Earlier today Drew won the Never-Not Pass (permanent immunity from ever being named a Have-Not again) in the Big Brother 28 Time Capsule Twist.
4:41pm – 6:05pm The live feeds were blocked for the Head Of Household Dee to make her nominations. She nominated LALA, TAYLOR and DREW for eviction.
HOH room – Dee, Drew and Barrett
Drew – thank you for giving me a take two on that. Dee – Listen, you know you have my loyalty right? Because the way you spoke up .. FINALLY you f**king little Weasel! God Damn it! Angela joins them. Angela – F**K YES!! Drew – I’m your weasel. Dee – Yes, you are. I love you. Barrett – this is crazy. Dee – Good for you. You did phenomenal. And you know I f**king believe everything that you’ve been saying and so does everyone else. Dee to Angela – you did good too! I was trying to go to Angela. Angela, relax. Because I was scared that she blew up and I wanted you to like f**king wait. Angela – Did you guys have this planned? Dee – No, I didn’t at all no, no, dude. No, no, no, no at all. Drew – I fully expected to see me, my face out there when you went to open the door and was like nothing. I could call him up. Dee – Drew, I f**king love you, man. Drew – No, I generally like. Thanks for giving me a second try. Dee – You really f**ked up in this meeting. Drew – No, I really did. Dee – I for a second thought like, oh, great, he’s sussed as hell. Drew – No. Am I less suss now? Dee – Yes. Yes. Yes. he goes, I’m the biggest one in this house. Is that what you say? Drew – I’m the biggest liar in this house? Angela – Deven’s is like, you can’t play the game from your pod. You’re playing the game. Dee – He said that, Devin said. Angela – not to her. To us. Dee – I didn’t even realize. Barrett – like I missed that.
Angela – Someone needs to say it to Taylor, ’cause she’s going around like just because of association. She keeps saying association, but you’re in your, you’re doing it. You were up here
with yours constantly. Drew – that was how you come out with the flannel too. I was like, oh, this is going to be dumb, plan. Dee – I am ready. Drew – All right, guys. I’m not really worried about sitting. Even if I go on the blog.
Dee – I’m not even sorry about putting you up. You know what? I’m glad that happened. Drew – No, I was lit. I’m glad I genuinely thought for a SEC with my mom. I sat there between my mom and my dad and my sister put me up. And my big brother came. Angela – But he came in clutch. She was like, yes, she did see that. Just because she didn’t say my name specifically. But she did, I guess, say my actual name, because she was getting used. Haley as a freedom fighter. Drew – Oh yeah, yeah. Angela – Oh my God. What is this? Barrett – In the best context all up here? When we were all up here in the best context, she just said that you would be the last ICON to go. Angela – yeah. Barrett – It wasn’t even, like, she didn’t say her name. Drew – I did say Devens was the most scary because she said.. that’s fine, dude, she said you’re not gonna put demons up, ’cause he’s your dad. Literally I was sitting here and I was like, what the f**k? I was like, I do think he’s the scariest of the three. Angela – Oh My gosh true. Dee – That was phenomenal

Lala – I am going to tell you this.. I’m going to tell you again .. They’re f**king liars. Ask them what they said if they let you into jury. Because ask what their answer was for that because if you can tell that I wouldn’t vote I don’t wouldn’t vote for Dee to get the money. She already has money I wouldn’t get until I was like sh*t. If she get to last she deserves it and I believe her deserve the f**king money because if she got to the last two give her the money. Yes she deserves it because she played her a$$ off this is bullsh*t. Drew is a f**king bullsh*t liar. I’m sorry, Melody and Mallory, just that’s not what I said. She said she was going to do the three people. I said you’re a f**king liar. You said icons out of your mouth. You said Dee, Devens and Angela. I never said Angela’s name. I never said Dee’s name. Lala – bottom line is .. I am really dumbfounded that these people are looking at me and then prepared to say, oh, you said I could. Did I say angels name, Barrett, did I say Angela’s name? Did I say this name? Well, well, you said icons, Devens is an icon. And you know, I said icon Devens. I’m not going after Dee or Angela, and he knows that and so does Drew, and so do those two freaking girls because that’s the conversation that we had. And Taylor wasn’t even in the conversation. She was in the shower. IF the four of them get into the jury house, they’re running it. Drew, Mallory, Barrett and Melody. Dee – well Drew is on the block. Lala – Well I hope he goes home. I hope he doesn’t slither out of it. But I am telling you right now the four of them don’t need to be in that jury house because they got the votes. Just think about that! Dee – No I agree.
Lala – I’m gonna win this f**king veto and pull myself off the block and f**K all y’all no. Dee – And you absolutely can look at how you did on that wall. And if people want to underestimate you, you show them and you prove them wrong. Lala – so I’m not mad at you at all, not in the least. Dee – Thank you and the conversation we had was real. Lala – Totally and completely. I’m not mad at you all. I’m mad at those little f**kers. Dee – I really am knowing I’m starting to be pissed too. Lala – I’m really f**king mad at those little f**kers. Dee – I really, really good. Lala – I’m like, who the f**k are you? Like you’re you’re a little f**king liar. You’re a known f**king liar. And then for him to upset Angela about it!? Now you’re trying to be rude and disrespectful and that’s not necessary at all. I am going to lay my head low .. and win this f**king veto tomorrow. I am so angry right now .. and I am so disgusted! Big Brother switches the feeds.
6:45pm Backyard – Melody and Mallory
Melody – I am really glad like.. Drew played it like perfectly. He was super calm because with Lala
doing all that bullsh*t and then Taylor’s screaming. I do feel bad though because in there (Diary Room) I’ve been like, I don’t f**king trust you. Like I’m so f**king angry right now. I was like Barrett either? I’m like both of them, they’re done. Mallory – I was like super mad too. Melody – I was like you are done. Like you are cut off. Like I’m not your f**king friend. I’m coming for you. So now I’m gonna have to go back in there and be like, so I know I said but, he’s chill. He’s chill, I guess, and he really didn’t bring us into it because we’re his eaves.
Melody – We need to win HOH next week. It is dangerous to keep the ICONS in here but they’re like rocking with us. Mallory – for now. I feel like next week is soon enough. Melody – they’re coming for us. They talk about talking to Drew about what they’ve said in the diary room about him. Like we were mad and this is why. Mallory – we have to remember though that they icons are going to choose them over us. Melody – of course. Mallory – and we have to blow it up.
7:15pm Backyard – Lala and Angela
Lala – I don’t know how to navigate it in the sense that I just don’t know moving forward. Angela – here is the thing. I don’t know how to be .. I need to be very direct. Sometimes in this game, we say and do things that ’cause we get hyped by other people, influenced by other people, our own thoughts. We get carried away. I do it every fucking day in here. Like I run through scenarios, I think about things. I think if someone’s pointing out something that you said or did sometimes it’s just easier to own up to it and just be like, yeah, I said icons, regardless of who you actually meant in it or not, just owning up to the fact. Because too many people said you said it so. And you did say you did say it. Lala – in that in that meeting. Angela – but it you know, but what I’m saying to you. Lala – in that meeting, I did not. I asked them who they will put up. I never said anything about it. Angela – I know but everyone else said you did. Lala – And that’s the whole thing. Angela – Maybe you don’t even remember just own it, I said it. Its ok Lala because I already know people want me out.
Lala – I understand what you’re saying, but I’m telling you right now in that room I asked who would you guys put up once never once did I say it. I’m sorry. I just didn’t. And they and they, they have to conspire and they have to come together with their story. Barrett has been trying to get on the show for 7 years. Angela – It doesn’t matter. I was trying for 5. Doesn’t make me do that. Lala – Barrett is a super fan and Barrett has a Barrett has a plan right now. I’m sorry. I’m sorry. No,
and my thing about my thing about it is if I did it, I have no problem doing it. So what I’ll say is I don’t remember saying it. I do not remember saying it at all because I don’t think I said it because I wasn’t asked the question.
Angela – But I am trying to tell you that even if you did, I still f**king love you. It doesn’t matter to me. Lala – but it matters to me. I would never have said your name. I am telling you that with my heart and my soul. NEVER! Angela – I am believing you. I just want you to be good. I don’t want you to be sad. I want you to go after that veto. I want you to be happy and I want us to be friends. That is all I want. Lala – I cannot wait for this play back. Angela – we are friends Lala and nothing is changing it.
8:20pm Backyard Pool conversations about potential veto comps they might have tomorrow like the hide the veto comp, etc. Devens comments on how that one would suck because of how much of a mess the house is after. Drew – if it is that one (Hide The Veto) I hope Lala and Taylor are still here so that they can clean the house.
8:30pm Storage Room – Dee, Mallory and Barrett
Dee – that there was going to be some type of house meeting. I had. No, I said if you guys, because everybody knows why, lied to, everybody knows how I feel. If you want to talk privately or publicly to me, do it. I had no idea Taylor was going to like.. Mallory – yeah, like I think Taylor’s BB Comic is going to be her in the shower. She keeps saying I wasn’t in that conversation. I was in the shower.
8:50pm Storage Room – Dee, Barrett and Devens
Dee – If I do need to remon someone who do I do? Devens – there is always Yash. Barrett – I would say Yash. Dee – Or Haley too. Devens – The nice thing about Barrett is no one would ever vote him out. Dee – he’s the perfect person. I could definitely backdoor Barrett. Devens – On a serious note, I’m like maybe we definitely don’t have to get rid of Drew, right? Dee – He f**king redeemed himself honestly. Because right up until that meeting and you know it.. Devens – But you don’t necessarily need to do a renom either. If we leave noms the same, we have the votes to keep him. And we don’t have to upset the biggest challenge threat in the game whos probably happy.. Dee – that is very true. That is very f**King true. Devens – But you know obviously if Drew wins the veto, one of them wins the veto and your hand is forced.. and I am not as confident as going up without a Diamond Power Of Veto. I felt a lot more confident when I had it. Like maybe if I had a havenot pass. Dee – that is the WACKEST power in history! Devens – And I got the Diamond Power of veto and he got a havenot pass. Until I talked with her (Dee) I thought he was lying. I was like oh my god that sucks! Devens – and to get it this deep in the game too!? He was a havenot twice and wouldn’t be again for another 4 weeks.
11pn – 11:40pm Backyard – Drew, Barrett, Melody and Mallory
Barrett and Drew are acting out a whole skit / Movie of story for Mallory and Melody. Meanwhile in the have not room Taylor and Lala are sleeping.
11:45pm – 12am Backyard – Melody, Mallory, Drew and Barrett
Melody – I talking to Taylor and she said.. you guys deada$$ can’t say anything or this might not work.. Drew – I don’t talk to Taylor. Melody – but like she said if she won the veto, she would keep
nominations the same because she knows that she has a votes to stay against anybody she’s sitting next to stay, if it’s Drew or Lala, and I said yes. Barrett – I think she does. Melody – I think she does too. Drew – Guy’s she doesn’t have the votes. Melody – obviously that’s if she wins and don’t throw it to her or anything. Drew – no, I am going to try to win it. Also don’t say anything but if we could keep that illusion up. That could be cool. Barrett – that could be quite entertaining. Drew – If I get to pick (POV player pick – house guest choice), I think I’ll pick you Barrett. Barrett – I’d be cool with that. Drew – you’re the second place champ so if you get second, that means I get first. Barrett – if its prize / punishment (Veto) and we’re top two .. its yours. Drew – I’ll take 10k, you get the veto? Barrett – no, I want it. Take yourself off the block. Drew – I don’t think Taylor is doing that. There is no way she is doing that. Melody – but it would be interesting and if we could just like who knows.. Drew – I would be baffled if she was like I won the vet and I’m not suing it.. like what?! Just so that Yash doesn’t go up? If she believes that, I’m down. I am not talking to any of them. I just hope Yash doesn’t get to play because I don’t know who the renom would be .. maybe Haley? Melody – Hopefully.
Drew – after this week there are no two better people to be sitting next to.. And we don’t have to worry about a f**k a$$ power, because I got the f**k a$$ power.

Ideally Barrett wins the veto & doesn’t use it on his friend Drew. Drew is left feeling iced out & rejected for the week & is rescued from his misery by being sent home on eviction day.
Nominating drew seems like a terrible idea. Look what happened when red corner did it.
While I don’t like seeing LaLa back OTB, I’m not complaining about Drew joining her. And I’m more than happy to backdoor Yash and leave him with a $5K parting gift.
Next is Veto and I pray LaLa can pull another miracle win.
They say Lala is clueless. But I think she’s the only one that understands what’s going on tbh. Her vote last week was purely on which of the two would be better at taking out the icons. That’s the deal. They have to go and she knows it.
Seems clueless to tell one icon that you are itching to backdoor the other one who happens to be her closest ally. It’s one thing if Dee decides she wants Devens out sooner than later, but at this point in the game that info reveal from Lala was awful game.
It’s absolutely clueless, and just goes to show that LaLa has no idea what’s going on in the game. How could she not know how close Devens and Dee are after Devens just burned his diamond power of veto on her less than 5 days ago?
LaLa is clearly one of the more likeable people in the house, but she’s just not ready for the dynamic changes and social BS that takes place in Big Brother, but congrats to her for winning the Wall and having the temperament to put up with those slobs for as long as she has.

So we have Taylor and Melody left. I haven’t heard anything about those two.
But Melody is a flip flopper & has no good reads, no strategy, and simply boring.
At least Taylor cooks and clean, and not a flip flopper.
But Taylor won’t make it far, she would have to win throughout, because they would rather stay with someone like Drew who plays both sides. No one would work with Taylor and lala; and that’s just a fact.
Dee was trying to come up with reasons to put up Taylor. Dee’ s nominations were personal and not gameplay. You can tell by the conversation they both had in the HOH room.
FYI…. I don’t know why anyone wasted their time voting in the BB time capsule thing, I don’t think the votes mattered.

votes came in when he was aligned with the icons plus people love a showmance and he almost has one with melody. taylor, yash, lala, and haley certainly weren’t winning the power. only options were drew and barrett. personally i thought barrett would get it, but not that surprised it was drew.

Everyone EXCEPT Melody and Mallory ratted out the Rebel Alliance meeting.
Taylor went to Devens. first one. She was downstairs with the stunts gabbing, then went up to take a shower in the HOH. She was not an active participant and ratted it out. She tried to place ownership on M/M or Drew Barrett, not sure (don’t remember) which.
WHY? Tether Alliance
Barrett went to Dee. of course he did.
Drew joined. They had arranged to go together but Barrett had to tell Dee first cus a gerbil gonna gerbil. Devens joined.
Barrett and Drew told Angela who fell out of her chair.
WHY? Xover Alliance and to downplay FAP involvement.
Yash went to the stunts next. He tried to put the emphasis on Drew and Barrett.
WHY? Wolf Pack Alliance.
LATRICE even squeeled. She also tried to blame everyone else in the room

The entire meeting thing is a Prodo inspired trap. Here is the double edge of the trap:

BECAUSE EVERYONE ELSE’S RATTING ISN’T IN THE CANON OF EPISODE EDIT…. choose your own adventure. The production team has chosen Barr / Drew ratted. That give license to everyone else to act offended for the cameras to gain sympathy.
IF. IF Devens and Dee had chosen to go with WOLF PACK or TETHERS / PRIMARIES the edit would have been Yash or Taylor exposing. Bank on it. But that isn’t the adventure that was chosen.
THIS is where the whole thing is a farce. When ANY of them are acting like they are mad the meeting is outed…. they are full of shit because they ALL exposed it.

We’ve gotta be a little cynical in a stuntcast season. And a lot more diligent when things don’t make sense. The entire who exposed the meeting thing doesn’t make sense by the emotional responses of people who themselves exposed it.
As a fan of this show, I really think this twist was a huge failure. The producers should have rigged the BB Capsule a little in favor of the newbies by giving them some better items for the sake of the season. They should have made sure that at least one of Melody, Mellory, or Drew got the Coin of Destiny.
I’d also love to see Season 29 as an All-Stars season featuring players who were eliminated before the jury, and then Season 30 as a Legends All-Stars season. I really hope they do something like that.
You know what would be a real novelty? A house full of strangers who have never been on TV.
I’d add that they all be relative newbies to BB, not knowing what to expect, not figuring that this is the week for OTEV, or Zingbot, or double elimination, just taking things as they come. I love to see a whole bunch in there who didn’t know to memorize days & facts. It’d be like an all new game.
I agree, they should absolutely do a season like that! It could be amazing. I just don’t think giving Melody, Mallory or some others with the advantages would have helped this season. Its why they got the punishments because they are better with those (my confidence in fully-rigged already). They’d hum and haw until the very last minute waiting for someone to tell them what to do. I believe without the icons, the show wouldn’t be nearly as good. The producers have years of experience casting personalities and building a machine designed to deliver ratings, and heaps of cash. Whether we agree with their choices or not.They carefully picked every single person for a reason. The whole cast is a team, with each player filling a role psychologically, physically, by age, personality, etc. Remove Player 3 and Player 6 has to go to someone else before they air. It’s a system, not 16 random people thrown into a house. It’s why I love the All-Star idea because most will be cutt-throat and fearless.

What we are hearing in retells is post noms there was a meeting called possibly by LaTrice.
The meeting did not go as LaTrice planned. Lots of people jumped in with their sides of the story. I grain of salt the retells because the last off feed retells of a confrontation were less shock and awe and more well isn’t this perfect timing for the episode. LaTrice was upset and Taylor was upset. Mallory didn’t like the drama again. Nothing helps a stuntcast season more than having multiple stupid post meeting meetings where everyone snipes at each other instead of all focusing on the cancer that is the stuntcasts.
Since then there has been a lot of heightened ‘anger’ in the house. Lots of bad vibe.
Not gonna check the aps because we all know already. I’m imagining multiple calls for multiple cancellations. If I’m wrong about that… i’m sure someone will correct me.
What I saw:
Mostly the people that have been making shitty comments about LaTrice made shitty comments about LaTrice.
Mostly the people that have been dismissive of Taylor’s game and habit of staying in her pod were being dismissive of Taylor’s game and pod habits.
Lots of shit about their cooking and cleaning, too. Too much. There’s a noticed common denominator today to all these comments about the cook/clean, has anyone picked it up? It’s either Devens or someone trying to suck up to Devens using Devens previously stated talking points but he’s always right there when it goes down. It makes me question why everyone knows that being a complete dick is safespace with Devens. mmhmm.
Is there microaggression and possible ism in that house? oh yeah. I point it out a lot more than i like. I don’t nope for maybes, and I think analyzing my own subjectivity lensing when determining when the threshold is met for a nope is important. Taking a minute to remove my own projected biases in subjectivity lensing brought me to the above salient factors… a lot of people said a lot of shitty shitty crap today. The red button in my head didn’t go off… but i sneered a lot.
I didn’t nope anyone today. If I noped every person that talked down to LaTrice and belittled her it would be my second season of noping an entire cast. Am I tempted? oh yeah… i don’t like any of them. Am i giving anyone grace? oh no. Do I have a whole lot of yellow cards out there right now? you betcha.
Game wise? Yash is trying to portray himself as a good loyal honest ally. Drew is trying to prove he’s Xover strong. Haley is still complaining about having six bad weeks. Taylor is reading the rule book to see just how much shit she can get away with without being ejected. Dee Devens and Angela are being… them. which of course annoys the living hell out of me. Barrett is trying to prove that a gerbil with no spine is not just a hairy amoeba.
Melody and Mallory… well they were there today.
The number of people that threw HOH this week…. did Grod have snipers on the roof if anyone attempted to actually beat Dee’s time? I see you Grod. I’m trying to be good this year but i see you.
The plan? It’s late Friday night / early Saturday morning. Dee doesn’t have a plan yet. Whatever shit was on her mind Thursday before her first d/r call is not the shit that was on her mind Friday morning before another bunch of d/r calls is not the shit on her mind Friday night after yet another d/r call. THE ONLY TWIST I’M WILLING TO ACCEPT: The house gets split into dyre and fyre fest again. Two of the stunts outside with one of the non stunts as HOH, All of the newbs inside with the other stunt and a newb HOH. Cull them. YEAH THAT’LL NEVER HAPPEN. A few houseguests have already called they’ll do a survivor week. Would not be surprised at all.

no clue. There is something inherently… off in thinking I’m going to gather everyone in a room and say my piece. What is off? It’s not a staff meeting. It’s not the manager telling the team what they did wrong. OF COURSE someone else is going to pipe in with the four fingers the meeting caller has facing themselves while pointing at someone else.

Awwwwwwwwwwwww the kiddies manifesting their teenage social clique again. I think Drew is the one exception among the younger players. He understands that the capsule power was about how he’s playing the game, not because people think he’s funny and cool.
The casuals voted for Drew because they see him supporting the Icons – their favorite players. If they can’t give it to an Icon, do the next best thing and give it to someone they like and are playing with.
If Mallory and Melody had a game brain, they’d figure that out, and use the information to move on from both Drew and Barrett, who are doing nothing but back-stabbing them every chance they get!
Did I imagine it or did BB announce that there will be a big twist this week, maybe coinciding with the special show on Sunday? Maybe wishful thinking, because I’m sure we’d be aware since the show isn’t live.

I’m saying it: to say that AAANYONE in this cast just stays in bed without pointing out that Dee spent 5 of the last 7 days imitating a mattress is stupid. For that matter…. for weeks Devens was not called out for napping for hours and Yash takes up to five naps a day. mmmhmmm
Mallory has asked Barrett if it would be okay to nominate the stunts next week. twice in 36 hours… before veto ceremony. grrrl. asking the icons butt gerbil questions like that is no bueno.
Yash is hiding that he is neutered. The deal he agreed to? Production will enforce it because he agreed and it is a stunt that benefits. THIS is why he is conversing more with Barrett. two fold plan: replace Drew, and suck up to the second placer so he can manipulate HIM to take the shots when he eventually wins.
NOT sure. Alternates that hit the stage in this game suffer one of two fates. They either go out around week 4 or they make jury with a fairly deep run. TINFOIL ME has a lot to say about alternates. I’m not going there i’m just pattern recognition skimming. Basics to the pattern: If the alternate can fit into a character mold they stay to jury. If they flounder… out around week 4. (honestly my alternates knowledge only goes back about 9 seasons, so the pattern is incomplete).
Going into week 8… feels like week 8000…. I don’t think I’m liking my projections. By the end of the Sunday episode i should have a firmer grasp on those projections. But right now it’s looking bad. i might get a nope out soon… but not all of them, and I may end up with another 4th nope really soon.

getting a weird smell. We saw in 21 around week 2 that production held a production notes meeting with the cast to tell them to lay off the slurs. We know this because houseguests were coming up with signals and codewords to yell out to stop the person they were talking to from uttering slurs. Today FEELS like they got told to clean it up a little bit in regards to the shit-talking for their images. just saying.
No surprise the target is shifting in Mallory’s direction. None at all.

She spends too much time talking to the other side in a stuntcast house where the stuntcasts think nobody can talk to anyone other than them.
