Kamu on day one (“battleback?”). Worth flagging as newly corroborated context if you want to track it going forward.
Devens confirms he’s keeping Drew out of the backdoor-Rome specifics until the last possible moment — same as what he told Angela — with Barrett looped in early alongside Angela and Dee. Barrett gives his own independent read on Drew, unprompted: “he’s taking his straddle game, his floating game, and he’s really just going to the max with it… trying to play all sides.” Devens also admits, almost offhand, that he’d previously and sincerely reassured Rome of safety before changing course: “I inadvertently totally lied to Rome.” The two close out with Devens thanking Barrett for finally getting to contribute, after feeling like Barrett and Drew had been “carrying the ball” all week.

3:02 am Devens and Taylor
He tells her she’s not going up they hug

3:09 am Drew and Devens
Devens and Drew are alone in HOH working through the numbers when Drew makes the pitch that starts everything: pull Red Corner and Crossovers into the same room and formally merge them. “Our five is like the core,” he says, with three more — Jason, Lyric, and Melody — kept around as shields, since the house sees them as bigger targets than even the vets. Devens is already circling the same idea from a different angle, floating the exact bait-and-backdoor mechanics for Rome: nominate the trio, let someone use the veto, and Rome walks right into the empty seat — “it’s like their fault that they use the veto.”
The two run through who’s solid. Drew admits his trust in Drew — in himself, really — has been shaky with Rome telling people he’s “in a lot of alliances,” and Devens confirms Rome doesn’t see Drew as a priority at all: “You’re not Lyric, you’re not Lala, you’re not Jason.” By the end, both are circling the same conclusion: strike now, while Rome’s still an unproven quantity to the audience, rather than let him bank goodwill. Devens sums up the mood before they break: “Is it just 3 a.m., or do I want to blow everything up?” Drew doesn’t hesitate: “If it’s not blown up now, we’re going to get got.”

3:30 AM
Dee joins, and the plan turns into arithmetic. Devens says it plainly for the first time out loud: “Right now what I want to do is nominate Melody, Jason, Lyric… and then when one of them comes off, we put up Rome and send them home.” The three count guaranteed votes against Rome if it comes to that: Chuk, Angela, Kamu, Barrett, Dee, Drew, and Haley — seven, more than enough. Devens asks Dee directly for her blessing to “blow up my own game and take all the smoke.” She doesn’t hesitate: “This is your own game.”
Drew and Dee build out the delivery plan together — gather Crossovers and Red Corner in one room before nominations, tell them nothing concrete, just that they’re trusted and safe, and let the gratitude do the work: “When you do that and drop the bomb, these people feel super indebted to you, and then they rage war against the other people.” Devens likes the joke of naming Rome without naming him — “you should say his name rhymes with gnome” — and the three agree the plan is happening, tonight, not tomorrow. Devens credits Angela with getting him here in the first place: “This is us leaving our imprint on the scale… it was Angela’s idea.”

4:00 am Devens new alliance the tool shed
What follows is a quiet, half-comic scramble to wake the group without tipping off Rome’s side — someone jokes about wanting to “cut my throat” after getting startled awake, another braces for the Diary Room fallout: “Jason just came out of DR… he’s going to have Rome squirming in his pants.” Someone cracks that Dee’s out there “trying to get up Barrett… on a spinning bed with Roman Lynch in the room.”
Once the room settles, Devens formally opens it up: “I wanted to run this by you guys… to make sure that you’re on board and that I’m not doing anything that’s gonna upset anyone in this group. And I’m going to take all the smoke.” Then he runs the actual speech out loud for the first time as a dry run: “Tomorrow, nomination ceremony, I’m going Melody, Lyric, Jason. Because Rome told me — the only two people that I really want you to protect are Lyric and Jason.” Then the part that changes the room’s temperature: “He suggested Yash. He suggested Drew and Barrett.” A beat, then, from the room: “Motherfucker.”
Angela delivers the line that becomes the speech’s closer, workshopped live and clearly proud of it: “This may be Big Brother. If you look at everybody — pause — but it’s been feeling more like two tribes from the beginning.” The room reacts instantly — “mic drop,” “banger of a line” — and Devens folds it straight into the plan. He keeps going, listing off exactly who Rome tried to get him to sacrifice: “Yash, he said I should put you up. Lala, he said I should put you up. Mallory, he said I should put you up. Who am I missing? … Melody.”
Partway through, someone starts knocking. The room goes dead quiet — “don’t answer,” “lock the door,” “watch the door” — while whoever’s outside eventually gives up. Nobody in the room seems shaken by it; if anything it feeds the energy: “This is the best Big Brother show I’ve ever watched.”

Then the naming. Drew’s the one who kicks it off: “I’m a huge fan of this show. And since I was eight, I wanted to make an alliance called The Tool Shed. Because we’re all tools… and we’re gonna work together.” The room piles on immediately — “dude, you’re a tool,” “I’m the biggest tool” — with Devens owning it too: “I’ve been called a tool.” Angela adds the capper: “I’m not the sharpest tool in the shed… I have screws loose.” It’s settled fast: “I think we’re the tool shed… because we’re going to get these tools out of here.” The room counts it off together — “Tool shed. One, two, three. Tool shed.” — and Angela closes it: “Boom. Drop the hammer. Boom.”
Devens seals it: “Tomorrow we’re going to drop the bomb. Make sure as we’re going into tomorrow, we do whatever we can to protect it.”
There’s a brief wobble on the actual names — Devens floats swapping Lala in for Melody at the last second, thinking it might pull Melody over to their side after the fact. The room splits on it before landing back on the original three: “In my opinion, I still like Melody on there.” Someone argues the softer read on Melody and Yash as potential future numbers, since both could plausibly jump ship once they see the trio go up — Lala’s judged a much harder sell, since she’ll likely stay loyal to Rome no matter what.
Barrett gets read in personally once he’s finally up, and Devens gives him the same rundown, word for word: Rome asked to protect only Lyric and Jason, and suggested Devens could put up Barrett, Drew, Yash, Lala, or Mallory instead without it costing him anything with Rome. Barrett’s answer is immediate: “You with me, bud?” — “Oh, yeah.”
The night winds down with Angela recounting a jittery hallway pass with Rome — swapping “hi” for “good night” mid-sentence, hands shaking — while Rome and Lyric stay up talking, unaware, and Jason sleeps through the whole thing.

4:38 am Jason and Rome
Down in the kitchen, Rome and Jason get a rare moment alone, and Jason finally hands over the secret he’s been sitting on all season. He makes Rome swear it stays contained — “you can’t tell anybody… I’ll share this with you because you are my number one” — then confirms what the house has apparently half-guessed already: he was on another television series before this, something he’s kept quiet “because of CBS.” He almost outed himself on day one before realizing nobody recognized him, until Rachel Reilly blew a hole in it during her visit: “she was like, oh my god, I know you from your series… and I was like, shut up.” He’s convinced Angela and Devens clocked that exchange and already suspect something.
From there it’s straight into math. Jason counts out loud to eight, working out whether Rome’s side can actually match Devens’ numbers if the right pieces move. The linchpin, in both of their minds, is Drew — Jason floats testing him directly, betting that if Drew reports back with real information tomorrow, “we’ll see where his loyalty line is.” They also revisit a theory that Devens, Drew, and Barrett had something going before tonight, bonding as fellow Survivor fans, which is part of why Jason doesn’t fully buy the “spontaneous” version of events. He plans to work Melody by planting suspicion of Drew directly, betting a rumored crush Drew has on her will make the wedge land harder. On Haley, the plan is pressure, not confrontation — needle her enough that Chuk eventually turns on her himself. Angela gets no benefit of the doubt at all: “I knew she’d been shady the whole time.”
The two end up mocking the Toolshed crew’s excuse for not answering the HOH door earlier — “they’re such bad liars… they all had different alibis” — before the conversation drifts to food, then closes on the line each of them keeps repeating to everyone passing by all night: “Big day tomorrow.”
Jason De Puy has a television history that predates Big Brother. Before entering the house, he competed on RuPaul’s Drag Race as the drag queen Salina EsTitties — placing sixth on Season 15 in 2023, then returning for All Stars season 11, where he was eliminated in episode 6 of the pink bracket.

6:10 am Zzzzzzzzz

6:20 am LALA is up
LALA: you
LALA: Still things to do.
LALA: Really want to try to get another hour of sleep.
LALA: In my freaking head.
LALA: Oh, in my head.
LALA: I need to get out of my head.
LALA: Get out of my head.
LALA: Be able to rest a little bit.
LALA: was just messy.
Damn now Rome better pray Lyric’s chip or his gets pulled in the Veto draw and then he wins that Veto to save himself and his girl.
If anyone but him wins the Veto he is getting backdoored and then has to win the Blockbuster or goes out second.
And there is a decent shot that he and his girl are both on the block post Veto ceremony meaning one is going for sure come Thursday. That’s crazy.
I suppose America and or production could save him by gifting him the chance to win a power. Same goes for voting for Lyric if the power ends up being something very powerful that can at least save one or both of them.
I just know production doesn’t want to lose their showmance just yet…
I don’t want to lose it either so can Melody or Jason go instead?
Chances are great that Lyric and Jason are going on the block with someone else. This cast is extremely messy. I turned on the feeds at 7 am Eastern and saw 99% of them were awake doing extreme messiness Rome’s side knows now about the other side of the House just by what they saw and didn’t see
Good. I like it when there are visible alliances. I’m not a fan of this sneaky two-faced gameplay. You have your people and you stick with them, then you win and take shots at the other side. That is Big Brother.
production definitely wants to keep a showmance around but the house is clearly divided into dee/devens’ side vs. rome/lyric’s side and whoever’s in power should target the opposite pair.
There are no backdoors with the blockbuster. It’s just a sidedoor now
Can someone tell me who exactly is on Romes side besides lyric, Jason and lala?
the house is basically devens/dee/angela/drew/barrett/chuk/kamu/haley vs. rome/lyric/melody/mallory/yash/lala/taylor/jason at this point. obviously some of these ties are stronger than others.
It’s actually Production/Taylor/Chuck/Lala/Yash vs. Everyone else
if i’m devens i probably put up melody/mallory/lyric as noms (probably targeting melody) with rome or jason as renom if one comes down.
OMG!!! Rome made it clear in pre-season he was a casual viewer of “Big Brother” and it shows. He just served Devens a gallon of sweet tea and Angela made sure Devens served it cold.
I’m happy to end the Lyme showmance and send either one home. I’ll settle for Melody going out too.
Jason might actually survive this week.
Okay.
Sorry for my frustration last night.
Lots of things go into me getting to throw my hands up and walk away state.
The Time Capsule thing in a season with stuntcasts. As I have already postulated… hive minds are easily manipulated. The fanbase doing a 180 overnight on their opinions of houseguest when the stuntcasts want to work with them was my example. Given that…who do you think gets the advantages they do not need.
The second obvious not enough chairs for everyone to have a seat at the table HOH.
First time it was oops you cannot compete when it was all newbs.
Second time it is oh you get advanced to round 2 when a stunt is involved.
And what is the stunt HOH using as raison d’etre for one or more of his noms? You tried to cut me out of the comp which made it possible for me to only play half the game and still get the reward. Pearl clutching for getting an advantage. Sounds about right.
I do not like mix stunt newb seasons. I just don’t. I get annoyed by the obvious un-leveling of the field that will inevitably play out over and over for most of the season. To say that this is not planned in development of the season is incorrect.
I will be harsh on stuntcasts. just a fact.
You’re not bothering me with your thoughts. Always appreciate them. How far will you get into the season before you get a good grasp on who the winner will be?
Burn stuntcasts
Right?
I mean we already established years ago that their contracts are not houseguest contracts, they are reality enterrtainment star contracts. I would easily venture the guess that Rachel got paiid more than all of the pre-jurors added together for a fifteen minute of episode time bit.
As someone that (whispers) doesn’t like survivor because tinfoil me can’t help but analyze every part of the show that is a bit… overproduced and overmanipulated because they are editing the whole thing knowing who is in the finals / winner (what you think they don’t know who won before reading the votes… with the cameras recording every vote?) So stuntcast houseguests are just… pampered mooks getting every advantage production can throw at them while weekly complaining about how big the target is on their backs. Waaah…my signing bonus and greater than everyone else’s stipend mean i win no matter what but everyone that isn’t sucking up to my celebutard status is out to get me…. Cry me a river.
I don’t believe for a second he was going to put up Mallory this week. IMO, he just said that a few times to see what feedback he would get to see where people land on their opinion of her and or to see if they were “yes men” to whatever he would decide; and as potential ammo to give Mallory on who said ok for her to be up if she gets an HoH.
My preferred order of eviction WAS, Angela, Dee, Jason, Devens, Melody and Rome; but clearly half of that will not happen. BUT, the other half is a different matter.
As I said elsewhere, I might have liked Devens better if Dee and Angela had not gone into the house too; but they did. And, last night/this am with what Devens was saying/dong just further proved that too me…
SO, my NEW/CURRENT preferred order for eviction is now, Angela, Dee, Jason, Melody, Rome and then Devens. Again, clearly half of that will not happen but the other half is on the table.
Devens could move further down the line for me.
