Melody has been evicted. The feeds went down for about three hours, and when they came back the week was over — the veto ceremony, the vote and the eviction had all happened behind the blackout. Four houseguests are left on Big Brother 28: Devens, Drew, Dee and Taylor.

What happened behind the blackout
Going into it, the week had a shape everybody could see. Drew held the veto and was expected to use it on himself, which would leave Devens to name a replacement beside Melody. Only two people would be able to vote — Drew and Dee — and Drew had already told Devens he would not be the one to send Melody home. That put the eviction one vote away from a tie, and a tie in the hands of the Head of Household.
Then the feeds cut. Three hours later they returned and Melody was gone.
We did not see the ceremony, the replacement nomination or the vote, so we are not going to describe them as though we did. What is certain is the outcome: Melody is out, four are left, and she joins Lala, Angela, Barrett and Yash in the jury house.
How the week got here
Thursday took two people out. Barrett and Yash both left in the same night, and Devens came out of it as Head of Household — a job he did not know was coming. “I didn’t even realize I had to nominate people. I thought I was off the hook.”
Friday, he put up Drew and Melody — and spent the afternoon being told no by both of the people he did not nominate. Dee got to him first and refused to volunteer. Drew came up to the HOH room and spent eleven minutes arguing, then tried to leave his mother’s letter and his jewelry behind as collateral.
Saturday morning, Dee promised the veto to both nominees inside twenty minutes. To Melody at 10:21: “Just know that I’m thinking, if I win this veto, to use it on you. But do not tell them.” To Drew at 10:38, when he asked her to swear it: “I swear. And I’m going to gun for it, too.”
She never had to keep either promise. Drew won the veto himself.
By Saturday midnight it was settled, and Melody was the only one who didn’t know. Drew sat with her in the pod room until she asked him not to leave, then went straight to the bathroom and spent fourteen minutes agreeing with Dee that she is the one going. “She still thinks it’s up in the air. She thinks that you like her more than Taylor. So she’s like, maybe she’ll save me.”
Fourteen minutes later Melody was back in the pod room with Taylor, working it out anyway.
She was right, and she worked it out two days before the house bothered to tell her.
The missing $10,000
Somebody pressed a button this week and took $10,000, and the house spent three days trying to work out who. Taylor and Melody were certain it was Drew. Drew says it wasn’t, and he and Dee both think it was Devens. Dee, on Sunday morning: “I think it’s Devens. I think it’s for sure Devens.”
Nobody has been told what the Pharaoh is either. Taylor’s theory was that it was only ever the reason this week ran so fast — which, given how it ended, has not aged badly.
Where the final four stands
Devens and Dee are the last two Icons, and they are now half the house. Drew and Taylor are what is left of a newbie group that started the merge six strong and spent the last three weeks nominating each other.
Drew has won the last two vetoes. Devens has the only Head of Household win of the four since the double. And with a jury of five already seated and a finale inside the week, the next competition is close to the whole game.

Our fellow NPC is finally evicted!
Melody spent more time screaming and bitching about her allies and other HGs than competing to win. However, lightning struck twice on DE night when she won back-to-back comps and took out Yash. She just couldn’t get the Final 5 Veto to extend her life in the game.
Next time don’t throw a balance beam HOH comp so you can make moves sooner than being scared of the icons and their blowback.
Come on. Nobody but maybe Yash in this house this season is “throwing” anything. If you believe that, I’ve got ocean front property for sale in Beech Island, SC.
Thank God this fiasco is almost over.
I know.. This was a bad season. In my rop 5 worst season. Not sure if it made it into my top 3 but for sure top 5.
This is nowhere near the Top 5 Worst seasons. BB27 is definitely one of the Top 5 Worst BB Seasons ever. This is my list of worst seasons:
1. BB21 — worst winner ever and half the HGs unlikeable
2. BB15 — half the HGs unlikeable
3. BB22 — dominant alliance unchallenged, simply a long coronation for Cody
4. BB19 — Friendship cult alliance, Cody having ZERO social game, wrong person won the season
5. BB27 — White Locust, Vince, Keanu, Bambi, Kelley, Zach, and Stalker Cowboy
Last year was brutally bad. Chelsie’s season was only slightly better, Jag’s wasn’t great but better than Chelsie’s. Definitely seems to be a visible downhill slide for sure the previous two seasons into this one.
I think this is far worse than both of Paul’s seasons for sure.
It was the worst season ever because the houseguests were the worst ever.

I want the person who played the best game to win, and that would be Devens or Drew. Dee rode the coat tails of Rick, and Drew did a lot of work between the Icons and newbies.
Taylor winning would be pathetic.
I wish I could hit the like button a thousand times for you! Taylor did nothing all season except sleep and complain.
Devens or Dee winning would be pathetic bc they were given strong advantages by production. Nothing is worse than that type of winner.
I can admit that Drew played a more well rounded game than Taylor, but I’ve always said that if you lose the vote bc you lost the respect of the jury, that’s your own game flaw. It’s different if a jury is bitter purely bc you burnt them and they mean to spite you.
Most of the losses by better players are due to the lack of respect towards a game. It’s like rooting for the ball player who is continuously on the fringe of cheating but manages to get away with it over and over.
Yeah I know Drew isn’t cheating. But he’s playing in a way that isn’t perceived as masterful by the jury. It looks like a silly impulsive boy making random hits or misses and then getting away with it by his goofy charm. Not smooth like Dr Wil. Just a child at play as he is IRL. It’s impossible to imagine Drew not having gotten under people’s skin since early childhood but always worming his way out of the worst of possible consequences.
Same with Vince last season. He made a lot of game errors, but overall he was active, he won comps, he played hard even with Morgan sidelining his game agency. No comparison to Ashley who won on extreme popularity esp on the Rachel ‘team’ vote.
Production created a pathetic season and pathetic end game. We’ll have a pathetic F2. Taylor is not pathetic but she is not deserving, just like Ashley was not. Yet, she is the only decent win result at this point.
Devens deserves to win. I would rather not have Dee win two reality TV comp shows. We’re gonna have to rely on Devens or Drew to win Veto and cast that vote to evict her.
When is the next HOH on the feeds
I’d like Devens to win. If not him then Drew.
This is the first season that I can recall that I really don’t care. I’m not fond of the remaining players, although I did like Devins on Survivor, just not here. I like Frankie over this cast!
Definitely Taylor. If Ashely could float it out, so can Tay Tay. Devens if he didn’t have that stupid ass rigged veto – Dee would have been long gone and Yash would have eliminated Devens quickly. Then Drew’s shenanigans would have been short lived as well.
So the curse was just an early vote for eviction ? Lol. Guarantee had Devins or dee been on the block it would have been some challenge for safety no matter of your on the block or not. But since both D and D were off the block prodo just said fuck it early eviction. Lmao at Dee and devins think they are some great BB players when production has given them so many advantages

Did LaTrice respect Melody’s game? She barely respected her at all.
How about Yash? Did he even respect her as a human? Not really.
How about Angela? Between the useless and borderline slut shame commentary… i really doubt it.
Only voice she had in jury was Barrett. After watching Barrett in the house for 2 months you think he was going to push? Even then his vote would be based on friendship not game. I don’t think even he would vote a Melody win. Even though the double strategy she employed was come up with between Melody and Barrett in discussion of likely winner and who to gun for if they got power again conversation.
Melody had no win potential.
Therefore Melody’s eviction is irrelevant.
All her eviction really does is cement the status quo… for the storyline as it has been shown to us since week one,
prodo gatekeeper Drew is still there to protect the interests of the stars / top tier expenses. The houseguests have supposedly made 17k at this point. The stuntcasts have made about 55 to 60 at this point. Think about it. they’ve made more than afp money.
Think about it. Just ponder to yourself, that if there are 2 cast members that you have to pay that much more money for the entire run of the series, as production are you not going to push for your money’s worth? Don’t but Angela. She was making almost 2x average stipend. The Survivors were making double that. Losing Angela earlier is a necessary expense once the die was cast for that week.
Let’s do a little math.
If. let’s say Dee wins. How much does Devens pocket. 10k plus stipend let’s call it 60k for argument… and his coveted afp prize (oh, you think our votes matter? okay… i say the edit has been pushing Devens afp since episode one UNLESS he is the winner). Oh… and the bonus added to the top 5. Don’t forget that. It’s scaled to placement. So add more of currently unknown value. Plus we have no clue what his negotiated signing bonus / pay for play was pre-season. mmhmm.
Let’s say Devens wins. 750 plus 10 plus. oy.
Now.
Let’s pretend there is a possible Drew win. who are his votes? The jury does not respect him. How does he jump that hurdle? Final q and a in finale does little to nothing this season. This season they decided the winner pecking order before each was evicted. Call it bitter if you want… or call it a failing in Drew’s social game that not a single juror respects the way he played the game enough to credit him.
Let’s pretend there is a Taylor win. who are her votes? This is not a social game is the biggest thing jury. It just isn’t. This is a comps and what you did with power jury. The pervasive perception of Taylor amongst over half of the jury is what? podgirl. Who give podgirl a win? ON THAT JURY?
