Evicted: Angela, 3–2 — the first Icon out and the second juror after Lala
HOH: Yash, his first of the season
Nominated: Drew, Melody, Barrett — every remaining newbie but Yash and Taylor
Veto: Drew, after 14 hours and 19 minutes in the Pressure Cooker, at 2:47am — used on himself
Renom: Taylor
On the block: Taylor, Melody, Barrett
Tonight: BB Blockbuster, then a double eviction. Seven become five.
Seven left, and the newbies spent the week eating their own. Angela went out 3–2 on Thursday, which handed Yash his first HOH and a nomination sheet he filled with his own people. Drew answered by standing in the Pressure Cooker for fourteen hours and nineteen minutes, past a mark that had held since 2005, winning at 2:47am only after cutting a deal to get Yash off the wall — no nomination if Drew takes the next HOH, no vote against Taylor if she hits the block. Drew used the veto on himself, and Yash put up Taylor: the one houseguest Drew had just promised to protect. Barrett spent the back half of the week begging the Icons he’d nominated a week earlier to keep him, and Devens — who won his second Blockbuster of the season and sits at the top of the Wall at 6.06 — told him only that he hadn’t closed any doors.

Double episode Recap
(or as much of it as I can do). PART ONE
RECAP
Some might ask how Dee wins over Devens. Just watch this recap of how the narrative is derived. It’s total Dee-centric prodo as a strategy crap.
My recap: After Taylor and Yash foolishly voted to keep Dee in the double for no reason (Barrett and Drew are not so tough they need 2 survivors to get them out)… Will Karma come kick their asses for doing Grod’s will? But first… who do the stunts need gone in THIS eviction so that it is made even more clear who will be in the finale? Sorry Barrett, while you don’t have to listen to Dr suggestion, there is a cost for NOT listening to dr suggestion in a stuncast season. In the Double will a stunt be in danger? Depends on the veto… and whether it is something the survivors have done multiple times… like an easy puzzle. Silly announcer, a survivor only leaves at the hands of the other survivor who are we kidding????
Section One: FORECAST OF BLOCKBUSTER
Double is NOT a surprise. 2 weeks left.
D/R Reaction:
Yash targeted Drew but we made a deal explain that again
Melody tried to get veto used. I need to win Blockbuster. I suck at comps.
Taylor 5th time nom. I need votes.
Dee: Bribe. Now we are fair game.
Barrett: now target of week. Use what i’ve got in tank to save myself.
Drew: justification for being the Stunts pet.
The Culture alliance introduction. Dee turns on alliances. Dee not wanting Yash. So why is she saying she’d be loyal to him? wtf.
DREW D/R ARE FICTION BULLSHIT THIS EPISODE. I Don’t get what is to be gained with so much d/r bullshit from the season weasel that has stated in d/r that he is xover through and through.
Drew setting up keeping his Juggler final 2 over his flirtmance final 2 when he realllllly wants his Daddy final 2.
Barrett sadclowning. Laundry ‘missing’ The talk with Devens. The AFP dad push. Eyeroll.
DOUBLE TALK. Is Drew the target like Culture wants. Yash is the worry. Dee and Devens are both taking end another alliance.
FORECAST IS HEAVY MELODY WINS BLOCK BUSTER (easy one, only one that mentioned winning block buster in her D/R reaction… usually it isn’t that easy).
SECTION TWO:
THE JURY VISIT
Angela pissy about the STUNTS nomination when she and Dee planned to put 3 xovers on the block to break up the boys. OWN YOUR SHIT. Angela doesn’t say she volunteered to leave.
Barrett Laundry return. Barrett campaigns to Devens. The I’ll be new Drew. Bygones? another lying d/r.
Melody campaigns that she originally went to everyone and asked for Dee to stay. Dee forgets that she said Melody was going to be her nom to get Taylor and Yash on side. She wanted a split vote. Grod is pushing d/r extolling the games of the stunts. Keep that in mind.
Taylor campaigns to Yash about not campaigning. Will the Culture meet? Barrett would stay if they had their druthers. Melody can’t win anything. oops
Drew: If you can’t win block buster, how are you going to help me win?
HEAVY FORESHADOWS SINCE SECTION ONE. Melody is for sure winning Block Buster. The edit makes no sense otherwise.
SECTION THREE:
The Blockbuster CRASH SITE COVER-UP
Melody wins 5-2 over Barrett. She was actually better than both at the comp because she didn’t go hesitation route the others were going on the curve. She committed to the curve.
Actually got 7 to the end, just missed the box when the ball dropped twice.
SECTION FOUR
EVICTION
Taylor: Love to stay. Culture number wise vote wise. M/D do what you need to do.
Barrett: use me as a shield or a number…do best decision for your game or you piss me off.
EVICT TAYLOR
Melody
EVICT BARRETT
Devens, Dee, Drew.
Vote of 3-1 Barrett is evicted.
THEY GREYED MELODY…. oh.
END PART ONE. Sleepy with allergy meds. If anyone wants a part two of the other eviction just ask. I’ll check back sorry.
I would bet this is one of the comps Melody practiced at her corporate game show host job.
She mentioned a few that she practiced. Just don’t remember which ones, but they were not puzzles for sure.
Barrett benefitted straddling the middle and used his time to build solid connections with almost everyone. He always kept his composure and stayed level-headed in a game that brings out the worst of people.
He made tactical game decisions to keep his allies on his good side (evicting LaLa instead of Taylor, and then telling Yash to do the same during the live vote). He implicitly worked against the icons by getting Thog eliminated before the Jury phase. And when he finally won power, he used it to guarantee an icon went out and succeeded.
In the end, everything that could have gone wrong at Final 7 went wrong. I’m proud of the way he played this game — he has my vote for AFP!
i dont remember bumpers on the curves before
You’re correct, it’s to ensure someone scores in this version for the blockbuster, the HoH or PoV variant probably wouldn’t have had them.
I’m glad my girl Double Dee made it through!!!! Those tan lines were poppin tonight! No clue how she’s holding those up with no straps, but let em hang!
Other shows the houseguest would probably be better suited for:
Taylor- Bed rot challenge
Angela- My 600 pound life
Barrett- Farmer wants a wife
Drew- Rupauls drag race
Yash- American Indian ninja warrior
Haley- Mob Wives
Dee- Bad girls club
Lyric- Engaged & Underage
Jason- Queer eye
Rome- Married at first sight
Chuk- Gone country
LaTrice- Naked and afraid / or MTV The challenge
Kamu- fear factor
Ashley- Jersey Shore
Melody- The weakest link
Mallory- The secret lives of Mormon wives
Devens- punk’d
Most of those are great and funny. Fave is Engaged & Underage.
Why it makes no sense she’s not underage. Also to call Angela 600 lbs is just stupid. This commenter is obviously a hateful person must be a MAGAt.
Hahahaha that’s a great list
Aww my absolute fav just went home rooting for devens Yash or Taylor
Too bad an icon isn’t going home:(
Wow the girl who wins nothing now wins 2 in a row! Never say never in BB.
Expect the unexpected lol!
It’s so funny how the “it’s rigged” crowd suddenly goes quiet when their favorites are doing well. https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/svg/1f602.svg
Both survivors are still here so yeah it’s rigged still.
Here’s hoping Drew wins veto and takes Devins down and then Yash goes up and gets voted out!!!
Now that I called Yash getting the boot, I really need Dee voted out next. I want Devins and Drew in F2. I dont really care which one wins. I like them both.
Why would anyone want Yash to go, and leave in two people that had an experience to stay in the house. Especially someone that already won a million dollars; and who had a head start in the game with all of the advantages. Not to mention who are bullies. That’s ridiculous
Heard someone say just now : If Yash isn’t voted out there’s a good chance that he wins the game. If Dee isn’t voted out , there’s a good chance she wins the game..
Dee loses to Devens for one reason: he used his DPOV to save her, took over Yash’s 1st HOH and got Kamu evicted.
Dee can’t beat that.
Someone tell me why Melody trusts Drew to vote her way.
She knows he’s not. The fix was in since the advantages. Taylor should have just walked out with Yash because the game was over since the beginning
They are in love with each others.
Yash gave us nothing in his pre-season interview and was just taking up space in the BB House. And the BB Bribe clipped his wings.
He can go find a wife back in the real world now, but he’ll need to find a new job first. My advice is don’t use your former employer as a referral since they didn’t even know he was in sequester. More importantly — get a haircut. A proper one. You’re bad at cutting your own hair. Hang up the scissors. Find a professional barber in your area. Go to Supercuts if your budget’s tight. Or find a hair transplant doctor. Harvest the hair you do have.
I KNEW IT!
If Melody was smart, she would put Yash up as the renom and have everyone take him out, that would be a big move and it would get rid of the strongest competitor.
I’m done. If I wanted to watch survivor I would have tuned in. Not watching another minute of this show.
Same, I turned off the tv and for the first time plan to not finish the season.
You plan not to but you will or at least look up to see how things are going to end if you dont tune in. Good luck with that.
Who could blame you. Can’t wait for this season to end. It’s unfortunate that I can’t stand Dee but on BB I do. She already won Survivor, why did BB put her on !!! CBS allowed it…SMH.
The last great Big Brother was season 15. Where faggot ass woke fussy and true total production manipulation didn’t matter because the players didn’t give a fuck. They each wanted to win 500k not appease the dead beats in American society. Just look at Sydney Sweeney right now with a bunch of left liberals and sorry fat asses that get offended by everything. Knowing that deep down they are their own personal demise. Since BB15 it has been agenda driven and a complete slap in the face into what is truly a fabric to American society where you earn your own keep but to appease the dead beats and inept. This show is a cluster fuck of retardness on display
Harsh to say the least. But I’ll give it a thumbs up for “This show is a cluster fuck of retardedness.”
They just gave 750 to Dee or Devin’s. Drew is a weasel and hope he goes
Can they PLEASE stop showing Drew looking at his stupid face and hair?
I think Drew made a mistake voting out Yash over Dee. He kept the strongest duo in the game. He will be Dee and Devens next target—not Taylor and Melody. Everyone wants to sit next to them in final 2.
Bye, Barrett. He made a bold and necessary move nominating the alleged icons. Unfortunately, it backfired a bit and made him the main target. Melody has come alive at just the right time. Well done. Devens impressively saved himself again, this time with a POV win. See ya, Yash. His “bros” and terrible skullett won’t be missed. Thanks for the f-bomb Taylor – that was the highlight of the night. At this point a Devens, Dee, Melody final three is looking good to me. With Melody pulling out the upset win of the season.
Tonight’s gameplay was the dumbest in Big Brother history. If Melody had put up Drew, then she would still have the most numbers against the icons. Instead the advantage was passed to the icons because Devens and Drew out voted Taylor and kept Dee. Now Drew will band with the icons to get Melody and Taylor out. how stupid can you get. I thought Melody wanted to win. Dumb dumb dumb!!!!
I was asked to post this again and okay someone asked me how did I know that Yash would go in the DE well the writing has been on the wall since the start. ( Yash did not have Jag appeal not an end game plan) . Anyone can win next to Melody and Taylor and that is one of the three D’s: Drew. Devin or Dee.
People laughed when Melody said she will win the game ( I didn’t). Drew is playing his role and will get the stardom he seems and the rest well you all really know I am not interested in the end , we have all known from the beginning what it would be…. see you next summer oh yes here it is:
The season will be over soon ( October 1) , and honestly, I’m relieved. It’s been so boring and predictable, and it really felt stacked from day one. In our household we have lost interest in seeing this show come to its season’s end. To be honest, reading the posts here has been way better than watching the actual show/ feeds sometimes.
I’m usually right on the money when it comes to picking how these seasons wrap up, and I don’t expect tomorrow’s Double Eviction to be any different. Yash is definitely gone tomorrow. Deven has America’s Favorite locked up, and it’s going to be either Dee or Devins taking the win.
Before exiting, please consider donating to keep this site going. The posts, for the most part, here are always insightful, laugh-out-loud funny, and sometimes truly touching. I’ll miss this place—especially Gan ainm and un autre nom’s posts. I really wish, Beef and ssilva 872, we had heard more from you both.
See you all, hopefully, next summer. Wishing all of you good health and peace. Be good to yourself.
Taylor said it on air, “so fuckin stupid”, just like last week when you did the same thing.
“Expect the unexpected” is a tag line they need to kill and bury.
Saying that on live tv used to would have cost the network money so not sure if that is still a rule or not but, if it is i bet taylor and the camera guy who followed her without a 30 sec delay both got in trouble for that verbal slip. not to mention she is an elementary school counselor… not good to do that on national tv during family hours.
hey.
Sorry i missed the Wed Veto episode I watched it but was too benedryled to divide attention and write anything.. And sorry I will be late tonight doing a review of the double. I will likely get around to it If I can stay awake and figure out if I’m making sense. Lots of allergies going nuts, as I said a couple days ago.
In terms of the predictions I was making about the season as of Barrett’s HOH pre noms.
So. Drew imo got the deal for veto because he is the most likely to listen to prodo and protect the stuntcasts in the double even if it means he looks like a total spaz. Well I guess the vote tonight bears that out. Keeping Yash’s sworn enemy in the game via deal going into the double… which never made sense, ensured that the stunts survived.
I became worried for Barrett when i watched the Wed episode because of edit and d/r calls. Melody got far more d/r attention during the 2 hour. That bumped Barrett up to 65 with melody at 20 and Taylor at 15. Best guess I had. So… They’ve ditched the first shown alliances thing for the gender parity thing. Interesting.
If you are tyring to ensure a stuntcast makes the finale, who has to leave? Barrett who already put them on the block and Yash who can beat them in comps. That was a no brainer for me in terms of Yash winning the HOH before the double.
Melody winning 2 comps in one night. Who knew? Not me. I did get the feeling she’d win blockbuster with last night’s edit and the edit first part of episode tonight. Good for her. At least she will not leave as the America of the season. Once Devens won the puzzle veto…. Let’s face it, she was pooched. FOR HER…. the best shot with knowing Drew could screw her over again was getting one of the threats out. Too bad for Yash…. but forecast the moment he won the HOH before double and made a pressure cooker deal. That never works out.
So we have Taylor, the other alternate, Melody the only naysayer consistently to the stuntcast domination…. and Grod’s personal stuntcast bodyguard Drew…. See how we end up with the stuntcast in finale yet?
The one thing I am confused by (other than every illogical move made all season) is how does Dee get the jury votes over Devens? All season I thought Dee would win this season for the story of it, especially considering how much work production has had to put in to get her to the finale. Initially I thought Devens would be sacrificed at some point instead of Angela, so is this Devens season?
Dee wants to cut devens at finals.
It’s her only path to victory.
But A stunt is pretty much guaranteed finale. Not necessarily both.
Would Devens take Dee at this point, likely. I’m at 65 on that.
Would Dee take Devens… only if he won final HOH and it was his choice.
She has said since week threeish that Devens is her final 2 but she can’t go to final 2 with him.
Now. I’m still not 100… i’m only 85 on if i have read correctly from week one.
There is always the obvious plan and the trojan horse. I don’t know which stuntcast is which 100% of the time. I lean havily to Dee…. But Devens having a higher d/r count week one gets me questioning. There was no reason for him to be the voice of the week that week. it was odd. Were they trying to build more of a connecton for HIM to the audience? Or… were they just starting his desired AFP round early??
So RHAP has been invited to the Awards show?
That’s a big step for them as potentially being the OFFICIAL BIG BROTHER PODCAST
Yash leaving during the double is exactly what I predicted last Thursday
Drew pissed me off evicting Yash over Dee
D/R
where we stand as of now
Tier ONE (200+)
Dee 224
Devens 206
Tier TWO (150-199)
Drew 186
Melody 165
Tier Three (100-149)
Taylor 110
Barrett left with 150 or 151
Yash left with 162
Drew and Yash rivalry reflected in the numbers as the biggest jumps. The fact Barrett lagged post HOH Where he came in 3rd or 4th d/r totals AS HOH And then got one of the lowest inclusions in d/r for his last week… yeah. Barrett was toast.
The D/R narrative is painting a picture I have not liked since week one. I’ve been up front with my disdain for stuntcasts. Put them in with equal chance and equal footing to prove they are worth bringing in from a game perspective.
THE SCALE WAS SO TIPPED THIS SEASON THAT THE STUNTCASTS WERE COMPLAINING IT WAS BORING AND TOO EASY. THAT IS A PROBLEM. 6 weeks of safety followed by REALLY increased d/r calls that DON’T MATCH D/R representation in episodes but DO come with attitude shifts to work with or protect Stuntcasts over and over?
The bribe and the Pressure Cooker deal having intercom or d/r monkey input? Please. Dee had 5 D/R calls and Yash had 2 D/R calls before the bribe was made and accepted IN ONE MORNING / EARLY AFT. We all saw Yash and Drew looking off to the side not each other during talks of the Pressure cooker deal…. If you aren’t smelling Grod you really should be. Affect? The survivor stuntcasts are now in the bump up phase of pay scale (top 5). So now instead of almost 4x the weekly pay… they’ll be getting 5x the weekly pay? At this point both stunts have already made roughly AFP money or MORE (Dee gets more than Devens because her rate is higher as a Survivor winner). The other 3? Roughly 13k at last count of weekly stipend before top 5 bonus money.
But hey… Nothing to see here. Sideye.
