Big Brother 28 spoilers: Haley won the BB Blockbuster, Chuk was evicted 9-1 with only Haley voting to keep him, and Yash won the Head of Household. He had his room by 2:00 am and company by 2:19.
Taylor came up first, and Yash gave her three names he says he’s telling only her and Kamu: Haley, Dee and Angela. The reasoning is tidy – everyone wants Haley gone, Dee and Angela lied about the vote, and Dee nominated him in Week 1, so nobody questions it. Then he spent the next fifteen minutes arguing with himself about it. Putting Haley up front costs him a relationship he doesn’t think he needs to lose; backdooring her costs him more if it fails; leaving her off entirely means crossing ten people. “The house is calling for your head” is the line he lands on for her.
Taylor’s position was simpler: take the backdoor. “She gonna be hot. She hot right now. And she not a have-not no more.” She also came armed – Jason told her before he left that Haley had warned him off working with Yash because Yash is messy, which becomes the excuse for killing the alliance Haley had proposed to the two of them the day before. Taylor’s own verdict on that offer: “she done spit in my face like five times.”
“The house is calling for your head.”
— Yash, on what he may tell Haley
Worth noting for later: they spend a stretch planning around flushing a power they believe Dee is holding. Dee isn’t.
Melody came up twenty minutes later and brought the piece Yash didn’t have. Devens had spent the week arguing that Lala bullied Haley and that Haley should be kept because of it. From there the two of them worked through why the house has started feeling sorry for her at all – Yash: “if a bad person has bad things happen to them, how are we feeling pity?” Melody’s answer is more generous and more damning at once: it’s the only play Haley has left, it’s working, and she’d be doing exactly the same thing.
Melody’s read on the week that just ended is the harshest thing either of them says, and it isn’t about Haley. It’s about the outgoing HOH.
BB28 Time Capsule tally
The BB Time Capsule is a multi-week America’s Vote twist running Weeks 2 through 7. Each week America votes one houseguest into the capsule, that houseguest plays alone, and they come out with either a power or a punishment. One trip each – once you’ve been in, you’re out of the pool.
Three powers, two punishments, two weeks still to come.
- Week 2 — Angela. Lost. Spent the week in the Hard-Boiled Detective costume.
- Week 3 — Devens. Won the Diamond Power of Veto — pull a nominee off the block and name the replacement yourself, with the HOH cut out of the decision. Good for six weeks. Still unused.
- Week 4 — Dee. Won the BB Bribe. $5,000 offered to one houseguest in exchange for an action that helps her game. Valid to the end of the season, and the target can turn it down.
- Week 5 — Mallory. Lost. Tethered to Melody for the Adam and Eve punishment.
- Weeks 6 and 7 — still to come.

2:00 am Yash get his HOH Room

2:19 AM – Yash and Taylor (HOH Room)
Yash: “I guess I don’t need any of this shit.”
Taylor: “You think you’re gonna talk to people tonight?”
Yash: “Seems like everyone’s just trying to go to sleep, which, like, I’m kind of cool with.”
Taylor: “What time is it?”
Yash: “2:19. Dude, this shit’s so fire, bro. That’s crazy.”
Taylor: “I’m sure you probably already know who you’re gonna put up.”
Yash: “I can’t say that, but I’m thinking, I’m thinking, I’m thinking. I know.”
Taylor: “Considering.”
Yash: “Here’s my logic. And I think I’m going to only tell you and Kamu.”
Yash: “I’m considering. Haley, Dee and Angela.”
Yash: “The logic there is everyone wants Haley gone. Angela and Dee were on the wrong side of that vote and they did the whole lying thing. I can easily be like, you guys had the opportunity to tell me about the vote and you didn’t. Dee put me up Week 1. No one’s going to be like, what are you doing? Those three, put them up.”
Yash: “Is what I’m thinking. What are your thoughts?”
Taylor: “It’s your HOH.”
Yash: “No, because you said Haley was considering working with you.”
Taylor: “Okay, so -“
Yash: “I think she’s desperate.”
Taylor: “She’s definitely desperate, because she done spit in my face like five times. You all know I’ve always tried to work with her, be cordial with her, and then she does this thing where she’s playing nice with me, and then she kicks me in my face a hundred times.”
Taylor: “Yesterday, she told me she wanted to talk, and she said, well, I’m still down for an alliance with you and Yash.”
Taylor: “Haley is – I can’t trust her anymore, because she done slapped me in my face a hundred times. I can’t.”
Taylor: “But do you think that she can go home before this Blockbuster thing is over?”
Yash: “Yeah. I think if you put someone in the fire long enough, they burn. They can come out once. They can come out twice.”
Taylor: “But you don’t think she can beat Dee and Angela in a Blockbuster? Dee is a little slow.”
Yash: “Yeah, Dee’s not good at comps, really.”
Taylor: “I’m not calling her dumb.”
Yash: “No, no. She takes her time. She actually does.”
Taylor: “Yeah, she takes her time. And Blockbusters are fast.”
“I think if you put someone in the fire long enough, they burn. They can come out once. They can come out twice.”
— Yash, on Haley
Yash: “I also don’t think Haley would put me up. Which is like – but I don’t want to not put her up. And then that whole half of the house gets pissed. Because I was up here saying, yeah, we all should do that.”
Yash: “And then even if I say the plan is to backdoor her, I still have to pick a third person, which would have to be someone from that crew. And I feel like, who could it even be at that point?”
Yash: “Melody. But at that point, if I put Melody up, it is so cemented that I don’t f— with her, when that’s not even the case. She’s just the bottom of my barrel. That would create an enemy.”

Taylor brings up something Melody said during a house game.
Taylor: “But you heard her comment today during the game. Did you pick up on it?”
Yash: “Mm-mm. What’d she say?”
Taylor: “She said, I’m gonna put up the two people who went against me last week. So she’s holding on to that.”
Yash: “Oh, she did say that? I didn’t clock that.”
Taylor: “Yeah, that’s why she put you and Dee up next to each other. So she’s holding on to that, and I think if she was HOH, she would put you up.”
Yash: “I think so, too, that she would put me up.”
Yash: “But if I put up Melody, Angela, Dee – backdoor Haley.”
Taylor: “You don’t want to put up Drew. You cool with Drew.”
Yash: “Yeah, I’m cool with Drew.”
Taylor: “You rebuilding your trust with Drew. That’s good.”
Taylor: “So I’m thinking, let me go on Yash brain. Yash probably going to go Drew, Melody, Dee. But then you pissed both of them off. You’re pissing off Mallory and Barrett. So you got four people coming in. Which is like not worth it almost.”
Taylor: “Because you can tell Drew, you’re not my target, but you put him and his girl up. So what the f— that mean?”
Yash: “And I think if I package it to Haley as if I’m going after the other two, I would tell Haley, look, those two girls outwardly lied. They lied to me, they lied to Chuk, they lied to Kamu, and they lied to you about the vote.”
Yash: “And I’ll say, look, I’m putting them two up, but I need a seat to fill, and I need a story to tell.”
Yash: “I’ll say, hey, you’re a pawn. I just need it to be known that that’s the type of shit – I’ll say it better, but that’s the type of shit. I don’t see a place for lying in the game.”
Yash: “And I’ll say, listen, you’re a pawn, but for you to go up next to them two, it’s easy for you to win.”
Taylor: “I’m giving you two chances.”
Taylor: “And based off the conversations in the house, everybody want the Icons -“
Yash: “Yeah. That’s what I’m saying. People in the house want the Icons out.”
Taylor: “And I also think Dee has the power.”
Yash: “We could flush it.”
Taylor: “So who would you put up if Dee comes off? That’s the thing. Then you have to put up Drew.”
Yash: “But at that point, it’s not that deep, because a power was used to do it.”
Taylor: “So who are you going to put up, though? Barrett, Drew, Melody. Melody, right?”
Yash: “It has to be. It has to be. But then at least it’s a little bit less of a problem, because the power is what did it.”
Yash: “But I’ll say literally my hands are tied. My hands are tied. For who I can put up. There’s not a lot of options for me.”
Yash: “But I feel like I’m cool with it. Like, let’s run it. And that’s a big three to go up.”
Taylor: “That is a big three.”
Yash: “But it’s time for two of them to sniff the block. And the other one, if she goes, good. If she stays, maybe I’ll stay on her good side.”
Taylor: “Who?”
Yash: “Haley.”

Taylor: “So what you gonna do about this alliance we were supposed to have? How you going to say you want to do it now?”
Taylor: “I just said, you done spit in my face so much, Haley. If you don’t want to work with me, just say you don’t want to work with me. We don’t have to work together. Stop saying things as if you want to work with me and then keep doing shit to me. Since day one I went to work with you and you keep doing shit. And I’m not doing shit to you. If anybody has a reason to not like you or to talk about you, it’s f—ing me.”
Yash: “That’s why I’m just not even gonna address it. She’s gonna come in here and ask and I’ll be like, me and Taylor haven’t talked about it.”
Taylor: “Well, I’m up here with you now.”
Taylor: “Alright, let’s think of an excuse.”
Yash: “Let’s think of an excuse. Let’s work together and think of an excuse.”
Taylor: “You don’t think she’s going to win one of these next two HOHs?”
Yash: “It’s luck, bruh.”
Taylor: “You might have to backdoor her.”
Taylor: “And then if one of them three comes up – Melody, Dee, Angela, right? Dee got that damn power.”
Yash: “But we’re banking on Dee having a power.”
Taylor: “But even if Dee doesn’t have a power, it’s fine. Because if one of us wins veto, whatever you decide to veto.”
Yash: “Then you put up Angela. Or then you put up Haley.”
Taylor: “Then you can take one of them off and put Haley up. Or you can leave it, because once again, Dee did put you up. So once again, if one of the Icons go home, you save face.”
Yash: “I would rather see Haley and Angela go home than Dee. Because Dee’s, like, kind of dead weight. She’s just chilling. Harmless.”
Taylor: “And that’s how she won the first time.”
Yash: “Yeah, but we could cut that later. Angela and Haley are just messy, bro. I don’t f— with that shit.”
Yash: “The backdoor is interesting.”
Taylor: “Because what if she wins veto?”
Yash: “But if I backdoor her, then she has more reason to actually not trust me. As opposed to if I’m up front with her to begin with. I still think it’s reparable.”

Taylor: “I got an excuse. I just thought about it.”
Yash: “What is it?”
Taylor: “Jason, before Jason left, he told me that he was talking to Haley about how to do better in the game, and Haley told him, don’t work with Yash because Yash is messy.”
Taylor: “So you could say, Jason told me that you said that I’m messy when you were giving him advice on how to play the game. So it makes me think that you don’t really trust me. You’re just desperate right now.”
Yash: “Yeah, I could. That’s a good thing to pull back, because I could say that to her and it’s valid.”
Yash: “Talking to her, I’m going to have to think about how to talk to her.”
Taylor: “Because she holds on to everything. She’s an eye for an eye type of person.”
Yash: “Yeah, clearly.”
Taylor: “She says she’s not emotional, but she’s emotional.”
Yash: “Super emotional, I know.”
Taylor: “And putting up – we’re just talking it through. If you put up Angela, would that just prove that Chuk was right? Did you say that to Chuk, that you would put Angela up?”
Yash: “Mm-mm.”
Taylor: “You never said that? Okay, so when you tell Angela, you could just say, I never said I would put you up, but the idea that Chuk lied on me and said that I would put you up – now it makes me feel like you would put me up, because you don’t trust me. I’m just beating you to the punch.”
Yash: “Exactly. That’s what I’m going to say with her. And I’m also just going to talk about that vote.”
Taylor: “What’s that vote got to do with you? She owes you no loyalty to tell you the vote was flipping. I did.”
Yash: “That’s true. She didn’t owe me anything. She didn’t really have to tell me. You’re right.”
Taylor: “And Dee put you up.”
Taylor: “I just need a third person to put up.”
Yash: “So I would just tell Haley she’s the third. I’d make it seem like Dee put me up, I’m putting her up.”
Yash: “And then Haley – hey, Haley, your two closest allies were the ones who were lying about the votes and stirred things up a bit.”
Taylor: “Well, what did I got to do with Haley? It was her HOH. It gotta make sense.”
Yash: “They’re her closest allies.”
Taylor: “They’re not her closest allies anymore. Not Dee. I think she’s gunning for Dee now.”
Yash: “Yeah, but f— it. Just say that shit.”
Taylor: “I just told you that girl hold on to everything. So that’s not going to be a good enough excuse, because Dee is her target now. She said it.”
Yash: “Yeah, okay, you’re right. Because I don’t think Haley would put me up if she won. I don’t think she would. So me putting her up – what’s she gonna say?”
Taylor: “I know this girl. I watch. This girl gonna say, but I didn’t put you up.”
Yash: “Yeah, and I didn’t make you the renom.”
Taylor: “I’ll say, you promised me. That was a promise.”
Taylor: “So it’s obvious that me and her, this girl can’t work together. And it is what it is.”
Yash: “Yeah. I can’t work with this girl.”
Taylor: “I don’t trust her anyway, but I just really think she’s gonna win one of these vetoes or the Blockbuster. I’d rather you backdoor her, I’m not gonna lie. Just saying, because she gonna be hot. She hot right now. And she not a have-not no more.”

Yash: “I’m gonna consider the backdoor for sure, but I don’t want to pitch her off too much, because there’s a realm where that just makes two new enemies when I might have zero just being upfront with her.”
Taylor: “Or you can just say the house.”
Yash: “Yeah, that’s what I’m saying. I’ll say the house is calling for your head. This is the house. I can be honest.”
Yash: “I’ll say, if I don’t put you up, I now cross 10 people. 10 people are now upset at me. And I’ll be like, I have reasons to distrust you as well.”
Taylor: “So what do you want to say about the alliance?”
Yash: “I’ll say right now it doesn’t make sense.”
Taylor: “You could say Taylor brought it to me and she was willing to do it, though. That way she don’t think I was – yeah. Taylor did bring it to me.”
Yash: “Taylor was down, but for me right now, it doesn’t make the most sense. I’m happy to keep our individual relationship open.”
Taylor: “I’m trying to get us to at least get to jury first.”
Yash: “Get us to jury.”
Taylor: “And then from jury, we rocking and rolling.”
Yash: “But the more you put someone in the fire, the higher the chance they get burned.”
Taylor: “Wow.”
Yash: “I think we just keep putting her in the fire.”
Taylor: “Same thing with Jason, same thing with Rome, same thing with Lyric. They all were backdoored, because when they were all put up first, they were able to get out.”

Taylor: “I’m gonna leave you to it, because it’s not my HOH. But you know, I’ll be watching and hearing and hearing and watching.”
Yash: “Yeah, I trust you with it fully.”
Taylor: “You need to start turning on that TV. All right, good night.”
Yash: “All right, good night.”
Taylor: “Congrats, brother.”
Yash: “Thank you.”
Taylor: “Love you.”
Yash: “Love you too, dog.”

2:40 AM – Yash and Melody (HOH Room)
Yash: “Sup, yo. I think everyone went to bed.”
Melody: “Thank you. Thank you.”
Melody: “Like, you had it coming, too, bro.”
Yash: “I know. I was due for it.”
Yash: “But now it’s like, I’m kind of glad most people want to talk tomorrow, because I’m like, this is the interesting part.”
Melody: “No, yeah, literally. And I don’t want to bug you. I literally just hopped in the shower and I didn’t see where, like, Mallory was. So I thought she was up here.”
Yash: “Nah, I honestly haven’t even thought about it too much.”
Melody: “Right.”
Yash: “I’m like, let me see what people are thinking, what people say, and then I go from there. Because I know it’s going to be late tomorrow.”
Melody: “Yeah, especially with how late this was.”
Yash: “But yeah, do you have any thoughts on, like, noms or anything, who you’d like to see up?”
Melody: “No f—ing clue, dude.”
Melody: “Even, like, today, with everything happening, I have no f—ing clue. Because, like, obviously I love you guys – you, Lala, Taylor, Drew, Mallory, Barrett.”
Yash: “Yeah, that crew.”
Melody: “I mean, you know what I mean. And I f— with Kamu, too. But, like, if they say they trust Kamu -“
Yash: “Cool. And I can, like, kind of see it.”
Melody: “Yeah. A little bit. No, same.”
Melody: “Obviously, like, you voted me out.”
Yash: “Yeah, I know.”
Melody: “Which, like, I know you were honest about that, too. So, like, I just want you to know, I appreciate you, too. And if I were to have won HOH, I would have just talked to you about that also. Because I know you’ve been hella honest about it. And, like, you’re not on my radar. I hope that’s obvious.”
Yash: “And I hope same that way, too. Like, that was purely just, they were saying that’s where the house was going.”
Melody: “And that’s how it was. Like, it literally switched, like, last second. Like, I barely even knew it was happening. I found out, like, less than an hour before eviction.”
Yash: “Yeah, and I had no idea that shit was going on.”
Melody: “So I just wanted to make sure. I was like, you know, you’re chill.”
Melody: “Like, I still have, like, two people in the house who have put me on the block. That’s two nominations right there. Yeah, there’s other options before you.”
Yash: “I know. And that’s what I’m thinking as well, where, like, I’d have to figure out a good way to do it. Take a swing.”
Melody: “Yeah.”
Yash: “In that general vicinity. I’d have to figure out how to do it.”
Melody: “And, yeah, have, like, a plan. I mean, duh, like, you know that. But, like, you can’t just, like, swing and then not have, like, something to do.”
Yash: “Exactly.”
Yash: “That’s why I want to hear, like, what people are thinking. Like, if you’ve heard anything that could help me make a decision, like, you let me know.”
Yash: “That’s what I want to have these conversations about. Just like, yeah, what are you hearing? What are you thinking?”
Melody: “I know, that’s what I’m interested in too. Cuz, like, I still – if it was Chuk and Haley, I thought it was still get Haley out. But I didn’t know if that was – I’m hella confused about that.”
Yash: “Who talked to you about that?”

Melody: “Dude, literally nobody. Well, actually, it was, like, Devens, Mallory – just Devens and Mallory in a room, and I was over there in the hot tub room. I was still, like, changing and getting ready, and they started kind of talking about it.”
Melody: “And that’s when, like, I think it was you, Taylor, and, like – okay, not Angela, but whoever. Kamu. Then we all, like, sat down. And I still had shit to do, so I was, like, kind of listening, but half doing my shit.”
Yash: “Yeah, yeah, yeah. I remember you, like, coming by in the locker and shit.”
Melody: “I know that Devens was kind of talking about how he felt like Lala bullied Haley this week. And he wanted to keep Haley because of that. And then, of course, Kamu. But, of course, Kamu and Haley are still like this. Which, I don’t blame them.”
“Literally, the HOH got to her head. HOH-itis is real as f—. All you had to do was chill out and none of this would have happened.”
— Melody, on Lala
Melody: “And, like, that’s what sucks. Because, like, I rock with Lala. Like, she took that swing and, like, I still respect her and, like, all of that. It just sucks because I’m like, dude, all you had to do was, like, not say anything.”
Melody: “Literally, the HOH got to her head. The HOH-itis, bro. Like, HOH-itis is real as f—. Like, I would just chill. Like, all you had to do was chill out and none of this would have happened.”
Melody: “And then you’re going off being like, they’re trying to f—ing flip the vote. And I’m like – wonder why.”
Melody: “Yeah, like, I’m still with you. I told her that. I said, I’m still with what I told you I was gonna do. But, like, what are you doing?”
Yash: “Yeah, agreed, bro.”
Melody: “You can’t be pissing everybody off like that. She was so dumb. Cuz now it’s like, now the house is even more f—ing confused, when it should have been – you know.”
Melody: “Even though Haley won and it wasn’t an option.”
Yash: “It’s still, like -“
Melody: “And then, yeah, you had that f—ing conversation for basically no goddamn reason.”
Yash: “And I’m like, how also is this a f—ing conversation? Because she’s still not a good person.”
Yash: “If a bad person has bad things happen to them, how are we feeling pity?”
Melody: “I’m so glad you said something like that.”
Yash: “She must have some magical aura.”
Melody: “I genuinely was like, there’s no f—ing way I’m the only person saying this right now.”
Yash: “Like, how do y’all feel bad? She’s been mean to all of my friends, right?”
Melody: “Right.”
Melody: “And, like, honestly, kudos to her. Because if I was her and I was in her position, I’d be doing the exact same thing that she’s doing, because obviously it’s f—ing working.”
Melody: “I’m like, bro, of course she’s going to play this type of, like, victim card, whatever, after all these people blow up on her, so that people are like, oh my God, like, I feel bad for her.”
Yash: “It’s the only route she has.”
Melody: “Right. And it’s like, do I feel bad for her? I am a human being. Like, I can understand. But no, bro. Like, that doesn’t change, like, all this other shit that she’s done.”
Melody: “And it’s like, Lala, I agree with you, but -“
Yash: “But you’re not fully in the right either.”
Melody: “You have to calm the f— down, though. Like, it’ll figure itself out.”
Yash: “I know. She was tweaking, bro.”
Yash: “And, like, that makes me think, too, like – Dee, Devens, they don’t f— with Lala.”
Melody: “Right. Like, even Angela, bro. I don’t think she f—s with her. Like, they did, but now I don’t think so.”
Melody: “And, like, again, all you had to do is be quiet. So that’s what makes it, I feel like, even trickier for you. Because I feel like whoever won HOH besides, like, them, it would have been super dynamic, because it’s like we had this, like, plan.”
Melody: “Which Lala set up. Like, cool, perfect. Like, obviously everybody run their own HOH, do whatever you want to do. But now it’s all f—ing – everybody f—ing all over the goddamn place again.”
Yash: “I’m like, how, bro? Like, how?”
Yash: “I know, I thought the same thing. I was like, you motherf—ers waited 30 minutes before? We had three days and I didn’t hear a peep. Same, you f—ers wait till all of a sudden -“
Yash: “That shit blows my shit, because, as you know, I’m a stick-with-the-plan guy, right? If the plan is this, f—ing this is the plan.”
Yash: “And in that case it worked to our benefit, right? But, like, I’m like, why are we waiting till 30 minutes before to have these conversations?”
Yash: “And I wonder where it started, too. Like, there’s, like, five of them.”
Melody: “No.”
Yash: “Yeah, like, all right, like, clearly -“

2:49 AM – Yash and Melody, continued (HOH Room)
Melody: “I feel the same way as I did three days ago. Like, my mind hasn’t changed.”
Melody: “I know Mallory was on the same page as us, too, because I talked to her after and I was like, bro, I’m still doing what I was planning on doing. And she was like, same.”
Melody: “Mallory was, like, in the middle of the conversation, but Mallory was, like, genuinely just asking. She was like, oh, are we still doing, like, the plan? And then that’s when people were like – well. And so Mallory was like, wait, what the f—?”
Yash: “I think Angela doesn’t truly rock with Lala.”
Melody: “I know. And she doesn’t truly rock with Haley.”
Yash: “Do you have any information on her?”
Melody: “I can, like, get down with Angela as a person. Like, she’s hella funny and shit. But even, like, coming – like, I watched her season and I didn’t love what I saw on her season. And she’s kind of doing similar shit. I was like, oh, I remember why I didn’t really vibe with her on her season.”
Melody: “She literally called Haley, like, every goddamn name in the book. I wasn’t even there, but that’s what I heard. And I could h ear it from downstairs. And then all of a sudden, you guys are best friends. That’s fine. I don’t give a f—. But also, like, where are you at then? Because, like, who are you with? So you’re only with the Icons?”
Melody: “And that’s a whole other issue. Because they have each other no matter f—ing what.”
Yash: “Period. That’s an issue.”
Melody: “Because that’s three people who have never been on the block, mind you.”
Yash: “I agree.”
Melody: “And they have that ability to do that because they’ve never been on the block or had to worry or feel the stress or feel the pressure. Or turn on each other, or whatever the f— it is.”
Melody: “So you can go blow up on Haley, be friends with her the next day, be best friends with Lala, all of a sudden not f— with Lala. Because you can do that.”
Yash: “And, like, a little bit of pressure turned her into what we know her as.”
Melody: “Exactly. F—ing exactly.”
Melody: “Because even, like, she came up to me – it was, like, me, Drew, Mallory sitting in the pod. We had left that conversation. I was like, I don’t want to be near this right now, because that’s when Lala was smacking the fan. I was like, dude, I don’t want to be a part of this.”
Melody: “And so Angela came in the room with us and she was like – we were like, what’s going on, basically. And she was like, I don’t know. But she’s like, I’m low-key down to keep Haley, though.”
Melody: “And I told Angela, I was like, you know I’m not doing that. Like, she put me on the block. I’ve been telling this plan. Mallory’s like, we’re not doing that.”
Melody: “And she was like, yeah, I wouldn’t expect you guys to. She’s just like, I feel like it might be better if we kept her. Because her and Lala have beef. And I was like, mmm. I’m not doing that.”
Melody: “Also, Haley is a strong competitor. She’s winning a lot of comps. She’s a great competitor, and people are falling for her goddamn victim card.”
Yash: “I fully agree, bro.”
Yash: “With that shit, it’s, like, so obvious, too. Like, I feel like if we were watching this shit from a third party, you could see the bad apples.”
Melody: “Yeah.”
Yash: “Like, you could see which ones have more rot.”
They move back to the vote and Chuk.
Yash: “So, dude, for me, Chuk was loyal.”
Yash: “Yeah, he went down with the ship. You know what I mean? He earned so many points with me. Just loyalty, you know?”
Yash: “And that’s what Haley was telling me all last week, too. She was like, I don’t know where we stand with anybody in this house. But she’s like, I think Yash is a dude that we should probably work with. Just because he’s just like, all right, this is what we’re doing. Let’s rock it.”
Yash: “And so I told her, I was like, Haley, I did not trust you. I thought you were lying to me. And then I didn’t know who to trust. That’s why I was pissed off at the Tool Shed.”
“She hugged me and she was like, glad you’re here. Can’t be seen with you. And then walked away.”
“Does she think this shit’s a movie, bro?”
— Melody, then Yash
Melody: “And then she lied to Mallory about how she was going to vote to keep Mallory. But it didn’t even matter, because Mallory was on the block. But we found out later.”
Yash: “That was when Mallory was going home. She didn’t win.”
Melody: “Mm-hmm. But they told her, like, she was gonna stay, though. And then that’s when she came up to me too, and we’re like, we think we’re down to keep you.”
Melody: “Because I know that about her too. When I was on the block, I genuinely did not know if I was going. Like, I was so confused. I had no f—ing clue what’s going on. Like, heart in my stomach.”
Melody: “And then after that happened, she came up to me and she hugged me and she was like, glad you’re here. Can’t be seen with you. And then walked away.”
Yash: “Does she think this shit’s a movie, bro?”
Melody: “And then it was just so funny to me, too, when there was, like, the five people being like, I voted Melody out, and then there was only three people. I genuinely was confused.”
Melody: “And then when you said something, and then Kamu told me too, and I knew Chuk. But I wasn’t gonna say nothing. Because I was like, you were able to put two and two together. But there was zero point in you saying it.”
Melody: “But it was cool, because I was like, okay, I f— with Yash. I already knew I f—ed with you. I know he’s telling me the truth.”
Yash: “Like, it was purely to not be on the wrong side.”
Melody: “No, which I would have done the same. Exactly. And the fact that you told me right away, too. It’s like, cool, I know we’re rocking with each other. I’ve always been honest with you.”
Melody: “Like, I just hope you know, there’s no bad blood for that, by the way. Like, if I was HOH, you weren’t going to be on my radar. I hope you know that.”
Yash: “During the comp, during this last comp, too, you were like, to the two people that went against me. I was like -“
Melody: “No, but I meant because, like, you and Dee. Because, like, put me up in the game. I didn’t mean it like that. I didn’t mean it like that.”
Yash: “That’s what I figured.”
Yash: “But no, I know. I have no idea what I want to do. And also, I’m dreading the conversations with them, because it’s like, I don’t want to f—ing talk to y’all, bro. I’m just going to try to get as much information out of them as I can.”
Melody: “I mean, that’s the smartest thing to do.”
Yash: “I have nothing to tell them. Nothing to tell them. Just, sounds good.”
Melody: “Nodding. Right, exactly. Sounds good.”
Yash: “So we’ll see. But, man, I don’t really know. I have no clue what I want to do. Well, not no clue. There’s a general direction. It’s just, like, how to go about it.”
Yash: “Also, Haley is a good ass competitor. So there needs to be a strategy in getting her out. Somebody needs to beat her.”
Yash: “Hypothetically, if I put her up against Angela – she’s gonna dog walk. Right? Exactly. Dog walk. So I gotta think that one through.”
Melody: “Yeah, definitely that. But the good thing is too, is that you play in the veto, and you’ve beaten Haley. Like, you’re a strong competitor too.”
Melody: “But you still don’t want to just rely on that.”
Yash: “Because also it’s like the Blockbuster. I would need someone sitting there who can compete. Angela’s barbecue chicken in the Blockbuster.”
Yash: “But then it’s like, all right, now if Haley comes for my ass, that’s not good. Because, like, she’s bound to win again at some point.”
Yash: “That was another thing, too. I just found it interesting – because we know for a fact now, the three Icons and Haley, Chuk, right? We know for a fact now they were working together, because they talk about that alliance in broad daylight, because it’s blown up. So it makes you think -“
Yash: “Why were Devens and Dee so ready to keep Haley? Is it because they still have some sort of loyalty? I think it’s weird.”
Melody: “That’s what I was f—ing saying. I literally was saying that. Who the f— was I saying that to? I was saying that to Mallory.”
Melody: “I was like, bro, do you really think that them six were working together for four whole ass weeks and you think they’re just ready to drop completely? And she’s a strong competitor.”
Melody: “Like, you really think that they’re just – who are they gonna go work with? They know they need her, and she’s still in the house. And she’s desperate, so it’s an easy person to work with. So why wouldn’t they go work with her?”
Yash: “There has to be some sort of allegiance there.”
Melody: “It’s just them three right now. So why the f— would they not include Haley?”
Melody: “And, like, maybe that was their plan. Or maybe – and it’s just like, again, if Lala didn’t -“
Melody: “I love her. I love her. And she’s awesome.”
Yash: “But you’re a dumbass for that.”
Melody: “You have to chill.”
Yash: “Like, bro, you didn’t need to do that. I haven’t told her to, and then Taylor told her. Like, just chill.”
Yash: “Taylor told her better than I told her, because I was like, I’ve got to be careful what I tell you, because I probably can’t tell you all these things.”
Melody: “No, same. Like, I’ve literally just been quiet for the last, like, five hours.”
Yash: “But they do lie. Like, Angela was crying about that, right? Lala was like, she wasn’t crying about that. She was crying about something else. She’s like, I talked to her.”
Melody: “Which means – and here’s another thing. Why are we believing everything these motherf—ers say?”
Yash: “That’s what I’m saying. Like, are you guys dumb? Don’t believe anything they say, bro.”
Melody: “Like, do you really think – yet again, do you really think that Angela would choose you, mama, over Haley?”
Yash: “Like, no way. Be f—ing for real.”
Melody: “Even after that fight.”
Yash: “Exactly. They are clearly -“
Melody: “They’ve been working together for four f—ing weeks. She’s still in the house. She’s a strong competitor.”
Yash: “And they’ve been close since day one, day two. Because I remember one day I talked to Angela on the hammock. I was lifting, she was on the hammock, so I went over just to chit-chat.”
Yash: “And she was like, Yash, just so you know – and you know this did not age well at all – she was like, I feel really good about you.”
Yash: “This is when she thought that whole side of the house was working together with Rome and shit. She was like, it’s very obvious what’s going on here. There’s like seven people in the gym right now. She’s like, there’s not a lot of people I can trust. But she’s like, I know the good ones. And she’s like, just know I got you. And I was like, hell yeah.”
Yash: “And then Haley starts walking over. And she was saying it in a very generic way, like, I know who the bad ones are, I know who’s playing too hard, I know this. She’s like – but that’s a good one right there.”
Yash: “This was basically day two or three.”
Melody: “We on opposite pages, bro.”
Yash: “And I was like, I bet. I was like, I’m cool with you. But then ever since then, we never talked. Because I was like, oh, if we’re good, we don’t have to talk. We’re good. Apparently the f— not.”
Yash: “But that just tells me, right, she was close with Haley since the start. And they never stopped it for four weeks straight.”
Melody: “100%. And then they were in an official alliance together.”

Yash: “And maybe I backdoor her. Because the backdoor is easy, because everyone’s going to use the f—ing veto. No one would not use it to keep Haley safe. The only one that would do that would be Angela.”
Melody: “Yeah, exactly. That’s an idea. I would have to, like, actually think through – and that’s not what I’m gonna think through at this hour.”
Yash: “No, totally. Don’t think about it tomorrow.”
Melody: “But those are the ideas. Especially with the Blockbuster and the three noms. That’s something you have to consider.”
Yash: “And then, dude, it’s crazy, because the numbers in here are getting small. I think about it in my head and I’m like, there should be more people, and it’s just not any more people.”
Melody: “No, it’s so weird. It’s so weird.”
Yash: “The thing with the powers, too, is, like, the powers might not even have anything to do with noms. They’re all weird. Like, powers are random.”
Melody: “Yeah, some of the powers are weird, especially if they’re doing, like, a Time Capsule. Like, it’s nothing we’ve never not seen.”
Melody: “All of the powers are something that’s already been a part of Big Brother. And there’s only, like, two that are, like, really insane. And who’s to say they even have those ones – especially with the way that Mallory was describing it. Like the Coup d’Etat one and the HOH takeover. Like, those are insane.”
Melody: “I’m not completely sure how that one works. That’s a question for Barrett.”
Yash: “That’s something I’ll ask him. But I’m not sure.”
Yash: “So don’t say anything we talk about, that way they don’t get even the inkling that it’s worth taking over.”
Melody: “Literally, I’m telling you right now, I’m not saying a goddamn word. My strategy has been and is going to continue to be – I’m just going to be quiet. Especially right now.”
Melody: “I f— with you, dude. I would never – I hope, like, the same. Like, hopefully we can keep that between us. Because I just wanted to tell you about, like, even just the Angela thing, and the eviction when I was on the f—ing block and all that bullshit going down. Like, she’s up to no good.”
Yash: “No, absolutely no good. And then that makes me question too, because I’m like, okay, so Devens and Dee are playing, and Angela. But all y’all are together, though.”
Yash: “Also, where does Barrett stand with Dee and Angela? Because he’s, like, weirdly close with all three Icons. And I’m like, I don’t want to ask him, because I’m very cool with Barrett. I don’t need him thinking it’s out of some sort of bad angle.”
Melody: “I don’t think Barrett is rocking with them. As far as I know, if Barrett’s telling me the truth – and I hang out with Barrett a lot – he tells me that he just talks to them, but he is completely with us.”
Melody: “He obviously wanted to win HOH too. He wanted to be a part of this plan that Lala had. Obviously he didn’t want to go up on the block, but he felt comfortable enough, because he knew we had him.”
Melody: “And as far as I know, he’s not working with them. And I don’t see why he would.”
Yash: “There’s no reason for him to.”
Melody: “And Haley’s still here, and even Kamu is still here. Like, why would they? That’s two people still part of that six. They still have five people, technically, if they wanted to keep their alliance.”
Yash: “That’s why it’s pivotal one of them goes.”
Melody: “Let’s not be fooled right now. They still have five people. Like, Kamu using the veto was big. And I kind of got the vibe he was gonna vote Haley out over Chuk. He gave me that. So maybe not even include him in that – but still four people.”
Melody: “That’s a lot of people. And all strong competitors. Three of them haven’t even been on the f—ing block.”
Yash: “And three of them have been on three TV shows. Two TV shows.”
Melody: “And Angela’s been on like 50.”
Yash: “That’s going to be interesting, how to do it. I definitely got to come up with a plan, because I don’t think just putting everyone up is the best plan. That’s kind of just, like, hope and pray it goes your way. But I don’t think that’s the best way.”
Yash: “There’s got to be a good way to do it. I just got to look at the puzzle after getting all the pieces.”
Melody: “No, exactly. And, like, today in that damn game, legit just, like, taking a step back and looking at the full picture.”
Melody: “Because that’s what I was saying. I’m so glad you feel that way about that. Because I was literally tweaking in my brain, because I was like, am I going to be the only person who genuinely sees what the f— is going on with this Haley shit? Like, genuinely, what the f—?”
Yash: “Like, what are we talking about? Feeling bad?”
Melody: “Like, bro, what do you mean? Do you think she feels bad when she’s about to beat us in all these comps?”
Yash: “She made everyone feel bad, bro.”
Melody: “Like, come on.”
Melody: “But yeah, just looking at, like, a bigger picture – you’ll figure it out. It’s also, like, 3 in the f—ing morning.”

3:19 pm Bonus: Hours in the HOH room with the Bad Boys
Yash won the HOH, put on the robe and the slippers, and Drew and Kamu came up to celebrate. The strategy is in the section above. This is everything else.
Thirty minutes, three men, one robe
“Let’s f—ing go” — 7 times. Drew accounts for four.
“Bro” — 32
“Dude” — 40
“The bad boys” — said twice, four seconds apart, by two different people
Drew arrives first, while Yash is still working out what the HOH basket contains.
Drew: “You gotta put the robe on when Kamu walks in.”
Yash: “So when he comes in I’ll put on the robe and shit.”
Drew: “Let’s f—ing go, though, bro.”
Yash: “No, dude, I’m stoked. Let’s f—ing go.”
Drew: “Same for me, same for you. A win for you is a win for me.”

The robe itself arrives.
Drew: “What the f— is that?”
Yash: “I was like, bro.”
Drew: “What the hell do they want you to wear?”
Yash: “Sorry if I’m distracted.”
Drew: “Nah, dude, this is – you gotta enjoy your -“
Yash: “I don’t need to give you sit-down, one-on-one attention. You know how we’re rocking and rolling, bro.”
Drew: “Nah, I’m not even stressed about it, dog.”
Yash: “They really put their shit in there.”
Drew: “The second you won, I was like – let’s f—ing go, dude. Like, let’s f—ing go.”
Then the shoes.
Yash: “Those are actually lit. Look how big my normal shoes are.”
Drew: “What size?”
Yash: “Nine.”
Drew: “Oh, dead, small feet.”
Yash: “Those look huge. Yeah, that’s actually gangster.”
Kamu arrives.
Kamu: “Do you have a cigar? I was going to say, put them on your head. Don’t wear them.”
Yash gets to the supplements.
Yash: “Because for my magnesium, I was like, I want to get high-quality shit, bro. Dude, Thorne makes amazing stuff. Their stuff is so high-quality.”
Kamu: “Oh, did you get that? Or did you bring this?”
Yash: “No, no, I brought it.”
The robe changes hands. Possibly.
“Is that comfortable?”
“Here, put that shit on, bro.”
“No, no, no. I don’t want to. This is yours.”
“Yeah, it could be bad juju.”
“That’s fair. Oh, but dude, let’s f—ing go.”
“Dude, big win for you.”
“I am so, so for you, bro.”
“Let’s go. Like, for real.”

Briefly, an actual competition memory.
Yash: “Dude, that was a huge run. Me and you getting each other f—ing round one. I was like, what are the f—ing odds of that?”
Drew: “I know, dude. I thought for sure it was going to be me too.”
Drew: “Yours made me laugh. I was like, Melody’s going to be like, give me f—ing cash.”
Yash: “It went good with Melody, because she picked me back. And then we ended up going one-one and we’re like, all right, we’re chill. I picked her, she picked me, we went up against each other and it was good.”
And then, without any warning, the alliance gets a name.
Drew: “The numbers are dwindling. Only five dudes left right now.”
Drew: “It’s literally the bad boys. It’s you, me, Kamu, Devens and Barrett.”
Kamu: “But I don’t want to see dudes go home.”
Yash: “F— that. It’s a disadvantage as f—.”
Kamu: “I feel like this five could be rocking and rolling as is.”
Drew: “The bad boys.”
Kamu: “The bad boys.”
“The bad boys.”
“The bad boys.”
— Drew, then Kamu, four seconds apart

3:47 AM — Kamu, Yash and Drew (HOH)
Kamu is recounting his conversation with Haley.
Kamu: “She goes, you’re kind of in the hot seat. And I was like, why? For what? And she’s like, well, because multiple people came over to me, like Dee and Angela, and said, yo, Kamu was the one person who wouldn’t flip the vote on you and he would have voted to evict you if you were sitting there next to Chuk. Like, he can’t be trusted.”
Yash: “I was in that conversation. I know. Dude, I know. Also, does she not have a brain? The two people that lied to her — do you not have a brain?”
Kamu: “Haley, she understands. She doesn’t trust Dee. She’s cool with Angela, which is weird.”
Kamu says Angela also told Haley that the only reason he pulled Haley into the gym was for good TV.
Kamu: “I told Haley, when it was all said and done, that’s gonna make for some good TV. Which it would, and it is. But bro, you were there. The biggest reason why I wanted Angela, forget about the TV — I wanted her to see Chuk fumble. I wanted to see Chuk dance, dude.”
Yash: “For context, if you don’t know, Chuk lied to Angela.”
Drew: “Yeah, about you saying that you’d target her. You boys explained it to me outside.”
Kamu: “It was out of nowhere. I was sitting in this exact same spot. Devens was right there, and Chuk was right here. And he was like, oh hey, by the way — if Yash wins, he said that he’d put up Angela on the block. Just to f—ing stir shit.”
Yash: “I was like, good riddance, bro. I know you would never put me up, but good f—ing riddance.”
Yash: “A lie has festered. If a lie has festered with you for two weeks, and now you know the truth, but you still don’t fully have a relationship with the person telling the truth — most people choose the belief that makes them comfortable.”
Kamu: “In six weeks’ time, living with each other 24/7, relationships are gonna be so established. If Angela doesn’t wanna put up a girl, who’s she gonna throw up? Is she gonna put up another icon? Is she gonna put up Devens? Or is she gonna come take a swing at one of us in this room?”
Yash: “I think Barrett would be okay. He’s cool with them.”
Kamu: “She was up here when Haley was HOH, and then they had their fight. And then she was up here again when Lala was HOH. And now Lala’s not HOH anymore, and what does she do? She’s right back with Haley again. That’s convenient timing.”

3:57 AM — Kamu, Yash and Drew (HOH)
Yash: “It seems like the funnel is Dee tells Angela, Angela tells Haley. Is there a realm where Angela is the liar, Dee is not doing these things, and Angela is the one saying Dee is saying it to Haley?”
Kamu: “I don’t think it is. I’ve noticed with Dee, even when I was HOH, that she’s incredibly agreeable. Kinda like Chuk, but not as bad.”
Kamu walks through a conversation about Lyric during Haley’s HOH.
Kamu: “I was saying, man, Lyric really wants to work with us. And Dee was like, yeah, that makes sense to me, of course, absolutely. A few hours later, literally that same day, we’re in here. Haley starts talking about how she wants to put Lyric up. And Dee was like, oh yeah, of course, no way. And I’m sitting here like, why is this reaction way different than the reaction that you gave me? I think she kind of just goes along with the room, with whoever’s in power at the time.”
Yash: “Horrible trait. That shit is scary. You should just be funny and say, yo, I don’t trust Devens, and see what she says.”
Kamu: “Bro, you bring me up, I guarantee you she’ll go along with it, because she keeps throwing my name out.”
4:00 AM — Kamu, Yash and Drew (HOH)
Kamu says the idea of keeping Haley over Chuk originated with Dee.
Kamu: “Dee was the one that mentioned to me, what if we keep Haley? Dude, it was definitely her idea.”
Yash: “It was Dee. I could see it in her eyes. It was her idea.”
Kamu: “She’s like, I feel really bad. I don’t like the way Haley has been treated by Lala. I think it would be wrong to have her last few days be where she’s being bullied, and then evict her. And then she said, don’t tell Yash. I was like, weird thing to say. In my head I’m thinking, I’m not voting differently than Yash. After last week, when you voted Melody, I’m like, I’m riding with Yash. We’re going the same way every time.”
Kamu: “I was like, why not tell Yash? And she’s like, I think he’s really close with Taylor. Taylor would tell Lala and then they would know it came back to me. But she goes, I trust you and Devens. So if you and Devens trust Yash, then I’m cool with Yash. But it was only because you’re cool with me and Devens. Not because she trusts you.”
Kamu brings up the meeting in Lala’s HOH room.
Kamu: “Lala came and she was like, hey you guys, HOH room. Bro, Dee had no problem trashing Haley.”
Yash: “Trashed her. What kind of crazy girl shaves off her sister’s eyebrow?”
Kamu: “I was like, oh, that happened?”
Yash: “She’s like, yeah, when they were young.”
Kamu: “It’s one thing to play the game. It’s another thing to make things personal and drag somebody’s character through the mud. I don’t like the bullying. When I sat here that day, I felt super uncomfortable. And when I got called to the DR, I was like, thank God.”
Kamu: “Dee told me, I feel bad, nobody’s time in the house should be miserable like that. I told that to Haley. And Haley was like, well, she avoids me, she won’t talk to me, she’ll walk right past me. It’s so weird, because what’s being said and what’s being shown is not the same.”
4:04 AM — Kamu, Yash and Drew (HOH)
Kamu: “When you told me in the bathroom, I think you said Angela and Dee. I don’t remember who the third was.”
Yash: “I mean, I was kind of thinking Haley. It’s not fully fledged, but that’s my initial gut.”
Kamu: “I was so happy that you said Angela and Dee, because both of them have trashed my name to Haley. If I would have won HOH, both of them are going up.”
Kamu: “Talk to Haley tomorrow, because without Chuk, and the fact that I didn’t just play the veto on her, right now she’s desperately looking for people to work with. And she wants it to be us. She trusts Drew. She trusts you. But bro, she’s spoken bad about all three of us.”
Yash: “Multiple times. She’s talked about me, I know that for a fact. And she’s talked about you to me and Chuk together, not knowing we’re actually close as well.”
Yash: “It almost feels like we’d be dumb to do it. This person has clearly put us in harm’s way, and this person is wishy-washy on all of their relationships. Do we work with them? I would say, f— no. But there’s also the route that she’s clearly a threat in terms of competing. Keep your enemies closer, whatever.”
Kamu: “The good thing about Angela and Dee is that neither one of them seem to be able to win a competition to save their lives.”
Yash: “They can’t win for shit. And with Haley, it could be a backdoor opportunity. If Dee and Angela are sitting up there, they ain’t winning a veto. And they’re not winning a Blockbuster.”
Kamu: “If you put Haley up as a backdoor, you know she’s taking herself down against Dee and Angela. And then now you have an enemy out of Haley. Right now, you have the opportunity to win her trust. One of her last words, like her dying wish, was, trust Yash. Which is very different than what it was before.”
Kamu: “When you talk to her about Angela, paint it like — isn’t it kind of convenient that Angela wants to rebuild her relationship with you right around the time you’re about to compete and probably win the Blockbuster? She was with you for your HOH. She was with Lala for her HOH.”
Yash: “That’s what I was thinking about telling her too.”

4:10 AM — Kamu, Yash and Drew (HOH)
Drew: “Talk to everybody, bro. I’m sure there’s going to be a couple people that are going to come up here and just badmouth the shit out of me and him. To you. Let them. But just know whatever you do, bro, I’m rocking with you. You can’t vote this week, but I’m voting however you want.”
Yash: “I appreciate that. I trust that fully. No doubt in my mind.” Then, on Melody: “Do you think any part of her holds on to the fact that I voted her?”
Drew: “Probably not. She hasn’t really said, like, I’m gunning for Yash. I think she’s more scared of the icons, in all honesty.”
Kamu: “No, I love Melody, bro. We’re having a sleepover tomorrow.”
4:13 AM — Kamu, Yash and Drew (HOH)
Yash: “That’s why I think Angela and Dee are the two that I’m going to put up for sure. As of now. There ain’t going to be no blowback from that. Who on this board would be mad that I put them up? Nobody. I’ll just say, listen bro — they’ve not been on the block yet. Dee put me up.”
Kamu: “Do you have a target in mind?”
Yash: “I would probably prefer Angela going. I think Angela guaranteed would put me up. I don’t think Dee would. Also, she might have a power, right?”
Kamu: “If I had won, Dee would have been my target, because I think she’s a bigger social threat. If we’re looking at influence, Dee has much more influence than Angela. Who does Angela have influence over? Nobody. Also, Dee won Survivor. If she makes it to the end, people are gonna go, yo, she came in here as a former Survivor winner and she still made it this far. She could be the first ever Big Brother and Survivor winner.”
Yash: “Truth be told, I don’t really care who goes out of the two of them. I just don’t think Dee would put me up. So I’m going to go with the person who I think would actually put me up. But the third one, it’s like an impossible decision.”
Drew: “You’d be dumb to put Taylor. You’d be dumb to put Lala. Those are your girls, bro. And your three choices are Haley, Mallory, Melody, in all honesty.”
Yash: “And I’m not putting up Mallory.”
Drew: “So you’re in between Melody and Haley. Sit with it. If you want to bring me up here, I’ll talk to you. If you want to bring Kamu, he’ll talk to you.”
4:17 AM — Kamu, Yash and Drew (HOH)
Yash: “Barrett is close with Dee, low key, right? Out of the five guys, if there was to be someone who’s a little loose, I think it would be him, because of his relations with them.”
Kamu: “I love Barrett. Barrett makes me nervous, because Barrett is very close with the girls and he’s also very close with Devens. Barrett’s good with everybody.”
Drew: “Like I was telling him downstairs — it wasn’t, okay, do we vote Barrett out. It’s, okay, whoever Barrett’s sitting next to goes.”
Yash: “If any of us sit next to Barrett, we’re out. Easy. Which, again, is cool. We’re good with him.”
Kamu: “He’s not going to put up Devens. He’s not going to put up Mallory or Melody. I think I’m for sure sitting in one of those spots.”
Yash: “Putting him up, he’s never going to go home. Which pretty much makes the nominations a two-person nomination. That’s why Lala used him. Which is smart. And it would suck to have to do it again.”
4:20 AM — Kamu, Yash and Drew (HOH)
Yash: “We all are tight with Devens. How tight do we think he is with Dee? He was also vouching to keep Haley. Which I’m like, hmm, where’d this come from? I don’t think you would start that. I don’t think I would start that. I don’t think Mallory, Melody, Barrett, any of them would have started that. Which leaves two, three people. Angela obviously would want to keep Haley, that’s an obvious one. But why would Dee and Devens? There’s a gap there.”
Kamu: “I’m curious if he would tell you. Because when we got iced out of the vote last week, he never told me. He said there was a group of people that decided to flip the vote, and I asked him who, and he goes, I don’t want to throw anybody under the bus.”
Yash: “And how did he know? How did him and Dee both know and Angela know?”
Kamu: “He told me, dude, I thought you knew about the vote. And then he told me, okay, the reason why we didn’t tell you was because we didn’t know how close you were with Chuk and Haley, and we didn’t know if you’d go back and tell them. So it’s like, Dee and Devens, they both lied to me in different ways, but they both lied to me.”
Yash: “I would never nominate Devens, ever. But this is important context for us to know about how we move forward in this game. As close as we all are, actions speak louder than words. He’s shown action by keeping us all safe. But the most recent action has not been of absolute loyalty.”
Kamu: “Now I do wonder, if I am up there next to Barrett, who does Devens vote to evict? Bro, I think he votes to evict me.”
Yash: “I think so too. Because he’s a smart dude. He knows if a competitor is on that block, they’ll chop off the head. But they didn’t want to do it with Haley, which was weird.”

4:26 AM — Kamu, Yash and Drew (HOH)
Yash: “It really just comes down to, is she with the shit? All three of us are with the shit. She seems to be a little dumb. I wouldn’t say dumb — I’d call it unaware. Do we want to be partnered with someone who has exhibited those tendencies? There is a lot of benefit, because we are a group of four that could win a lot. But with the three of us, nothing makes me nervous. I don’t get nervous about information flowing out with you guys. With her, that is a risk.”
Kamu: “You’re right. She has shared information before by accident. And then she’d come back to me and be like, oh my gosh, I told this person this, and I’m sorry.”
Yash: “That cannot happen, bro.”
Kamu: “Another angle with Haley is, she is a shield for us. People will always want to put her up either before us or next to us. Let’s say we’re sitting next to Barrett, all three of us. We probably all three go home. If we’re sitting next to Haley, there’s a good chance all three of us stay.”
Drew: “But you also make the same argument with the icons. I do think we all probably stay over an icon.”
Yash: “Who’s voting for Angela? Who’s voting for Dee? Who’s voting for Devens?”
Yash: “I am open to working with Haley. I know she trusts me. All last week she was saying it. All last week Chuk was saying it. And then her dying words to you was that.”
Drew: “Was trust Yash. I was like, you don’t got to tell me. I love Yash.”
Talk turns to Mallory and Barrett.
Drew: “In all honesty, Melody and Mallory are closer to Barrett. If she had to make a choice between me and Barrett, the choice would be very easy for her. Mallory’s locked with him. Barrett has both of them.”
Kamu: “He gave her a shout-out tonight, bro.”
Drew: “Weird flirt, but that’s jokes. But also, there’s only five guys left in this house. And there’s six girls.”
Kamu: “There’s seven.”
Drew: “Oh, there’s seven girls. Are you for real? Oh, shit, yeah. They could just snag Barrett off the block. And now it’s four guys, seven girls.”
Kamu: “I think more importantly than how many guys and how many girls is who the people are working with. Barrett is one of the guys, but he’s working with the girls. Haley is a girl, but she wants to work with only guys.”
4:36 AM — Kamu, Yash and Drew (HOH)
Kamu: “He got second place today. He got second place in the veto, with me. And he was right there behind Haley. I think he’s actually kind of like a sleeper.”
Yash: “He was in the last round. Me, him, Mallory, Lyric all made it really far into the one that Haley won, the HOH.”
Kamu: “That’s actually kind of scary. Dee’s not winning anything, Angela’s not winning anything. But Barrett could win something.”
Yash: “If Haley just wasn’t a competitor, it would be the easiest decision of my life. I’d put her up. But she can compete, and if I’m putting her up against f—ing Angela and Dee, that’s the most barbecue chicken lineup I’ve ever seen in my life.”
Drew: “That’s what I’m saying. I would be baffled. The only person that would maybe beat her would be Dee.”
“If I’m putting her up against f—ing Angela and Dee, that’s the most barbecue chicken lineup I’ve ever seen in my life.”
— Yash, on putting Haley next to Angela and Dee
4:37 AM — Kamu, Yash and Drew (HOH)
Yash works out how he would sell a nomination to Haley.
Yash: “I’m cool with you, but I need reasons to trust you now. You got 10 people calling for your head, so I would be crossing 10 people if I don’t put you up. And then I’ll say, you are just a pawn. I do not need you going home. I talked to Drew. I talked to Kamu. We want you in this game. But these past five weeks have left me no choice. And I’ll say, go win that veto. And then we’ll be right back where we started.”
Drew: “That’s the main thing I worry about for you, dude. Everyone is expecting to see her.”
Kamu: “Assure her that she is the pawn and that you need there to be a good competitor to keep Dee and Angela from winning.”
Yash: “But then if she wins it, then it’s like, what the f—?”
Kamu: “If you get to pull your chip, feel free to pick me for the veto.”
Drew: “If you want to, I will. I want to play in this veto. I haven’t played in a veto yet that I haven’t been on the block.”
Yash: “Maybe we get both. Maybe I pull one of you first and I pick the other one, bro.”
Drew: “People are going to air dirty-ass laundry. You’re going to get so f—ing sick of talking to people. That’s why sometimes I don’t envy the guy. I want to win so f—ing bad, but also people come in and they’re like, my best friend f—ing sucks, you put their ass up.”
Kamu: “A question you may want to ask people is — if you were me, who would you put up? And there might be people who are like, oh, I don’t feel comfortable telling you that. If they say that, then you kind of know they’re not really working with you. Or they will open up and say, I’d probably put this person, that person. And then you know, are they coming after your people?”
Yash: “I agree. If I had to do it in an hour, I’d feel fine about it. Now I’m like, good, this is just extra information that’ll help make the decision final.”
Kamu: “You may want to tell her that your target is Dee. Even if it’s not true, because things always change.”
Drew: “I don’t know if I’d say anything, bro. I trust Haley, but don’t give too much info out.”
Kamu: “The only reason why I say that is because she’s tight with Angela. But this could be a trust-building exercise for you guys.”
Yash: “No, if I give her anything, it’s going to be Dee. I’m not going to tell her we’ve talked about that. I would just tell her we’re on the same page regarding Chuk.”
Kamu: “As far as I’m aware, I don’t think that anybody should know that this conversation ever even happened.”
4:44 AM — Kamu, Yash and Drew (HOH)
Yash: “This feels sick. This is how it should be, bro. The triangle. This is how it f—ing should be.”
Drew: “Enjoy your bed. I’m about to sleep like a babe. I do think it’s probably late as hell.”
Yash: “Let’s see what time it is. Let’s check the iPod.”
Drew: “It’s probably 4. It’s got to be 4. It’s 4:41.”
Yash: “Me winning is you guys winning. It was best case scenario.”
Drew: “Dude, we’re in your corner. 100%. Let us do damage control for you, bro.”
Kamu: “I’m going to let you do your thing tomorrow. I’ll give you space.”
Yash: “I’ll be downstairs. And if you guys hear anything pertaining to that that could be important, come up and let me know.”
57 minutes in the HOH room, by the numbers
“Bro”: 83
“Dude”: 70
Names Yash rules out: Devens, Barrett, Mallory, Taylor, Lala, Drew, Kamu
Names left: Angela, Dee, Melody, Haley
Where it stands
Yash goes to bed with two of three names locked: Angela and Dee. His stated reasoning is that neither has been on the block, Dee nominated him in Week 1, and there is no blowback available. His preferred target is Angela, on the logic that Angela would nominate him and Dee probably would not. Kamu argued the opposite the whole hour: Dee has influence and Angela has none, and Dee is a former Survivor winner whose resume grows every week she survives.
The third seat is the whole conversation. Drew narrowed it to Haley or Melody by ruling out Taylor, Lala and Mallory, and Yash agreed on all three. Haley is the problem, because she is the one nominee who could win her way off. Yash drafted a pawn speech for her and then talked himself back out of it twice. Barrett came up repeatedly as the safe third — a body who cannot be evicted — which is how Lala used him, and Yash flagged that reusing the move would make it a two-person nomination in practice.
The bigger development is that both Kamu and Yash now have Devens in the frame. Not as a nominee — Yash said flatly he would never nominate him — but as somebody whose actions last week did not match his words. Devens withheld the vote flip from Kamu and then explained it by saying they were unsure whose side he was on, and Devens was among the small number of people who could have started the keep-Haley push. Yash intends to ask him directly who floated it. Kamu volunteered that if he ends up on the block next to Barrett, he thinks Devens votes him out.
Neither of them knows Devens is holding the Diamond Power of Veto, and neither knows Dee has the BB Bribe. Yash raised the possibility that Dee has a power — the house belief that has been circulating for two weeks — and used it as an argument for putting her up. He is half right for entirely the wrong reason.
Yes Yash put up Dee and Angela!!! Get out one of the icons while you still can. I’m so sick of the cockiness and they need to SWEAT!!! Devens hopefully will save the Diamond power to save his own butt and not use it this week. Fingers crossed Dee and Angela are still sitting in both chairs next Thursday.
From your lips to Grod’s ears!
PLEASE put up Angela,Dee,and Haley, back door or either way.
Sounds ideal to me,Yash!
Ditto.
Dude doesn’t even know what haircut to have let alone be HOH
And yet Devens trusts Dude to be his barber?!
If Dee doesn’t know she’s going on the block, she can’t bribe Yash, can she?
The bribe power is useless….$5,000 isn’t going to change anyone’s minds. Remember, on one has to accept the bribe. You’d be a fool to do anything for that tiny amount of $$$$, almost have a 1 out of 10 chance of being a BB Champion…..worst power ever….Best bet is to bribe yourself to eat some Lay’s potato chips!
Most of these houseguests don’t look like millionaires. It might be chump change to some of the commentators on this site but it might seem like a lot of money to a sales clerk or a dental assistant or someone who still lives with their parents.
Irrelevant question. Bribe won’t be accepted by HOH.
I hear the top of the page summary in the BB announcer’s voice.
Now others can too, like an ear worm.
Hey Simon,
Great breakdown of the brodown.
I think Dee did tell Kamu about the bribe power and what it does.
I believe he has not introduced the knowledge YET because he is hoping to be the HOH that gets the bribe himself… or because he fears Yash will drop her from contention.
Last night the convo between Yash Drew and Kamu was a slog.
Man that Kamu loves the sound of his own voice. I fell asleep three times.
While Dee and Angela seem currently locked, and Yash very much keeps coming back to Haley third nom (he really dislikes her since week one)… there has been resistance.
I do believe Kamu tried his yeah okay we will call it a test of loyalty thing. I expect him to push again though.
Taylor, Kamu and to an extent Drew kept throwing out reasons to keep Haley off the block.
An astute gamesman would raise serious questions about that as red flag.
What we have to consider… Will Drew spill OR how much and to who. It MAY be seeping into his head that perhaps the Crossovers crossed back and double crossed him two weeks ago before jumping in to ‘save’ him. It MIGHT.
Kamu is at the point of adding Yash to the Middle men and keeping Devens out of his newest alliance. His alliances seem to be the same 6 people only in different iterations and combinations.
Drew. Man. He did keep adding Haley back into the mix (the house expects or wants angle) when he wasn’t giving devil advocate reasons to save her… but he was not pushing hard to protect ANYbody. He has done this before. Volunteers his allies for the block to show he isn’t close to them. When this is added to the revelation last week that Dee sold him out to Mallory causing Melody to confront him and needle with comments like “you know what you did”…..and the question truly becomes Is Drew embracing Lone wolf? We will get answers to that this week I think. To me it very much felt like Drew was trying to fratboy bond while also trying to mirror both Yash and Kamu simultaneously even though they were pushing opposite ideas. No really. Just nod and quit jeckyl hyding in the same conversation dewd.
Yash says no man will touch the block, but somehow Barrett is a contender for third seat. Ummmm. Part of me thinks this is Kamu’s week one Bare Rat bashing again. Barrett doesn’t fuq with Kamu and isn’t take orders from Kamu. He’ll say I don’t want to be a pawn we’re in an alliance. When Kamu heard Barrett said that to Haley he was not impressed two weeks ago. Kamu did push for La Trice to keep Barrett on the block last week as well. I’m starting to think Kamu has a Barrett issue. Must be the height thing.
Ouch!
To quote the late great Davey Jones(of the Monkees, in “Daydream Believer”): “I know I’m short man, but you don’t have to remind me!”
So, let me get this straight. Haley is the ultimate villain that everyone wants gone?? Hmm. she ‘s not the one that betrayed her alliance..she had absolute faith in The Toolshed and they shit on her, Up til last week, THERE WAS NO EVIDENCE that she would have ever turned on Angela. Even after the vote didn’t go her way, she still believed Angela was faithful. She made no attempt to cross the icons…but suddenly has their ire…huh? She’s not even the one that orchestrated The Toolshed. Meanwhile, everybody is up Kamu’s ass, when HE DID turn his back on his allies by not using the veto,,for who?, LaLa? he had no allegiance to her…to respect her HOH?…he didn’t seem to care too much about Haley’s HOH getting disrespected. He convinced Lala that others would put her up to stay off the block WHEN HE PUT HER UP HIMSELF. He’s a f%$king coward..dude, you call yourself a man of Faith,,you cant even be loyal to allies in a reality show for money,,how can you be counted on to be loyal to The King of Kings when push comes to shove..nothing but a phony. Taylor got the nerve to say she connects with him because of his Faith,,a real believer would see him for what he is..which makes her another phony. You luke warm christians? wouldn’t know what to do with yourselves if they came face to face with a real man of Faith like me. Melody & Mallory are stting in the diary room talking about wanting to laugh in Haley’s face, and somehow they’re not mean girls? You cant tell me that someone as pretty as Melody, who just happens to be game show host isn’t a egotistical elitist IRL,,,she just cant stand that she’s not the automatic center of attention. And Mallory…girl, you’re a rocket scientist? You’re not even intelligent enough to understand that we live under a firmament and there is no such thing as space. And Lala, dont get too big headed about winning the wall…I’m 58 too and I would have crushed you in it..I ‘ve never owned or driven a car in my life. When I visit my 82 year old mom, I walk the whole way to get there,,,it’s 17 miles away….there’s a mountain I got to cross along the way AND I do it with a 50 Lb pack on my back AND in the harsh Newfoundland winters. You’re not in my league..now, ffs, show some decorum & class for a woman your age. And Yash, ffs, be a man,..when Haley had power she made absolutely no move on you,,have enough spine to return the favor instead of buckling to the whims of the house. How can Haley have been running the house when any idiot can see that The Icon? are the ones with all the stroke, and support from production..show us you got nads enough to go after the real powers standing in the way of anyone else having success in the game. Are there any people left in this world with a backbone or am i the last one standing??
It’s a game show, calm down.
The King of Kings said: “Judge NOT, lest ye be judged!”
Since ye chose to judge other self-professed “true” Christians as to their actual faith, ye will now be judged:
1) Since humility and turning one’s other cheek go hand-in-hand with “true” Christianity, and since ye are so blatantly lacking in both, I judge ye to be a hypocrite.
2) Since proper language and decorum go hand-in-hand with “true” Christianity, and since ye are so blatantly lacking in both, what with your post’s f***-bombs and a**-bombs, I judge ye to be a phony.
3) Since the only thing larger than your hypocrisy is your enormous ego, which is an anathema to a “true” Christian, I judge ye to be a fraud.
Holier-than-thou much?
Methinks thou dost protest too much, “Joey”.
P.S. “Joey”(if that’s your real name):
Since forgiveness and tolerance are emblematic of “true” Christianity, and since ye clearly possess neither characteristic, ye are judged to be EITHER an atheistic wolf in “true” Christian sheep’s clothing OR the alternative Australian definition of a “Joey”—a baby kangaroo.
Frankly, ye will have a better chance of entering the gates of heaven as the latter.
Melodys behavior is Reactive behavior to Haleys behavior.
Dammit, Lala and Taylor are safe this week?? That sux
Kudos to you, Simon, for the terrific HOH bro-down coverage.
Thanks all .. Pro Bros
and pro Mallory.
