Saturday morning on the Big Brother 28 feeds and Taylor decided she was done waiting. She walked into the HOH room, sat down in front of Dee and Angela, and asked them straight out why she is on the block — then did the same thing to Melody in the backyard an hour later. In between, Devens spent fifteen minutes alone in the gym talking to the camera about every single person left in the house, and let slip that Dee has finally spent the BB Bribe. Veto players are picked and the comp is still to come, with Angela and Barrett drawn alongside the noms and Mallory hosting.

Where the week stands: Dee is HOH for the second time and nominated Lala, Taylor and Drew on Friday. Veto players are the three noms plus Dee, Angela and Barrett, with Mallory hosting. The comp had not been played when the feeds cut.

Taylor went and asked: Rather than wait for the veto, she walked into the HOH room and put it to both of them at once — was she nominated for being tied to Lala, for the lies going around, or because she and Haley had got friendly. Angela’s answer was that it is not her HOH, but that she would have nominated Taylor too.

Dee’s reason is one name: She told Taylor she nominated her for conspiring against her while she was on the block, then narrowed the source down in front of everyone — “it’s probably just Drew. That’s why I put him up.”

Lala got cleared, sort of: Asked point blank whether Lala had ever said her name, Taylor swore she had not — that Lala only ever said “Icons”, and that what she actually meant by it was Devens. Angela said she wanted it put to rest.

The BB Bribe is spent: Devens said out loud on camera that Dee used it on Yash, and that the terms are that if Yash wins the next HOH he cannot nominate Devens, Dee or Angela. That is why the Icons do not want Yash going anywhere yet.

Devens has both outcomes planned: If the noms hold he wants Taylor out, on the grounds that he does not want her vote in the jury. If the veto is used he wants Mallory up as the renom and then evicted, which he knows would end the Mosh Pit on the spot.

Haley missed the whole thing: She spent the confrontation lying on the HOH bed in headphones, laughing at one track and crying at another, and only found out what had happened after Taylor left. “I missed it. Sorry.”

Where the split is: Taylor’s whole defence is that campaigning to keep Kamu was never the same thing as plotting against Angela, and Melody agrees with her word for word. Dee and Angela have heard the same argument twice now and still have three people on the block. Whether Taylor’s case survives depends entirely on whether that veto comes off the wall.

9:40 am Feeds return after 30 minutes of pound puppies.

The veto players have been picked. Angela and Barrett were picked for Veto and Mallory is the host.

Outside the houseguests are playing pool and chit chatting.

Angela sits on the HOH bed explaining to Taylor that the nominations were Dee's call, not hers

9:46 AM — Dee, Angela, Haley and then Taylor (HOH)

Dee: “Oh, I love being in bed.”
Dee: “Everyone shut up. My favourite show is on.”

Dee is watching the HOH spy screen.

Dee: “I can’t wait to watch our season.”

Dee: “Did she ever do the dishes?”
Angela: “Not really.”
Dee: “Is it for Lala or something?”
Angela: “Uh, don’t know.”
Dee: “I’ve never seen that happen in seven weeks. Also, I haven’t done it in a while either. Now that I think about it.”
Angela: “Well, they told her to stay in the kitchen. So that’s what she’s been doing.”
Angela: “She told me upstairs today that Yash and Taylor told her to stay in the kitchen and just do her thing in there.”

Dee: “Are you serious? That’s kind of like…”
Angela: “I said, wow, that’s kind of messed up. And she goes, yeah.”
Angela: “She just followed whatever anybody told her to do.”
Dee: “If somebody told me that, I’d do the opposite.”
Angela: “She never knew this show before she was coming.”
Dee: “Yeah, but me either.”
Angela: “She had to watch it and watch as many things as she could before she came.”

Angela: “So I just don’t think she really gets — do you know what I mean? I think she watched a lot of the games. I don’t think she really gets it socially. It’s been really hard on her for that reason.”
Dee: “It is super intense here.”
Angela: “Definitely is.”
Dee: “How many have-nots are there?”
Angela: “Three, right?”
Dee: “I can’t believe I’ve barely been to the backyard. I gotta go outside later.”
Angela: “I know, get some sunshine on you.”

Dee: “Have you talked to Taylor?”
Angela: “Nope.”
Angela: “I feel like she’s going to have to tell me the truth. Just be honest.”
Dee: “Oh, yeah, I agree.”
Angela: “You know, just be honest with us about it. I think it’s going to take a minute for her to do it. Lala doesn’t want to be honest about it.”
Angela: “But Taylor, she may be honest about it. Because it makes sense to say it anyway. It just does. So just own up to it.”

Haley lies on the HOH bed wearing headphones, missing the entire confrontation happening beside her

Taylor appears on the HOH spy screen, heading upstairs.

Angela: “Oh, she’s probably coming up to see you. We just got done saying it. Now look at this.”
Angela: “This is so freaking uncomfortable. Oh, God.”
Dee: “I’m going to lock my door and not talk to anyone.”
Dee: “Come in.”

Dee: “What’s up? Oh, we’re just chilling, feel free to chill. How are you holding up with the have-not stuff?”
Taylor: “It’s all right. The bed’s not too bad any more because of the padding stuff. So it’s not too bad.”
Dee: “Yeah, they did a good job with it.”
Taylor: “I do have a question for you, Miss Angela.”
Angela: “For me?”
Taylor: “Mm-hmm. And both of y’all.”
Dee: “Both me and Angela?”

Taylor: “Did you guys put me up because I’m associated with Lala, because you guys believe the lies, or because me and Haley got cool last week?”

“Did you guys put me up because I’m associated with Lala, because you guys believe the lies, or because me and Haley got cool last week?”

— Taylor

Angela: “So, number one, I’m not the HOH. Just like you told me of Lala and Yash — of you — not to associate you with the noms.”
Angela: “Should I associate you for me going up, because you were associated with Yash? Exactly. It’s her HOH, not mine.”

Haley, still on the bed with her headphones on, laughs at whatever she is listening to.

Haley: “This is so sad.”

“This is so sad.”

— Haley, who has not heard a word of it

Dee watches the HOH spy screen from bed as Taylor climbs the stairs toward the HOH room

Angela: “I’m telling you the 100% truth right now. It’s her HOH, not mine.”
Angela: “But if I had HOH, I probably would have put you up, because you did say my name. And I heard it from multiple people.”
Taylor: “Who said, in what context?”
Angela: “In lots of, lots of talks. So just because of that — because if somebody says your name in here, then usually that means you’re going to probably be going home, or going home soon. And Yash already put me up.”
Angela: “And I was like, just like you’re thinking I’m with her as far as making the decisions. It’s her HOH.”
Angela: “But if I had gotten HOH, I probably also would have put you up because of that. Just like you would put me up if I had said your name.”
Taylor: “But I didn’t say your name.”

Taylor: “I think yesterday proved a lot of the fact that people were lying on me.”
Angela: “And then to answer your second question, I’m always going to only be honest with everybody in this house about it. I did question Haley. Like, that’s interesting that you guys are, like, talking all of a sudden.”
Angela: “I didn’t read much too much into it, but I wanted to know. I asked her and she goes, oh, we’re just cool like that. Never asked her again.”
Angela: “I don’t even care. I just was curious, because you two clearly had — you know. But if you make up in here, because you kind of do sometimes with people, because we live in close quarters. I just was curious. That’s it. I don’t read anything more into it. I don’t care.”
Taylor: “Okay.”

Angela sits on the HOH bed explaining to Taylor that the nominations were Dee's call, not hers

Dee: “And I put you up because when I was a nom, I heard that you were trying to get me out of the game.”
Angela: “I heard that too.”
Taylor: “How can I say the same thing about both of y’all?”
Dee: “I don’t understand the question.”
Taylor: “I’m saying it’s rhetorical. I can’t say the same thing about both of y’all.”
Dee: “But what does Angela have to do with anything? She’s not even an HOH.”

Taylor: “I’m just saying, Angela just said that I said I wanted her out this week. I don’t know.”
Dee: “Angela, whatever you’re saying, that’s you.”
Taylor: “I’m just saying, Angela said I wanted her out last week. You’re saying I wanted you out last week.”
Dee: “Okay, what Angela’s saying, that’s separate from me.”
Taylor: “That’s not consistent. That’s not even — y’all know I’m very consistent.”
Dee: “But it kind of is, though, because we are both on the block.”

The feeds flip and come back with Taylor still going.

Taylor: “Everyone was saying, we don’t want Angela to leave.”
Taylor: “The ideal thing last week — ideal to what was going on, context — was Kamu wins, Haley didn’t have the votes to stay, because she was already under the impression that she didn’t, and then you still stay. That’s what the conversations were.”
Taylor: “You were never in the conversations, because when you two were up on the block, you two were my alliance members.”
Taylor: “So once again, it went back to Haley possibly leaving, because she was already in the mindset of leaving.”
Taylor: “And then, if it came down to Haley winning the Blockbuster, people were saying, well, if Angela and Dee are up there, the best competitor goes home, which is Dee.”

Taylor: “That’s game talk. That’s not plotting. That’s just people talking.”
Taylor: “So that means people aren’t telling you the truth. And I’m not the one that was saying it. I’m the one that was just listening and in the conversations.”
Taylor: “But I just wanted to see if that was the issue, because me and Haley were cool. And I told you that.”
Angela: “And I had nothing to do — this is her HOH. And Haley has never said anything bad about you either.”
Angela: “You did not want me to link you with Lala, even though you were up here with her all the time. And you did not want me to link you with Yash. And so I disassociated that, because you were like, no, pretty much.”
Angela: “I even went down there and I asked you — did you have anything, could you do anything?”

Taylor: “And I said, I can’t. I said, you were not even a thought for him to go up.”
Taylor: “And then he said that he was only putting Dee up because she put him up. It was just easy.”
Taylor: “He told me he put you up because Chuk had lied on him already about putting you up. So at that point, he felt like you would put him up.”
Taylor: “I told him to put Drew up. If you want to know what I told him to do.”

Haley is lying on the HOH bed with headphones on, crying at whatever she is listening to.

Taylor: “I’m sorry, Haley. I don’t know why she’s crying.”
Dee: “I don’t think she can hear you. It’s a new album.”
Haley: “What did you say?”
Taylor: “Nothing. You’re so pretty.”
Haley: “Thanks. That song really made me cry.”

Angela sits on the HOH bed explaining to Taylor that the nominations were Dee's call, not hers

Angela: “And quite honestly, I already knew. Like, I told everyone in here — anytime you are returning and there’s other people that haven’t returned, it would stand to reason, and I would be on the same page too if I were in anybody else’s shoes other than my own, that, oh my gosh, easy enough to think of, she’s already been here before. Get rid of her.”
Angela: “I never was perfect in this game. I’m just a polarizing person to come back in, for no other reason. Not competitive, not strategist, none of those things. So if you watch my season, you would know that.”
Angela: “And so I think that’s the only reason why I got to come back is because I was maybe a crowd pleaser, a crowd favorite or something like that.”
Taylor: “You were mine.”

“I’m just a polarizing person to come back in, for no other reason. Not competitive, not strategist, none of those things.”

— Angela

Angela: “But outside of that, I just want to be here like you guys do. But I would never hold it against you guys for saying it. Plotting it is a different story.”
Angela: “Definitely gunning for her, but in rooms and things and people are getting rallied, like, yeah, we could do that. But, like, really plotting to get rid of me — that would probably make me sad and not very happy about it. But I’m not mad at you for it.”
Angela: “If you were a part of those conversations, or anybody else for that matter, I’m really not. But just when your name does get put out there and people are saying you are directly saying my name — then that kind of would make me want to put somebody up for that.”

Taylor sits on the HOH room floor facing Dee and Angela on the bed during the Saturday morning confrontation

Angela: “Well, let me ask you this, Taylor. Just with whole honesty, and I really don’t care. Let me just break the tie here. Did Lala say my name specifically?”
Taylor: “I promise on everything I love, Lala never said your name. When she spoke on the Icons, she was specifically talking about Devens.”
Taylor: “And I mean that. She’s never said Angela. She said Icons. Only Icons. She said Icons.”
Taylor: “But in her definition of Icons, she was talking about Devens, because when she got with me personally and she would talk, she did not care for Devens. That’s it. And I mean that.”
Angela: “And it doesn’t bother me. I’m just letting you know that. I just want to put that to rest.”

Taylor: “No, she would always say that out of all the Icons, I trust Angela. I love Angela and I need Angela. That’s what she was always, always saying about you. Truly.”
Dee: “You did tell me that last night at the gym.”
Angela: “No, I know she does. And I feel the same way. So it didn’t even matter.”
Angela: “I just thought, in rooms — you know, when you get in rooms and people start rallying or whatever, you know what I’m talking about? It can happen. And so I would never want to hold that against her.”
Angela: “So sometimes you will be in rooms and people will be saying things and you might even just nod.”
Taylor: “Oh, I know.”

Taylor: “Everything everybody was saying about you last week is, we would hate for Angela to go home. We don’t want Angela to go home.”
Taylor: “The ideal thing, once Kamu went up, was Kamu. Haley was already under the impression she would go home because she didn’t have the votes, and you would stay. That was the ideal. And I told Haley that.”
Taylor: “And I told you that in the kitchen when you looked at me. And I said, I swear to you, Miss Angela. I swear to you. I was honest with you.”
Taylor: “So I just wanted to make sure there was nothing left on the table that y’all did not already know. But I feel like I’ve always been honest and I’ve always told y’all up front.”
Taylor: “And it just always hurts my heart that everybody lies so much in this house that y’all don’t believe somebody when they’re telling the truth.”

“It just always hurts my heart that everybody lies so much in this house that y’all don’t believe somebody when they’re telling the truth.”

— Taylor

Angela: “You know, like, if people were saying that I was saying that about you — it’s really hard when you have all of these people, and then just one person.”
Dee: “But all of these people — it’s probably just Drew. It’s probably just Drew. That’s why I put him up.”
Dee: “It’s probably just Drew. I feel like it’s just Drew. I would think it’s just Drew.”

“It’s probably just Drew. That’s why I put him up.”

— Dee

Taylor: “I just wanted to let it be known and get some understanding moving forward.”
Angela: “I appreciate it.”
Taylor: “I don’t want to wait till the veto or da-da-da-da. I just wanted to talk it out now and see what it was.”
Angela: “I appreciate it, Taylor.”
Taylor: “Once again, if y’all have an issue or a problem, or my name comes up in something, just ask me. Just ask me. I can tell you right then and there.”

Angela sits on the HOH bed explaining to Taylor that the nominations were Dee's call, not hers

Taylor: “It’s not something that we have to linger on, fester on, or sit with so long that you be like, oh yeah, I’m going to start believing. Just ask me. Just ask me. That’s all I ask. Just ask me.”
Taylor: “So I appreciate you guys’ time. I’ll talk to you guys later.”
Dee: “Thank you.”

Taylor leaves. Haley takes her headphones off.

Haley: “I missed it. Sorry.”
Dee: “It’s okay.”
Haley: “What did she say?”
Dee: “She wanted to know why I put her up. And I said, you were conspiring against me when I wasn’t home. It’s simple.”

Haley: “Why did she say sorry, Haley?”
Dee: “Because you were crying.”
Haley: “Oh. So she said sorry because you were crying.”
Dee: “Do you feel better?”
Haley: “Yeah.”

Taylor and Melody talk on the backyard couches about Angela's plotting accusation

10:36 AM — Taylor and Melody, then Barrett (Backyard)

Taylor: “Melody, why was Angela saying that I was plotting against her last week?”
Melody: “She said that?”
Taylor: “Yeah.”
Melody: “To your face?”
Taylor: “She said that you and — did you and Mallory say that?”
Melody: “Tell her that you were doing that? No.”

Melody: “I didn’t tell her anybody was plotting against her. I told her that…”
Taylor: “They were plotting to keep Kamu. That’s not plotting against her.”
Melody: “Yeah, exactly.”

Taylor: “She said people was telling her that I was plotting against her and I was saying her name.”
Melody: “At least when me and Mallory were in the room with her — we didn’t even say your name. Like, when your name got…”
Taylor: “That’s what I’m like. There’s no f—ing way.”
Taylor: “I literally said, keep Kamu regardless. Yes. That’s a campaign, though. That’s talk. That’s not plotting against you. That’s game.”
Melody: “Like, you just happened to be on the block.”
Taylor: “Yeah, you’re on the block. And if people are trying to campaign to keep Kamu, regardless, if you happen to be on the block, that’s not people trying to plot against you.”

“That’s a campaign. That’s talk. That’s not plotting against you. That’s game.”

— Taylor

Taylor: “What is up with people?”
Melody: “Well, everyone needs someone to blame.”
Taylor: “And everybody’s blaming me.”
Melody: “No, I don’t think so.”
Taylor: “Well, Dee and Angela are.”
Melody: “Yeah, but I think they’re both more concerned about Lala. Which also isn’t great, but.”

Taylor and Melody talk on the backyard couches about Angela's plotting accusation

Taylor: “She said, a lot of people are saying — they’re all saying that you were plotting against me last week.”
Melody: “That’s what Angela said to you?”
Taylor: “Yeah, she said that to me. She said they were all saying that you were plotting against me last week.”
Melody: “And who the f— is they?”
Taylor: “I guess you, Mallory and Drew.”
Melody: “No. I never said that.”
Melody: “I think they’re just using it to get us all angry at each other.”

Taylor: “That’s why I’m like, what the f— is she talking about? No, I never said that. And I know damn well Mallory didn’t say that either.”
Taylor: “When I said Angela, the only thing I said about Angela was, we were all in that room the last night. I literally said, okay, if we’re doing this, just tell me we’re doing this. If we’re not doing it, let’s not do it.”
Taylor: “There are pros to keeping Kamu over Angela. And I said, if I know you guys say we can get Angela out anytime, but keeping Kamu is the best thing.”
Melody: “There’s no, like, allegiance to you. Like, I don’t get it. That’s game talk, though.”
Taylor: “That’s not plotting against me. That’s pros and cons.”
Melody: “Is that what you said to her? When she said that to you?”

Taylor: “No, I didn’t bring it up. Because I mean, I would have to say that you were in the room, and Mallory was, and Yash and Drew was in the room. I’d have to say that.”
Taylor: “But in my head I’m thinking, that’s not plotting against you. That was the last night, and that was the conversation. I was like, hey, what we doing? Let’s talk about it now. Let’s get this all out.”
Taylor: “We love Angela. We all kept saying that. We don’t want Angela to leave.”
Taylor: “I literally said — everybody was saying, the ideal situation is Kamu wins, and Haley already knew she didn’t have the votes to stay. That’s literally what we were saying.”
Taylor: “That was the ideal situation. Baby girl, we didn’t expect her to win.”
Melody: “Nah, bro.”

Taylor: “So in real life, yes, if Haley did win and it was Kamu and Angela — what’s the pros of keeping Kamu over Angela right now? That’s what the conversation was. It wasn’t plotting against Angela.”
Taylor: “And for her to say that you and Mallory — that’s like crazy.”

Barrett wanders over.

Barrett: “They’re just bugging, bro.”
Melody: “Well, they need us to not f— with each other. So that we go after each other first.”
Barrett: “Exactly.”
Taylor: “And I don’t believe it.”

Melody: “No, I never said that. Not only did I not say that, but me and Angela never had a conversation about keeping — like, any type of conversation. That’s why I didn’t even bring…”
Taylor: “I didn’t even bring it. But what she said, I was just like — I said no. I said, did I want to keep Kamu? Yes. But I was not plotting to get you.”
Taylor: “And I told her the ideal situation was that Kamu won and Haley was already in the mindset of going home. Haley told us several times that.”
Taylor: “Game talk is not plotting against you.”

Taylor: “I f—ing hate — I hate them. For that. I hate them for that.”
Taylor: “Y’all so used to motherf—ers lying in here. Y’all don’t know what a b—- telling the truth.”
Barrett: “That’s a fact.”
Taylor: “That’s so crazy to me.”

“Y’all so used to motherf—ers lying in here. Y’all don’t know what a b—- telling the truth.”

— Taylor

Melody: “It’s just like, bro, whatever. I have told people, like — if I said that, I would have told you that. If I said that, I would tell you that.”
Melody: “And, like, even right now, if I did say that, I would just be like, yo, I did say that to her, like, sorry. But I didn’t.”

11:10 am Melody Watch

Devens talks to the feed camera alone in the Big Brother 28 gym

11:12 AM — Devens, alone (Gym)

Devens: “We bribed him with the BB Bribe. Dee did. So next time he wins HOH, Yash cannot put up myself or Dee or Angela. That’s amazing for us. So we don’t want to put Yash up. We don’t want Yash to go yet.”

Devens: “Haley has my back, totally. She’s not coming for me. I think she’s good with Dee, especially with Dee keeping her safe this week. Haley is after Lala and Taylor more than anybody. Why would we put her up? So if you don’t put up either of them as a replacement nom, it’s gotta be someone from the mosh pit.”

Devens: “Let me make sure no one’s in this hallway.”

Devens: “So if we have to put up someone from the mosh pit, I think it’s Mallory. Pipe Queen. Everyone loves Pipe Queen. That’s the reason to get rid of her, for one. She’s super not committed to the mosh pit, it’s obvious. Like, she did not want to be in that room when we were asking Drew and Yash questions. She could not be in the same room with me all day the day that we voted out Kamu, the live eviction. And I think she wasn’t going to do it. Second, because Angela won the Blockbuster. Maybe I’m reading into that.”

Devens: “But I like Melody and Mallory a lot, but I trust them as far as I can throw them, and that’s not very far. So I think if there’s a renom, Mallory’s got to go up, because she’s not committed to me or Dee. I think that that four, FAP — Melody, Mallory, Barrett and Drew — are way too tight. I don’t think Drew or Barrett would necessarily come with Dee and I over them.”

Devens: “So if we get rid of Mallory, we bring Barrett closer, we reduce the threat of that four, and we take out a very lovable person in the game that you don’t want to sit in final two with — even though she hasn’t won much at all in the game. Just a Blockbuster and a veto. And both when she was at risk. Like, I didn’t get to play in either of those, so I don’t know how much credit you get for that.”

Devens: “But yeah, she just wants to play the middle so hard. I like her a lot, but she’s like the definition of a floater. Get a life vest. I think that’s who I would want to be the renom. And if she’s the renom, I think at that point you’ve blown up the mosh pit. So I think you have to send her home. I think you have to evict her.”

Devens talks to the feed camera alone in the Big Brother 28 gym

Devens: “So I hope the noms stay the same after the comp today, because then we’re sending home either Lala, Taylor or Drew. After the explosion at the nom ceremony, I don’t want to send home Drew. I think that he’s finally been forced to not play the middle after that. And I do think, to an extent, he has my best interest in mind. I don’t think he’s going to put me up, so I want him here. Whereas Lala and Taylor would put me up in a heartbeat.”

Devens: “Lala has alienated almost the whole house. Just through the way she talks to people, the way she treats people in general. It’s like there’s only two versions of Lala. I’m yelling at you or treating you with a ton of attitude and flipping my fan and saying bad things about you and mumbling under my breath — or I’m, like, so nice to you and following you around and being overly nice that it’s almost inauthentic. Those are the only two versions of Lala. And I think everyone in the house has seen it.”

“It’s like there’s only two versions of Lala.”

— Devens

Devens: “Like, we appreciate the cooking. We appreciate the tidying up. We don’t appreciate that we can’t get into the kitchen without being judged, and that we are being constantly, like, mumbled about under your breath because, oh, did he leave his glass out, you know?”

Devens: “And then Taylor. The prevailing thought about Taylor is that she’s actively not participating in the game. I like Taylor. I think she’s a very cool person, but she stays in her bed the majority of the day. I go to bed early too. We both go to bed early. But when I’m not in bed, I’m out and about. Even if I need to relax, I’m in a public space where people can come join me, where I can see what’s going on.”

Devens: “Taylor just stays back in her pod, which is her bed, all day. She doesn’t get up in the morning until she’s forced. She goes to bed right at 10 p.m. Even at the nom ceremony, what she was yelling at us, if you look through it, was: I’m actively not participating in the game. I don’t say anyone’s name. I don’t do anything. And it’s like, I don’t want to vote for anyone who does that. I don’t want someone like that to win the game. I want people who are excited to be here and want to be a part of this.”

Devens: “And I don’t want her on the jury. I don’t think I could get Taylor’s vote. So no, I think of the three up there now, I would want to vote Taylor off. Even though Lala’s actively after me, I’m more worried about Taylor. And honestly, at least Lala is playing, man. She’s up in the morning. Yeah, she goes to bed early too, so do I. But she’s out all day. Whereas Taylor is just… Literally, it’s frustrating. It’s like other people would love to be here, Taylor, and love to be doing this. Why aren’t you participating? And she never has.”

Devens: “It’s not like she’s reached a state of, like, I’m depressed, I’ve been away from home too long. It’s like she has always stayed in her bed all day. And maybe that’s a strategy. I know she’s whispering stuff behind the scenes. Like, she is playing. I get that. But it’s not a strategy I respect. You know, I don’t even like people throwing comps. And I think throwing comps can make all the sense in the world. I play it to win everything. That’s kind of dumb. I get that. But staying in your bed, like, I got to vote you out. I don’t want you on that jury.”

“But staying in your bed, like, I got to vote you out. I don’t want you on that jury.”

— Devens

Devens: “And outside of that, Drew — crazy liability. Always causing mistrust within our group, always trying to play both sides. But he finally blew up yesterday, and I think in a great way for us, where it’s like he alienated that side a little bit, he’s come to our side more. I think we can actually finally trust him a little bit, especially if we get rid of one of those FAP members, like a Mallory or a Melody. Barrett I trust to an extent. He’s going to be forced to make choices somewhere along the line. I think Barrett’s closer with Dee than he is with me, even though he and I are close.”

Devens talks to the feed camera alone in the Big Brother 28 gym

Devens: “Yash, love the dude. Totally burnt him with the Diamond Power of Veto. Before the Diamond Power of Veto, I was good with Yash. I was, like, one of his guys. But the reason Yash doesn’t mind rolling with me — most people aren’t going to want to roll with me, because I’ve made myself a big threat, you know, by getting out Rome, getting out Kamu. But Yash is confident in what he’s done, and he should be. He’s won stuff. He’s super well liked. He’s been playing the game hard. Like, he’s not someone I want to sit next to at the end, but I love having him in the game.”

Devens: “He’s my barber. He shaves me and he cuts my hair, for better or worse. I’m kind of digging it. Also, I’m just trying to be one of the guys. Otherwise I probably never would have done it. I’m the old guy. Got to try to fit in here, guys. Give me a break.”

Devens: “But yeah, I really love Yash. I feel great about Yash and the fact that he can’t get rid of us by rule because he agreed to the BB Bribe. Like, Yash isn’t a target of mine until after he wins an HOH.”

Devens: “Melody. She and Mallory are totally codependent. They cannot be away from each other for more than 30 seconds or there’ll be a panic attack. It’s crazy. Again, gameplay-wise, if you cannot be away from a person for that long, that’s weird. And not good gameplay. I want to be able to talk to you guys one-on-one. So I want to get rid of one of them and see what happens to the other one.”

Devens: “I don’t trust Melody as far as I can throw her. I still don’t believe she’s a stand-up comedian. I don’t believe that because… never mind. I just don’t believe it.”

Devens: “Yeah, I think she’s hard with Barrett and Drew and Mallory, but not with the mosh pit. I don’t think she cares about the Icons at all. I think she’d love to see the Icons go. And why wouldn’t she? Of course. But I wouldn’t mind seeing Melody out. I think Mallory’s a much bigger threat to win the game. I don’t think Melody could win the game against anyone except maybe Taylor and Lala, because she either has been kind of rude to people or just does not spend time with them at all. She’s only with Mallory and Drew and Barrett.”

Devens talks to the feed camera alone in the Big Brother 28 gym

Devens: “Angela — love Angela. Riding with Angela. That’s my number two for sure. It’s been great. She kind of causes a lot of drama. I really enjoy that. I don’t know why she inserts herself in all the drama that she’s not even a part of. That’s wild to me. But I enjoy it. I think I’d feel comfortable sitting next to her at the end. She crushed it in the Blockbuster when we needed her to. Go Angela. But she hasn’t been great at comps overall. That’s a person I want to ride with late in the game. Right now I need people who can win and not put me up. But late in the game? Love that.”

Devens: “And then Dee, that’s my number one. Dee and I have had each other’s back. I think she’s had my back from day one. She certainly — actions have been good. I want to ride with her all the way to the end, because I feel like my resume against hers, like, very similar resumes. But you know what? Like, I got a family to feed. I’ve never won a million dollars on a game show. Like, I want to go up against someone in the final two that doesn’t have those things, you know? Like, she doesn’t have the heartstrings to pull. She wasn’t the dad of the house, and she’s won a million dollars. Like, you’re going to give her another $750,000? I need that. Jack and Juju and Gary and Izzy and Melvin and Sia and Zelda, all my rescue pets need that.”

Devens: “So yeah, Dee’s like the perfect ride or die, because I would want to sit next to her in a final two — even though she’s really going to be great in a final two, and she’s already got one of the top resumes in the game. I think I do too. Between you and me, I think I do too. And it’s only going to get better between now and the end. But our moves are basically shared. And so when it comes down to it — come on, I need that money. She doesn’t need that money. She’s living the good life in Miami. She’s always on vacation. I work a nine to five in Macon, Georgia. Give me that money. That’s where my head’s at.”

Devens: “I think that’s everybody. Haley. Yeah, I think I covered Haley. I’m good with Haley. She’s alienated a lot of the house. She’s good at comps, but wouldn’t put me up.”

Yash and Mallory talk quietly in the storage room about Lala and Drew as liabilities

11:34 AM — Yash and Mallory (Storage Room)

The feeds cut away.

Yash: “Lala, you are a number, but you’re also a liability. Drew is the biggest liability.”
Mallory: “Yeah, like, I don’t wanna see Lala go. I don’t want to see any of them go.”
Mallory: “But Haley doesn’t really seem like she wants to go home anymore.”
Yash: “I know. She’s got, like, a second wind of life.”
Mallory: “Yeah, because I was just saying I feel like I’m going to win the next situation. She was like, don’t forget that I didn’t put you up.”

Devens talks to the feed camera alone in the Big Brother 28 gym

11:35 AM — Devens, continued (Gym)

The feeds cut back.

Devens: “…so much about what the jury’s going to say to a final two when we’re so far. Like, there’s still 11 of us. I’ve made the final 10, because I’m not going to be renommed. Dee. Please. But yeah, man. That’s how I feel about the game. I think we’re in a good spot. It could all fall apart next week.”

Devens: “I really feel like if Mallory, Melody, Taylor, Lala — any of them win HOH next week, I’m probably on the block. That’s how much I trust Mallory and Melody as members of the mosh pit. But if anyone else wins, I think I still don’t see the block.”

Devens: “And I’m the only one in the house who hasn’t been on the block yet. How did that happen? I thought I was going to be on the block week two. But then I won week two. So I thought week three. You know? And I haven’t even seen the block. I’ve only gotten to play in one veto. That’s when I was HOH. I won it. You know? I can win another veto. I can win a Blockbuster. You ain’t getting rid of me anytime soon. Or maybe you will. And that’s okay. I’ve left it all on the field.”

Devens: “But no, man. We’re trying to get that W. Things are going better than I ever could have imagined.”

Devens: “I think if the noms stay the same, I want Taylor out of here. If there’s a renom, I think I want Mallory to go up and I want her out of here. And that’s my story. And thank you for listening, because that has kept me from having to do leg exercises for the last five to ten minutes.”

“Thank you for listening, because that has kept me from having to do leg exercises for the last five to ten minutes.”

BB28 Alliances

Updated Friday afternoon, before the nomination ceremony. Eleven houseguests left. Dee is Head of Household.Updated Friday afternoon, before the nomination ceremony. Eleven houseguests left. Dee is Head of Household.

Active

Dee’s HOH

Dee · Devens · Angela · Haley

The power, and by two o’clock Friday it was aimed. Lala and Taylor have been settled since noon — “because they were conspiring against me, and that’s easy” — and the third seat moved from Haley to Yash to Drew across the afternoon. Dee, alone with her lunch: “I can go back on my word and put Yash up. But why would I do that when I can just put Drew up?” Devens had already signed off on it before she asked anybody else.

Broken

FAP

Drew · Barrett · Melody · Mallory

Dead by two o’clock Friday. Dee told Mallory that Drew knew Kamu was putting her on the block and was fine with it, and told Melody that Drew had described her as somebody you could whisper to at the last minute. Melody: “So you genuinely have been playing both sides this entire f—ing time.” And later: “I’m not going to be playing the Drew game.” Barrett had warned Dee that nominating Drew would cost her both women. Instead it cost Drew both of them.

Hollow

Mosh Pit

Drew · Barrett · Melody · Mallory · Dee · Devens · Angela

Two of its members have said out loud that it was never real. Mallory: “I was never planning on being loyal to Mosh Pit.” Melody: “If I was HOH, f— Mosh Pit.” It is now doing the one job nobody intended — boxing in its own side’s HOH. Devens, on Dee’s options: “You can’t really put up anyone from the Mosh Pit without blowing it up quick.” Dee settled it herself on Friday, alone in the HOH room: “And the Mosh Pit’s not f—ing real, because they would come for me regardless.”

Fracturing

The Crossovers

Drew · Barrett · Dee · Devens · Angela

Four of the five are still in it. The fifth is about to be nominated by it. Barrett spent an hour with Dee on Friday working through the Drew move and finished on “I think you should do it,” having already told her “there’s nothing that Drew hasn’t done in the past week that doesn’t deserve for him to go on the block.” Drew still thinks the group holds — Barrett says he wanted to discuss long-term plans that same morning, and he spent Friday afternoon bringing them his Time Capsule power as proof of loyalty. Lala reached the same conclusion from the outside days ago: “now they’re hanging with them and they’re on their side. But they’re the first ones they’ll put up.”

Forming

Lala, Taylor, Yash — and now Mallory and Melody

Lala · Taylor · Yash · Mallory · Melody

Lala counted this out loud at four in the morning with Mallory sitting there: “I’m trusting you and Mal — I mean you and Melody. I’m trusting you guys. Because, I mean, we don’t have anybody. I can’t trust Barrett and I can’t trust Drew now.” Friday afternoon took it apart. Told she was being considered, Lala gave Dee three names for who pushed hers last week — Drew, Mallory and Melody, with Barrett in the room saying nothing — and volunteered that her own target is Devens. Dee, once she was alone: “Lala, why would you tell me you’re coming after Devens? That’s my f—ing number one. You’re definitely going on the block.” Melody and Mallory spent the same hour swearing themselves to Dee.

Burned

Drew

The connector ran out of road on Friday afternoon. In the HOH meeting he walked the room through the night Yash won HOH, reached the moment Yash asked him straight out, and answered it himself: “And I’m sitting there going, like, sure. I want Dee out.” Lala, an hour later and unprompted: “Drew is a motherf—er. He’s a little f—ing snake. And he flits here, and he flits there.” Barrett told Dee to take the shot. Melody and Mallory stopped defending him inside ten minutes. By 1:50 PM Dee had stopped hedging — “again, the reason I’m saying this is because I’m putting him up” — and he is the only person in the house who has not been told. Two minutes earlier he had walked back into the storage room with the last Time Capsule trip of the season in his pocket, the Never Not Pass, and pitched it to Barrett and Devens as a character reference: “they wouldn’t give me one if I was a traitor.” It keeps him off slop. It does not keep him off the block.

Active

The Icons

Dee · Devens · Angela

The best week they have had. Angela won the Blockbuster and took herself off the board, Kamu went home in her place, and Dee came out of the endurance comp with her second HOH. Devens’ Diamond Power of Veto is spent and Dee’s BB Bribe is still in her hands. Dee, alone in her room afterwards: “Two HOHs, baby. Just why not keep making myself a bigger target?” All three of them expected the last Time Capsule trip to go to Yash. It went to Drew.

Open

The leak

Somebody who was in the HOH room the day the group agreed to target the Icons told Dee about it. Yash ruled out Taylor, Lala and Mallory and was left with Drew or Barrett. Melody had already landed on Barrett; Lala got there independently on Thursday night, working backwards from the vote maths: “So who flipped it? Drew?” Friday narrowed the ground without closing it — Lala put Drew, Mallory and Melody in the room pushing Dee’s name with Barrett silent, and Dee told Barrett that what she knows about Devens’ name coming up, she knows from him. Nobody has confirmed it and Dee has not said.

Ended

Yash and Kamu

The most under-reported relationship of the season and it stayed that way to the end. Yash: “And they will never know the extent of our relationship.” He campaigned hard in the last week — “I’ve kicked it into overdrive now to keep your ass” — and told Haley to throw the Blockbuster so Kamu could eat. Angela won it instead and Kamu was evicted.

Ended

Bermuda Triangle

Yash · Kamu · Devens

Named by Devens, then hollowed out by him when he used the Diamond Power of Veto to pull Dee down and put Kamu up, cutting Yash out of his own ceremony. Kamu is gone. Historical.

Ended

Wolf Pack

Yash · Kamu · Devens · Dee

Historical, but it explains the grudges. Yash still reached for it when justifying why he did not join the anti-Icons push earlier: “not so much, because we have the Wolf Pack.”

Broken

The Bad Boys

Yash · Drew · Kamu · Devens · Barrett

Did not survive. Devens used his power against one of the five, Drew and Barrett went to the Icons, and Kamu was evicted.

Survived

Haley

Third week on the block, still here, and the house cannot work out what she is doing. Mallory: “I feel like everybody knows that Haley doesn’t like Dee.” Taylor: “Haley could be playing a game that I’m upset at the whole vote thing.” Devens has told Dee to keep her close. Lala thinks that means she is safe: “Angela and Dee have been hanging, and Haley’s been on their hips like you would not believe.” Dee talked herself out of a third straight nomination on Friday, and for the coldest possible reason: “That’s a perfect person for us to sit next to if we ever go up.” Haley spent the afternoon waiting outside the HOH door, got bumped for Mallory, and went to the pool.

The BB Time Capsule

The BB Time Capsule is a multi-week America’s Vote twist running Weeks 2 through 7. Each week America votes one houseguest into the capsule, that houseguest plays alone, and they come out with either a power or a punishment. One trip each — once you’ve been in, you’re out of the pool.

Week 2

Angela. Lost. Spent the week in the Hard-Boiled Detective costume.

Week 3

Devens. Won the Diamond Power of Veto — pull a nominee off the block and name the replacement yourself, with the HOH cut out of the decision. Good for six weeks. Used in Week 6 to save Dee and nominate Kamu, who was evicted the following Thursday. Spent.

Week 4

Dee. Won the BB Bribe. $5,000 offered to one houseguest in exchange for an action that helps her game. Valid to the end of the season, and the target can turn it down. She has tried to spend it once: before the Week 6 nominations she asked Yash to keep her and Angela safe for the week for the $5,000. He said no. She dropped Angela and asked again for just herself. He said no again. The money is still in her hands.

Week 5

Mallory. Lost. Received the Adam and Eve punishment and picked Melody to serve it alongside her — Melody was never in the capsule herself. The two were tethered together in fig-leaf costumes for 48 hours.

Week 6

Melody. Lost. Received Lady of the Latrine, making her the house bathroom attendant. She has to unlock the bathroom, take each houseguest’s request, announce their trip to the porcelain throne, and lock up again afterward. Nobody is allowed to assist her.

Week 7

Drew. Won the Never Not Pass — he cannot be made a have-not for the rest of the season. Called in on Friday afternoon, hours before the nominations he expects to be part of. He told Barrett and Devens within minutes of walking back into the storage room, and had already worked out what else it was worth: “they wouldn’t give me one if I was a traitor.” The last trip of the twist.

Where it stands: All six trips are done. Devens’ Diamond Power of Veto is spent, and the houseguest it put on the block has been evicted. Dee’s BB Bribe is still unspent and no longer a secret — she told Kamu and Yash about it herself, and Mallory and Melody have both been told since. Kamu believed, before his eviction, that Dee had paid Devens the $5,000 to use the Diamond Power of Veto on her; Mallory has independently floated the same theory and named it as a guess. There is nothing behind it but the timing, and both of them said so. The last trip went to Drew, which the house did not see coming — the HOH room spent Friday lunchtime convinced it was Yash, timing his Diary Room visit, watching the spy screen and running through which powers could still be in the pool. Drew’s is the smallest of the three powers America has handed out, and he knows it, but it arrived on the afternoon Dee decided to nominate him. Room trip, watching the spy screen, and running through which powers could still be in the pool.

When Taylor says she was trying to save Kamu not evict Angela…
this is semantic manipulation.
Cause and effect: If she was trying to save one against the other in the block… she was trying to evict the one she wanted voted out.
Say it to the people in the house and see if they buy it… it’s game.
If she says it in a cam talk to the viewers that is different. Then it’s insulting our intelligence. Pointing that out is my way of saying go ahead and game in the game, but own your game.

To say that i am tiiiiiiiiiired of the stuntcasts is being kind. I have not enjoyed one moment of their presence. Okay, that’s a lie. I did enjoy seeing Angela win the block buster. I enjoyed it because at that moment I was more NOPE on Kamu than i was NOPE on Angela. It confuses me too. In my gut I was happy she won it. That bothers me. but that is the ONLY time i have been entertained by even a moment of the stuntcasts this season.
If we are looking at strategic analysis? I am the underdog and strategic mastery type in terms of my enjoyment of the game analytically. I don’t like the survivor style bullshit in big brother. Too bad , I said it. Lets not maintain relationships and backstab alliances every week but look here is another twist to protect the stunts. Fuq all the way off with that bullshit. Depending on production protection as the sum total of your game is weak contrived and insulting. These three people have revealed to me who they are as people. The edits they got on their other shows are the edit manipulated characters. We are seeing who they really are on feeds. They. Are. Assholes.

So now the house is searching for Drew’s brush. Taylor is upset her things have been moved and her stuff has been gone through. Mind you SHE hid the brush (in the have not wheel if i’m not mistaken). So do the deed, don’t big mad when the focus shifts on you. That’s my take. As long as nothing has been destroyed intentionally, and they don’t plan to keep it for themselves…. go for it in terms of psychological warfare, but don’t come crying when the same happens.

I don’t believe instead of strategic analysis we have all been lowered to pointing out semantic discrepency. This season blows chunks.

I still and will now forever say that prodo spoke to the houseguests about last night and the image it projected. They have in the past, and they have stunts involved. There is NO WAY the same people involved in the Gr8ful style bash session last night are all talking about perception and pointing fingers without Prodo having tipped them off that those bash sessions don’t play well with the image of the people involved. Bank on it.

Lyric & Rome

“They. Are. Assholes.” Another Name, you’re being way to kind to the so called icons. Assholes are a necessity, these 3 should have never been put into the house with a batch of those who don’t know how BB is played.

Most of us love to read your posts.

A bunch of weirdo's

I agree 100%. I was thinking season 21 all over again. I even went back to view clips just to refresh my memory; and yep. They even referenced the cleaning stuff. Wow.
After last night, I new today would be a different scenario. Houseguest in the past mentioned how they would get a talking to, and being swayed in a particular direction.
Big Brother is becoming Young & the Restless at this point.

A bunch of weirdo's

My only thing with the brush thing. It should be between Drew and Taylor; not Drew, Melody and Haley against La La and Taylor. That doesn’t make sense. Don’t hang up on one person.
How did La La sheets or blanket get involved????
Wait until Melody sees the clips on how really Drew feels about her; she’ll feel really stupid

The Beef

I’m gonna say this. If production allows this 3 people to be protected by one $5k bribe, and say that is “one action”, it totally confirms, without a doubt the fix is 100% in for 1 of the 3 returning players to win this game, if it already isn’t. There are THREE nominations to be made – not one! I read the whole card when Dee won the power (I DVR’ed the show and paused on it so I could read it) and there’s just no way the instructions of the power could be interpreted in that way. It talks about a single action of making a nomination, or not nominating someONE, voting a certain way, or some other action that helps your game. I don’t remember the exact words, but I’m pretty damn sure they had no intention of it protecting a whole alliance from eviction for an entire week, when the rules were written.

I just don’t get why they want to ruin the whole game by loading up people with huge powers they don’t even need, when they’re already dominating the game as is. I guess Grod wants to see Angela, Dee and Devens steamroll to the final three, or until either Dee or Devens decides to backstab one or both of the other two, which will likely happen around Final 5 or so.

A bunch of weirdo's

I didn’t see or remember Dee saying all of that. It’s like she’s/ or production; is making it up as the show goes on. That’s utterly ridiculous! Yash should have said nope again and rolled the dice.
