Have-nots
Taylor, LaTrice, Mallory

Lala won the Power of Veto and used it on herself, and Dee put Mallory up in her place. Drew, Taylor and Mallory are the three on the block. The name that is not up there is Yash, and the reason is that Dee spent the $5,000 BB Bribe to keep him off it — an offer she made with a threat attached, and one he took. Hours later he was naming a four in the HOH room, and by evening Drew was in the gym promising his vote to the two women on the other side of the house.

Where the week stands: Dee is Head of Household for the second time this season. Lala won the Power of Veto and used it on herself, and Mallory went up in her place. Drew, Taylor and Mallory are on the block with eleven houseguests left.

The seat Yash is not sitting in cost $5,000: at 10:11 AM Dee laid out the offer — “again, here’s the 5K, you cannot put any of us up for the next HOH that he wins” — with what she would do if he refused: “and if he says no, I’ll f—ing backdoor you.” She keeps him off her block, he keeps the Icons off his. He took it.

Drew asked to be the one replaced and was told no: he wanted Yash in the seat and said so directly — “give me the smoke, I want a Blockbuster.” Dee had already talked herself out of it alone with her lunch: “I can go back on my word and put Yash up. But why would I do that when I can just put Drew up?” Devens had signed off before she asked anybody else.

The Icons bought a fourth, and he said it out loud: at 3:30 PM, hours after the ceremony, Yash named it in the HOH room — “and, like, bro — me, you, Angela, Devens. I’m rocking with that s—.” Dee: “No, you have my word.” Yash: “Thank God we’re back, bro.” Dee, on the stretch when she thought she had lost him: “I thought I lost you there for a second.”

The twist is out of powers: the Diamond went off in Week 6 and the houseguest it put on the block is gone. The Bribe went off this week and bought the Icons the one player who had been hunting them. The only thing still live is Drew’s Never Not Pass, which keeps him off slop and does nothing else — and Drew is on the block.

What nobody in that HOH room knows: the two men the Icons count as theirs spent Friday night in the backyard agreeing that Devens has to go, and that a final five with Dee, Devens and Angela ends with the two of them leaving first. Drew, on where that lands: “we will be the domino to decide whether or not an Icon wins the game.”

And by 5:31 PM Drew had promised his vote elsewhere: in the gym Melody asked him straight out — “would you back up me and Mallory?” — and he gave it, with the Icons and the vote count already in his mouth: “I feel like there’s no other choice. I don’t think they’re going to have the votes to stay.” Melody told him Barrett is further along than he is: “me and Mallory asked him about it a bunch, and he seems, like, more on board than you are.” Neither of them wants Lala in jury, and neither of them has forgiven her for the morning she made the house wait until Thursday for bacon — the same day she went downstairs to punch a pillowcase with Dee’s name tag pinned to it.

Where the split is: Dee has spent real currency to turn her loudest hunter into a number, and it worked — for a week. What she bought is protection from Yash’s next HOH, not loyalty, and the men she did not have to pay for are the ones already planning to cut her closest ally. The block is set, and the man sitting on it has spent the day being offered to two different sides and saying yes to both. The question is whether Drew goes before he can act on any of it.

3:30 PM — Yash and Dee (HOH)

The veto ceremony is over. Lala used the Power of Veto on herself and Dee named Mallory as the replacement. Drew and Taylor stay on the block.

Yash was never nominated, and it cost Dee five thousand dollars. She spent the BB Bribe on him — the deal being that she keeps him off her block, and he keeps the Icons off his when he wins a Head of Household. He took it. Drew had spent the previous morning in the bathroom asking her to put Yash up instead.

Yash is recapping the deal.

Yash: “I told her before noms, we’re even.”
Dee: “That’s f—ing perfect.”
Yash: “If she doesn’t put me up, I’ll remember that.”
Dee: “Yep. Yep. That’s great.”

Then he names a four.

Yash: “And, like, bro — me, you, Angela, Devens. I’m rocking with that s—.”
Dee: “No, me too.”
Yash: “I’m rocking with that s—, like, let’s go.”
Dee: “No, you have my word.”
Yash: “Like this, it’s gonna be good.”
Dee: “Yeah, we’ll be fine. We gotta figure out ways to get everybody else, but whatever it is, it is what it is.”
Yash: “And again, I think if that’s our core…”

“And, like, bro — me, you, Angela, Devens. I’m rocking with that s—.”

Yash

Dee: “One hundred. I love that we’re cool with it.”
Yash: “Let’s go. And thank God we’re back, bro.”
Dee: “I know. I know. I thought I lost you there for a second.”
Yash: “That’s on me a little bit, I think.”
Dee: “I’m telling you.”
Yash: “I think that’s on both of us a little bit. We’re back.”
Dee: “It’s on both of us for sure.”

Dee: “I genuinely thought in that HOH, I’m like, oh, you know what — Devens and Melody. And, like, even leaving you, I’m pretty sure people were like, what the f—? But whatever, you know. It is what it is.”

She looks down at her feet.

Dee: “Wait, why am I in my shower shoes?”
Yash: “What’d you eat? Anything good?”
Dee: “Stuffed red bell peppers.”
Yash: “Oh, nice.”
Dee: “I mean, it’s good when I don’t have to make stuff, you know what I mean?”
Yash: “Yeah, for real. I was going to say too — time for you to get outside, bro.”
Dee: “Yeah, that’s exactly what I’m about to do, dude. I’m so excited.”

Melody – I’m scared dude
Mallory – I’m scared too

5:31 PM — Drew and Melody (Gym)

Melody is working out and Drew has come in to keep her company. Nobody has started dinner.

Melody: “I hope someone makes dinner.”
Drew: “Maybe Lala will. No — Lala and Taylor are have-nots, so no one’s going to be doing that.”

That is all it takes.

Melody: “F—ing Lala, bro. She’s just so irritating. Yesterday morning, when I went back outside — did I tell you about the bacon fiasco?”
Drew: “Dude, Devens was letting me in on it. He was like — and Dee — they’re like, what the f—. But what happened?”

What happened is a twelve-minute account of a breakfast that did not occur.

Melody: “Devens was like, I’m going to make eggs and bacon. And we were like, yay. Or not eggs, but, like, bacon.”
Melody: “And then Dee was like, oh, I have that bacon in my fridge. We should cook that. And we were all like, yay.”
Melody: “And then Lala was like, no. Wait till Thursday. Like, we should wait till Thursday.”
Melody: “And everyone was just like…”

Drew: “Why does the whole week have to stop for you?”

“Why does the whole week have to stop for you?”

— Drew

Melody keeps going. The room had already folded.

Melody: “She’s like, no, we should wait till Thursday. And so they were like, okay, fine, whatever.”
Melody: “And then I was like, f— this, I’m going to give some pushback. I was like, oh, but it’s Sunday. It’s Sunday.”
Melody: “And she was like, yeah, I know that. And I was like, yeah, like Sunday morning, like, you know — breakfast.”
Melody: “And she’s like, yeah, it’s a beautiful day. Like, what does that have to do with anything?”
Melody: “I was like, never mind, bro.”

She could not remember what Lala said next, only that she left.

Melody: “I just went inside, because I was like, I’m not doing this.”
Drew: “She’s just, like…”
Melody: “There’s more.”
Drew: “There’s more?”

There is more.

Melody: “Devens and Dee come inside and they’re like, hey, we’re going to make that bacon or whatever. And I’m like, you don’t have to. I’m not upset. I just can’t deal with all that. She’s so f—ing annoying.”
Melody: “And then they start making Dee’s bacon. And then I go back out there.”
Melody: “And she’s like, are you happy that they’re making that bacon? And I don’t reply. And she says it again. And I don’t reply. And she’s like, Melody.”
Melody: “And I’m like, sure, I’m happy. I didn’t want the f—ing nice bacon, dude. I was fine with whatever.”
Melody: “And she was like, well, you just seemed really upset. And I was like, I wasn’t upset.”

Then the part that actually landed.

Melody: “And then I lay down, and a few moments go by, and she’s like — well, you know how it is being a have-not. Sometimes you just want something. You see people eating something that you really want.”
Melody: “And I’m like, yep, everybody’s done it.”
Melody: “And she was like, yeah, well, it’s my second time around.”

Drew queries the arithmetic on that, then gives up on it.

Drew: “I dunno, man. I’m pretty fed up with Lala, for sure. For obvious reasons. She’s just so controlling over everything.”
Melody: “It’s the f—ing Lala show.”

“It’s the f—ing Lala show.”

— Melody

Drew has a separate grievance, and it is not about food.

Drew: “It still makes me mad that it was Angela’s birthday and she’s trying to make it about herself.”
Melody: “Literally. Just like everything else.”
Drew: “I’m just like, please, let Angela have her moment. Like, please. It’s her birthday. She only has one a year.”

Melody points out that Lala has already had a birthday inside the house herself. Drew knows.

Then Melody gets to the pillowcase, and it turns out they each have half the story.

Melody: “I just look at her and she’s like, oh — she’s like, I was just hitting this pillow. And I’m like, oh. And I walk in. There’s Dee’s name tag.”
Drew: “She’s trying to do what to the pillow?”
Melody: “She was just hitting it.”

Drew had been told about it in advance and had not understood what he was being told.

Drew: “Oh — she was up here and she says, I have to go punch a pillowcase. That’s what she said. That’s what she told me and Devens. Up here she’s like, I’m gonna go downstairs, I’m gonna go punch a pillowcase. And we’re like, oh, okay. And Dee’s name tag was on it. She’s punching it.”
Melody: “Like, she took Dee’s name tag and put it on it.”
Drew: “That is so funny.”

“I’m gonna go downstairs, I’m gonna go punch a pillowcase.”

— Lala, as relayed by Drew

Drew floats the version of the week where the pillow gets its wish and Lala wins Head of Household, and enjoys it briefly.

Then Melody asks him for something.

Melody: “Would you back up me and Mallory?”
Drew: “If you guys wanted to do that?”
Melody: “Mm-hmm.”
Drew: “I feel like there’s no other choice. I don’t think they’re going to have the votes to stay.”

He has already worked out who it costs him.

Drew: “I know Barrett will be more sad about Dee. Barrett actually likes her.”
Drew: “I feel like if any of the Icons are up there — I don’t know if anybody would want to save them, if it’s even possible.”

Melody’s objection is not to the plan. It is to the guest list it produces.

Melody: “I don’t want Lala, Taylor or Haley in jury.”
Drew: “We’ll get Taylor out this week. God — but I would rather have Lala not in jury than Haley.”
Melody: “I don’t want either one of them. Well, I don’t know if that’s going to be possible.”
Melody: “Actually, I don’t mind Taylor. She just pisses me off, like, game-wise.”
Drew: “Anytime she’s not talking about game — we were hanging out on Yash’s HOH, I was like, she’s fine.”

Drew comes back to the one name he is not sure of.

Drew: “You think Barrett would back up your guys’ decision?”
Melody: “Me and Mallory asked him about it a bunch, and he seems, like, more on board than you are.”
Drew: “I was just worried about him.”

One of them raises the possibility that Barrett is lying to both of them, and the other concedes it. Melody: “I hope not.”

The game talk ends there and does not come back for a while. Melody has landed on the fact that it is Sunday, and Sundays used to mean something.

Melody: “When I was a part of that sketch show — Falling Apart, shout out Falling Apart Phoenix — we always rehearsed on Sundays. And it was so fun, because we’d meet in the daytime and rehearse all the sketches, or if it was a writing day, or a pitch day, whatever it was. And we’d usually drink.”
Melody: “Sometimes we’d be at someone’s place who has a pool, and then we’d just pool and drink after. And it was so fun, because everybody’s funny. Obviously.”
Melody: “Or we’d meet somewhere — a lot of people live downtown — so then we’d just go day drink at all the really cool downtown bars. So fun.”

The part she misses most is the part nobody in the audience thinks about.

Melody: “Especially after our shows. We would go and put up all the videos and pictures from the show on the TVs and watch it, because we never got to see it ourselves.”
Melody: “That’s my favourite part, because that s— is so funny — and you don’t get to see it, because we’re in a green room.”
Drew: “So then after the fact it’s cool to be like, oh, that’s what it looked like.”

Which gets them, eventually, to the show they are actually on.

Drew: “Yesterday Taylor said the season sucks.”
Melody: “Yeah.”
Drew: “I think just because she’s mad.”
Melody: “I kind of agree.”
Drew: “Why does it suck?”

Melody, who is in it, gives the answer of somebody who has clearly thought about how it plays.

Melody: “I don’t think it sucks. I think it’s really funny and, like, entertaining. But if I was watching this at home, I’d probably be like, ugh.”
Drew: “Would you be hate-watching?”
Melody: “Yeah.”
Melody: “I’d be like, damn, they got out all the comp beasts right away, which is cool — but then it’s like, damn. Week one, we went back to caveman.”

“If I was watching this at home, I’d probably be like, ugh.”

— Melody

6:25 pm Mallory going full quack pack

6:49 PM — Drew and Barrett (Storage Room)

Ninety minutes after Melody asked Drew to back her and Mallory in the gym, Drew is in the storage room trying to bring Barrett with him. Barrett is not signing anything.

Drew: “I think you should be part of it.”
Barrett: “No. I might be a part of it, but I’m not gonna tell them I’m gonna do it. I’ll be straight up — no. If y’all want to do it, y’all do it on your own.”

Drew’s counter is not to argue with the refusal. It is to coach the delivery.

Drew: “I would say just don’t — make it sound like it’s just best in their interest. Because Mallory would put up Haley or Taylor. I mean, Haley or Lala as well.”
Barrett: “Well, I can do that, and also tell them it’s a really stupid idea.”

His reason is the block itself.

Barrett: “D won HOH and put two members of the alliance that we made last week on the block. This is dumb as hell.”
Drew: “I’ve been in an alliance with her since day two.”

Then Drew works through who else Dee is holding.

Drew: “Does she have an alliance with Haley? And Angela? Probably.”

Barrett wants that suspicion put somewhere useful. It is already there.

Drew: “It already is. He’s like, are they worried? Because there’s three guys and two girls in the alliance, and they want to bring in Haley. So it’s 3v3.”
Barrett: “Did he say that?”
Drew: “He mentioned the idea to me. No — it’s already in his head.”
Barrett: “That’s cool.”
Drew: “Which means… he’s taking us.”

“Which means… he’s taking us.”

— Drew, on Devens

Barrett says he had written himself off two nights ago and has now un-written himself, on Drew’s say-so alone.

Barrett: “Damn. Everything in my head changes so quickly in this game. Even just the other night by the hammock. We were talking and I was just being like, yeah, I’m probably dead last. But now it’s like — when you say s— like that, I’m like, well… fine.”

They both want the same thing out of the week.

Barrett: “I want that HOH this week.”
Drew: “Me too. So keep me around.”
Barrett: “Oh yeah. You’re staying no matter what. Doesn’t matter.”
Drew: “No, I am.”

Barrett throws Drew’s own nomination speech back at him.

Barrett: “You’re the biggest liar in this house. We had to keep you.”
Drew: “I haven’t told you a lie yet.”
Barrett: “Oh, yeah. Me either.”
Drew: “What?”
Barrett: “What?”

“I haven’t told you a lie yet.” — “Oh, yeah. Me either.”

— Drew and Barrett

Drew brings up a vote Barrett did not warn anybody about. Melody has since told him she cannot trust him because of it.

Barrett: “I didn’t tell her. She did ask me, and then I didn’t say no, because —”
Drew: “Melody was like, I can’t even trust you, like — you didn’t tell me that Mallory would have gone home that day.”
Barrett: “How are you supposed to have the same info that I would have?”

He does not think Mallory blames him for it either way.

Barrett: “She didn’t think that you would have voted her out. She thinks the Icons would have voted her out. It’s one of those things where you’re like — she ain’t dumb. She knew the vibe.”

Which raises the thing they have never been able to settle: how much of this the rest of the house can already see.

Drew: “To me, it’s so obvious that we’re working with them.”
Barrett: “The Icons?”
Drew: “Yeah.”
Barrett: “I mean, I think they can see me with them. I think they can see us with Devens. I don’t think they think — they think me and Angela and you are good.”
Drew: “They definitely don’t think me and Dee are good.”
Barrett: “Yeah. I’m sure that for sure they could pair us with Devens, and then me with Dee.”
Drew: “Us with each other.”
Barrett: “And then us with each other. And then Dee and Devens. Maybe Angela is the wild card, always.”

Neither of them can make the week make sense.

Barrett: “Yeah, I don’t get it.”
Drew: “I don’t either. But I also don’t understand why two people from the Mosh Pit are up on the block.”

And then Drew reverses the conclusion he reached in the backyard two nights ago, out loud, in about four seconds.

Drew: “I have a feeling that — God, I don’t even know. Two nights ago I was like, yeah, I think FAP is the way to go. And now I’m like, damn. I think Crossovers might be the way to go.”
Barrett: “It’s like they’re forcing our hand in a way. At every turn.”

“Two nights ago I was like, yeah, I think FAP is the way to go. And now I’m like, damn. I think Crossovers might be the way to go.”

— Drew

They talk themselves into the position being fine, which takes some doing given one of them is on the block.

Barrett: “There’s no way out, really.”
Drew: “No, there is no way out.”
Barrett: “And there really shouldn’t be for us, with three shields ahead of us in them.”
Drew: “Yeah, we’re actually in a pretty good spot if they end up deciding that we’re all in an alliance.”

Barrett admits he cannot put the week down.

Barrett: “I think about it all the time. I can’t stop thinking about it.”
Drew: “What are you thinking about? We win HOH, I’ll be like — everyone not in Mosh Pit goes up.”
Barrett: “Yeah. That’s all you can do. That’s what I would do. I mean, any other choices — what the f— are you supposed to do? It’s just bad.”
Drew: “Just bad news.”

Somebody comes into the storage room, and the tone changes completely for about a minute.

She tells them she loves them and just wanted them to know. Barrett tells her they were talking about how much they love her, then offers her a secret — “we like you too” — and Drew objects that it was supposed to stay a secret, because he did not want her to think they liked her. She thanks them for keeping her the last two weeks, tells them they are pretty, and leaves.

Then Drew says something he has clearly said before.

Drew: “I think we shouldn’t win.”
Barrett: “Every time you say that. Be quiet.”
Drew: “No, no, I’m just kidding. We should always try to win.”

Barrett tries a claim on him.

Barrett: “I kinda let you win this week.”
Drew: “Did you?”
Barrett: “Yeah.”
Drew: “Dude, f— you.”
Barrett: “I didn’t think this would happen.”
Drew: “Me neither.”

The last thing they land on is the man neither of them can reach.

Drew: “Okay, well, Yash hasn’t gone on the block since week one.”
Barrett: “I know. I wish there was an angle where we could get better with Yash this week, but I just don’t see it.”
Drew: “I think you can. I don’t know if I can.”
Barrett: “F—. As long as we talk about who we’re voting for, maybe that’s better than last week.”

BB28 Alliances

Updated after the veto ceremony. Eleven houseguests left. Dee is Head of Household. Lala used the Power of Veto on herself and Mallory went up in her place.

  • HOH: Dee, her second of the season.
  • On the block: Drew, Taylor and Mallory. Lala came off with the veto.
  • Powers live: Drew’s Never Not Pass, and nothing else.
  • Powers spent: Devens’ Diamond Power of Veto — used on Dee, put up Kamu, Kamu evicted 9–1. Dee’s BB Bribe — paid to Yash, and he took it.
  • The thing nobody in the HOH room knows: Drew and Barrett spent Friday night agreeing Devens has to go.

Active

Dee’s HOH Dee · Devens · Angela · Haley
The board

Lala and Taylor were settled by noon Friday — “because they were conspiring against me, and that’s easy” — and the third seat moved from Haley to Yash to Drew across the afternoon. Dee, alone with her lunch: “I can go back on my word and put Yash up. But why would I do that when I can just put Drew up?” Devens had already signed off before she asked anybody else.

Why Yash came off, and what it cost

The Bribe, and it worked. At 10:11 AM she laid out the offer — “again, here’s the 5K, you cannot put any of us up for the next HOH that he wins” — with a threat if he refused: “and if he says no, I’ll f—ing backdoor you.” She keeps him off her block, he keeps the Icons off his. He took it.

Then the veto moved the board again

Lala won the Power of Veto and used it on herself, and the seat went to Mallory. Drew had spent the previous morning in the bathroom asking for Yash instead — “give me the smoke, I want a Blockbuster.” It did not work. Dee afterwards: “even leaving you, I’m pretty sure people were like, what the f—?”

The Icons Dee · Devens · Angela
The week

The best they have had. Angela won the Blockbuster and took herself off the board, Kamu went home in her place 9–1 — Lala the only vote to evict Haley — and Dee came out of the endurance comp with her second HOH. Dee, alone afterwards: “Two HOHs, baby. Just why not keep making myself a bigger target?”

They have bought a fourth

At 3:30 PM, hours after the ceremony, Yash named it in the HOH room: “and, like, bro — me, you, Angela, Devens. I’m rocking with that s—.” Dee: “No, you have my word.” Yash: “Thank God we’re back, bro.” Dee: “I thought I lost you there for a second.” Her plan from here, out loud: “we gotta figure out ways to get everybody else.”

What they don’t know

The two men they count as theirs spent Friday night agreeing Devens has to go, and that a final five with the Icons ends with Drew and Barrett leaving first.

The Dapper Dans Devens · Drew · Barrett · Yash
Where it came from

A joke about a handshake. Devens, telling Dee: “We were goofing around and we were like, we have to do a four-person dap. And of course Kamu walks in — he walks in everywhere. Five-person dap. We were in the hot tubs. It was public. And then someone else walked in. And then it flew up to 16. But that was us locking in that we were dap for dap.” Dee: “I hated every second of that.” Devens: “That’s our alliance.”

Not a joke

Devens, to Drew and Barrett: “I was also talking about how epic the moment is going to be when it comes down to when we finally decide that like our number one alliance is actually the Dapper Dans and we have to send either Dee or Angela home.” In the same conversation he vouched for the fourth: “Yash is 100% with the Dapper Dans until he dies.”

The Week 6 claim

Barrett: “The Dapper Dans could have saved Devens.” Drew: “The Dapper Dans did save Devens.” Barrett: “The Dapper Dans evicted Kamu.” Yash was HOH and did not nominate Devens; Devens then spent the Diamond on Kamu. Whether the alliance caused that or is being used to explain it afterwards is the open question.

Yash has already answered

Drew wanted to rebuild it — “there’s only three of us left, excluding Devens… we have to be dude strong.” Hours after the veto ceremony Yash gave Dee his word on a four that does not include Drew or Barrett. Five thousand dollars bought him for the other side.

Drew and Barrett Drew · Barrett — locked
The deal

Older than every alliance either of them is in. Barrett: “You’re the only person who has f—ing offered me a final two.” Drew: “Arguably day one or two.” At 12:47 AM Friday they locked it. “Just know I’d never put you up.” — “I’m not putting you up either.” Drew: “The best chance we have at either of us winning is sitting next to each other. I don’t see any other way.” Both concede they lose to Mallory on charisma and to Dee on story.

The consequence

They agreed a final five with the Crossovers ends with them going first — “probably me, then you” — and that Devens is the name, because he has never been on the block. Drew: “We’re the most blinded people in this game… they’re like, we’re gonna ride these kids as long as we can.” Then further: “We will be the domino to decide whether or not an Icon wins the game, or an FAP, or Yash wins this game.”

Under strain

The Crossovers Drew · Barrett · Dee · Devens · Angela
Fracturing

Four of the five are still in it. The fifth is on the block, put there by it. Barrett spent an hour with Dee on Friday and finished on “I think you should do it,” having already told her “there’s nothing that Drew hasn’t done in the past week that doesn’t deserve for him to go on the block.” Lala got there from outside days earlier: “now they’re hanging with them and they’re on their side. But they’re the first ones they’ll put up.”

Then Friday night

Drew and Barrett agreed the group is farming them and picked Devens, because he has never sat on the block, with a double eviction floated as the moment. Drew: “As much as I love Devens, I think he’s so cutthroat. He would just slime this out whenever he needed it to be.” They cannot move without confessing first — “the only way we save ourselves is telling them that we are Crossover” — because Devens holds the FAP name. “That’s probably what he’s waiting to do.”

Different Icons

Drew would carry Angela, and cites the Diamond as proof she is third: Devens spent it on Dee, not her. Barrett trusts Dee most and concedes the flaw in the same breath — “I think Dee would always have Devens over both of us.”

Mosh Pit Drew · Barrett · Melody · Mallory · Dee · Devens · Angela
Hollow

Two members have said out loud it was never real. Mallory: “I was never planning on being loyal to Mosh Pit.” Melody: “If I was HOH, f— Mosh Pit.” Dee settled it herself, alone in the HOH room: “And the Mosh Pit’s not f—ing real, because they would come for me regardless.”

From the block

Drew, doing the arithmetic from the inside: “It really is funny that there’s four people that are in the Mosh Pit and I’m one of the people on the block. Every time the alliance wins, I go up.” Mallory joined him there at the veto ceremony.

Drew On the block
Out of road

In the HOH meeting he walked the room through the night Yash won HOH and answered his own question: “And I’m sitting there going, like, sure. I want Dee out.” Lala, an hour later: “Drew is a motherf—er. He’s a little f—ing snake.” Barrett told Dee to take the shot. By 1:50 PM Dee had stopped hedging — “again, the reason I’m saying this is because I’m putting him up.”

The pass

He had walked back into the storage room minutes earlier with the Never Not Pass and pitched it as a character reference: “they wouldn’t give me one if I was a traitor.” It keeps him off slop. It does not keep him off the block.

The speech

It landed anyway. “I’m the biggest liar in this house” — delivered at a table that was “five Crossover people in a row and then FAP on the other side. The definition of a split house.” Barrett: “I saw a complete personality shift with you. That’s what they want to see.” Drew’s plan is to ride it. “This week is just me being their bestie.”

And the lobbying failed

He asked Dee directly for Yash in the empty seat. She put up Mallory.

Haley Survived — third week on the block
Still here

The house cannot work out what she is doing. Devens has told Dee to keep her close. Dee talked herself out of a third straight nomination for the coldest possible reason: “That’s a perfect person for us to sit next to if we ever go up.” At midnight Mallory read Dee’s interest in her as fear: “I think D wants to do that because D is scared that Haley would fire her off.”

Nobody wants her in jury

Melody, working out what happens if Haley takes the next HOH: “I don’t want to live in no f—ing jury house with Haley. And Haley doesn’t either. Dead ass, I’ll quit. I’m not even joking.” Mallory: “I’d rather live with Taylor than Haley.”

Drew’s problem

She is the person he is most afraid to sit beside. “The scariest thing for me is sitting next to Haley. This week.” His counter-plan, agreed with Barrett at one in the morning: “We need Haley to get in more fights this week.”

The leak Unresolved
Who told Dee

Somebody in the HOH room the day the group agreed to target the Icons told Dee about it. Yash ruled out Taylor, Lala and Mallory and was left with Drew or Barrett. Melody had already landed on Barrett; Lala got there independently on Thursday night: “So who flipped it? Drew?” Friday narrowed the ground without closing it. Nobody has confirmed it and Dee has not said.

Broken

FAP Drew · Barrett · Melody · Mallory
Dead by 2pm Friday

Dee told Mallory that Drew knew Kamu was putting her on the block and was fine with it, and told Melody that Drew had described her as somebody you could whisper to at the last minute. Melody: “So you genuinely have been playing both sides this entire f—ing time.” Barrett had warned Dee that nominating Drew would cost her both women. Instead it cost Drew both of them.

Still their route

Drew and Barrett spent Friday night deciding it is still their best play anyway. Drew reads the Time Capsule results as instruction: “It is legitimately Crossovers versus FAP… America’s telling us to go with FAP. Trying to let the middlemen know. Trying to let the jugglers know.” Neither of the two women knows that. One of them is now on the block.

Lala, Taylor and Yash Lala · Taylor · Yash · Mallory · Melody
Counted, then gone

Lala counted it out loud at four in the morning with Mallory sitting there: “I’m trusting you and Mal — I mean you and Melody… I can’t trust Barrett and I can’t trust Drew now.” Friday afternoon took it apart. Told she was being considered, Lala named Drew, Mallory and Melody as the people who pushed hers last week, and volunteered that her own target is Devens. Dee, once alone: “Lala, why would you tell me you’re coming after Devens? That’s my f—ing number one.” Melody and Mallory spent the same hour swearing themselves to Dee.

And then

Lala won the veto and took herself off the block. Yash took $5,000 from the Icons.

Historical

Alliances that have already ended Yash and Kamu · Bermuda Triangle · Wolf Pack · The Bad Boys
Yash and Kamu

Yash: “And they will never know the extent of our relationship.” He campaigned hard in the last week — “I’ve kicked it into overdrive now to keep your ass” — and told Haley to throw the Blockbuster so Kamu could eat. Angela won it instead and Kamu was evicted 9–1.

Bermuda Triangle — Yash, Kamu, Devens

Named by Devens, then hollowed out by him when he used the Diamond to pull Dee down and put Kamu up, cutting Yash out of his own ceremony.

Wolf Pack — Yash, Kamu, Devens, Dee

Historical, but it explains the grudges. Yash still reached for it when justifying why he did not join the anti-Icons push earlier: “not so much, because we have the Wolf Pack.”

The Bad Boys — Yash, Drew, Kamu, Devens, Barrett

Did not survive. Devens used his power against one of the five, Drew and Barrett went to the Icons, and Kamu was evicted.

The BB Time Capsule

All six trips are done. Full detail on the twist, every round and every power in the pool, is on the BB Time Capsule page.

  • Week 2 — Angela: punishment. Hard-Boiled Detective costume.
  • Week 3 — Devens: Diamond Power of Veto. Spent — saved Dee, nominated Kamu, Kamu evicted 9–1.
  • Week 4 — Dee: BB Bribe, $5,000. Spent — paid to Yash for protection from his next HOH.
  • Week 5 — Mallory: punishment. Adam and Eve, with Melody picked to serve it alongside her.
  • Week 6 — Melody: punishment. Lady of the Latrine.
  • Week 7 — Drew: Never Not Pass. Live. The last trip of the twist.
Dee’s BB Bribe Spent — Yash took it
The power

$5,000 offered to one houseguest in exchange for an action that helps her game. Valid to the end of the season, and the target can turn it down.

Three asks, and the third one took

Before the Week 6 nominations she asked Yash to keep her and Angela safe for the week. He said no. She dropped Angela and asked again for just herself. He said no again. On Friday morning of her own HOH she went bigger — “again, here’s the 5K, you cannot put any of us up for the next HOH that he wins,” meaning herself, Angela and Devens — with a threat if he refused: “and if he says no, I’ll f—ing backdoor you.”

He took it

She kept him off the block. He recapped the terms back to her at 3:30 PM: “I told her before noms, we’re even… if she doesn’t put me up, I’ll remember that.” Thirty seconds later he named a four: “me, you, Angela, Devens.”

Drew’s Never Not Pass Live — and worth less than he needs
What it does

He cannot be made a have-not for the rest of the season. The last trip of the twist.

The timing

Called in on Friday afternoon, hours before the nominations he expected to be part of. He told Barrett and Devens within minutes and had already worked out what else it was worth: “they wouldn’t give me one if I was a traitor.” Barrett’s verdict, hours later: “This is why I wish you had better things than a Never Not Pass.”

Where it stands

Every power the twist produced has now been used. The Diamond went off in Week 6 and the houseguest it put on the block is gone. The Bribe went off this week, and it bought the Icons the one player who had been hunting them. The only thing left in play is Drew’s Never Not Pass, which keeps him off slop and does nothing else — and Drew is on the block.

Kamu believed, before his eviction, that Dee had paid Devens the $5,000 to use the Diamond on her; Mallory has independently floated the same theory. There is nothing behind it but the timing, and both of them said so. The money went to Yash instead.

The last trip went to Drew, which the house did not see coming — the HOH room spent Friday lunchtime convinced it was Yash, timing his Diary Room visit and watching the spy screen. He has since decided it means something else entirely: that the powers split three to the Icons and three to FAP is America telling the middlemen which side to pick. He said that at 12:47 AM. By the following afternoon Yash had picked the Icons.

Team Taylor

If the Pipe Queen gets evicted, she deserves it for throwing the HOH comp.

Steveo

I agree with you, for once 😀

un autre nom

Feeds go down for veto ceremony.
Feeds come back.
Melody is telling Barrett she trusts Devens. (three weeks of I don’t trust Devens done).
Yash is locking in with the new wolf pack (after being blindsided by the Kamu eviction and nominating Dee).
Drew and Barrett are back to being Mosh Pit / Crossovers or die. ( Drew is on the block for the second time due to his alliance, 2 members of Mosh Pit are on the block…. they just discussed screw the stunts a couple days ago)

sideye. sideye again.
If I let tinfoil me near this we are going to have a defcon rant. Instead I’m just saying and walking away because the latest layer of paint is dry. Def thinking of the week one and week 2 of feeds production notes meetings in season 21 during comp and ceremony feed blocks when i say defcon level rant. Houseguests were stupid and discussed the meetings and what they were told by production… what do you want me to do forget it happened?
BIG shifts post feedblocks and d/r visits ALWAYS make me tinfoil.

Question:
do Drew or Barrett KNOW Mallory is the target yet… or are they still ‘believing’ Taylor is the target?
Oh aaand…no. shut up. the next question was pure tinfoil. not doing it. just walk away.

Grod has announced via statement / interview from the pr department that the twist coming will not be a repeat of anything seen on bb before. mmhmmmm.
Everyone reach into your pockets… 3 lucky houseguest have the new big brother teflon and platinum and nuclear power of vetoes good until the final 4….. Congratulations stuntcasts.

Stephanie

It’s not a bribe if there’s a threat attached. It’s extortion. I can’t stand Dee anymore. I hope she’s the next one out. That frigging Diamond Power of Veto!! ?
