Big Brother 28’s first week delivered nonstop chaos as Head of Household Dee navigated a messy renom situation, ultimately landing on Ashley after Mallory won the Veto. Ashley’s attempt to stir up paranoia at the vets’ coaching backfired badly, turning her into the house’s top target. The season also introduced the BB Time Capsule twist, a fan-voted power and punishment competition running through Week 7.

Living Room – Haley and Ashely
Haley tells Ashley not to tell Melody anything and tells her that she can’t trust her.
Haley – Moving forward do not name people like that again. Ashley – I know. Just so that you do know for peace of mind. I don’t think that Melody went and told anybody. Haley – Melody went and told Drew this morning. Ashley – about what? Haley – that you went around talk about all this and about how you were all safe. Ashley – just safe. That I have the votes and it would be good to save me. That’s what you do when you campaign. I think I have these votes. Haley – but you should not have named names. The names are the only problem because that’s a clear divide between everybody. Its very clear its Rome, its Jason, its Taylor, its Melody, its Lyric, its Mallory. That’s very very clear divide. Ashley – but to be very honest, I got advice to do that. This was not my plan. Haley – from who? Ashley – girl, can I tell you!? I am just mad because I’ve had a target on my back since the second day.

8:30pm Upper Level – Drew, Dee, Barrett and Ashley
Ashley – Okay. So confirm the strategy. Lala, Jason, where you go to the whole trio of melody, Mallory Lyric, and then say, basically, hey, guys like I get you’re gonna keep your allegiance to Taylor, like I totally respect that. But if it does come down to Yash, I want you guys to know, like, yes, I’m hearing things on the other side of the house, like they are going to get against Taylor and.. Drew – play the girl card. We’re girls. We should stick together. Ashley – Yeah. Drew – we don’t want boys when this game. They’re playing back all the time. They feel so safe. Ashley – so basically, like, I’m just, I’m putting in on that Yash is a part of the others out of the house. …Yeah, guys naming a name would be risky to be like, oh, who are you hearing it from? I do just have to be prepared for that because that is so scary but I do want to create so much paranoia with them, yeah, you’re right. Drew – that is going to be your biggest weapon. Because like they’re already talking about each other but if you confirm it.. and then they’re gonna spiral.

9pm Lounge Room – Rick, Barrett and Angela
Angela – I’m sorry if I am looking a little paranoid, i am just happy to have somebody to just bounce ideas off of. Barrett – The thing is you almost have no reason because you know
everything that’s going on. Angela – Like yeah, but I there’s another little thing is I feel like they’re pinning, pitting kind of like me and and Lala against each other. Barrett – yeah, it’s not nice. Angela – Oh, no, it’s this is like f**king weird. Barrett – It is. Angela – have you heard anything about that? Barrett – You told me. Angela – OK. I told you. I think we both started. I didn’t know if it was from anybody else. Barrett – Nope.
no, it’s all good. Angela – I just hope a lot more things change, change up a little bit. If I had to guess, I feel like he’s (Jason) being toxic toward me. Barrett – no, Jason. Angela – I feel like he is. Barrett – Oh yeah, definitely. Angela – No, it’s uncalled for. I’m grossed out. Barrett – Yeah.

6:15pm Gym – LaTrice, Rome and Jason – “Mama’s Angels” alliance
Jason – We want to try and blindside Haley. LaTrice – YES! YES! Jason – I was plotting this last night. So last night Chuk and Haley were in the havenot room when we were out in the BBQ all having fun. Dee low key has a crush on Kamu. Rome joins them. There’s a lot I don’t trust about Yash. I think there is too much lying and deception happening with him. LaTrice – That’s what Taylor said. His stories keep changing. Rome – Like I like him a lot and I want to trust him but he keeps changing narratives and now he is scrambling to find an alliance that is going to be votes for him. I don’t trust Haley. I don’t trust Ashley. I don’t trust Chuk. I like Kamu. Jason – I think without the head of the snake, Kamu is the free agent. LaTrice – and I think Kamu would definitely come over with me. Rome – I was talking with Dee, and she wasn’t giving me a whole lot but the big thing she was saying, or I told her, because I want to be honest with her. I want to build some rapport with her, and I told her I was like, hey, just so you know, a lot of the house sees you kind of merging in with Chuk Haley and Kamu.

12:25pm Bedroom – Rome and Yash
Yash – All five of us F**k with all five of us. So us five would be the core of it that like is actively renowned to the alliance. And Taylor would have Mallory automatically. The reason that she doesn’t want to outwardly include Lala is because one time she said something to Lala and Lala.. Rome – can we outwardly like get Lyric in or no? Yash – Taylor said I don’t think we should. I am okay with her or not .. I think its like actively getting her in is like establishing a relationship but we always keep them in the loop. Rome – I would rather you actively keep her in and keep me on the outside. Yash – why? Rome – because that way I know she is more safe. Yash – I think you being in keeps her safe with us. Rome – but I am in, you know what I’m saying. Yash – I feel like we need you in that. Rome – I am in .. but I would also prefer if she was in as well. I think Haley has a target on her back. Yash – okay. Rome – So I need her to be not on the outskirts of something… Inside of something. Yash – yeah I probably worded that bad, because I thought the same thing because I asked Taylor we have Lyric.

7:45pm Bedroom – Jason and Yash
Jason – The girls have such a hard time bonding. Yash – I know. Jason – And I am like, its like for one, like you don’t have y’all can just chill.. They talk about Lyric. Jason – she is scared about the target with her and Rome. So she is trying to like .. she was scared that Mallory was the target so she wasn’t with Mallory. Yash – yeah. Jason – I feel like she feels lost. Yash – when I talked to Dee, Dee told me that Mallory was the target. 1000%! Jason – I had that feeling too. Yash – I had a good talk with Dee. It was the first like hard conversation to have. And that’s as much as I trust the relationships that I do have in the house .. its you don’t want it coming down to a vote. Jason – a replacement nom, that is going to change everything. Because if its someone.. then BOOM we’re good, you know what I mean? Even if its like you or Taylor win Block Buster, we’re good. Yash – it would hurt to be up next to Taylor .. like it would genuinely hurt. Jason – I think for a lot of us ..like low key. It would hurt for me to see it.
