Angela and Dee spent the morning stewing over Barrett putting all three Icons on the block, with Angela settling on the message she wants him to hear over and over: “too soon.” After the feeds cut for the veto draw, Taylor and Yash joined Barrett, Angela, Dee and Devens for BB Comics. When the feeds returned, the old Crossover tension spilled into the backyard — and by 10:00 AM Barrett’s side was openly calling the Icons’ pressure campaign an attempt to psych him out before a veto they now see as a straight 3v3. An hour after that, Drew was upstairs asking Barrett whether they were still friends.

Where the week stands: Barrett is Head of Household with Angela, Dee and Devens nominated. The Power of Veto is next. Veto players: Barrett, Angela, Dee, Devens, Taylor and Yash — Angela picked Taylor, Barrett picked Yash. Today’s competition: BB Comics.

The Icons’ mood: Angela and Dee are openly pissed that Barrett put all three of them up together. Angela calls it “happy-go-lucky vengeance” and wants Barrett reminded, repeatedly, that he made the move too soon.

Dee’s argument: putting Angela, Dee and Devens up together gave the three Icons a reason to stick together instead of wondering why one of them had been spared.

Barrett’s side: Melody and Taylor think the repeated “too soon” message is meant to get inside Barrett’s head. Yash calls the veto a 3v3, while Taylor reduces the plan to one sentence: “We just can’t let them win. That’s all it is, period.”

The Crossover fallout: Drew is irritated with Barrett too. He says Barrett had talked the night before about taking Angela down if either of them won veto and then trying to get Yash out — and then Barrett had the pick in the draw and took Yash over him without explaining why. Drew, upstairs at 11:03: “I don’t have Taylor, don’t have Yash, all the Icons are up. And Barrett just didn’t pick me after saying he would.”

They patched it, and Drew got a promise: his complaint was never the pick, it was being told nothing — “just be straight up, that’s all I f—ing ask.” Barrett’s answer on whether he has been honest with him: “Not about everything.” What Drew leaves with is a commitment that if an Icon wins the veto, Yash goes up as the replacement — and Barrett is openly hoping that gives Yash a reason to win it himself.

The “too soon” campaign is already landing: three hours after Angela and Dee agreed to keep saying it until it stuck, Barrett was upstairs saying it back to Drew — “I get why they’re saying it’s too early. And I get it too.” His answer to it: “I’m not trying to play Big Brother as if I was playing it for the second time.”

Where the split is: Barrett has already made his move against the Icons, and now both sides are treating BB Comics as the answer. Angela, Dee and Devens need one of their three to break the block; Barrett, Taylor and Yash want all three nominees still sitting there Thursday.

8:10 AM — Angela and Dee (Backyard)

Saturday morning belongs mostly to Angela and Dee. Two of the three nominees have taken over the backyard, nobody from Barrett’s side seems eager to join them, and they are enjoying that almost as much as they are complaining about how they got here.

Angela: “Just flip your cushions over.”
Dee: “Give them no safe haven.”
Angela: “That’s what I like. I f—ing love that. We dominate this yard. Hell yeah. B—-tches!”

The empty yard becomes a running theme, then a scoreboard, then a taunt.

Dee: “I love how nobody’s gonna come outside today.”
Angela: “I saw Barrett look like he was gonna go outside and maybe think about coming up here. He still might, but… I doubt it.”
Dee: “I don’t like that. He couldn’t even look us in the eyes and tell us.”
Angela: “You know what? We own this b—-tch for the next week.”
Dee: “And the week after that, and the week after that.”

Dee goes in for a look at the kitchen table and comes back delighted — it is just Barrett and Melody, Drew still asleep. She had already said something to him on the way past.

Dee: “I said, I’ve never seen you inside on an outdoor morning. Barrett said, is that okay? I said, I think it’s amazing.”
Dee: “Yeah, f— it. Let’s taunt them while we’re here.”

Underneath the sulking is one real criticism of the nominations, and Dee makes it twice.

Dee: “Why piss the three of us off? You could have just had one less person pissed off. And you made us think weird of each other.”

“Why piss the three of us off? You could have just had one less person pissed off.”

— Dee

Later she sharpens it into the version that actually stings.

Dee: “Instead of us three, what he should have done is at least left one of us out of it. So that we can be like, why is this other person not on?”
Dee: “Because the two are coming back anyway. And we were already the past two weeks dying. So imagine if that wasn’t on the line. We would be, oh, of course, they’re working together even more. And then we fight with them. It’s so stupid.”

Her point: putting all three of them up gave them a reason to lock arms instead of a reason to turn on each other.

Angela has landed on a mood and named it.

Angela: “I really don’t care. I really don’t honestly care. Now it’s just vengeance at this point. Happy-go-lucky vengeance. I f—ing love it.”

“Now it’s just vengeance at this point. Happy-go-lucky vengeance. I f—ing love it.”

— Angela

What is still sitting badly is the staging — the rest of the house upstairs before the three of them were called up.

Angela: “Because they were all in on it. Every last one of them up there before we got up there.”
Angela: “I hope they have footage of all this on the episode — of us out here with him saying, let’s go do it. And then us marching up the stairs together. The three stooges.”
Dee: “Major Moe, Larry and Curly energy.”
Angela: “And just that all of them were up there except for Taylor. Of course. Just plotting our demise.”
Angela: “We’re going to tell on our sibling right now. We shouldn’t be the only ones grounded.”

Then they design a campaign, and it is two words long.

Angela: “I think we should all just preach to him in a jokingly way that it was too soon. Each of us could say it was just too soon.”
Angela: “Using those words — it was too soon — will really get in his head. Especially if we’re all saying it.”
Angela: “And you were in a good spot. What are you doing?”

They have already picked a target for the next Head of Household, and neither of them says his name.

Dee: “I just have one tall target in mind.”
Angela: “He’s hard to miss. We’ll get him.”
Angela: “They just have no idea what’s coming for them.”

In between the grumbling they do some counting, and it is sharper than the sulk suggests. Angela lays the house out like a hand of cards.

Angela: “You got two pairs of threes and a pair of two. That’s what you got in this house right now.”
Dee: “But that pair of two — no, we have a pair of four, because we’re rocking with Yash.”
Angela: “Well, that is true. We kind of do have a Yash right now. Just temporarily.”
Dee: “Yeah, we still have a numbers advantage, technically.”

Dee’s other line of attack is the calendar, and she wants it used on Barrett out loud.

Dee: “You’re halfway through the game is where you are. We still have a whole Survivor season worth of time left.”
Dee: “Five evictions before finale night. We’ve only had nine. So you’re not as close to the end as you think you are.”
Angela: “Just keep rubbing it in his face about that. In your humorous way.”
Dee: “Zero jury management. Zero.”

Yash drifts out at some point and gets a valentine for his trouble — Dee tells him she cannot wait to come back and not put him up, ever, and Angela tells him she would vote for him to win. He offers the same back. The cameras cut away briefly to Yash and Melody in the bathroom before returning to the yard.

Production housekeeping keeps breaking into the sulk. They refer to being told to flip the cushions, get microphone reminders more than once, and end up working their way around the outdoor furniture complaining about bugs — which, on veto day, does not land well.

Angela: “There’s some people in the house that could probably do it. We’re on the block.”
Angela: “I don’t want to exude energy. I have a freaking veto to win.”
Dee: “I’m not meant for this bug life. It’s a chore.”
Dee: “They said flip it over, flip over the cushion.”

They do it anyway, and play to the camera the whole time.

Dee: “Hey, BB fans, are you guys watching this?”
Angela: “Look at us working.”
Angela: “What’s up, f—ers? We’re about to win this veto.”
Dee: “This is hurting my traps.”

The one grievance that sounds sincere rather than performed is the smallest of the morning.

Angela: “I hate that Dee is a have-not right now.”
Dee: “That’s what pisses me off out of anything.”

The last stretch is the two of them settling into the yard like it belongs to them now, and then remembering what day it is.

Dee: “When they’re up, I’m still coming outside for coffee. I love that we’ve taken the whole backyard.”
Angela: “With their tail between their legs. Stay inside. That’s fine.”
Dee: “I go where I want.”
Dee: “You can either come outside and be mad, or come outside and talk to us like regular people. Both are fine.”
Angela: “But don’t be a little wuss. All you’re doing is giving us time to have fun and talk s— on you. Fire us up more. It’s open season as far as I’m concerned.”

Dee: “I believe in us. This is step one. One of us to win it. It’s not over — oh gosh, no. I don’t feel it at all.”
Dee: “We didn’t come this far to leave like this. This is just the fun part. We’re just starting the fun part.”

The feeds cut for veto-player selection shortly after.

Where it stands: Angela and Dee woke up nominated, worked out that nobody was coming outside, and decided that meant the backyard was theirs. The rest of the hour is one long conversion of a bad night into a usable mood — “happy-go-lucky vengeance” — with three campaigns falling out of it: tell Barrett it was “too soon” until it sticks, remind him there are five evictions left and he is only halfway, and let him think about who will be sitting in jury. The one piece of real strategy rather than sour grapes is Dee’s: putting all three of them up gave them a reason to hold together instead of a reason to suspect each other. The veto is today, and neither of them sounds remotely finished.

Feeds return Veto players are picked

Taylor was picked by Angela and Yash was picked by Barrett

9:39 AM — Angela, Devens, Barrett and Drew (Backyard)

Angela goes straight at Barrett. He made the move against people he had been working with, and she thinks he did it too early.

Angela: “You’re going up. You know that.”
Barrett: “I might have gone up anyway.”
Angela: “You never know.”
Barrett: “That has nothing to do with me picking him for the veto, though.”
Angela: “Kind of feels that way.”
Barrett: “But that’s not how it was.”

Angela: “Just too soon. Too soon, Barrett. There’s still five more evictions that have to go. You just played too soon. I get it. I respect it, but too soon.”
Barrett: “Maybe I’ll regret it.”
Angela: “I think you might.”

“Just too soon. Too soon, Barrett. You just played too soon.”

— Angela

Barrett turns it back on the veto draw.

Barrett: “You might regret not picking Drew.”
Angela: “I was on the fence about it. I wanted to. I did. But I don’t know either. I’m trying to pick somebody that I could beat.”

That gets Devens into it. Drew is irritated too, but mostly with Barrett.

Devens: “Whoa, what was that? You can’t be upset at Barrett for not picking you and Angela for not picking you. That’s two different sides.”
Drew: “No, I know.”
Devens: “I don’t know how you can be upset with both of those.”
Drew: “No, I’m mostly mad at Barrett. I get Angela’s decision.”

Devens: “Barrett would want you to keep it the same, and we’d want you to change it, so one of us, you would be deceiving.”
Drew: “Well, Barrett was telling me upstairs last night that if I would win or if he would win, we would take Angela off.”
Barrett: “We did talk about that.”
Drew: “And then we would try to get Yash out.”

Drew: “Because I still want Yash out. That’s the one dude I don’t want in this house. I’ve told him 18 different times. I’ll tell him 18 more times today.”
Barrett: “You’ve been very consistent about that. Thank you for that explanation.”
Drew: “Yeah, no problem.”

Angela wishes Drew had told her where he stood before the veto draw.

Angela: “I wish that you had talked to me, Drew.”
Drew: “It’s all good.”
Angela: “I mean, we had all morning. I didn’t know that’s where you stood.”
Drew: “No, it’s fine.”

Then Drew puts the question directly to Barrett.

Drew: “But I don’t think Barrett would want the noms to change anyways. Were you just lying upstairs?”
Barrett: “No, I really thought about this last night.”
Drew: “That’s fine. I wish you just told me.”
Barrett: “No, I should have.”

A few minutes later Drew keeps insisting everybody is fine. Devens isn’t buying it.

Angela: “I wish you’d talk to me, but I guess it wouldn’t have mattered anyway.”
Drew: “No, we’re good. And I’m cool with Barrett, too. It doesn’t matter. I didn’t want to play in the veto.”
Barrett: “It does matter, because I don’t like… Vetoes are lame.”
Drew: “Vetoes suck. No, Angela, we’re good. And Barrett, we’re fine.”
Devens: “That’s less than good.”

Devens finally says what the whole conversation is really about: the Crossovers turning on each other.

Devens: “It’s four for four for Crossover members. What happened?”
Barrett: “Social came in, man.”

Devens: “You know, that’s the game. It’s like, on the one hand, I do kind of think it was too soon, because it will make it difficult to get to the end.”
Devens: “But if you defy what I think are the odds and get to the end, 100%, you got my vote. 100%.”

Angela: “Who has your vote?”
Devens: “Barrett, if he makes it to the end. If he’s able to get there. That would be an impressive run.”

A little later, Devens explains that even the jury compliment was game.

Devens: “I say that just to put a bigger target on him.”
Devens: “I say he gets my vote at the end just to put a bigger target on him when I leave or if I stay or whenever.”
Devens: “So don’t believe it.”

The argument cools off there. Barrett has already put Angela, Dee and Devens on the block. Later today they play for the Power of Veto.

10:00 AM — Barrett, Melody, Yash and Taylor (Backyard)

The other side has heard plenty from the Icons already this morning.

Melody: “F—ing… Dude, I’m not in the mood. They’re so disrespectful, bro, in this house.”
Barrett: “Devens got mad we were just inside.”
Taylor: “He was?”
Barrett: “Yeah.”
Taylor: “Why?”
Melody: “He was like, are you scared of us? Because me and Barrett were sitting in the chair.”
Yash: “Wait, for real?”
Melody: “Yeah.”
Taylor: “He is spazzing.”
Melody: “And we were like, bro, we’re just chilling inside. He’s like, I’ve never seen you guys hang inside when the outside was open. And we were like, okay.”

Yash wants to answer back. Melody says she has been stopping herself for exactly that reason.

Yash: “I want to clap back so bad.”
Melody: “No, same point. When Angela was over here talking to you, I literally had to restrain myself from coming over here because I was like, I can’t. I’m going to f— up everything if I go over there.”

The conversation turns to Devens and the veto.

Taylor asks if Deven’s was like this on Survivor.
Barrett – I know know
Melody: “I think there’s less time to bug out on Survivor. You don’t have time to do that. You’re playing a competition or you’re just going home.”
Barrett: “He can’t find an idol or s— here.”
Taylor: “Yeah, also that.”
Barrett: “You don’t got a Diamond Power of Veto anymore.”
Barrett: “He can win a veto, though. I wouldn’t be shocked if he did win the veto.”
Yash: “Nah, we’re not going to let him. We’re not going to let him.”
Melody: “Please don’t let that happen. Whatever you do.”
Yash: “I want that s— so f—ing bad, bro.”

Yash does the math.

Yash: “It’s a 3v3. That’s literally the best odds we could have. It’s a 3v3.”
Yash: “Somehow, some miraculous way, it’s a 3v3.”

“It’s a 3v3. Somehow, some miraculous way, it’s a 3v3.”

— Yash

Angela appears at the door.

Yash: “F—ing Angela, bro. She literally just came to the door and looked outside.”
Taylor: “She’s scared.”
Melody: “She is, and she should be. Get the f— away from me. I don’t like you.”
Taylor: “I’m about to play. I literally looked her in the face. I’m about to play my ass off.”

They go right back to the Icons complaining that everyone stayed inside.

Yash: “I’ve never seen y’all inside when the outside’s open. It’s crazy.”
Melody: “We was inside yesterday.”
Melody: “God forbid I want to chill inside, bro. Like, goddamn. I just woke up, bro.”

Taylor tells Barrett not to take the bait.

Taylor: “Stick to the plan, bro.”
Melody: “I think they’re trying to psych you out, Barrett, with everything that they’ve been saying to you.”
Taylor: “They’re definitely trying to haze you right now.”
Melody: “Devens trying to be like…”
Taylor: “They’re bullying you.”
Melody: “They’re bullying you. Like, you did it too soon. Like, you did it too soon. Like, putting them up and s—.”
Barrett: “He’s saying that s—, too.”
Melody: “Exactly.”

“They’re bullying you. Like, you did it too soon. Like, you did it too soon.”

— Melody

They think Devens is especially angry because Barrett got to him first.

Melody: “He’s probably mad as f— because he probably also doesn’t like Angela that much.”
Taylor: “Yeah, Dee is the glue between them two.”
Yash: “And he’s just mad he got got first.”
Melody: “Mm-hmm.”
Yash: “He’s never got got.”
Taylor: “Oh, 100%.”
Melody: “This is his first time being on the block. Yeah, because he was going to do this to you. That’s why he’s so mad.”
Yash: “Exactly. Definitely confirmed 1,000%.”

Taylor points back to things Devens has said about other players.

Taylor: “Y’all got to listen. His reasoning for putting up Carmel and Rome was because everybody loves them.”
Melody: “And that’s why he said he had to get out Mallory. Because everybody loved her.”
Taylor: “Y’all listen to what the f— they be saying.”

Drew comes up next.

Melody: “That’s why it cracks me up with Drew. He’s probably happy as hell with Drew, though, because he knows nobody really f—s with him.”
Yash: “That’s the issue, though. And he knows Drew’s easily convinced, like, by him in particular.”
Melody: “Completely. And it’s irritating.”

For them, the veto is simple.

Taylor: “We just can’t let them win. That’s all it is, period.”

Then they start comparing how the Icons are handling the block to what everybody else had to deal with earlier in the season.

Yash: “But now they finally get to see what it’s like to actually play, like, when it’s not f—ing Disney World for them.”
Yash: “Good. Let them crumble.”
Melody: “Like, yeah, y’all handling this like s—.”
Melody: “If y’all was up on the block Week 2, you motherf—ers would’ve folded by now.”
Yash: “They’d be origami by now, bro.”

“Now they finally get to see what it’s like to actually play, like, when it’s not f—ing Disney World for them.”

— Yash

Taylor remembers being on the block while also being a Have-Not.

Taylor: “Week one, as a Have-Not twice. Every time I was on the block, both times she put me up while I was a Have-Not. You have no humanity. You’re not a person.”
Taylor: “She put all three of our asses on the block. She said, somebody go ahead and volunteer. I already have to make hard decisions. And then put all three of our asses on the block.”
Barrett: “She put Drew on the block too.”
Taylor: “She put all three of us on the block.”
Taylor: “We were all Have-Nots. I said, oh my God, you have no heart. No heart, bro.”

For Melody, the contrast is mostly funny.

Melody: “This is probably one of the funniest weeks there’s been.”
Yash: “Yeah.”
Melody: “It’s always a try-not-to-laugh challenge for me.”
Yash: “Dude, I saw you during this s— just now.”
Melody: “Oh my God.”
Yash: “First I looked at Drew, and you’re just sitting there looking at the ground, just trying not to smile.”

Taylor: “And when she don’t laugh, and you can tell she’s trying not to laugh, her face turns red, which is just as bad. It’s like, oh my God, she’s laughing with her face.”
Melody: “Even during the noms, when Devens’ face showed up, I was like… Because it’s not that funny. But, like, you know what I mean? But it is, though.”
Melody: “And then he’s sitting there, like… perplexed. They look perplexed.”

Yash wants the block frozen exactly where it is.

Yash: “Bro, let’s get a f—ing win later today. Please, bro. Please.”
Yash: “All three of them are iced out, bro. They’re in the f—ing… all three of them sitting there on Thursday.”

“Bro, let’s get a f—ing win later today. Please. All three of them are iced out.”

— Yash

Taylor wants the next part too: making the three nominees campaign against each other.

Taylor: “I want to see them campaign against each other.”
Melody: “That’s going to be… You know Angela’s going to be f—ing going crazy, bro.”
Melody: “She’s just going to cry.”
Melody: “It’s funny. It’ll be fun.”
Barrett: “It’ll be fun.”

The conversation finally wanders into joking about a possible movie reward. The funniest version is Barrett being forced to take the three nominees with him.

Yash: “You should pick all three of them just on some funny s—.”
Melody: “Hell nah. That’s a nightmare. That’s literally my nightmare.”
Yash: “We’re not watching the movie. We’re going to talk about how much of a liar you are.”
Yash: “That’d be the angriest movie watch of all time, bro.”

And that is where the tape ends.

Taylor: “Imagine being put on the block because you didn’t pick me to watch a movie.”
Barrett: “I wanted a movie.”
Taylor: “And I told you that.”

11:03 AM — Barrett and Drew (HOH)

Veto players have been drawn and Drew was not one of them. Barrett had the pick and used it on Yash. Drew comes up to the HOH room to find out whether that meant something.

Drew: “Hey, handsome. Are we still friends?”
Barrett: “Yeah. I don’t know why you’d think that we weren’t. I just put on lotion.”
Drew: “Yeah, I was like, you’re a little slimy.”

Barrett gets to the apology fast.

Barrett: “You had every right to be as upset as you were after the veto meeting. Truly.”
Drew: “Because you know I’m rocking with you.”
Barrett: “I hope you didn’t think that changes anything about you being completely safe. Yash stole my renom this week.”
Barrett: “Yash, I think, has a better chance to win. I kind of want to keep him the same as what I woke up with this morning. And I didn’t tell you that s—.”
Drew: “Dude, just let me know, man. I thought we’re on the same team.”

There was a second calculation behind the pick, and Barrett admits he should have said it out loud.

Barrett: “I really did think, okay — if I pick Yash, Drew might get picked by the other three Icons anyway. So that s— might just work out.”
Barrett: “I didn’t explain that s—, and it would be a lot easier if I did. So I’m sorry.”
Drew: “But no, we’re good. I’m still not gunning for your ass, dude. I think you already have enough people gunning for you.”

Then Drew says what it actually felt like standing there.

Drew: “Right now I’ve got jack s—. That’s how I felt. I was like — well, I don’t have Taylor, don’t have Yash, all the Icons are up. And Barrett just didn’t pick me after saying he would.”
Barrett: “If one of the Icons wins veto, let me prove it to you by putting Yash’s ass up.”

“I don’t have Taylor, don’t have Yash, all the Icons are up. And Barrett just didn’t pick me after saying he would.”

— Drew

The rest of the house has already read the draw as a crack and started working it.

Barrett: “Taylor’s already trying to get in my ear about putting you up.”
Drew: “Already?”
Barrett: “I think they’re assuming I’m going to put you up. Like last week.”
Drew: “Because that’s what they want. They’re just trying to skate by. But please don’t do that. Because I would not put your ass up, dog.”
Barrett: “Bro, I got enough going against me as it is. I don’t want you also in that mix.”

Drew makes sure it is heard as reassurance rather than a threat.

Drew: “I don’t think you want four people gunning, but I’m not threatening you. I’m not saying I’m going to do that. Because honestly, you and Melody are the only people I’ve got.”
Drew: “I would have done whatever you wanted, by the way. If it was, like — cool, let’s leave them the same — I’d be like, all right, this is the route we’re taking. I got to lock in.”

Which was the plan they had actually discussed the night before. Barrett confirms it: the two of them talked about Drew using the veto on Angela.

And then Drew stops managing it and just says the thing.

Drew: “Everything you do is a reflection of me and everything I do is a reflection of you. So just know that I’m equally as f—ed as you are if it comes to this. We’ve been the middlemen since the beginning.”
Drew: “They thought I was going to put you up as a renom, and now they think you’re going to put me up.”
Drew: “I think we’re locked in for the rest of this game, and hopefully as far as we can run it.”

Then the one real ask.

Drew: “Just f—ing tell me s—. I’m done with your ass telling me you’re not telling me something and then not doing it. Just be straight up. That’s all I f—ing ask.”
Drew: “You’re the only person I’ve been completely honest with since the beginning of this bulls—. And it seems like you’ve not been completely honest with me.”
Barrett: “Not about everything.”
Drew: “I have nobody else, so. I’ve been telling you everything. So let’s just be friends.”

“You’re the only person I’ve been completely honest with… And it seems like you’ve not been completely honest with me.” — “Not about everything.”

— Drew and Barrett

With nothing to do but wait for the competition — “it could be two o’clock or something before we go… it could be nine p.m.” — Barrett starts drafting the defence he wants to give the house. And the phrase he uses is the one Angela and Dee were rehearsing in the backyard three hours earlier.

Barrett: “I get why they’re saying it’s too early. And I get it too.”
Barrett: “But I could lay it all out to them and be like — I wasn’t going to wait around for y’all to go after me. And I didn’t want to have any regrets in this game.”

“I get why they’re saying it’s too early. And I get it too.”

— Barrett, three hours after the Icons decided to say exactly that to him

His answer to it is the season in one sentence.

Barrett: “Especially this week — if I just put up Melody, Yash and Taylor and been like, all right. I would have forever thought about this week and been like, maybe I didn’t want to do that. Or what if I had just gone after them at that point?”
Barrett: “And I’m not trying to play Big Brother as if I was playing it for the second time.”

The pair of them get sentimental about how long they spent being useful to other people.

Barrett: “I just need to tell Dee — I don’t think you realise how much I was rocking with y’all until the Mosh Pit s—.”
Drew: “You and me were completely on board with both. We were on FAP and Crossovers. We were, like, loyal like dogs.”
Barrett: “We were literally their little puppy dogs. And I would have stayed being that, to a degree. I would have been the Mosh Pit’s puppy dog. And then she did that s—.”

Drew admits the size of it, then takes it back down.

Drew: “I hope you didn’t think I was actually pissed. Well — I actually was pissed. But not to the point where I’m like, I hate Barrett. It’s like, whatever, I get it. Just f—ing tell me.”
Drew: “Because you said, let’s put all three. I was like, all right, dude, let’s f—ing ride, I guess.”
Barrett: “You were pretty chill about that.”
Drew: “So let’s be on the same page about s—. Unless you want to work with Yash instead, then it’s fine.”
Barrett: “I don’t. I’m literally putting his ass up. If anything, I’m hoping it’s more incentive for him to win the veto.”

Then they build the rest of the season out loud, which they have not done together before.

Drew: “I’ll win the double and you’ll be good, bro. Then you got to win the next one and return the favour.”
Barrett: “And I will. And then we win that final six HOH, and then we only have you, me and Melody. Because at that point it’d be two noms. Two noms, one renom.”
Drew: “That’d be unreal. Let’s do that. We’re really close.”

Drew’s read on where Barrett now sits in the Icons’ order is not comforting.

Barrett: “I’m assuming Devens wants my ass out.”
Drew: “All three of them, I think. I think you’ve jumped the rank over Yash. Because now Yash is like an unofficial ally — if it’s true that if he wins HOH, he’s good.”
Barrett: “Angela after the draw was like, so you do believe Yash. I can’t believe you believe. And I was like, I didn’t say that.”
Drew: “I honestly still don’t have any idea whether or not it’s true, and I honestly don’t give a f—.”
Barrett: “I don’t either. Y’all are all putting me on the block at this point. It don’t matter to me now. All y’all did was remind me how shady you can be in this game.”

Drew leaves him with the alliance name and a bit of housekeeping about reputation.

Drew: “I’m still a juggler, bro. You’re kind of all I’ve got besides FAP.”
Barrett: “I’ve never doubted that you were a juggler.”
Drew: “I thought you thought I was going to choose the Icons over you. Did you think that?”
Barrett: “Dude, I’ve never thought that. No, I never would have.”
Barrett: “I’m just going to piss off everybody this week.”
Drew: “That’s great, because I pissed off everybody too. So we can piss everybody off together.”

Barrett: “Am I the biggest liar in the house now?”
Drew: “Dude, I hope so. Because I’m done wearing that crown.”
Drew: “But thanks for bringing me to top seven. I’m bringing you to top six next Thursday.”

“Am I the biggest liar in the house now?” — “Dude, I hope so. Because I’m done wearing that crown.”

— Barrett and Drew

3:25pm Still blocked for the BB Comics veto..

6pm Nothing yet…

Where it stands: Barrett had the pick and took Yash over Drew without explaining why, and it cost him an hour of repair work with the only person in the house who is unconditionally his. Drew’s complaint is not the pick — it is being told nothing: “just be straight up, that’s all I f—ing ask.” He got a promise out of it, though. If an Icon wins the veto, Yash goes up as the renom, and Barrett is openly hoping that gives Yash a reason to win it himself. The quieter thing in the room is that the Icons’ campaign is already working: three hours after Angela and Dee agreed to tell Barrett it was “too soon” until it stuck, Barrett is upstairs saying “I get why they’re saying it’s too early. And I get it too.”

This Week’s Veto: BB Comics

The house becomes a comic book shop for a day. Everyone is drawn as a hero or a villain, ziplines past a wall of their own covers, then rebuilds the display from memory — spotting the real ones among near-identical fakes, in order, against the clock. It has decided the veto eleven of the twelve times it has run. Every BB Comics competition since BB16 →

Wonderful.
Now, anyone but Dee for the Blockbuster.

bon Hurley

Barrett working hard to make sure Yash wins, but thinks he’s playing his own game.lol..

Another Dixie

Yes, Angela, he did do it too soon, too soon for YOU and D&D. You are correct because now YOU are on the block along with the two who have you convinced you’ll be going to the end with them. Believe me, if one of them wins the veto, you will not be saved. If Yash wins, you will not be saved, if he chooses to play it. If you end up losing the blockbuster, you will not be safe. You’re going down!

whywecanthavenicethings

The icons version of proper timing is at F5, which was their original plan all along unless they themselves chose to cut someone from their alliance. That’s all it comes down to. It would be fun to see someone ask them, okay, what would have been the right time. But better not to engage with the icons rn, of course.

Mike Honcho

Somebody call the waaaaaahmbulance for these whiners!

un autre nom

The trio that first tried to break their alliance (xovers) week 4 and again week 6…. are mad someone other than THEM broke the alliance week 8. NOW it’s too soon.
Drew is pissy that his plan to use veto on daddy has been dashed by Barrett. Oh. YOU damn well KNOW that is what he was going to do. What’s the diff between using it on Angela and using it on Daddy would have been the excuse.
The jury vote threats? The draw a bigger target on the one that nominated you. eyeroll.
I guess we can all see the stuntcast entitlement glaring us in the face.
But then again… they only actually had to play the game with any actual risk to their presence since week… 7. Must be a hard knock life.

As far as veto choices…
tinfoil me still laughs that anyone thinks it’s random. I always point to bbcan season where a houseguest went into the storage room the night before veto draw, and found the costumes in garment bags with labels of veto players names on the bags. Before they were picked. That houseguest seriously believed bb had gone out shopping and got new outfits as gifts for other houseguests, and not them. It was a big production oops that lifted the curtain that veto players are predetermined by storyline. The kicker, that veto had a houseguest choice too. but still had a labeled garment bag in the storage room the night before veto.

Bb fan

Stupid cry babies . I hate the icons even more than ever. Is barret juat soppuse to wait to final 6 or 5 when you are half the house or worst?
And angela and dee wanted to get out devans and talked about puting up drew and devans , so suddenly its too soon and such a mistake.. shut up.

Opinion Overload

Honest question. Does Barrett hope that Mallory will be his girl after the show? Is this what is really going on in his head?

bon Hurley

Hard to figure out what is going on in Barrett’s head. He seems to be really jealous of the icons like mean girl floater Melody. He seems to think Yash or Taylor will take him to final two. He dosen’t understand the icons carried him in the game to where he us.. For sure he has no clue about jury management. I would have put up Yash, Dee and Melody.. With Taylor as the back up.

Opinion Overload

I’m very puzzled. There has been so many comments about his thing for Mallory plus other people out there have commented how he has gone from girl to girl to girl, trying to get their affection. Add in the possible bitterness about not being picked for picked for anything. He sure has made a mess of safe ride.

bon Hurley

Something strange about Barrett. Notice his head always stuck to the left in the diary room before voting. Rather than looking at the camera or screen.

Opinion Overload

The newb fans get pretty loud every time the Icons take a hit. Almost like they know deep down their side is still a long shot and they’re trying to convince themselves.

bb4eva

“every time the Icons take a hit.”
Interesting turn of phrase, that. As if they’ve taken multiple hits. In point of fact, they haven’t even taken one single hit, yet. They’re ALL still there. None have been evicted, yet. And, even if one were to be evicted later this week, that still wouldn’t necessarily result in an icon hit, because Grod could simply rig a battle-back to bring them right back into the BB house from the jury house.
So, your complaining that those of us rooting for anyone other than an icon to win it all “are too loud every time the Icons take a hit” is premature, because it hasn’t even happened once, yet.
We are merely being too loud for your taste in, as Carly Simon sang: ANTICIPATION of it FINALLY happening for the very first time.
IF it DOES finally happen for the very first time later this week,
we’ll show you “LOUD” then!

Opinion Overload

Geez if I’m counting they have been nominated 6 times. Barrett and Yash have had the least amount with 1 (of people remaining). I guess your definition of taking a hit means something else. If the Icons haven’t taken a hit then Barrett for sure has done 100% less. Hey, I like Carly!

bb4eva

“Take a hit” means your group loses someone vs the other side.
The icons have lost NOONE, therefore ZERO hits as of yet.
Even the crossovers have yet to lose a member, so no hits for them as well.
The cool kids are ALL gone.
The mosh pit has been destroyed.
They have taken ACTUAL hits.
IF the icons EVER actually lose a single member, it will be their very 1st of the season.
IF it happens, I’ll show you LOUD.

Opinion Overload

Dee just figured out that Barrett was probably never voted into the Time Capsule because he’s been against them the whole time and we, the audience, wanted him out. True

I’ll expect the usual negatives from people who have to look up perception in the dictionary. Love her or hate her, Dee is easily the most perceptive player in this house.

Paul Sucks

I think the P word you are looking for is production

Opinion Overload

Thanks the gods for them or we wouldn’t be here.

bb4eva

What about from those of us who DON’T have to look it up?
Condescend much?

Drew’s Dirty Grippers

How does that explain Mallory and Melody getting time capsule then in her logic?

Opinion Overload

More popular than Barrett because he’s creepy.

whywecanthavenicethings

Yet that negates Dee’s theory of why Barrett didn’t get time capsule.

bb4eva

Opinion overload doesn’t require evidence or reasons to reach her conclusions. She just makes them up as she goes along. When Drew’s Dirty Grippers & whywecan’thavenicethings disprove her obviously wrong assertion about Dee, she just rolls merrily along & throws out a new bogus theory dumber than the previous one.

bb4eva

If you actually knew the meaning of “perception”, you would NOT have applied it to Dee,of all people.
Dee, who nominated her own crossover alliance member, Drew, NOT once stupidly, but twice stupidly, for the simple reason that Dee lacked the perception, the clarity of vision, to see that the crossover alliance member that was ACTUALLY coming for the icons all along was NEVER loyal lap dog Drew, who Dee WRONGLY misperceived it to be BOTH times she mistakenly nominated her loyal ally Drew. While, all along, Dee NEVER nominated her ally that WAS actively plotting(with his other non-cross-overs housemates)the demise of the icons: Barrett.
She never nominated Barrett during EITHER of her HOHs because she NEVER PERCEIVED Barrett to be any threat to Dee or the other icons. EVER.
Until Barrett put all 3 icons OTB.
Dee NEVER went after the CORRECT ally that WAS ACTIVELY planning the end of the icons, because Dee NEVER PERCEIVED that Barrett was the one.
By the same token, Dee kept going again & again after Drew because she continued to WRONGLY PERCEIVE that Drew WAS ACTIVELY planning the end of the icons, WHICH HE HAS NEVER DONE. In fact, Drew is the ONLY crossover that has NEVER conspired against a single icon. Dee & Angela have both been conspiring for some time to evict Devens. And Barrett has been conspiring against all 3 icons. But, Drew is even now, STILL crossover strong, unlike Dee, Angela & Barrett.
In conclusion: 1) Dee NEVER nominated the ally who was plotting against her BECAUSE SHE NEVER PERCEIVED BARRETT TO BE THE ONE. 2) Dee nominated the WRONG ALLY TWICE BECAUSE SHE WRONGLY PERCEIVED DREW to be the traitor, when in fact Drew was the actual loyal ally ALL ALONG.
DEE NEVER GOT IT RIGHT &
DEE ALWAYS GOT IT WRONG.
Her LACK OF PERCEPTION IS HER PROBLEM!
Too bad you can’t see what’s staring you in the face!

Moaning murtle

Many say bye bye to one of the icons. IMO it’s Yas who will get the boot this week. The Comic is challenging and Yas is good but not for this type of Challenge. Both Barrett and Drew hate Yas especially Drew. Barrett will ,smartly, keep Drew in his pocket by evicting Yas. Barrett aldo knows Drew will go back and tell Devens the plan( backdoor Yas,) and they all will be wow Barrett what a cool way to make that move. A self proclaimed icon going home – no way! From the beginning it has been Deven or Dee gets the victory and that’s the way it ends.

bb4eva

Thanks for saving us the time we would have wasted watching the rest of season28.
Now that you’ve so generously given us the ending, I can move on to Survivor & TAR.
You didn’t share the winner with us mere mortals. Was it Rick or Dee?
I hope it was Rick. He’s so much more likable than Dee.

Steveo

Who the F is Yas? At least get the Indian dude’s name right.

bb4eva

Because it is pronounced: Y-A-S, people are spelling it that way to get the pronunciation correct.
Even Julie kept pronouncing his name wrong until they started spelling it phonetically for her.

Tre Billis

Timing was perfect for Barrett…not for icons but for Barrett’s game. He Taylor and Melody are the only ones who can do it. He can’t play next week. The other two never won HOH. And Angela was going to turn on Devin’s if he did not win battle back. It’s ok for her?

Bb123

The gloating is just too much. These people are so immature. I don’t care if Dee or Angela go, but I hope they get payback.

bb4eva

Payback for what? The game’s been rigged for the icons all season.
And what gloating? All I read on this website is hope being expressed that the non-icons get a chance to battle it out in a fair fight down the stretch.

What’s poppin pussy boy

Drew is such a PUSSY!!!!

JustMyOpinion

Oh Angela, get over yourself. Get a grip.

modern bb is rigged

anyone else just sick of Angela’s face?

Gizmo

Sick of everything about Angela, the crazy mean lady.

bb4eva

I am & have been since she cruelly & relentlessly went after the way Matt’s eyes(of Phillipino heritage)appeared.
I do not believe in going after people’s appearance.
Personalities, however, are fair game. And Angela’s is pretty bad.

modern bb is rigged

agreed and they invited her back. just like how rachel bullied regan for being gay and they invited her back as well. If a guy did the same thing as them they would not only not be invited back. but would be all around cancelled.

un autre nom

Let’s be clear:
Is Drew being 100 honest with Barrett like he says?
no. not even 50 50. He’s doing what he has always done. deflecting question and taking answers to give to his overlords.
That is what makes him a complete idiot.
he doesn’t want to have relationships with some members of the house. So he doesn’t try. in a social game where the jury votes, Drew has no interest in having a relationship with some houseguests.
Has he told Barrett that Devens made a final 2 with him last week? no? oh.
sideye.

I still contend that Drew will go down in history as being more af a strategic twat than Victoria.

bb4eva

WOW!
That’s quite a contention.

un autre nom

Where we are at.
Day 60 is too soon to get rid of a stuntcast.
sideye.
We are 6 hours into an individual time veto comp.
We are looking at a possible veto comp that… the HOH may not be able to participate in due to his height. (if they are doing zipline comics).
The yard was closed so they may have pushed another comp or altered the comp.

I STILL don’t think a stunt is leaving. burn me once shame on me. Burn me twice not gonna happen.
SO IF it does happen it will be a nice surprise. But until then… just erring on side of Grod gonna Grod.

Another Dixie

I love to read your interpretation of what’s happening, but this is one time, I hope you are wrong. I really want one of them gone & would love to have all three on the block for blockbuster. I’m looking forward to the backstabbing, probably by Angela & Dee.
I must have missed the part about Barrett not being able to participate due to his height. I hope they came up with a workaround because, if not, that would just be another way production will control the game. What am I saying? Even if he is able to do it, they still control the clock & will let whoever they want to win.
And it is now 8:10 CDT & still not back.

un autre nom

The only possible hope is to put a jury management stuntcast into the jury house to ensure that everyone BUT the stuntcasts is talked down. But then… WE all know that Grod has a voice in jury house anyway. There are just some votes in can and us bb that make no sense unless you say prodo.

bb4eva

I very much hope that you receive a “nice surprise” this week.

Moaning murtle

Yes! So very glad to be wrong!( mea culpa ) Yash won the veto! Sorry so many of them pretended to care or be happy for him. I admit I didn’t think he had it in him. Is is possible.? might it be? one of the self proclaimed icons goes this week? Will Drew and Barrett blow up ( they both hate Yash.) Will Yash know the house view him as a comp threat and will rally to get him out? Who in the house genuinely can he do any emotional dumping with if needed.. Taylor ? Will the other players who are not the self proclaimed icons really realize they are not there to help the icons win..I sure hope so!
