7:05pm HOH room – Mallory and Haley
Haley – I’m obviously going to stay true. So what I said with you, but I do kind of want to cut a deal.. Mallory – OK. Haley – if possible, if you’re open for it like your name does get thrown out a lot. And I have been very like, no, I’m not doing it. If you win next week, I would hope you. Mallory – no, 100% no. I appreciate safety so much. Haley – As someone who’s somebody on my word though, if I like. Same with Yash. We were the last two and I said if I win I won’t put you up. He said the same thing to me, but this is such a long game. I’ve already extended the olive branch even before all that, like, I do want to work with you. I think it would be great, especially knowing that somebody that you are close to is on the block and if they go home, I just never want you to feel like you don’t have another outlet. Whatever but I’m staying true to my word.

12:30pm Gym – Melody and Mallory
Melody – what does Lyric think? Mallory – She doesn’t think that she is like she is nervous to be a renom but like she thinks she might be good. Who do you think its going to be? Melody – I don’t know, I hope its Lyric. Mallory – yeah I hope its Lyric too. I just hope its not me. I will go home. Melody – I think it being you would literally be the WORST cast scenario. Because then its me and my two closest girls. Like that is legit the worst f**king case. It might be Barrett but with everything that Haley has been telling me, I feel like its not going to be Barrett. He said that it might be you or Lyric. That’s what he said. If Haley, I feel like its going to be Lyric. Mallory – I really hope so dude. Melody – Just make sure today like you’re just chill, obviously like be nice but don’t be overly nice. Just be yourself. Like don’t go and try to be overly nice to her (Haley) because she is going to be like what the F**k. Like she is going to know something is up. Like I literally have been feeling like this about Lyric like week two like.. Mallory – I do think she’s been a little weird this week.

Big Brother 28 spoilers: Taylor Brown’s veto win forces a fourth nominee, and Haley Thogmartin names her — Lyric is the renom, “the least amount of blood on my hands.” Kamuela “Kamu” Kirk spends twenty minutes pushing Mallory Aurichio instead, and Haley tells him to his face that his push doesn’t feel right. Overnight she vented to Angela Murray and Dee Valladares about Kamu breaking his word, Chuk Anyanwu confirmed the alliance polled unanimous for Lyric, and Drew Campbell’s comp betrayal finally came out. Downstairs, nobody has guessed Lyric’s name — including Lyric.

7:40pm – 11:12pmThe live feeds were blocked for the power of veto competition. When the feeds return, we learn that Taylor won the veto.
Haley – That was the worst case scenario. Angela – that was the worst cast scenario for you? Haley – yeah. Angela – because if he wins.. Haley – I wanted to be keep noms the same whoever wins, veto Taylor, Melody or Taylor and Drew. Drew and then that. But Taylor being here I wanted to be a Drew and the blockbuster Taylor Melody… Taylor go home. F**K! Angela – Melody still won that you know if he wins she can go home. Haley – She’s doesn’t like me. Angela – try to fix it a little bit. Just not fake but fix it a little bit. Haley – in the game I was like yours look so beautiful good. Angela – OK perfect perfect. Haley – That was even before she won but she’s got to win HOH and we have a one in ten chances. Angela – I know, but so I’m like I feel whatever and then I have to transfer myself off. If I get put up. Angela – uh, I don’t want her to win obviously. So we’re not going to go there. But right now let’s focus on what we have at hand and we are getting out to other people. It’s the main target is still there. Haley – Yeah.

2:15pm Kitchen – Devens and Drew
Drew talks to Devens about what kind of veto comp he wants. He says he doesn’t want Mallory to win, because he feels like they’d want him gone #BB28 Devens tells him to win today, so he doesn’t have to worry about block buster.
Devens – if you win today you don’t have to worry about it the rest of the week. Drew – yeah. I would feel a lot more comfortable if it was one of you guys that put me up. But maybe its better. Devens – yeah. Drew – If I win we’ll have to have the Crossover .. just like talk because I have a plan. I have a plan that I think would be funny. Devens – that sounds right up my alley. Drew – its very stupid. Devens – say no more. Devens leaves. Melody joins Drew. Drew – If I win the veto, I am going to wear that motherf**ker all week like I’m an 80’s rapper! Please remove your necklace. Hell no, Hell no! Melody – Ok Flavor Flav!

Veto day on Big Brother 28 opens with the block comparing notes: Melody Morris and Taylor Brown discover Haley Thogmartin gave them the same speech word for word, and Mallory Aurichio guesses at the pawn plan without knowing how right she is. Upstairs, Dee Valladares admits she slipped and told Barrett Pfeiffer that Drew Campbell is the real target, while Rick Devens — secretly holding the Diamond Power of Veto — consoles her that America skipped them because they’re “too powerful.” Haley and Kamuela “Kamu” Kirk lock the plan: keep nominations the same, and Lyric goes up if anyone forces a renom.

Big Brother 28 spoilers: nominated alongside Melody Morris and Taylor Brown, Drew Campbell spends the night hunting for reassurance. He tells Kamuela “Kamu” Kirk that Haley Thogmartin gave him no heads up and that her refusal to pull him off with the veto makes him a nominee, not a pawn — then asks Kamu directly whether he’d use the veto to save him. Kamu says he would. Upstairs, Haley walks Drew through the same pawn reasoning and he leaves saying there’s no bad blood. Downstairs, Mallory Aurichio, Melody and Drew close the night on old punishments and a Nine Inch Nails song about control.

Haley Thogmartin, Rick Devens, Chuk Anyanwu, Angela Murray and Dee Valladares lock down the Big Brother 28 HOH room and plan the week: Drew Campbell goes up as a “pawn” who is actually the target. Angela architects the blindside — reassure Drew, keep nominations the same if anyone wins the Power of Veto, and let him walk into it. Haley replays quoting Melody Morris’s trash talk back to her face, Devens confirms he and Kamuela “Kamu” Kirk both want Drew out, and Yash Patel has turned on Drew after learning about the Four Seasons alliance. Mallory Aurichio is safe from nominations — but nobody promised her anything about a backdoor.

Haley Thogmartin runs back-to-back one-on-ones the morning after winning Head of Household on Big Brother 28, and nearly everyone leaves with a different story. LaTrice “Lala” Verrett learns Taylor Brown was campaigning for Jason De Puy. Rick Devens gets the full debrief and tells her to keep driving wedges in. Barrett Pfeiffer gets floated as a pawn and refuses. Drew Campbell leaves convinced he is safe. Meanwhile Kamuela “Kamu” Kirk pitches Haley, then Dee Valladares, on scrapping the pawn plan entirely and making Drew the target so Lyric can replace him in the Tool Shed. Barrett walks into that conversation midway through.
