The last three days, if you have been away.
Friday — Barrett nominates all three Icons. He ran one-on-ones with the whole house in the morning, told Devens “I think you’re in pretty good shape” while planning to nominate him, and put Angela, Dee and Devens on the block that night. His stated logic was that leaving one Icon off the board hands them a free veto pull. His actual reason, given to Drew: “it would be really funny, a dream come true, if I got to put all three of the Icons up.”
Friday — and Dee told him the truth, and he binned it. In the HOH room, crying, she told Barrett the $5,000 bribe Yash took in Week 7 covers all three Icons, not just her — meaning a Yash Head of Household can only nominate Barrett, Drew, Melody and Taylor. Twenty minutes later Barrett decided she made it up. “I think she’s just lying.”
Saturday morning — the Icons pick a weapon. Angela and Dee spent an hour on the balcony and settled on one message for Barrett, repeated until it stuck: too soon. Angela: “Now it’s just vengeance at this point. Happy-go-lucky vengeance. I f—ing love it.” It worked inside three hours — Barrett was upstairs saying it back to Drew before lunch.
Saturday — Barrett leaves Drew out of the veto draw. He had the houseguest’s choice and picked Yash over Drew without explaining it. Drew went upstairs to ask whether they were still friends. He came down with a promise — if an Icon won the veto, Yash goes up as the renom — and one answer he did not enjoy. Drew: “It seems like you’ve not been completely honest with me.” Barrett: “Not about everything.”
Saturday — Yash wins the Power of Veto. BB Comics. Barrett had the times at roughly 13 and a half minutes for Yash, 14 for Devens and 17 for Dee; he, Taylor and Angela never learned where they finished. It is the second veto Yash has won.
Saturday — the five newbies make a ceasefire. Drew, Melody, Barrett, Yash and Taylor agreed not to target each other in Thursday’s expected double. Melody’s version of it is a prediction: “If the newbies can do the ceasefire correctly, it’ll be the top five.”
Overnight into Sunday — FAP hardens. Drew and Melody spent most of the night in the backyard deciding they have nobody but each other and Barrett. Drew: “I truly don’t feel like anyone’s priority. At all… I am taking your ass.” Melody told him she has been quietly vouching for him with Taylor and Yash, who do not trust him to honor the ceasefire.
Sunday morning — Barrett owns the move. Twenty minutes alone with the camera: “I may only be HOH once. So why not have a little fun? Maybe be a little bit petty in the process.” He also worked out he is the first name up for any Icon Head of Household, called it “FAP or bust,” and — without saying so — stopped treating Dee’s bribe story as a lie.
Sunday morning — Devens asks Yash for the veto. Nine minutes after Barrett finished calling his board final, Devens was outside making a case: Barrett admitted to his face he would have voted him out, so nobody in the Barrett-Drew-Melody group is trustworthy. Yash did not say no. “There’s a chance that you or Dee stays, which I’m also cool with. So I’ve thought about it.”
Sunday — and Yash turned on Drew. After the veto, upstairs, the room asked who should go and Drew immediately said Yash — with Yash in the room. “You know Game of Thrones, right? He’s Littlefinger, bro.” And then: “I would honestly rather keep the Icons than him. If I could pick someone to go, I would pick him to go.”

12:28 PM — Melody, Taylor and Barrett (Backyard)
Feeds come back on the backyard. Barrett is running laps and Melody is still fuming about the ceremony — specifically about the fact that the nominees said their piece and nobody on her side said anything back except him.
Melody: “I’m so pissed we didn’t do anything. I’m glad you did, Barrett.”
Taylor: “I knew they were gonna f—ing do that. We said that. We said, it’s literally gonna be a show, so let’s make it one.”
Taylor: “It wasn’t to be disrespectful, it was to be funny.”
Melody is not angry at the nominees. She is angry at Drew.
Melody: “No, but Drew’s f—ing a wimp, and guess what? They’re coming after you anyways.”
Melody: “Like, you’re so f—ing pathetic. Like, genuinely grow a f—ing backbone. Like, holy f—.”
“Drew’s f—ing a wimp… genuinely grow a f—ing backbone.”
— Melody
Taylor watched him take it.

Taylor: “Now he’s scared. You could see his face when he was like, we’re coming after you. He got scared as f—.”
Melody: “Yeah, he should be. Are you f—ing dumb?”
Barrett, who is the one actually being threatened, missed the whole thing.
Barrett: “Wait, what?”
Taylor: “He got scared when he started saying that they was coming after him.”
Barrett: “I don’t even remember them saying that.”
Melody: “They said it like three times. And by they, I mean Devens.”
Which does not improve her mood.
Melody: “Like, yeah — wake the f— up. God, you people are so f—ing… I’m so irritated.”
Taylor: “That’s what I was saying before. What don’t you understand?”
Taylor: “I was saying to you in the kitchen — I was like, what do you think? He’d be scared.”

1:24 PM — Drew and Melody
An hour after telling Taylor that Drew needs to grow a backbone, Melody says a version of it to his face. He opens it.
Drew: “I’m done with you being mad at me all the time.”
Melody: “I’m never mad at you.”
Drew: “That’s not true.”
Melody: “I don’t give you any reason to be mad at me.”
Drew: “I don’t think I was today either.”
Melody: “I’m not mad. It’s just like—”
Drew: “‘I’m disappointed.’ Is that what you want to say? ‘I’m not mad. I’m disappointed.’”
She gives him one line about where she actually is, and then the control room interrupts.
Melody: “I don’t have many options.”
Big Brother: “Melody, please do not obstruct your microphone.”
Drew: “I don’t understand.”
When it picks back up he has worked out what she wanted from him at the ceremony, and he is not impressed by it.
Drew: “What do you want from me? What do you want me to do — f—ing spit on them while they walk out?”
Melody: “No, I don’t want you to f—ing do that. Like, never mind, dude.”
Melody: “You don’t get it, that’s fine.”
Drew: “Can you make me get it?”
Melody: “No.”
Drew: “Why not?”
Melody: “I don’t want to.”
He names it anyway.

Drew: “You’re just mad that I didn’t want to, like, s— on them while they’re on the block.”
Melody: “Okay, so then you f—ing say that.”
Drew: “I did — and you guys were like, you’re scared.”
Melody: “If anybody else was on the block, you’d be like, yeah. All of a sudden, you’re nice.”
Which is the whole argument, and both of them know it. Drew’s defense is that the Icons were his people first.
Drew: “You have to understand too — they were always working with me. I was never in an alliance with them.”
Melody: “You were f—ing working with the Icons, though, since day one. And they told me, which is fine.”
Melody: “But you have to understand that I still don’t trust you and Barrett all the way because of that.”
Drew: “And you get that’s why I don’t want to f—ing s— on them or nothing.”
Melody: “Right. That’s fine. I still got you.”
“I still don’t trust you and Barrett all the way because of that.”
— Melody
She asks for the thing she cannot quite get, and he gives her most of it.
Melody: “You should trust me 100%.”
Drew: “If I can.”
Drew: “I know you’re taking me.”
Melody: “I mean, are you?”
Drew: “I am.”
Melody: “Can we be done here?”

And then, as always, it turns.
Drew: “I like when we’re friends.”
Drew: “We are friends.”
Melody: “And we’re allies. We promised to be better.”
Melody: “I don’t know — stop being so f—ing annoying.”
Drew: “You too.”
Then he says it, twice, because she makes him.
Drew: “I hate that I think you’re cool. I hate that I like you more than everybody else in this f—ing house.”
Melody: “Excuse me?”
Drew: “I hate that I like you more than everybody else in this house.”
Melody: “You think so?”
Drew: “Yeah, I know. I do.”

“I hate that I like you more than everybody else in this f—ing house.”
— Drew
They divide up the blame on the way out.
Drew: “It annoys me when we fight. I don’t think I’ve fought with anybody more in this house than you.”
Drew: “I’m a problem, but so are you. Do you agree?”
Melody: “Yeah.”
Drew: “You promise?”
Melody: “But you more.”
Drew: “Of course me more.”
Drew: “Loser.”
Drew: “You and me are going to be friends for so long, and it’s just so annoying.”
Where it stands: The fight is about the ceremony, but the answer underneath it is the one that matters. Drew will not kick the Icons on their way out because they were his people first, and Melody’s objection is not that he was soft — it is that being soft on them tells her exactly where he still sits. She says it plainly: she does not fully trust him or Barrett, and she never has. Then they call each other friends and allies, he tells her she is the person he likes most in the house, and they agree he is the bigger problem. Two days ago in the same yard Drew told her she is his Mallory. Since then he has frozen at a ceremony, been called a wimp behind his back, and been told to his face that his own alliance partner has never fully trusted him — and he is still, by every account including his own, taking her to the end.

5:40 PM — Melody and Yash (Backyard couch)
Four hours after telling Drew she is still taking him, Melody is on the couch with Yash agreeing that nobody is prioritizing him and it is his own fault.
Yash: “…where no one is really prioritizing him because of his own actions.”
Melody: “And with Barrett, I’m like — yeah, Barrett was doing the same thing. But Barrett took a f—ing swing and decided what to do with his game.”
Then Yash says the thing that has not been on the feeds before.
Yash: “And they don’t realize — I don’t think they realize how close we are as a four. Like, me and Barrett, too. I don’t think they realize that.”
Melody: “No, they don’t.”
“I don’t think they realize how close we are as a four. Like, me and Barrett, too.”
— Yash
The four is Taylor, Melody, Yash and Barrett. Drew is not in it.
Yash also has a read on what would have happened if he had used the veto, and it is not the one Barrett sold Drew.
Yash: “I do believe Drew would have been the renom. Right? I feel like that’s a fair thing to assume.”
Yash: “But obviously they don’t know that.”
On leaving the board alone, he is unbothered.
Yash: “We’ve been saying this since the start, bro. Get them the f— out of this game. Nothing changes now.”
Melody: “Yeah, exactly.”
Yash: “Like, I still want you guys gone. And it’s for the s— like this, bro.”
They rate the ceremony, which had props.
Yash: “What a crazy day, bro. We knew they were gonna do some s— with their speeches, too. We f—ing knew it.”
Yash: “Barrett’s funny as f—, though. Pulls out the cookie, pulls out the—”
Melody: “I’m so glad he did the mint thing, bro. I’m so f—ing happy he did that.”
Yash: “Me too.”
Melody: “…when Dee put her foot up on the couch, bro.”
Yash’s respect for how Barrett has worn the week is total.
Yash: “He’s taking it like a f—ing champ. Barrett’s my dog, bro. He knew — he didn’t f—ing whimper, none of that s—. He knew, like, f— it, bro. I respect that so much.”
And then Melody puts her own fingerprints on the board, which nobody has heard until now.
Melody: “When we talked about it, he was like — all right, I’m going to put all three of them up. And I was like, hell yeah. Because he was just going to do two.”
Melody: “And then that’s when I was like — dude, if you do that, you’re just going to piss everybody off. There’s no winning.”
Melody: “I ain’t going to say what to do. But, I mean, he knows what I want.”
Melody: “And then he stuck to it, and he’s taking it perfectly.”
“And I was like, hell yeah. Because he was just going to do two.”
— Melody
She has heard the seventh-place speech too — that is now three people it has been given to.
Melody: “It does put a huge target on his back. But he’s smart, and he loves Big Brother. He told me — I’d rather get seventh place than make it to fourth and my game was like nothing.”
Yash: “Rather than worrying about what I could have done — make the move and then keep going.”
Melody: “That’s what he said to me too. He was like, it would have sucked if I decided not to do this, and then I would have just kept thinking of what if I did.”
Yash: “And eventually, they would have done it to him.”
Then some housekeeping. It is day 63, which neither of them can quite process, and Yash has stopped tracking anything since the medieval competition.
Yash: “Once we hit the medieval time, I gave up on trying to remember, bro.”
Melody: “Later in the game, like, usually top five-ish, they’ll do—”
Yash: “That chronological order one, right? That one’s a trip, because it could be by date we traveled to, and it could also be by date in here. So they have options on what to do.”
Yash: “But what’s today, 63?”
Melody: “That’s insane.”
Yash: “63. What the hell? That’s crazy.”
And it ends on the thing Yash actually wants.
Yash: “I want the four of us at the end, bro. That s— would just make me happy either way. Regardless of what happens, any f—ing combination order, I could be happy with it.”
Melody: “Same.”
Yash: “I trust, bro. With you, I have no doubt. You’re my f—ing dog.”
Melody: “Day one, bro. We’ve been saying the same damn thing.”
Yash: “Day one. We gotta find people we can rock with.”
Melody: “God, what a f—ing journey this has been.”
Yash: “What a journey, bro. F—ing lit that we’re here, though. It’s actually so sick.”
Yash: “Let’s keep going. We got a lot of days left. Summer ain’t over yet.”
Then Yash goes to put a shirt in the wash before it starts smelling like pond water, and that is the end of it.
Where it stands: Two things here are new and both of them are about Melody. She was in the room when Barrett settled on all three Icons — and by her account Barrett was only going to nominate two until she told him a two-board pisses everyone off for nothing. “He knows what I want.” Nobody else has said that on the feeds. And four hours after telling Drew to his face that she is taking him, she is agreeing with Yash that nobody prioritizes Drew and it is his own doing. Yash, meanwhile, has a four — himself, Melody, Barrett and Taylor — that he says nobody else has clocked, and that Drew is not in. He also believes Drew, not himself, would have gone up as the renom if he had used the veto. Barrett told Drew the opposite on Saturday. Somebody in that trio is being managed, and it is not the two people on this couch.

This Week’s Veto: BB Comics
The house becomes a comic book shop for a day. Everyone is drawn as a hero or a villain, ziplines past a wall of their own covers, then rebuilds the display from memory — spotting the real ones among near-identical fakes, in order, against the clock. It has decided the veto eleven of the twelve times it has run. Every BB Comics competition since BB16 →
If Devens is eliminated this week, the situation will actually become better for Dee and Angela? They can see the true colors of Barrett while also using Barrett’s hands to eliminate their long-planned target
I’d rather Dee go 1st. She’s already won a million & Rick’s more likable & more watchable than her.
That will be Devens argument IF Angela somehow defies Prod and wins the BB. He would probably beat her on the block with that statement alone.
Unpopular opinion. I am LOVING watching Devens play this game! He’s funny. He’ also self-aware. Since he didn’t win the Survivor Million, I wouldn’t be mad if he won BB. That being said, I would rather ANYONE win other than Angela.
Im starting to believe that poor Drew is a foster child. It doesn’t seem as if he had a father in his life which would explain why he has put his hooks in Devens & chosen him as his primary guardian after nearly 7 weeks of meeting each other. Maybe this is the reason for dreading the possibility of being abandoned again, if Devens is evicted. If Devens is evicted hopefully Drew will be next so that he wont spiral & go into his dark place. Devens could take him fishing in the pond at the jury house like a real father would.
I’d rather the 3 Ds go: 1) Dee, 2) Drew, 3) Devens.
Plenty of reasons for daddy issues without having been a foster or physically abandoned. It might not even stem from emotional abandonment. Could be Drew is very enmeshed with his own dad and needs that father figure to function.
If we get the rope comp, Dee is taking this and Devens goes out. Any other unused BB comp is based on chance.
Dee is my target, but I’m inclined to watch Drew melt down over losing Devens.
Thank you YASH thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you
I’ll add one more “Thank you, YASH” to your 6 to make it a lucky total of 7!
I look forward to Yash being sent to jury.
Why?
Who do you NOT look forward to going to jury?
Yash FTW!
He sucks. He’s a bad liar and he’s weird af.
Yes, unlike Drew,Yash IS a bad liar.
Yes, unlike Drew, Yash doesn’t stab his allies in the back.
Yes, unlike Drew, Yash isn’t a coward.
Is THAT why you think Yash “sucks” & “is weird AF”?
Because, UNLIKE DREW, Yash is an honest, brave & loyal MAN!
That’s hilarious and not in a good way.
The over-acting and fake charisma in the DR is getting quite annoying with Yash. It’s HILARIOUS when Indians try to act and speak like black people.
I’m with Yash & Melody: ANY of the 4 FTW!
“Your loyalty sucks.”
Dee.
Promised her team safety week one, nominated a member of her team.
Decided with Angela mid week one that there was a big alliance meeting in an empty gym, and it was Drew leading the charge…. started targeting Drew, an alliance member.
Made alliances with every member of the house except the giggle girls week three..
Got an alliance member nominated week 4.
Was totally cool with another alliance member being nominated week 5.
Made an alliance week 6 while she was on the block, that she turned against the moment she was saved by the diamond veto.
nominated 2 alliance members week 7. Kept two non alliance members safe. Made an extortion bribe that would inevitably lead to 2 alliance members being nominees because 3 of the 5 members were covered by the deal, leaving the other 2 out in the cold.
Planned to vote out an alliance member week 8, and planned to nominate 3 alliance members week 9 if she was HOH.
Also Dee.
Did I miss something? did the definition of loyalty change?
Her attitude while on the block this week has been telling as well based on the live feeds. She has a mean girl streak.
I see it as a pompous hypocritical entitled bitch streak. But I have disliked her since night one of feeds.
I agree 100%!
That’s an understatement!
Kudos!
As always, you said what I’m thinking better than I could have said it!
even though dee should be the target. I hope devens wins blockbuster to ensure her or angela go to jury
Actually interested to see if Taylor or Melody can parlay the HOH on the double Thursday for two Icons to go but I doubt it…probably be Yosh or Barrett.
HG and people keep talking about a double Thursday. Usually they announce when a double is coming up. I didn’t hear anything on Sunday.
I didn’t, either. Maybe Grod’s gonna surprise us with one.
Maybe when the show is over daddy Devens can take pooor baby Drew on a little vacay to Disneyland and he can sit on daddy’s lap on the carousel and show him what a real family is like. PATHETIC!! seek counseling already. CREEEPYYY.
The only reason Melody is still in the game is because of Drew and the icons.
With any luck the icon leaving will be Angela.
Angela is called an “icon”! but we all know there are really only 2.
Personally, I’d rather see an actual icon go this week.
It would be an awful waste of Barrett’s HOH to evict Angela.
