Summary
Kamu took the Week 3 HOH within hours of Rome walking out, and he spent the entire night running the house through his room one at a time. The method he described to almost everyone was identical: ask questions, let people talk, decide nothing until morning. Taylor came through first and left with safety promised, plus an admission she hasn’t made to anyone else — that she wants to be in an alliance and nobody has ever asked her. Lala followed and left saying she has nobody in the house to trust but Angela. Both made the same case, that being tied to Rome was never an alliance and shouldn’t follow them now. Downstairs, Dee and Angela were already working the other end, agreeing they needed to steer his nominations toward people who’d come back to them afterward.
By the time Melody came up, he had a plan and gave her all of it: Mallory and Jason on the block, Lala penciled in third. Mallory and Jason for the same reason — each had thrown his name around where the house could hear it. He also told her there could be “possibly four” nominees this week. Then Drew reshaped it. Instead of nominating Jason directly, put Lyric up as a pawn, win the veto, pull her down, and send Jason up as the replacement, cutting his escape routes from two to one. Kamu liked it enough to send for Devens, who recognized the move on sight and signed off, and then walked the whole thing to Dee, Angela and Haley, and again to Chuk, Barrett and Yash — crediting Drew by name both times.
The only friction came over Taylor. Haley wants her backdoored and Angela agrees she’s the long-game threat — “don’t let it slip through the cracks” — but Kamu won’t burn that relationship and told them to take the shot themselves if they want it. What he did commit to, plainly, is that his priority is the Tool Shed.
Running underneath all of it: Mallory sat across from him promising she’d never put him up and naming Dee and Devens as her own targets, with no idea she was already at the top of his list for having said the opposite in public. Kamu then repeated it to two separate rooms.
The last conversation of the night was the biggest one. Kamu and Drew locked a final two and named the model out loud — Cody and Derrick from BB16, with the Tool Shed cast as the Bomb Squad they intend to take apart. Kamu watched that season on purpose before coming in. They picked the number they’d carry to the end, sketched the week the alliance has to start eating itself, and talked through whether to add Melody and Yash without one of them ending up the middleman. Down in the bathroom at the same time, Yash was coaching Lyric to diversify past Mallory and stop expecting a protector — water every plant on the windowsill — hours after sitting in the HOH room while Kamu named her as the pawn.
And nobody has claimed the lone vote to keep Rome. Kamu assumed it was Lyric and admired her for it, Lala says there was no doubt in her mind it was Lyric, and Lyric says it wasn’t her.

12:40 am Kamu gets his HOH room

12:50 am HOH Taylor and KAmu
Taylor: “What you need from me this week?”
Kamu: “We’re good.”
Taylor: “You rock, I’m rolling. Whatever you need me to vote, whatever the target, just tell me how I’m voting. That’s what I’ll do.”
Kamu: “I don’t have a decision made right now. Honestly, I’m probably going to sleep on whatever I decide. But no, I want you to know that we’re good. You won’t see the block. We’re solid.”
Taylor: “And I wouldn’t put you up either. I think you knew that.”
Kamu: “Where is your head at? We had our conversation a couple days ago outside. There are obviously two sides of the house.”
Taylor: “You think so still?”
Kamu: “I think so. I mean, it feels like there’s kind of a divide.”
Taylor: “I’m gonna be honest with you. I felt like getting Rome out was gonna reset the vibe of that whole idea.”
Kamu: “And maybe it will. Like, we just got him out a couple hours ago. So maybe as of tomorrow or the next day.”
Taylor: “From what I was hearing — even Lyric. As much as she likes Rome and things like that, she was just like, it’s good for everybody. It’s good for her, for him to leave, because it disassociates her from him.”
Taylor: “You remember when we was talking outside, and I was like, yeah, me and Haley had a talk, and Haley told me, yeah, I think people associate you with Rome — not because of Rome, but because of Lala. And I was like, that’s not fair.”
Taylor: “I honestly feel like the lines are no longer — I don’t feel like there’s a side thing. It might be a few people who are still upset from everything that happened last week. But I think this is a good time to reset the game as HOH.”
Kamu: “I agree with you, so I am curious to see over the weekend and over the next few days how things kind of play out, because I think a lot of the people who were working with Rome are probably going to be looking to form new alliances with people and kind of see where other people’s heads are at.”
Taylor: “You can use that to your advantage, for sure.”
Kamu: “I’m kind of actually looking forward to having this time to have a lot of one-on-ones with people to see where people’s heads are at now that Rome is gone. Because he really was kind of the leader of that side of the house.”
Taylor: “I think I told you when I was talking to Devens, and Devens was like, Rome didn’t even say your name when he listed the people. Remember he was like, he listed people? I wasn’t even in that list of people. But once again, because I personally connected to Lala, it’s like, f***.”
Taylor: “I was even having that conversation with Dee and Angela yesterday. Me and Lala don’t even think the same when it comes to game. She’ll say something, I’ll be like, I don’t agree with that. I can’t talk game — we can’t talk game.”
Kamu: “How close game-wise are you? Because the perception is you guys are like mother and daughter.”
Taylor: “And that’s it. But when it comes to game, we don’t even think the same. We’ll get in fights. We’ll go tit for tat when it comes to game sometimes. So I think we actually learned to separate business and personal.”
Kamu: “Like personal relationship from game?”
Taylor: “That’s what we’ve had to do, because we don’t see the game the same. We really don’t.”
Kamu: “But do you see yourself playing long-term with Lala in the game?”
Taylor: “I can, but — you ever see how people get far and they be like, I wonder how I got so far? And it’s probably because they’re just associated with somebody who’s actually smart and thinking. I think that’s how it will be.”
Kamu: “And you’re the brains.”
Taylor: “I think I would. Some of the stuff she say, I just be like, that don’t make sense to me. But hey, maybe it do make sense. Maybe the perspective is just different. Like, how for her to be so close to Rome — I already knew that was hot. Even from my point of view I was kind of like, nah, I kind of see how this is about to go. I love Rome, don’t get me wrong.”
Kamu: “Everybody did.”
Taylor: “I love Rome, don’t get me wrong, but I already see how this is going. I’m not even going to put myself in that. But I still got put in it, and I was just like, f***.”
Kamu: “And you only got put in it because of your association with Lala, who was close with Rome. Extremely close with Rome. But because you were close with her, everyone just assumed, okay, Taylor is working with that side of the house.”
Taylor: “That’s why I was like, I know I can talk to Kamu about it. Because it kind of hurt my feelings — I was like, damn, it feels like I’m not even getting a fair shot to play my own game.”
Kamu: “Between you and me, I was cool with you day one. When we had that conversation in the storage room, I was like, I’m solid with her. We don’t even have to talk every day. That’s what I want you to know. I’m not putting you — you will not see the block.”
Taylor: “And same for you. You gotta win something first, god damn.”
Taylor: “Who would I want to hang out with? But also, who would I be okay with winning? That’s how I think about it. If it’s not me, who?”
Taylor: “Honestly, the only people that I’ve been feeling extremely comfortable with, that is you, Lala. Honestly, Jason — me and Jason, we’re cool. I like Jason. I know, I know, but I can’t lie about it. It’s hard for me to lie.”
Kamu: “On a human level, I really like Jason, too.”
Taylor: “I love his story. Have you heard his testimony?”
Kamu: “Oh my God. Yeah, we’ve had some really good heart-to-hearts. As a human, I love Jason. Game-wise, his game blew up last week, obviously.”
Taylor: “It did, that’s what I’m saying. But I’m looking at the human, because at the end of the day, when we leave here, we’re still human. We’re still people.”
Taylor: “I like Angela.”
Kamu: “Me too. I like you. I’ve been so pleasantly surprised.”
Taylor: “Perceptions change every day.”
Taylor: “I’m just looking at who got a good story and who’s just a good person. Who would I be okay with? And I’m sure we all have our reasons — in this freaking economy, $750,000. I’m not sitting here trying to measure privilege. So at this point, just do right by me. Who’s just not a butthole?”
Taylor: “I’m probably the worst person to be playing this game right now. I might be a little too emotional.”
Kamu: “It’s funny that you say too emotional. I feel like you do a pretty good job hiding your emotions a lot. I mean, sometimes you’ll just yell randomly.”
Taylor: “Like that one time?”
Kamu: “And I was in the other room like, what was that? But joking aside, I think you’re usually super laid back, level-headed. When I think of you, I don’t think of you as somebody who’s overly emotional.”
Taylor: “Yeah, maybe because I cry in my bed every night with the lights up.”
Kamu: “You handle it well, and you handle it in secret, because nobody knows. I think you’re doing a good job, though.”
Taylor: “I want to be a part of an alliance. I haven’t had a chance to be a part of anything. Nobody has asked me. Nobody has asked me. Stop associating me with stuff. Nobody’s asked me.”
Kamu: “Talk to people, though. I know that some people, they don’t know where you’re at. Before Rome was evicted, everyone was like, oh wait, Taylor is in an alliance with Lala and Rome.”
Taylor: “And there was never an alliance.”
Kamu: “But remember, perception is reality. They don’t know that. They just see you with that.”
Kamu: “Who do you want to be in the jury house with? If you don’t win, right? Of course you want to win.”
Taylor: “I love Lala personally, but I wouldn’t want to be in an alliance with Lala. Not from a sense of not trying to protect her — you still have to be like-minded in an alliance. Game-wise.”
Taylor: “But I’m still figuring it out.”
Kamu: “Find some other people that you can lock in with and be like, hey, are we good, are we cool outside of just Lala. Like you said — okay, Dee, Jason, cool. If you’re cool with them and they’re cool with you, work something with them. Because I like you a lot. And I think that the house likes you. I think that the house just doesn’t know where you stand. So I would just say have some conversations with people to strengthen your relationships so you can stay. So that people don’t go, I don’t know where Taylor’s at. Maybe they throw you up on the block or something. Literally for no other reason than just not knowing where your head is at game-wise.”
Kamu: “That’d be my only advice. But you and I are good.”
Kamu: “I’ll tell Lala, I’ll pull her in here.”

12:53 am Dee and Angela
Dee: “We’re here one more week. Great news. We figure it out week by week.”
Dee: “My plan is to work on people that I haven’t worked on. That’s already started. I’m trying to get Taylor. I talked to Melody.”
Dee: “I did tell Taylor, hey, next time, don’t say Taylor.”
Angela: “You did? Thank God. Did you tell her I know, too?”
Dee: “I did not. I wasn’t sure. I did throw out Barrett’s name and Drew’s name.”
Dee: “She’s like, oh, is it true? That alliance. I go, which one? She goes, the alliance. I go, which one? She goes, damn, how many alliances you got? And I’m laughing. I’m like, just tell me which one. Come on.”
Dee: “She acts stupid.”
Angela: “And she has winner written all over her. She is so smart. Very smart girl. We should put her up.”
On what Kamu told her.
Dee: “He told me who he wants to put up.”
Angela: “Oh, he told you? Who?”
Dee: “You’re going to love this.”
Angela: “Wait — watch your head. Do you need an Advil?”
Dee: “I don’t. But you know who he wants to put up? Jason.”
Angela: “Mallory? Wait, Mallory? I kind of like Mallory.”
Dee: “Well, she f***ing hates me.”
Angela: “No, she doesn’t. I don’t think she does.”
Dee: “I know, I know.”
Angela: “She’s not that big of a factor. Okay — Jason.”
Dee: “Jason.”
Angela: “But I love Lala too.”
Dee: “I know, me too.”
Angela: “She’s a big shield. But I don’t think she’ll go home.”
Dee: “I don’t think she’ll go home either.”
Angela: “Who’s he backdooring?”
Dee: “I don’t know. He just told me that quick, and I was like, whatever you want to do.”
Angela: “I’m thinking he’s going to do Yash.”
Dee: “No, he’s not going to do Yash. They think they got Yash. They’re not going to do Yash.”

Dee: “We have to sit down and go one by one and regroup the connections. Because right now, I’m noticing Chuk is trying to pull in Lyric.”
Angela: “I don’t like that.”
Dee: “I don’t like that either.”
Angela: “Why are you not putting her up?”
Dee: “She’s nothing, but she’s not a threat.”
Dee: “We need to influence Kamu to put up people that we know can come back to us.”

1:05 am LALA and Kamu
Kamu: “Miss Ooh La La, let’s talk some game. Where is your head at? What are you thinking with things? How do you feel? Are you comfortable? Talk to me.”
Lala: “Where I am right now — I’m not really a target for anybody, that I know of. I’m hanging. I’m doing what I have to do. Talking to everybody. I mean, I’m here. So I don’t know exactly what to say or do.”
Kamu: “Where are you at and how are you feeling now that Rome is gone? Can you talk to me about where you’re at while Rome was still here, and then where you’re at game-wise now that he’s gone? Because the perception was that you were working very, very closely with Rome, and I think that’s why when Rome’s game kind of got blown up, it hit you really hard. You and I have never talked game before — this is the first time. But the perception was that you were working very closely with Rome, and that’s why when he said, hey, protect Lyric and protect Jason, it hit you hard. And rightfully so, if you thought that you were in a really tight alliance with Rome, and then you kind of felt backstabbed. But can you explain where you’re at now?”
Lala: “It hurt my feelings, because we had been talking the whole time. Yes, we were working together. I think what it was was the fact that he’s supposed to be really great in competitions and la-la-la, and we just hit it off. We kind of hit it off immediately. And so when that happened at the table, I was blindsided. I can’t even describe it. My feelings were just really, really, really hurt. To the point where — I don’t cry like that. And I really cried. I was just like, wow, okay.”
Lala: “Since that day, I told him — listen, you can say what you want to say. Tell me whatever you want to tell me. But I said, I don’t trust you. I don’t trust anything you say. I just don’t.”
Lala: “And at this point, I’m just like, I don’t really have necessarily anybody to trust. Me and Angela are cool. Me and Angela are really, really cool.”
Kamu: “Oh my gosh, I love her. I had low expectations, because I watched her season and I was like, oh man, this girl’s kind of crazy. But after getting to know her, I have been so pleasantly surprised, and my whole perception of who she is has flip-flopped on its head in the best way possible. She’s amazing.”
Lala: “When she first came in and I saw her, I was like, oh, I know the first person we get out. I was like, oh, she got to go. She got to go.”
Lala: “And knowing her and talking to her and her and I having conversations — Angela is a person who I will have in my life forever. Not only because of the fact that we are both older or what have you, that’s not really the case, but because she is totally not who she was on that season. They totally painted her as somebody different. And she knows she was different. I call it — I said, this is your redemption phase. You coming to redeem yourself. I understand what you’re doing, girl.”
Lala: “As far as gameplay is concerned, I know that she wants to go far. I know that she’s in this game to win, and I’m totally with her. I’m like, girl, yes. Girl power.”
On the lone vote to keep Rome.
Kamu: “I thought that it was Lyric. And honestly, I would have been happy if it was Lyric.”
Lala: “I knew it was Lyric. There was no doubt in my mind that it was Lyric.”
Kamu: “And then she was like, it was not me. I was surprised. I would have been happy. Because actually, when I heard that it was 12 to 1, I was honestly like, that’s so cool. She voted for him. She stayed with him. Despite what the rest of the house did.”
Lala: “Because that’s what I would do. Totally, I would have done it. Then she was like, I didn’t do it. She’s like, it wasn’t me. So then I’m like, I wonder who did it.”
Kamu: “But it doesn’t change anything.”
Kamu: “The house has kind of voted together the last couple of evictions. And so I want to have conversations with everybody. I want to see what people are saying, where people are leaning. If there’s kind of a common target — if everybody’s like, yo, this person’s rubbing me the wrong way, or this person keeps ruffling feathers or whatever.”
Kamu: “I was looking forward to talking to you because we haven’t talked game yet. You and Angela are like the moms of the house. So I just want to pick your brain, find out where you are. Is there anything you have for me?”
Lala: “This is separate from game actually. It’s just the fact that you are who you are. And I really appreciate you as a young man who is just in your walk. In your motivation. And I’m telling you this not because I’m sitting here in the HOH room, but telling you this as Kamuela, who you know I adore. And I just thank you so much for your motivation. Because it means a lot to me.”
Kamu: “That means a lot to me. Thank you so much.”
Kamu: “If you had anything else, feel free. We could talk again tonight. We’ll talk again tomorrow. Like I said, I’m going to try to talk to everybody who wants to have a conversation. And then I’m going to sleep on it and come up with something tomorrow.”
Kamu: “Do you know who wants to come in next? Are they all kind of waiting up here?”
Lala: “I believe Mallory.”
Where it stands. Kamu’s taken the HOH and is running the room one at a time into the early morning, and his stated method is to let the one-on-ones surface a common target rather than lead with his own — then sleep on it. Both women in front of him are selling the same thing: that the Rome association was never an alliance and shouldn’t follow them. Taylor’s already banked safety, and she’s quietly told the HOH she’d rather not be tied to Lala game-wise. Lala walked in saying she doesn’t have anybody to trust besides Angela.

1:34 am Melody and Kamu
Kamu: “I want to run this because I don’t want to take up so much of your time. You already know you’re good. But I do want to talk to you about who I’m considering — please keep this between us, okay?”
Kamu: “Mallory.”
Melody: “Yeah, I kind of was assuming.”
Kamu: “I honestly really like Mallory. I think she’s funny, super bubbly personality. We get along well. But I heard that she had mentioned me. I heard she mentioned putting me up on the block if she were to win HOH. Me, Chuk, Haley. I also heard that she mentioned putting up the three icons. I also heard that she mentioned possibly throwing up Barrett. And it’s like, if you throw my name out, I have to put you up. I have to. It would be dumb of me to not put somebody up who is publicly telling people she would put me up. She’s forcing my hand.”
Kamu: “Dude, I love Mallory.”
Kamu: “I’m not going to tell anybody outside of the people that I’m working with. The people that I’m considering putting up, I’m going to talk to them tomorrow. I’m not going to talk to them tonight, because I don’t want them freaking out — now it’s a whole thing, they don’t sleep and then they wake up tomorrow scrambling. I want everyone to be pretty relaxed. I’ll tell them before the Nomination Ceremony.”
Melody: “I think that’s smart.”
Melody: “Especially with the three nominations and shit. That’s a lot.”
Kamu: “And possibly four. And that would freaking suck.”
Kamu: “Anyways, the other person is Jason. And that’s because Jason also threw my name out.”
Melody: “If I would have won HOH — same.”
Kamu: “I think he’s kind of an obvious choice, because he put himself on an island. He pissed off the girls. He pissed off the guys. And he’s winning a lot, he’s kind of being a comp beast. But what I will tell him is, dude, listen, I respect you, and I’ll give you two chances to take yourself off the block. He’ll have to beat me in the veto to do it. But if he doesn’t, then he’ll at least have the Blockbuster.”
Kamu: “He mentioned my name, so to put two people up who mentioned my name I think is a very reasonable thing to do.”
Kamu: “And then lastly, I’m still kind of considering the third nominee, but I’m leaning towards Lala. Because she was the second person I talked to, after Taylor. That’s the first time we’ve ever talked game. And I also am aware that she’s been in a couple other alliances that didn’t include me.”
Kamu: “We gotta do what’s best for us. We gotta protect us, we gotta protect Drew, we gotta protect Yash, we gotta protect our people.”
Kamu: “I did tell Lyric — look, I’m not putting you up. However, we have to make sure that nobody takes themselves down. Because if somebody does, I may have to put somebody on the block who everybody likes, who nobody would vote out. So I’m not putting you up, you can rest. But we have to make sure that nobody wins the veto.”
Kamu: “I have to put somebody up that I can ensure will stay. Lyric is not a threat.”
Melody: “Everybody likes her.”
Kamu: “Everybody likes her — and everybody potentially who will be on the block sitting next to her goes. And I would have to make sure that happened. But I told her, let’s just hope that nobody wins the veto. Let’s just hope that I win the veto. Or somebody else who will keep noms the same.”
Melody: “Which, of course, if I get picked for the veto and I win, I would keep it the same.”
Kamu: “I appreciate it. I trust you.”
Kamu: “All I’ve been doing so far, besides you, because we’re working together, is asking questions and letting people talk. I’m just sitting there listening, getting as much info as I can.”
Kamu: “Lyric said, I love Mallory, we’re super close, she’s somebody I’d hang out with back home. But she said we don’t really talk game. I said, Lyric, who are you talking game with? She said she used to talk game with Jason and Rome.”
Melody: “I’d always be like, hey, you and Rome talk game, right? Can we get something done? She’s like, no, no, we don’t.”
Kamu: “Well, maybe Rome was telling her not to tell anybody.”
Kamu: “I don’t think Lyric is lying. Maybe she is, but I’m not getting that vibe.”
Kamu: “And she was like, I don’t trust Jason anymore. She goes, I feel like Jason would throw him under the bus. Nobody trusts Jason.”
Melody: “I feel the same way. I feel like everybody feels like that.”
Kamu: “I asked Lyric — she was like, I’m really close with Mallory. I said, what about Melody? She’s like, no, I like Melody. She goes, but Melody told me that we should start distancing ourselves from Mallory. Is that true?”
Melody: “Yeah, no, I did.”
Kamu: “So Lyric told me that you said that to her. And I guess Mallory is also a little bit hesitant to work with you, because she’s upset that you made the comment, when she was up on the block, that if you were to win the Power of Veto you may not use it on her.”
Melody: “Yeah, and I told Mallory that to her face.”
Kamu: “But since then, now she kind of has her walls up with you. All I’m saying is that if I were you, I would be very careful with Mallory.”
Melody: “No, I think so too.”
Kamu: “Let’s say I do put her up. Let’s say she were to go home this week. I don’t think that’d be the worst thing for your game. In fact, if anything, you could probably really pull Lyric a lot closer to you, because now Mallory wouldn’t be here.”
Melody: “I completely agree.”
Melody: “And I love Mallory to death, truly as a person. She’s probably the closest girlfriend I have in the house. And it sucks. I feel like we’re really similar. But I told all of these things to Mallory’s face because I respect her. I told her, if I win the veto, I’m not using it on you. I’m not using it on anybody. Because you did XYZ. I told you to hone it in. You didn’t. I don’t know what the f*** you’re doing.”
Melody: “I want to go far in this game with people that I want to play with, and I can’t deal with Mallory acting like this, dude. I just can’t.”
Kamu: “She fell apart when she got nominated.”
Melody: “And she was just saying all the wrong shit. She was throwing out like 50 names. After she got nominated — well, it should have been Kamu, or it should have been Ashley, or Barrett. And there’s the whole house around.”
Kamu: “It’s not smart. Because honestly, no joke — had she not mentioned my name, there’s a good chance she would not even be considered going up on the block.”
Kamu: “If I end up putting her up, I will give her a heads up, and I’m going to tell her: Mallory, I really like you and I’ve always messed with you. But I cannot hear from multiple sources that you are mentioning my name and not put you up. And if you weren’t so vocal about putting me up on the block, then we wouldn’t even be having this conversation. Because there are bigger fish to fry than Mallory. But if the bigger fish aren’t coming after me, then why would I take that shot right now? We’re not even at jury.”
Melody: “It’s week three.”
Kamu: “I feel like she’s kind of shot herself in the foot.”
Melody: “And she just keeps doing it. Even right after veto, she was like, I’m going to put XYZ up on the block.”
Kamu: “Give it to yourself, or have a one-on-one private conversation with your closest ally. Don’t be in the kitchen being like, I’m going to throw up Kamu, Haley, Chuk, and I’m going to also throw up Dee, Devens, Angela, and Barrett. We’re all sitting around the table.”
Kamu: “I could tell when I got HOH. You see who’s happy and you see who’s fake happy. And then you see who’s like — oh shoot. And she was kind of like, oh shoot.”
Melody: “I’ve just been distant from both of them. Because even when you got HOH, I could tell Mallory was kind of like… And I also was like, yeah, dude, I don’t know either. I’m really nervous.”
Melody: “I’m so stoked for you, dude.”
Kamu: “You deserve this. I’m so stoked that you’re still here.”
Melody: “Blessed day.”
Kamu: “Amen.”

1:52 am Drew and Kamu
Kamu: “I’m not allowed to tell you that you’re going up — but I am allowed to tell you that I’m considering putting you up.”
Kamu: “I told you I’m thinking about nominating already. Freaking Mallory, Jason, blah blah. I think it’s a lock. All I’m trying to do at this point is ask a lot of questions and get as much information as I can gather. I want to just let people talk.”
Kamu on Lyric: “She was like, I don’t just want to talk game. I just want to talk to you. And I said, you’re my roommate, we’ll have plenty of time to talk. And I stood up. And she’s like, oh, you’re kicking me out. I’m like, no, no, I just got to make sure I give everybody time. So I open up the door, she walks into the room with you guys, she’s like, he kicked me out.”
Kamu: “I don’t think she should go this week, though.”
Drew: “And I also don’t think Lala should go this week.”
Kamu: “She’s not my target. I don’t want either of them to go.”
Drew: “Would you be opposed to putting Lyric up as a pawn immediately?”
Kamu: “To try to backdoor somebody?”
Drew: “Maybe backdoor. Because listen, I have faith that you can win the veto.”
Kamu: “It’s not a bad idea. What you’re saying is not a bad idea, because I am playing in the veto, and Lyric would be easier to beat than Jason.”
Drew: “And then you make sure that Mallory doesn’t win. She stays there. And then you have a Mallory versus Jason Blockbuster.”
Kamu: “Let’s say I don’t win the veto — all I would need is somebody to use it. Even if she does, I could backdoor Jason, I guess is what I’m saying.”
Drew: “And if Jason went home…”
Kamu: “It’s a very successful [HOH]. I would want Mallory to stay on the block so we have a Mallory-Jason [Blockbuster].”
Drew: “I’m not trying to tell you what to do on your HOH.”
Kamu: “I’m going to talk to Dee and maybe Devens, because they’re good strategists too.”
Drew: “But I would never put you up anyways.”
Kamu on what Lyric told him: she named an alliance called the Love Triangle, and that she’s there for the vibe — not a threat, and she’d vote with the house.
Kamu: “I like where your head’s at, dude. And I’m still doing that, but I am considering backdooring Jason. And maybe just putting Lyric up first.”
Drew: “I love this part of the game, bro. Let me know what you want to do. I’m rocking with you.”
Kamu: “Bro, of course I’m rocking with you. Never be like, oh hey man, it’s your HOH. Dude, I want to always be able to bounce ideas back and forth.”
Drew: “Next week when I’m in here, I want you to be like, this is the plan.”
Kamu: “Can you get Devens, please?”

2:08 am Kamu & Mallory
Mallory: “Congratulations again, by the way. That was meant for you, that competition.”
Kamu: “I would have never been able to live it down back home if I didn’t win the comp that had a boxing ring in the backyard.”
Kamu: “Do you want any of these, by the way?”
Mallory: “I’m a Have-Not.”
Kamu: “I’m sorry for offering.”
Mallory: “No, it’s okay. I probably did that to you a million times.”
Kamu: “How are you feeling game-wise? Where’s your head at with things? And just so you know, I’m not making any decision tonight. I just want to talk to everybody, see where everybody’s heads are at. I’m going to sleep on things tonight and probably have some more conversations in the morning. I don’t want you to feel like there’s a lot of pressure here.”
Mallory: “First — you’re not somebody that I would put up, or put up as a renom. Things change every week. If you were to ask me the first week if I would put up Jason, I would say no. But after everything that happened with Devens, I’m kind of leaning a little bit towards yes.”
Kamu: “You’re not alone in that. When I’ve had conversations with other people, he’s kind of the common person that people keep saying — probably Jason. He burned the women. He upset the men. He lied to the guys. I kind of feel like he’s a little bit on an island of his own.”
Mallory: “And I like him a lot.”
Kamu: “Everybody does. Me too.”
Mallory: “He’s such a great guy, but I think he played a little messy. It seemed like he was playing messy to everybody, so I’m not even really sure who he was being true to. So it’s hard to really know where he’s at.”
Kamu: “Now that Rome’s gone — obviously you are very close with Lyric, Lyric is very close with Rome. I know the perception from the house was, okay, Mallory must be close with Rome because she’s close with Lyric, who’s close with Rome, so they must all be working together. I don’t mean guilty, but guilty by association because of Lyric?”
Mallory: “Honestly, we weren’t working together. But I could totally see if people would think that. By association is a perfect word. I’m good friends with Lyric, so I’m good for Lyric’s game. At least this early, it would make sense for Rome to want me here. So I trusted that if he was HOH, he wouldn’t put me on the block.”
Mallory: “I didn’t talk a lot of game with him, really, up until he was on the block.”
Kamu: “Up until the house basically exploded a week ago.”
Mallory: “I didn’t even know he was friends with Jason. I knew they worked out together — but if Rome got to pick two people to keep safe, I would have guessed Lyric. I wouldn’t have guessed Jason.”
Kamu: “I was actually caught off guard by that too. I probably would have guessed Lala, to be honest with you.”
Kamu: “I had a conversation with Lyric 20, 30 minutes ago and she was saying that too — that she feels relieved in a sense that he’s gone, because now she’s not tied to the showmance and she can be free.”
Mallory: “I think it’s a little bit better for Lyric’s game. And I was nervous of him kind of putting a target on me, just by association with Lyric.”
Kamu: “I’m bummed on a human level that he’s gone. Game-wise, we weren’t working super close.”
Mallory: “That whole Nomination Ceremony — I was like, wow, I didn’t know, honestly.”
Kamu: “Because Lyric didn’t tell you.”
Mallory: “Yeah, I don’t think Lyric knew either.”
Later, on who she’d target if she won.
Mallory: “If I had won this week, I would put up Dee. One, easy, because she nominated me. Two, because I think Devens will win the power this week, and I want Dee gone before she can win hers.”
Where it stands. Kamu’s plan is Mallory and Jason, with Lala penciled in third — Mallory and Jason both purely because they threw his name out publicly. He’s briefed Melody and Drew and won’t tell the nominees until tomorrow, so nobody loses sleep. Then Drew moved the week: put Lyric up as a pawn instead, win the veto, backdoor Jason, and engineer a Mallory-versus-Jason Blockbuster. Kamu liked it enough to send for Devens. And the whole time, Mallory sat across from him promising she’d never put him up and naming Dee as her target — with no idea she’s already at the top of his list for having said the opposite where the whole house could hear.

2:27 am HOH Kamu and Devens
Kamu relayed what Jason had told him earlier: that he has no alliance and not much to offer. Then he walked Devens through the shape of the week — Lyric, Lala and Mallory up, win the veto, pull Lyric down, send Jason up in her place, and let Jason and Mallory fight it out in the Blockbuster. Devens was in immediately. He brought up his own history with Lyric, having nominated her and then taken her down with the veto, and that she’d pledged loyalty to him afterward — whether or not that’s worth anything. He told Kamu to let him know if he needed him to do or say anything. Kamu sent for Dee next.

2:30 am Kamu, Dee, Halley and Angela
On Taylor, after Haley floated her as the backdoor.
Kamu: “Personally, I don’t want to burn that bridge with her. When I have other options in the future, we can take that shot — and you can take that shot if you want.”
Haley: “I want to be the person to put Lala back up again. I like Taylor. That’s why I was like, okay, don’t send Lala home. We can send Taylor home. But I know you like Taylor.”
Angela: “Taylor is amazing. But don’t let her fool you. She knows this game. She’s a very bright woman. And I just see her going a long distance and possibly winning this whole thing. That’s my only thing. But there’s still a lot of people, it’s early game. But don’t let it slip through the cracks.”
Haley: “I’m f***ing pissed. I said nutter butters — not even nutty buddies.”
Dee: “That’s what we’ve been bullshitting about, because we thought it was nutty. Oh no, it’s different.”
Kamu: “So anyways, my priority is the Tool Shed alliance, right? We have eight people.”
Angela: “That’s huge.”
Kamu: “Yeah, that’s pretty big. It’s almost half — because we started with 17.”
Angela: “Do you realize what you’ve done? You literally tore apart a huge alliance single-handedly.”
Kamu: “I don’t know if I’d say single-handedly.”
Angela: “No, I’m going to say you did. I looked at you two men and I knew who I wanted to follow. I made the right choice all along. Just looking at your eyes, I knew you were the right person. You’re not a bullshitter. You’re not somebody who’s just trying to smile his way all through everything and be all charming to everyone. You’re just genuine. And I know that’s somebody I want to work with.”
Kamu: “I appreciate it.”
Angela: “I am so proud of you for seeing everything the way that it was. I watched you literally take care of it.”
Kamu: “Thank you, Mama Ange.”
Angela: “I love what you did by coming together and doing what you needed to do just to make a little peace in the house. Honestly, I’m not trying to brown nose you. I’m really not. I just want you to know — I chose the right person. The right people in this group. I feel so lucky. And this is the way that Big Brother is supposed to be played. And I’m so happy that this time around, I’m getting that opportunity finally.”
Kamu: “And I love that we get to do this with you too. You’re a legend of the game. So this is exciting for us.”
Angela: “This couldn’t have come at a better time for you, because there are other people outside of this Tool Shed alliance that are going to be easy for you to do what you need to do. And I know you’ll handle it well. And I will follow you. And I will protect you.”
Kamu: “I know you will. As I will. I believe you.”

Kamu on how he’s been running the night: “[I’ve been telling] everybody outside of the people that I’m working with that I’m not making any decision tonight — that I want to see where everybody’s head’s at, and then sleep on the information that I get and make a decision tomorrow.”
Kamu: “So I just talk to her and say, how do you feel now that Rome’s gone? I know that you were really close with Rome. How do you feel as far as your spot in the house? All I’ve been doing tonight, I’ve just been asking questions and letting people talk.”
Kamu: “So what Drew had said was — he goes, what if we backdoor Jason? We put up Lyric, because Lyric is easy to beat. I’m in the veto. I’m going to try to win the veto. And then what we do is we take Lyric down, then we put Jason up — because now we’re only giving Jason one opportunity to save himself in the Blockbuster instead of two. Because he won’t be able to play the veto. We’re going to backdoor him just like we did with Rome.”
Kamu: “And then what happens is, ideally, Mallory or Jason ends up going home.”
Kamu: “Mallory is not as much of a phys— I mean, she did win the Back to the Future competition, but she’s not a physical threat like Jason. Jason’s more of a physical threat. Mallory, though, is smart. And she has the ability to win competitions.”
Kamu on what Mallory told him: “I asked her, I said, you do not have to answer this question if you don’t want to. If you feel uncomfortable, that’s fine, don’t answer the question. However, I am curious where your head’s at. If you were to win HOH this week, who would you consider nominating? And again, no pressure. And she goes, between us? She goes, I think I’d put up the Survivor people. She goes, I think I’d put up Dee and Devens and Jason. Because she doesn’t trust Jason.”
Kamu: “And she said, here’s why. She goes, Angela is a former player. She had the ability to play for power because America voted for her. The Survivor people are coming from Survivor. They also have fan bases who are probably going to also vote for them. And so she goes, there’s a good chance that Devens plays for power this week and maybe Dee the following. And she’s like, I want to take them out before they have the opportunity to win power.”
Angela: “Wow. Yeah, she is smart.”
Kamu: “It’s very smart, right?”
Kamu: “So if we get rid of Jason or Mallory, that’s a dub. We get rid of either a physical threat or a mental threat. But we don’t put Jason up first. We give him the Rome treatment. We backdoor him. We put up Lyric first, who is much easier to beat. And then I’m going to try to win the veto and then take Lyric down.”
Angela: “Are you gonna tell her in the beginning — Lyric — like, between me and you, this has to stay between us? You’re just a pawn.”
Kamu: “Yeah, I’m gonna tell her, so that she’s not really upset throughout the house. But you tell her not to tell her friends… I don’t know. Should you even do that? I don’t even know. I’m just spitballing.”
Haley: “I would just say the showmance. Here’s the drama that just happened — so now that she’s out of the showmance, she is now [on the block].”

Where it stands. Kamu’s stated priority to the room is the Tool Shed, eight people out of a starting seventeen, and the plan he’s landed on is Drew’s: Lyric, Lala and Mallory on the block, win the veto, pull Lyric down, backdoor Jason so he only gets one shot at saving himself instead of two. Either Jason or Mallory going home counts as a win by his math — physical threat or mental threat, take your pick. The friction in the room is Taylor: Haley wants her backdoored and Angela agrees she’s the long-game danger, but Kamu won’t burn that relationship and told them to take the shot themselves if they want it. And he’s now told the group exactly what Mallory said in confidence — that she’d target Dee and Devens before their fanbases can hand them a Time Capsule power.

2:51 am Kamu, Chuk, Barrett & Yash
Kamu: “So basically, there are two different scenarios that we’re kind of playing out right now. I had one scenario that I was initially thinking and leaning towards. Then I had a conversation with Drew. And then I think I’m actually leaning that way.”
Kamu: “Scenario number one. We put up Mallory, Jason, Lala.”
Yash: “That, in my head, is what I would have imagined.”
Barrett: “That’s great.”
Kamu: “And here’s why. Mallory has mentioned my name. Jason, during the blow-up last week, he mentioned my name. He mentioned yours as well.”
Kamu: “Lala — until tonight, she was the only person in the entire house, bro, that never talked game with me once. And I am also aware, based off of other conversations, that she was and is in multiple alliances that I’m not in. So for me, that’s reason enough. She is not talking game with me, but she’s obviously talking game with other people. So what does that tell me? I can’t work with her.”
Yash: “Probably Taylor and Jason. Guaranteed.”
Kamu: “Then Drew was like, hey, what if we backdoor Jason? So we take Jason, and right now we just have Mallory and Lala, but we put up somebody easy that we can beat. Boom — like Lyric.”
Chuk: “It’s perfect, because Jason has shown he’s a great competitor.”
Kamu: “We don’t want to give him another chance.”
Yash: “Agreed.”
Kamu: “Okay, so we give him the Rome treatment. So we go Mallory, Lala, Lyric.”
Chuk: “And he’s playing the veto.”
Kamu: “I’m playing the veto too. So I’m going to try to win the veto. And hopefully somebody in the Tool Shed will also be called.”
Yash: “Any one of them would use it too. If they win it, they’re going to use it.”
Kamu: “Exactly. You have people who would ride.”
Kamu: “Now here’s the worst case scenario. Let’s say Mallory wins. Takes herself off. We put up Jason. So now we have Lala, Lyric, Jason. And then Jason wins. And now, dude, it’s freaking Lala and Lyric.”
Yash: “But then we still send Lala home.”
Kamu: “We send Lala home, but it’s a weak move.”
Chuk: “It’s a weak move because she’s not an imminent competitor.”
Barrett: “Even Jason and Lala would at least give you more options, or at least more likely to get a competitor.”
Kamu: “That would be the worst case scenario. But here’s the thing — we have to take our shots. So there’s an option that the worst case happens and Lala goes home even though she’s not really the target. It’s still a number. Best case scenario, we take out Jason or Mallory.”
Kamu: “Jason is a physical threat, but he has nowhere to go right now. Even when he was up here, he’s like, I have no alliance, I have nothing to offer you, I’m willing to work with you. He’s got nowhere to go. F*** that, I don’t buy that for a second. And I’m not interested in all that.”
Kamu: “Between Mallory and Jason, Jason is more likely to win a competition and to win power. He’s more likely to become HOH. And a Jason HOH, I’m not interested in. At all.”
Kamu: “But arguably even more dangerous, at least for the people that we’re working with, is a Mallory HOH. When Mallory was in here, I asked her — hey listen, you don’t have to tell me this. If you feel uncomfortable giving me your answer, that’s fine. But where is your head at in the game? And if you were to win HOH, who would you be thinking about putting up? I said, but you don’t have to answer that if you don’t want to.”
Yash: “Tell me she did.”
Kamu: “She did. And she goes, well, I’d put up Jason. And I’d probably put up the two Survivors.”
Kamu: “And here’s why. She’s like, Angela just got voted to play for power by America. Angela had a fan base before the season started, from her last season. Now you have the two Survivors coming in, and they’re bringing their fan bases with them. So there’s a good chance that Devens gets to play for power this week, and then maybe Dee next week. And I want to take the Survivors out before that happens.”
Kamu: “So that’s not good for us.”
Yash: “At all. Because we’re working with Dee. We’re working with Devens.”
Kamu: “But she’s smart. Honestly, bro, that’s a good strategy. She’s a smart girl.”
Kamu: “Mallory has shown that she is a competent competitor by winning the Back to the Future comp. And she’s smart. And she’s not afraid to make moves. For her to tell me, like, I would put up Jason and the two Survivors — that’s a big move. And if she’s willing to put them up, she’s willing to put any of us up.”
Yash: “The move itself is big, but her also fing telling you is also a big move. Like, bold move.”
Chuk: “But also another great rookie mistake.”
Yash: “I don’t think it’s dumb, just because she just doesn’t give a f. Like, her strat is not giving a f***.”
Yash: “So then the question becomes — because we need one of those two going home — in which scenario is the probability the highest for at least one of them to go?”
Chuk: “Relying on rolling the dice for that second one Drew gave you, and hoping someone from the Tool Shed is pulled.”
Kamu: “But it’s not even just Jason. Let’s say we go with scenario one, which is what I was initially leaning towards. Lala, Jason, Mallory. Let’s say Jason wins the veto. And now Mallory wins the Blockbuster. Dude, now again, we’re looking at a freaking Lyric-Lala duo.”
Yash: “I think Scenario 2 is the better one. I think Scenario 2 is the best.”
Chuk: “I like giving Jason one chance.”
Kamu: “Because he’s showing that he can play.”
Barrett: “It’s kind of like last week. All you have to do is get good veto picks, and then you can guarantee that the veto is going to be used no matter what happens. And then hopefully just Mallory doesn’t win.”
Yash: “The probability is higher because we don’t have to beat Lyric and Lala. Because if they win, they’re going to use it on themselves. We don’t have to actually beat them.”
Kamu: “Exactly right.” Then: “I’m not too confident in Lyric’s ability to compete. Lala, though, maybe. She’s tough.”
Kamu: “The other risk that we do have is that Jason gets pulled for the veto.”
Yash: “That is another risk. But we take that. We run that.”
Kamu: “But here’s what happens. If Jason wins, what does he do, bro? He uses it on Lala. He doesn’t use it on Mallory, so we keep Mallory on the block. But then Mallory is still gonna be up there against Lyric. I’d have to put another person up. And I would also want it to be somebody who could beat Mallory in a Blockbuster.”
Yash: “It’s like almost accepted risk.”
Kamu: “No, it is. And I was talking to Drew about that too. And he said almost word for word what you said. He’s like, dude, if we’re going with probabilities, we have to make this move.”
Kamu: “We have to be confident in our ability to compete, too. I’m still in there, man. And I beat Jason tonight. I can beat Jason on Saturday.”
Kamu: “But the goal at the end of this week is to send Mallory or Jason home. And then it’s a successful week.”
Chuk: “Major success.”
Yash: “That’s a major threat gone, both in terms of competition and in terms of who would put our asses up.”
Chuk: “There is that fear with Jason going into these comps, just because he’s come second, he’s come first. But with him constantly going into competitions and constantly throwing his ass up trying to save his life — eventually you’re going to fall short. It always happens, man. It happens every season, where someone’s on the block, they fight their way back into the fing house, and it keeps happening. I was telling Barrett while we were waiting — they’re going to fall short.”
Yash: “And even if it doesn’t pan out, we fing win HOH, run it back next week, and put them back in the gauntlet. The more you play with fire, the more odds you’re going to get burned. Even if you survive one time, survive twice, survive three times — the fourth f***ing time.”
Yash: “That’s why I don’t ride roller coasters. Everyone says nobody dies on a roller coaster.”
Yash: “Keep putting them in the gauntlet and they will feel it. It’s only a matter of time, especially with how random the BB comps are.”
Yash: “Even I was down there just now hanging out in the hot tub, and Mallory was bugging, bro. She was low-key bugging. She was like, guys, I really don’t feel good about going [up].”
Kamu: “Wait, before or after?”
Yash: “Just now. I left the tub to come up here. And look, she was talking to Melody too.”
Kamu: “I’m like, good. Keep that energy. Don’t feel good.”
Kamu: “I’m going to give all of my heads up tomorrow. I’m going to talk to Lala. I’m going to talk to Lyric.”
Kamu: “Dude, I kind of feel bad for Lyric, because I told her, hey, you’re good. Initially, because I was not planning on putting her up. But then I had a conversation with Drew. And the more I talk about it, the more I like the idea of it.”
Kamu: “But I’m going to assure her — Lyric, you are a pawn. You will not be going home. In fact, the only reason why I’m even putting you up is because I need somebody that the house will not vote against up on the block. Which is the truth. I need to ensure that either Jason or Mallory goes home.”
Kamu: “I’m not going to tell her that, though, right off the bat, because dude, she loves Mallory. She’s so close to Mallory.”
Yash: “Don’t tell her the plan, but assure her she’s safe.”
Kamu: “And I think that’s the right way to do it. I’m just going to be like — Lyric, I need you to trust me. I really need you to trust me on this. It’s going to be a little bit of a hard week. You have to trust the plan, though. You’re going to be okay.”
Chuk: “I like that you’re going to tell her it’s going to be a hard week.”
Kamu: “I’m going to talk to Lala tomorrow too, man. That’s going to be a tough conversation. I already know that.”
Chuk: “That’s going to be a lot, because she came in — she thinks she can cook her way to the end. She’s mentioned it. She’s mentioned it with me. I’m like, we don’t give a damn.”
Kamu: “Real talk though. I’ll tell Lala — Lala, listen, you are not my target. Which is the truth.”
Kamu: “She told me the thing that bothered her with Rome is that she thought she was tighter with Rome than she was. And when everything blew up and she heard that Rome told Devens, hey, just protect Lyric and protect Jason — it hurt her feelings. And then Devens said that he wasn’t going to put up Rome, but then he did put up Rome. She said, I just want there to be some sort of honesty. And I told her, me too. I like honesty as well.”
Kamu: “I’ll tell her, hey Lala, we have to have a tough conversation. Got to rip the Band-Aid off. Dude, it’s Big Brother. These conversations have to happen sometimes.”
Kamu: “But I also want to give her a heads up to hopefully gain some points with her, and say — hey, another thing, you’re kind of ruffling feathers a little bit, because sometimes your personality is a bit abrasive with people. And if houseguests are awake and they’re talking and she’s trying to sleep and she’s pissed about it — not a good look. That kind of stuff doesn’t sit well with people, because it makes them want you gone so they don’t have to deal with you anymore.”
Kamu: “Even today when we were all hanging out here in the HOH room and the music’s playing, at one point she ran a little mini house meeting. She’s like, hey, from now on, you guys, with the dishes you guys have to — and with the towels, you’ve got to do the hand towels and hold on to them and take them back with you. No one likes that. Dude, we’re all adults. We don’t want to feel like our mom is nagging us. Those kinds of things will add up.”
Kamu: “I don’t know if it’ll be well-received, because I’m putting her up. But I want to be honest with her, give her some advice. Hopefully that’ll cushion the blow a little bit, but this needs to happen.”
Yash: “All of us would use it. Haley, Angela, Dee would use it. Lyric, Mal and Lala are all competing, so they would use it on themselves.”
Kamu: “Taylor would use it on Lala.”
Yash: “What would Melody do?”
Kamu: “Melody would use it. On Lyric — if I told her to. Dude, Melody and I are cool.”
Yash: “I think we’re locked. As long as Jason doesn’t get picked, he doesn’t f***ing win.”
Kamu: “As long as Mallory does not win veto, then either her or Jason goes home. Guaranteed. And we gotta hope that Jason doesn’t get picked for the veto. We can’t control that — but even if Jason does get picked, we beat him.”
Yash: “I love that gameplay. Dude, I’m so fing glad I came up.”
Kamu: “Hey, can you guys do me a favor? Can you guys call Drew up here? Last time I talked to him, I was still going back and forth between either putting Jason up first or backdooring him. But I want to give him the update.”
Kamu: “Dude, let’s fing run this, bro. Let’s have another good week.”
Kamu: “Hey, can you guys be low-key about it? I mean, with Drew. I just don’t want to draw too much attention to it.”
After the others leave.
Chuk: “Everything went to plan.”
Kamu: “Yeah, it was good, man. It worked out. Now we just got to execute the veto. And then it’s your guys’ turn next week, because I can’t play.”
Kamu: “Every week, man. Just chipping away. We’re making their side smaller. We’re making our side stronger.”
Chuk: “Mallory looks like she just got blown up. Like she’s scrambling.”
Where it stands. The plan is locked: Mallory, Lala and Lyric on the block, Kamu wins the veto, pulls Lyric down, and Jason goes up with only the Blockbuster left to save himself — the Rome treatment, said out loud. The math they’re comfortable with is that any Tool Shed member drawn for the veto uses it, and the three nominees would only use it on themselves, so Kamu doesn’t actually have to beat Lyric or Lala. The two risks they’ve accepted: Mallory winning the veto, or Jason getting drawn to play. Kamu’s already scripting tomorrow’s damage control — Lyric gets “you’re a pawn, trust the plan,” Lala gets the hard conversation plus unsolicited feedback about the towel meeting. And note who was sitting in the room while he named the Tool Shed and walked through all of it: Yash, who isn’t in it.

3:20 am Storage room Angela, HAley and Dee
Whoever is responsible for bringing Angela back should go to hell.
Haley reads the other side’s order or elimination, Drew is the smartest of them, she trusts Drew though. “He’s always been up front we’ve been cool” then Barrett, then Chuk; “she puts them all as the” same trio, plus Taylor.” Dee’s worry is that they could pick up Lala and Lyric and come after them. Angela wants the numbers: after this week they take out someone from the other side, and if Kamu wants Jason out, fine. Haley says Yash isn’t jumping ship at any point. Angela runs the math — the Tool Shed has eight, the other side has six, and it’s a straggling six. After this week one gets plucked off, five against eight. Every week their odds go up.
Angela: “I’m blonde. We’re just Bubblegum or something.”
Haley: “There’s no Bubblegum. It’s Bubbles.”
Angela: “I’m Bubbles. Buttercup.”
Dee: “Buttercup is which one?”
Haley: “The green one. With the dark hair.”
Angela: “Is that our alliance?”
Dee: “Yeah, but what’s the right one called again?”
Haley: “You can’t use — it’d have to be like the Giggly Girls instead of the Powerpuff Girls.”
Angela: “But we also like talking shit late at night. The Shit Talkers?”
Haley: “We can dream about it.”
Angela: “I’m so tired. My brain’s not working.”
Dee: “But our Halloween costume could be the Powerpuff Girls. I love you girls so much.”

3:28 am Kamu and Drew
Essentially this is Kamu 90% of the time tonight “Dude, this is, bro, this is so sick, dude.”
On the HOH letter.
Kamu: “I told them that. I said, don’t give me anything mushy. Bro, I told my family I wasn’t going to read the letters. I told them straight up — guys, I don’t know if I want to read the letters. And they’re like, no, come on, you have to. I’m like, no, because I don’t want to be out there crying and everything. I want to be locked in, man. And they said, okay, we’ll just give you little updates. We’ll keep it cool. We won’t make it mushy. I told them, I won’t read them if you try to make them mushy.”
Drew: “It was all good vibes. It was like, dude, we got the property.”
Kamu: “I’m so happy about the property. And dude, when they watch us back and they see all you guys cheer about the property, they’re going to love that.”
Kamu on the win: “When somebody wins — I was like, I think I won. And then I saw the camera do like this. And it looked right at me. But you don’t know until you know.” Then: “Devens walks by, and I was like, Devens, you have to announce it first.”
Kamu: “I can’t wait for you to win HOH, because it is a crazy feeling.”
Drew: “I feel so solid with you specifically, but I love our crew. We have a good group, dude.”
Kamu: “It reminds me a lot of the Bomb Squad from season 16.”
Drew: “That’s why — when you kept mentioning 16, I was like, I think this is the dude that I want to lock in with early.”
Kamu: “Dude, we’re Cody and Derrick. We’re Cody and Derrick, and the Tool Shed is the Bomb Squad. We’re the Hitmen, the Tool Shed is the Bomb Squad.”
Kamu: “I’ve already started to think about that, but at the same time I don’t want to get too far ahead. But we do have to plan. So obviously you, me — I know you’re close with Haley and Chuk though, so I’m like, are you gonna pick them over me?”
Drew: “No, dude, I’m not that close with Chuk. We’re cool but we’re not that close. And honestly I’m not super close with Haley. We were tight in the very beginning, because you just gravitate to people.”
Kamu: “So are you thinking?”
Drew: “I’m thinking Yash.”
Kamu: “Exactly. I’m thinking Barrett. Barrett’s like — that could be a good partner to pair up with. Same person. Yash. Are you thinking Yash?”
Drew: “I’m thinking Yash. I’m thinking Devens. And I’m kind of thinking — I love all of them, bro. He’s only good vibes.”
Drew: “He’s our Victoria. The sleeper.”
Kamu: “I think that we would kind of lead that train. And then at some point when it’s time to cut him, we cut him. But I don’t know if I want to get rid of him when we start to get to like the final eight.”
Drew: “Like final ten.”
Kamu: “Well, final ten, we still have two people outside the Tool Shed. Because we have eight in the Tool Shed. But I don’t know if I want to get rid of him, dude.”
Kamu: “What are we doing with Melody? That’s what I want to know. And I trust Melody, and dude, Melody trusts us.”
Kamu: “Here’s what we’re going to have to do, bro. We have to rock with the Tool Shed as long as we can.”
Drew: “I completely agree.”
Kamu: “But then, once we start running out of options on the other side — and dude, we’re low-key kind of getting to that point.”
Drew: “It’s going to be in a week or two.”
Drew: “If I win HOH next week, I’m okay. But if I win the one after that, I got to look at people within. And that’s going to be very, very hard.”
Kamu: “You have to look at people within the Tool Shed, or consider like Melody or Yash. But I don’t know if we cut those ties yet. We have to keep staying cool with everybody. We’re cool with the Tool Shed. We’re cool with Yash. We’re cool with Melody. And we have to just see how the game plays out. We can’t think too far in advance, because next week freaking Jason or Mallory — whichever one doesn’t go home — could win HOH. Now what?”
Drew: “It’s definitely super far down the line. I just always think it’s very interesting to think.”
Drew: “Because I feel like Haley and Chuk are going to be like this.”
Kamu: “I don’t know if they’re as close as we think they are.”
Drew: “Dude, whenever we talk, it’s only you and me. I just want to make sure you know that. I don’t run around and tell Melody. I don’t tell f***ing anybody in the Tool Shed.”
Kamu: “You’re my guy.”
Drew: “Same. Honestly, no joke — you have to have somebody. I’m putting my whole trust and my whole game into your hands. And I hope you do the same.”
Kamu: “100%. I’m completely open, honest with you.”
Kamu: “Honestly dude, after we talked, I talked to everybody else about what you had suggested. And then I wanted to call you back up here, because I wanted to be like — hey, so after talking to everybody else, this is what we’re doing.”
Drew: “Did you say I said it?”
Kamu: “Yeah, I give you credit.”
Drew: “Is that a good thing or a bad thing?”
Kamu: “No — because here’s what I told everybody. I said, look, there are two scenarios that I’m trying to play out right now, and I want to know what you guys think. And after going through the pros and cons of each, everybody was like, let’s backdoor Jason. But I told them, here’s what I was thinking — and then Drew was pitching the idea of putting Lyric up instead and then backdooring Jason.”
Kamu: “I don’t know if you said Lyric, or if you were just talking about backdooring Jason and I said Lyric.”
Drew: “I think you said Lyric.”
Kamu: “You said backdoor Jason. I said put up Lyric.”
Drew: “Yeah, whatever. It was a cheeky collab.”
Kamu: “I watched season 16 on purpose coming in here. Because my strategy was, I want to find one dude I can — I literally told my family this before coming on the show, when they’re asking what’s your strategy. I said, I want to have a big alliance in the beginning, but I want to be really, really tight with one person that I totally trust, and that I want to be in other alliances with. So we have our final two and we’re in the Tool Shed.”
Kamu: “I don’t want to be in a bunch of other side alliances without you, because I don’t want my side alliances to target you.”
Drew: “This week, should we make a — I’m not saying it needs to be you, me, Yash and Melody. We could do trios. I feel like we kind of already have an unspoken thing with Melody, so I don’t even think we should mention it. We’re cool with Melody and Yash, and I think Yash and Melody are also cool. They were talking a lot today.”
Kamu: “I wouldn’t be opposed to putting something together. But we just have to remember — if we are with the Tool Shed and then we also have this side alliance, there will be a time, dude, where we will have to pick a side. Like, look at Vinny last season.”
Kamu: “It’s one thing if we make side alliances with members of the Tool Shed. It’s another thing if we form an alliance with Melody and Yash outside of the Tool Shed. Because now one alliance’s interests may conflict with another’s, and then you’re the middleman, you get screwed, and you have to make a choice, and you piss off half the people that trusted you. And then they win HOH, put you up, and your alliance is like, well, you fing double-dipping.”
Kamu: “I’m not sure I want to cut Melody and Yash right now, but we can stay close with them. I don’t know if we need to lock anything in.”
Drew: “That’s where my head’s at — never say, this is the so-and-sos. Just be like, I got you, bro. You got me. And that works perfect for Yash. I think Yash is a smart dude, but I don’t think he’s a dude that understands that an alliance name means this is solid. He’s kind of a guy who’s like—”
Kamu: “Vibes.”
Drew: “Vibes. That’s the way he works.”
Kamu: “Which is cool. That’s fine. We can rock with that for a while.”
Kamu: “Right now we’re 15, bro. The Tool Shed — we have eight. It’s like half. So we have time. We have weeks. It just gets to the point where there’s going to be a week where there’s one person outside the Tool Shed, which means two people have to go up. And then that’s when you have to pick and choose who’s on the bottom. At that point we’re going to have to have meetings in the Tool Shed and be like, yo — someone’s got to be a pawn.”
Kamu: “That’s what they did with the Bomb Squad too. They put M&Ms in a hat or something. Whoever drew the red M&M — like Russian roulette, a bunch of brown M&Ms and one red one. And they all pulled, and then the red M&M had to go up on the block.”
Drew: “I don’t think that’s a bad thing. Obviously we’re a little far away from that.”
Kamu: “I’m just saying that’s how they handled things when they got to that point. And we may end up having to do something similar, so that nobody’s being singled out and targeted.”
Kamu: “Big Brother is a game of you have to go with the flow, dude. And you have to be willing to make changes literally in an instant, especially when it comes to double eviction.”
Drew: “The second you say I feel safe, I feel good — and someone’s in the DR going, I fing hate so-and-so. But right now, these first three weeks, we’re building trust with a solid group.”
Kamu: “I don’t think the Tool Shed’s falling apart.”
Drew: “I don’t either, dude.”
Kamu: “I think we’re loyal. I think we have a solid group of people, at least as of right now. And if people start acting suspicious, then we cross that bridge when we get there. But as of right now, dude, I rock with the people in the Tool Shed. And bro, I rock with Yash and Melody outside of the Tool Shed.”
Kamu: “Let’s say next week — if anybody in the Tool Shed wins, we’re good. If Melody or Yash wins, we’re good. It’s the people who don’t go home this week. Mallory, Lala, Taylor, Jason. Those are the ones — our individual relationships with those people are going to have to shine through, because that’s what will separate us from everybody else in the alliance.”
Drew: “I think it’s also good that we have some icons, because they kind of work as shields.”
Kamu: “I don’t view them as shields. I view them as very loyal people who I love, and I want to keep riding with them. But if for some reason something doesn’t go our way, they’re good people to have.”
Drew: “Especially for you, bro. Because when it comes to a Mallory, she might be like — icons.”
Kamu: “Put them up.”
Drew: “Can’t wait for tomorrow. You’re going to crush your little speech.”
Kamu: “I’m not even sure what I’m going to say. I don’t think it’s going to be long or theatrical. I think it’s going to be pretty short and sweet.”
Drew: “Are you going to give them a little heads up or no?”
Kamu: “Yeah, I’m gonna give all — maybe in the morning.”

“Bro dude we’re cody and derrick “
Where it stands. Kamu and Drew locked a final two on top of everything else — modeled explicitly on Cody and Derrick, with the Tool Shed cast as the Bomb Squad they’ll eventually dismantle. They’ve already picked who they’d carry — the “Victoria” of the group, in Drew’s words, which from the context reads like Yash — already sketched when the alliance has to start eating itself, and Kamu’s laid out the trap he wants to avoid: a side deal with Melody and Yash that puts him in the middle when the interests collide. Meanwhile Yash spent half an hour in the bathroom teaching Lyric how to survive — diversify past Mallory, stop needing a protector, water every plant — hours after sitting in the HOH room while Kamu named her as the pawn who goes up. And the rogue vote is still nobody’s: Lyric says she voted Rome out and Yash tells her he knows she did.

4:13 am sad

4:20 am Yash and Lyric
Yash: “Who do you feel like you’re closest with in the game?”
Lyric: “Mallory.”
Yash: “I would try to be a little less buddy-to-buddy with Mallory, just because people see it, and it’s almost like they don’t take it serious.”
Yash: “I’m just telling you this because I’d rather you hear it than be oblivious to it. But people view Mallory as a threat. Because she’s not scared to blow this up. She’s open about letting everyone know she’ll blow this up.”
Yash: “So start spending more time, have more conversations with people. And not surface level things. Just be around everyone.”
Yash: “You don’t want to be tied to her and then she gets voted out, and then everyone you’re tied to goes, and you just keep being stranded. You want to be your own person who has your strong alignments.”
Yash: “Think about it — if you had 10 plants on a windowsill, and you only have one pail of water. You water one plant and it’s grown. That’s Mallory. Now the next day comes and you have a new pail of water. That one has leaves. The other ones are not growing. Do you want to water the one with leaves, or do you want to water the other ones?”
Yash: “There’s no right way to do it, but you can’t water all 16 — but don’t just water one. It’s good that you’re close with her, and keep being close with her. But don’t just be close with her.”
Yash: “If you asked everyone in this house, what do you think about Lyric? — Mallory’s name would always be included in that. And it’s not a good thing. Especially if people think she’s a threat.”
Lyric: “Thanks, Yash.”
Lyric: “Obviously tough, because I was closest to Rome. We spent a lot of time getting to know each other. And he made it clear from the get-go he was gonna do whatever it takes to protect me, and that’s super sweet and kind. But now that he’s gone — he’s not here to protect us anymore.”
Yash: “I don’t think you need protection. I think that’s wrong that you even think you need protection. You don’t f***ing need that shit. You need to play your game.”
Lyric: “And that’s why, as terrible as it sounds, Rome leaving does provide me with that opportunity to do it on my own. Because if Rome stayed, people would have used me as a pawn to get at him, and that would have been bad.”
Yash: “Exactly. And you don’t need to be attached to someone to protect you. Create strong relationships, understand some of the things they might need, cater to those needs, and they will come back and look out for you. This game is also just human nature. You’re a dog. You just gotta let it out.”
Yash: “It’s easier to hang out with the people you like all the time. That’s human nature. But easy doesn’t get you anything.”
Lyric: “It’s crazy, though, because when I hang out with Chuk, I get comments like that from Drew. So it’s like, what do you want from me?”
Yash: “Has he been saying that a lot, or was it just that?”
Lyric: “It was the first time.”
Yash: “I’ll tell him. I’ll be like, bro, the message was got. Take it easy, bro.”
Lyric: “I was friends with Chuk prior to this. My relationship with Chuk hasn’t changed because Rome left.”
Yash: “I know Drew. He doesn’t mean bad when he does it. Terrible delivery. But he doesn’t mean bad. I view it as a good thing it came up, because it’s better that someone says it so that you know. And it’s better that he says it, because he doesn’t mean it — as opposed to someone who may not be as nice saying it. They might mean it with insult.”
Yash: “I don’t think it’s the hanging out. I think it’s the flirtiness of it. I’d just flirt a little less.”
Lyric: “Flirtiness? Well, I’m just nice. And I’m sorry if that comes off flirty, but genuinely, I’m just nice.”
Yash: “That’s not me saying it. I’m just saying that’s how it comes across. But keep doing your thing, dude. Again, long game. It’s good to iron out the things early, because you don’t want to find out some of these things later. Every day feels like a week in this house. So things get forgotten very easily. Which is a good thing and a bad thing.”
Yash: “Even if he does put you up, you are not the target. I would assume it’s Mallory.”
Yash: “If Kamu has to put people up, he’s not going to put up any of those people that we think he’s working with. He’s not going to put up me. Who does that leave? Taylor, Lala, you, Jason. I think he’s cool with Taylor. That leaves Lala, you, Jason. Two people gotta go up.”
Yash: “Let’s hope the f*** not, because I don’t actually know what he’s going to do. But just know — you’re good.”
Lyric: “I feel bad about Rome. I feel bad that he stuck his neck out for me and ended up going home. I also feel bad that I voted him out.”
Yash: “It would have been dumb to vote to keep him. No one would blame you. And I know you didn’t. But it would have been dumb to be on the wrong side of the vote. I voted him out too. He’s my best friend in here. I voted him out. Because player and game is separate. He was a terrible player. And he blew up his game. Entirely blew up his game. Great guy, terrible player. So on the game side, I don’t feel bad at all. If anything, I’m kind of upset, because he wasted his game for no reason.”
Lyric: “On a basic human level, anyone who’s gonna go out of their way to stick their neck out for you — it’s gonna be hard when they leave. So obviously I feel bad that he left. But now it’s kind of like, let the games begin for me, right?”
Lyric: “I love Mallory so much, but I understand that she’s a threat.”
Yash: “And it’s good to be attached to a threat at the same time, because as long as she’s there, no one’s going to go for you. Because why get out Lyric when you can get out Mallory? But you don’t want people to be like, her only friend is Mallory.”
Yash: “Water the plants. Little by little. Even if people are hanging in the kitchen, hang in the kitchen with them. If they’re hanging in the tub, hang in the tub with them. Don’t think of it like you have to be their best friends off rip and you have to ditch one friend to be with the other. They’re plants on a windowsill. You gotta water each one. A f***ing hurricane can hit and that plant you have with Mallory ain’t going nowhere. So it doesn’t need water. But there are other plants that probably do.”
Lyric: “This game is tough. I’m so grateful to be here, but it makes you overthink everything. Like why you hang out with, how people perceive you.”
Yash: “Don’t worry about that shit. Control the controllables. The thing you can’t control is how people perceive you. What you can control is what you’re giving them to perceive.”
Lyric: “Right, your actions.”
Yash: “Exactly. I want to see you make it far with me. I know I’m going far. I’m doing it. I want you here with me.”
Yash: “They’re going to wake my ass up in four hours anyway. Whatever, though. I’m chilling like a villain. Tomorrow’s a sunglasses outside type of day.”
Lyric: “Make sure you put a pillow underneath your hip.”
Yash: “It can’t kill my spirit. I might get tired, but you can never kill my spirit. Life is too good for that.”
Lyric: “There’s too many things to be grateful for.”
Yash: “Even that room has pillows and a blanket. Even this cold shower has running water. And even that slop is food on the table. No matter what it is, bro, there’s a lot to be grateful for.”
Lyric: “I love your mindset. My parents teach me to think the same exact way.”
Yash: “It’s the right way to be. And that’s why we’ll make it far in this game. Because of the mind.”
Yash: “Shout out mom and dad. They’re my goats. They’re legends. Dad, if you’re watching this shit, shout out to you, bro. My guy. And then also, to my future wife — if you’re watching this and you want me to take you seriously, DM me a coconut in my Instagram DMs. Could be a coconut emoji. Could be written out. Could be a GIF. DM me that so I know you’re serious.”
Lyric: “And to your parents — you guys raised a freaking fantastic kid.”
Yash: “So how about you win HOH next week?”
Lyric: “I’d love to. How about you?”
Yash: “I’m gonna.”
Lyric: “And are you gonna — you’re going to backdoor me?”
Yash: “How’d you know? Damn it. That’s part of my master plan. Right now, being awake talking to you is part of my backdoor strategy for next week. And the whole world’s going to be like, wow, you’re such a good player for getting that Lyric. And then they’ll be like, you should get the power.”
Lyric: “Why do you say that?”
Yash: “I feel like America is going to vote on narratives. And a love story — that’s the best f***ing narrative.”
Yash: “I think it’s probably either you, Dee or Devens. Because Dee and Devens already have a fan base. Like Angela, she has a fan base. But you have a narrative now. Rome tried to save you, Rome got voted out, he told you he’s in love with you, all that shit, and then he left. If I was at home watching that shit, I would vote for you in a heartbeat.”
Yash: “So be ready. It might happen. And if it happens, come out of there with it.”
Lyric: “You know you’ll be the person I tell it to if I get it.”
Yash: “If you decide to tell me, that’s no pressure at all. I just want you to know, if you get selected to compete in that shit, go bring it home, because you can do it.”
Yash: “By the end of tomorrow, if there’s no costumes and you’re not picked, we’ll know someone has it.”
Lyric: “I’m so grateful to be here, but dang, this game is crazy. I would be devastated if you left or if I left.”
Yash: “I ain’t going nowhere. I’m telling you that right now.”
Lyric: “Obviously people want to see me sad right now, but honestly it’s a blessing, because I’m not going to be attached to someone who was a big target and I’m not going to be thrown up as a pawn. So I’m sorry if I’m not walking with my head down. Also, that’s not me as a person. I’m not going to mope about something like that. I’m so stoked that I’m still here. And Rome wouldn’t want me walking with my head down either. He’d be like, get up and frickin’ fight.”
Yash: “No one’s thinking that, I promise you. No one expects you to be sad, sad. You could see it on your face during the vote that you were sad. That tells everyone what they need to know.”
Lyric: “Well, I voted him out, obviously. It’s not an easy thing to go into the room and vote out the one person who was like, I got you.”
Yash: “And everyone believed you on that, too.”
Lyric: “I don’t lie. That’s one thing about me. It’s hard for me to lie. When I tell people that I’m with you, I trust you — I mean it from the bottom of my heart.”
Yash: “Dude, to these people, don’t even mention the vote. If they bring it up, you tell them the truth. But don’t just say, I promise I didn’t do it. Everyone believes you already. Don’t make it weirder than it has to be.”
Lyric: “Roll the tapes, literally. And I feel bad for Rome too, because he’s gonna see that and say that I didn’t vote for him. But he’s gonna know that it’s a game.”
Yash: “Don’t feel bad for him. It’s a waste of your energy. He knows he blew up his game. He’s not gonna feel bad. I voted his ass out. You voted his ass out. Everyone did. Not a bad thing. So don’t waste your energy feeling bad about something outside of the game. It does you no benefit.”
Lyric: “How are you so smart?”
Yash: “Penn State, baby.”
Lyric: “What’s the name of the animals?”
Yash: “Nittany Lions.” Then: “I was born smart, gang.”
Lyric: “Damn, Kamu’s been in that diary room for a long time.”
Lyric: “My stomach is sore. I think it’s because I ate everything today.”
Yash: “You gotta fiber up. Eat grapes, eat bananas. Take the f***ing fiber. Drink coffee. You gotta start shit maxing.”
Lyric: “Are you going to be okay sleeping in that room?”
Yash: “I’m going to be all right.”
Lyric: “For real, if you need anything, just let me know.”
6:00 am zzzzzzzz
yay, so fun to have a season where one side is running the house /s
“Bro dude we’re cody and derrick “
The cringe meter just broke
yup it’s busted and never getting put back this season.
Week one sets the tone.
I have said that since somewhere between bbcan2 and bb17.
Week one Dee tells her HOH team they are safe. Nominates Yash.
Week two Devins tells Rome that he, Jason and Lyric are safe. noms all of them by the end of the week.
Week three we have Kamu telling Lyric she’s safe and whoops.
Q: before HOH did it not look like it was Kamu that was instigating the flirtation not 20 minutes after Rome left? He followed her from the kitchen to the hot tub. He seems to suffer from conditional indignation (that condition being I wonder if the cams are on… Angela had told them she didn’t think the cams were even on until after HOH).
It did not take long for Angela to blame the hinky vote on Drew. Let’s take a moment. In her demented almost tertiary syphilitic seeming addled mind… Drew cast a vote to evict Melody. but Melody has to go because Drew is to close to her.
Okay. so another wth is happening. So Kamu is telling LaTrice he knows about the Honor society alliance (not name the member list) including Haley as a member… and using it as a reason she is being nominated.
Was the HOH comp Wrestegasm… houseguests must be beaten over the head with a chair as many times as they can until they suffer brain damage????
I already said last night/this am, that KAMU was being MESSY.
Specifics: He went back on every single thing he said shortly after getting HoH.
(1st) He said he wasn’t putting up Mallory and it broke that 1st. Broken = Messy
+(2nd) He said wasn’t going to backdoor anybody and broke that 2nd/3rd Broken = Messy
+(3rd) Directly told Lyric she wasn’t going up at all and broke that 2nd/3rd Broken = Messy
I guess this beat-up on Mallory week AGAIN…this time on the block and a have not. Wk 1 she was on the block, wk 2 her buddies on the block and now wk 3 she is BACK on the block WITH her best buddy and a have not.
To those of you who are transcribing all of these inane ‘guest conversations’ above, I just have to APPLAUD your endurance and hope you all take a good, few hours to yourselves to RECOVER from the utter dumbness echoing throughout your heads from having to rehash all of these mind-numbing conversations. Kudos!
