7:41pm – 8:42pm The Big Brother 28 Live Feeds were blocked for the nomination ceremony. As Head Of Household Taylor nominated: DREW & DEE
(The above nominations were what Taylor planned to do prior to the nomination ceremony. They’re not officially confirmed but highly likely based on what Taylory planned and comments when the feeds returned.)
How the Final 4 Veto Works:
- All Play: All four remaining houseguests—the Head of Household (HOH), the two nominees, and the non-nominee—compete in the final Power of Veto competition.
- If a Nominee Wins: If one of the two people on the block wins the veto, they remove themselves. The HOH must then name the single remaining non-safe player as the replacement nominee. The veto winner is safe and holds the sole vote to decide which of the other two houseguests goes to jury.
- If the Non-Nominee Wins: If the person who is not on the block (and not the HOH) wins the veto, they typically choose not to use it, leaving the original nominations the same. That veto winner still holds the sole vote to evict one of the two nominees.
- If the HOH Wins: If the HOH wins the veto, nominations stay the same or they can choose to shake them up, but because they cannot vote as HOH, they instead choose which of the eligible houseguests gets the sole power to cast the eviction vote.
- The Sole Vote: There is no traditional group eviction vote by the house. The person holding the power after the veto ceremony makes the final decision on who becomes the last member of the jury.
As the final days of Big Brother 28 are drawing to a close, after the Veto competition tomorrow we lead into the Final 3 Part HOH competition: How the Big Brother Final HOH Works

8:43pm – 9:25pm Kitchen – Drew and Dee
Drew – are you cooking it with love? Dee – yeah. Drew – Why does it look like hate? Dee – No dude. No, no, no I’m doing it with love. I’m doing it with the same love that Taylor does it with just not as much. Final Four Dinner. See we can survive. Don’t worry I’ll cook for you, if you keep me.
Devens in the havenot room making his bed.. He then joins Dee and Drew in the kitchen. Devens – We did a lot today.. Nomination Ceremony, Eviction, HOH and Nominations. Drew – I feel like the next couple days is just going to be us three hanging out and like her (Taylor) up in there listening to music. Devens – yeah I think its possible. Drew – we’re definitely going to have a host for the veto. Devens – Maybe. Drew – Unless you want to do like double shift it.. like I’ll host and I’ll play. Devens – Ok! Drew – your stress levels in here are they more or less than Survivor? Dee – Paranoia is higher on Survivor because you’re always up for grabs and just not eating and its just so much more fast paced.
They talk about Melody. Devens – Every time I was around Melody she was either angry or crying She was never having a good time.. rarely. Drew – I agree.

9:35pm Kitchen – Drew and Devens
Devens – The more I think about it, the more it legitimately seems like a good idea to win the veto tomorrow. Drew – I’ve been saying this all season. That my strategy’s been if you win HOH, or veto or both every week, they literally can’t vote you out. Devens – That’s true. Drew – And if you win the blockbuster on top of that.. Devens – thanks for sharing that with me. Drew – but keep that one to yourself.

9:50pm – 10:23pm Havenot Room – Drew and Devens
Devens asks Drew if he and Melody ever kissed. Drew – No. Devens – Not once? Drew – No, not once. Devens – Not even a peck? Drew – Dude, we never kissed. Devens – not once? Drew – dude I swear. Devens – Did you ever try to kiss her? Did you ever say why won’t you kiss me? Drew – no but the last day she was like its weird like everything thinks we’ve kissed. And I was like yeah. She’s like that’s funny right? Because we haven’t.. And I was like well I’m going to go to the other room now. Devens – You guys are so weird. You guys are so funny. Drew – because we’re friends. Devens – A showmance would not have put any bigger of a target on you guys because I would have thought you were in a showmance.. but it still would have been a distraction. If I had seen you kissing I guess I would have been like wow.. even more so.. Drew – yeah.
Drew and Devens talk jury votes and who they think they might have. Devens comments on how he doesn’t know how Dee would vote because he hasn’t seen how she would react if she was screwed over by a friend so he doesn’t know if he would have her vote or not. Devens comments on how he and Drew should make it a final 2 father / son thing.
They comment on how they made it to the last nomination ceremony and the last veto. Devens – We’ve come a long way.

10:43pm Devens has headed to bed. Taylor is in the diary room. Dee is listening to the HOH music and Drew is showering..

MY QUEEN
Who? Taylor?! Dee is the only queen in the house.
only queen is no one
drew get that veto.
ha yall mad?
Well, at least Taylor finally won something.
I thought see had previously won a comp
You’re absolutely right.
I meant to say that she finally won something else, but I screwed up & left off the word “else”. My bad. Sorry about that.
yes she won 1 that was complete luck. and then she won when she was only up against 3 people..
I would like to see Drew in final 2 just because I’m curious how he would explain his game to the jury.
It will be messy just like Vince
It would be funny if Taylor and him are in the finals and we see a repeat of Ashley winning lol
yeah, that’s kinda the situation. devens and dee are miles ahead of drew and taylor. but a devens/dee final 2 is difficult to call as is a drew/taylor final 2.
overall drew’s game is messy and terrible, screwing over everyone to give dee and devens a better shot of winning while weakening his own chances in the process. but socially taylor made almost no effort to make friends. would dee, devens, melody, and barrett overlook drew’s terrible gameplay because they had more social interaction with him than taylor?
meanwhile taylor never screwed anyone over albeit because she almost never had power. she did form a strong bond with latrice, and lala has been in jury since it began with all the opportunity to spend that time championing taylor. if taylor gives solid responses to the jury questions while drew fumbles through them would that be enough?
personally i’m inclined to give taylor the edge as i do think latrice will be selling taylor’s game pretty hard and i think taylor can get votes from latrice, angela, yash, and dee which would be all she needs. any votes beyond that would be a bonus, but they’re not off the table. devens, barrett, and melody aren’t crazy about how drew’s played the game and could flip on him, making taylor not even need dee and angela if it’s close but for argument’s sake i’ll put dee and angela in the swing position (as i imagine angela votes how dee votes). the circumstances of dee’s eviction could thus ultimately be the deciding factor of who would win a taylor/drew final. does dee feel backstabbed by drew? does she feel taylor stepped up? it’s tough to say and frankly even tougher to care.
He would probably talk about how he was targeted for weeks and had to win comps something like that I guess ?
Still think Dee or Devens will somehow win this veto.
You don’t say lol. No worries productions got it handled. It’s what they do.
The final nail on this season’s coffin is realizing that no matter how much feeders try to analyze what the HGs are saying to each other before this veto, who might be lying to whom and what is the best choice of eviction for each Crossover, that it’s all pointless and I must stop investing any more into this.
Crossover cam talks have also at times been lies this season.
All of this talk between Crossovers is most likely for show narrative and episode, as Dee and Devens were prompted from before the start of this season. They also know what makes them into more interesting characters with a more compelling narrative, to get more of a fan base.
It seems very unlikely that either of them will cut each other at this point now. It’s F2 for 2 Survivors. Only wrench is if Drew wins F4 veto and F2 HOH. Even he is probably going to take Devens, not Tay. Or if Tay wins Final HOH. But in terms of Dee and Devens, I don’t think they are cutting each other.
i dunno. i think devens wins any final 2, so it really doesn’t matter who he takes as long as he gets there. dee meanwhile probably shouldn’t take devens but that requires her to win the final hoh which is usually based on studying what happened in the game and she’s probably the weakest remaining in the house at knowing that stuff by a wide margin.
Just so we can dispense with the maybe of it all.
Was Melody correct not to trust Yash and Taylor when they pushed for a Drew renom during the double?
Yes.
Taylor has said twice that she was going to flip her vote to evict Drew that night. SO we were ALWAYS going to keep BOTH survivors. Taylor was going to be just as much of a moron for the second week in a row as Drew was in their eviction vote during the double.
She has openly stated she wants Drew evicted at 4. More than once since winning Final 4 HOH.
So Taylor wants to go to final 3 with the 2 stuntcasts because she wants each of them to choose her for final 2.
Problem:
Jury argument negation. If there are only 2 newbs left and you choose to target the other newb, you cannot go to the jury and then argue that the stuntcasts done already had theirs when you had the opportunity to make the finalists two newbs but chose to target the other one. Oh you can try the argument…. but you’ll be laughed at as the hypocrite you are.
THIS is the same argument Drew would face if he had won final 4 HOH and targeted Taylor (although i’m 90 he would have targeted Dee from his lay up convos with Melody about taking Taylor if Melody was gone, and his lay up convos with camera).
Targets are irrelevant in nominations at final 4… I do get that. Really. But when claiming what you did with power to a jury that is all about what comps you won and what you did when you had power, intention matters. LaTrice, Angela, Barrett, Yash and Melody have allll had moments on feeds (and for La and Ang also during the heavily scripted jury visit… yeah those clips are very production notes supervised get real) where they talked about what they want from a winner.
Can social game be claimed to this jury? Only so far as saying what alliance you were in that kept you from being evicted when on the block on eviction night. The miasmic alliance charting makes it idiotic to attempt to claim alliancing as social game in any other sense, because the ego of the jurors will not allow for the ‘in multiple alliances at the same time’ argument as social game. It just won’t. While nobody on jury this season can claim true loyalty (except possibly Melody from the jurors and even then it’s 50/50), every single one of them sure pontificates about being loyal to your alliance like they didn’t double dip and squirrel.
The “won when they had to argument” is also a slippery slope. If someone has been in the final 2 nominee chairs on eviction night they didn’t win when they had to… they were just considered a lesser threat than the other nominee for eviction. Drew can make this argument far more effectively than Taylor can make this argument. Winning one veto and one HOH when nominated 5 or 6 times? Not as impressive an argument as never sitting in the final 2 nominee seats come eviction night when nominated due to either veto or block buster victories.
So. Who can effectively use the won when they needed to argument? Drew and Devens. They never sat in the final 2 nom seats. Taylor and Dee cannot say this.
I still contend the only way a survivor leaves is at the hand of the other survivor. It’s the story production has been feeding us as a will they won’t they since week 8. Again, read your edits. What prodo takes from the feeds and highlights in the episodic version tells us what they want us to view as important. The highly directed questioning and partially scripted d/r emphasize this.
From this point of view, it is highly unlikely Drew wins final veto… but hey, maybe the baby icon shit he’s been pushing as the gatekeeper to icon safety does have a higher payoff than we thought (Ithought).
Okay. those are my coffee thoughts before work. Enjoy your day!
I truly did not expect a Drew veto because the last 3 weeks there has been a concerted push in storyline for the will sufvivors stab survivors or will they stay loyal.
Color me surprised for the first time this season.
no really. I extected the Taylor HOH.
DID NOT EXPECT A DREW VETO.
yeah, yash and taylor definitely were gonna vote out drew. there was no good option for melody.
what’s crazy is that drew and taylor still seem to be targeting each other and haven’t figured out that the only way either of them win is if they go to the final 2 together.
They are viewing things from their own perspective. In Drew’s eyes he’s played the perfect middle game, going back an forth from side to side, protecting himself while doing so.
What most of the other players see is a rat who constantly sucked up to Devens and Dee, lied to pretty much everybody else throughout the game, and backstabbed at least one (Barrett) of his F2 deals, and maybe Melody too. We still don’t know how she went out.
Taylor thinks she played a great social game, and was responsible for the eviction of several players early on (Lyric, Kamu), while also “managing” Lala and Yash’s HOH’s, as well as her own.
What most of the other players see is somebody who spent half the game asleep in her pod, who’s only win (before the F4 HOH which we haven’t seen yet) was a lame veto comp where you had a 50/50 chance of guessing which glass of “wine” was poison and which was not. It was the definition of a “crap shoot” competition.
If either of them ends up opposite either Devens or Dee, they should lose, but there’s no telling what a Big Brother jury will do. Ashley should have lost to Vince, but the disdain for him was so strong, we all know what happened there. We also know what happened in BB24 – “If not now, WHEN?” – and why that happened, which had absolutely nothing to do with who played the best game.
Pretty hard for me to say that Devens and Dee deserve to win, given all the advantages they were given and the protection they were provided, but I abhor rat play, and Taylor just didn’t do anything in the game to help herself win.
i think you make a good point.
drew does seem to think he played a good middle game, but i definitely don’t think the jury would think so as he always did what the icons wanted rather than really ever switching sides. basically they were constantly sus of him (for no real reason) and then he bent over backwards to prove his loyalty to them, screwing over everyone else in the process.
likewise taylor definitely thought she was the brains behind everything lala and yash did as well as a few other game moves. i think lala may be selling that in the jury house as well, so taylor’s argument may have some weight, but i likewise think most of the house just saw her as anti-social and hanging out in her pod all day.
i agree with the advantages situation and i do think part of why dee went as long as she did is that many houseguests feel since she already won survivor they won’t vote for her to win big brother which as it’s gotten closer to the end when they’re realizing they actually have to pick someone specific to win rather than generic person, they’ve realized the fault in that logic because there isn’t a “someone specific” whose game they like more than hers. the reality is that in spite of the advantages there were still opportunities to take them out that the icons at least had a hand in convincing the rest of the house to not take. i do think the icons should win if they get to the end, but drew and taylor definitely need the money more and that may get enough sympathy from the jury to get votes. so it’s not entirely impossible a newbie beats an icon, it just seems unlikely.
Worst season of Big Brother ever. I hope there is an anti-icon faction in the jury that will vote for Taylor no matter what. Lala, Barrett, Yash and Melody can determine the winner. Devens is a pompous ass, Dee is a cruel bully and Drew is their loyal lap dog rat.
i was thinking that and then i remembered bb13. i’ll take this final 4 over that final 4 any day.
FORGOT to add this to my last post.
Thai just shows that Devens deserves the win, but it won’t happen.
It’s not for the sake of who has a winning case.
It’s meant to be a season long snapshot of what their part in the game was.
As far as this graphic… I do it every season at final 4. It’s habit.
Just so we all know how they got where they got.
devens is in really good position. the remaining comps are all remembering events which is a huge weakness for dee. drew clearly intends to take devens to the end, and taylor is currently targeting drew (though devens would likely be next). i think devens wins if he makes it to the end, and he’s in good position to do so.
FINAL $
Taylor via HOH
Drew via Veto
Devens or Dee WILL be evicted.
And not by each other.
HOW the hell does PRODO justify 16 d/r and 2 in edit house convos about the survivors possibly turning on each other????
DO EITHER Taylor or Drew somehow now possess win equity????
I’m not willing to go that far.
Against either survivor? I still think the number of times each of the newbs was nominated by a Survivor and STILL voted to keep them in the game and make alliances with them is something that will tarnish them to jury.
Barrett and Melody might be the most offended by such a notion.
Expect multiple waffles from Drew. Take out Daddy… or take out Dee. He’s going to pull his hair out. with the amount of time he spends playing with his godawful hair? not a stretch.
Last one.
Possible case if Drew were in final 2.
Manipulated houseguests to get rid of Kamu. That whole week was him half truthing and then out right lying to different groups in the house to make sure Kamu left.
He is the reason Yash was out. for his game? That’s the best move for him at that time considering he thought he still had daddy and daddy would keep his promise.
He will take out a stuntcast at final 4
he never sat on the block as of eviction night. Veto and blockbuster.
BUT
Is anyone willing to overlook HOW MUCH he was in the pocket of other players to SEE that in those three cases he did what was best for himself?
THIS IS HIS SOCIAL GAME ERROR. Nobody respects how he played the game.
I’m not easily surprised after 12 seasons commenting here. And I own when I’m wrong.
I thought for certain a stuntcast would win veto to have the will they won’t they turn on each other payoff.
JURY VOTE THREATS.
THAT is what we are getting from Devens and Dee.
Why is their go to ALWAYS a bully move????
Devens COULD be pushing that final 2 he made with Drew 2 weeks ago. Show loyalty to the jury to show you weren’t a weasel the WHOLE game type talk.
Dee could be pushing every move Devens made makes him the automatic winner.
But their first thought is intimidation.
Personal:
IF i were ever in a big brother environment and someone threatened jury votes…. by a vote of me against your bullshit you are evicted from the big brother house.
Just saying. This intimidate and threaten bullshit lowers my almost non existent respect level. Come on in stuntcasts… be given multiple advantages and production fixes and d/r chats to other houseguests about saving you for a good 6 weeks… and hey, every time things don’t go your way? be a bully.
assholes.
Same. I’m shocked production let Drew win.
Grod is doing mass firings as we speak.
but now we find out which one got the a plus performer contract and which one got the just a grade stuntcast contract. lol. She couldn’t crown them both finalist.
Drew won veto. Devins is toast. Whah
Oh.
I just realized.
This week we find out which stuntcast was touched by the hand of Grod.
While I’ve been considering Dee most likely, I’ve also had the nagging suspicion due to week one d/r pushes that it could be Devens.
I have never been able to FULLY figure out which is the TROJAN HORSE.
We alsways have that. The presupposed early season winner that covers for the game of the Actual Grod sponsor.
Yeah, like everyone else i’ve been thinking it is most likely Dee…. but I’ve never been able to say definitively because every time the scale tips, if flips back to but it could be Devens.
So… Is the the CBS trifecta type? Oh you know as well as I do that CBS has been looking for someone to be the first winner of Survivor AND Amazing Race AND Big Brother. It’s one of those things that is out there in the verse. Dee has spoken enough about Amazing Race that it’s possible. So is Devens there as a built in guarantee she makes it deep???
ORRR
Are we finally getting Devens’ ego stroked by winning something… with Dee there to support HIM?
This is what i’ve never been able to decide.
Now we can find out.
Devens has amazing rapport with BB from what I’ve seen on the feeds so that could help him get Grods blessing. Or maybe that’s just with the crew and Grod has always intended for Dee to win as some evidence suggests. But yeah, the trifecta thing. That’s an attention grabber which translates to higher ratings so…we’ll see.
Enough old and mid school vets of bb and surv have made noises about the trifecta that it has become a thing that we as the fans must be aware of as something the wigs in the network would like to see happen. But…. they aren’t just going to throw it to any old vet. They want a celebutard they can celebrity as face of the genre.
Oddly, there is not usually the same noise about the trifecta coming from former Amazing Racers. I have no idea why. I sorta wonder… about their fandom.
We all know Survivor is the jewel in the cbs crown of their reality entertainment game shows. Oddly enough, bb is considered lower class for some reason… i have theories but who knows. Amazing Race and Survivor have the traditional filming schedule (short term filming edited to be about two and a half months of episodes), while bb has the pesky ‘real time’ of the feeds. I have wondered if that has something to do with why it is considered the redheaded step child of the cbs reality gameshow experiences.
It is. I mean, Survivor can have a guy on for most of the season while getting complaints of being sexually inappropriate with female talent and staff…. say sorry we’ll do better and everyone forgets they were complicit in creating that environment. Suvivor can spoil their own finale on live episode… wow.
Imagine if CHenbot walked out and revealed the final 2 before they started playing part one of the final HOH. The outcry. Lol. DIfferent standards for different programs I guess.
So Drew will take himself off the block. Will the eviction also immediately take place? Will we have to wait until Thursday to know If Devens or Dee is sent to jury. Please make it Dee.
