Angela Is Evicted — the First Icon to Go
Angela is the second member of the Big Brother 28 jury, joining Lala, who went out last Thursday as the first. From here every eviction adds a vote to the panel that decides the winner, and the jurors sit in sequestration watching competition and ceremony footage — no feeds, no Diary Rooms, no strategy talk — forming their opinions on incomplete information. Which means the people still playing are now campaigning to two audiences at once: the five in the house who vote them out, and the two outside it who vote for the win. What Julie announced for the rest of the season
- Next week’s veto is the Pressure Cooker — the endurance competition where houseguests stand in a confined space until only one is left. This will happen on Saturday September 12
- The week after that is a double eviction — two houseguests gone in one hour. How a double night actually works. September 17
- Then a special eviction episode, format not yet described.
- Then the three-part final Head of Household, which means the finale is now in sight.
Angela becomes the first reality TV vet evicted. All because the newbies wanted to have “BIG FUN” and keep both “Survivor” players around to come after Barrett and Drew. Are they idiots or do they not know Finale Night is coming up in 3 weeks? They do know Devens and Dee are better comp threats than Angela, right?
Angela played a much better game than she did two years ago. She kept good relationships with most people in the house, she saved her blowups with HGs who were already disliked or big targets, and was aligned with allies who won power early on kept her paranoia mostly in check.
In this case, the house evicted her because they thought she would survive future evictions against almost everyone left. But they were better off waiting until Final 5 or Final 4 to do this.
I look forward to seeing Angela play on other reality TV comp shows — perhaps “Traitors”?
My Top 3 targets going into Week 10 are still Yash, Dee, and Devens.

Yash and Taylor evicted Angela because they were paid a bonus to do so.

My top 4 targets in order are: 1) Dee, 2) Drew, 3) Devens, 4) Melody.
Then leave it up to Yash, Barrett & Taylor to battle each other for the final 3-part HOH.
Winner evicts one & battles the other for the 7 jury votes.
THAT should be worth watching.
At this point I couldn’t care less who goes or when. It’s so obvious the whole game is steered by production, it’s no longer a game.
Nobody in their right mind would keep Dee over Angela. That benefits nobody but Devens. They were clearly told to vote out Angela, and they did what they were told.
I fully expect to see Yash win the next HOH and he’ll be “forced” to put up Barrett, Drew and Melody. He’ll probably go in the next eviction, which will most likely be the second one of the night in a double eviction episode.
He’ll deserve what he gets too, but you can’t really blame him since he’s following the orders of his boss.
So… is Rachel Reilly really gonna be the one to win both Survivor and Big Brother?!
At this point I am so over this BS season I would look forward to seeing the overbearingly annoying Rachel Reilly back in the house.
I would trade Rachel for Dee & Angela straight up.

Out of curiosity…how would it be rigged? Were they like, hey Dee and Angela…stand there and flip around your pieces while you let Devens complete his puzzle?
Yes, and the vote is rigged. There is no logical explanation for Taylor and Yash to flip and save Dee unless they were paid to by production. There has always been manipulation by production that has clearly gotten worse each season to the point where this season is almost entirely scripted. We already know the winner, the only question is the order of the others evictions.
Even tho it sure looks like you’re right, I’m still hoping that Dee & Devens both end up in jury. Anyone EXCEPT a survivor for the win!
There is plenty of logic to their votes. They were a two vs three. Also both Dee and Devins are huge targets over them. I would have done the same

Well, at least Angela is gone. That’s a plus. Seriously thought she would never shut up and walk out the door. I was really hoping Dee would go, however. Glad Devens is sticking around for another week. When targeted again he needs to hammer home the point Dee is a bigger threat than him.
He has won two blockbusters now. Dee is a dodo bird. She can’t win a mental or puzzle comp it seems. Now we gotta keep listening to her “mad latina” bs smdh.

When the noms have more d/r than the HOH you must note it. Devens got the most d/r for the week. Dee right behind. In fact…. FAP with HOH have not gotten the most d/r for 2 weeks now. Last week jumped Yash huge and Barrett. They were on par with the survivor stunts… all of whom edged out Drew in terms of d/r count. THIS week’s HOH got third highest d/r behind of course… the survivor stunts.
D/R IS MAKING IT VERY OBVIOUS THIS IS THE SURVIVOR STUNTCASTS ARE THE SEASON VOICES> LOOK AT THE BIG DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THEM AND THE THIRD TIER. THERE IS AN ENTIRE EMPTY TIER IN THERE.
iT HAS BEEN OBVIOUS FOR WEEKS ANGELA WAS NOT A VOICE OF THE SEASON.

Calling it now, just like I have from the very beginning: Dee and Devens are locked for the Top 3, and Devens is easily taking home America’s Favorite Houseguest. Tonight completely sealed the deal.Taylor can’t win a comp to save her life, and Melody is right behind her—both are just expecting to be dragged to the Final 2. Yash is blind if he doesn’t see that D&D are just using him to take out Barrett. He is seriously underestimating Devens’ loyalty to Drew. Honestly, Melody is sitting pretty because Drew has her back, Devens will respect that, and Dee knows Melody plays with emotion instead of strategy.The writing is on the wall for the double eviction: Devens will happily cut Yash loose to keep Drew happy and on a leash. Next up will be Taylor—she thinks smart, but she doesn’t play smart. In the end, it’s going to be exactly what it was always meant to be: Drew, Barrett ,and Melody vs. Devens and Dee. Anyone not seeing that? If so, why? Sigh.
I,for one, am not seeing that.
Why? Because I’m hoping for an integrated finale.

IT is the pole on the button comp (Leah and Vince won this comp in the past 2 seasons).
Timing for this comp varies greatly. For Leah is was, I believe, an almost overnight comp.
For Vince and Keanu I don’t think it was even half that.
IN BOTH CASES IT WAS CALLED AN ENDURANCE HOH COMP.

Any choice was crap. Keeping Dee for me is the crappiest. She’s so over the top on the ugly. I’m not a fan of that play. But oh well crap. I’m staying addicted. It is my summer vice. Sadly also my summer damnit! I’m a little boo.
PS- Dee is cutthroat no doubt. She isn’t ( nor does she apologize for being so) likable but many of the winners if BB are not. Yash and Taylor just made huge mistake, Yash said he wanted one of the ” icons” out then he voted for one to stay believing Dee will shield him. Barrett great move but didn’t put in the work to make sure everyone was on the same page with him.Barrett seems checked out imo. Drew does his standard behavior: tell Devens everything and be whatever the group needs me to be to their face. D&D just won the game.
how dumb is this cast to take out angela? sure, she’s probably the worst vet to sit next to at the end, but her track record on comps means you can probably pretty safely take her all the way to final 3.
That was the dumbest move to keep Dee. Devens and Dee will win it all. Yash and Taylor are dumb for keeping Dee.
to me it just makes no sense to not evict the best player. and she is so cocky and rude. would be easy to root for if not for this.

looked back. first time they did the hold a button with a pole type comp (the one they borrowed from survivor), was OTT. I think it was used once more. I seem to remember (but could be very wrong) season 19 had a stick holding a red button comp. Don’t quote me on that. Both were, again, HOH comps if memory serves.

Angela went home because Devens and Dee are playing the game. Angela didn’t even try to get votes by campaigning. Instead was more interested in Drew and Melody sex life..

Just dumb. Get out the strongest players PERIOD! The shield works earlier in the game. Yash can’t put up The icons so he has to really on Taylor now. Dee needed to go now it’s a sure thing she wins.

The Taylor spot can easily be taken by Melody in the who is she spot (according to game and edit).
Yash knew the double was coming at final 6 last week when talking to Taylor and Devens. Taylor brought it up that everyone was wrong about Tonight being the double, because at 6 everyone is playing veto anyway, so they would no longer have block buster, and that would mean 2 noms which works for a double.
So. Why would he choose to win THIS HOH? Something doesn’t Feel right. Your thoughts?
These survivior people have played the best game this show has ever seen. There has been no player or group of players that have matched the absolute DOMINANCE they have had for EVERY SINGLE WEEK. And the opposition stood no chance.
Every week has fallen in their favor, even Angela leaving was in their favor (not the best outcome for them, but not the worst either as they’re still in the house).
This is historically, or one of the most rigged seasons production has ever influenced. If it is the latter the funniest part is its so obvious how rigged they made it. One sided time capsule wins, the BlockBuster somehow lasting this into the game, Drew’s unrelienting loyality to the Icons even after Dee nominated him and STILL throwing him under the bus afterwards.
Regardless this show has become predictable. Yash will send a non-icon home this week. Dee or Devens will be the final two. And one of them wins the show.
anyone else cringe and just yell at the tv “just leave angela” as she would not shut up after being evicted? everytime she speaks I get hives. her husband she go into hiding. what a nightmare.
