The house got up early for this one. Drew won the Pressure Cooker at 2:47 AM after fourteen hours and nineteen minutes, and by 10:43 he is on the backyard couch doing the post-mortem with the people who watched it. He is going to use the veto on himself, which leaves Yash a replacement nominee to find. What Drew does not mention, once, in an hour of talking about that box, is the deal he made inside it.
- Power of Veto: Drew — 14 hours 19 minutes, a Big Brother record
- Using it: Yes, on himself. He is Yash’s target
- Nominees: Drew, Melody and Barrett
- The replacement: Yash has to name one — and it is Taylor or it is an Icon
- Thursday: three on the block means a Blockbuster before the vote

10:43 AM — Drew and Devens (Backyard)
Devens opens with something he is not sure he should repeat.
Devens: “Maybe I shouldn’t even get into it. It was just stupid. She was just upset. Just keep it between us, if you don’t mind.”
Devens: “They woke us up when Barrett fell. I had fallen asleep on the couch. So none of us actually saw Barrett fall.”
Drew: “I was like, there’s no way they’re still awake.”
Devens: “They called her in, and she was super annoyed that they woke her up for it. She was like, honestly, don’t even wake me up just for me to see that I’m pissed off about who wins this final two. Because I’m going to be happy about one and real mad about the other.”
Devens: “And I asked. I was like, what do you want to happen? I don’t even know. And she was like, are you serious? And I was like, yeah, I don’t know. Because you’re close to Drew, but it’s like a weird circumstance.”
Drew: “I can see her being like, she wants noms to stay the same.”
Devens: “She definitely did. She was like, I want Yash to win. And then she was like, I’m not being sarcastic. I was like, oh, okay.”
Drew: “I honestly don’t expect her to. Because now she thinks that if Barrett wins, she’s going to go. Which is the most possible. You guys would be dumb to keep all three after all of this going on.”
Devens: “But that was huge, man.”
Drew: “I know if Barrett won the Blockbuster, you guys were going to send me home.”
Devens: “I think probably so, dude.”
Devens: “That was straight up, that was awesome. And you know Barrett’s the one I want out.”
Drew: “No, I know. But if he wasn’t up there, I assume it would be me.”
Devens: “So it’s only the smart thing to do.”
Drew: “But that is really funny to hear her reaction to that.”
Devens: “I was b—-tching to Dee about it later. I was like, come on.”

Then the competition itself. Barrett had a technique, and it eventually killed him.
Drew: “Barrett crushed it, dude. He was doing this thing — so I had the worst angle on the mirrors.”
Devens: “I could see him and Yash looking in the mirrors.”
Drew: “Barrett’s angle was perfectly this way, so he could see where his thing was, and he was spinning it and putting it back in the middle every time. I think based on his height, it just wasn’t happening.”
Devens: “He just had to bend over a little more. That was rough. I couldn’t believe how long.”
Devens: “Dude, when he literally went down, crouched down and had his thing all bent — I’m not even kidding, we’re all watching at this point, because Barrett had gotten back pretty recently. And I said, oh, he’s playing with fire. And then he dropped.”
Drew: “I saw him do it like two hours ago, and I did it, and my thing moved. And then I did the spin thing that Barrett was doing and I was like, yeah, I’m not doing that again.”
Devens went out at 8:10 PM, roughly seven hours in, and has not stopped thinking about it.
Devens: “I had gone down and held it like this earlier, and I knew it wasn’t a good idea, but I was like, I’m gonna do it again. And that’s when I went down.”
Devens: “I was like, oh, I could have done it. And then you guys went on for so long. I was like, there’s no way. I would have screwed up five more times between when I left and you guys finished.”

Drew’s account of how he spent fourteen hours is not about the button.
Drew: “Sorry for being annoying, by the way. It was part of my game.”
Devens: “I assumed that that was the case. And also, it did make the time go faster. When it was just quiet, I was literally just counting to 100 over and over.”
Drew: “When you left, I got exponentially more annoying. I was squeaking my shoes.”
Devens: “Barrett said you were squeaking your shoes. Was he getting pissed?”
Devens: “No, he wasn’t, he didn’t sound pissed.”
Devens: “The girls were like, what are he and Yash talking about? And Barrett was basically like, he’s probably just—”
Drew: “F—ing yapping away.”
Devens: “Yeah, goofing around.”
Drew: “That kept my mind off of it.”
Drew: “When Barrett was in there, oh my God, I was making the s—tiest deals to both of them. I was like, listen, I have a never-not pass, Yash. I know how much you hate to be a have-not. I will give this to you.”
Drew: “I’d randomly just scream, like, wow, yeah, let’s go. I felt like that was mine to win, to be honest. But Yash crushed. Yash is a baller, dude. If you looked at him, he looked more stable than I did. I was moving around a lot. He was like a statue.”
Drew: “I kept doing that to Barrett. Every time he went all the way down and put his elbow on his knee, I kept looking at him. Then he’d look at me and be like, I should probably be careful. Because I was just f—ing waiting for him.”
Drew: “And then I didn’t know if I won. I was waiting for them to be like, all right, Drew, you won. I was like, can I do it? No one else is here.”

Drew: “Barrett was hurting. The whole time he kept coughing, and he progressively got more and more. You could tell, he just started wailing.”
Devens: “Barrett said his voice disappeared.”
Drew: “And they just stopped talking back to me. I kept asking him questions.”
Devens: “That was the one to win.”
Drew: “Yeah, I think so. For me. It makes me laugh, honestly.”
Devens comes back to Taylor one more time, and it is the sharpest thing he says all morning.
Devens: “I get it, yes, be focused. But also — win the Blockbuster.”
Devens: “Not to mention, if you have such an amazing social game, maybe at least be happy for the person who has a vote that you’ve been with the whole game.”

10:52 AM — Drew, Devens and Dee (Backyard)
Dee joins, and the three of them compare notes on the mechanics.
Drew: “That spin technique was the play. I saw both of them doing it, and I know I started off really high, but I got back down to the center at the very end. You can see where your little thingy was, because it made an indentation.”
Devens: “The spin is so weird, because it was hard to control. Sometimes you’re like, oh, I’m going the wrong way.”
Drew: “I think Barrett had it down to a science.”
Devens: “Honestly, when I left, I was probably in the best place I’d been in the whole game. I was like, I’d gotten it dead center.”
Dee: “Yeah, he kept doing it. But it was great. Crazy to watch.”
Drew: “Barrett or Devens?”
Dee: “Uh, Barrett. I didn’t notice — I think I saw you do it once only.”
Devens: “Yeah, I did it a couple.”
Drew: “He did it the whole time, and I was like, there’s going to be a time. You’re playing with fire.”
Devens: “It just does not go the way you want it to go.”
Drew: “Well, I put my card higher, right, in case what happened to you — it slides, so I have more time to catch it. But also I put my stick higher, which was probably not the right move. But I rolled it down, so that was cool.”
Drew: “I saw you were using the little belt. I f—ing stole that s— from you. I did that s— the whole time.”
Dee: “I was just resting on the belt.”
Devens: “Are you super sore this morning?”
Drew: “Just my calves. My gastrocnemius.”
Devens: “Did your feet last night feel like you’d spent the day at Disney World?”
Drew: “Dude, yeah. That’s why I untied my shoes and opened them up while I was there. And I kept egging them on. I was like, do it, guys. Do it.”
Drew: “And Barrett did. Yash didn’t move at all.”

Dee saw the two of them going at each other at the end and wants to know what it was.
Dee: “Were you and Yash arguing at the end?”
Drew: “I was just s—-talking.”
Dee: “Yeah, I knew you were s—-talking.”
Drew: “But he was going like this, so— yeah, well, I kept asking him.”
Drew: “And I kept being like, out of the three, am I the one you want to go this week? And he would just be like, yes.”
Drew: “He was dead tired too. And after you left I just became a menace and started talking the whole time and being really annoying.”
Drew: “Squeaking my shoe, singing. And then production was yelling at me. I kept saying their names as loud as I could.”
Devens: “Barrett!”
Drew: “Yeah! And then I’d be like, Drew.”
Drew: “But it was fun.”
Devens: “I was losing it after seven hours. I can’t even imagine. I’d be losing it.”
Devens: “I’ll be right back. Some coffee.”

10:55 AM — Drew and Dee (Backyard)
Devens goes in for coffee. With him gone, Drew concedes a little more than he did a minute ago.
Drew: “But yeah, there may have been a little bickering at the end.”
Dee: “Yeah, I know. I saw. It was funny. I was laughing.”
Dee: “What is f—ing Drew saying to you? Because I know that you were just being stupid.”
Drew: “Oh, dude, I was being an idiot the whole f—ing time.”
Drew: “But then he was telling me why he put me up. He was like, dude, this is all the f—ing s— you’ve done. Why are you asking me this? I’m over this.”
Dee: “It’s funny. I know. I wish we had sound.”
Drew: “I kept saying, oh my God, what a blessing to hang out with all my friends. We should do this every year.”

Dee had the best night of anybody.
Dee: “I probably had it the best out of everyone, because Taylor came back with me and she made quesadillas.”
Drew: “And you’re safe. Listen, you were safe for the HOH and you still went for it, which I completely respect. But you did like two hours and you’re like, cool.”
Dee: “I did four or five.”
Drew: “You did four or five hours?”
Dee: “I think I did like four, four and a half.”
Drew: “Dude, we are stubborn motherf—ers.”
Dee: “My body was fine. It’s just that damn thing. Every time you would laugh, it would go.”
Drew: “Yeah. I would see it.”
Then a non-sequitur, and an answer that is not one.
Drew: “Hey, D, you ever play dominoes?”
Dee: “No, but I was nonstop talking because I needed to talk to you.”
Drew: “Dude, that’s what I was doing. Pass time. And when they stopped talking to me, I didn’t know what to do.”
Drew: “And also, Devens, I couldn’t even stop talking to you. I think at one point he was mad at me.”
Dee: “Yeah, I know, I saw. I could have gone a little longer, but then I could not have gone as long as all you guys went. So I’m glad.”
Dee: “I’ll just chill and watch it and eat quesadillas, which is like crazy. I know you guys crushed it.”
Drew: “All three of us. I got to give respect to Barrett and Yash. I don’t think I would have gone as long if I didn’t have to because of f—ing them.”
Dee: “No, for you guys, it was do or die for sure. So mostly for you, because you’re his target.”
Drew: “Yeah, I’m his target.”
Dee: “That’s why you got to win that.”
And then, quietly, the two of them start counting Crossovers again.
Drew: “And if Barrett’s on the—”
Dee: “Final six?”
Drew: “Dude, I don’t know. There’ll be three Crossover people on the final six.”
Dee: “Maybe four, too. Possibly four, because he will probably win the Blockbuster.”
Drew: “In the most weird way possible. There’ll be four. Hopefully.”
Drew: “Still, I want one of us to win the whole thing.”
Dee: “I agree. Are you kidding me? Of course.”
Drew: “But it is pretty funny. I was thinking that last night.”
Dee: “Damn, four of us.”
Dee: “This week is a double, huh?”
Drew: “From seven to five. I could see that. I think that’s Angela’s season — she kept saying, oh no, it wasn’t this week, it was next week. But who knows?”
Taylor walks out. Drew, without a beat: “What up, Taylor?”

I don’t get it, Simon.
The time OBB said the pressure cooker began was 4:17 pm.
The time OBB said the pressure cooker ended was 2:47 am.
That’s NOT 14hrs19min, which is what you said was the new record Drew set when Yas dropped.
From 4:17 pm to midnight is 7hrs43min.
From midnight to 2:47 am is 2hrs47min.
7hrs43min plus 2hrs47min is 10hrs30min. NOT 14hrs19min. Not even close to that!!!
Please explain?!?!
The live feeds were initially blocked for the comp to start at 12:28pm .. at 4:17pm the feeds were turned on so we could watch after they had already been going for hours.. the comp ended at 2:47am.
Let’s not forget that it wasn’t a bribe. It was extortion. Take this “bribe” or I’m putting you up as the renom.
And Production was intentionally clear as mud regarding the terms of that power. Not going on the block at nominations and not going on the block as a renom should be two separate asks.
