7:45pm HOH room – HOH bathroom – Dee, Haley and Angela
Dee – Its interesting that Yash would evict Taylor over Mallory. I guess that makes me feel even more of a reason to get rid of Mallory because that means that Mallory and Yash together is so bad to have in this game. Because they are really good competitors. Haley – wait hold on I did say one other thing I just hope and because I don’t want this to backdoor me .. or to backfire me I just said I just pray that Mallory wins then. If this is the case, I hope she wins. However I do want all my words to be out on the table with him because how was I supposed to navigate that conversation. Angela – I know, we have to tell people what they want to hear in a way just to get the conversations. Haley – Ok, I needed to make sure you guys knew my cards. Dee – I genuinely thought that Yash would vote to evict Mallory over Taylor based on my perception of how close they are but if now Yash is voting to evict Taylor over Mallory. That not only tells me, because they’re both f**king phenomenal competitors.. even more of a reason to get rid of Mallory. Because he’s gonna .. one of them is going to win. They’re not going to put the other up. Angela – do we have the votes without him? Haley – Haley, Angela, Devens.. Dee – Lala. Haley – Lala. Dee – and I break the tie. That’s fine. We have the votes. Angela – If its Drew and Mallory. Dee – still have the votes to keep Drew. We have four minimum. That’s all we need. No we have way more.. Haley – if its Drew and Mallory, I don’t think we would have the votes. Dee – what do you mean? Haley – its only Haley, Angela and Devens. Drew is gone. Lala is NOT keeping Drew. And Yash does not want to keep Drew. Dee – Barrett. Haley – Barrett would keep Mallory. Dee – you think? Haley – He would if he is fighting this hard.
Angela – Taylor feels really upset. She feels like she doesn’t know what’s going on in the house. I told her you just need to relax. This isn’t about you this week. This is 3 people fighting for their lives right now. You need to remove yourself from it a little bit. Haley – but that’s the same narrative that she always gets told. Angela – I know, I didn’t tell her stay in the kitchen like they tell her. Haley – Taylor keeps trying to get alone time with me and I’m like my stomach hurts, Sorry. Angela – So she hasn’t gotten pigeonholed anyway. She needs your vote to stay.
Dee – Right, how the tables have turned right!? Angela – absolutely. Haley – and its taking everything in me not to pop off. I’m not going to but outside Haley.. Angela – I say no drama because it just would give anybody a reason to look at you. We’re going to keep it cool.
Dee – I trust that you guys have my back and genuinely whoever gets mad like it is what it is. You clearly know who I’m working with based on the people I put up. And I don’t care! And I needed to show you that and like I know that you also have my back. And Devens is riding with all of us so it is what it is. And whoever gets mad, gets mad. Haley – I don’t give a f**K I really don’t give a f**K.
Angela – I have a heart for Mallory but we will be friends outside of this .. all of us.
Dee – we all will be.
Bedroom – Angela and Drew
Angela – I am just telling you, you are my priority. Drew – Well thank you. You’re my BB-Mom. You are my priority as well. Angela – thank you. Drew – I really trust our people and I trust you a lot too. I feel like you’ve been pretty straight up with me and pretty much everyone else. You’re a pretty straight shooter in general.
8:55pm Lounge Room – Devens and Drew
Devens – That’s kind of flippy. Like what the hell Bro?! And that they turn on him, its going to be like what the hell dude. Drew – That’s what I told him. Devens – That doesn’t matter. Dee and Angela believe that but for Angela to say that, its like oh god! Drew – Angela told me, you’re my priority still. Devens – yeah and I believe that and Like now she’s got our wheels turning because he’s doing this stuff. Drew – I know I am going to be so upset if I walk out the door. Devens – I am going to be pissed. Drew – I am going to kind of blame Barrett if I do. I don’t want them to think that I am f**King flipping. Devens – No, and I don’t want them to think that he is flipping either. Drew – that’s what I told him too. Devens – But he (Barrett) is actively campaigning against the five if the five decides to do that. Like that is kind of flipping. What the hell bro! Well I don’t think he looks at it that way and I don’t want him to look at it that way. Drew – I still feel like I am good and I still feel like he would keep me over her. But I don’t want them to hate Barrett. Devens – So what happens next week? Are we ok to vote her (Mallory) out next week? I have no reason to believe that we would be. And the week after that.. and the week after that. Drew – and part of me is like, I love Mallory and she is great for me but like lets rip the bandaid. Devens – No, he’s got me more worried now more than ever. Drew – yeah. Should we talk to him and be like chill bro! Devens – I don’t even know what to say. I’m frustrated. Drew – I told him, Barrett don’t f**k me. Don’t f**k me. Devens – and its like.. Drew – He’s f**king me! Devens – that’s exactly right.

9:25pm The havenots are no longer havenots for the week.. Big Brother brought them all food (Half way point dinner?)

9:55pm HOH room – Barrett, Dee, Drew, Angela and Devens.
Drew – all I want to say is I am really sorry if Mallory goes this week and I can’t and I can’t vote to keep her. Barrett – I understand. And I’m also sad. Barrett – I know you are, buddy. No, it’s OK. Drew – but just know that like dude, I’m keeping you no matter if you’re next to melody. Like don’t stress but it’s just like I just think this is what we have to do. Barrett – Yeah. Drew – you know what I mean? I know this sucks, bro, and it’s just like, dude, I just feel like we can’t keep her, you know what I mean? If she wins, I’m ecstatic. You know what I mean? but it’s just like, I don’t want to stress Hayley. I need her vote if it does, if Taylor wins, you know. And I don’t want her to view us as like the 4 that’s gonna run the game and like, I’m gonna get Drew out instead. And I don’t want to go home on Dee’s HOH. Because that would be so stupid if a crossover member went on home and a crossover member on HOH. So like it’s, I am going to vote Mallory out like, I have to. Barrett – That’s fine. Drew – As much as I dislike Taylor, don’t want Taylor here. I can’t even sit in a room with her. Barrett – Yeah. Drew – I hate when she screams. Angela – Nobody does.
Drew – you are keeping her. Barrett – Yeah. Drew – But I don’t want Haley to be freaking out that, like you mean Melody and Mallory are going to try to like flip the vote and like Haley we need to do. You know what I mean?

Barrett – Is that what it’s seen as? Drew – I think a little bit. Barrett – OK. Drew – and I don’t want her to dislike you. Trying to flip anything or she is like a little weary that you may like. Devens – And it puts him in a, you know, I may flip. Barrett – What? Like what? Devens – To
the other side of the house? Drew – Yeah. Barrett – By keeping Mallory, where does she think I am right now? Though? I guess is my question um, she thinks that? Drew – well, you’re campaigning to keep Mallory, that’s what she said.
Barrett – I hope you know what I am trying to do for Mallory. I would do it 10 times, you know, for all of you. Angela – Like, seriously, I have no doubt about that. Dee – Yeah. Devens – It’s just, scary cuz he’s on the block. Barrett – Yeah. Devens – you know. Drew – And I’m not mad at you because like I’m telling you, when it’s Melody’s turn, I’m probably do the same thing. And like you guys have to talk me off. Like I want you guys to bring me in this room and slap me. And it’s just like, ’cause that’s just what it is. We all dhave to do each other’s dirty work. And I’m telling you, dude, the
best time for her to go home. It’s not when you’re HOH,
Devens – like there there’s I my alliance in Survivor 50, there was never a pathway. It’s like Emily and Christian and I could not have been more loyal to each other and there was just never a path to the end that was real. And this group, like I feel the exact same way about I think we absolutely are locked in and there is like such a pathway if we stick to it and it’s like someone might win HOH, I might go, you know, like but this group, this group should be taking it to the end. Whatever’s left of it when we have our battles and we have our fights with the outsiders, like this is the group.
Devens – Like someone in this room is going to win. Survivor (LOL)…Survivor 54 ..someone in this room is going to win Big Brother 28.
Devens – I truly believe that and everyone in this room is going to vote for that person.
They all agree if its a double eviction, put up Taylor & Lala. If one of them wins the veto they take Lala off and backdoor Yash or if he wins (blockbuster), then Taylor goes.
10:30pm Bathroom – Angela, Mallory and Melody.
Mallory – I could still stay if you vote to keep me. Angela – I know. I know. Mallory – I really need to stay. Angela – I know. I know. Mallory – Please keep me here. Angela hugs Mallory. Angela – I’ll keep you here ok. She tells Mallory that she would keep her over Taylor but can’t over Drew. Mallory – ok. I just have to get through tomorrow. Angela – you will. Angela leaves. Mallory tells Melody that Haley told her that she wants her to stay but that she is at the bottom of the alliance and she can’t vote against that.
Melody – What a house of f**king cowards and F**king pu$$ies bro! Its actually embarrassing.
Melody counts the votes: Me, Drew, Barrett, Yash and Angela.
Mallory – Angela might but I don’t know if she’s telling the truth.
Melody – I am so F**king irritated bro with everybody!
10:55pm Bathroom – Barrett, Mallory and Melody
Mallory – I am going to tell Drew if I go and I find out you voted me out I will not be your friend after this. I know you tried really hard. Barrett – I appreciate that. Mallory – I’ll be your friend Barrett and I’ll be your friend Melody. Barrett – That’s actually really good news. Mallory – if Drew wins, I’m going to say thanks for crucifying me. If Drew wins, I’m going to say at least cry when you cast your vote.

What these trogs forget about the cookout strategy:
Keep your partner until JURY.
It was axe the flotsam pre-jury and then trick the jetsam out the door.
Hi Drew. Maybe analyze a strategy instead of conveniently repeating the alliance name 20 times in one day.
So the Gerbil has inserted a spine? ohhhh. Will the graft hold? Too late to back out now but…
Something that made me howl: LaTrice calling that veto a tough physical comp.
it was five minutes of competition. 2 minutes row. 90 seconds hip shake. 90 seconds tongue dance. That was not a tough comp. by the way. The tongue hack might have been to put the tongue on top of the bulb not swtiching side to side. would probably be quicker. The row? put your weight on your heels with your toes up. the shake… Barret’s method of keeping legs wide set.
Last i looked… Devens was pissy, Drew was paranoid and Dee was starting to feel panic.
They want to browbeat Barrett into chilling out. Characterize how that Crossover meeting works otherwise.
I hope Drew wins and I hope Mallory goes home. Shes the worst and thats saying alot with this group of people in the house.
Mallory for the Blockbuster win! Go get it girl!
Building a Shrine for this. go pipe queen
Why is Barrett giving Drew the heave ho?
It’s simpler than looking out for Mallory. He was ready and willing to vote her out last time.
So what is it?
Here is my list of possibilities:
a. Devens soft launch talk. instead of it being crossovers and a pair, it was icons and a foursome. it’s an indicator that the end of the road with the icons is coming because Devens does not consider him part of the actual team.
b. the last to know. The rest of the crossovers in the gym talking to Barrett TOLD him they’d already discussed it before bringing it to him, Drew included. That takes Barrett out of being number 4 and puts him at number 5.
c. Drew is saying he will vote out Mallory and wants them to take out Melody. This is cutting Barrett’s secondary pathway.
d. Barrett has played with the Icons long enough to know the ‘oh that wasn’t the plan but then people said’ story. That’s the story they give the ones they blindside, not the story they give an ally. The minute they othered him, with Drew being part of it? Buhbye.
e. MOST IMPORTANT: Drew knows too much. They discussed turning on the vets. A LOT. At different points in the week. Drew started vacillating What that means: a rat that doesn’t edit knows Barrett talked about backstabbing. In a logical universe that means the rat gotta go.
f. Remember when Devens gave Barrett the scorched earth nuclear option talk last week? He put all responsibility for the vote on Drew and Barrett and threatened their games if he didn’t get his way. Shouldn’t have taught them that trick.
RISK: someone he backstabs winning HOH. Just about everyone will sell him out for their own safety. Note. They aren’t locking in an alliance.
Chances this flip works? i’m not above 55%. sorry. LaTrice, Mallory both being… them in a flip situation? mm. mm. mmm. LaTrice tells Angela. Mallory spills to Drew. these are possibilities. Drew wins bbbb… another possibility. These factors lower the viability and percentage.
I’m still higher than 50 that Mallory leaves.
Where the vote currently stands:
Drew v Taylor 5-3 Drew evicted
Drew v Mallory 5-3 Drew evicted
Mallory v Taylor 4-4 Dee evicts Mallory.
Sounds like the last shot at any kind of power struggle is Taylor winning blockbuster and drew getting blindsided. Would barrett actually vote drew out? Dunno man. But if he did then 6 v 3 in the next hoh could be the best shot at gettin a vet on the block.
Lala was totally unbearable in last night’s episode. It was really hard to see her continue to lie even though she was exposed by everyone. Not only lie but act like a crying baby. Taylor was not much better, but episodes like that make this show so hard to watch sometimes. Mallory’s behavior should have been talked about more, but those two….OMG! Lala 50 year old baby.
There’s no difference between Mallory and Melody and a teenager getting their phones taken away for the weekend. Their actual ages don’t give them away because they often act much younger. And Drew crying just adds to it. At this rate, we’re going to have to move the legal age of adulthood to 25 or we’re doomed.
Why does Mallory need consoling simply because the game finally came for her? She can be plenty vicious behind closed doors, but the second she’s on the block everyone is supposed to treat her like a fragile little victim. Petulant children like most of her generation think they deserve something without even having to try for it. You heard me Gen Z. Welcome to adulthood.
Mallory – “I could still stay if you vote to keep me,” says the sad little girl.
What are you offering up Mallory? Yes, exactly, nothing. Not really playing the game of Big Brother are you.
After Angela leaves. From the most horrible, angry, toxic s**thead in the house, Melody – What a house of f**king cowards and F**king pu$$ies bro! Its actually embarrassing.
Any Melody fans out there? I question your reasoning. Can you imagine the abuse her cohorts get in real life when they don’t bow to her pressure. Any parents out there who grounded their children for a month? If anyone should be targeted in the house it should be her.
I’m really kind of confused with what direction FAP thought the game was going. Did they honestly think it that the ICONs were bringing them in….because they needed their help?! It doesn’t take a rocket scientist (or maybe it does, but she didn’t catch the hint) to figure out that the ICONs never needed the MoshPit. Those are weekly alliances meant to help propel the game forward, usually used by the stronger party to wrestle the weaker into submission for the purpose of vote gathering.
Angela, Devens, and now Haley, are all available to win HoH next week. And Yash can’t nominate Angela, Devens or Dee. So now…..the ICONs will have Angela, Devens, Haley, and Yash all playing to protect Angela, Devens, Haley, Yash and Dee’s interest, against…..Melody, Barrett, Lala, and potentially Drew, Mallory and Taylor.
Statistically, the ICONs have the significantly better team, with the exception of Lala who has surprising won some great comps.
My money is on the ICONs plus Yash/Haley.
I hope Barrett pulls off the blindside. There is still time for Mallory and Melody to screw it up. If Mallory wins blockbuster, they both might vote to keep Drew over Taylor.
While i pour my coffee in the morning I have some weird thoughts.
Today’s weird thought:
Pouring morning coffee thoughtscape:
If he were inclined, could Barrett backstab the xovers by voting out Drew and stay in their good graces?
There is a possibility. It wouldn’t involve lying technically.
Let’s say Devens or Angela or Haley won HOH.
What is a Gerbil to do?
Blame Drew.
Go with me before saying this is nuts. Barrett could reveal the turn against the Stunts talks but frame them as Drew led.
Barrett was getting rid of Drew because he wanted to kill the xovers alliance, and so he took it on himself to prove he was xover strong by killing FAP AND evicting the turncoat.
His reason for being so upset becomes he knew Drew was snowing them and he couldn’t say anything because they would rather hear Drew suck up to them than confirmation that Drew was backstabbing them.
Dee would eat that up. Angela would say i knew it. Devens? not sure.
ANYWAY. That’s the thought process for ‘could Barrett still play the middle’ after being the one to lead the first strike?
Drinking morning coffee thoughtscape:
oh. I missed something yester. I think Yash has revealed he made a deal with the stunts… but not to everyone.
What does the deal mean in terms of game longevity?
Say Dee is evicted. The deal is with DEE. does protection of the other 2 die once Dee is gone?
OR
Does Yash still have to keep Devens and Angela off the block if he wins HOH?
The importance of this question:
Say Yash wins the final 3 HOH. Say one of the stuntcasts is also in the final 3. IF the deal still stands does Grod force him to take the stunt to final 2?
I never thought of that. I bet Dee goes Yash wins HOH if he wants those stunts gone he’ll take them out.
Interesting play you’ve outlined for Barrett I wonder if he’s capable of pulling it off I think he can maybe partially. He’s slow and calm enough for it.
Everyone wanting to play middle this season is ridiculous given house layout.
IF Drew or Melody goes:
The house is ‘technically’
2 trios and a 4 or a duo a trio and a 5 depending on perspective.
there is no middle.
the ‘other side’ has not locked in an alliance, they have an understanding. This is another one week voting block situation.
RUMOR:
there is online chatter (don’t know source).
The Rumor has it that the twist is “America’s HOH”
If anyone remembers bbcan 2….
Canada’s HOH took the steamroll out of the hands of the dominant alliance and nominated 2 of it’s members. It completely shifted the dynamic because the other houseguests had no clue they had imbedded spies, and had no real strategy on how to combat the dominant alliance.
Difference: no stuntcasts with a pre-eminent fanbase in bbcan 2.
ANY fanvote situation is still going to favor and protect 2 of the stuntcasts in this situation.
IF that were true (we vote for noms) then we also have to look at the edit for the last 2 episodes. Welcome to Devens is the mastermind edit. Welcome to the we know nothing about mob mentality led by the stuntcasts edit. Welcome to LaLa and Taylor are tempermental hypocrites edit. Welcome to Haley does not exist edit. Welcome to Melody and Mallory are cussing out in d/r edit. Welcome to Drew is declaring the dominant alliance dead edit. Draw your own conclusions what the episode only viewer does with that.
BBCAN2 was a great season one of my favorite. Jon Pardy holds the record for alcohol consumed in one day on a BB feeds a 26 and a mickey. Remember when they actually gave him a 26 of vodka for his HOH basket! damn BBCAN 1-3 was gold.
Big Brother Canada 2 — Canada’s HoH
During Big Brother Canada 2, Canada became Head of Household following Ika’s eviction. Viewers voted to determine the nominations, and Andrew and Sabrina were placed on the block.
Canada’s HoH results:
• Original nominees: Andrew and Sabrina
• Power of Veto winner: Jon
• Veto used: No
• Replacement nominee: None
• Final nominees: Andrew and Sabrina
• Evicted: Andrew
• Vote: 7–2 to evict Andrew
The Canada’s HoH twist was revealed after Ika’s eviction on March 27, 2014. Canada’s nominations aired on March 30, and Andrew was evicted on April 3, 2014.
The twist became a major turning point in the season because putting Andrew and Sabrina on the block disrupted the power structure that had controlled much of the early game.
OnlineBigBrother covered the Canada’s HoH result at the time: Canada’s HoH Results — Big Brother Canada 2
One detail worth treating cautiously: contemporary OBB coverage discussed Kenny as the likely next nominee based partly on OBB’s own polling, so I would not state as confirmed that Kenny officially received the third-highest total in Canada’s vote.
My first season after finding my way here. I think. But i was an anonymous user most of the time then when there was the option to post anonymously.
One of my biggest gripes about bbcan was the way the episode edit would falsely manufacture a narrative by completely hiding what happened on feeds in order to manipulate the results of voting twists (and then use the backdoor method of removing votes during or after the voting period as stated in the rules of the vote… in order to get the outcome they wanted).
Simon/Dawg – what’s with all these new ads on the site the last day or so? They’re cutting into everyone’s comments on my PC. Any way to fix this?
Thanks for telling me. I have turned on the auto ads feature so google puts them where they want. It’s tricky to filter the comments. I’ll see if there is any levers I can pull on the google dashboard.
Those are weekly power-at-large alliances meant to help propel the game forward, usually used by a
