The Big Brother 28 finale is tonight, and it comes down to Taylor, Devens and Drew. Taylor and Devens play the last part of the final HOH, the winner picks who sits beside them, and a seven-person jury hands one of them $750,000. The 90-minute finale airs at 8/7c on CBS, on day 87. Here’s how Big Brother 28 got here.

Who won Big Brother 28?
The winner of Big Brother 28 will be decided tonight, live, at the end of the 90-minute finale. Taylor and Devens play part three of the final Head of Household, the winner evicts one of the other two, and the seven-person jury votes between the final pair for $750,000.
The jury is Lala, Angela, Barrett, Yash, Melody and Dee, plus whoever finishes third tonight.
We will update this page with the result the moment it is read out.
What happened in Big Brother 28?
Big Brother 28 opened with seventeen houseguests moving in for a time-travel season, three of them as “Icons”: Survivor’s Devens and Dee, and Big Brother 26’s Angela. Ashley went first, 14–0, and Rome followed after Devens used his veto to put him on the block.
The early game belonged to an eight-person alliance, the Toolshed. It cracked in Haley’s HOH week, when the house flipped and sent Lyric home 8–3 instead of Haley’s target. Chuk and Kamu followed. Kamu’s exit came after Devens played the Diamond Power of Veto on Dee — one of only two times all season a veto was used to save somebody else. Both were his.
Haley was the only houseguest voted out without a single vote being cast, knocked out in the medieval competition. Barrett put all three Icons on the block in his HOH, and Angela went 3–2. The double eviction took Barrett and Yash, the Pharaoh’s Curse twist removed Melody without a vote, and at final four Drew won the last veto and evicted Dee.
How did the final three get here?
Big Brother 28’s final three is Taylor, Devens and Drew, and Drew is the reason Devens is still in it. He kept Devens over Dee at final four for one reason.
For me, it was like, I forced both of you guys to take me.
Drew
Taylor won part one of the final HOH, Devens won part two, and Drew is out of it — he plays no part in tonight’s part three.
Everyone in the house can do the maths. Taylor, to Drew: “It’s whoever takes him out wins. And we both know that.” Devens told Drew which way he was leaning: “I don’t think she would ever take me, and I’m not taking her.”
Who won every competition in Big Brother 28?
Big Brother 28 ran fourteen eviction cycles. Head of Household, veto, Blockbuster and the eviction that followed, week by week.
| HOH | Veto | Blockbuster | Evicted |
|---|---|---|---|
| Dee | Mallory | Yash | Ashley, 14–0 |
| Devens | Devens | Jason | Rome, 12–1 |
| Kamu | Lyric | Mallory | Jason, 12–0 |
| Haley | Taylor | Drew | Lyric, 8–3 |
| Lala | Kamu | Haley | Chuk, 9–1 |
| Yash | Yash (Devens: Diamond Power of Veto) | Angela | Kamu, 8–1 |
| Dee | Lala | Drew | Mallory, 6–2 |
| Medieval competition | — | — | Haley, no vote |
| Drew | Yash | Devens | Lala, 4–2 |
| Barrett | Yash | Devens | Angela, 3–2 |
| Yash | Drew | Melody | Barrett, 3–1 |
| Melody | Devens | — | Yash, 2–1 |
| Devens | Drew | — | Melody, Pharaoh’s Curse |
| Taylor | Drew | — | Dee, Drew’s vote |
Final HOH: part one, Taylor. Part two, Devens. Part three, Taylor against Devens, tonight.
By the numbers: ten houseguests won Head of Household, eight won the veto and eight won a Blockbuster. Drew and Yash each won the veto three times. Devens and Drew each won a Blockbuster twice.

Big Brother renewed two more years and Big Brother Canada is coming back.

I want drew to come back…. love the middle people.
If taylor wins im gonna be so pissed, shes a b****, cant stand the pod queen.
Wow. Stunned he cut Drew
Believe it or not: I binged this season in 3 days and now I’m watching the finale live. What an experience.
I’m feeling that the questions for Devens is better than the questions for Taylor.
Love how Julie cut Devens off on EVERY question…Not! Biased eh??
They have a set amount of time for each answer.
It’s a live show. They can’t ramble on forever. Julie has to do that to keep the show on pace.
For a counselor, Taylor is very bad at public speaking. Not that Devens is much better because, at least, he’s talking game and not a miracle story.
Devens won… just saw his name on two keys (Barret’s was one).
He deserved it after that Q&A. Way to go Devins!
BB28 Final 3:
1. Daddy Devens finally gets the win he’s been denied since “Survivor: Edge of Extinction”. He blew up the game Week 2 going after Rome via backdoor. He won the DPOV and usurped Yash’s HOH to get Queen Temu evicted. He joined Dee in blindsiding Lyric. He picked the right two HGs who gave him so much info in the first half of the game. He won BB comps when needed. He got Veto on DE night. He betrayed his closest ally, Drew, on Finale Night. And nearly all the HGs still liked him more than Dee or Angela. Devens brought a lot of entertainment and great gameplay this season. He’s welcome back anytime to play BB again and on any other reality TV comp in the future. Well done BB Legend and BB winner!!
2. Well done Taylor! She lasted way longer than I expected. She survived Week 1 eviction just by minding her own business, made allies with LaLa and Yash, won a Veto saving herself Week 4, helped LaLa break up Red Corner on Week 5, and then secured her ticket to Finale Night with the Final 4 HOH win. She just couldn’t repeat that win for the Final 3 HOH. She’ll get $75K at least, but I will miss our Pod Princess as I don’t ever see her returning a second time.
3. Drew started out well playing the middle road, but his game fractured beyond repair beginning with the Pipe Queen, the NPC, and Yash following Queen Temu’s eviction. He didn’t do himself favors with his micro aggressions towards LaLa and Taylor about wanting them to cook and clean in the BB House. But the final nail in the coffin was taking the path of least resistance by declaring he’ll never turn on the icons and wiling to go to the end with them. And Daddy Devens made him pay for it. If I had to describe his game, he would be a “lapdog”. I expect him to compete on future reality TV comp shows, but it may take a few years until he’s wise enough to correct his behavior and truly reflect on his gameplay.
AFP Winner — Devens cleans house just like BB24 winner Taylor Hale!
Until next season, this is Team Taylor signing off!
FINALLY NOT A TYPO EPISODE
Last episode play by play review:
I tinfoil. expect tinfoil and prediction here:
PREAMBLE
Gonna say 6:1 vote final. No matter WHO Devens takes. Now we see how Devens wins the final HOH (i say 95% and i don’t do 100) when Taylor has more knowledge of house and comp events than Devens….. bet she switches cards in a round from correct to incorrect. It happened before… but if it’s blind lock in how will we tell? Last time the card was shown for about half a second going back into the box before it was switched.
Does that mean Drew will be evicted? She did talk to Devens last night after a substantial feed block. As Alwyas… I am calling Devens somehow wins Final HOH.
Shocking…I have Devens cutting Drew at 70%.
See why i just don’t care?
I decided long ago. I thought the season was over.
SEASON RECAP AND JULIE CHENBOTS ALL OVER US
The jury with Chelsie at the roundtable. Not getting into naming her winner by the end of episode one her season. But facts.
pre-jury returns. meh.
DAY 87.
Can the Velociraptor take out half the cast? Just a question.
Taylor needs to quit playing with her hair in Julie’s intro…. she’s pulling a Drew.
PART ONE OF HOH
D/R
Taylor has to win. Devens and Drew have a final 2.
Devens wants to face Drew in point three.
Drew would cut Devens at final 2. So I guess he’s going to lose first two parts foreshadow.
11 minutes.
Random shocks. they are holding wood handles.
DREW out in 15 minutes 21 seconds.
Devens locked in at 32 minutes 16 seconds.
Why is Devens pulling a shenanigan in this clip it’s not a block buster… he’s pulling a block buster shenanigan like Angela and Dee did in the week the three were on the block together??? OH…
DEVENS out in 50 minutes 8 seconds.
TAYLOR WINS PART ONE.
PART TWO OF HOH 1601.To Be HOH or not to be HOH
launch slingshot at the ones that are correct answers. reset all if mistaken.
3 rounds head to head.
Devens complaining about back again.
Drew wins first Round.

Devens wins second Round.
Replacement nominees.
He didn’t shenanigan this time.
Devens wins round three.
HOH winners.
The balls reset this round
DEVENS WINS PART 2 of HOH.
Devens d/r the family card.
Drew cracked and now has no power or ability. He has to be taken (about that… now at 80% by the edit that Drew gets evicted) Never tell prodo you will cut a stuntcast in the finale idiot.
Taylor d/r needs to go through Devens.
NOTE: a couple of times people got the correct hit sound effect (added post) for the wrong shot. Just saying. A couple of times for dramatic effect people knocked over the wrong one and got the correct ding from prodo added to the photage.
Jury Visit was a few Days ago.
From Angela’s season.
The Jury thought take Devens out to win.
Well rounded game is their benchmark.
Taylor:
people liked her. pulse of the game. under radar not confrontation. What did you do/ Being a smaller target to each HOH when nominated isn’t a game plus to win.
Drew:
play middle debated. Annoying game. Total awareness of the house activity. Strategy. Validation. What did you do on your own. Always working.
Devens:
social and comp ability. Target on back says Dee. Social capitol. Power talk… oh. Breathing room due to fan vote. Only icon HOH 1… did he have to play until later or did he always have a fallback. Does powers and fan votes negate target on back when added to the First HOH thing???
HALF HOUR MARK OF 90 MINUTE EPISODE.
PART THREE HOH. BACK IN MY DAY…
Jury member interviews. old makeup. 2 truths and a lie.
1) La Trice. both say c. both correct.
2) Angela. Devens b Taylor a. Devens correct.
3) Barrett. Devens Tayoor both c. Both correct.
4) Yash. Devens a Taylor c. Devens correct.
5) Melody. Devens Taylor both c. Both correct.
Anyone else catch that she had the correct card (we saw she had the b card) and switched out to a? Yeah. I called that.
DEVENS WINS FINAL HOH. sideye.
EVICTION:
Julie says Taylor made a convincing argument. Julie doesn’t do that they show it. Okay. Drew is getting evicted 95%.
PLEAS:
Taylor think you’ll follow the plan to get the 4 votes.
Drew. I brought you, hope you keep your word. Love you.
DEVENS EVICTS DREW.
Drew thinks Devens will win. That Taylor is the easier move. Drew knew he was going.
JURY ON STAGE
Yash guesses Drew is final evicted. DEVENS CUT DREW. Barrett points out he lied to you.
LaTrice to Taylor: challenge faced and how overcome.
Being on the block 6 times. Stayed resilliant. Adverse outside of house stuff not in the edit that was mostly cut out of feeds. Persevere.
Dee to Devens: Icon advantage and Disadvantage?
Alliance day one. time capsule but half got punishments. safety one week out of 12. Alliances got us here. Relationships not Icon got him here.
Barrett to Taylor: influential move.
Vote flip is her answer. the flip Angela is shaking head. Every juror that was part of the plot to flip that vote is scratching head because she was not in control of that move.
Melody to Devens who influenced and how did it get you there.
Drew collaborated Devens did not control Drew. Kamu Chuk and Haly the vote flip was us (names most of jury) not Taylor.
Angela to Taylor: why should you beat Devens.
Elitism power and privilege. He got a leg up.
Yash to Devens. Pivot. HOW DID YOU.
Bermuda Triangle and Crossovers and Toolshed. His primary alliance was with the other 2 stunts. He had to help his primary alliance when Yash wouldn’t keep Dee off block.
Drew to Devens: when did you decide.
Last night. In essence, Taylor pulled a Devens and threatened jury votes. I have to win for family.
FINAL 2 SPEECHES
Taylor:
we made it. Humble. Vigilant. Cinderella I preveiled. God put me here faith. Subtle. Pod but praying and planning. Drew he betrayed you give me your vote.
Devens:
play hard. Big swings when had the chance. Most comps. Alliances to control the action. Voted until final 4. he is covered in blood. Gamers that attacked. Not nominated til last. final 4 was first shot at eviction.. and survived.
La Trice: Taylor love you. Love to hate you Devens. Played hardest.
Angela: love both. no reason not to give vote.
Barrett: proud of both. Devens i ate your hotdog.
Yash: love both. who earned it the most.
Melody: playing with you loved. Voting for shark.
Dee: heart and soul into game most deserving.
Drew: not mad just disappointed
75 minute mark of the episode.
Pre-Jurors. Jason comes out as SALINA.
Not a proposal. Moving in together is the big announcement.
Devens took the 10k. Mallory career reveal.
VOTE REVEAL:
La Trice: Taylor

Gee the Stuntcast with the d/r voice of the season won Big Brother. I’m shocked. Eyeroll.
DEVENS WINS BB28.
Devens won 6:1. Called it.
AFP: Drew, Devens, Yash. Devens also wins AFP.
810k won by Devens.
Big Brother will continue for at least 2 more years.
They should have given America’s favorite to Drew or Yash.. CBS and their stunt casts BOOOO.
kraken season through and through. See you all for Big Brother Canada.
Where can I watch Big Brother Canada here in the states?
We’ll post it once we find out what sort of show it will be. It’s picked up by a different production company. Didn’t have feeds during it’s last season so we’re not sure.
Exactly what I was thinking. Thanks for all the great coverage to you and Dawg
Devens devastated Drew! But it was the right thing to do. Taylor’s pitch was correct and she had to do it to give herself a chance (and get $75k!) – smart move on her part. In the end, the right person won. Devens may have came in with a built in advantage, but he was the hardest working player in the house. He took that advantage, made the most of it, didn’t coast his way through anything and successfully made it to the end. Well done Devens!
Wow, Devens won AFP too… the only other winner I recall taking both was Taylor.
I guess he was really beloved by the audience (as a non-Survivor watcher I’d never be able to know).
Overall, I enjoyed this season. It had been a while since I watched a season where people would cry and scream because they didn’t want to be taken out of the game. I felt that everyone wanted it so much and that makes the difference. That’s the type of player I wanna see in BB, not the people who come into it having watched only the last two seasons because they were invited to participate by chance, I want the opportunity to aim at a career as an influencer instead of having the game as #1 priority.
Thank you Simon and Dawg for keeping this great site alive. I didn’t watch BB last year, I had to take a pause. But few months back, even before season 28 started, I needed to recall some particular dialogue from one of the previous seasons and your site, once again, saved me (no other BB site can compare to the treasure trove that is OBB).
See you all next year!
Congratulations Rick Devens on winning Suviv….err…umm the Devens show…. Big Brother? Whatever we just watched.
Poor Drew, he deserved at least 2nd place after all the work he put in. Taylor did not deserve to win $75,000 for sleeping all day!
