Big Brother 28 Spoilers – Final 4 Head of Household Winner

Taylor won the final Head of Household of the season. Melody was evicted earlier the same day, in a veto ceremony that doubled as an eviction — Drew won the Power of Veto and used it on himself, Devens named Taylor as the replacement, and Melody went out that afternoon. Four are left on Big Brother 28, and Taylor makes the last nominations.

Final four: Taylor, Drew, Dee and Devens. Taylor is Head of Household. Devens could not play, having just come off his own reign. Melody joins Barrett and Yash in the jury house — all three gone inside five days.

The veto is the whole game now. Devens, four minutes after Taylor won it: “Nominations don’t matter at all.”

Dee and Devens have already picked their third. Alone upstairs, they agreed that if they win the veto they take Taylor to the final three — which means cutting Drew, four days after Dee swore to him she would use the veto on him and he told her he was serious about sitting beside her at the end.

4:50 PM — Dee and Devens

Taylor gets called away, and Dee and Devens get four minutes alone.

Production: “Taylor, please go to the diary room downstairs.”

Devens runs the version where Drew had won it instead.

Devens: “She’s going no matter what, but if Drew won and then she wins, it’s definitely one of us.”
Devens: “If she wins veto, she thinks he goes home.”
Devens: “If Drew had won, it definitely would be us.”
Dee: “That would have been us.”

Which is how Taylor winning turns into good news.

Dee: “It’s not the worst. Because Drew has no intention. If Drew is at the end, he’s not going to take her over one of us.”
Devens: “I would think not. Especially now that her resume is getting better. She could win.”
Dee: “If Drew stays, Drew is not taking her to the end.”

Devens
“Especially now that her resume is getting better. She could win.”

Then they get to it.

Dee: “If we stay, we will take her to the end.”
Devens: “Nominations don’t matter at all.”
Dee: “We just have to win veto. That solidifies it — you and me, we take—”
Devens: “You, me and Taylor.”
Dee: “We take Taylor.”

Dee and Devens
“You, me and Taylor.” — “We take Taylor.”

They high five on it.

5:28 pm

6:09 PM — Devens and Drew

Twenty minutes, mostly on the jury.

Devens: “I was sitting there going, like, it’s day 77 and she still doesn’t know. Drew and I have been working together. Like, I don’t understand.”
Drew: “When we were sitting there, when you put us up, she was like, if you don’t win that veto, this is it for you.”
Devens: “And I was like, yeah. I know I have to go win it.”
Devens: “She was basically like, I can help you take care of your Drew problem. And I’m like — I don’t have a Drew problem.”

Devens
“She was basically like, I can help you take care of your Drew problem. And I’m like — I don’t have a Drew problem.”

Devens: “I fought pretty hard to keep Drew around. A couple of times.”
Drew: “During that double. It was so weird. I was in that room with all four of them — me, Melody, Taylor, Yash. And they’re like, Devens has to go. And I’m like, listen, guys…”
Devens: “It’s so weird. I know they like each other, but they want each other out so bad. We don’t want each other out of the game.”
Drew: “Part of me thinks it’s because I’m younger, and they think, like, I’m an idiot. And they’re like, you don’t wanna work with him. You know, like, he hates you, right?”
Devens: “Even Taylor today was like, you know, if you get rid of Melody, Drew will be your— and I’m like, yeah.”
Drew: “That’s exactly why. That’s what I’ve been trying to do forever.”

Devens: “Based on everyone here, we’ve won the most. Not even close.”
Devens: “That’s what we gotta do.”
Devens: “I want to win it so bad, obviously. I do. But, man, that is going to suck.”
Drew: “For you.”
Devens: “Like, really bad. It’s just like, I can’t do another season 38. I can’t do it again. Where I lead with my heart and don’t get—”
Drew: “It’s tough, but you’d rather be in the position doing it than receiving it.”

Devens
“I can’t do another season 38. I can’t do it again. Where I lead with my heart and don’t get—”

Then they count the jury.

Drew: “If you think about what the jury is, it’s pretty female.”
Devens: “You can just look at it and be like, that ain’t gonna work out. Angela. Lala.”
Drew: “Melody. For sure.”
Devens: “Especially the last couple days. And, like, weeks. Honestly. There’s no way Melody would vote for me over Dee.”
Drew: “I think you’d have Barrett. And maybe Yash. But I could also see Yash going… yeah, that’s four already. With all the girls.”
Devens: “Yeah, I agree.”

Drew: “I think I’m the best person to sit next to, period. I pissed off a lot of people in there.”
Drew: “Angela was telling Dee she would not give me the money because I was 22 years old. So that’s tough.”
Drew: “I voted Barrett out, but I don’t know if he cares. He might.”
Drew: “Yash — me and him have been tight the whole time. I didn’t do anything bad to him.”
Devens: “Neither of us did anything to Yash, ever.”
Devens: “It’s us, dog.”

And then Taylor.

Drew: “She would have all the girls.”
Drew: “It pisses me off that it’s true, but maybe just out of, like, friendship.”
Devens: “That is how these things usually go.”
Drew: “She hasn’t pissed anybody off the whole time. And whoever goes out here, they’re going to get praised for it. It’s either going to be, I got Dee out, who was an icon. I got Devens out, who was an icon. I got Drew out, who got Yash out.”
Devens: “She’s a hero no matter what.”

Devens
“She’s a hero no matter what.”

Back to the comp.

Drew: “Dude, I felt so good when they said it was a puzzle today. I was like, Devens isn’t playing. I was like, this should be mine.”
Devens: “I was so pissed.”
Devens: “And then you clocked the first round, and I was like, oh — half the time of them. This is great. Why did it have to be two rounds?”
Drew: “Could it have just been one?”
Drew: “And then it’s Taylor and Drew. Oh, f—ing God.”
Devens: “Puzzles are not her forte.”

Drew: “What was her forte on Survivor? It seems like she’s pretty physical.”
Devens: “She’s good at endurance, she’s good at physical stuff. But it’s different endurance than here.”
Drew: “The reason we don’t see too many Big Brother people go to Survivor is because… I think Survivor’s way harder. I would say it’s more physically demanding.”
Devens: “They’re hard in different ways. You’re getting the hell beat out of you on Survivor.”
Devens: “The second she started yelling at producers and stuff on Survivor, I’d be like… really? It’s a very different game.”

Then the season’s numbers, which neither of them can quite leave alone.

Devens: “Everyone in here has been in HOH.”
Drew: “Isn’t that cool? Usually there’s, like, one person that sweeps it.”
Devens: “I feel like I have so much extra stuff to pack just from two HOHs. These people that are winning four HOHs — how do you have room for all your hoodies and hats and slippers? Like, four extra pairs of shoes to take home.”
Drew: “So ten people. Makes it feel a little less special, huh?”
Devens: “How many people won two?”
Drew: “Yash, you, Dee? F— you.”
Devens: “So far.”
Drew: “Maybe I’ll get the last one. That would be cool.”

Devens: “He would have gotten to final five, at least. I would think he’d regret it. Like, you went out the very next time. How do you not regret that?”
Drew: “That’s like the biggest worry — you win and you go home. Like Melody.”
Devens: “Or Yash. During the double.”

Drew: “What an interesting game. Who knows, man? I’m excited. But I’m also nervous as f—.”
Devens: “Yeah, I co-sign to those feelings.”
Drew: “We have been here for pretty much 95% of the game.”
Drew: “I’m really proud of, like — okay, cool, this was a great experience. It could have been really bad. This was my one shot of being on a show, and I went out third, and I’m like, damn.”\

Drew: “Just gotta win out. I really feel like you and me at the end is a toss-up. The next couple could decide it — not only us getting there, but who wins.”
Devens: “Those are definitely our best odds.”
Drew: “I think we both get sweeped by the girls. Like, hardcore. Sweeped.”

Drew
“I think we both get sweeped by the girls. Like, hardcore. Sweeped.”

Drew: “A coin flip at the end. Julie, we’d like to do this instead. We want to bring out Mr. Beast. And he — heads or tails — and he flips a coin.”

Drew: “How different this game could have gone with, like, Kamu staying another week, or Rome being here. I could just see Rome just plowing through some comps.”
Drew: “If he won that Blockbuster and then Kamu put him up, I could see him winning that pickleball one. And beating Lyric. And then Rome would be here week five. On the wall. And we’d be like, oh, s—.”
Drew: “Rome and Yash being in the house together would be like, oh s—, those guys are a problem.”

Drew: “I always thought I’d be out before Melody. Based on zero threat level for her.”

YES!!! Now it’s damn near certain an icon is getting evicted. Taylor can win this game now!

It doesn’t matter if Drew casts the vote to evict Dee — he’ll be viewed as someone who was forced to do it rather than choosing to do it.

Devens will 100% evict Dee now if he wins Veto.

Dee winning Veto is the big question mark. Does she take Devens out now or does she clip Drew for fear he’ll be a bigger comp threat at Final 3?

Mike Honcho

YESSSSSS!! Go Tay Tay lol

Robert

I was hoping, drama-wise, that Taylor would win because meeting scenarios are in play

ButtersMom

the only thing that matters is the veto… go drew

Team Taylor

Drew won’t get the credit for evicting an icon simply because he’s forced to. Instead, Taylor will be seen as the power player for winning HOH and forcing the others to cannibalize each other.

The only way Taylor loses the game is if Drew gets evicted. She can’t beat either Dee or Devens at Final 2.

Gan ainm

Well. I guess I can expect the unexpected.

Baddogchalet

This is going to be Ashley all over again. Does nothing all season until the very end. Ugh!

Timothée Elordi

There are 28 different ways to win Big Brother. You don’t necessarily have to do one specific thing throughout the entire season to deserve the win. If you find a way to win, then that’s the winning strategy that worked for that particular winner.
And honestly, if one of the Icons had made it to the finale, you guys probably would’ve complained about that too.
People on this site really criticize the show and the contestants way too much whenever their favorite doesn’t win.

To by? ten czas

She s not win Big Brother yet. Also, only person she can beat is maybe Drew.

modern bb is rigged

yup and would fit the theme of most the winners of the modern era..

bon Hurley

Unbelievable.. Taylor wins HOH.. Final three now up to the veto winner.

whywecanthavenicethings

I’m dying at this photo. It’s me bitches, I won F4 HOH. Red lipstick coming out.

I want to frame this for my room to give me life inspiration.

Nixie-Pix

I hope Taylor wins the whole thing. Her social game was actually better than anyone’s and, she did play BB.

Steveo

I think the only way Taylor wins is if the jury is bitter towards Dee and Devens. If she is final 2 she has Lala, Yash, probably Melody and maybe Barrett’s vote.

modern bb is rigged

LOL no.

Kkb

The third seat is automatic Taylor. I think they were talking that they will tell T that they each will take her to the end so in case she wins Veto, she will evict Drew, but they will actually take each other over Taylor

The Beef

Did their conversation take place before or after Taylor won HOH? Because if it was after, those two really don’t understand how the game works.

Taylor just guaranteed her spot in final 3 by winning the final 4 HOH, and Dee and Devens have got no say in that whatsoever.

ButtersMom

they have a say if one of them wins the veto. the veto winner casts the only vote

bb4eva

No, The Beef is right. He said they have no say in Taylor’s making it to F3 by winning the F4 HOH. It doesn’t matter if one of them wins the final veto. They will still have absolutely no say in Taylor’s making it to F3. Her HOH win guarantees that it’s a done deal.

modern bb is rigged

of course taylor would win (well done production). Only good that come of this is that Drew wins POV. And sends Dee home. Or else Devans is our last hope.

Timothée Elordi

Well, here we go again—another comment from someone who gets overly invested every year and claims the show is rigged.

modern bb is rigged

look at all the winners after all stars 2. if you are claiming it is a coincidence you are very naive. a couple earned it, but still. an agenda was pushed, and achieved.

Timothée Elordi

If you think the show is rigged, then why do you get so invested in it every year? If you already believe it’s rigged, I honestly find it amazing that you keep watching it every single year.

modern bb is rigged

didnt watch all of them in their entirety. just until I could see what direction it was going and was becoming hopeless. fortunately this season still has hope. anyways unless you are new to these shows you can see the theme as it also happened in the modern era of survivor. Just used to be so much more enjoyable to watch. When wins for the most part were earned vs pushed in a direction to satisfy cancel culture.

orwell the out of work BBAD owl

WOW! Taylor won. Never seen that happening. She went from the outhouse to the penthouse.

ssilva872

Of course she wins.

I’m hoping Drew wins the final Veto and votes out Dee.

modern bb is rigged

yep production giving each other high fives in the back room.

bon Hurley

Unbelievable….. Taylor is HOH and in final three.. Everything up to the veto winner.. My hope Drew wins and sends Dee to jury.

JustMyOpinion

Fingers and toes crossed Dee goes to jury.

Gan ainm

Since it is hard for me to see this Survivor spin off as an actual season of Big Brother, I don’t really think any of them have legitimately played the game or are worthy of being crown a winner. On principle I do not want a Survivor winner. Period. In an attempt to be fair, I think Drew and Devens did more for their games than Taylor and Dee. We watched Drew and production protect the Survivors all season, but I don’t let most of the other houseguest off the hook either, including Taylor Yash and Melody for also protecting them. Whoever wins is a loss.

bb4eva

I disagree. I think Taylor winning would not be a loss. In my opinion she’s the only one left who would be a worthwhile representative of the franchise as the winner. Devens & Dee got way too much production help to be seen as legit winners. And don’t get me started on the Weasel. What a total waste of a cast slot.

un autre nom

How long did it take these two mensa survivors to figure out Taylor has already got a ticket to final 3 and they do not have a say in the matter.
Seems they were still trying to finagle in their minds how THEY were in control of who goes to 3 with them.
As I said earlier today.
These twits do not understand how final 4 functions.

I mean. if it takes you a minute and a half to realize one of the two of you must win veto in order to control who goes home….
oy.

JustMyOpinion

I’m confused as to the down votes. Un autre nom is 100% correct.

un autre nom

I’ve never actually concerned myself with up or down votes. I think a couple of my early seasons here as an anonymous contributor I got a lot lot lot lot LOT of downvotes, and just decided one day that I don’t give a damn. So I look now and at present 4? I think my record was 57 down votes. It made me feel happy. 57 strangers cared enough about what I had to say that they felt the need to attempt to shame me with peer pressure… like that’s possible. lol. Down votes are a badge of honor. haha.

whywecanthavenicethings

Those are the die hard icon devotees, probably Survivor fans. If not, they can step forward now to explain themselves, lol, or stay silent and just feel misunderstood.

bb4eva

Ditto.

The Beef

I said the same thing in a post above. I’m not sure they quite understand how final 3 HOH works either, even though Drew has explained it to them a couple of times now.

Why is it there are hundreds of thousands of people who want to get on to the show, if not millions, who DO know how things work, but are bypassed for stuntcasts who not only have never watched it, but can’t even be bothered to do a little research into how it’s played, before they show up to be treated like “Icons” of a game they don’t even know how to play?

Amy

Who has won the most comps out of the remaining 4? HOH, BB,VETO. I think Devins.

The Beef

Devens = 2 HOH, 2 Vetos and 2 Blockbusters. Also 1 gifted Diamond Veto.

Drew = 1 HOH, 2 Vetos and 2 Blockbusters.

Dee = 2 HOH. Gifted 1 BB Bribe.

Taylor = 1 HOH and 1 Veto.

whywecanthavenicethings

What is this buffoonery? Witch craft? They speak as if they made the choice to keep Taylor this week?

If we stay, we take her to end…….?

She’s HOH.

They are so heady from the power advantage all season, they cannot speak about the F3 with Taylor as anything other than their own doing.

‘This is so much better than a Drew win, and goodness knows Dee could not win it (it was a puzzle comp), so we are fully in control of this having worked to best case. We are TAKING TAYLOR!’. May it be known amongst our fans on the episode.

bb4eva

What it is stupid being stupid.

Dale

Are double dee and devins pretending like they are taking each other to the final or do they both openly acknowledge they are taking taylor to final three to be their second?

bb4eva

THEY aren’t taking Taylor to final 3.
TAYLOR is taking Taylor to final 3.
Taylor has ALREADY taken herself to final 3 by winning the final 4 HOH.

Dale

I understand how bb works. The relavant part is, in their mind, per reported discussion, they are choosing to “take” Taylor. That said, the question was are they deciding that because they think they can beat her and truly take each other or are they telling each other that but one or both are totally planning to take Taylor.

BB fan

Devins HAS to know his best bet to F2 is keeping Drew. I really hope he was just paying Dee lip service. It would be so much better for him if they booted Dee now shoukd she now win veto.

Truela

Devens and Drew on the block, please, Taylor.

un autre nom

As I listened to Drew and Devens discuss the gender issue… i think my eyes rolled so hard they are now in someone else’s head.
Devens says that if the women think the gender thing IS a thing when going to final 2, he doesn’t like it.

Reminder: Bro Devens was in how many Brolliances made specifically because they were with other men?
Also note that up until Barrett won HOH…. Barrett had zero comp wins but got ‘you’ll get em next time, slugger’ style talk while the women with zero comp wins were considered irrelevant, inconsequential and frankly, unworthy of being in the game for having the exact same comp record.
Remember when Devens and Dee wanted to break the toolshed and ride with the Red Corner? They sited the strength of that alliance, including Chuk. I remember thinking at the time… really? What’s his comp record? What’s his strategic edge? What’s his understanding of the game? And he’s considered a strong candidate to move forward with in the game???? Why, because he has muscles and bro’s down?

The men in this season have been pulling a gender bias seminar on how to bro down for over two months. And yet.. here are two men tut tutting the idea that a jury with three women and two men currently….. will be a gender biased jury.
Their conclusion that they have to take each other to final 2 otherwise the evil women will vote against a man feels like false justification NOT validating reason. It tells me that THEY as jurors would be more likely to vote a male winner, and therefore that’s how everyone thinks. sideye.

That was how I was reading that convo. I do get that both are trying to grease each other in case one wins veto and gets to decide who is evicted. I get that. At the same time, the way they’ve brodowned soooo much this season, i can’t help but think part of them believes it.

BB fan

I am a lady. I purely go on game play. However, all of the ladies in the jury have openly stated that they want a woman to win. That is why Devins and Drew were having that discussion.

whywecanthavenicethings

Their discussion goes so far deeply into misogyny, it’s really hard to miss unless there’s some denial based on HG favorites. There is a way for them to consider the women voting for women concerns on a much more objective level. They are bleeding their bro mentality out all over the place.

The way Devens has trashed Mel is akin to that dad shitting on his son’s love interest while having seen how poorly his son treated her and betrayed her, yet of course his son’s heart was in the right place and she’s just an unsupportive floozy who doesn’t deserve better. Only the valuable and respectable women of his criteria go into that category he has for his wife. He’s really digging into that hard core now and even Drew looks uneasy about it.

un autre nom

The tone that he has used for each of the younger women in the house is entirely questionable.
Mallory, then Melody, Taylor, then Lyric, then Mallory again, then Taylor again, then Melody once more….
he was fine with Lyric as long as she was babyvoice and flirt with him. That changed when Rome left.
Again, men with comparable games and comparable comp records were given more of a pass by Devens.
If anyone in the house ever wanted a safe space to bash another house guest… they always found that ear and validation from Devens. NOT just regarding women but every other ism we saw. It’s as if everyone KNEW it’s totally cool to say just about any bias talk around Devens. Wonder why.
Am I saying he is prejudiced? No, not necessarily. I’m saying from his throne of privilege he CAN play along with just about any ism and express just about any view without anyone calling him to the carpet to explain himself. That’s how privilege works.

bb4eva

Misogyny was rampant this season.

Ryan

I guess the only one I’d like to win now is Devens. Probably takes Drew or him winning the veto for that to happen. Pretty sure Dee would flip on him if she won the veto. I guess Taylor probably votes out Drew tho. Devens would be smart to flip on Dee before she does on him. It’s kind of her track record, Drew probably doesn’t have the jury votes, and Taylor probably easier competition in final HOH. Hard to see Devens flip if he wins tho but it would be his best move.

bon Hurley

Taylor has more respect for Devens game than for Drew or Dee. Plus he told Taylor he’d keep her safe. Taylor may blame Drew for Yash leaving.

The Beef

If Dee wins Veto she evicts Devens. She knows Devens stands between her and $750k, so that’s what she’ll do.

If Drew wins Veto he evicts Dee. He’s in bad shape against both Dee and Devens, but he seems to think he has a shot to win against Devens (I don’t).

If Devens wins Veto he evicts Dee. He’ll be apologizing profusely when he does it, trying to preserve her jury vote, but he does it for the same reason Dee would evict him – $750k. Dee will understand, and won’t be mad, because she’s a gamer, and will vote for Devens to win, if he makes F2.

That’s my opinion.

un autre nom

Alliances each of the final four have been in (to my knowledge)

Taylor: Final 2 La Trice. Honor Society (broken when Taylor refused membership to Haley, and Angela and Dee got miffed). Primaries or Bermuda Triangle which is essentiallyTethers Alliance priamarily with Devens and Kamu (nobody else considered real). Ceasefire 1 (5 newbs she considered fake) Ceasfire 2 ( 4 newbs no Drew). Culture. Final 2 with Yash. Ceasfire 3 (4 newbs).
Drew: Crossovers. Toolshed. Final 2 Melody. Double date (don’t remember actual name 4 person with Rome/Lyric/Melody). 3 Jokers (with Jason/Melody). Jugglers later called Middle Men (final 2 Barrett). Middle Men 1 final 2 with Kamu. Dapper Dans. FAP. Moshpit. Final 2 with Devens. Ceasefire 1. Ceasefire 3. (note, Drew sabotaged every single one except the final 2 with Devens and Crossovers arguably, he brought the concept of turning on them to Barrett, convinced B, then flipped back to loyalty once he got the fan vote for saying he was turning on the stuntcasts).
Dee: Final 2 Devens. Red Corner. Final 2 Angela. Crossovers. Toolshed. Understanding with Jason. Honor Society. Wolf Pack. Final 3 with Haley and Angela. Turned down membership in Tethers. Moshpit. Culture. There may have been a final 2 with Kamu… not sure.
Devens: Final 2 Dee. Red Corner. Crossovers. not alliance but ‘understanding’ with Rome. Toolshed. Dapper Dans. Wolf Pack. Primaries / Bermuda Triangle. Moshpit. Final 2 Drew. Culture. There may have been a final 2 with Kamu… i am having trouble remembering.

If I have missed anything…. sorry.

un autre nom

I forgot that Dee made a final 3 with Barrett and Drew at the end of week one. It occurred to me a couple hours after i wrote them all down. my bad. At the same time Drew was already trying to formalize a final 3 with Devens and Barrett. It became closer to formalized many weeks later, but never actually became a formal agreement as far as I saw.

bb4eva

As much as you contribute to this site & as much as you give of yourself & your time to help the rest of us stay clued in to all the season’s goings on, you don’t ever need to tell the rest of us: “sorry”!

SpecialED

this has been one of the worst seasons. it feels both Dee and Devens have had no real threats even when nominated, they should have been targeted back when the game still had Kamu/Chuck/Haley.
that Taylor is still in the house is insulting, she has coasted without being a threat whatsoever.
