Rome – I literally have zero predictions. Lyric – yeah me too. Rome – I’m glad we all get to compete at like we’re all eligible to win. Lyric – I know. Rome – the fact that it was literally like three people last time that were eligible. Lyric – Yeah. Rome – I think that’s what’s also going to be weird is we only know this game as with one person as HOH. Lyric – Yep, Yep, the power shifts right? Rome – Very much so. Lyric – but we have our first live eviction nights. That’ll be fun! Rome – it’ll be fun till it doesn’t. Lyric – I know till it’s not.
8:45pm Backyard – Jason, Mallory, Ashley, Yash, Taylor and Lala are sitting around in the backyard chatting.
9pm Lounge Room – Rick, Barrett and Angela
Angela – I’m sorry if I am looking a little paranoid, i am just happy to have somebody to just bounce ideas off of. Barrett – The thing is you almost have no reason because you know
everything that’s going on. Angela – Like yeah, but I there’s another little thing is I feel like they’re pinning, pitting kind of like me and and Lala against each other. Barrett – yeah, it’s not nice. Angela – Oh, no, it’s this is like f**king weird. Barrett – It is. Angela – have you heard anything about that? Barrett – You told me. Angela – OK. I told you. I think we both started. I didn’t know if it was from anybody else. Barrett – Nope.
no, it’s all good. Angela – I just hope a lot more things change, change up a little bit. If I had to guess, I feel like he’s (Jason) being toxic toward me. (Uh Oh CRAZY EYES is going to make an appearance! Like her fight with BB26 Matt Hardeman) Barrett – no, Jason. Angela – I feel like he is. Barrett – Oh yeah, definitely. Angela – No, it’s uncalled for. I’m grossed out. Barrett – Yeah. Angela – I can do it. I can do this. I think I’ve done worse. I’ve done, handled worse. I can do this.
Barrett – Me and Drew were talking earlier today too and I think he would like Yash as the number one option to go this week if he ends up losing the blockbuster. Angela – Same. Yeah, and I’m perfectly fine with that. Barrett – I am too. And I think we should do that but Taylor and Ashley and it’s like I’m flexible. It’s not like I am like 100 percent on Taylor over like staying over Ashley. It’s more like 60/40, you know, kind of thing. So I’m like I’m willing to play ball and I won’t be disappointed either way. I mean, it sucks to get rid of anybody, but I’m not going to sit here booing about it. I would like to do what we want to do and I feel good about that. Angela – Me too. And it would also keep us disguised as much as I think we are right now. Barrett – Yeah, for sure.
9:45pm Lounge Room – The house guest are sitting around chatting about random things.
9:58pm Bedroom – Lyric and Melody agree on the alliance name “Hotty Harmonies”
Lyric – who do you feel confident with? Melody – us four. Lyric – me too. Melody – And Jason. Lyric – yeah Jason too. Barrett. Lyric – I feel confident with him too. Melody – but I want another girl. Like Mallory would be good to have and like to tell her about like come up with a different name for like us six or whatever it is and have her on the outside. Lyric – yeah. Melody – but like no matter what happens us four are the core. Whoever wins HOH is really going to shake up this house. Lyric – I really hope its not someone from that side. Melody – Same. That would suck. Lyric – if Yash wins, who are we voting for? Taylor? To stay. Melody – it depends on the house. Lyric – yeah it does because people are going to count up the votes and see who voted where. Melody – so we have to vote with the house. Lyric – yeah. Melody – Yeah, we do. Lyric – have you talked any game with Devens? Melody shakes her head to say no. Lyric – Me either. Melody – I don’t get good vibes. Lyric – same. There’s no way he’s not in with like Angela. Melody – Oh, he is 100 percent. I know, I know I saw. I saw Roman and him playing chess all quiet for a while. Melody – I love Devin but we need to get him out right fast. Lyric – because he’s a schemer. Melody – He’s a schemer and he’s really is going to be really f**King good at comps. Lyric – You think? Melody – Yes. Did you not see him how fast he did ..you see Deven’s when he was building that puzzle for HOH. He was, he would have won way before us, but it fell, he was like, it was like he wasn’t thinking about it. He just knew. Lyric – yeah.
10:40pm – 11pm Backyard Hammock – Lyric and Mallory.
Lyric – if Yash comes down, who are we keeping? Mallory – I think Taylor. Lyric – I think so too. Mallory – its sucks because I really like Ashley. Jason thinks that she is kind of being brought into the other side. Lyric – yes. Mallory – then she’s got to go. Lyric – yes, I totally agree. Mallory – but what about Yash and Ashley? Lyric – I think we can get Yash in an alliance or something. Mallory – I kind of feel like that too. Lyric – I think he would fight for our side and he would be a good competitor. Mallory – we would have to move fast with that. It just also kind of stinks because I feel like Ashely is such not a competitive threat from the vibes I get from her. Mallory – she’s a vote, that’s the real problem. And like if you’re with the other side, then you’re against us. Lyric – yup and that’s a no, no. Mallory – I am just also thinking how Ashley is also just a person that I am not afraid to put up. Lyric – yeah. Mallory – Like if I am HOH and I need three people do I really want to do like the whole other side? Is that too bold? Lyric – nope. Mallory – like who would you put up if you had to put up three people right now? Lyric – I have no idea. Mallory – I think I would do Dee and Haley for sure. Lyric – I know Haley would put me up for sure. Mallory – I would want Haley to go.. after that I don’t know. But also like putting up Ashley would be something that kind of I feel like makes it a less direct attack but I wouldn’t want Ashley to go home. I would want it to be one of the peope that I think put me up. I had a one on one with Kamu and he said that if he was HOH he wouldn’t put me up. I don’t know if I believe it. Like then who would you put up?? Like when people say we’re good, I wouldn’t put you up.. my head is then who would you put up? Lyric – yeah. Mallory – Haley, I think would put us up. Lyric – 100, I have no doubt! Yes. Mallory – and I would put up Dee, just because of this first week. Lyric – yeah.
11:15pm – 12am HOH room – Dee and Rick
Rick – Angela is getting a little paranoid. Like, she and I had a nice little moment and she’s like, should I go talk to Lala? And I was like, she thinks so. Hey, she’s like convinced. And it’s probably true that Haley is trying to turn her and Lala against each other and its probably true.. for good TV, she’s so upset about this. Like very upset about this. Dee – How did she find out about it? Rick – She’s been talking with Haley about it and then just like getting the vibe of things. It seems like.. Dee – does she believe Haley? This is what she does? Rick – No, she doesn’t believe Haley. I think she thinks that Haley’s trying to do. And then I think she just feels like she’s getting that vibe from Lala. So she’s like, should I talk to Lala? And I was like, no, I don’t think so. I was like, I was like, just be like real cool with her. And I just look at all this stuff and I’m like we’ve got three days. Three days till the vote. IF one of us wins, we’ve got a full other week to worry. Like that fact that Chuk, Haley and Kamu are doing all this sh*t and like if its true with Jason that he’s doing all this stuff right now, that’s just ammunition for us when we need it to throw out there. Am I crazy because I thought I would have to pace myself but these people are going crazy! Dee – they’re going to hard.
Rick – it’s annoying that like the way to play is to not play. Dee – yeah. Rick – I get why it’s annoying. Dee – Yeah, yeah.
12:30am HOH room – Dee explains why she is eating using her side teeth when biting.
Dee – really trying to from the side. Because I don’t want to chip my front tooth. Because I have veneers and I’ve chipped my front tooth so many times and it’s really expensive to get it fixed. And I’m not trying to chip a tooth here week one. If I chip a tooth I think I’m leaving the house like I’m I will crash out if I chip a tooth and I have to be on camera for three months.
1am Bathroom – Lyric doing “horizontal running”..
1:40am Kitchen – Barrett and Jason..
2:55am Most the the house guests are now sleeping… Melody is one of the last ones still up but getting ready for bed in the bathroom..

Right out of the gate….you need to get rid of the toxic bully witch Angela, …drown Ashley. She is only there for tv, I mean, Gag me with a spoon,. Tell Jason to stop saying LIKE, he sounds like a valley girl. Tell Dee to start using her brain. You are not that smart here. Get rid of the waste of time Blockbusters. All they do is hinder game play. Tell Chinbot she doesn’t need to consume that much wine to act happy and excited about the mess the producers have made of a game that once was interesting and fun to watch. And last but not least…put some intelligent, interesting, game players on this show….please.

BB’s got damn good mics. At least for whatever reason they’re easier for me to watch than Riley and Catherine last year. I fear Lyric is going to ruin her game similar to Catherine, and Rome watering down his game like Riley.
I forgot to mention that I also find Lyrics little girl act around Rome, almost unbearable.

Do you really miss the people in the comments who used to make all kinds of racist and discriminatory remarks in previous seasons? If karma exists, they’ve probably already paid the price.

Dee and Devens last night…Those two are truly playing at a different level. Everybody else seems to be in the minor leagues so far. For my personal entertainment, I need both of them to go far in the game.
Side note: I know there’s a lot of Rachel haters out there, but she 100% would’ve made this season better. Far more than Angela. And yes, I am well aware that she can be an extremely annoying human.
Does anybody else think she’ll be back? Her exit was just much too scripted for me. It seems hokey.

Angela is having Angela brain day ideas. Paranoia level… pre-splosion.
In her current state she has come to believe the entire house secretly has an alliance whose only goal is to get rid of Angela, Dee and Devens.
Sideye (I would applaud such initiative if this were true because it would show that the houseguests each ACTUALLY want to make jury stage without 3 places being presumed saved for stuntcasts). This is not the case.
Angela has taken her whackadoodle to Dee.
Dee and Angela watched the gym door on the spy screen, convinced there was a secret alliance meeting in the gym… which was empty.

Don’t care who leaves. Sorry. None of the noms really seem to have much interest for me in terms of strategic value or strategic intent.
Dee has promised all three nominees they are safe. Actually her committal with Yash was a contingency committal. IF you swear not to target or nominate me then IF there is a tie… I would vote to keep you.
CONTINGENCY LOOPHOLES
If he wins Blockbuster he doesn’t have to honor the deal because there wasn’t a tie vote that she broke.
If he gets the votes to stay without a tie, he doesn’t have to honor the deal because there was no tie vote that she broke.
If there is a tie, and if she breaks it in his favor, he is still free to bounce the check because he knows she promised him safety during HOH, then broke her word and nominated him… so the promise should not have been necessary except for her already broken word.
Technically, I’ve always believed a promise made through coercion in big brother is a check you can bounce. It wasn’t a deal made by two equals. It was a give me your wallet or i will shoot you type transaction. It does not mean the deal is a binding partnership, it means one person exerted power and control over another to get what they wanted. Bounce the check all you want on a deal like that. Especially if you, the person having to swear, was already promised safety during the HOH comp, and then nominated. You as the person in danger already know that her word is no good. The promise is invalid based on her word being no good. Dee told her team during HOH they were safe, then nominated a team member, breaking her word. She created the danger to his bblife, then asked him to swear not to come after her in exchange for ending the danger. Is that coercion or extortion? dunno, but…. shrugs.
Thought:
It’s week one. Has anyone ever just grabbed someone that already appears to be on the “other side” and said ‘hey, we aren’t in an alliance, and I’m not saying let’s align…. but how about for this week we compare notes on the campaigns we hear from the noms just to see if any of them are blowing smoke up our asses and bullshitting everyone in their campaigns?’ Such note comparison would probably blow Yash out of the water. Not sure about Taylor. Don’t think Ashley’s campaigns are… she does not seem to have a game oriented campaign is what i’m saying.
