Nomination night, and Drew spends it collecting reassurance from the two people least able to give it honestly. First in the storage room with Kamu, where his real complaint comes out: Haley gave him zero heads up, told him she needed a pawn to “blur lines,” and then said that if she won the veto she wouldn’t pull him off — which, as Drew works out loud, “means I am a nominee and not a pawn.” He asks Kamu straight up whether he’d use the veto on him if he won it. Kamu says yes twice, calls it a weird and tricky position, and tells him to go win the thing. Drew keeps pushing: “I know you want to, but will you?”
Then upstairs, where Haley sells him the same story from the other side — the pawn blurs the lines, it helps everyone, it gets his feet wet for a physical next week. Drew admits he’s nervous but figures he’s the least nervous of the three “because I have my squad,” and leaves saying there’s no bad blood and it makes the most sense.
The night winds down in the lounge with Mallory recounting the BB16 shaved-head punishment, Drew asking Melody whether she’d shave her head for him, and Melody flatly saying no. After he goes to bed, Melody tells Mallory about a Nine Inch Nails song stuck in her head — the one about would rather die than give you control.
Storage Room – Drew and Kamu
Drew – I just want to give her (Melody) space. Kamu – She was pretty bummed? Drew – that its both of us yeah. She thinks one of us is going. I was like yeah it does suck. I have to image, I hope the Tool Shed is going to pull through. Kamu – I would imagine between the two of you. You think Taylor is just left there as a third? Drew – I have no idea why Taylor is up there. The weirdest part for me was that she gave me zero heads up. And she said she was busy. Kamu – beforehand? Drew – yeah. She said I need a pawn. And I was like why do we need a pawn? She was like, to blur lines. And then I was thinking about it and I was like she is probably going to put me up. Kamu – did you assume Melody? Drew – I assumed it was Melody. I just wanted her (Haley) to be straight up and be like I’m putting you up as a pawn. And I would have been… I’ve already been a good sport about it. I trust the Tool Shed bro. I just think when you’re in an alliance and you’re putting someone up as a pawn, like I would tell her but there was just nothing. And I figured out the same time all of you guys did. And she says if she wins veto, she is not pulling me off.. Which means I am a nominee and not a pawn. Kamu – well you could still be a pawn she is just trying to not backdoor. Kamu – anybody. But if in her head she’s like, it doesn’t matter, because either you’re going to put either you’re going to win the veto, you’re going to put yourself off at the blockbuster, or worse comes to worse, you’re sitting next to somebody. We have the votes to keep you. Drew – I should feel really safe but obviously. Kamu – Dude, If I were you, I would the exact same way. Drew – all I needed was a little reassurance. Kamu – and she couldn’t even give you that? Drew – a little bit but I needed more. Drew – if you won the veto would you use it on me? Kamu – I think I would bro. Drew – Like are you sure? You would piss Haley off though. Kamu – I know that’s the thing. Because she I would imagine doesn’t want to put up a fourth. She is saying she would keep the noms the same. But dude of course I want to take you off. Its a weird position. Its a tricky position. Drew – I am just curious because it means more now. Than like if I pulled your chip and we were like okay what are we doing? Kamu – Dude straight up I want to use the veto. If I were to win the veto, I would want to use it on you. Drew – would you though? Cause I know you want to, but will you? Because it puts you in a weird position because she would have to put someone else up. She did say if I win it we would consider a backdoor option but it was an after thought. Then she said I am keeping them the same and then she thought about it and was like its probably not the right thing to say to somebody in my alliance. I don’t think she is gunning for me. I would be really surprised. Kamu – Dude that is why I am conflicted.
Kamu – Yeah, go freaking win the veto. Drew – Dude, I really hope I can do it. Kamu – And honestly, bro, like Melody. I love her, which is not a good competitor. Drew – No, she’s competed so many times and he’s never even gotten close to it. I love her. I love her, but it would be the one time.
10:35pm HOH room – Drew and Haley
Haley – I gave the same scenario to everyone. This is why I still don’t know anything of like, what I mean, I had to like again, who would be a better competitor? And also to get your feet a little bit more wet, for physical or for next week coming up like that would be great for next week for sure. And so again it just, it blurs the lines and it helps everyone at the end of the day. Drew – Exactly, its like I really shouldn’t feel like I’m going to be honest with you. I am a little nervous. I’m on the block so if anyone tells you Drew’s nervous. Haley – no its fine but I mean like I expect it. Drew – so if anyone tells you that Drew is nervous.. true because I am. But I am probably the least nervous of the three because I should be .. because I have my squad. Haley – yeah. Drew – I know its going to suck if I win veto, its going to put you in a weird spot. Haley – yeah because then I don’t know, but I would never ask anyone to not use it. That’s stupid. Drew – Yeah, that’s stupid. I think
it’d be cool to win it for me, just like on a personal level. Haley – But then it also shows you too of like are you gonna save Melody or are you going to save yourself. I expect you to use it on yourself. I expect anyone to use it on themselves. Drew – it would be so dumb for me to like f**king shoot myself in the foot. Just cuz I didn’t watch a whole bunch of seasons, but I’m like well Tucker did it with Angela and Tucker did it again with somebody else. So again I’m here to actually like play the game. I don’t ever want to ride anybody, and like do the whole and we already talked about that but no, again, out of everybody, I think you would again just be the best. I just wish personally we would have had more time, to talk. Drew – I agree and I think it’s fine. I want to let you go because I know you’re tired and I have to go shower. But, no bad blood. And it does make the most sense. Like I thought about it, I was like, I already told you when making no sense. He put Chuck, make no sense. He put common. Yeah.
11:03pm The feeds are blocked..
11:15pm Lounge Room – Melody, Mallory and Drew
They hanging out and chatting. Mallory brings up season 16 there was the shave your head punishment. Mallory – I think it was Caleb and Victoria from season 16. They had a shave head thing, but obviously Caleb did it. Drew – Not Victoria. Mallory – They were like stuck as a duo. It was like one of you has to shave your head. Drew to Melody – Like, would you, would you shave your head for me? Melody – No.
11:54pm Drew heads to bed. Melody to Mallory – Do you know the band Nine Inch Nails? Mallory – no. Melody – They have a song called I would rather die than give you control. That’s how I feel. Like stuck in my head. They finish up in the bathroom and head to bed.

the reason we have been getting these five to eight minute feed blocks for the last little bit.
It’s trolling.
Production is trolling because Drew’s comment earlier in the day about an hoh takeover and flip a coin to decide pawn added to his long term cam traveling to different allies to figure out who knew what and who his real friends are….
They are now playing with feed viewers that have become convinced any minute the HOH is going to be overturned.
Drew got the foot cam Devens got last week.
Drew has been talking about powers to an awful lot of people the same way Devens did.
This means…. either there will be an coin flip or there won’t be a coinflip and prodo is playing with the viewers getting a houseguest to make a suggestive comment in order to play in the feed viewers faces.
The only other possibility of acknowledgement came during a chat Dee was having about crushes or something and then she blew a kiss at the cam and made a heart symbol.
However. She did not tell Devens in any of their convos and told Angela she didn’t get it. This is Dee however who would not share the info. She’d hide her advantage for as long as possible. That is who she is.
Who knows.

A fundamental tenet of Big Brother is telling someone what they want to hear, however, there should be an attempt at making the lie sound credible otherwise both parties sound like idiots. Try to make it believable. We already think you’re stupid, there’s no need to prove it.
Can someone tell me what show Devens thinks he’s on? Does he think this is Survivor where he can just pull stunts, make ‘entertaining TV’, and not actually strategize to win. He’s not even trying to play despite being handed every advantage. He hands his entire game to Dee who has Red Corner and Angela at her back while he completely dropped the ball with Drew and Barrett who he should have been managing. Grod completely set him up for an ideal position in the house and he did nothing with it.
Rome went home under his HoH. He exposed Jason. He had Drew & Barret figured out a week ago. He broke up a showmance and started the crumbling of the opposite side of the house. Everybody seems to like him. He’s won an HoH and a veto. It’s been mentioned by multiple that sitting by him in the end may be the best move because nobody’s going to give home the money. He’s probably playing as good or better than anyone right now.
I don’t know about nobody giving him the money. I’d say there’s a much better chance that nobody will give DEE the money, since she’s already won a million on Survivor. Devon has played twice and hasn’t won squat.
The only thing I know for sure is BB juries are unpredictable, as far as who they award the money to. Several times the “best player” didn’t win, for different reasons, and of course the “best player” is also a matter of opinion. But sometimes it just seems obvious who the better player is, and they don’t win for whatever reason. Based on results so far this season, the winner has to come from the Tool Shed alliance, but that could change as the season progresses.
She was talking about the other houseguests saying that, underlining her valid point that Rick is playing better than all the rest.

Angela and Haley decided to put up Taylor before she became HOH. Angela has come up with all sorts of conspiracy theories about Taylor based on her own paranoid feelings. She saw her holding up 5 fingers and spun it into her campaigning for Jason. Haley doesn’t like Taylor because Kamu does. Also Taylor doesn’t treat Angela like the icon she thinks she is.

Can we just say that Haley’s nominations aren’t based on gameplay but based on her own bitterness?
Drew is up because Angelanoia. Angela and Haley are like funhouse mirror reflections of each other.
Melody is up because they don’t like each other. Also… her issue with other women. It does very much seem like there was talk when feeds first came on that Haley marked her territory and with that the two started disliking each other.
Taylor is up because microaggression added to strong hatred and jealousy of other women
NOW… her choices of women. Week one there was talk that Melody was getting flirtatious comments from Kamu. week 2 Kamu was flirting with Taylor to try to pull her in. Now her renom choice is leaning to Lyric the house flirt who has been flirting with both Kamu and Chuk.
Haley the girls girl. Nobody better try to get between her and all the men.
As far as the microaggressions… don’t. Haley makes enough of them frequently enough that i can barely call them micro. And don’t but Chuk at me. She’s even talked about not trusting him about ten times.
Are Taylor and Melody strong threats to the Red Corner? Compwise no. Strategically not much. It’s not because they are comp threats or strategic threats. It’s projection of Haley’s personal issues.
Haley is the main mean girl and she’s trying to project on the others. The amount of times she has to say how kind she’s being just goes to show that at her core, she has no kindness towards the other women.
As you usually do, once again you hit the nail squarely on the head.
HOW DREW LOST DEVENS:
Remember Monday night
Angela went to Kamu to throw Drew under the bus after JUST being told by Dee to cool it with the Drew stuff until next week.
Of big concern was ‘did Drew say Red Corner?’
Kamu came out with Angela to the hammock to join Dee.
When Dee learned Angela had overyapped the two of them were trying to confuse Kamu to undig the hole.
By the end of the night Angela was pulling barely awake Devens into the toilet stall and spiraling at him.
Next day Dee gave Devens the… new version that protected Angela and bused Drew.
Kamu went to Devens and gave the undug hole version of what happened.
And Devens comes to the conclusion Drew is toast.
Devens was already buying what Angela was pushing because Dee was telling him and Devens trusts Dee to be his strategic brain… but was at the we test him phase. That’s gone.

SIMON: re: The Wall. I know that everyone does/doesn’t like all the contestants in this game. For me, I only vote for those I like, don’t vote for the others. Just wondering how people would feel if we could only vote for those still in the house. This might give a better picture of how we all feel about how the remaining ones are playing, or not playing the game. I personally liked Rome and Jason but they’re gone so they don’t get any votes from me. There are some active ones that will never get a vote from me.
You are certainly entitled to your own opinion, but so are the rest of us.
BB allows America to vote for ANY cast member for AFP and I, for one, am glad Simon & Dawg do the same for The Wall.
