Taylor won the veto, which means Haley has to name a fourth nominee — and Sunday is the day the alliance tears itself up deciding who. In the 11:38 am meeting she says it out loud: Lyric is the renom, and there is no second option. What follows is twenty minutes of Kamu working her off it, pushing Mallory instead, until Haley finally names the thing that’s been bothering her all night — “you’re really pushing for Lyric and it just doesn’t feel right.”

Overnight, the fight was uglier. At 12:24 am Haley vented to Angela and Dee that it was “two and a half on one,” that Kamu broke his word to Lyric last week and had the nerve to call it protecting the alliance, and that she can’t keep his stories straight anymore. Angela’s read is the cleanest in the house: Lyric is moldable, Mallory is going to be flaming hot Cheetos. By 1:43 am, Chuk confirmed the alliance polled unanimous for Lyric, and Haley learned why Drew has been on her list — he promised to feed her poison in the comp, told her not to be sussed out, and then didn’t do it.

Meanwhile the other side of the house spent the night guessing wrong about everything. The littles think the renom is Mallory or Lala, Barrett thinks it’s him, and nobody has said Lyric’s name — including Lyric, who sat with them comforting Mallory. And at 2:40 am, Drew, Mallory and Melody tried to guess who holds this week’s power. Drew’s two picks were Melody and Kamu.

The renom ceremony is Monday. Haley wants to tell Lyric tomorrow night, with a charcuterie board.

BB28 Time Capsule tally

The BB Time Capsule is a multi-week America’s Vote twist running Weeks 2 through 7. America votes one houseguest into the capsule each week, that person competes, and they either win a power or take a punishment. Each houseguest can only go in once.

• Week 2 — Angela Murray: lost, and wore the Hard-Boiled Detective costume
• Week 3 — Rick Devens: won the Diamond Power of Veto
• Week 4 — unconfirmed: no result has surfaced on the feeds. (Drew is speculated)

Devens still holds the Diamond Power of Veto. The only person he has told is Dee.

11:38 am — Angela, Kamu, Chuk and Haley in the HOH room. Drew joins later.

Taylor won the veto. Haley has to name a fourth nominee at the ceremony, and this is where she tells the room who it is.

Angela: “I think he’s gonna be sad regardless, because he thinks it’s gonna be, if not him, Melody.”
Chuk: “I know, he really wanted me to win it, and I was like, dude.”
Haley: “Did you not want to be picked today?”
Chuk: “I wanted to play something. I’m so happy you picked me. I’ve been saying I wanted to play veto.”
Haley: “Because somebody was like, pick that guy.”
Chuk: “Who?”
Haley: “Whoever was sitting next to you.”
Chuk: “Devens.”
Haley: “Yeah, Devens. F— Devens.”
Kamu: “No, I’m so happy I played. We already talked about it in the HOH. I knew you were going to pick one of us.”
Chuk: “I really wanted to take that. I truly wanted to take it, even though I’m safe.”
Chuk: “I think the people who we needed out — you know, Taylor truly wasn’t the target. The people we needed out were out. So I’ll take that.”
Haley: “She was the second one of the three.”
Haley: “I know, but I really set this up for the next HOH, because we can target the girls and Lala and Taylor again.”

On Taylor:

Angela: “I think Lala’s trying to make Taylor feel comfortable and loved, because Lala’s feeling like Taylor’s told her, probably, I feel like I’m in jeopardy because you might have said stuff about me.”
Chuk: “Taylor told me something today. She said she just wants to make it to the first week of jury. She was like, Chuk, I just need y’all to get me there. Can you do that for me? Can you just get me to the first week of jury and I’m ready to go?”
Chuk: “I was like, baby girl, do you have some f—ing fire in your stomach?”
Angela: “Nobody wants to just make it to jury.”
Chuk: “She was like, if you can just do that for me, I’m cool.”
Angela: “I mean, yes, it’s better than going home early, for sure. But everybody has an agenda to really want to get to the end.”
Chuk: “She has this little BB checklist, and that’s going to look good for her students. I’m like, what the f— do you keep thinking about her students for? Come play your game.”
Angela: “I like to have a say in who wins. I don’t want to be the people that left early, come back, and not have a say in who wins.”
Haley: “I hate that you have a mole on your face.”
Angela: “I’m sorry. I’m going to take it off. I put a little black on, to be in the period of time, okay?”
Kamu: “I didn’t even notice. But I like it, though. I love that you flipped your hair back, too.”

Haley names her renom.

Haley: “Can we just talk about, like — it’s gonna have to be Lyric. That’s the least amount of blood on my hands. Lyric is my nominee.”
Haley: “Chuk’s face. I don’t have any other person. I have nobody. Nobody else.”
Haley: “I’m about to burp. I’m so sorry.”
Haley: “The common denominator is, she does want to jump ship. And, hey, let me prove to you that we are with you. And then I don’t even tell her, like, if you win HOH next week, I will let you use me as a pawn if you have to. Like, I’m cool with that.”
Haley: “Obviously, I don’t love that. However, I know that I have the numbers. But I don’t have another option, and I will break down each individual person.”
Haley: “I do want you guys there, you two specifically, because she wants to work with you. And I might even pull Devens.”
Haley: “Thoughts, comments, concerns? Unless you have another option.”
Chuk: “No, I think that’s the only viable option.”
Haley: “Because I have Taylor really hating right now, and if I add one, I have one and a half.”
Chuk: “I would have suggested Mallory, but that’s been off the table. When you were HOH, you already told us why.”
Haley: “But Mallory’s going to win HOH at some point. And I think me making that deal with her — I don’t think she would put me up, to be honest. And I’m looking out for my game in that.”
Haley: “And I’ve been trying to… Wine and cake don’t mix.”
Haley: “I think with Barrett, I can keep working Barrett with Mallory, because I keep giving very kind words to him about Mallory. If we work the same way with Barrett — somebody else, probably one of you guys, keep doing the same thing with him in a different way — I think you guys would still be good and she would go after other people.”
Haley: “Thoughts, comments, concerns about who else besides Lyric? I think Lyric would be the most understanding and the coolest, especially if we had other people that were like, hey, we promise you’re okay.”
Chuk: “We have a pretty blossoming relationship with Lyric.”
Angela: “Budding showmances.”

Haley wants to wait.

Haley: “I do want to say, I don’t want to have to do anything until tomorrow night. I don’t want to talk to her tonight. I don’t want to talk to her tomorrow morning. I want it to be tomorrow night, and I’ll share some snacks. Probably lay out a charcuterie board for her. Kindly, I might even save some wine.”
Haley: “I’m using today as my last day of just go mode.”
Haley: “I know people are going to try to talk to me tonight, and then a little bit tomorrow, and then tomorrow night, I’m over it.”

How to tell Lyric:

Kamu: “If you want to put up Lyric, I think that that’s fine. The only thing that I would suggest is that you just talk to her privately, not in a group. Because if you do that, but you don’t plan on working with her long term, whoever’s in that group — she’s going to know right away who you’re working very, very closely with.”
Kamu: “Right now, she already suspects that we’re working together as one side of the house.”
Haley: “But I think it needs to be you and me, or you and me, to do it.”
Kamu: “And I can definitely talk to her as well. If you want to do it in a group, I mean, you’re the HOH, I can do that.”
Haley: “It doesn’t have to be a group, but I do need either one of you two.”
Kamu: “I will reassure her that she is safe, absolutely.”
Haley: “So you’re saying you don’t want to be in the group?”
Kamu: “I just don’t want to be in the group. I don’t think there should be a group meeting.”
Haley: “Not a group. It’s either going to be you and me and her, or you and me and her.”
Chuk: “Two on one.”
Haley: “And I don’t think Devens is really — Devens is the low end of the totem pole with you guys.”
Kamu: “Yeah, I would just have a private conversation with her, and then I can reassure her, and you can reassure her as well.”
Kamu: “She did ask me if she’s going to be a renom.”
Haley: “I would like it to just be her and I. Because then she kind of shuts down.”
Chuk: “And I can be there.”
Haley: “I just sometimes, with her, she starts answering with questions. And I think if there’s two people kind of bouncing it off, I think that’s the best way.”
Kamu: “Someone give this girl some electrolytes.”

Kamu makes his case one more time.

Kamu: “My only pushback, and I’ve kind of vocalized this already, is that Lyric wants to work with us. Mallory has shown no interest in working with us. Therefore, I think that Mallory is more dangerous than Lyric.”
Haley: “She’s been more open with me. Not with you guys.”
Chuk: “I know you’re looking out for your personal game with her.”
Haley: “But I’m looking out for mine with her. More so the fact that I’ve given that olive branch multiple times.”
Chuk: “And we talked about — you also need to make sure you cover the guys in your alliance. Because I’m going to be doing the exact same with Taylor.”
Haley: “And I think I’ve done the best with Yash. And Barrett and I are great. So every other guy I’m good with. And then Drew — I mean, I’ve kind of just fluffed Drew to the point where he’s like a big giant balloon at this point.”

On keeping the meeting small:

Haley: “Out of this group, I’m not going to say anything either. I’ll tell Dee and Devens, hey, this is my nominee, but that’s it. I’m not going to do anything else. I don’t want to fluff anything else. I’m not telling Drew. I’m not telling Barrett.”
Kamu: “And I’m assuming you want us to do the same, then — not say anything, just be like, I don’t know?”
Haley: “Like, even with Yash — hey, we don’t know what she’s doing.”
Haley: “I want people to come and talk to me and say whatever they want to say, because I’ve not made a deal with anybody.”
Haley: “It’s going to be a wash. It’s going to be 11-0.”
Kamu: “What if she asks for some sort of deal or something like that?”
Haley: “I would offer, if she wanted to wait until next week, I would say, you can put me up. I don’t love that. However, it’s a game.”
Angela: “You can say it now, and you can change your mind later.”
Haley: “But I’m not fighting to get off that side. I already have the numbers. You can put me up. I know I’m good.”
Haley: “But I have a feeling next week’s going to be a double eviction, 1,000%.”
Kamu: “Really? Week five, huh?”
Haley: “We have an extra person. That’s why.”
Haley: “That’s why somebody from our side has to win.”
Angela: “Has to win every week.”
Haley: “We haven’t had an expect-the-unexpected yet at all. So that’s what I’m worried about. So we have to win.”

Kamu pushes Mallory again.

Kamu: “So the one thing that I do want to push back on a little bit with Mallory — and I know that keeping Mallory would be best for your game, but I think ultimately what’s best for your game is what’s best for the alliance.”
Kamu: “Even last week, when we were sitting by the hammock and I had that conversation with Drew, I told Drew, hey, Mallory is not going to put me up, but Mallory has vocalized putting up Dee and Devens, and because she’s coming after my alliance, that’s bad for my game.”
Kamu: “I think that Lyric is better for our alliance. Mallory is going to take shots at us. Lyric wants to work with us. Therefore I think that taking out Mallory is the best option.”
Haley: “The only thing with Mallory is, I don’t remember my wording, and I’m big on my wording. So I don’t know. I know I said, I’m not gonna put you on the block for the noms.”
Haley: “But I want to figure out and really think about what I said. Because obviously she’s still an option.”
Haley: “Lyric is the least amount of blood on my hands. And it’s the least amount of blood on anybody else of ours. And we’ve already shown that she is a good competitor. She hit the 70. She obviously kicked all their asses in the veto.”
Kamu: “And she beat Mallory. So she could win. Do we want to have Lyric win the next HOH, when she was just on the block by me and then by you? Or do we want to put Mallory in?”
Haley: “She has a crush on you and trusts you, so that’s a wash for me. The thing is, if she puts me on the block, I have the numbers. I’m good.”
Haley: “With Mallory, she’s going to put one, two, three. There’s no way around it.”
Kamu: “That’s why I think that she should go, though.”
Haley: “Yes and no, because it’s going to come to the point of — is it you not wanting to go back on your word? That’s been my number one rule. And I yelled at your ass for that one.”
Haley: “I didn’t promise, but I don’t ever want to go back on my word.”

Kamu tells the story of breaking his.

Kamu: “With Lyric, unfortunately, I hated to do it. I had to go back on my word with her because it was best for our alliance.”
Kamu: “I told Lyric, when we had our first one-on-one, hey, I just want you to know you’re safe. You’re good. You will not see the block. You were just on the block last week. You had a hard week.”
Kamu: “And you know what, I regret that, because I spoke too soon. I had other conversations with other members of our alliance, and then it was like, hey man, maybe we backdoor Jason so he doesn’t get two chances to play. And I thought, you know what, that’s a good idea. That’s probably what’s best for our alliance.”
Kamu: “So I had to go back and have a tough conversation with Lyric and let her know, hey, I know I told you that you were safe and I wasn’t going to put you up. I’m sorry, but I have to. And I had to make her feel as comfortable as possible, letting her know that you’re not the target.”
Kamu: “So I had to go back on my word, and it sucked. But I had to do it for the alliance.”
Haley: “And that’s great, and that’s you. But I’m not somebody that’s gonna do that, respectfully.”
Haley: “However, she will beat the shit out of Drew and Melody, 1000%. I do not have a doubt about that. Lyric could, could not. However, both of them, it’s very much equal. So I don’t see that as a threat to me, in my eyes.”
Kamu: “Mallory staying in the house?”
Haley: “I think Mallory would pull herself off. And then now I have two hot people coming after me at that point.”
Haley: “The next competition has to be physical. We haven’t had any physical at all. But again, she’s going to pull herself off.”
Haley: “I do not have confidence in Drew at all with anything physical, because he gets too emotional. We saw him run around the f—ing house before nominations even started.”
Kamu: “I think that she’s a better competitor than we give her credit for, but the longer that we keep Mallory in the house, the longer it could be one of us sitting next to her on the block.”
Haley: “But I do think that we have a good chance of one of our eight winning, to put her up next week and just keep putting her up. That’s a lot of chances she’s going to have to pull herself off. She’s going to break at some point.”
Kamu: “So then why not put her up this time? Why do you want us to have to put her up next week?”
Haley: “I know, but you’re really pushing for Lyric, and it just feels like something doesn’t feel right for me. You’re just really pushing at keeping her and not wanting to chance it. And I just have an off feeling about it.”

Chuk weighs in.

Chuk: “Mallory’s a strong player. She’s a f—ing beast. She’s shown that she can go into the fire and bring herself back.”
Chuk: “And I know you’re huge on not wanting to go back on your word. In this game, you may not go back on your word in the real world, but sometimes in this game, you’re gonna have to.”
Chuk: “But at this point, if you did put Lyric up, I think I could stomach that. I think I could stomach that. Mallory is coming for all of us.”
Haley: “Mallory’s coming for all.”
Chuk: “She can’t sit in a room with anyone else that isn’t Melody or Mallory without running out, right? She’s coming for everyone, truly.”
Chuk: “If that’s where you’re going to go, I think we could go there.”

Chuk brings up Yash.

Chuk: “For him, he sees it as, anyone who mentions your alliance, that’s someone we can’t trust. Like, Yash has definitely mentioned — if Angela was up, who cares? Let her go.”
Chuk: “Yash mentioned this to me, like, a few days ago when we were outside. He was like, if Angela goes, who cares? Whatever, right?”
Chuk: “And so for me, it’s like, Yash is someone to keep at arm’s distance away, but knowing that he needs to be put up eventually.”
Chuk: “But I do think we can take the shot in putting Lyric up this week. I know Mallory’s an imminent threat.”
Angela: “You also said the other week that Lyric did X, Y, and Z, and that’s the same X, Y, and Z that Mallory did. Mallory just won it when she needed it.”
Kamu: “No, but Mallory wants to take us out. Lyric wants to work with us. That’s not the same.”
Angela: “And that’s totally fine. However, if she wins HOH, she’s still doing the same thing. She still has all the props just like Mallory does.”

Haley and Kamu get into it over Drew.

Haley: “You kind of made a lot of executive decisions with the whole Drew thing. Like, I’m going to make it look like I’m at the low end of the totem pole between you and Chuk.”
Kamu: “Well, you and I talked about that.”
Haley: “Yes, but you see it one way, and when I talk about it with other people, it’s like, that doesn’t seem right. It just sucks, because it’s a whole other narrative.”
Kamu: “Wait, the Drew thing or the Lyric thing?”
Haley: “I’m talking about the Drew thing. There’s a blurred line here where you want to do what’s best for your game with Drew, but I want to do what’s best for my game with—”
Kamu: “With Lyric. And now it’s like, well, let me play devil’s advocate here. I’m not doing what’s best for my game with Drew. He’s still in our alliance.”
Chuk: “I’m listening to both arguments back and forth, and you both have valuable points. All I’m saying is, you’re the HOH.”
Kamu: “I want to support you. I do have my own relationship with him, so I have to say certain things to him to make sure that I’m not blowing up the fact that he is the target.”
Kamu: “But everything I’m doing is for the alliance. There are no blurred lines. I’m very clear on what the target is and what the goal is this week.”
Kamu: “So there’s no executive decision being made or anything like that, so I don’t know where that’s coming from.”
Kamu: “As far as Lyric goes, I’m not being overly aggressive about Lyric. The way that I see it is, just like when I was HOH last week, everything that I did was to protect the alliance.”
Kamu: “Mallory told me she would gun for me. I still was saying Mallory should go, because she was coming after Dee and Devens, and she made that clear. That was my — I want to protect the alliance, because if the alliance is safe, I’m safe.”
Kamu: “Right now, I think that one person is clearly gunning for our alliance. Another person wants to work with us. Why keep the person who’s gonna come after us, and put the one up on the block who wants to work with us? That’s all that I’m saying.”
Kamu: “But whatever decision you do, I’ll support. I just have to vocalize my opinion.”
Haley: “Again, totally fine. There’s no disrespect on that. But this is a ground zero HOH where we have to build at this point.”
Kamu: “Are we going to form an alliance with Mallory? When you say ground zero, are we working with her moving forward?”
Haley: “I was just doing it to the point where this was, hey, relax this week. I’m not doing that. I want to take somebody from her side completely out.”
Haley: “She’s already given the olive branch to you in some sort of sense. She’s given the olive branch to Dee, so it’s still somewhat of our alliance. Might not be stuff that you guys see.”
Haley: “You don’t see that Lyric is trying to do this, this, and this with the boys. Neither does Dee, neither does whoever else is in it. So it’s very different on a lot of the scales.”
Haley: “So whatever I do with this HOH, with the re-nominee, it just is what it is. But we’re all playing our own game. Yes, also for our alliance. However, you still have to play long term.”
Haley: “And I think anyone would rather have one person, one and a half people, gunning for them instead of three.”
Haley: “Again, having to put up four people f—ing sucks. And the veto not going our way.”
Haley: “Because Taylor would have been my second, and I don’t think Taylor would have pulled herself off. I think maybe Drew would have pulled himself off if it was the same nominees.”
Haley: “I love the double sides of it, because there’s a lot of times that I don’t see what you’re saying, and then you and I talk and I’m like, oh, okay, that makes sense.”
Kamu: “Whatever you want to do, I will support that. I’ll back that. If you want to put up Lyric, I’ll let you do that first. I won’t say anything. I’ll talk to her separately on the side. I just had to vocalize where I’m at between the two.”

Drew knocks. Haley tells him twice to give her a few minutes, then lets him in.

Haley: “Two more minutes.”
Haley: “But this is Angela. I’m just talking. I mean, you can come in if you want. Come on.”
Haley: “I’m just talking about renoms.”
Haley: “Do you have — what do you think for, like, a renom? What do you feel?”
Drew: “I mean, selfishly, probably somebody who I could beat in the Blockbuster.”
Haley: “Okay. Which would be?”
Drew: “Probably, like, Lala. But if you want to take a bigger swing, like, maybe slide out Mallory.”
Haley: “Anybody else?”
Drew: “At the end of the day, it’s yours. And I feel confident that hopefully I win it. And if I don’t, I trust the Tool Shed.”
Drew: “I don’t really have any preference any other way, I feel like right now. It’s kind of looking like he goes home this week, which sucks, unless she wins the Blockbuster. But it is what it is.”
Haley: “I appreciate that.”
Haley: “Yeah, putting up four is tough. Because whatever I do, I’m taking the heat.”
Haley: “I’m glad that you and I squashed it at the beginning. But I took the heat from the other two, and it just is what it is.”
Drew: “At the end of the day, you’ll only have two people upset at you at the end of this week. Because Taylor might be a little pissed.”
Haley: “I just see, if Taylor wins, she’s gunning after. She’s not going to play it safe. She’s not going to do anything low ball. She’ll do a high ball.”
Haley: “And I think if I put up Lala, I think she’ll do a low ball. If she wins it, heaven forbid.”
Haley: “But I truly think next week has to be a physical competition. We haven’t done anything yet.”
Drew: “At the end of the day, only two people will be mad at you, because I can’t be mad at you — we’re on the same team. So there’s no stress in that.”
Drew: “And then one of them is Taylor, because she’s going to be here. And the other person is either going to be Melody, who might be here, or whoever you renom.”
Drew: “So it’s whoever you feel like would gun for you harder or has a better chance at winning a physical comp — maybe you put them up.”
Haley: “Unless you want to go up.”

Nobody laughs right away.

Haley: “I tried to make some light.”
Angela: “No, I know you’re struggling with it.”
Chuk: “Well, but Angela, you know this happens, right? When you take out Jason, Rome’s gone — those are such huge people on their end, such big and easy targets. But now with everyone else, HOH, you’re going to have blood on your hands moving forward.”
Chuk: “I think each HOH from this point forward is going to have two people coming after you, because this is going to happen.”
Drew: “Oh, I thought you were joking. Are you, like, genuinely thinking about putting her up? Angela? I was like, wait, wait, what? What are we talking about?”
Haley: “I mean, I would if you really, really want me to, but I’d rather not.”
Drew: “What if Mallory pulls off an upset and it’s between me and her?”
Haley: “Yeah, no, I’m not going to.”
Drew: “It’s going to be somebody that’s like a no-brainer.”
Haley: “I would never do it. There’s no way. You know that.”
Haley: “Nobody wants to do it, but I know as we go, it’s going to happen as the people get fewer and fewer, and it’s just us eight. But I’d rather not have to do that right this minute.”
Haley: “You’re just being the guinea pig. Sorry, buddy. You’re f—ing amazing over there. You’re just the guinea pig over there. I’m so sorry.”
Drew: “Yeah, it’s not ideal, but I’m trying to do it with a smile.”
Haley: “It is going to come down to where the girls have to take the heat at that point. Because it’s like how we talked about it — at the end of the day, we have three girls and five guys.”
Drew: “We also have a day to think about it.”

On the comp itself:

Chuk: “There were certain people I knew I needed to make sure were out of the game.”
Haley: “Which was Melody and Mallory.”
Drew: “No, I mean, Mallory for sure. But Taylor, I was like — Taylor, I think, was the one that was like, if anybody wins, I hope it’s not Taylor.”
Drew: “And then you kept hitting my foot. I’m like, hey, stop.”
Chuk: “I just kept going back to Mallory. How’s Mallory doing?”
Chuk: “I walked past her and I said — ah. I felt so f—ing bad.”
Drew: “She’s wearing this cute little princess dress and she’s just crying.”
Chuk: “She came for me first.”
Haley: “I thought she was going to come to my table and she didn’t.”
Chuk: “No, I knew she was coming for me. I knew she was going to spin back.”
Haley: “Her and Taylor didn’t. I was very surprised.”
Chuk: “Maybe they were scared of you. I was praying that you took Taylor out so it could just be me and you, face off.”
Chuk: “I would say God is blessing us. God is blessing us way too much.”

Kamu heads out.

Kamu: “Hey, I’m going to go hop on the bike. I love you guys.”
Drew: “Yash and Lyric are in there right now.”
Haley: “You think I can take this stupid dress off?”
Drew: “You’re gonna finish the whole thing?”
Chuk: “If she does, that’s insane. Respect.”
Chuk: “All right, let me go see the chaos. I knew they weren’t happy.”
Haley: “Will you send Dee up here?”
Kamu: “There’s no chaos. I came up and I was walking to the gym and then Haley was like, yo, what’s up? So I just went and was chopping it up with her.”
Kamu: “Dude, nobody wants to nominate four.”

 

12:24 am — Haley and Angela in the HOH room. Dee joins moments in.

Taylor won the Power of Veto. She will pull herself off the block, and Haley has to name a fourth nominee at the renom ceremony. Haley is furious with Kamu.

Haley: “He sits there and talks to Lyric with a hundred things about each other, over and over and over, which is totally fine. But the backseat to it, I’m not buying it.”
Haley: “But he is strategically doing shit that’s weird as f—.”

Dee knocks.

Haley: “Is it my D? It is my D. I’m so livid. Yeah, you gotta hear all this. I’m livid.”
Dee: “Why?”
Haley: “Because it was like literally like a two and a half on one.”
Dee: “With Drew?”
Haley: “No. Kamu and Chuk… Angela.”
Haley: “So we’re talking about the renoms, okay? And so the original problem was, I told Kamu, I said, he’s trying to play this double advocate game.”
Angela: “And Drew’s not in the room at this point.”
Haley: “No. He’s trying to play this double advocate game. And this double advocate game is legit. He’s planting seeds to Drew saying, yeah, I hear it’s all me, Kamu, and Chuk. However, I’m at the low end of the totem pole. I don’t know about this meeting that Haley wants to have.”
Dee: “He said that?”
Haley: “Yeah.”
Dee: “Okay, but where’d you hear that from?”
Haley: “From Kamu.”
Haley: “He said it to me, and he goes, I just think it would be better for us to split up, da-da-da. And I’m like, what do you mean split up? So it doesn’t look like it’s us three. And I’m like, yeah, okay, cool. Obviously, Chuk and I are cool. I’m good.”
Haley: “So then he says, and correct me if I’m wrong, then he says something along the lines of, I know she wants to put two girls up and a guy, and she kind of wants to blur the lines because Dee said in the meeting that wasn’t an alliance. But there’s gonna be this meeting going on, and she never told me about a meeting.”
Haley: “We talked again and I said, dude, I don’t like that. Because you know what? We don’t know what’s being shown on TV. It looks like I’m not trustworthy and I’m throwing an alliance. And my word is, I will not go back on my word.”
Haley: “And so that was my whole thing. He goes, you know what? I get it.”

On the renom:

Haley: “I talked to him about Lyric too. And I said Lyric before this. I said, Lyric would be the easiest decision. She’s trying to jump ship. Totally fine. However, she just went from guy to guy to guy to guy. I was like, how do you trust that? Yes, she wants to be with us. She’ll do whatever. Blah, blah, blah. He goes, no, I get it.”
Haley: “We start talking tonight, and I said, I’m going to go with Lyric. That’s the least blood on my hands.”
Haley: “I told Mallory, yeah, I’m not going to put you up. I think you’re a good player. However, you do need to branch out. I’ve told you multiple times before. I want you to have that safety.”
Haley: “Because, again, if I strike a deal with her, I’ll say, if I keep you safe with those renoms, hey, these are the people I don’t want you to put up. I’m not putting you as a renom where X, Y, and Z. I haven’t talked to her yet, but that was somewhat of a plan that could have been mustered up. But I truly didn’t think we would have lost that, to be very f—ing honest.”
Haley: “Well, he comes back with, well, why would you put up Lyric when she—”

Someone knocks. Haley yells “Five minutes!” and changes out of her dress.

Haley: “Trying to put up Lyric and he’s f—ing pushing, pushing. To not put her up, because he wants her up with us.”
Haley: “So, why wouldn’t you put up Lyric when, you know, I went back on my word with Lyric last week and I put her up because I was trying to save Dee and Devens.”
Haley: “Wait. Lyric never would have put you guys up. So that’s why I was like, that was f—ing stupid. No, no, no, that’s not right.”
Haley: “So he’s combating that to me, not to put her up. So I don’t have two people on my hands. So I should put up Mallory and take that chance. So now I have f—ing Taylor gunning at me with death flares. Potentially Lala too. That’s two people. Then Mallory?”
Haley: “And I said, I’m a person of my word. I’m not going back on my word. I promise. And he goes, well, I went back on mine. And I said, that’s good for you. I’m not. If you want to go back on your word, go ahead.”
Haley: “He goes, but I did it for the alliance.”
Angela: “No, you didn’t. Because she was coming after you and Devens.”
Dee: “Lyric?”
Angela: “Not Lyric.”
Dee: “Oh, Mallory.”
Angela: “Mallory.”
Haley: “Potentially. But he was still putting her up.”
Dee: “That’s not the full reason, though. We’re protecting each other, yes. But at the end of the day, it’s your HOH. You’re going to do what’s best for you.”
Haley: “But you also have to be a little bit selfish in a way. And I’m sorry, there’s only one winner. It’s not a group winning thing.”
Haley: “But I’m starting this HOH off as a ground zero for everyone. If we get our target out, fantastic. That number two obviously was a Taylor. Didn’t work, cool, okay. Someone’s still getting out. But this shoots for next week, where we can put up the easy f—ing girls.”
Haley: “And then Chuk agreed, and then gave the both sides, but he was like, Lyric is the smarter decision for us as a whole.”
Haley: “So why even give Mallory the incentive? She just lost. Why give her the incentive to go win that shit and then potentially go win an HOH? That’s so stupid.”
Dee: “Puts you in a bad spot.”
Haley: “And it lost my buzz and I’m pissed. Anything else? And, like, if I’m not seeing something correctly — because I think I came at it from every angle.”
Angela: “I feel like you did. Also, she probably would get in there and win it, because she just gets that pure tunnel vision. I’m winning. And she’s coming in even more mad now.”
Angela: “And she’s not just coming after you. She’s coming after the people she knows you’re with. It is very clear and obvious to the whole house.”
Haley: “So I’m like, if Taylor wins it next week, it’s going to be a one, two, three, just like Jason f—ing wanted it. If Mallory wins it, it’s going to be a one, two, three.”
Dee: “Yeah, don’t piss more people off.”
Haley: “So why not make one deal with one person and say, hey—”
Angela: “These are easy to mold.”
Haley: “These are people that, like, if you win it, I won’t put you up.”
Dee: “I agree.”

Angela reports on the Lyric plan from earlier.

Angela: “And they’ve already got her clutch. And we know that. She was trying to explain that to them, but I don’t think either of them really got it — because they already have Lyric clutch, she’s like, I need one of you in the room with me to soften the blow, to make her feel supported, to make her know she’s not the target, that she’s not going home. We need you to kind of help us. We’ll help you.”
Dee: “Did they agree?”
Haley: “Yes, but he really was not wanting to do it at all. He said he’ll support from outside.”
Haley: “But he tried to keep his f—ing game with f—ing Drew the entire time, and I had to tell him, like, that’s not cool. And I said, we don’t know what’s being shown, so I’m going to look like the one that’s sketch. I’m not doing it, and I’m somebody that keeps my word. I’m sorry that you don’t keep your word, but I will. We have different morals on that. Sorry.”
Angela: “But you can still work together. Everything’s going to be fine. Vent, vent, vent to us.”
Angela: “Clear your thoughts on how you will handle this conversation.”
Haley: “I won’t vent to Devens because I know it could get a little bit weird.”
Dee: “Yeah, let’s not do it.”
Angela: “Keep it small. Keep your venting to us. It’s fine. And then it’ll clear your head enough so when you do have another conversation with Kamu, you’ll have the right words to say to him.”

Dee asked her the question earlier.

Haley: “And so she brought up a good point. She was like, do you like him? And so the feelings aren’t getting in the way. Yes, I think he’s a cool-ass person, but if we come down to it, straight facts — he has kept it very game with me.”
Haley: “Yes, that fun, flirty thing that would happen. Yeah, that was fun. That was fine. We’ve had one conversation, kid you not — the girlfriend thing. He told me all about his girlfriend thing. And it was, like, we were up until, like, 4 am. And then there was the fun little flirty comments about the shower. But there’s been no depth conversation at all, like he does with her.”
Dee: “But do you know that for a fact, that they have those depth conversations?”
Haley: “They talk about a lot of shit. You overhear how they’re over there just sitting and talking about random shit.”
Dee: “Because all I know is that they’re at the hot tub, like, a lot, but—”
Haley: “But it’s a lot of conversation. It’s more than him and I have ever done, which I’m totally cool with.”
Haley: “But at this point, it’s like, I’m not taking a backseat and I’m not going to let my feelings override. If I had feelings like that, I would have been like, hey, you know what? You’re right. But I’m standing up for myself in that. Like, wait, that’s not right. Let me clock you on that, clock you on that, clock you on that. That’s not cool with me.”
Dee: “Both can exist. And that’s okay. And you could also push back, because at the end of the day, you have feelings, but your game comes first.”

Angela brings up the dinner tables.

Angela: “How I said it — dressed up at the tables, is what she’s talking about. And I kind of took a little bit of a view to see how they look together, dressed up. It looked cute. But if you’re feeling that way — and this is a game, and that’s most important to you—”
Haley: “But if I still had, like, feelings, I’d be like, okay, so, like, did we look that cute? But I was like, I don’t care. Like, whatever.”
Dee: “You said that out loud?”
Haley: “No, to her.”
Dee: “Oh, okay. To her, though. Just don’t go saying that in front of him.”
Haley: “Correct. But, like, he just pushed. He pushed heavily. But I pushed back. I’m like, no, I’m giving you my reasons. And you only threw out that you’re saving the alliance with you and Devens — which Lyric has nothing to do with it.”
Dee: “He had the people in his mind before he even talked to me and Devens.”
Dee: “I don’t know why he said that, but either way. Damn.”
Angela: “Even though there’s so much that encompasses this decision, it’s really cut and dry to me. It’s black and white. Because Lyric is moldable.”
Haley: “Correct.”
Angela: “Mallory’s not going to be. She’s not going to be. She’s going to be flaming hot Cheetos.”
Haley: “Do you want Drew out or do you want Melody out? Or do you want Mallory out? Who do you want? Because you were so solid about a plan until now I have to nominate four.”
Haley: “And we’ll make up. I’m not worried about that. We’ll talk and this doesn’t have to go any further. But that was bulls—. And I will tell him that was bulls—. I didn’t like that, because you pushed me into a corner. Because you said you were trying to save two people for your alliance. But putting Lyric up wasn’t going back on your word. That’s a gameplay, because you knew you had to wrap her around a finger. So that’s crap.”
Dee: “I think that’s more of a little selfish on his end, for sure.”
Haley: “And he tried to f—ing do this weird shit with Drew.”
Angela: “It almost seems like he’s trying to play on the outside a little bit, just in case Drew comes back. Because he very well could. And maybe he’s just trying to say, hey, the alliance is still with you. Like, I’ve been cool with you this whole time. I haven’t known anything. He didn’t want to make it seem like it’s everybody in the alliance. So maybe that’s his angle and he couldn’t express it.”
Haley: “He tried to say it, that it was like Chuk and I, and he was below in the totem pole. And I quote, is what he f—ing said. And then tried to make it seem like he didn’t know anything.”
Haley: “And I was like, dude, I want someone who’s in my alliance that’s going to ride for me. We don’t have to be close and buddy-buddy all around, but you can’t just be like, yeah, bro, I don’t know.”
Angela: “And it takes the heat off him.”
Haley: “100%.”
Haley: “And he also said, don’t pick me for the veto, because I don’t want any bad blood with Drew.”
Angela: “I thought you were going to pick him. Yeah, it shocked me when you picked Chuk.”
Haley: “He told me to pick Chuk.”

Angela tells her about Chuk’s flip-flop.

Angela: “Chuk told me in the bathroom he didn’t want to do it.”
Haley: “See, and that’s why I’m so confused.”
Angela: “And he sat here and he told her again that he did want to do it. So I don’t know if he was just kind of going back and forth, and he said that to me out loud. But I didn’t want to call him out on it, because it’s silly. It doesn’t even really matter. But he definitely told me in the bathroom he was coming up here to tell you.”
Haley: “Well, that’s why I said it — to see if he would say anything different. He didn’t.”
Angela: “And it’s fine, because it’s silly. It doesn’t really matter at this point. He played well. And maybe he was just going back and forth in his head. But that is truly what he said to me, Haley.”
Haley: “No, I know. I believe you.”
Angela: “It’s not a big deal, honestly, because he was picked. And he acted happy about it. And he played well.”
Haley: “I’m pissed.”
Angela: “We know you’re venting to us. And honestly, by doing this, it’s helping you not to approach him.”
Haley: “This is the third time where I’m like, mm-mm.”

Angela offers the coach theory.

Angela: “Well, let’s also look at it from this angle. He’s a coach, right? People listen to what he says all the time.”
Haley: “Kind of like army, military. I love that.”
Angela: “He’s a coach. And so his ideas are usually the right ideas, with what he does for a profession. And so he’s used to people listening to him all the time and looking at him as a mentor. So when he’s speaking to you, he may not even realize what he’s doing. It’s what he does for a living, Haley. So maybe let’s take that approach. I’m just kind of giving other angles.”
Haley: “And I’m cool with that. I just think that he’s really trying to protect Lyric when she has no alliance to us at all.”
Haley: “It was almost like he was trying to tell me I was being selfish, without telling me I was being selfish — when you just did the most selfish thing with Drew and didn’t think about me one time.”
Dee: “Did you tell him that?”
Haley: “Yeah. 100%. That’s why we talked twice. And I was like, I don’t like that, because heaven forbid Drew freaks out, tweaks out, and then it’s like — I can’t keep your story straight, because I don’t know what the f— you told him. And what am I supposed to say?”
Angela: “Yeah, it should be very much the same. And that’s why sometimes I ask you — if people ask me what I’m saying up here, what we were doing, what would you like me to say? Because I want us to be on the same page. We don’t want to be saying different stories. And plus, I do want to protect you.”

Angela mentions the veto picks.

Angela: “Chuk threw my name out to go up. I think he was kidding, but he did it in front of Drew, because Drew had come in at that point. He goes, well, Angela, you could go up, or whatever. I forget how he said it. And I just wanted to play it off, like I would go up, because Drew was right there. And I know you would never do that to me, because I would never do it to you girls. But I just wanted to do that in case, you know. Because Drew was here.”
Angela: “It’s your HOH, Haley.”
Haley: “I know, but it just pisses me off.”
Angela: “And we’re here to support you. Absolutely. Whatever you want to do. If it’s Mallory, if it’s Lyric, it’s whoever you want. I’m okay.”
Dee: “I know it’s frustrating, but definitely have a conversation with him once the emotions are—”
Haley: “Well, I told him. He was like, yeah, I support you. I was like, yeah, I still want to talk to you.”
Dee: “We’ll talk again. Give yourself some time.”
Haley: “I don’t want to talk to anyone, like, whoever I make this into, tomorrow night.”

Haley pulls out a bottle. No cups.

Haley: “Just chugging it. Put your f—ing mouth on it, I don’t care. It’s already on your tongue.”
Angela: “Good for you.”

Angela, as the clip ends:

Angela: “I wonder why Yash would tell Chuk to get rid of me. I didn’t understand that. I didn’t understand why he even said it. What happened?”

 

12:06 am — Lyric, Mallory and Melody

Eighteen minutes before the war council upstairs, the other side of the house runs its own numbers. Nobody down here knows who the renom is.

Lyric: “Lala is buddy-buddy with Haley now.”
Melody: “Literally f— off. It’s not even funny to me right now. I’m not even joking. Taylor is going to vote for Lala again.”
Mallory: “What if Lala doesn’t go up?”

Mallory says she heard the renom is between herself and Lala.

Mallory: “Barrett thinks it’s him.”
Melody: “She never told Barrett he was good.”
Mallory: “She told Lala she’s good? How does that happen, when she was shit talking her so hard?”
Lyric: “Do you remember that?”
Melody: “How do I not remember that? It was two days ago.”
Lyric: “Let’s remind ourselves about that.. It’s fricken crazy.”
Lyric: “Where’s Drew’s head at?”
Melody: “Drew is like — we were talking about it. Obviously we were like, whatever happens, we want us both to stay.”

Production tells Melody to put on her microphone.

Melody: “If it’s Lala, dude — and especially with her being that spooky—”
Lyric: “And she is tight with Angela, apparently, now. Lala — did you notice that too?”
Melody: “Yeah. Whatever, bro.”
Melody: “They’re more likely to switch over there then, which would be the dumbest shit ever.”

The scenarios:

Melody: “If it’s me versus Drew.. which is shitty, but like, I don’t want that. Obviously I want to stay more than I want Drew to stay, of course. Like, duh. But that just f—ing sucks. I know you f—ing get it.”
Lyric: “Like, I get it. Look who got sent home on week two — the one guy that was gonna protect me in this game. And then week three, the second guy that was gonna protect me in this game. If he goes home, you’re going to be okay.”
Melody: “It’ll be fine.”
Mallory: “If it’s me versus Drew, I’ll go home. I mean, if it’s me versus you—”
Melody: “We still have the majority. Technically, they will keep you.”
Mallory: “Not Drew.”

The Thursday vote comes up.

Lyric: “Isn’t that crazy? After Mallory wins the Blockbuster, we find out that she was going to go home with a unanimous vote. That’s crazy.”
Melody: “I mean, if it would have been unanimous, I would have never f—ing voted for you.”
Lyric: “Me too. Me too.”
Mallory: “I knew it that morning. That’s why I was crying. Like, I knew I was out. I didn’t have the votes.”

Lyric heads to bed.

Lyric: “I gotta go to sleep. When you’re done showering, come get me. I’m in my bed. I love you. It’s gonna be fine. Try to stay cool, calm, and clean.”
Mallory: “Exactly.”
Lyric: “Yeah, I’m so sick of this.”

Lyric leaves.

Morgan, a player from last season, was a guest at the veto competition.

Mallory: “Did you hear Morgan called me pipe queen?”
Melody: “That’s awesome, dude.”

The feeds flip. When they return, Melody is still working the scenarios.

Melody: “I mean, maybe we can, like, smack some sense into her this week. Maybe.. but like—”

Melody rolls her eyes.

Melody: “We could disrupt the angle. Like, you said that you were gonna do what’s best for your game. Like, you said that. So now it’s time to prove your loyalty to us, because you gave us your word with that.”
Melody: “If it is Barrett, I dunno… I feel like I can stay over Barrett. If it’s me vs Drew, I feel like I could also stay. If it’s Drew versus Barrett—”

The conversation breaks up as people go by the room, and the feeds flip.

 

 

 

 

 

1:43 am — Chuk and Haley, HOH room

The Kamu fallout continues. Haley has spent the last hour polling the alliance on the renom.

Chuk: “And I told him, go talk to her so she can give you a why. And she also wants to hear, who are your noms?”
Haley: “So Kamu brought himself back up when I think he saw other people. And so it was Barrett — me, Devens, Dee, Barrett, Angela, Kamu. And so I just asked everyone, what’s your opinion?”
Haley: “And Devens is like, no, I understand not putting Mallory up right now. I’d go with Lyric.”
Haley: “Dee was like, she’s jumped ship with every f—ing person she’s had. Like, what makes you think we should trust her now? I think she’d be the safest bet.”
Haley: “Barrett was like, yeah, putting Mallory up I think would be a bad decision. We’ll just keep kind of working her from other sides.”
Haley: “Angela said something, and then he’s like, yeah, I’m cool with whatever your decision is.”
Haley: “You weren’t cool right then.”
Chuk: “I think you had to sit with it and just said whatever.”
Haley: “Everybody else, without me saying my why.”

Haley lays out her reasoning.

Haley: “He wants me to put Mallory up, so it takes more heat off him.”
Chuk: “And by week one, we didn’t see how good Mallory was. And now we’ve had some comps where we’ve now truly seen how it is. But I also will talk to him and tell him, hey, dude, if this was week seven and you were saying this, then we should be like, what the f—? Why do you still want to keep Mallory?”
Haley: “Because if her and Lala make up, that’s two people. If Drew goes home, we lose Barrett. Because he doesn’t trust us anymore at that point. He definitely doesn’t trust me.”
Haley: “And then, again, putting up Lyric — if she’s trying to solidify a new alliance, then she should be fine with us using her and then offering her safety.”
Chuk: “And our conversations with Lyric — Lyric just pulled me. Again. She said, can I talk to you in the have-not room? And she was like, where do you think things are going? I just want to let you know again.”
Haley: “She tried to come up here and I was like, I’m not in the mood. Sorry. I said it kindly, but it was right after that conversation. I was pissed.”

Chuk takes some blame for the veto loss.

Chuk: “I truly, really wanted to go in there and win. Now I’ve put our HOH in a tough spot.”
Haley: “I mean, I put myself too. I lost it too. I blame myself.”
Chuk: “Lyric being up for a renom is the easiest way we can smooth shit out. She will understand. She asked me, though, if she was going to be a renom, like, a day ago.”

Back to Kamu.

Haley: “It was almost like a low blow, where he was like, I’m trying to protect the alliance and I’m working out for Dee. You going back on your word with Lyric had nothing to f—ing do with Dee. Or Devens.”
Haley: “So I was like, why would you even say that? So that pissed me off. And then him trying to be like, well, selfishly, I’m doing it for this. Oh — I’m not. You can go back on your word, that’s fine, but I’m not. I’m sorry.”
Haley: “And the thing with our alliance is, like the Cookout — they had so many fights with each other.”
Chuk: “But they always feel so strong. We’ll make up.”
Haley: “We’ll make up. And I’m not worried about it.”
Chuk: “So you guys going back and forth — I’m like, this is great. If we saw eye to eye on everything the whole week, that’s not going to be normal.”
Haley: “So also, he came up here. He was like, yeah, I know you’re so upset about our previous conversation. And I’m like, yeah. Like, of course I am. But everyone f—ing agreed. Lyric. And then he just kind of sat there. Yeah, I’m cool with whatever.”
Haley: “No, you’re not cool.”
Chuk: “He wants Mallory out because she’s gunning for him.”
Chuk: “She would definitely put my face up there, too.”
Haley: “She’d put me up.”
Chuk: “There’s people in the house where, like, I understand that. But I really need Melody out of this house. If she put my face up, I can’t be surprised. And I truly got to make sure I play a game where that never happens.”
Haley: “I’m glad that you gave both stances, too. But, like, you leaned toward Lyric. And Angela didn’t have much to say, and everyone up here leaned towards Lyric.”
Chuk: “Week seven, if you had said, let’s still keep Mallory, I would have said, are you crazy? Right now, we’re fine with putting Lyric up.”

On the rest of the board:

Haley: “Me putting up Lala would be stupid, and that would have been an emotional play, and I’m not doing that.”
Haley: “I think now we truly see that Taylor doesn’t have an alliance. We’ve talked to almost everyone. No one’s working with her.”

Chuk tells her about Taylor post-veto.

Chuk: “I did talk to Taylor. She’s so happy. She said, you motherf—ers think I can’t read emotion. Now y’all see. I’m like, baby girl, that was a luck comp. Even if I had won that comp, it was pure luck. That didn’t show me anything about you.”
Chuk: “She was so happy, and I think she thinks that’s her moment to show the house that she can compete, which I’m so happy for her. But, like, you did not win no f—ing—”
Haley: “That was a 50-50.”
Chuk: “That was, like, 50-50. Truly, those comments are the worst, because they give people egos.”
Haley: “At least mine was, like, you f—ing had to think.”
Chuk: “You had to f—ing think, and you saw, and you had to go back and think.”
Haley: “Again, Kamu and I will squash it and talk, and I’m not worried about that.”
Chuk: “He gave his good reasonings. You gave your good reasonings. Your reasonings for this week and for what we’re trying to do are stronger.”
Haley: “What he’s not clocking is, she’s jumped ship with everyone. She lost her best friend. She lost her boyfriend. And she knows there’s only two players.”
Chuk: “And it’s the people she jumped ship from. Like, she jumped ship with one of the craziest people in the world. And I keep telling her, you know it’s hard to trust. And I told her right now, I said, Lyric, you do know it’s hard to trust you when your two allies were Rome and Jason.”
Haley: “So why doesn’t Kamu see that?”
Chuk: “I know. It’s like, she seems so sincere. She seems so genuine. But at the same time, me and Yash always leave when she leaves our convo like, what — is she just playing?”
Chuk: “Remember, we all raised our hand. Has Lyric told you that she’s going to keep you safe?”
Haley: “We all did that, besides Lyric. We literally, in front of Kamu, we all do that. And Barrett goes, yes — you didn’t tell me that.”
Chuk: “She’s telling everyone that she’s going to keep them safe. She’s playing her game. And her game is to hide behind you and to win at every guy’s heartstrings. And it’s almost working.”

On next week:

Chuk: “This week right now, putting Lyric up as a renom is great. The following week, Mel, of course, needs to be someone that we’re prioritizing.”
Haley: “If I would have won next week, I would have put her up. But this week, we’ve got to get somebody out. Somebody that not really anyone cares for.”
Chuk: “And to think that no one in our alliance is going to win HOH next week — we have a high percentage. It’s not a guarantee, but we have a high percentage.”
Haley: “Like, Mallory can be beat.”
Chuk: “She hasn’t won an HOH. She’s won these things to save her life. She can be beat.”
Haley: “I just don’t want to put her up where she lost, then she wins this quick physical, and then she’s so hyped to play that HOH. It’s the same day. And I don’t want to do that. And we are bound to have a physical competition.”
Chuk: “Which is so needed, and that works in our favor.”
Haley: “I’m sad I can’t play. It just sucks. I’m glad I won this one, don’t get me wrong.”

Chuk reports on the room’s mood after the veto.

Chuk: “Lyric’s a little worried. A lot of people were. Yash was a little worried.”
Haley: “He knew, when I walked out, I was mad. So you being mad at him — he pulled me to the side. I’m not mad. I wasn’t mad at anyone. I was just like, I just want to go to bed.”
Chuk: “And so he pulled me. He was like, she’s good though. I said, Yash, I think you can’t sleep.”
Chuk: “I think a lot of people were pulling for me to win, just so they don’t have to worry.”
Haley: “Because they know I want to keep my noms the same.”
Chuk: “Angela was just watching y’all go back and forth, but I love that y’all are going back and forth. Like, this is why this person should be, this is why this person should be.”
Haley: “I think his is emotion.”
Chuk: “With Mallory?”
Haley: “With Lyric.”
Chuk: “His is f—ing emotion.”
Haley: “Because there’s no other logical f—ing way.”
Chuk: “He might have a great why. Anyone who wants to come for anyone in my alliance, you must go.”
Haley: “He didn’t even let me cut a deal with her yet. That’s the thing. With Mallory. He didn’t let me cut a deal. He’s saving his ass.”
Haley: “No one’s coming for the alliance, on this side of the fact that Lyric told everyone she would keep them safe. So who is she gunning for? Her three best friends? How does that not look bad? You really think she’s going to put up her three best friends?”
Chuk: “Her best friends are out the house.”
Haley: “It would be Melody, Mallory, and whoever else. So she’d have to put somebody else. Barrett?”
Chuk: “Her being able to jump ship after being with a whole other side and not giving us anything for two weeks—”
Haley: “Dee said that. And I’m glad she did.”
Chuk: “She gave us nothing for two weeks, right? The moment Jason’s gone, she jumped. When me and Yash would always ask her, like, do you have anything to tell us? I don’t know. And then now you have so much information. That’s what scares me, because it’s like, you knew nothing for two weeks and you lied to us about having an alliance. So that’s the fear.”
Haley: “Two alliances. Your Love Triangle and then your Four Seasons.”
Chuk: “So it’s like, she truly is jumping ship, and I think the viewers are going to see she’s truly just jumping ship. So why doesn’t Kamu see it?”
Chuk: “I think he thinks that we can manipulate her a little bit more, since Mallory hasn’t given us anything. But that’s the thing — you can be cool with her, you just don’t need her.”
Chuk: “I think me and him can easily talk Lyric into that. You are a pawn. You’re safe, baby girl. While with Mallory — she goes in, comes back, now it’s just even full force.”
Haley: “Which is what I don’t want.”

On Drew:

Chuk: “Drew just came and talked to me and Yash about the comp, and he left the conversation, and Yash said, that man is stupid.”
Haley: “He is so stupid.”
Chuk: “He said that he had no strategy going into that competition.”
Haley: “Did I tell you he told me to throw the comp to him?”
Chuk: “To Drew?”
Haley: “He told me he was going to give me poison, and he didn’t give me poison. He told me, I’m going to give you poison. Don’t panic. But, like, don’t be sussed out, is what he said. Don’t be sussed out. But he didn’t give me poison. That’s why I went against him.”
Chuk: “That’s crazy. What’s wrong with him?”
Haley: “I don’t know. Fucker.”
Chuk: “There’s times where him being a little younger shows. Drew’s really funny, so I’m a little surprised why he’s not able to go into competitions with some level of confidence. I always feel like funny people are sometimes intelligent — Devens is funny. He just falls on the ground funny.”

Chuk plays out the what-if.

Chuk: “I have a question for you. You throw Lyric on there. What if Lyric comes back? Who are you happy to go home?”
Haley: “Either or.”
Chuk: “Okay, perfect. Same page.”
Haley: “But we lose Barrett. But I guess we gain Lyric.”
Chuk: “I mean, we lose Barrett, but Barrett has nowhere to go.”
Haley: “So it’s Barrett, Lala, Taylor.”
Chuk: “And Drew’s their leader. Like, they’re lost without Drew. And that’s so Drew. I calmed him down today because he was so worried.”
Haley: “Well, wait, hold on. So Lala doesn’t like Melody at all. Taylor doesn’t talk to Melody, and they only talk because of Jason. So it’s literally only Barrett, if he leaves. Barrett, Melody, Mallory.”
Chuk: “That’s it.”
Haley: “And then Taylor, Lala.”
Chuk: “We have something special, Haley. Like, we truly can get out the people we want and ride with our alliance. And then it’s gonna be just a dog fight — fight it out, whoever wins, wins.”
Chuk: “Lala and me were downstairs, and her and Taylor want me to take them to the jury. I don’t know what you guys think this is.”
Chuk: “She thinks I let Taylor win. I don’t think — I know.”
Haley: “Do you think that you can smooth it over with Taylor?”
Chuk: “That’s going to be my number one thing. And I’ve already been doing it, just talking to her today, letting her know this is what we want.”
Haley: “She won the comp, so now it’s like uno reverse.”
Chuk: “She wants safety. She lives to see the rest of the week. I definitely want to smooth it out, just so you feel a little bit easy.”
Haley: “I know. That Kamu thing just really rubbed me the wrong way, because he burned me three times already.”
Haley: “Like, this thing with Drew — between you and I, he was doing some weird shit with Drew. And to say that you weren’t close with us, it’s, like, f—ed. Like, yeah, we can spread out, which we made that clear, but don’t say it’s me and Chuk. And then you.”
Haley: “I want people to ride for me.”
Chuk: “They’re going to ride for you.”
Haley: “I know, but the way he did that — if Drew panics and he does a Jason call-out, like, well, what did you say? What did you say? I can’t keep your story straight. That’s why I just got frustrated. Because I’m like, I don’t truly feel like you’re really riding. I think you’re playing your own game. Yeah, you’re in an alliance, but you’re playing your own game.”
Chuk: “He plays a game sometimes where sometimes it’s hard to even grab him for a conversation.”
Chuk: “And it’s like, dude, you’re worried about our five-minute conversation, and you spent three hours with Drew. You’re with Drew and Melody damn near the whole day. So it almost looks like you’re in alliance with them.”
Haley: “Well, and so that’s the thing with, like, Lyric. He spends a lot of f—ing time with Lyric.”
Chuk: “I know. And sometimes you can’t even get him for a ten-minute conversation to talk about, like, let’s make sure we’re still all on the same page. And I’ll talk to him about that, because I feel the exact same way.”
Haley: “Just keep my whole name out of it.”
Chuk: “No, I’m not going to say it. I feel the exact same way. I’m like, dude, this house is getting smaller. You do need to make sure you’re constantly talking to people in your alliance, just to make sure y’all are still on the same page, even if it’s for a ten-minute convo.”
Haley: “I got upset when, like, he didn’t come and comfort me after the Rome thing. Everybody else did, but you didn’t. And he was all like, you good? And I’m like, sure. That was it.”
Chuk: “I think we can just reiterate to him how much us being aligned is going to help us in this game. If someone in your alliance needs to have a quick convo with you, go f—ing have that convo. Make a way to sneak out or do whatever. Because truly, dude, you’re with Drew and Melody damn near the whole day. So you’re worried about people thinking you’re in an alliance with these people—”
Haley: “And I want someone to, like, show me the full picture. But it just seems like a lot of stuff recently is, like, emotion.”
Chuk: “We’re getting to that part of the game?”
Haley: “Yeah. And I’m like, wait, that doesn’t feel right. I don’t know. And if I’m wrong, like, I’m so open to hearing I’m wrong.”
Chuk: “We will tell you when you’re wrong. You’re wrong.”
Haley: “Am I right now?”
Chuk: “You know, Drew going home will change so much. Drew going home, Melody and Mallory don’t have their leader.”
Chuk: “We can’t take everyone in. You’re noticing everyone’s coming this way. We can’t take everyone in. So keeping Lyric at a distance. I love my guy — keeping Yash at a distance. We just truly can’t take everyone in.”
Chuk: “But definitely play it like, I’m open to hearing you. I’m like, hell yeah, let’s do this. Let’s run it. Y’all say something about running it. I’m sorry, that man just — we’re running into the motherf—ing end.”
Chuk: “I’m just frustrated.”
Haley: “I’m good. Actually, I’m good. That was just frustrating.”
Haley: “But I’m glad you were like, well, Lyric sounds like the better idea.”
Chuk: “Lyric sounds like the better idea this week. Me and Kamu can smooth it over with her a lot easier than if Mallory was up.”
Haley: “You don’t think it’s weird that he didn’t want to be in that conversation, if he’s, quote unquote, this next closest person to her?”
Chuk: “I guess he doesn’t want it to reveal our alliance just yet. Right now, she’s been saying, I want to work with him.”
Haley: “That’s why I said me, you, and Lyric. Or me, Chuk, and Lyric. And he was like — Chuk. He didn’t want to play in the f—ing veto either.”
Chuk: “He truly does see things sometimes from a different standpoint, where it’s like, I need to make sure people don’t even think that we’re together. But I feel like that’s a little too much.”
Haley: “Him wanting to protect this alliance — he should have f—ing played in that veto. He should have wanted to play in that veto. So who’s actually not really riding for their alliance?”
Chuk: “He’s riding. I promise you. Look at me. He’s riding for the alliance.”
Chuk: “He takes what people are seeing way more seriously. Like, if it was me, you and him sitting down at the f—ing table, that’s like a no-no for him. He would rather us be just as spread out as possible. But I’m like, bro, honestly, sometimes you’re taking it to the extreme. He takes not being seen by the house together to the extreme. I’m like, dude, Jason and Rome are gone. Everyone else — Mel and Mallory are not that smart.”
Chuk: “I think we’re okay to have a little bit more conversations where it’s all three of us, all five of us.”
Chuk: “But look, y’all have it. It’s great. I love it. He has a great point. You have great points. Your point works for this week.”

Haley starts a new thought about Melody

2:40 am — Mallory, Drew and Melody

They start on who might have the next power.

Melody: “That would f—ing suck.”
Mallory: “Can we pick one?”
Drew: “But it is plausible. It could be one of them.”
Drew: “Because they’ve been making the most moves.”
Mallory: “We don’t know what is being put on screen.”
Drew: “I would bet. My two top picks are you and Kamu.”
Melody: “I don’t want to go home.”
Mallory: “Like, I don’t even know what to hope for. Yeah, obviously, I hope it’s not me.”
Drew: “Like, I would hope for, like, Lala.”
Melody: “Lala is best case scenario, only if we can get the votes for us to stay.”
Mallory: “I feel like we maybe can.”
Melody: “It’s going to take a lot, but I’m literally ready to go insane for it. I literally have nothing else to lose.”
Drew: “Yeah, I really hope so.”

The feeds flip to a sleeping room, then come back.

Drew: “I’ll win anything else otherwise.”
Mallory: “Yeah, but we clearly can’t win any competitions.”
Drew: “We might as well give them a 50% chance.”
Melody: “But she would be voting out her closest ally.”
Mallory: “Yeah, but like — ally?”
Melody: “I can’t do anything.”
Drew: “I mean, me neither, but.”
Melody: “You talk to people, and you strategize. Lala made motherf—ing best friends with Haley.”

Mallory says she talked to Lala earlier.

Melody: “I was like, f—, what did I say?”
Mallory: “I was just like, that’s crazy. And she was like, yeah, but you know, Haley’s a smart girl.”
Melody: “She said that?”
Melody: “I don’t know, dude. We’ll just have to find out.”
Mallory: “This has been like the worst one yet.”
Mallory: “Okay, I’m gonna grab a snack and go to bed.”

Mallory leaves. Drew and Melody stay up.

Melody: “What is so f—ing funny?”
Drew: “You just have to laugh sometimes. There’s no reason to be upset. Besides, everything sucks.”

Drew starts pretending to meditate.

Drew: “Ummm. Everything sucks.”
Drew: “Ummm. Everything sucks. Try it, try it.”
Melody: “Everything sucks.”
Melody: “Ummmmm. Everything sucks.”
Melody: “Ummmm. Everything sucks.”
Drew: “Don’t you feel better?”
Melody: “Yeah.”
Drew: “See?”
Drew: “But it all could turn around. Maybe.”

They move to the prototypes room. Drew is still on the veto.

Drew: “But wait, Taylor used it on me.”
Melody: “I thought it’d be so nice if we could actually do that.”
Drew: “She really was, like, the best person to win this.”
Melody: “Good for her, but, like, also, f— you.”
Drew: “No, just good for her. You gotta give her props.”
Drew: “That’s why I feel like she’s, like, a secret genius, secret lawyer, secret something. Like, someone here has to be lying about their job. It’s probably Taylor.”
Drew: “She’s really smart, and her stories about her kids, her job, a past job she had—”
Drew: “Are you lying about your job?”
Melody: “Yeah, low key.”
Drew: “What?”
Melody: “I’m not going to tell you.”
Drew: “Why not?”
Melody: “I mean, I am a waitress.”
Drew: “But?”
Melody: “There’s nothing like smart people shit.”
Drew: “Oh, so you can tell me?”
Melody: “No. That’s a secret.”
Drew: “Bro, but it’d be so fun to know.”
Melody: “We’ll tell you later.”
Drew: “Why can’t you just tell me now?”
Melody: “You ruined all the fun.”
Drew: “Oh, you’re right. We’ve had too much fun this week. We should save it for another one.”
Drew: “What is it?”
Melody: “Post office.”
Drew: “Do you really?”
Melody: “No.”
Drew: “Is that believable? It’d just be funny, because my mom works at the post office.”
Melody: “Oh, really?”
Drew: “Yeah.”
Drew: “Yeah, so what is it?”
Melody: “I have to tell you something. Okay. I’m a dentist.”
Drew: “Can I get a job? In Arizona, though? Where at?”
Melody: “California.”
Drew: “No way. That’s so rad.”
Drew: “We’re like the same, but like, you’re better.”
Drew: “No, what is it? Come on. Why not?”
Drew: “Wait, we should play a game. You have to, like, give me a hint. And then we play yes or no.”
Melody: “Yeah, but you would never guess it, though.”
Drew: “Why?”
Melody: “I mean, we can try, though. So you have to give me a hint first.”
Drew: “You have a hint right here.”
Melody: “What should my hint be?”
Melody: “There is alcohol sold.”
Drew: “You own a bar?”
Melody: “No.”
Drew: “You’re a waitress?”
Melody: “I mean, yes.”
Drew: “Alcohol is sold at the place that you work at?”
Melody: “Mm-hmm.”
Drew: “You’re a bouncer?”
Melody: “No.”
Drew: “Am I in the right? You’re super tough, so I assume.”
