The Set-Up: Seven Years, Expectations, and a Letter from Home
When Vinny entered the Big Brother house, he carried not only his strategic game as a superfan but also the weight of a seven-year relationship with his girlfriend, Kelsey. Early in the season, during his first Head of Household reign, he received a heartfelt letter:
“Hey Vinny! Kelsey here. I MISS YOU SO MUCH! I miss bothering you and waking you up in the morning. And generally having my best friend around. To say you supply my life with so much love and joy is an understatement. Even though it’s hard not to be with you, I’m really proud of you. I miss traveling with you. Happy very late 7-year anniversary. We have a lot to make up for and I can’t wait to do it all with you. I love you so much, love Kelsey.”
That letter set the emotional backdrop for Vinny’s time in the house, reminding viewers of a life left behind and a deep, long-term commitment that would later be tested.

The “Cheatmance” / “Flirtmance” with Morgan: More Than Just Friends?
Vinny and Morgan’s bond developed quickly, moving beyond alliance strategy. Live feed updates captured moments that fans interpreted as emotionally and physically intimate:
Vinny “I think this is why when I tell you I love you, like I say, you will never actually understand or believe how much.” OnlineBigBrother.com
Vinny “I don’t want to go back to the real world.” OnlineBigBrother.com
Vinny “I will literally always love you like on a very deep core level.. you’ve been my rock this entire game” OnlineBigBrother.com
Vinny “I feel really stupid about the OPTION ONE thing.. it’s very hard.. it’s very strong. I don’t’ know why” – Vinny talking in code about what is speculated to be them flirting with the idea of being together in the real world. OnlineBigBrother.com
Other moments showed them comforting each other after competitions, having uncomfortably long hugs, whispering late at night, rubbing each others legs and arms, and sleeping next to each other in the HOH room for almost half the season. The Zingbot roast encapsulated public perception:
“What do you call someone who lights up when Vince enters the room, gives him long, passionate hugs, and warm, affectionate cuddles?”
The answer, delivered with comedic timing, was: “His girlfriend.”
Additionally, fellow houseguests often discussed how uncomfortable Vinny & Morgan’s relationship was making them feel. Keanu was quoted as saying this is Big Brother not “Big Brother Cheating Island” referencing Vince’s perceived emotional cheating with Morgan while he had a girlfriend, Kelsey, outside the house.
While Vince and Morgan both insisted they were “just friends,” the optics and live feed clips suggested a deeper emotional bond than a standard alliance. Compounding Vince & Morgan’s messy flirtmance relationship and why viewers question Vince stating it was only plutonic is for the simple fact that Vinny rarely mentioned Kelsey.

The Missing Letter and Family Video: Signs of Trouble?
After the first HOH, Kelsey’s communication with Vince became notably non-existent. She sent no additional letters during his subsequent wins. Compounding the tension, Vince’s family video message came from his parents—not Kelsey—leading him to question the state of their relationship:
“It was great seeing my parents, but I was kind of surprised it wasn’t from Kelsey. I am getting a little worried. Am I single right now? Did Kelsey dump me?”
By the finale, Kelsey was absent, while Vinny’s parents were in attendance—a silent indicator of distance between them.
Kelsey Speaks: Setting Boundaries
Kelsey began distancing herself publicly. She unfollowed Vince on Instagram and commented on rumors surrounding his flirtations with Morgan:
“I never gave an OK to flirt as a strategy.”
She also clarified she would not speak to media outlets about the situation, signaling that her stance was firm and personal.

What Vince & Morgan Are Saying Now
Postgame, Vinny has taken a defensive tone, attempting to distance himself from wrongdoing. In interviews, he emphasized:
“We ran scenarios … it was platonic all the way through.”
Despite his claims, the revelations about his relationship with Kelsey and the emotional fallout continue to shape public perception of his honesty. His reputation among fans and jury members has suffered, with social media frequently revisiting the “cheatmance” narrative.
Morgan, meanwhile, maintains that their bond was strictly a “platonic game relationship.” She also clarified her perspective in interviews when asked about what “Option 1” meant:
“Ask Vince about that.”
While her comments seek to deflect criticism, they don’t fully erase the public impression that the emotional closeness in the house crossed standard friendship boundaries. Both Vince and Morgan now navigate a complicated post-show landscape: Vince grapples with the consequences of perceived betrayal, while Morgan balances her strategic integrity with the optics of alignment with someone many believe misled them.
At this moment, the relationship narrative remains murky. The emotional and strategic complexity of Vinny and Morgan’s bond will continue to be debated long after Big Brother 27 concludes.
What are your thoughts on their cheatmance? If it had been your girlfriend or boyfriend in the house, would you have been ok with their actions?

If I was Vinny’s girlfriend I would hook up with Morgan and leave Vinny in the dust.
Morgan would basically took over all of Vinnie’s time and space. I noticed that early on. She didn’t want anyone gett More time with him. I also noticed Vince had more fun hanging out with Lauren and Kelley being silly, etc. Then Morgan would come inside, pull him into a room and suck all the fun out of it! But I do think Vince needed to put Morgan in the friend zone with boundaries. There weren’t enough, in my opinion.
I’m glad Ashley won the final part of the last HOH competitions and evicted Morgan.
I think they are still together, one of her best friends posted on my YouTube page in one of the comments that she’s still with Vince. Read the comments. If you scroll down there’s a comment with 16 replies where she talks about Kelsey and Vince.

If she is still with Vince, that says a whole lot about her and so they’re probably made for each other then. Will and Keanu kept it strictly friendly with the females in the house and showed much respect for their SO’s..
No need to drag any of the HG’s loved ones. What goes for Rachel’s family also goes for every other person in any HGs life.
So true.
He probably owes her $50k and she wants her money back. Lol.
There are pics and videos today of Vinny and Kelsey out and about. There’s a misleading narrative that there is tension. You can see for yourself, they seem perfectly fine. Just google Vinny and Kelsey big brother 27. Updates pop up.
At one point as they stand by the car and talk, she moves around him to the other side and puts her hand on his arm for a moment and then turns to speak and smile at him.
Nothing in their body language is signaling any tension.
That doesn’t mean their private conversation was not strained.
But it’s not looking over and done or on the rocks.
Could be they have a mature relationship where they can actually discuss hurt feelings and a need to examine their relationship, without acting like frustrated children. Maybe she will end up leaving him at some point after she’s processed what he has to say in context of everything, but it is possible they will work it out.
You guys ever watch Couples Therapy? Crap happens, yet stuff can still be resolved, or at least end with reasoned closure.
It is immature to slam the door, refuse to speak and stomp off into your own sunset after a long relationship that seemed to be working.
I do think Jimmy is a major shit who really fanned the flames of this story and then put up a tiktok after finale to say he filled in Rachel that Kelsey had ghosted Vinny. He might have said specifically that Kelsey had left him. What?. None of us ever knew that for certain. WIth her BF being an idiot and attention getting on her, it was prudent to shut down all social media, including Vinny’s which would be full of harassing statements.
Kelsey is in the same category of loved one not to be dragged, just like Rachel’s family. Yet she’s also gotten hate and I already see people saying she’s an idiot to stay with him. Yet the same people were upset with Kelley about even implying anything about Rachel’s kids.
People do awful things to each other in romantic relationships and yet we don’t burn them at the stake. Many of our own friends, family, co-workers. No one deserves harassment.
I agree. WE may not like to be treated the way we feel Vinny treated Kelsey. However, we are not her, or him. And we don’t know the ins and out of their relationship. It’s odd how we all say what we would’ve done….so there’s essentially every BB watcher saying they’re wrong lmao that being said, Vinny has been a bit creepy all show, Dan was manipulating, but not in a creepy way.
Amen.
We’ve reached that moment post game where the houseguests try to persuade or trick us into thinking what we saw with out own eyes was not real.
We were just friends?
The minute or more long hugs.
Asking “do you think your friends will like me?”
Sleeping in the same bed for weeks on end.
Offering “my parents are going to love you.”
Talking about the outside of the house options.
Talking about outside of the house plans between the two of them.
Now that it is viewed EXACTLY as it was…
oh we were just friends.
No, you just didn’t screw on camera. Emotional infidelity being what it is… likely should have because the effect is the same.
The behavior was not just friends.
It certainly wasn’t respectful to the girlfriend in question. It was embarrassing and humiliating.
But… gotta fix those images with a new iteration of the classic ‘you don’t see everything’ type sentiment.
Post season and I’m still saying OWN YOUR SHIT to these asshats.
Weasel cheater and his skank were so dumb they didn’t just get caught… their entire cheatmance was filmed… and they knew it was being filmed.
If she had not been one of those ‘I want a showmance’ people, and he had not been an ethical wasteland of a human being… well he’d have won…. but besides that, we wouldn’t be treated to ‘oh we never crossed the line’ type shit. Where was the line? It certainly wasn’t where it should have been.
What we have to remember:
We got to know these people’s behaviors.
Did Morgan EVER take responsibility in the game for her part? Let’s pick an example. Lauren nominates Morgan after Morgan lies about picking Kelley for the maze, instead picking Rachel. A logical result of betrayal in that big brother situation. Does Morgan own it? No. Lauren is jealous and wants to get rid of Morgan is her ONLY response 10,000 times she says it without seeing A led to B.
This example is symbolic of EVERY situation where Morgan was going to have to take ownership for her behavior having consequences. And look.. what is she doing.
We saw Vince. We saw Vince run from accountability and ownership of his choices instead pulling ‘i’mjustalittleguydontchaknow’ bullshit how many times? And now it’s the same bullshit only he’s saying it in a post season interview so he is therefore saying it to US.
Really? Given his behavior. Given his tendency to tell the same type of lie repeatedly thinking he can emotionally manipulate and not get caught after he just got caught? Really? no. Reallllly??
NOPE. NOPE. NOPE.
Accept ownership of the consequences of your behavior, take some accountability and go the hell away. Dipshits.
Post game I think every HGs is entitled to try to maintain privacy regarding their personal relationships, if for no other reason that it involves a loved one.
Anyway it’s foolish to play out one’s relationship in public. We can say he did that already, yet that doesn’t mean he owes the public more. We are not the ones he or Morgan need to own up to. We’ll have to just be satisfied to be voyeurs. I am very interested in what happens with VInny and Kelsey but I don’t deserve any bit of ownership of his questionable BB house behaviors. I will look for clues and hints, lol.
Morgan needs to just keep her mouth as shut as possible about it as anything she says just fans the flames that burn towards Kelsey’s private life. Anything she says will further complicate the conversations that Kelsey and Vinny need to have. The third party involved in a relationship crisis in never included in the therapy sessions, she needs to be out of the narrative. What he does in terms of his relationship with Morgan going forward could be very complicated for him and Kelsey to figure out.
HGs can choose to expose themselves on television and possibly make fools of themselves without realizing it, but also have a right to tell everyone to go F-off after the fact as it’s none of our business.
I give the guy credit for going home and avoiding the after parties. I understand that was also self-serving as he wants to avoid the heat, but that didn’t stop Riley. BB world socializing is a big bonus for players. I think he is genuinely that decent little guy and he got his head back into reality once he got out of the house.
I see it in contrast to Dr Will who dialed into his professional respectability persona while talking to Julie on his Season 7 eviction, vastly different from the full season bad impish boy who had gotten too enamored with Janelle. Although I’ve always enjoyed Dr Will, I am not kidding myself. He’s not of great character. He’s that classically spoiled F-boy who curated an image for his career and such. I do think he also matured but he gets no pass from me for his ‘boys will be boys’ behaviors.
He crossed the line to exploitative and selfish from the starting gate of telling a girl you’re using romantically in a game that you have cancer. Whaaaat? A med school student who knows as a very sharp handsome male that he can get away with anything, instead of feeling he’s high stakes real life and doesn’t want to show that asshole side of himself to his career mentors? Yet we love this guy.
I think Vinny is a way more decent guy than Dr Will. He is very mentally/emotionally weak and he lies to himself all the time. I won’t say he lies pathologically IRL to others as we really don’t know and I don’t think we can extrapolate from a game or lying to the public. Could be he’s been a very good relationship partner but does not have his own personal boundaries in life (under pressure you can walk all over him, he will give too much to you, he’s an amoeba), and in the magnified BB house he lost all sense of reality and self. It might be that he’d never ever be in a sort of situation or mindset that could even start him on a path to a real life Morgan.
He’d have been around age 27 when he started a committed relationship, probably over the moon at how special and beautiful his GF is. It could be a relationship arc where deep down he felt he never really dated much back when maybe he was more awkward and lacked confidence around women.
But in any case that it their business to dissect his actions. I think Jimmy seriously distorted what Vinny told him about the relationship being troubled, and it might have been more of a passing comment that it’s not easy to be in a relationship and has its ups and down. I contrast what Jimmy says to the letter Vinny got on his first HOH. Of course the letter will be positive in public but there was a lot more gushing out that was very genuine.
Something was working very well in that relationship and the GF deserves grace that she’s not just an idiot who was fooled for years and years by Vinny. I know you didn’t say that was the case about her, I’m just elaborating.
I am going to be real me not the character voice I use for writing for this:
I don’t want to be part of their private lives. I don’t care about them now that the season is over (if i ever cared about them at all).
Usually when a season is over I read the post season interviews and the houseguests cease to be in my thoughts until next season when I am reminded.
What eats me right now isn’t the relationship.
What I was trying to say was not let’s all stare in the bedroom windows now that the season is over.
That was not my point.
What annoyed me then?
Going to media and attempting very obvious gaslight spin control.
THAT is what annoyed me.
I have repeatedly called out the behavior this season for a reason; it was not out of some moral pearl clutching sense of decency (Don’t have any pearls and some would say i don’t have much in the way of a moral compass either). We’d seen enough to know that there was no shot they were going to own their behavior so I called out the behavior every chance i got knowing full well we’d be treated to dinner and a show at the gaslight cinema once the season was over.
Simple answer they should have been giving?
Yeah, pressure cooker and everything is amplified, sorry if anyone was offended. There. Done. Owned but spun enough that responsibility isn’t taken as much as sympathy is offered to those offended.
Of course they were going to attempt to tell us that what we saw was not what we saw. That is obvious in the way that production debriefs the houseguests with media crisis management handlers (Riley exit interviews being the obvious nod this season). Remember the evicted houseguests post debrief of 24 all saying they loved Taylor? How eyerollingly bullshit it felt to hear it given the evidence to the contrary we witnessed all summer? It is the way that the debrief and crisis management team works in big brother. Deny, lie, rewrite the narrative hoping nobody will call bullshit in rebuttal.
I’m not a fan of the gaslight thing we get post season.
I don’t care about their private lives… go live them.
Just don’t obviously lie in interviews about the season we watched on feeds.
THAT is where I will rehash every documentation and say naaaaah…. quit lying to try to manipulate the audience, and go live your life.
I understood what you were saying that it’s not about prying into private lives. I tried to delineate that it’s about the issue of owing viewers such personal accountability.
I don’t think the HGs owe us an ounce of ownership on house behaviors that look like character flaws ,especially as they impact life relationships. Just as we don’t owe that to the peripheral people in our life spheres.
We all lie to maintain not just image but true boundaries. We slip up, we try to do damage control and cut the narrative, move on and hopefully take care of our messes for ourselves.
I can’t even imagine watching any HG come out and say yeah, I crossed physical and emotional boundaries in the house and I should have known better. I will have to figure out my shit.
That is just pure unhealthy self-punishment. I can just hear the voice of my former therapist (who discharged me in 2022 for having enough skills to go on my own in life without her…..) “and why did you make that choice” (to fess up to the public)? Her voice serves as pings in my brain of knowing what she’d be thinking, and reminding myself to keep within that guidance. Sometimes it relates to other people’s messes.
If nothing else, social media is a mob mentality where that ‘confession’ would fan the flames.
But even if he could live in magical bubble to avoid that, the rest of my argument stands that it’s not a reasonable expectation and actual quite poor judgement for any HG to do that after the fact.
Gaslighting is an overused descriptive these days. A megalomaniac political figure with an attuned propaganda machine is doing gaslight spin on his cult followers every single damn day.
A regular person on national TV is not of that status or influence and it is of no harm to any of us that he, what, tries to ‘fool us’ by not baring open his big personal screw up? Why would anyone do that, even to their own neighbors who happened to see him looking a bit too cozy (rubbing arms, say) with the coworker at lunch, say? Get out!
He’s just maintaining privacy and human self-respect. Yes, I do think he has self-respect and it’s up to him and his GF to decide how that held up in the BB house.
Exactly. Gaslighting has just become an accepted way of life for a lot of people.
Kelsey girl you can find someone much better
Quick question, do any of you watch the new TAR season? Every single team has a previous BB contestant racing with their family members
Enzo and Angela are already out lmao
I hope she bleeds him dry of all his winnings as emotional compensation.
Having read & then reread each of these posts & those that follow Simon’s collection in Dawg’s, I was initially ambivalent, drawn to both sides of the conversation.
At first, my natural tendency to overemotionalism saw un autre nom’s point. Having invested both my time & my emotion into this season, as with every season, I wanted some closure of my own on the Vince-Kelsey-Morgan saga. As another name put it, a simple statement of “the pressure cooker messed with me & I didn’t mean to offend anyone ” or words to that effect.
But then, juliesfashionfails posts hit me like a gut punch & I realized that she’s right. No cast member ever owes the public a damn thing. My desire for Vince to “own” his BB behavior is selfish on my part. The only thing the cast member owes is to those who hired her or him, the producers, mainly Alison Grodner. And all that they owe Grod is to do the job they were each hired to do.
Once the season ends & they return to their real lives, their obligations cease. They’re free to choose what to do from then on. They can be publicity hogs or hermits. Whatever each decides is perfectly acceptable behavior.
As juliesfashionfails put it so well, it’s their life, NOT ours!
