Week 6 Veto Ceremony Results: “We’re About to Turn This Game on Its Head”

Devens has been sitting on the Diamond Power of Veto since Week 3. He told exactly one person. At the veto ceremony he used it — pulled Dee off the block and named Kamu in her place, cutting the Head of Household out of his own ceremony entirely.

Nominations are now Haley, Angela and Kamu. Yash could do nothing about it.

And it landed on the one person who saw it coming. Back in July, Kamu wanted Devens backdoored specifically to flush the power into the open, and got talked out of it because nobody knew what it did.

What he was holding

America sent him into the Time Capsule in Week 3 and he came out with the Diamond Power of Veto. Unlike a normal veto, it doesn’t just save a nominee — the holder names the replacement personally, taking the decision completely out of the HOH’s hands..

He had been imagining the moment since the night he won it. In the storage room, he acted out a future veto ceremony for Dee.

“And I say, not so fast, my friend. And then I pull down anyone I want, including myself or you.”

— Devens to Dee, the night he won it

Devens: “Literally the whole veto ceremony goes — like, say they backdoor me, and they go, this veto ceremony is adjourned. And I say, not so fast, my friend. And then I pull down anyone I want, including myself or you.”

Then he kept the secret.

Who knew

Dee, and nobody else. He told her in the storage room the night he won it, and she made him say it twice.

Devens: “Not golden power of veto but DIAMOND power of veto.”
Devens: “It’s for six weeks. So it’s yours, it’s mine, if either of us needs it. BOOM!”
Dee: “Thank you for trusting me.”

Fifteen minutes before that, he had been sitting in the HOH room lying to Kamu’s face about it.

Devens: “Elephant in the room. I have not gotten the advantage.”

The two of them then spent several minutes speculating about who really had it. Kamu’s guess was Drew.

Kamu wanted it flushed out in July

That same night, Kamu and Drew sat in the HOH room and worked out that Devens might be holding something. Kamu wanted to backdoor him to force it out.

Kamu: “I will do it. Dude, flush it out.”
Drew: “I would just be nervous what power it could be. He could be like, I can replace myself with anybody here.”

Which is very nearly what it does. Drew talked him down because they didn’t know. Kamu, giving up on it: “Are we going to be scared of him for the rest of the game?”

The house got close again on Saturday night

At 12:55 AM, off something Melody let slip about Dee, Drew and Barrett reasoned their way back to it in the backyard.

Drew: “That means Devens has it.”

They spent ten minutes guessing what it was. Barrett thought an extra veto. Drew wondered about a coup d’état. Half an hour earlier Barrett had joked that if he ever won HOH, Devens would come to him and say “I have an idea. You put me on the block.”

Melody got there independently at 3 AM: “So if Dee got the power, Devens definitely has it.” She was right about both of them, and told the one person who already knew.

Only Dee actually knew.

He decided on Sunday morning

In the hallway bedroom at 9:48 AM, Devens laid it out for Dee, and made clear what it was costing him.

Devens: “I think this is the right move, but I’m still selfishly like, damn, I’m in good with Yash and Kamu. That could carry me a long way.”

“But I can’t save you and be with them. I’m gonna save you. That’s beyond the doubt.”

— Devens to Dee

He wanted nobody warned. The surprise was part of the move.

Devens: “I’d rather just surprise everybody. Because if I tell you before I tell them, it makes us look closer than I am with them.”

The moment he described — “as he’s going to close the box, I’m like, hold up” — is the same one he had acted out for her in the storage room three weeks earlier.

He nearly banked it instead

The power runs six weeks from Week 3, which leaves two more after this one. Dee raised the obvious alternative: ride out the week on the vote and keep it in reserve.

Dee: “Is there a world where we feel so confident in the vote that we don’t even have to use it this week?”

They talked it through and Dee killed it on the arithmetic herself.

Dee: “We could not use the power, but then next week we have to use the power if f—ing Kamu wins, because he’s going to put me up again.”

Big Brother 2026 Devens talking to The camera on hammock alone.

10:02 AM — Devens (Hammock)

Fourteen minutes after leaving Dee, he was alone in the hammock talking to the camera.

Devens: “We’re about to turn this game on its head all over again. And the truth is, you only have a few moments in the game to make moves. So you have to decide, when you’re in those moments — HOH, veto, if you have a power — are you going to get as little blood on your hands as possible, try to stay on the radar, try not to upset things? Or are you gonna use those moments to try to dictate the action of the game, change the timeline, and put yourself in a position to win, even though the risk is huge?”

“I know full well that blowing up this game today, I could be gone next week.”

— Devens

Devens: “I know full well that blowing up this game today, I could be gone next week. I won’t have a power. I’ll have several people in the house that are good at comps that are going to make me public enemy number one. If the person I nominate comes back, they’re gonna go hard, hard, hard right at me — and they have every reason to. And that’s gonna be the case for weeks going forward.”

Close up of Big Brother 2026 Devens talking to The camera on hammock alone.

Devens: “But I could also get the person out. Take out a huge obstacle between me and winning this whole game. Solidify the biggest, newest alliance in the game. That, if it works, could get me real deep. If I’m putting too much faith in these people, then whatever. It’s not gonna work out.”

“You can’t play these games scared.”

— Devens

Devens: “But I just feel like you can’t play these games scared. And I would hate to be sitting here going, oh, I don’t have blood on my hands, people like me, I’m playing an under-the-radar game — and then, boom, you could still be out next week. You know? That might be someone I’m sitting against. And then I win the veto, or I win the Blockbuster, and they’re gone. And they never left an impact. It’s like they were never here at all. You won’t be able to say that about me.”

Devens: “I’m so lucky this is the third time I’ve gotten to play a game. It’s just not worth leaving my family at home — my beautiful kids, Jack and Juliet, my amazing wife, the beautiful Becca Devins. I’m not trying to leave them at home to come here and float my way through a game. Let’s make things happen. Let’s shake it up. Let’s dictate how this game is going to be played.”

Devens: “Every time I’ve gotten power in this game, I’ve tried to use it to better my position and better my alliance. And so, Dee is my number one. I believe that. If she’s loyal to me — if she’s behind the scenes not manipulating me — then good for her. That’ll hurt, but that’s the game. But no, you know how I ride for my number ones. David Wright in Survivor Edge of Extinction. Christian Hubicki in Survivor 50. Emily Flippen in Survivor 50.”

Devens: “I’m going to take care of Dee. I’m going to trust that that’s going to come back and pay dividends for me going forward, because we got a lot of game left. I’m going to rep for this new alliance, the Mosh Pit. And I’m going to take a big swing, because that’s what I do. Let’s see. It’s going to be a fun day.”

Devens: “But also, it will hurt a little bit. The personal and the gameplay mix up. But you gotta do what you gotta do. It’s a game.”

The speech was scripted in advance

Devens coached Dee to aim her fire at Kamu rather than at the Head of Household, and was blunt about why. Going at Yash “makes it look like Yash is a wimp and not coming up with this stuff himself.” Going after Kamu “is more strategic.”

The line he wanted the room to hear was “Kamu, this week it’s been obvious that you’ve been working against me” — not, in his words, “Dee’s pissed off, she’s a firecracker.”

Where it leaves the week

Devens spent the power with two weeks still on its clock — not because it was running out, but because he decided this was the week worth spending it on.

Yash counted five votes to evict Dee on Saturday night. One of the five he counted was Kamu’s. Dee and Devens had already worked out where that ends — Dee, the morning before it happened: “Either way, Kamu will sit next to anyone. He goes home.”

The alliance map after the ceremony

Friday’s map is gone. The house has split into two blocs, neither of which can see the full shape of the other — and one person is standing on both.

On both boards

Drew

At the hot tub he tells Dee he sees their five going deep. Fifty minutes later he is upstairs letting Yash and Taylor count him into their plans and reporting Dee’s movements to the HOH. He isn’t a clean member of either side so much as the join between them. His own words: “I don’t even think we’re the middlemen anymore. I think we’re the connector.”

Mosh Pit — also called the BOM

Drew · Barrett · Melody · Mallory · Dee · Devens · Angela

Seven people, and the entire opposing bloc in one name. It is FAP and the Crossovers joined together, which is why Drew keeps listing both. Drew and Barrett spent fifteen minutes in the backyard at 1:04 AM trying to name it — Bra Nation and Motley Crue went down before they landed on “the BOM,” short for Band of Misfits, best said in a French accent. Devens, meanwhile, calls it the Mosh Pit on camera the next morning. Two members, two names, and nobody has settled it. Three of the seven are the Icons, two of whom were on the block this week.

FAP — half of the Mosh Pit

Drew · Barrett · Melody · Mallory

Named as a joke, and the joke is the point — they’ve kicked around “For The American People” as the version that could survive an edit. Drew on where it sits now: “It’s just so much better now that FAP is rocking with them.” Them being the Icons.

The Crossovers — the other half

Drew · Barrett · Dee · Devens · Angela

Formed day two or three and never once said out loud to anybody outside it. Barrett: “I don’t think anybody knows about the crossover.” Drew: “I see a world where it’s us five.”

The HOH side

Yash · Kamu · Taylor · Haley · Drew

Never formally named, but it’s the side holding the room. Yash campaigned hard to keep Haley — “This is a rare opportunity where we can get someone with us where if they win, we win” — and Taylor now says the group out loud: “me, you, Haley, Kamu, Drew.” Haley is on the block and has no idea she’s in it.

The Icons

Dee · Devens · Angela

Dee came off the block by Devens’ hand, Angela is still on it, and Devens has spent his power. Taylor gave the reason the trio is being hunted — “We can’t let the Icons take our season” — while exempting one of them: “Angela don’t count in it.” Drew and Barrett are quietly working to keep all three.

Fractured — Bermuda Triangle

Yash · Kamu · Devens

Named by Devens on Friday, and Yash called it the strongest thing he had. Two days later Dee is asking how Kamu could work with two people since day one and turn on them, and says he’s “getting all up in Yash’s head.” Devens has now put one of the other two on the block.

Broken — Wolf Pack

Yash · Kamu · Devens · Dee

Not a functioning four any more. Dee was the HOH’s target and knew exactly where she stood — “I don’t give a f— who Yash says is his target.” Historical now, but it explains the grudges.

Split — The Bad Boys

Yash · Drew · Kamu · Devens · Barrett

All five men, formed at 3:30 Friday morning and unspoken by design. It did not survive the week. Drew and Barrett are building toward the Icons while Yash and Kamu work the other direction, and Yash’s read on one of the other five is not fraternal: “Barrett’s the best pawn we have.”

Lala & Taylor

Lala · Taylor

Taylor has moved. She spent the overnight in the HOH room running vote math with Yash on keeping Haley, and Barrett recounts three separate alliances she has tried to start with him — one of them named two days before she voted that person out.

Absorbed — Melody & Mallory

Melody · Mallory

Still tight, still close to Barrett, and now inside FAP and counted into the Mosh Pit. Melody is also the leak — she is the one who told Drew that Dee claimed to have had a power and used it.

B28 Time Capsule tally

The BB Time Capsule is a multi-week America’s Vote twist running Weeks 2 through 7. Each week America votes one houseguest into the capsule, that houseguest plays alone, and they come out with either a power or a punishment. One trip each — once you’ve been in, you’re out of the pool.

Two powers won, three punishments handed out, and one week still to come.

Week 2

Angela. Lost. Spent the week in the Hard-Boiled Detective costume.

Week 3

Devens. Won the Diamond Power of Veto — pull a nominee off the block and name the replacement yourself, with the HOH cut out of the decision. Good for six weeks. Used in Week 6 to save Dee and nominate Kamu.

Week 4

Dee. Won the BB Bribe. $5,000 offered to one houseguest in exchange for an action that helps her game. Valid to the end of the season, and the target can turn it down. Still unused.

Week 5

Mallory. Lost. Received the Adam and Eve punishment and picked Melody to serve it alongside her — Melody was never in the capsule herself. The two were tethered together in fig-leaf costumes for 48 hours.

Week 6

Melody. Lost. Received Lady of the Latrine, making her the house bathroom attendant. She has to unlock the bathroom, take each houseguest’s request, announce their trip to the porcelain throne, and lock up again afterward. Nobody is allowed to assist her.

YES — Barrett isn’t a renom and Diamond Devens uses the DPOV to backdoor Temu!! Then we can get Yash and his god-awful haircut out next.

And then we’ll circle back to the icons. HALLELUJAH!!!

ButtersMom

haha.. someone finally said it about his haircut… i dont understand why he would cut his hair like that lol

d...

finally? i think the first comment i posted was about his haircut and tons of other people said it looked awful week one too.

To by? ten czas

They not. Yash wanna evict woman. Taylor and Lala talk about evicting icons, Malloy wanna evict them too but after Kamu gone

Hinky Vote

I know I said it week one. And he cuts Devens’ hair?

bb4eva

Your priorities are quite different from mine. Yash & Kamu are the ONLY guys left who are willing to target the icons, yet you want them both gone next. How are you planning to “circle back to the icons” without them?

Alina Anderson

I agree completely!

Steveo

If Kamu and Yash are gone, who will target Dee and Devens? They will cruise to final 4.

Team Taylor

Thog

Bib Budders

Kamu vs Haley and Angela….Hmmmmm I wonder who’s gonna win Block Buster….Bad move Devens…DERP

Ticofernandez

Not a bad move at all. No guarantee kamu beats Haley even if he does better to guarantee that one of them leaves then risk Haley winning blockbuster and losing Angela just to save his dpov when next week him Dee and Barrett would prob be the noms if the other side wins hoh and his dpov would be useless anyway.

bb4eva

Definitely a bad move by Devens & for Devens. It only helps Dee, who happens to be the one planning to cut HIM 1st chance she gets. He’s basically costing himself any real chance at winning the $750k. By saving her, he helps her win chances & hurts his own. lf he were smart, instead of just lucky, he would have let her(his main competition)go on Yash’s watch, avoiding getting her blood on his hands. Unfortunately, he’s not that smart.
I was hoping that Yash would figure out that Devens was the only one who might have the power to save her. He almost got there, concluding correctly that Devens had a power, but failing to reach the logical conclusion that, if he had a power(and since the 2 of them had obviously been working together from the start), Yash could simply use his veto to replace Thog with Rick, preventing Rick from saving Dee by forcing him to have to save himself.
Alas, no such luck. Sigh…

Barrett’s Curling Iron

Angela for the win

K O

said no one.. ever. Ewwie!!

Amy N

I hope Kamu wins battle back and Angela goes. I’m sick of the production assist.

Team Taylor

We all know it’s either Temu or Thog. I’m good with both outcomes.

bb4eva

If Kamu wins Blockbuster, Yash’s HOH will still be somewhat successful, although not as successful as Dee’s eviction would have been. The elimination of either Haley or Angela will improve the atmosphere of the house by making it far less toxic & negative than if both were still there.

Gan ainm

Poor Yash, in a game where nearly everyone was competing for the middle he was low-key doing it best. But he kept floating to the wrong people at the wrong time. Now he could lose an ally on his own HOH. Grod must not like him.

Jay

Devens- thank you for making this game interesting!!

It’sMe

How? By getting special powers from production?

bb4eva

By shooting himself in the foot.

MraKus

I’m enjoying FAP+The Icons and I especially love Kamu being on the block but I keep feeling weird about how it’s literally an all-white alliance minus Haley. Good thing that at least Mel+Mal still wanna get out Devens and Dee before Taylor and Lala, I like that stuff still hasn’t been set in stone so far ahead yet.

bb4eva

Your down votes speak for themselves.

Steveo

Did you feel weird about the “all-black” alliance vocally and directly taking out all of the non-blacks in Big Brother 23?

Moaning murtle

Well, here we are again: Deven is using his Veto to save Dee, and he is going to deeply regret it. Did everyone forget she won Survivor by being a cutthroat, socially savvy challenge beast? Anyone who thinks she isn’t doing the exact same thing here is blind. Deven should know better than to trust her! I’ve said from day one that Dee is getting top three, production conspiracy theories aside. No wonder they’re always dancing—they’re coasting to the end.
Why is this cast paving a yellow brick road for them? Drew and Barrett think they can eat their way to final two. Mallory and Melody are just moping and riding coattails to the jury. Meanwhile, comp beasts like Kamu, Yash, and Haley just got handed their walking papers. As for Taylor, Lala, and Angela? Total collateral damage. They are isolated, easy to manipulate, and can’t win a challenge.
Why did this game get so boring and predictable? Why let these “icons” coast while only complaining in secret? How long until Yash and Kamu realize Deven betrayed them, and how long until Haley realizes she isn’t winning America’s Favorite Player?

Update: Deven is making the exact same mistakes he did on Survivor. That’s why he keeps second-guessing himself! He knows Dee is an absolute shark who pretends not to be. He knows this is a massive strategic blunder, and honestly, Dee knows it too. She is just letting him dig his own grave!

ButtersMom

I wouldnt be surprized if Dee and Devons end up on the amazing race as partners as well as possibly drew and melody and barrett and mallory. Im hoping that happens.

Sherri

True

bb4eva

Surprisingly large # of down votes on an obviously cogent & correct comment.

JustMyOpinion

You’re on target and this is why I hate this BB season.

Hopefully smug Dee goes sooner rather than later; and hopefully Devens regrets using his power. Truth is I’ve stopped caring about this season although I’ll continue to watch.

K O

I stopped watching as soon as Angela walked through the door! I can usually only make it through half the season before everyone starts to annoy the life outta me, but this season I didn’t even make it through an episode! This show just isn’t relative anymore, they’ve gotta change it up BIG time or move on to something new.. same as survivor! (Unpopular opinion, I know, but watch some of the original seasons and you’ll see just how boring the new season have gotten.

Moaning murtle

Ps meant Drew and Barrett think they can eat their way to the end how great it would be to see them get blown away by Mallory or Dee who is using Barrart’s crush on her to her advantage ( why not) I am sorry Melody let Dee rope a door her so badly. Sigh once again Dee and maybe not Deven after today on easy mode who cares if Angela explodes she doesn’t have the push, power or people skills to make any changes. Why do you think, fans this is happening ? Could it be all production.

Moaning murtle

Oops sorry hot dog fingers even while editing meant Drew an Barret rat their way to the end . Glad Yash did not show any anger.Kamu ate Dee’s we are good line. Melody and Mallory allowed themselves to be ” roped a doped” until Dee and Deven no longer need them and convince Barret and Drew of that to. Say goodbye Kamu .. Taylor guess you got your wake up call? Lala I am sorry the house mates treat you as dismissively as a slave ( yes you have been annoying and I overbearing but dismissive of another human being is no more mature behaving either. You will be around like Felicia…Angela too. What is wrong fans with this show? this season? this cast?

whoknows

So Kamu told Mallory that Lyric threw Mallory under the bus and that is why he put Mallory up. Isn’t that a lie? I thought at one point Kamu said it was Drew and he was going to pin it on Lyric just to protect Drew. That’s low.

Terri Rea

Not a smart move Devens!! Hope it comes back to haunt him. Also Dee tried to use her bribe and it didn’t work. Shouldn’t she no longer have this bribe. If it belonged to anyone else that would be the case. Dee is getting way more chances than the average player.

Steveo

The BB Bribe is a stupid power and it should have had parameters around its usage. I would have put conditions on it like it can only be used for three things: The use of the Power of Veto, Safety from being nominated, and vote for a certain HouseGuest to evict. Surely if she tried to use her bribe and it was refused, her power should be nullified. It doesn’t make sense if she can hold onto it and keep brining it up. So if she gets to the end and is safe, she will be able to give someone $5000 for the hell of it or as a gift.

Hinky Vote

She should have “offered” it to Devens to use the Diamond POV on her. That way, they both get something out of it.

Mooning

Yash put up Dee who was in his alliance. Kamu actively pushed for Dee to go up plus get evicted even though Kamu and Dee were in two alliances together. So Devens choosing to save Dee makes sense as the other two clearly aren’t into loyalty to allies.

Steveo

But it now leaves Devens powerless and exposed as working closely with Dee over everyone else. He should have kept the power for himself.

Lucas

Dumb move for Devens. He just put a giant target on his back & exposed his alliance with Dee. Now his power is gone

Mooning

I wonder how Angela will take Devens saving Dee over her if she manages to stay?

double deuce

So I love D&D in the game. They completely jump started the game especially because of casting missteps and Taylor and Yash taking so long to finally start playing. No doubt. The major fucking problem is production GAVE them a clearly game changing advantage AND a second potentially game changing power. For what? Why? It was completely unnecessary. D&D ARE STRAIGHT UP REALITY SHOW GANGSTERS. THATS WHY THEYRE IN THERE. This game finally found its stride and now they’ve very likely fucked over one of the best factors in the game. Weak. It’s no surprise to me, I knew it was going to happen. I’m just hoping BB actually has interns or someone paying attention to what fans think of this BS so it never gets repeated.

Pumpkin Patch

Whoever goes home this week the other 2 and Devons and Dee need to be the targets for the next four weeks! And hopefully production doesn’t cheat for Devons and Dee!

JMad

Gotta win HOH first…

Steveo

For that to happen people need to actually start trying to win HOH.

d...

seems like a pretty bad move. better to just rally the votes so dee stays no matter what and save it, but whatever. least it’s out of the game now.

Mooning

Someone counted five votes to evict Dee. Kamu as one of them. hy Deven used the dpov on Dee. Now Deven and Dee have a better chance of keeping Angela. Maybe even evict Kamu. I personally would like to see Kamu go first then Angela. Haley’s just a delusional floater who has no clue what is going except she ‘s uncomfortable with whatever it is.

d...

while devens would like to keep dee, i don’t think it’s a must, plus it exposes their game. i think he’s in serious trouble if taylor, lala, or kamu/hayley win the next hoh and the closeness of mallory/melody/barrett/drew is a growing threat.

Bigguns

Dude Dee rockin some big knocks. Some shirt they look kinda ave, some they look a little fuller, but lately, she’s been showin off those jumbo juggers!

Bib Budders

Her and Melody should walk in wearing a peanut budder bikini – now thats a BB Time Trip!!!

Bib Budders

cmon season 3!!!!, that was awesome, especially when the peanut budder started to melt 😛

Barrett’s Curling Iron

Angela is so using these people and is going to win this game. Her “boring” game is gonna take home the cash at the end…er, check at the end!

Barrett’s Curling Iron

Did Devens get the $5K from Dee?

Dawg

haha he should have asked for it but no, Dee is saving it for another opportunity to use it..

Steveo

He should have asked for it. It would be the least she could do.

un autre nom

Right now the nomination block is 2 NOPES and a mope.
I can live with that.
Part of me almost sees Dee convincing Devens to jump attempt a jump to Yash and Taylor in order to target Drew and or Melody. If that means saving Kamu… why do I get the feeling she would? This is Dee.
Mallory has kept the offer from Yash and Taylor to herself. This means she is being self determining so far. Not expected… but maybe it should have been because she played middle between Lyric and Melody without much of a sweat.
Did Devens move help Devens game? Not really. But with a new twist coming in just over a week… it was bound to happen.
Part of me expects next week to end up being a coin flip. Just saying it would make sense.

d...

yup, totally fine with whoever goes this week.

Mooning

I was thinking the same thing that next week will be the coin flip. Great way for production to control the next HOH.

Jules

So, people hate Kamu because he’s playing the game but love Dee, Drew and Devens, who have been throwing people under the bus plus lying about people since the show began. Mallory hates Kamu because he was was trying to put her up, yet she has been targeting him since week 1, when “Dee” actually did put her up, but she’s cool with Dee. And him flirting with Lyric( her words) pissed her off. She also didn’t like Rome. Lyric was actually doing the flirting with Kamu and Chuck. That was her game, flirting, which she said she would do if Rome got evicted. Why it pissed Mallory off so much is a great question. Devens threw away $750 thousand dollars for Dee, when he could have been totally safe for 2 more weeks?! What a complete idiot. He’s right up there with a Lawon, during his season. Dee’s lying about her power. You only get one chance to offer the money up. She lied in the beginning about what power she had. I guess rules don’t apply this season. Js..

Steveo

So Kamu hasn’t thrown anyone under the bus? Remember just a week ago where he dropped his closest allies (Chuk and Haley) and sold them out.

GoDar

If the group was smart….. They would vote out the three icons next so they do not go to jury and they can make other reality show winners think twice about coming on the show.
