The Pressure Cooker is today. Big Brother has run it twice in twenty-six seasons and it was the longest competition in the show’s history both times — close to fourteen hours, standing on a button. Yash won Thursday’s HOH, honored the bribe that keeps Dee and Devens off the block, and nominated the only three people the deal left him: Drew, Melody and Barrett. That is the whole of FAP sitting on the block together, and today one of them can take himself off.
- Head of Household: Yash
- Nominees: Drew, Melody and Barrett
- Off the block: Dee and Devens, protected by the bribe deal Yash confirmed on the feeds Friday, and Taylor
- Today: the Power of Veto — the Pressure Cooker
- Thursday: three on the block means a BB Blockbuster before the vote
Melody spent Friday night braced for it, telling Drew she is worried the house would keep Barrett over her. Drew is convinced he is the target and says it does not matter if he wins: “We’re going to stay this week. Manifest it!” Barrett hugged her after the ceremony and said, “We did it!” — which, for three people who just got nominated together, is one way to look at it.

4:00 am
Not that I am complaining but contemporary BB players are not the night owls like we’ve had in the past.

8:00 am – 8:53 am Houseguest waking up

9:48 AM — Devens and Dee (Backyard)
The draw went the Icons’ way. Both of them are in it.
Devens: “We’re both playing in a veto. Better circumstances this week.”
Dee: “I already forgot what our veto was.”
Devens: “BB Comics.”
Dee: “Oh yeah. Hello. How could I forget that. I already went up to the balcony yesterday.”
Devens: “What do you mean?”
Dee: “You know how I said I didn’t want to go up there alone?”
Devens: “Oh yeah, I saw you up there last night and I was like, oh, she didn’t tell me. I guess she just wants to be alone.”
Devens started to tell her something about what happens when people are evicted. The feeds cut before he finished.
Back up, and they are war-gaming the prizes.
Devens: “So if it’s prize-punishment, I can just take a prize, right?”
Dee: “Dude, I thought that yesterday. They put 15K in front of me, I’m taking that thing real quick.”
Devens: “And if I have like a leotard punishment and you have 15K, like, yeah, no problem, just take it from you.”
Dee: “Oh damn.”
Devens: “Because I think you would love the leotard punishment. You want to experience every part of the game.”
Devens: “I want a vacation. I want money.”
Dee: “Yeah, I want a vacation.”
Dee: “I’m not spending the last three weeks suffering unless it was for one of us.”
Devens: “If someone gets to watch a movie, I need you to know, I have to be there.”
Dee: “Oh, if it’s a movie? Yeah, yeah. I mean, of course.”
Which reminds Devens of Melody.

Devens: “Last week or the week before, Melody was like, if it’s the Hunger Games, I have to be there, guys. It’s like, Melody, I don’t think you want it that much more than everyone else. You need to calm down. I would not get your hopes up.”
Dee: “Usually around this time they do a movie, right? Or something.”
Taylor is the one not playing, which makes her the host.
Devens: “I wonder if Taylor will really get to host, or if she’s getting her hopes up.”
Devens: “I kind of hope there’s a guest. It’s been since medieval times.”
Dee: “I just want to see somebody from the outside world.”
Devens: “It is fun seeing people.”
Devens: “It’s got to be like an older player. Janelle for a veto would make perfect sense. She’s like the veto queen.”
Devens: “If I could pick any former BB person to come in and host this, it would be Cirie Fields.”
Dee: “Are you being sarcastic?”
Devens: “No, I’m being 100 percent genuine. I would love to see Cirie. I would be surprised if she wasn’t here at all this season.”
They compare mosquito bites from the night before, and Devens walks through his morning.
Devens: “It was clear no one was getting up. I was like, fine, I’ll go back to bed. And then I waited for like two wakey wakeys and got up again, but Barrett was still laying down.”
Drew and Melody join them and the game drops out entirely. Big Brother 7, Chill Town, Operation Double Date, Chicken George — Drew turns out to know the classic seasons cold. Devens started watching at season seven, one summer home from university.

Remembers storyline mini premonition.
Looks at Veto draw.
Sideyes.
mmhmmm. Guess they couldn’t find a sniper.
Then gamebrain tinfoil says:
what people thought a stuntcast was sitting out of an advertised spotlight endurance comp veto? Have they met Grod? I mean they pulled out the Kelly Mystery Veto 2 minute circle puzzle for a block buster because the survivors have done that kind of puzzle on every season of survivor multiple times….. they started the season with a fire making puzzle HOH. Recognize. Everything done this season is done for the benefit of the survivors.
So what makes the most sense for the survivors to happen this week? Maybe we should just ask that every week. Pretend we are in the storyline editor and writer’s meeting.
It took about 2 hours past nominations before one of the stuntcasts talked to the other about abandoning the deal with Yash and targeting him next. Anyone that thought this time they’ll show the loyalty they preach they have… really?
Yash telling Taylor that his preferred boot order is Barrett then Drew then Melody. Well he said the thing. What has happened every week when the HOH has said the thing? EXACTLY. Sideye.
Taylor host veto ..Purr..fect …lol.. Love it… She was the only person who could have created a situation where Dee or Devens could go up. Let the games begin..
Exactly. Lol
drew for veto, devens for blockbuster, dee for crying in jury with angela. make it happen.
Well Drew CAN win Veto, but if he does and uses it on himself (or either of the other two for that matter), it will be Taylor going up, due to the rules of the bribe. That means Devens won’t be playing in the blockbuster and Dee won’t be on the block to be voted out.
Not that these imbeciles would vote her out anyway if she was, or should I say they wouldn’t be allowed to vote her out by you know who.
