Lyric – did Rome tell you that he was going to do that? Walking out? Devens – No, with you? Lyric – yeah. Devens – No, I had no idea. Lyric – crazy! Did he tell you anything about that? Devens – No, nothing. No, I was in the dark. I was glad he was talking to me at all. He wasn’t confiding all that in me. He didn’t tell you? Lyric – No. Devens – just shocker! Lyric – yeah. Devens – oh wow! That’s a lot. Your mind is probably still spinning from everything Huh? Lyric – well, I blacked out! I was like so in shock that he was actually.. Devens – yeah. Lyric I mentally prepared myself for it happening but when it happened I was like oh crap! He’s leaving, you know? Devens – yeah. Do you like him too? Lyric – I really like him, yes, but for me its important my family likes the person. Devens – right. Lyric – I told him, its really nice getting to know you but I really would love for my family to meet you. Devens – right, well they’ll love him. He’s so nice.

Kamu – Rome has stronger feelings for her than she has for him. You know? Yash – she’d be ripping that bro. Kamu – She told me she’s like when I first came to the house. She’s like my mom, she’s like, before coming to the house, my mom told me whatever you do, do not end up in a showmance. And she goes. And when I met Rome, you know, she’s like, Rome told me that he wanted to protect me. And so for me, having a like a big, strong physical threat or like, you know, physical competitor, protect me. She’s like, yeah, it sounded really nice, but she’s like I wasn’t looking for a showmance. So I feel for Rome because I think that he’s way more into her than she is to him. and she was just looking for somebody to protect her. Yash – he got got. Kamu – and yeah bro. Yash – and he got got. But that’s crazy she said all that, bro. Kamu – Even then, dude, even in the veto speech, she’s like, yeah, I’m only up here because of Rome. And although I do, I was like.. Devens holds the HOH and the Veto — and he’s used it. Rome is on the block after Devens took Lyric down at the ceremony, leaving Rome, Melody, and Jason to battle in Thursday’s Blockbuster with Rome the target. Meanwhile a new final two forms inside the Toolshed and the outgoing side regroups.
Drew “I don’t think we’re the heroes of this story though. I think people are looking at us as the rats.”
8:50pm Backyard – Drew and Barrett
Drew – I think this season is like very interesting because it’s very split and it would be easier if we were just very like seen on one side. Drew knowing that Kamu can hear him jokingly says – It’s like we’re not, but I would put Kamu up in a heartbeat just like comedy, like the biggest threat in this house, especially when it comes to the ladies? Like, how am I supposed to compete with a guy like that? We should come up with a final two name. I’m surprised we haven’t done that yet. Big Brother switches the feeds inside and then back out. Drew – Even Haley and Chuk. And then it might be open season for us to start f**king tearing it up. Its when does that happen. Barrett – I wouldn’t waste any time. Drew – It think Drew feels very vulnerable right now. Barrett – yeah but I mean it would guarantee that one big player goes home. Drew – it would which is a big, big space in this house. I am not doing anything crazy until Rome and Jason are out because I have such a good connection with Rome.
“I Think Melody Should Go… over Jason, everybody hates him”
Devens is locked on Rome for Thursday — but Rome isn’t the name that moved the needle Monday. On the living-room couches, Dee floats a very different target (“I think Melody should go… over Jason”), Rome coaches Lyric on surviving the Blockbuster, and the winning side takes a victory lap while planning a house with no floaters left in it.
“I don’t know if it blows up your strategy at all, but I would appreciate if you took Lyric off the block and put me on.”
5:15pm Backyard – Rome and Devens
Devens – This one thing has been nagging at me since the speech that occurred on nomination night. Rome – I don’t remember nomination night, so I kind of blacked out. But one thing you said, when push came to shove you felt like you couldn’t trust me. I wanted to know specifically if there was anything I did to make you feel that way. Or if maybe you felt I had stronger connections elsewhere. But when I talked with you I was like, you’re one of the only people in this house I genuinely trust. And that’s why it hurt on a deeper level when I felt like someone that I genuinely trusted kind of like forked me a little bit. So it was nagging at me, like I wonder what I did that he felt like he couldn’t trust me. Devens – right. No, first of all I’m glad we get to talk this out because I hope you know you’re one of the people I like most in the house. Which is part of the reason I’m like dude this guy is a big problem. That specific line was just you have so many people you were with that I was just like when push came to shove I wouldn’t be a priority.
Melody “Honestly, if he doesn’t use the veto I feel like my game is like totally unrecoverable.”
3:20pm Backyard – Chuk and Lyric
Chuk is asking Lyric about her past relationships. Lyric – Yeah, his dad was a pilot, so their family was pretty well off. Chuk – did he buy you lots of things. Lyric – No, he didn’t. That’s the thing he didn’t buy me anything. I feel like I never had, like a thoughtful boyfriend. And I can’t wait till I get one. Chuk – So he wasn’t like thoughtful in that sense? Lyric – do you think you growing up with sisters, like has really helped you? Chuk – Yeah. In terms of is and it’s almost, it’s not like my sister’s like, told me do this, do that. You just know, ’cause you are with them so much and you just realize things and you learn.
