Big Brother 28 spoilers: Lala’s first morning as Head of Household, hours after outlasting Kamu on The Wall, with nominations this afternoon and the veto tomorrow.

The Tool Shed spent it eating itself. Chuk and Devens ran the vote maths in the storage room and got nowhere. Barrett and Devens compared notes and got closer than anyone – Devens said out loud that it’s Angela or Dee lying, then shrugged it off, because neither of them has power this week.

Upstairs, the line formed. Taylor coached Lala on what to say and pitched Barrett and Drew as nominees, calling them the arms to Devens’ head. Yash handed her the vote count and told her to use it. And at 12:09, Lala asked Barrett to sit on the block as a pawn, told him she needs to cut off the head of the snake, and never said whose head it was.

BB28 Time Capsule tally

Devens: “I used the brown rice one, which is probably not the greatest.”
Barrett: “One more cottage cheese though.”
Devens: “This day’s going to get even more interesting if no one gets to talk to Lala.”
Barrett: “I’ve got to say, you’re really hindering us right now.”
Devens: “I’m telling you. I already saw effing Chuk try to go up there. I guess he didn’t realize she was in the DR.”

Barrett: “It was interesting last night being in the have-not room with Haley and Chuk, because they finally decided to talk game with me now that they’re not in power.”
Devens: “Oh yeah, how’d that go?”
Barrett: “Great.”
Devens: “What’s their thoughts on that?”
Barrett: “They just were trying to figure out what happened yesterday. And I overheard, when I walked out after the DR, it was Kamu, Chuk and Haley and they were all whispering. And they’re all just genuinely confused.”
Barrett: “And I heard Kamu bring up the Tool Shed, and I’m like, does he actually believe in it? Like, have I been misreading Kamu this whole time?”
Barrett: “Yeah, they were just trying to figure out who started that yesterday.”

Barrett: “But also Chuk was like – Chuk feels like he’s good from nominations regardless.”
Devens: “Of course.”
Barrett: “And he’s like, I’ll put in a good word for y’all. I’m like, okay, whatever, man. Yeah, thanks, dude.”
Barrett: “Haley thinks she should probably go up. But I also think I might go up.”
Devens: “And me.”
Barrett: “I think everyone’s kind of like, maybe. We’ll see how it goes.”

Devens: “When I came back from using the bathroom last night to go to bed, they were all in there talking. It was like a little before you got there. And Dee and Angela were like, they’re talking about you. They want to know what happened with the vote.”
Devens: “I’m like, I should be the least of their worries. At least I’m telling them the truth about stuff.”
Devens: “Like, if they believe each other, then they know Angela or Dee’s lying. But they’re not in power, so it really doesn’t matter.”
Barrett: “They really think Angela’s lying.”
Devens: “Is that right?”
Barrett: “Yeah. Yash was thinking Angela’s lying. Chuk was thinking Angela’s lying.”

Devens: “But I’m like, that was a good time for us to do it. At least we’re on the side with Lala of the vote.”
Devens: “And it makes us look less connected to any of that big squad. We can just be like, we’re trying to figure out what’s going on as much as you are. We’re just in the middle.”
Barrett: “I know.”
Devens: “It’s like, we’ve never gone after any of your people. That’s my pitch. You didn’t put Lala up. Like, I never went after you. I’ve never put anyone up except for Rome.”
Barrett: “You didn’t put Kamu up?”
Devens: “No.”

Devens: “I don’t know, because logically I’m like, yeah, why wouldn’t she? But then Drew says that Kamu told him that she swore on the Bible that she’d never put him up, or something like that. Like back when he was HOH – which seems like a weird thing to do for someone that put you on the block.”
Barrett: “Also, swearing on the Bible is weird. It doesn’t seem like a thing that they would do together. Especially because Kamu would only swear on his dog yesterday that he didn’t vote that way. Which is still weird.”
Devens: “Why are we swearing on things? Yeah, this is Big Brother.”
Devens: “But even Drew, yesterday morning, he’s like, I asked Kamu to swear on the Bible and he wouldn’t do it. And I was like, Drew, don’t ask anyone to swear on the Bible anymore. Stop doing that.”
Devens: “Why would you ask a Christian to do that during Big Brother? Or anyone to do that during Big Brother. This isn’t a courtroom.”

Barrett: “I don’t know. Oh, my God. Yeah, I’d feel better if I was up there with Haley.”
Devens: “I’m not worried about it either way. It’s like, whatever.”
Barrett: “But I can’t imagine she feels great with Kamu, after Kamu was like, you and Jason are the biggest threats. And that was a complete lie.”
Barrett: “And then Haley hadn’t liked her since day one, then they squashed their beef. Very convenient timing.”

Barrett: “Are you gonna name names?”
Devens: “I don’t want to.”
Barrett: “I don’t either. But I might be vague and just be like, I feel like there’s people that have been very comfy.”

Devens: “Apparently she told Angela she wants to talk to her, like, first and last.”
Devens: “I asked both of them to put in a good word and they’re both like, yeah, for sure. But after Angela gets out of there, I’ll have a better idea. Check in with her – like, what direction should we go with this.”
Devens: “I think I’ll probably, with Lala, be like, hey, I would love, if you’re going to put me up, I would love just kind of a heads up so I’m not sitting there shocked.”
Devens: “And then it’s like, we can lie about the power. Be like, hey, this is a big deal. You’re doing your HOH. I don’t want to mess that up.”
Barrett: “I guess you can’t say you have a power if you don’t.”
Devens: “Are you not even allowed to do that?”
Barrett: “No. But I think if you’re vague like that you can do it. Maybe that’s too far. Then you don’t use the word power.”
Devens: “I always forget about that.”
Barrett: “But if you’ve got a power you can still threaten them.”
Devens: “Can I lie about that?”

Devens: “Someone’s getting power today. I hope it’s one of us, or someone we’re not working with shows up in a leotard.”
Devens: “She’s been in there a long time. She might come out with a leotard. That’d be kind of funny. I mean, interesting start to the day.”
Devens: “Dude, her going around in the robe and everything. You knew that was going to happen. I’m just like, it’s so funny.”
Barrett: “I was still thinking about the other day when we were saying our favorite Big Brother quotes, and she quoted herself.”
Devens: “That’s so true. That’s so true.”
Devens: “Maybe she’ll get, like, a crazy case of HOH-itis and just go nuts.”

Devens: “And I’m not exactly sure what Tay wants to do. I mean, she seemed pretty excited to go against the cool kids in that vote.”
Devens: “Although Chuk’s off limits, I guess. That makes it more difficult. So it’ll be, like, the cool kids and me.”
Devens: “What Tay did say that makes me nervous for us is that she doesn’t want to put the same people on the block. She’s tired of the same people going up on the block. It’s like, well, if she’s going for all new people, there’s only seven of us. There is literally seven.”
Devens: “And it’s like, ooh, that’s not good. Because I thought she wasn’t really fond of Melody, wasn’t really fond of Drew. That’s who Chuk was going to pitch to her, he said, was Melody.”
Devens: “It’s like, you know, I would love it to not be us. That would be beautiful.”
Devens: “Well, we’ll see. We’ll check in later. If we ever get to talk. Hopefully it’ll be a late nom ceremony.”

10:26 AM – Chuk and Devens (Storage Room)

Chuk: “I’ve never not heard you not talk.”
Devens: “Oh, I’m just tired this morning.”
Chuk: “There’s no – you’re always talking.”
Devens: “I’m tripping.”
Chuk: “How are you?”
Devens: “I’m still trying to figure out who’s lying about being on the wrong side of that vote.”
Chuk: “It has you thinking, right?”
Devens: “It has me annoyed because -“
Chuk: “It has me pissed off.”
Devens: “Because I’m like, I thought everyone knew about this vote. And clearly two people did know about it and are claiming that they didn’t.”

Devens: “That’s why I said it right away. I wasn’t trying to hide anything.”
Chuk: “And I respect that. Remember our meetings up there? There was one meeting where they potentially wanted to make Lyric number one target, and me and you were like, very voiceless on that. It’s so dumb to make Lyric number one target and keep Melody, who’s clearly gunning for – I’m going to be on the block and Melody’s HOH.”

Chuk: “That f—ing bullshit, the f—ing shit we just did yesterday, I knew there was two people I needed to last longer.”
Chuk: “I was ready to f—ing die.”
Devens: “Oh, on the wall?”
Chuk: “Dude, when Barrett dropped, I knew, I was like, Chuk, you don’t got shit to do. But I said, I cannot, there’s no way I can take the chance with Melody and Mallory being on there. I’m going to go on the f—ing block.”

Chuk: “And so remember me and you were very voiceless in that meeting. You said if Melody still being here takes the shot at her potentially putting three of us on the block. And for me, I’m like, if Melody’s still here, yes, that, and I’m going to be on the f—ing block.”

Chuk: “So my confusion is where people got this, the vote changed. What world would it change? And what side of the house are they referring to when there’s no one on the other side of the house, essentially?”
Devens: “What do you mean?”
Chuk: “Like, there’s people in the middle and there’s people on the other side of the house. Melody, Mallory. And then you have your people in the middle. Yash, you have your Barrett, you have your Lala, you have your Taylor. Those are who I consider right there on that middle point.”
Devens: “Right?”
Chuk: “Then you have us. So the other side of the house are essentially two, maybe two to even three people.”

Chuk: “So my confusion is where did things get lost in translation? Who’s lying to me? Who truly wanted Lyric gone?”
Chuk: “And here’s the thing. We’re core, we’re alliance. If you wanted Lyric gone, bring that to us and truly give us the reasons. I would have been like, hey, if that’s what we want to do as a core, let’s make sure we’re on the same page. Because the fact that no one was on the same page is worrying.”
Devens: “Right.”
Chuk: “But then here’s the other fact – the fact that someone is now saying that, no, no, no, I didn’t want to.”
Devens: “Right. Two people.”
Chuk: “Exactly. Correct.”
Devens: “And you still don’t know who that is.”
Chuk: “I don’t think anyone knows. And I think we’re all trying to sniff it out.”

Chuk: “It’s weird. Dude, I’m thinking of all different scenarios. And I talked to Yash upstairs yesterday and we were just playing checkers, and I just really wanted to get his understanding, because Yash says he voted to evict Melody.”
Devens: “Right. Because it’s the people, it’s you, Kamu.”
Chuk: “Who all voted to evict Melody? Me, Kamu, Yash, Angela, Dee.”
Devens: “Who else am I missing? I think that’s – it was five, right? I think it was five. So I think that’s everyone.”
Chuk: “And so all of us are – everyone’s saying they voted to evict Melody. So now it’s truly like, you have to look at it from a bird’s eye view. Who would Lyric staying in this house hurt their game?”

Feeds flip briefly to Drew and Berrett

Drew: “Because you know she’s good, she’s not going up. Her main goal is probably to get a guy out this week, and it’s not gonna be Chuk. Or probably not Yash either.”
Barrett: “She’s worried about Yash.”
Drew: “Who is?”
Barrett: “Angela.”
Drew: “Is it Lala? No, but is Lala worried about Yash?”
Barrett: “I don’t know.”
Drew: “But maybe she could put him up.”
Barrett: “Angela thinks that Yash would put her up.”
Drew: “Who knows, man? Maybe Angela will clutch out for us.”
Barrett: “Yeah. No, it’ll be fun. And if we get the backyard, I’m going to be chill with it. I think I’m at the point in this game where I’m like, let’s just do it.”

10:44 AM – Chuk and Devens (Storage Room)

Chuk: “As much as I wanted to hold on, how long they still held on. She killed.”
Devens: “Oh, I know.”
Chuk: “Yeah, dude, everyone said I kept moving. I can’t wait to watch it back.”
Devens: “I saw you.”
Chuk: “You saw me?”
Devens: “Oh, yeah. Every, like, three seconds. And then your legs.”
Chuk: “I was like, how are they holding on for a while? I kept going.”
Devens: “Dude, that stuff was crazy.”

Chuk: “People are trying to sniff out just truly who – would Lyric not have benefited their game?”
Devens: “I’m trying to figure it out too, because I feel thrown under the bus. Because it’s like, wait a second, I thought this was a house vote, and then two people are pretending like they’re not a part of it, and I’m like, are you throwing me out to take all the hit on this?”
Chuk: “For you, you heard that it changed to Lyric. By any chance, do you know who told you that?”
Devens: “It was, so it came -“
Chuk: “Because that’s truly the, where did this flip? And me and Haley were talking, we’re like, if this is a miscommunication, she’s like, okay, fine. But truly not in this house and how well our group has been able to communicate.”

Chuk: “Rome and Jason, it feels like we failed an easy test, while Rome and Jason were hard tests that we passed.”
Chuk: “How can communication be so vital and so great when we’re trying to get those guys, but this easy eviction where Lyric wasn’t even the first three noms – this is a f—ing re-nom – was the last person to be the target. That’s where it’s like, no.”

Chuk: “Melody, right? There was no inkling that it could be Lyric. And no one ever told her that, outside of whenever they had that conversation of potentially could Lyric be target number one, and we were like, f— no. You’re f—ing kidding me. And so that’s where it’s a little worrying.”

Devens: “Well, here’s where I’m tripping. I don’t know who’s lying about it. I assume you’re not, right? Obviously, we’re having this conversation, but I feel like I’m being set up. So I’m very nervous that me saying anything is going to be used to just further throw me under the bus.”
Chuk: “My thing is just the fact that I know someone -“
Devens: “A lot of those people were the ones I heard it from, in terms of how there’s the other side, I mean -“
Chuk: “People in the middle.”
Devens: “Right. It was just like, hey, this is the word from everything, and I was like, okay. And this is like right before the ceremony.”
Devens: “Very much under the impression that this came from inside the house. You know what I mean? So that’s why I’m like, why? I’m so nervous to say anything because I feel like I’m getting set up by the whole thing. Because it’s like, I still don’t understand why people are lying about it.”

Devens: “I was fully under the impression that you guys were in on this. That’s why right afterwards, I’m coming up to you guys and going – you were a little shocked – I voted Lyric. Like, what are you guys – and I was surprised that you guys were not on that train.”
Chuk: “When that happened, I looked at Haley.”
Devens: “And then I was way more surprised when it was like, wait, five people voted Melody. And then now people are saying, no. Julie only said three.”
Chuk: “Dude, someone’s lying to me and I have to get to the bottom of it more so.”

Chuk: “I truly just want to know what happened in our – where someone felt the need to flip things or tell someone else in the middle and have them cascade that. Because I could understand if they’re like, hey, I really want to get Lyric out, but bring that to us. We talk about every f—ing thing.”
Devens: “And that’s the thing. I don’t feel like any of you were hard set on anything. I felt that could have been an easy discussion, which is why this is all the more confusing.”
Chuk: “Especially the two people who were nominated – they’re not in our alliance, so that’s an easy decision. When it came to the ones last week, those were like the hardest ones, right?”
Chuk: “I don’t understand how this one so small just got underway, but it also presents just a fear of – is someone now in our alliance looking inwards completely.”
Devens: “100%.”
Chuk: “Looking inwards completely. And I’m like, yo, are we on the same page? What’s going on? And I think we’re going to have more discussions today.”

Chuk: “And Lala being HOH is like, after what happened, truly was like – because, you know, how she is kind of, everyone’s on the same page with her in the house.”
Devens: “And I know you guys have a good relationship. Maybe you get more clarity, but it’s definitely something I want to, like, before I start.”
Devens: “Again, I don’t know who – I’m like you, I don’t know who I can trust in our group. It’s worrying. Of all the people, Haley’s the only one that I’m like, I know where she’s at.”
Devens: “And then I want to talk to Lala just because I just want to have an open discussion with her, because I’m afraid someone’s going to use any information I have against me with her. So I want to talk directly to her.”

Devens: “Because I do feel like that guy – I don’t know if you’ve seen The Fugitive, but that’s how I feel. I’m like, it’s the one-armed man.”
Devens: “Because if I was trying to hide something, I would have tried to hide something. I’ve been straight up about everything.”

Chuk: “My thing has always been, for us, if any of us is HOH. If I’m HOH, if you’re HOH again.”
Devens: “You and me both, dude. You and me both.”
Chuk: “Because his abs aren’t hurting like mine. I was like, dude, I was so nervous. And then Drew was talking, I said, these guys are about to go for hours. Because that comp, dude, I couldn’t even speak. Even speaking, I was like, if I speak I’m gonna f—ing fall. Is your lower back killing you? That’s what’s hurting me the most. Hands are fine. Everyone’s complaining about their hands. My hands are fine too. It’s just the lower back.”
Chuk: “I gotta put my hands up here and down.”
Devens: “Yeah, I can’t do that very well. These are numb, but it’s like, I didn’t even feel it that much in my back, except when we were all the way over.”
Chuk: “It’s that, and you’re trying to push. And you’re activating that so much.”
Devens: “And maybe also because when I was cold, I was tensing up.”

Devens: “You didn’t shower for a long time. I felt so bad. I said, dude, you’re shaking. And then I had, like, a four-minute shower because of the have-not ceremony. I literally just got in.”
Chuk: “I’m glad you’re not have-not, so you can at least have a hot shower today. I had to enjoy that shower. I said, man, I only have it for such a long time.”

Chuk: “But I think we’re in an interesting predicament right now.”
Devens: “We are. And I know we have time. And that’s why I’m just kind of like, I want to get my cards in order and find out that I’m not being set up by somebody. Because I’m like you. I don’t know who the two people were.”
Chuk: “I don’t know who the two people, and I talked to everyone yesterday in terms of, who’d you vote for?”
Devens: “Exactly.”
Chuk: “And the fact that I talked to everyone and no one maybe confessed hurts my heart. I know someone’s lying to me and they’ve lied to me in my face and it could be someone I’m working with. Now that’s scary. Because does that mean if someone I’m working with in our alliance is HOH again, I’m gonna see my face? Just because now there’s a level of mistrust.”
Devens: “And that’s why, if I had something to hide, I would have hidden it. That’s why right away – Barrett was very honest about his vote too.”
Chuk: “Right, exactly.”

Devens: “A couple things. The reason I’m being a little holed up is because I don’t know who to trust. I definitely want to have an open conversation with Lala so she knows where I’m at, so it can’t be used against me before noms. And then after noms, however it goes, it’ll be more comfortable.”
Devens: “I understand all your concerns and agree, but then I also feel like, am I personally being set up by somebody?”
Chuk: “I know, and I totally agree with that. And the other side of it is, for the people who are letting us know that they heard it from some people in the house – of course you know who it was. Because there’s not 80 people in this house.”

Devens: “And you know from our conversations that when you tell me something, or Kamu tells me something, then I’m just like, cool, that’s good. I’m not going around to everybody else and being like, hey, they said this, they said this.”
Chuk: “That’s you to a T. You’re someone where you don’t need the constant reassurance.”
Devens: “It’s because I was fine with all three of them. It’s like, great. Perfect. Whatever you guys want.”
Chuk: “In our meetings, you are always even-keeled, where you’re like, hey, I’m down with whatever you guys do. You guys know I got your back. So what you say there, dude, I wholeheartedly agree. That’s who you are.”
Chuk: “And so whoever cascaded that information for it to get to you – that’s just my worry, whoever that was. Because now I’m just so shocked. It still blows my mind, dude.”

Chuk: “I was telling her she was fine. Yash told me he was telling Lyric that she was fine.”
Chuk: “And the fact that this left – I literally was like, it’s going to be eight to three. Melody, you are evicted from the house.”
Chuk: “Dude, I couldn’t even hug her. I’m like, I’m sorry. You should not be here.”
Devens: “And now there’s all these rumors after the fact about, like, she wanted to go, or she did all this. And I’m like, I don’t think so. That’s not my impression.”
Chuk: “You know, when she got back from the Blockbuster, when she told me in my ear, as she hugged me, she said, Chuk, am I still safe? I couldn’t tell her, yeah, you’re still safe. This is like, we’re live. Boom, boom, boom.”
Chuk: “The fact that she told me that, dude – she was such a great friend. You are not the target. And for us to let that slip away.”

Chuk: “And then now it’s like, the whole Melody’s not gonna win HOH – I don’t say that. I never say anyone in this house is not gonna win HOH.”
Devens: “No, there’s some random thing.”
Chuk: “There’s some random putt-putt, there’s so many random things in this game. So to them saying, like, Melody’s not going to win HOH is like, dude, I’m sorry. Lala just f—ing showed all these big boys that, hey, I got muscle too.”
Devens: “Yeah, no one was betting on Lala except Lala.”
Chuk: “Literally, she has muscle too. Remember, so it’s not like she was someone who was just super skinny and withstood all the big muscle guys.”
Devens: “Right, we thought maybe Lyric or Mallory would be the only ones that could do that. We kept saying it.”
Chuk: “We kept saying it. It was going to be either Lyric or Mallory.”

Chuk: “Lyric just went home – someone who would never put us all up, and someone who we could have told, hey, don’t put this person up. She was like, Chuk, tell me what to do and I’ll do it. And it’s just like, why send someone home who we know, if they went HOH, will not put any of our people up? How people came to that thing baffles my mind.”
Chuk: “This game is truly expect the unexpected, and I’m going to fight my way to make sure that Melody does not win an HOH. I held on to that f—ing bar and kept looking right.”
Devens: “She overperformed, too. I thought I’d last longer than her. That was one of my goals. And it was just like, not even close. She was on there a long time after I left.”
Chuk: “She was there a long time. And I remember about to drop before she dropped. Then I got a second life.”

Chuk: “And I said, there’s no way. I’m so loyal to my people. For someone to not see that Melody would come for someone in our alliance – now I’m a little worried. Now I’m so worried, because who do you trust? I really wanted to just talk to you. I was like, man, my boy Devens is not saying a word.”
Devens: “No, and that’s because I’m skeeved out too. I’m like, who are these two people? It’s one of these five people that I trust and been working with since week one.”
Chuk: “Why rock the boat week four?”
Devens: “Yeah, exactly. It’s been going so smooth.”
Chuk: “Why rock the boat week four? We get to the end and we battle it out. Now, having that level of mistrust makes people want to look other places. Now it’s like, can we trust?”

Chuk: “And I know we’re definitely going to have a meeting all together, where we truly have to just – yo, if you’re here. My type of meeting that I would love to see is us all together and whoever cascaded that fesses up. This is BB. People are going to protect their own game. But if we could move forward from that, and you give us the reasons why, and you make sure you assure us those reasons aren’t that you’re trying to come after us five – I can maybe even move forward with a little bit more trust.”
Chuk: “But right now, until that meeting’s had. And not making sure you’re walking around like a detective. You don’t want to be acting like a detective, because now it’s like, dude, this game is so complex.”
Devens: “Totally. And that’s why, like I said, I’m also trying to figure stuff out, but I’ll feel better after the conversation with Lala. And then after noms. If this was a setup, at least I’ll know that it either worked or didn’t work to get me up there. But the cards are dealt at that point.”
Chuk: “Anything I hear, I’ll cascade that to you, dude.”
Devens: “Me too.”
Chuk: “It sucks how week four, loyalty’s starting to be questioned. Because this thing was so easy.”
Devens: “Yeah, because I would believe it was a miscommunication and that I got the wrong impression, except that two people are lying about it. So now I’m like, this is something more than I just got bad information.”
Devens: “Was this always the plan, to put it on me? I know that’s like big hubris to make it all about me, but that’s where my head’s at.”
Chuk: “I’m in that exact same boat.”

11:45 AM – Lala and Taylor (HOH Room)

Taylor: “So listen more than you talk. Just listen. Just listen.”
Taylor: “Are you going to tell people who you’re considering up for nomination?”
Lala: “What? Tell them that?”
Taylor: “Are you going to tell the few people that you are considering them, or you’re not going to tell them?”
Lala: “I don’t know.”
Taylor: “Okay. I would say if you want to get information out of somebody and you’re actually considering them for nomination -“
Lala: “Tell them.”
Taylor: “Tell them.”
Lala: “Just to have that authenticity, that openness.”
Taylor: “I just want to be honest with you, baby. Just be yourself. I am considering you. And see what you can get up out of them.”

Taylor: “I would say you probably want to, with Drew – when you tell Drew that you’re probably considering him, just let him know. Lala: “But because you are in the position that you are in, have you heard anything that I need to know about? Because the other week I was just, like, I was dumbfounded. Everybody was just ready to just throw me away. And it hurt my feelings.”
Yash: “I mean, nothing significant from an individual. I don’t know what they told you when they nominated you, but I think they didn’t think you could win.”
Lala: “I know they didn’t.”
Yash: “Which is why they were comfortable nominating you, knowing you couldn’t bite back.”
Yash: “I don’t know who’s the ringleader of all that. Who nominated you?”
Lala: “Kamu.”
Yash: “It was Kamu? So probably it’s the main culprits there, right? Like some combination of Kamu, Haley, Chuk.”

Yash: “Because what I found interesting about the vote was that Devens, it didn’t go with them. Which can also – I was telling this to Melody and Mallory two weeks ago, when we were all talking, like our side, about our outlook on their side. I was like, I don’t know if Devens is with them. It was my gut. I was like, I don’t know if he’s with them. And then I think this vote kind of proved that. So out of the six of them, I personally trust Devens.”
Yash: “But at the same time, if any of them take the shot, I’m cool with it. I have no preference either way.”
Lala: “Okay.”

Lala: “Now, the only thing is, I know that it was said that Melody said that if she had it, she’d put me up on the block.”
Yash: “Oh, really?”
Lala: “Yeah.”
Yash: “That’s news to me.”
Lala: “Yeah.”
Yash: “Really?”
Lala: “Yeah. Haley said that, but I don’t trust things Haley said.”
Yash: “That, to me, is an unreliable source.”
Lala: “Yeah, I know. So that’s why I’m just trying to see if it was said anywhere else, just to be fair.”

Yash: “And another thing I’d keep an eye out for is that vote situation. This is why you winning is kind of perfect, information-wise. Because you know two of the four of them are lying. We know they lied, because they lied to Haley. But now it’ll be interesting to see who’s going to reverse it and say, I lied, I was with you on the vote. Because it’s going to drag them out.”
Lala: “Without a doubt.”
Yash: “Two out of four of them. So that will be interesting to see.”
Yash: “And I think too, if that happens, in my opinion – auto untrustworthy. Like if you lie about that, that means clearly you’re just going to lie to whoever’s in power.”
Lala: “Correct.”
Yash: “So that’s a big benefit to you winning, and something that you should keep an eye out for.”
Lala: “Yeah, yeah, yeah.”
Yash: “But in terms of who to put up, I trust you. Trust your gut. That’s one of those no wrong answer.”

Devens: “I figured I might as well go ahead and call you. Yeah, y’all said I was good to come up.”

Devens: “I was sitting there going, I want to outlast Lala. I only came up about an hour and a half short.”
Lala: “But wait, why was everybody going, oh, Lala not going to last. Lala not going to be up there long.”
Devens: “No, we just knew you were a badass. I was like, if I can outlast that, I’ll be good.”
Lala: “Not even close. Not even in the same universe.”

Lala: “Well, I mean, what do you have to offer me? What do you have to say to me? What do you have to give me as nuggets of knowledge?”

Devens: “So I feel like we’ve run very parallel games. I feel like we rock with a lot of the same people.”

Devens: “I’ve obviously never been after you, kept you off the block, feel the same way. I feel like you’ve been a great personal support for me with the juju stuff. I tried to reciprocate. I know you were sad on your birthday.”
Lala: “I appreciate it.”
Devens: “I feel like we’ve had a good thing. You certainly have nothing to worry about from me. When I was in power, I think I showed that. If I get power again, it’d be the same thing.”
Lala: “I appreciate that.”

Devens: “Your people – like, what I perceive as your people. Taylor is someone I’ve rocked with from the beginning. She and I, maybe the second or third night of being have-nots – we have our have-not thing.”
Lala: “I know. It brings people closer.”
Devens: “It does indeed. And so Taylor’s not someone I’d ever go after. Angela, not someone I’d ever go after, who I think you rock with. Yash, someone that I personally work with – you know, not just because he’s my barber. So I think our interests align in a big way. For now and the future of the game.”

Devens: “In terms of going forward, I love everyone in this house. Obviously. But when it comes to jury – I think you just have more responsibilities. As a parent, there’s more stuff. That’s the type of person I’d be partial to. Obviously, gameplay would come into it. It’s not Big Brother charity, but you’re playing the game. So I think you got that type of stuff covered.”

Devens: “So even though we haven’t talked that much – when you came in here on my HOH, it was like, no doubt, right? I got you. Not a concern. And that’s how it is going forward. I don’t think you’d ever have to worry about me. And if you wanted to work more closely, I’m open to it.”

Devens: “I think people either don’t know where to put me in the house, which I think is the most accurate, or they put me in this other group. And even yesterday’s vote – I’m still trying to figure out what happened.”
Devens: “People don’t know what did what. And even the second week, it’s like, I’m not trying to just put people – there’s a certain way to play the game. I’m trying to play that in the right way, and the way that my family’s gonna feel good about it.”
Lala: “Yes, yes.”

Devens: “But yeah, I’m totally game and open. I’d love to stay off the block, obviously. And at that point, we’ve kept each other off the block. I think that’s a huge building block, in terms of going forward.”
Lala: “Correct. I agree.”
Devens: “So I’d love to know what I can do for you, or where your head’s at, or anything like that.”
Lala: “No, I’m good. I just wanted to talk to you and I just wanted to see where you were. And that’s all. And I appreciate it. I appreciate that we are on the same page.”

Lala: “And going forward, if you would be so kind – I don’t want to see the block. I don’t want to sit up. I don’t want to be the renom. I don’t want that.”
Devens: “Yeah. You would not be someone I have in mind. And even before – obviously I would make that deal out of self-preservation, but even before that, just the way the game’s played out, I hope that I’ve demonstrated that that would not be what I’m trying to do anyway. That you’d be safe with me for sure.”
Devens: “And I would love to work more closely. I think we kind of have, through intermediaries.”

Barrett: “I don’t think anyone was expecting LaTrice to pull that out, but there you were. Against Kamu, the MMA fighter.”
Lala: “I know. That was crazy.”
Barrett: “Yep. Right after he said, I’m here all night.”

Lala: “No. And I was like, oh, wow. Okay. Let me make a deal. You’re here all night? Because I was like, yeah, I’m not. Because I could feel myself, like, getting at that end where I was just like, oh, come on, do you have any more?”
Lala: “And literally, I said, do the countdown. And I started to count, because every time we tilted, I did a countdown. 1,001, 1,002. And I said, do the countdown, baby. And I started the countdown. Next thing I heard, boom. And I was like, oh, my God. Oh, my God. Iconic.”

Barrett: “Yeah, how are you feeling?”
Lala: “I still – it feels, it still feels surreal. But I feel amazing. And I’m just like, I’m really thankful, because I was praying very hard about the whole thing. So I’m very, very excited.”
Lala: “But let me know how you feel. What are you feeling right now in the game and how everything’s going?”

Barrett: “Yeah, I feel like in the game so far, it’s been a lot of the same group that’s been in power. And I feel like that’s one thing I loved about you winning – it feels like a shift in that maybe a little bit, or at least something refreshing, new.”
Barrett: “I feel like the first few weeks we were all kind of on the same page of just like, it’s the same people running up here. So if anything, I’m just glad that I think everyone’s kind of feeling like, okay, this is new. This is a new game. And especially yesterday was kind of a different vote.”
Lala: “That was very interesting. Totally.”
Barrett: “Yeah, and I’m glad I got to talk to – I talked to Taylor a lot yesterday. I mean, Taylor’s who I really talked to the most leading up to that vote. And then afterwards, I was like, did you tell Lala? Because I didn’t know what that vote was going to come out as. It was just like, okay, I think this is happening. I think this is happening.”
Barrett: “So everything just feels – I feel like today feels much different than two days ago felt going into it. But I’m happy it’s that way.”

Lala: “Well, I know that you have relationships on both sides. I know that.”
Barrett: “I would say that.”
Lala: “I know that you’re kind of cool, like down the middle anyway. Which is nice for you.”
Barrett: “Yeah. It’s nice. I wouldn’t say that I love everybody, but yeah.”
Lala: “No, I’m just saying cool down the middle, meaning you get along on both sides easily. Generally. So, but you’re not cool with everybody.”
Barrett: “I wouldn’t say so. It’s also something I talked to Taylor about. I think we both saw there were groupings of people that have been very comfy. And I wasn’t afraid to make them uncomfy, if that makes any sense.”
Lala: “Well, maybe I’m missing something. What group of people?”
Barrett: “I think there’s at least one bigger group of people that I see that I wouldn’t have been afraid to at least acknowledge a bit.”
Lala: “Am I missing something?”

Barrett: “Well, there’s just some people in this house that I feel like I can never talk game with, or if I do, I have to basically beg them to. Or if they’re up here in the HOH room, it’s basically just, here’s what’s going to happen. I don’t want your input, anything like that. Here’s my game plan. It’s just what it is.”
Lala: “Okay, so we’re talking about Haley, talking about Chuk, we’re talking about who else?”
Barrett: “Not really Chuk.”
Lala: “I like Chuk a lot. Not Chuk, right?”
Barrett: “I would say maybe Kamu a little bit. Because I feel like with him especially, it was very much a game of, here’s my plan. I’m going to go after Jason. And then if it’s not Jason, it’s Mallory. And then he was like, Mallory said she would go after you – me specifically – which is not true. I just don’t believe that that’s true.”
Lala: “Okay.”
Barrett: “And then him saying that everyone said you and him were the biggest threats in the house. Not really. No way. No way.”
Lala: “I was like, huh? How was I a big threat? I don’t even understand how that was the case. I didn’t show any threatening ways at all.”
Barrett: “So there’s been a couple of times. And then even when – Haley was HOH. When you and me talked on the balcony that one day.”
Lala: “Yeah, yeah, yeah.”
Barrett: “That same day she was like, I don’t need to be paranoid about you talking to other people. And I’m like, do we talk?”

Lala: “Well, I hope to be able to help that situation out.”
Barrett: “You’ve got my 1000% support in those endeavors. I hope you know that.”
Lala: “I do. And I appreciate you with that.”

Lala: “I’m going to ask something of you.”
Barrett: “Yeah.”
Lala: “And it is definitely something that is an ask.”

Lala: “I really – because you don’t really have any threatening things on either side. If I put you up as a pawn, you would be safe. Because nobody’s voting you out. And you are definitely not who I’m looking to target at all. Because in the end, I need to get her.”

Drew: “I know. That was very exciting. I was super excited. I know my mom will be happy.”

Drew: “I feel like the past couple of weeks, my name’s been dragged a lot.”
Lala: “As mine has.”
Drew: “As yours has. And I just learned that people think that I don’t like you. Which is very confusing to me, because that is not at all what I genuinely feel. I thought we were okay, and I feel like people are trying to paint a certain image.”
Drew: “I have a feeling that you probably are going to put me up because of it. I’m a little confused, because I thought we were really cool. And I viewed you as like the mom in the house. I mean, you have the same name as my mom.”
Drew: “So right now I feel kind of burned by a lot of people in this house. So I’m kind of on my own. I kind of feel like a free agent.”
Drew: “I just hope that you don’t put Melody or Mallory, because I feel like they’ve been on the block already too many times. But I would love if I don’t go up, obviously.”
Drew: “I think I have been pinned as untrustworthy, which, due to my own actions of trying to find a group – being the youngest person in here, I’m trying to find something. But I feel like I’m being, not used, but painted as a fall guy a lot now.”

Lala: “Last week, when I was up on the block, I just felt disposable. I felt like everybody just – oh, throw Lala up. Throw Lala up. Oh, Lala can go up. Lala can go home. We don’t care. And that’s totally how I felt. I was like, oh, wow. I didn’t realize that’s what people thought about me. The people I thought were in my corner. And my feelings were hurt.”
Drew: “And I am in the same boat as you with last week. I never thought I would have gone up, and I felt like if I didn’t win the Blockbuster, I was going home regardless.”
Lala: “Wow.”
Drew: “And I was told different things from the people in power about who the main target was. But I also need to stop talking. You know what I mean?”
Lala: “You do.”
Drew: “So I’m not even going to say what it was.”

Lala: “I think one thing that I’ve seen and heard is just that Drew goes – Drew be flitting around everywhere. Drew just be talking, and he here, there, there. And when you’re explaining why, I hear it. I totally hear it.”
Drew: “It’s just, being younger, I don’t have a lot to talk about because I don’t have as much life experience. And I’m just going around. And I also can’t sit still. And when people ask me, I just tell them the truth. And I feel like that’s definitely screwed me up here.”
Drew: “This could be an olive branch for me to start working with you in this game. But I also feel like no one trusts me at all. So I’m just kind of off on an island here.”

Lala: “Well, let’s put it this way. You remember our conversation that we had a couple weeks ago? And I came to you and I said, I’ve been told I don’t talk game. I thought I was talking game. My game is doing what I do. Being in the kitchen, cooking for people, being who I am. But obviously that wasn’t good game, as I was told.”
Lala: “So I would love to try and form something. I really would. But I don’t want it to be obvious.”
Drew: “Really low key.”
Lala: “I’d love to be able to form something with you, because I think that you’re amazing.”

Drew: “When you hugged me yesterday – you’re like somebody that, you and Angela, I’m such a mama’s boy. Whenever I hug you guys, I just think of her.”

Drew: “This is my first time being away from home. And you guys are so genuine with me. So I want you to know, if I did win – which, actions speak louder than words, I could tell you whatever right now – but I was not putting up you guys at all. I wasn’t putting up Melody or Mallory. I was going to keep the people that I actually feel close with safe.”
Drew: “And I’m learning now that people don’t think I like you, which is crazy.”
Lala: “Because I always thought you liked me.”
Drew: “I thought so too. And people are like, yeah, you would have put Lala up. And I’m like, no.”

Drew: “I do want to make something that’s not obvious, you know what I mean? I’ve been talking more with someone that you’re close with. She’s offering me olive branches.”
Drew: “But I do feel burned by a couple of people right now. So I feel a little isolated.”

Lala: “Well, I will tell you this. It doesn’t matter what side you’re on. It doesn’t matter what you’re doing. I’m always there for you regardless. Because I love you. When I look at my babies, to me, you fit right in there with them. So regardless of whether we work together or not, I will always be there for you. I will always be that shoulder. If you just need to have somebody cry on the shoulder, I’ll be there. If you need to laugh and reminisce or talk about anything, I’m there for you regardless. But I would love to be able to work with you. I would love to be able to do something together.”

Drew: “I would love that, because I feel like right now there’s a lot of big fish here. And I don’t feel like we’re any of them. So I think right now it’s like, we got to get our misfit crew of people, you know what I mean?”
Lala: “Correct.”
Drew: “I think you winning felt like a breath of fresh air. I was telling Melody and Mallory, I was like, dude, this could be like the revolution. Like, be the change. But yeah, I would love to work with you for sure, 100%.”

Lala: “I just don’t want y’all jumping ship on me anymore.”
Drew: “Yeah, no, I feel like a free agent right now.”
Lala: “I just want to make sure I really do have solid people. Because I’m not disposable. I am worth a lot.”
Drew: “Boy, you proved it for sure, you know what I mean? I also feel like I’ve been viewed as disposable.”
Lala: “Not really. See, to me, you’ve been going here and there, and you have alliances and friendships and personal things with so many people that, no, I didn’t deem you as disposable.”
Drew: “I don’t think anyone views me as a priority. You know what I mean? I think it’s like, oh, he’s cool. We’ll use him for the time being.”
Drew: “I’m trying to get to the end. I try to go as far as I can. I’m trying to play this game and make my mom proud as far as I can.”
Lala: “She’s proud of you already, though.”
Drew: “But I would love to do anything with you. I think it would be unsuspecting as well. You and me. Especially because we talk a little bit, but not a lot. But I would be so down to just keep things super low key and see if we could work together.”
Drew: “Because I’m going to be honest, I could say this a hundred times and you could believe me or not, but I was not going to put you up. And you would have been very surprised at the people that I would consider.”

Lala: “And that’s all good. We’re good. We’re totally good. But I definitely want us to do something.”
Drew: “I’m in for sure.”
Drew: “I’m not going to tell you not to put me up. I know there’s some distrust.”
Lala: “I feel like I don’t have any distrust.”
Drew: “You’re good.”
Lala: “Slate is clean.”
Drew: “Well, I feel the same way. My slate was never dirty on you. I feel like words have been put in my mouth.”

Drew: “Yeah, I talk too much, so I’m working on keeping my cards closer to my chest.”
Drew: “I was told that another person was the main target, and then when things changed, they pivoted and were like, cool, you’re disposable.”
Drew: “And then thankfully, Taylor saw that and helped flip some stuff, like, last minute in the morning. So I’m forever in debt to her now. I feel like that’s the only person that even showed me – well, people here have showed me kindness and stuff. But right now, after everything.”
Lala: “That’s my boo.”
Drew: “I mean, yeah, she’s a saint, you know what I mean?”

Drew: “And I wouldn’t eat in here if you guys weren’t here. If anything comes to that, just know if Drew wants to not be a have-not – even when he’s not, I need you guys here for food.”
Lala: “Exactly.”
Drew: “But it’s never bothered me that you clean the house, tell us stuff to do. I felt like maybe people thought I was the one that was upset about that. And I live in a Mexican household, dude. It’s do or die.”
Lala: “I was going to say, I know you got to clean up.”
Drew: “Every Sunday we clean the house. You could say – who’s the head of the household at my house? It ain’t my dad. I’m a mama’s boy, so she runs the house.”
Lala: “There you go. I got you.”
Drew: “Never bothered me once, but I’m so down to work together in the future and just see what’s going on.”
Lala: “Definitely. You got it, baby.”
Drew: “I appreciate you. Thanks for just taking the time. I know I don’t have much to say. You know I love you.”
Lala: “I love you, too.”
Drew: “Thanks for just showing me kindness. I don’t think I’ve cried with anybody more than you, you know what I’m saying?”
Lala: “Yeah, and I’m here for the more tears. I’m here for more.”
Drew: “Thank you so much.”
Lala: “You got it, baby.”

12:48 PM – Lala and Kamu (HOH Room)

Kamu: “What’s up?”
Lala: “Hey. You want to talk? Since you’re right there. I just got out the DR. I was like, yo, she talking to people?”
Lala: “Oh my God. How are your shoulders?”
Lala: “My shoulders, my back and my neck. I feel both of my lower back specifically.”
Kamu: “I feel like the middle of my neck back here, like my spine.”
Lala: “Me too.”
Kamu: “But as the day goes on, I feel my shoulders more and more.”
Lala: “My shoulders, surprisingly – my injured shoulders. Well, they’re not injured anymore. My healed shoulders.”
Kamu: “The fact that you had surgery too, I didn’t even know about that.”
Lala: “In December? Rotator cuff surgery, December 19th, 2025, right there.”
Kamu: “That is insane.”

Kamu: “Congrats again. Like I said, I told you last night. I have zero excuses. You won that fair and square. And honestly, I think that makes it so much better. I was telling people, I’m like, I didn’t throw it. I didn’t drop out. I legitimately fell. And mad props to you. It’s iconic.”
Lala: “Thank you.”
Kamu: “How are you feeling?”
Lala: “I feel great. I still feel like I’m going to wake up in that room and be like, that was all a dream.”
Kamu: “You’re sleeping and you start feeling like somebody’s hitting the bed under me.”
Lala: “Exactly. You’re like, that was all a dream. It’s crazy. But I’m just like, wow.”
Kamu: “I’m pumped for you. The bathroom right there, it’s got to be so nice.”
Lala: “I only went once last night, too.”
Kamu: “I know, what’s up with that?”
Lala: “I only went once last night.”
Kamu: “The one time you only need to go.”
Lala: “Exactly.”
Kamu: “Did you get a lot of sleep? You didn’t get much sleep, though, huh?”
Lala: “It was weird, because I did sleep, but it wasn’t like that REM sound sleep. I was kind of up a little bit, but I did rest.”
Kamu: “But no, good, I’m happy.”
Lala: “Nope, I slept.”

“Is the target me?”  “The target is not you. However — I may need you to sit on the block.”

Kamu: “How are you feeling game-wise?”
Lala: “Game-wise, this is some interesting shit right now.”
Kamu: “It’s hard, huh?”
Lala: “This is interesting. Because as the numbers dwindle, it becomes harder. So I’m just at the point where I’m feeling things out. I’m figuring things out. I have a target.”
Kamu: “Okay.”
Lala: “And I think I might be able to get that target out this week. So we’ll see.”
Kamu: “Is the target me?”
Lala: “The target is not you.”
Kamu: “Thank you. Thank you.”
Lala: “However.”
Kamu: “Yes.”
Lala: “However. I may need you to sit on the block.”
Kamu: “Okay. All right. It’s fair.”
Lala: “But I promise you, you are definitely not even close to being my target.”
Kamu: “I appreciate it. No, I appreciate you letting me know. I appreciate the honesty as well.”
Lala: “I definitely did you a solid. You do me a solid.”
Kamu: “Yeah, gotcha. I appreciate you letting me know as well. That way, at least you gave me the chance to play in the veto.”
Lala: “Correct. Without a doubt.”
Kamu: “Thank you. Cool.”
Lala: “Kamu, I just want to tell you that you do know I love you.”
Kamu: “Of course.”
Lala: “Like, I really do. And it’s not anything, because I promise you it’s not.”
Kamu: “No, I know. I got you. And you gave me a good reason. Listen, it’s just a swap. That’s it. No, no, no, I got you.”

Kamu: “Yeah, I’m hoping that, of course, I win the veto, because I’m not exactly sure where in the house I fall right now, as far as which side.”
Lala: “Well, I don’t even know if there are sides at this point.”
Kamu: “Yeah, and that’s the thing. So I was on the wrong side of the vote. What I was told was that the vote was going to be for Melody.”
Lala: “Correct.”
Kamu: “And so that’s what I did. The house was voting for Lyric.”
Lala: “And then the house went and voted for Lyric.”
Kamu: “So like last night when you asked me when we were on the wall, you’re like, would you put me up? I was like, Lala, absolutely not. And you’re like, would you put me up even as a pawn?”
Lala: “I had to cover. I had to cover my bases.”
Kamu: “Of course.”
Lala: “And I was like, absolutely not.”
Kamu: “And I meant it. I absolutely meant it, because you would not be my target at all.”
Lala: “I appreciate it.”

Kamu: “And the way that I see it is, the people that I was working with didn’t include me in on the vote. And so now I legitimately don’t know who to trust. So the game for me feels like it’s starting fresh.”
Lala: “It is. And that’s exactly what I said. This is a fresh start right here. It literally has turned. It’s a fresh start.”
Kamu: “So I was thinking last night, I’m like, who are the people that I think that I can trust? I’m like, I think I can trust Taylor, Lala, and Yash.”
Lala: “Yeah.”
Kamu: “I think that these are people that I could work with moving forward. Because the people that I thought that I could trust excluded me from the vote. And I’m not even entirely sure why. Because at one point I was told, hey, it’s going to be Lyric. And I was like, okay. And then I was told it’s going to be Melody. And I was like, okay.”
Lala: “I know, you know?”
Kamu: “Interesting. Interesting game.”
Lala: “But I like your thoughts about moving forward.”
Kamu: “Yeah, me too. I feel like I don’t have a whole lot of options. I am a little bit worried if I don’t win veto. Obviously, if I am sitting up on the block.”
Lala: “If I win veto, you’ll be off.”
Kamu: “Okay.”
Lala: “Don’t worry. And you got my word on that.”
Kamu: “No, thank you. And like I said, I appreciate you giving me the chance to play.”
Lala: “Yeah, you got my word on that. Because I need who I need sitting there to be up against people who – oh, we ain’t voting for them.”
Kamu: “So, all right, Lala, I trust you.”
Lala: “You got it, baby.”
Kamu: “And I appreciate it. Thanks for calling me in here. Love you.”
Lala: “Love you, too.”
Kamu: “Thank you very much.”
Lala: “Thank you so much. I appreciate you. And I’m so happy I beat you.”
