8:10pm Storage Room – Melody and Drew
Melody – worst case or whatever, like Jason wins the blockbuster. He thinks that we were going to keep him. He still does his thing. Drew – yeah. Malody – Jason’s on the block, he goes home. Drew – yeah, peak.. bang.. the weeks done! Win HOH, put me, Barrett and Mallory up.. and then Yash as the replacement. Melody – I like the way you’re thinking! Drew – then you infiltrate the other side. Melody – Hmmmmm. Drew – get into a showmance with Chuk. Melody – no. Drew – Slime Lyric out. Get into a showmance with Chuk. Melody – I couldn’t even do a fake showmance with Chuk. Drew – why not, he’s the best! F**king love the guy! I love Chuk!

Backyard Hammock – Drew, Mallory, Barrett and Melody and Drew
Melody – so Yash is also on our side right? SO if Jason wins the block buster, we’re still going to be friends with him and work with him? Everyone’s on board with that? Drew – yeah. And that is why I am worried about telling Taylor that we’re not on board because if he does stay, she would be like, oh they were going to vote you out. Melody – Yeah. Mallory – well then someone would have to tell her right before the vote. Drew – lets just do that. Mallory – she would be so blindsided though and then she would know that we were having conversations behind her back. Melody – I feel like Taylor is more logical than you’re giving her credit for. Mallory – she came up to me and she was like, I think it’s best if we get Lala out for our game. Like I know it’s going to break her up, blah, blah, blah. Like I know she’s a logical person. Drew – Why don’t we just say we like your idea? Melody – because she wants to keep Jason. Drew – No. Say we like your other idea better. Melody – I don’t think she’d have an issue with voting out Jason. Drew – I am terrified of Jason because Jason’s the type of dude when he is backed into a corner he will burn all of us! Melody – 100%! Mallory – I am down to talk to Taylor. Drew – lets just stop playing the game for a day. Maybe Jason will do something to piss her off. Then we don’t even have to talk to her.

Melody and Barrett talking:
Melody – So I’m really going back and forth on you guys. Barrett – It’s a game of going back and forth. So yeah, especially when it comes down to somebody who we don’t really trust. Melody – Yeah, one hundred percent. Barrett – But if he wins the blockbuster and we get to keep Mallory, it’s really not the worst scenario in the world. It’s just that we have the risk of him being doing that. And I’m like, why not give it a try?

9:15pm Bedroom – Angela, Dee and Devens
Angela – Tell the team that’s what HE (Kamu) wants so that we don’t look guilty. We’re only guilty by association. Devens – yeah and we’ve got to get Haley hard on that because she keeps using her. She was fine for Lala last night. So we’re still all on the same page. Angela – you talk to Kamu a lot. Devens – we were talking this morning. We’re like, its definitely Mallory. No doubt in his mind. Angela – tell him he’s got to lead his team as HOH. Devens – ok! Angela – His alliance. Make him feel like its his. Devens – ok, I’ll do that. Angela – I want to start making him feel like its HIS alliance. Tell him HE has to lead HIS team into battle. And we have to do it for the good of the team. Devens – ok! I’m into it! Angela – HE’S a warrior! Angela – that’s the best way to do it.. RUN IT UP!
9:35pm Bedroom – Haley, Angela and Dee
Haley continues to show interest in Kamu and talks with Angela and Dee about subtly helping things along. The three discuss “planting” positive comments about Haley or creating light, organic interactions whenever they’re around Kamu. Angela adds that they would only do it if Haley is comfortable with it. Haley likes the idea, and Angela volunteers to come up with natural, funny conversation starters that could help build a connection between them. As they continue chatting, Haley worries about making Kamu uncomfortable or embarrassing him if her interest becomes too obvious. The others reassure her that any hints should be very subtle—more about testing the waters than openly flirting. They also express confidence that Kamu is good at reading attraction and believe he would likely pick up on genuine interest without feeling pressured. They agree that keeping things natural is the best approach.
9:46pm Backyard Hot Tub – Kamu and Lyric quickly get out to jokingly give Drew and Melody time alone..

10:45pm Backyard – The house guests are chatting and hanging out.
11:35pm Bathroom hangout
11:45pm Mallory and Lyric
Lyric – do you think that Drew is lying to you? Mallory – no. Drew was being honest saying this is what Kamu wants. If he gets people to go on that side.. even if we lose Dee and Angela, we have enough. Lyric – wait what did Drew say? Mallory – Kamu wants me gone. Lyric – really? Mallory – yes. Lyric – if that happens, I will not speak to him. Mallory – he wants Jason gone the most but if its between me and Lala, he wants me gone the most. Lyric – why? I thought everyone wanted Lala gone. Mallory – I guess because he heard I would put up him, Haley and Chuk. That’s what he thinks and I swore up and down that, that is not true. Big Brother switches the camera..

12:40am Kitchen – Mallory and Barrett checking out the memory wall.

12:55am Lounge Room – Barrett, Drew, Melody and Mallory are sharing all the past jobs they’ve had. Drew to Barrett – what do you do now? Barrett – Reality tv. Mallory – oh yeah reality tv. Drew – is this a job?

Sort of getting a tinfoil ping. I’ve been trying to fight it. So I’m just going to ask the question that is causing my Grodmeter to go off.
When Drew and Kamu talked before Monday this week, Kamu told Drew that Angela and Dee were talking mad shit about Drew. That did happen… right? I remember it. HOH room.
What struck me and keeps striking me:
While Drew said ‘oh, really.’ NOTHING ever came of it.
That is ODD.
So… WHY?
And this is where the tinfoil starts and i start sideying everything through a d/r monkey and storyline lens that makes me believe we have possibly once again devolved into a non scripted but situationally suggested weekly storyline.
I’m VERY much trying not to do that.
So.
Can Anyone help.
The conversation happened, right?
Why has there been absolutely zero effect?
Another thing. Yeah. I get lots of Grodian tinfoil pings. but usually they have a viable justification.
Anyone else notice that the kettle and spoon stuff and the Tea Party itself lends itself to inclusion in the Wednesday episode better than having it all happen after the veto ceremony (the cut off point for the Wed. episode?).
It struck me as odd to do the call out and break the rules by naming the renom before the veto ceremony.
It struck me as odd that the antics have dropped ever since.
Looks left, looks right. Something feels off.
And not just because they both rehearsed lines for call out speeches a day before anything happened.
Something feels very Grod.
So beyond the ability to edit the big dramatic events better if they fit into the schedule for editing… the fact that there is a fan vote where the impulse might be to divide the vote of non-survivor fanatics so that a suvivor may get the next reward might also come into play (in this case the Sunday edit may have given the impression Drew needed a power, the Wednesday episode will lean more to Jason, dividing the vote for non stunts while the stuntcast voting block continues to vote stuntcast or bust).
Am I going too tinfoil because this crossed my mind? Most likely. But these things really make me… concerned.
Ooh, I think I see the problem. You’re thinking logically. Stop that!
What is the point of all this talk of who to vote out when Drew and Barrett won’t flip the vote without getting permission from those they are trying to flip the vote on. Am I stupid or are they? To play a middle game, there needs to be a middle. Do they not realize that after next week they lose the numbers to decide the vote? Not that it matters because one of those non-tools would still need to win HOH but never mind because Devens will just use his power.
Wednesday am
They are letting them sleep in today.
Therefore:
a thought.
Why is it that every time there is a power imbalance in the house in any season post 19…
there is an overwhelming urge by those in power to complain about the house target’s existence whilst pulling a shun but looking up to the cams and saying ‘oh i hope they don’t isolate themselves’ and at the same time complaining if they campaign, speak, breathe?
Privately I think to myself that this season is a lot more like 18 than I care to admit.
a group of stunts brought in with newbs. check. a power distribution and heirarchy immediately established to make the stunts superior in social pyramid. check. powers brought in to benefit the staying power of stunts. check.
What we won’t see? A battle back campaign.
Preview for tonight.
Unsurprisingly.
The edit slant of the kettlespoon moment is Jason emotional vindictive against the house and Kamu calm and reasonable.
Reminder:
Kamu decided to do a callout the night before the veto ceremony (great timing for a whole block in the veto episode), practiced his lines for a whole day with help from Dee. Jason actually defended himself well. He had also been practicing call outs the day before the tea party alone in the gym. The house scattered because everyone is afraid of the 6 to 8 headed dragon, or is paaart of the 6 to 8 headed dragon.
Kamu spent the next 24 hours seeking constant validation. Unfazed my ass.
We got pots and pans style activity. for about…8 hours. just enough for a montage clip.
then nada.
Preview 2 The tea party
Everyone happy flash to Kamu practicing lines in bathroom alone. Happy music and dress up clips. Kamu dark music black clothes. He joins and starts his speech. Calls out Jason. d/r clip of Devens saying sit back let tea be spilled. As if Devens and Dee did not ACTIVELY encourage the call out.
I am NOT liking the look of these previews for giving the Episode only people the ACTUALSTORY.
