Quick Big Brother Spoilers Week 2
Head of Household: Rick Devens
Nominees: Lyric, ROME, Melody and Jason
POV Players: Angela, Barrett, Jason, Melody, Devens, Lyric
POV Winner: Devens
Veto Ceremony: Devens uses the Veto on Lyric and replaces her with ROME
Havenots: Lyric, Barrett, Rome, Kamu, Jason

Week 2 opened with the Survivor bloc tightening its grip. Devens took the HOH, making it two straight weeks the power stayed with the Crossovers — now merged with the Red Corner into the eight-person Toolshed. Before nominations, the first Time Capsule resolved: America voted Angela in, and she came out with a punishment rather than a power — the Egg Detective costume.
Devens nominated Jason, Lyric and Melody as pawns, with Rome the real target by backdoor. The nomination ceremony turned into a free-for-all of aired grievances, and Rome’s own hierarchy got exposed when it became clear Lyric and Jason were the two he wanted protected — which tipped him off that he was the target.
Rome wasn’t drawn to play in the Veto, and Devens won it himself in a puzzle competition — holding both halves of the week’s power. After days of debating whether to save Melody or Lyric, he pulled Lyric down and named Rome the replacement, against the read of most of his own alliance. Melody made it plain that if she survives and wins HOH, Devens is the first name on her block.
That left Rome, Melody and Jason heading into Thursday’s Blockbuster with roughly seven votes already locked against Rome. But the back half of the week was the majority worrying about itself: Drew and Barrett quietly cut a two-man final deal inside the Toolshed, Dee spent Wednesday threatening to blow up both their games if they swung to save Rome, Taylor started seeding the idea that Jason had the votes to survive a Jason-vs-Melody finish, and Rome’s guys-only last stand leaked before it ever happened. By Wednesday night Devens and Dee were in the HOH room planning to bluff a Time Capsule power they don’t have
Live Feeds Before the show started

10:28 am Drew and Melody
Drew walks her through the wind-tube ball comp.
Drew: “The best way to do it is — the air is coming from the bottom. So the balls are coming up. Drop your whole body all over the air.”
Melody: “Like, deadass like this?”
Drew: “No, deadass like this. The more you can cover, the less air is going through.”
Melody: “Literally get on the floor.”
Drew: “Yes, because then there will be less air coming up and the balls won’t be moving as much or as fast.”
Melody: “Because you just cover all that air.”
Drew: “I didn’t want to tell you in front of everybody, because I don’t give a f*** about what they do. I’m pretty sure that’s the way to do it — you cover all the air that’s pushing through, because then there’s less air and they’re all going to go to one side of the corner. Or you also wear a baggy shirt and do this and have them all fly in.”
Melody: “So they drop the balls and then there’s no more balls. So you just have to figure the f*** out.”
Drew: “Yeah. If you cover the air, then the balls can’t move as much. Or at least they’re enclosed in one side of it. So that’s how you do it. Don’t tell anybody.”
Drew: “If it’s that one. It literally might not even be that one.”
On the other format they’re expecting.
Melody: “I’m wondering, what else was the other one? Like the spot-the-difference room thing? So you go in one room, and it’s literally a room.”
Drew: “They’re both just identical rooms, and they need to see how many differences there are.”
Melody: “And when you guess, you just guess a number. Like, you guess seven. It’s not multiple choice.”
Drew: “Just whoever’s closer.”
Melody: “That one doesn’t make me that worried.”
Drew: “You have to be quick. Because you know that Jason and Rome are going to be running. And Rome’s going to be trying to do a little contact.”
Melody: “He better not, because I’m going to fing shoulder check the f out of him if he does that. Listen, just win the f***ing game.”
Melody: “Mallory — did you see? She made me toast this morning. She brought it to me. She’s like, I made this for you. And she wrote ‘good luck’ in the peanut butter. She’s so cute.”
Drew: “How’d she even do that?”
Melody: “With a knife. I don’t know, but it was so sweet.”

1:25 pm Deven and Drew
Devens pulls his family photos out of the frames to take with him.
Devens: “I’m going to hang them up in my locker, high school style.”
Devens: “Thanks, BB. It’s been real.”
Devens: “That’s my understanding — you can’t keep the frames, but you can keep the pics.”
Drew: “Oh, that’s awesome.”
On where he’s sleeping next.
Devens: “I feel like it’s good for us to have a rep in the pod room. It’s good to spread out a little bit.”
Drew: “Yeah, I think he would be the only one in there. But obviously, she might be a Have-Not next week.”

1:40pm Bros getting ready

1:42 pm Mallory, Melody and Lyric
Mallory: “I’m scared. If it’s Jason versus Rome, vote out Rome. And if it’s anyone versus Melody, keep Melody.” She traces where it came from: “I talked to Kamu, and that’s what we’ve been thinking.” Then: “So Rome has to win.”
Lyric: “Yeah… maybe he’ll win it. I got you. I’ll be okay.”
Mallory brings up Angela’s season — a player whose showmance went out early and who still made it to the end.
Lyric: “He actually got evicted week one.”
Lyric: “I don’t even know why people have said something against showmance. It’s not even a showmance. It’s just because Rome wanted to protect me, I got associated with it. Because Rome was a target.”
Mallory: “Devens thought this all out.”
Lyric: “Sick and twisted, huh?”
Mallory: “That’s why he’s got to go. Devens.”
Lyric: “I know. Plain and simple.”
Mallory: “I’m giving him a thumbs down.”
Melody joins.
Lyric: “How are you feeling?”
Melody: “I’m feeling still nervous, of course. It’s one of those things where I feel like no matter what, I’m going to stay. Which is really nice.”
Lyric: “You know we will tell you if you’re in danger.”
Melody: “Yeah, I know. And everyone I’ve talked to — if something else happened, I’d be like, you’re fing joking. I’m walking out and not saying bye to fing anybody.”
Melody: “It’s just more that I really want to win the Blockbuster. Obviously the safety is number one. But really just to be like, I can fing beat these guys. I’ve been in so many competitions. If you’ve been in every fing competition and you haven’t won one, it’s annoying. I want a win. I don’t like to lose. That’s why I came on this show — I like to win.”
Melody: “It’ll be cool too to just see who does win. Because I know I want to go in there and I really want to f***ing win, and I know Rome does and I know Jason does too.”
Melody: “I’ve been thinking about my strategy. If it is the ball one, I think I’ll just literally stance up over it like this. And kind of just start grabbing as many balls as I can. Maybe use my shirt — but it’s so hard when you’re a girl, because what is that really f***ing covering? My shirt’s like this big.”
Lyric: “I think everybody has an equal chance with Blockbuster. They have to make it so that everyone has an equal chance. They can’t make it more, like, physically.”
Melody: “It’s kind of the whole point of the Blockbuster too. Keep people on their toes. Anything can happen.”
Lyric: “Like that one that Yash won didn’t seem like anyone had an advantage.”
Lyric: “It’s such a shit position to be in, though, because one of our people are leaving.”
Melody: “Yeah, no matter what, someone’s leaving. That’s on our side. So we literally need to win HOH. It’s not funny. It’s imperative.”
Melody: “I know you’re on slop, but make sure you eat. Fuel, drink tea, coffee, whatever it is you need to do — because I have a feeling it’s going to be endurance. I don’t know for sure, but they did wake us up later. What Haley was saying was that she thinks it’s going to be a long competition since they let us sleep more. And we haven’t done that yet. There’s a decent amount of us — I feel like they do a lot of endurance ones when there’s still a decent amount of people.”
Mallory: “It might be for people that drop out, or Have-Nots.”
Melody: “If I get it again, I’m going to cry.”
Mallory: “I have a feeling I’m going to win. I’m manifesting it. Or at least one of us will. We can’t be in the buttf*** position again. I’m done getting buttfed.”
Mallory: “I want to just have a week where we can just fing chill out.”
Mallory: “We have a decent chance, like, if it’s us three.”
Lyric: “And whoever stays.”
Where it stands. Both sides spent the day prepping for the same two things — a Blockbuster they think is the wind-tube ball comp, and an endurance HOH they’ve reverse-engineered from being allowed to sleep in. The trio has its vote priorities locked through Kamu: Melody survives any pairing, and Rome goes if it’s Rome against Jason, which means Rome has to win to stay. Lyric’s moved past the week — she’s stopped defending the showmance and named Devens as the one who has to go. And Devens is packing up the HOH room and heading for the pod room, spreading the Tool Shed out.

2:01 pm Kemu and Drew
The three work out when to tell Taylor that Jason doesn’t have the votes.
Barrett: “Do we tell Taylor right before the vote? That’s not going to work. I don’t want to leave her in the dark.”
Kamu: “In the moment. Sit next to her.”
Drew: “Right after the Blockbuster, when everyone is hugging.”
Drew: “Bro, I love this game. I would play this again and again.”
Kamu: “I would go on Survivor if they let me.”
Kamu: “That’s how I felt during the blow-up. I looked over at D and I was like, this is awesome… It never ends.”
Drew points upstairs, at the HOH room.
Drew: “We need to get that.”
Drew: “Alliance are gonna throw it, and it’s gonna f*** everything up.”
Kamu: “I don’t think so, dude.”

Blockbuster comp
the stacking puzzle from last season. Keanu won it. 4 stacks of 3.
red green white and gold stacks. pieces cannot touch ground.
each post can hold 4 for rearranging.
Reminder of Puzzle record so far:
Jason: second in puzzle veto.
Melody: 0é2 in puzzle vetoes. yes the pipe puzzle i consider a puzzle comp.
Rome: won safety in a stacking puzzle.
I may be out of it here, but aren’t Trashela, De & D doing the same exact thing that Rome did in making an alliance? Why is everyone so pissed about it? THEY ARE DOING THE SAME DAMN THING! (Minus the showmance!) Lol
Also, is anyone else over this time machine table farce?? insert eye roll here…
The time machine table is contrived and ridiculous, it got old very fast, it’s dumb and idiotic. Why does production treat the viewers like children for f**k sake.
WOW, He KILLED IT!
Later Rome, watch your girl on TV only now.
Watching Chuk move in
Chuk, Yash, and Kamu. She’s got all three of them. She better be careful with Kamu though. Haley might stomp her out.
Rome integrated well in the first week, but his fatal error was sharing his whole game with Devens. Had Angela not been there to fan the flames, he probably wouldn’t have touched the block at all. The “Lyme” showmance is over, but we may see the pickleball coach again on “The Challenge”.
Our “Messy Bitch” Jason lives!!
My Top 3 targets going into Week 2 are Yash, Haley, and Pipe Queen.
Can you imagine Lyric as HOH with her little girl ways.. gosh I like her but that’s going to be excruciating if it happens.
EVICTION EPISODE WEEK 2
Last week’s edit said danger for Melody. Is the danger nomination or eviction? I’ve operated under the feeling eviction. Part of me hopes I’m wrong. Not as a Melody fan… i don’t fan anyone this season, but to stem the babytalk of the showmance. It is sulfuric acid poured in my ears. Part of me hopes i am wrong so i can enjoy being wrong. Puzzle blockbuster. Jason or Rome higher odds to win.
Going to be slow tonight. Pause and replay for any oddity and i am starting almost twenty minutes late.
POST VETO CEREMONY:
highlight of showmance before we reenter the house. 2 or 3 times a deathknell? One mention of drag race.
Devens d/r wants Rome gone, Jason backup
Lyric prays Rome gets off block
Melody thinks win block buster but has votes maybe.
Jason needs to quit Rome.
Rome explains why he is up. Win block buster or 7 votes campaign trail. oops.
Melody less confident against Jason.
Drew thinks Rome is a shield, Melody a tool but not toolshed tool. He prefers Jason go home.
Showmance. The babytalk…. ugh. I can’t with the babytalk. Kill it with fire. Kill it in the head… just stawp the babytalk.
Lyric flirt strategy on Yash. Yash wooould keep Rome if it was just his choice. surprising nobody. Personal theory 1/2 the house would liiiike to keep every man over any woman.
Taylor would like to keep Rome. Lyric thinks she can get Mallory. but that is only 6 votes.
edit read is Jason? i think Jason. Nor for what said this time… for what is omitted. That has only happened once before.
SECTION TWO Broken Tools?
Another showmance mention. Too much talk of showmance reminds me of Matt MJ in his eviction episode?
Dee and Angela are mad the spy is hanging out with the people he is spying on.
Dee wants Melody out. Angela paranoia is catchy. like an STI. Episode Skipping their attitude has been tipping Drew and Barrett off that there is Denmark in the air. Are they going to make it look like Dee and Angela were prescient? Cause and effect flip?
Barrett and Mallory. Barrett not overly impressed with the Toolshed.
Mallory wants Rome to stay versus Jason.
Drew Barrett realize bottom of totem pole. They are not happy about the Red Corner.
Hinky vote idea for a Jason v. Rome scenario.
Rome eviction is looking more assured with this odd is there dissention edit? So happy not because of Rome but because it will mean my read is wrong (keep saying i want to be wrong every year… to keep me interested in watching).
BLOCKBUSTER “PIRATE’S BOOTY”
Q: do they have to be on the correct color post? Apparently yes though not explained in rules.
JASON WINS. I barely saw the cam on him. but i was looking down a bit.
THE EPISODE ISN’T EVEN 1/2 OVER.
EVICTION:
House knows Jason won Blockbuster.
Is the vote actually settled? Has sounded settled all week. but there is a possibility depending on how the feedblock went re talks with Taylor and La Trice although that was a case of Jason on block…. NO MORE BABYTALK… pleeease!!!
Rome: more to give. Shield ally friend. keep me.
Melody: So much fun dream to be here fight to stay asset. Love you all.
Evict Melody
Taylor
Evict Rome
Jason, Yash, Dee, Angela, Barret, Lyric, Mallory, Drew, Lala, Haley, Chuk, Kamu.
12-1 Rome is evicted.
Showmance reveal meaning everyone she flirted with saying they were broken up will think Lyric cannot be trusted???
Was the Taylor vote STRATEGY?
another lyric daddy song reference. can i be honest? i HATED this song. It was bubblegum used in a soap opera as a love theme. shudder.
ALL POWERS AND PUNISHMENTS REVEALED ON THAT UNLOCKED THING.
She better stop babytalking now.
GOOD FOR TAYLOR! NOW, if she can just keep that it was her UNDER WRAPS……
Trying to give this season a shot because I’ve been a fan since day one! However this has to be the weakest season ever. When Angela returned after the shit she did in her season and now she’s back.. it’s beyond me. I’ll just check in here for status updates:)
That is exactly how I feel! Why do they REWARD BAD BEHAVIOR! She was so nasty to the young man she called crazy eyes on her first season! And Now she has had safety for the first two weeks and she still is being Paranoid and Nasty! Nothing is more VILE than a person with Power being Nasty to other house guests! She is not entertaining or a very good player! She was dragged along to the end on her first season! I think I would enjoy this cast if Angela was not there!
They reward bad behavior because it rewards their pockets. Bad behavior brings more eyes which equals $. Maybe we as consumers are to blame? No demand? No supply.
I think Angela is doing what production has told her to do. I would have believed one attack. She really seemed upset. I would have been so hurt if I were her. However, I think production had her go overboard with it, not as bad but much like last time.
Now she’s getting all worked up about Drew. This is all for show. Production wants Angela to be that crazy lady we saw her before.
Angela is plain-ass obnoxious AND yes a lousy player.
You’d have thought production had a zillion other freekin’ choices to bring back.
Same, I’m done watching/wasting my time, and its only week two! However, I do enjoy the updates and chats here and will continue to support Simon, Dawg, and the rest of the participants on this site. (So much more interesting and no overuse of that stupid, dumb-yourself-down word “like!”)
Maybe CBS and Grod should take a few (or A LOT) of notes from here! Humbly submitted…
Sorry, Rome. You had potential but you let a showmance distract from your game. That’s a fatal flaw.
Please end the shout outs after voting. I officially hate Drew after tonight’s episode. Just cut their mics after the vote is cast. My mute button is getting worn out.
Jason or Angela can go next week, although I bet the producers won’t allow it.
Dee slipped and mentioned a “Selina” appearance. So I don’t see 12 yo drama boy leaving until after.
Two things tonight were hysterically funny: 1) The shoutouts and 2) The announcer giving shade with his “Pickleball Boy toy”
No college degree needed to be Pickleball Boy. He put his showmance first (fatal flaw), & being pussy-whipped on day one must be a BB record.
Brief feed return:
house chants ‘kill the egg.’
Me looking up:
Is she still in it?
I was looking to see if she was lying down in the floor again
Lyric is definitely not looking distraught. All smiles.
Yeah, you’d think she’d be at least a bit sad looking. Wonder how long it takes to replace Rome. She just comes across as the type who needs a man to protect her & give her cuddles.
I think she figures she has to appear normal going forward, doesn’t want her showmance to spoil things for herself like it did for Rome.
I find her to be an ordinary player; we all know how much BB likes cute girl houseguests. Her strategy of “I’m not with Rome anymore” was SO amateur.
Feeds back! Again. and Again…
Did I miss an HOH comp??
It hasn’t happened yet.. 🙂 I would assume they’ll block the feeds around 8 or 9pm for a couple hours to compete in the HOH..
Thank you Dawg!
I think it is terrible (for us and the HGs) that they don’t play for HoH right after, at least w/in say ½ hr. after eviction, any more. AND HOURS AFTER eviction is stupid/annoying. The only excuse they could possibly have is if the HoH is played in the same area as Blockbuster and they have to have time to change the set BUT THEN AGAIN, they should make it so that isn’t a problem!
Agreed. I think the emotions and nerves are more raw right after the eviction.. its painful waiting around for them to start it a couple hours later.
This is why I don’t like the blockbuster comp. They almost never have the HOH live. By not having them live, it’s easier to interfere with the results.
The ‘royal’ we overall doesn’t like delayed HoH comps (apparently, including JCM) and the HGs complain that there is so little to do between POV ceremony and eviction night….
So MAYBE, Blockbuster should be an individual comp played on Tues. or Wed. or even Thurs. morning w/o revealing to ANYBODY who won until eviction night and tell the noms they are forbidden from discussing the Blockbuster comp w/ anybody else including each other until it is shown to the other HGs and us BUT if they do they will get a penalty vote either in the current eviction vote and in the case of the Blockbuster winner, a penalty vote the next time they are on the block.
IF they did the Blockbuster that way, they’d (1) have “something to do” during that time period, (2) non-Blockbuster HGs could actually see the Blockbuster at the same time as everybody else AND (3) MAYBE, IF the delayed HoH comp is delayed b/c of having to change a competition set from Blockbuster to HoH on the same night THEN production wouldn’t have that excuse so they wouldn’t “have to” delay it.
Why did Taylor vote against the house?
Nobody knows yet.
Julie inferred to Rome that maybe she did it to sabotage Lyrica’s game. Everyone would assume that Lyrica cast that vote. If that’s why she did vote that way, it didn’t work because I don’t think anyone would fault Lyrica for voting for Melody.
Is it me or does the live show seem like a Nickelodeon show. The show is a lot of fluff. Do people really act like this in the “real world”. Never mind; I think I know the answer to my own question ??
Has Yash mentioned on live feeds, that he has appeared with his family on Season 2, Episode 4 of Fox’s game show The Quiz With Balls? I swear a lot of these people are actors or reality show whores!!!!
There are at least seven people this season with previous reality show appearances. Dee, Devens, Angela, Jason, lyric, Drew and Yash.
NOW, not technically in the “reality show” genre BUT…there is Kamu who had at least 1 UFC fight live via steaming and it can still be accessed to subscribers.
And Melody, has been in “entertainment” before too, as a sports reporter and is a host for the small niche of Game Show Battle Rooms, which the gen pop can’t see b/c it is for corporations to use/watch but still It’s “entertainment” experience.
Oh wow
That’s right. I didn’t know of Drew. And Ashley was on Barstool I believe; a weather girl or something. Interesting.
Unpopular opinion but I like Jason:)
I just noticed Taylor’s gold tooth/teeth for the first time tonight. Wow. That just goes to show how uninvolved she’s been so far. At the very least, it shows how little she’s smiled for the last 2+ weeks.
Rome. As they say in Hawaii, later brah. Your girl will be well taken care of. She’ll barely miss you.
Side note. I spent the first 16 years of my life in Hawaii. His personality will not go over well with those local dudes. Beware Rome.
I like that Julie wrapped up his exit interview by calling him a good sport. He truly is.
Most deserved eviction ever
Yep 1,000%
