7:41pm – 8:42pm The Big Brother 28 Live Feeds were blocked for the nomination ceremony. As Head Of Household Taylor nominated: DREW & DEE
(The above nominations were what Taylor planned to do prior to the nomination ceremony. They’re not officially confirmed but highly likely based on what Taylory planned and comments when the feeds returned.)
How the Final 4 Veto Works:
- All Play: All four remaining houseguests—the Head of Household (HOH), the two nominees, and the non-nominee—compete in the final Power of Veto competition.
- If a Nominee Wins: If one of the two people on the block wins the veto, they remove themselves. The HOH must then name the single remaining non-safe player as the replacement nominee. The veto winner is safe and holds the sole vote to decide which of the other two houseguests goes to jury.
- If the Non-Nominee Wins: If the person who is not on the block (and not the HOH) wins the veto, they typically choose not to use it, leaving the original nominations the same. That veto winner still holds the sole vote to evict one of the two nominees.
- If the HOH Wins: If the HOH wins the veto, nominations stay the same or they can choose to shake them up, but because they cannot vote as HOH, they instead choose which of the eligible houseguests gets the sole power to cast the eviction vote.
- The Sole Vote: There is no traditional group eviction vote by the house. The person holding the power after the veto ceremony makes the final decision on who becomes the last member of the jury.

8:43pm – 9:25pm Kitchen – Drew and Dee
Drew – are you cooking it with love? Dee – yeah. Drew – Why does it look like hate? Dee – No dude. No, no, no I’m doing it with love. I’m doing it with the same love that Taylor does it with just not as much. Final Four Dinner. See we can survive. Don’t worry I’ll cook for you, if you keep me.
Devens in the havenot room making his bed.. He then joins Dee and Drew in the kitchen. Devens – We did a lot today.. Nomination Ceremony, Eviction, HOH and Nominations. Drew – I feel like the next couple days is just going to be us three hanging out and like her (Taylor) up in there listening to music. Devens – yeah I think its possible. Drew – we’re definitely going to have a host for the veto. Devens – Maybe. Drew – Unless you want to do like double shift it.. like I’ll host and I’ll play. Devens – Ok! Drew – your stress levels in here are they more or less than Survivor? Dee – Paranoia is higher on Survivor because you’re always up for grabs and just not eating and its just so much more fast paced.
They talk about Melody. Devens – Every time I was around Melody she was either angry or crying She was never having a good time.. rarely. Drew – I agree.
9:35pm Kitchen – Drew and Devens
Devens – The more I think about it, the more it legitimately seems like a good idea to win the veto tomorrow. Drew – I’ve been saying this all season. That my strategy’s been if you win HOH, or veto or both every week, they literally can’t vote you out. Devens – That’s true. Drew – And if you win the blockbuster on top of that.. Devens – thanks for sharing that with me. Drew – but keep that one to yourself.
9:50pm – 10:23pm Havenot Room – Drew and Devens
Devens asks Drew if he and Melody ever kissed. Drew – No. Devens – Not once? Drew – No, not once. Devens – Not even a peck? Drew – Dude, we never kissed. Devens – not once? Drew – dude I swear. Devens – Did you ever try to kiss her? Did you ever say why won’t you kiss me? Drew – no but the last day she was like its weird like everything thinks we’ve kissed. And I was like yeah. She’s like that’s funny right? Because we haven’t.. And I was like well I’m going to go to the other room now. Devens – You guys are so weird. You guys are so funny. Drew – because we’re friends. Devens – A showmance would not have put any bigger of a target on you guys because I would have thought you were in a showmance.. but it still would have been a distraction. If I had seen you kissing I guess I would have been like wow.. even more so.. Drew – yeah.
Drew and Devens talk jury votes and who they think they might have. Devens comments on how he doesn’t know how Dee would vote because he hasn’t seen how she would react if she was screwed over by a friend so he doesn’t know if he would have her vote or not. Devens comments on how he and Drew should make it a final 2 father / son thing.
They comment on how they made it to the last nomination ceremony and the last veto. Devens – We’ve come a long way.
10:43pm Devens has headed to bed. Taylor is in the diary room. Dee is listening to the HOH music and Drew is showering..

I would like to see Drew in final 2 just because I’m curious how he would explain his game to the jury.

You don’t say lol. No worries productions got it handled. It’s what they do.
The final nail on this season’s coffin is realizing that no matter how much feeders try to analyze what the HGs are saying to each other before this veto, who might be lying to whom and what is the best choice of eviction for each Crossover, that it’s all pointless and I must stop investing any more into this.
Crossover cam talks have also at times been lies this season.
All of this talk between Crossovers is most likely for show narrative and episode, as Dee and Devens were prompted from before the start of this season. They also know what makes them into more interesting characters with a more compelling narrative, to get more of a fan base.
It seems very unlikely that either of them will cut each other at this point now. It’s F2 for 2 Survivors. Only wrench is if Drew wins F4 veto and F2 HOH. Even he is probably going to take Devens, not Tay. Or if Tay wins Final HOH. But in terms of Dee and Devens, I don’t think they are cutting each other.
Just so we can dispense with the maybe of it all.
Was Melody correct not to trust Yash and Taylor when they pushed for a Drew renom during the double?
Yes.
Taylor has said twice that she was going to flip her vote to evict Drew that night. SO we were ALWAYS going to keep BOTH survivors. Taylor was going to be just as much of a moron for the second week in a row as Drew was in their eviction vote during the double.
She has openly stated she wants Drew evicted at 4. More than once since winning Final 4 HOH.
So Taylor wants to go to final 3 with the 2 stuntcasts because she wants each of them to choose her for final 2.
Problem:
Jury argument negation. If there are only 2 newbs left and you choose to target the other newb, you cannot go to the jury and then argue that the stuntcasts done already had theirs when you had the opportunity to make the finalists two newbs but chose to target the other one. Oh you can try the argument…. but you’ll be laughed at as the hypocrite you are.
THIS is the same argument Drew would face if he had won final 4 HOH and targeted Taylor (although i’m 90 he would have targeted Dee from his lay up convos with Melody about taking Taylor if Melody was gone, and his lay up convos with camera).
Targets are irrelevant in nominations at final 4… I do get that. Really. But when claiming what you did with power to a jury that is all about what comps you won and what you did when you had power, intention matters. LaTrice, Angela, Barrett, Yash and Melody have allll had moments on feeds (and for La and Ang also during the heavily scripted jury visit… yeah those clips are very production notes supervised get real) where they talked about what they want from a winner.
Can social game be claimed to this jury? Only so far as saying what alliance you were in that kept you from being evicted when on the block on eviction night. The miasmic alliance charting makes it idiotic to attempt to claim alliancing as social game in any other sense, because the ego of the jurors will not allow for the ‘in multiple alliances at the same time’ argument as social game. It just won’t. While nobody on jury this season can claim true loyalty (except possibly Melody from the jurors and even then it’s 50/50), every single one of them sure pontificates about being loyal to your alliance like they didn’t double dip and squirrel.
The “won when they had to argument” is also a slippery slope. If someone has been in the final 2 nominee chairs on eviction night they didn’t win when they had to… they were just considered a lesser threat than the other nominee for eviction. Drew can make this argument far more effectively than Taylor can make this argument. Winning one veto and one HOH when nominated 5 or 6 times? Not as impressive an argument as never sitting in the final 2 nominee seats come eviction night when nominated due to either veto or block buster victories.
So. Who can effectively use the won when they needed to argument? Drew and Devens. They never sat in the final 2 nom seats. Taylor and Dee cannot say this.
I still contend the only way a survivor leaves is at the hand of the other survivor. It’s the story production has been feeding us as a will they won’t they since week 8. Again, read your edits. What prodo takes from the feeds and highlights in the episodic version tells us what they want us to view as important. The highly directed questioning and partially scripted d/r emphasize this.
From this point of view, it is highly unlikely Drew wins final veto… but hey, maybe the baby icon shit he’s been pushing as the gatekeeper to icon safety does have a higher payoff than we thought (Ithought).

I truly did not expect a Drew veto because the last 3 weeks there has been a concerted push in storyline for the will sufvivors stab survivors or will they stay loyal.
Color me surprised for the first time this season.

Worst season of Big Brother ever. I hope there is an anti-icon faction in the jury that will vote for Taylor no matter what. Lala, Barrett, Yash and Melody can determine the winner. Devens is a pompous ass, Dee is a cruel bully and Drew is their loyal lap dog rat.

Thai just shows that Devens deserves the win, but it won’t happen.

It’s meant to be a season long snapshot of what their part in the game was.

Against either survivor? I still think the number of times each of the newbs was nominated by a Survivor and STILL voted to keep them in the game and make alliances with them is something that will tarnish them to jury.
Barrett and Melody might be the most offended by such a notion.
Expect multiple waffles from Drew. Take out Daddy… or take out Dee. He’s going to pull his hair out. with the amount of time he spends playing with his godawful hair? not a stretch.

Possible case if Drew were in final 2.
Manipulated houseguests to get rid of Kamu. That whole week was him half truthing and then out right lying to different groups in the house to make sure Kamu left.
He is the reason Yash was out. for his game? That’s the best move for him at that time considering he thought he still had daddy and daddy would keep his promise.
He will take out a stuntcast at final 4

BUT
Is anyone willing to overlook HOW MUCH he was in the pocket of other players to SEE that in those three cases he did what was best for himself?

Devens COULD be pushing that final 2 he made with Drew 2 weeks ago. Show loyalty to the jury to show you weren’t a weasel the WHOLE game type talk.
Dee could be pushing every move Devens made makes him the automatic winner.
But their first thought is intimidation.

IF i were ever in a big brother environment and someone threatened jury votes…. by a vote of me against your bullshit you are evicted from the big brother house.
Just saying. This intimidate and threaten bullshit lowers my almost non existent respect level. Come on in stuntcasts… be given multiple advantages and production fixes and d/r chats to other houseguests about saving you for a good 6 weeks… and hey, every time things don’t go your way? be a bully.
