8:10pm Living Room – Haley, Dee, Barrett and Angela are chatting.
Lala is going up and down the HOH stairs. From the living room, Angela cheers Lala on.
Angela – Come on. Alright, let’s do it. Two more you got it right. Alright. She does f**king surprise me. She’s so strong. She’s amazing to do that at her age. Haley – She’s annoying as F**K… but yeah. Angela – I know Haley. I know. Haley – She belongs on a f**king Honeycomb commercial with her big a$$ mouth.
8:30pm – 9:15pm Gym – Kamu, Chuk and Yash
Kamu – Rome has stronger feelings for her than she has for him. You know? Yash – she’d be ripping that bro. Kamu – She told me she’s like when I first came to the house. She’s like my mom, she’s like, before coming to the house, my mom told me whatever you do, do not end up in a showmance. And she goes. And when I met Rome, you know, she’s like, Rome told me that he wanted to protect me. And so for me, having a like a big, strong physical threat or like, you know, physical competitor, protect me. She’s like, yeah, it sounded really nice, but she’s like I wasn’t looking for a showmance. So I feel for Rome because I think that he’s way more into her than she is to him. and she was just looking for somebody to protect her. Yash – he got got. Kamu – and yeah bro. Yash – and he got got. But that’s crazy she said all that, bro. Kamu – Even then, dude, even in the veto speech, she’s like, yeah, I’m only up here because of Rome. And although I do, I was like.. Chuk – I’d be hurt if like Ouch, I was like, damn girl, f**k you. You’re up there ’cause of your a$$, your own a$$ motherf**ker. Kamu – bro. I mean, like, dude, Devin’s asked him, like, who do you really want to protect, dude? And the fact that he said Lyric is like, it’s actually a good thing. It got played against him, but all he was really trying to do was like, yo, just whatever you do, please don’t put her up on the block. And she’s like, I’m only up here because of Rome. I appreciate him trying to protect me.. I was like, dude. Chuk – Yeah, it’s a hard knock life for that dude! What a f**king day. Kamu – But I told Rome day day two or day three. I said hey man, like be careful with the whole showmance thing. I puts a target on your back. I honestly, I told Lyric the same thing. I just said hey, just be careful with the showmance thing like that put the target on your back. Yash – and it did! Chuk – Crazy we saw it happen.
Yash – I think Rome is going home. I still think he does not have enough. Chuk – I think Rome going home would be the best bet. Jason is still kind of like a dog with his tail. Yash – I think Mallory and Lyric would vote Jason out. Like I don’t think they would vote Rome out. It would be a closer vote. Kamu – if it was Rome and Jason? Or Rome and Melody. Yash – I think regardless Rome is going. I think both compared to Melody. In Melody vs Jason, I think Melody would have more votes vs Jason. And so then they vote Rome or Jason against Mallory or they vote Rome against Jason if it’s the two of them. Yash – Yep. So the either way we’re chilling. Chuk – Yeah. Yash – And I feel like nothing has changed. Kamu – I totally agree.
Chuk – tomorrow is going to be like war.. watch we go out there and its like juggling cups.
9:40pm Bedroom – Lala and Angela
Angela – What is your main reason for wanting to keep Jason? Just because he’s a friend? Lala – A close friend. Also because I think Jason will be loyal down the line and help with, help with our side of the votes. Why, what are you thinking? Angela – I’m not. I’m just wondering what your thoughts were on my. Lala – I could, I could give you thoughts on both ways. I could give you thoughts on keeping keeping Rome. I could
give you thoughts on keeping Jason. I can give you thoughts on keeping Melody. I mean, I got thoughts on keeping any of them. So to me it’s just like a right now. Going on. Based on what everybody else wants to do. Angela – yeah, I’m sure tomorrow there’ll be a lot more of a consensus of what is happening. Lala – so that’s pretty much what i’m doing
9:45pm Bathroom – Rome and Lyric
Lyric – you’re very good about hygiene and that’s very attractive. Rome – Thank you. I shower and brush my teeth. Thank you. Lyric – some boys don’t. Rome – That’s because I am not a boy. Lyric – what are you then? Rome – I am a man! Lyric – MMmmmm. Rome – that is a very different thing. you have dated boys. I am a 28 year old savant!
10:20pm Lounge Room – Taylor, Lyric, Mallory, Melody
Taylor to Lyric – are you voting with the house? Voting Rome out? Lyric – are you guys? Well yeah, I mean here’s the thing we have to vote with the house, otherwise it’ll be an outlier. You know what I mean? Taylor – okay, just trying to see, Just trying to see .. just making sure everybody.. Lyric – it pains me though. It hurts me but it is what it is. He has to win that block buster if he wants to stay. Taylor – that’s the only thing because whoever sits next to her (Melody), goes home. Lyric – yup, yeah its true. Lyric to Melody – you have nothing to worry about. Melody – Yeah I am totally nervous of course. But it makes me feel good that your guys f**k with me enough, so thank you. Taylor – let the best man win. They all agree they need to win HOH tomorrow. Mallory – yeah, they have to lose a number.
10:45pm Havenot Room – Jason and Lyric
Lyric – I know this is going to sound terrible but Melody is not going to win anything for us. Jason – I know I feel bad .. Lyric – and she is also bad for my game because she is similar to me. Jason – true, true, true. Lyric – he (Rome) needs to stay. Ok, lets go over the numbers again.. Taylor, Yash, Me, Lala.. Jason – Rome. Lyric – if he wins (block buster). Jason – Barrett, Mallory? Lyric – I can get her she is my closest ally in here.
11:10pm – 11:45am Bedroom – Dee and Chuk
Chuk – I think Drew is working Melody perfectly… flawlessly. Dee – yeah. Chuk – When she is off the block he can just convince her to.. because she needs a home. I think Jason is going home. Dee – yeah, he is. Chuk – I don’t think we have to worry about someone saving Jason over Melody. I think they’re not going to let that happen. Should I worry about winning HOH? We can’t let Melody or Mallory win HOH. Its just those two girls that I’m worried about. Dee – yeah me too. Chuk – Mallory is ready to stick some sh*t. But she has no alliance behind her to be putting people on the block. We can’t allow her to put anyone on the block. If I win HOH, I would put up Melody and Mallory. I can’t put Lala up because she started to see me like a son.. of course but like.. Are you ready for the third person I would put up? Dee – yeah, who? Chuk – It would be Dee. Dee laughs – I hate that b*tch! Chuk – I hate her. She has been sneaking around this house .. into everything. She’s the biggest snake.. Big Brother blocks the feeds.
12am Lounge – Melody, Yash, Barrett, Mallory, Drew and Jason are hanging out chatting about random things. Meanwhile in the bathroom, Taylor is telling Kamu about how she has a really bad gag reflex.

I’m enjoying the season also. Has a lot of promise. Did I get you right you right that you think Melody is “a very sweet girl.”?? To me she all about herself and can be mean about it. She will say she can be trusted but only if it works in her favour.

I’ve watched every season since 2 multiple times and I dont remember this much crying!?! Isn’t it like week 2? Past HG’s had to play with their Ex’s, unknown siblings, ignorant racists, future drug kingpins, listening to Sharon’s WOOOOO’s all szn on s9 but there’s more crying two weeks in vs all that. Random thoughts on vets….I know Angela’s crazy eyes meltdowns etc is essentially what brought her back but strategically wouldn’t you add a low key vibe to a second shot at the money? Maybe it’s a zebra/stripes thing I guess. Devens & Dee…who can manage their ego the best prob sets their ceiling.
Angela is the queen these newbies should be bowing down to, not Rachel.

This was the gambit.
The reason for the Honor Society is to make sure LaLa and Taylor don’t target them. Will Angela and Dee cave to keep themselves in good graces with everyone but their alliance? Will they TELL their alliance? All of this is supposed to happen post Blockbuster pre vote. sideye. In the old days I’d give a percentage of assurance about who will be evicted. With Blockbuster being…. blockbuster… not doing that. Hands of Grod and such?
I had previously said elsewhere, I counted at most 5 votes (w/o saying who) to evict Melody but I did not count Yash, so that makes my 5 now 6…Dee had floated something in the HoH rm to Devens about possibly voting out Melody. I said back then, the odds were miniscule that Melody could get voted out but now they are slightly above miniscule
BTW, my comment @4:58 was if it were Jason vs Melody not Melody vs Rome.
Got it. My read on that regarding Jason Melody vote is more about HOW do Angela and Dee finagle a way out without losing the trust of the women they went into the side alliance with for the purpose of gaining trust to stay off the block and steer them if one wins HOH.
As much as Angela and Dee are kvetching about Drew and Barrett… they are doing and have always been doing what they accuse the two spies of doing. I find the irony funny.
Its interesting that Rome can see Lyric as his wife even though she looks & talks like a twelve year old.
Good observation…. I noticed how quick Lyric was able to act like Rome and her broke up flirting with other guys. The big speech to Deven. I think she finds Rome attractive. but underneath is her goal to win BB. Putting Rome up to save herself is pretty cold. Rome needs to be the grown up and slow this romance down to protect both of them. Maybe the problem will solve itself if he’s voted out tonight.
IMO Rome & Lyric are caught up in a reality tv/showmance bubble. Whether this show or others I believe feelings can intensify more quickly b/c of the situation/environment they are in. Although BB is not a dating show it’s still an intensive, isolating and stressful thing. It can be easier to catch feelings or mistake feelings that arise out of it. I’m a romantic at heart and will always root for a good showmance pairing wishing and hoping the best for them. Having said that, I don’t see Rome & Lyric lasting very long in the real world. Simon might be excluding them, but all I see them talking about it how attracted they are to each other and no conversations of real substance. Attraction in a relationship is great, but it only gets you so far IRL.

I could go on and on about all of them but there is little time. I’m beginning to feel embarrassed that CBS did this to BIG BROTHER and me. I just can’t pick a favorite from tainted Petri Dish and will have to see soon if watching is worth the time travel. I dislike them all.
I don’t know what kind of lawyer Lyric is, but I sure hope she doesn’t have to plead a case in court before a judge & jury. Can you imagine the look on the faces of the jury when they see & hear her?
