Veto day starts with dancing, a grape-stuffing record for Lyric, and a house running two conversations that never meet. Downstairs, the nominees compare notes: Melody and Taylor discover Haley gave them the identical “you’re the only one who didn’t shit talk anybody” speech word for word, Mallory works out the pawn logic without realizing she’s describing the actual plan, and Melody — two nights removed from apologizing to Haley’s face — hears her laughing in the kitchen and calls her a b—- from the next room. Upstairs, the icons sulk over America’s power vote going elsewhere. Dee feels like shit about it; Devens, quietly holding the Diamond Power of Veto, consoles her that they’re simply “too powerful” and it would be boring to give them more. Dee also confesses the morning’s real problem: she slipped and told Barrett that Drew is the target.

The rest of the morning is damage control and choreography. Haley and Kamu lock the veto plan — noms stay the same at any cost, Chuk is her pick if she pulls houseguest choice, Lyric goes up if a renom is forced — while Drew is already downstairs asking Yash and Chuk to save him, and both have their no’s rehearsed. Yash and Lala take turns talking Taylor down from the eruption she’s clearly saving for Haley: “she’s ready to go the f— off… just at another time.” Barrett brings his questions to Devens in the kitchen, asks point-blank if he’s lumped in with Drew’s “sketchballness,” gets told he isn’t, and reluctantly signs off on his best friend as the target. And back in the HOH, Ground Turkey Gate gets its name, Haley runs the full Taylor strike count for Chuk — including the four conversations they’ve ever had, one about hair, one about nail polish — and Chuk delivers the week’s thesis: the big organs are trimmed, now they’re trimming fat, and the fat comes with emotions.

Melody and Taylor are both on the block alongside Drew. The feeds pick up mid-conversation, with the girls angry at Haley.

Mallory: “They’re like, I’ll literally put you up. I will win HOH and put you up. And Taylor.”
Melody: “No, that was literally, like, what I was going to say to Taylor last week, too. Like, bro.”
Mallory: “And now they’re like, we’ll do decisions best for our game.”
Melody: “Right. So now, whatever. Maybe they, like, knew we were being serious.”
Melody: “Because I haven’t really talked to Taylor either, because I genuinely was mad at her.”
Melody: “And that’s what I was, like, trying to tell her outside. I was like, I’m going to be really mad — a.k.a. me. Like, you’re on my shit list, dude. Like, if you do that.”
Melody: “Like, there’s three nominees this season, bro. Chuk, Haley, you. Like, I don’t give a f—. Like, but for real, though.”
Mallory: “Yeah.”

The feeds block briefly.

Mallory: “He’s a really good competitor, and like someone else — it was someone that’s not going to win anything.”
Melody: “Yeah, exactly. Exactly.”

On the veto draw:

Melody: “I hope you get picked for veto. In a perfect world, you and Barrett get picked, or maybe Lyric.”
Mallory: “I think Lyric’s better. I think if Barrett gets picked, I don’t know who the replacement nom would be.”
Melody: “Yeah, Lyric would be best. You and Lyric play. That would literally be ultimate everything. Which it can happen.”
Mallory: “Yeah, it could.”

On Drew:

Mallory: “I feel bad that Drew kind of has, like, no one.”
Melody: “I know. I feel really bad, too.”
Melody: “He was in the gym. Like, I could tell he was upset by it, but, like, wasn’t going to talk about it that much.”
Melody: “Because I was like, we were talking about you, and I was like, I hope Mallory plays, like, whatever. And he was like, I literally have nobody.”
Melody: “Like, that’s shitty.”
Mallory: “Yeah.”
Mallory: “It’s only because you’re on the block, though. Like, if he wasn’t, I’d use the veto on him, you’d use the veto on him. That’s why she did that.”

Someone walks past.

Melody: “Hey, boo.”

Haley can be heard being loud in the kitchen with Chuk.
Melody: “F—ing b—-, bro.”
Mallory: “I’d be so pissed if I—”
Melody: “Okay, I’m gonna start getting ready. I’m gonna eat something.”

9:46 am Lyric is able to fit the most grapes in her mouth.

10:00 am – Taylor and Melody, bathroom

Both are on the block. They compare notes on their conversations with Haley.

Melody: “But she told me that I’m the only person who went up there the first time, before nominations, who didn’t shit talk anybody, and it spoke a lot about my character.”
Taylor: “That’s what she told me as well. That was the first time.”
Taylor: “When I went up there before nominations, she said, I appreciate you for coming up here and being the only one who didn’t shit talk or throw anybody up under the bus. That says a lot about your character.”
Taylor: “And then after nominations, when I went up there and asked her about it, she brought up what I’m upset about.”
Melody: “That is so weird. Like, literally what?”
Taylor: “It says a lot about my character that I went up there and didn’t throw anybody up under the bus. But it says a lot about my character because I was in the room when Jason was doing that. But it didn’t show a lot of my character to be the one to tell him not to.”
Melody: “Right.”
Taylor: “Okay?”
Taylor: “I just don’t play dirty. If you want me to go up there and air everything out, that’s not what I’m going to do. I mean, I got to go home about it.”

On Haley’s who-would-you-put-up question:

Melody: “Well, I hate the f—ing whole thing where it’s like — especially, like, new age BB, it’s just like, well, like, who would you put up if you were HOH? B—-.”
Taylor: “Oh, she tried to ask me that, but I didn’t answer.”
Melody: “And I told her when she asked me. I said, you. Not you.”
Melody: “Because I’m like, oh, well — she literally told me. She was like, well, I heard that this. And I was like, yeah, I would.”
Melody: “Like, and because what am I supposed to do? Like, what did you want me to say? Like, oh, um, um, um, Mallory, Drew — like, what the f—? Like, no.”
Melody: “Or start listing off your allies and get myself in more hot water? Like, I’m not a f—ing idiot.”
Melody: “And you know that I don’t like you. So there’s literally no point of me trying to sit here and be like — why the f— would I lie?”
Melody: “And apparently, because I didn’t lie to her, that offended her. She told somebody that.”
Taylor: “But she told me I should be more blunt.”
Taylor: “Even though she tells me all the time I’m hot and cold. Which means either I’m blunt, that means I’m direct.”
Taylor: “She don’t know what the hell she want to say.”
Melody: “She doesn’t, bro. She thinks she’s playing. No, the whole f—ing thing she’s doing is—”
Taylor: “She contradicts herself a lot.”
Melody: “No, she’s a f—ing hypocrite.”
Taylor: “Yeah, she contradicts herself a lot. Big-time hypocrite as well, yeah.”
Melody: “She thinks she’s, like, playing this game so well, and I’m like, bro, that’s why no one likes you. Like, that’s why everyone’s running your name through the mud. Because you — I don’t even know what the f— you’re doing.”

They regroup.

Taylor: “I’m sorry, dude. This f—ing sucks.”
Melody: “I know.”
Taylor: “It’s okay, though. We gonna get through it.”
Melody: “No, we’re gonna get through it like we have every other time. You don’t have to go home.”
Taylor: “That’s the same thing I said the first week.”
Melody: “I said none of us have to go home. And none of us went home. Actually, all three weeks.”
Melody: “Still f—ing sucks. But at least we’re here. I don’t know. It’ll be okay. It’ll be okay.”

10:26 am – Dee and Devens, whispering

America’s vote for this week’s power has gone out, and neither of them got it. They think it went to Mallory.
Dee slipped in the gym — she told Barrett the target is Drew.

Dee: “You guys talked in detail at the gym. So I said that Drew was the target.”
Devens: “I didn’t tell him that. I didn’t know that.”
Dee: “I f—ed up.”
Devens: “I can tell him that. I’ll just tell him, like, apparently Drew’s the target. Because we had talked about how he had thrown my name out. Thank you for letting me know.”
Dee: “It’s not different.”
Devens: “I’ll tell him.”
Dee: “But I didn’t know if we were going to tell him that.”
Devens: “Was he cool with that?”
Dee: “I mean, he didn’t sound like it.”
Devens: “I was scared that he was next.”
Dee: “I was just there.”

On the power:

Dee: “It has to be an underdog.”
Devens: “We need to convince. We need to try.”
Dee: “I kind of feel like shit, though. Because I don’t get it.”
Devens: “Oh, you’ll get it next week. We’re too powerful.”
Dee: “Yeah, that’s what it is. We’re too powerful.”
Devens: “They’re like, it’ll be boring if we give it to them.”

Devens: “But if she thinks this week that Melody’s going, maybe she uses it on Melody. And Melody’s not even the target.”

Dee says they should get closer to Mallory in case she has the power.

Devens: “And I’ve been, like, great with her. We just don’t talk strategy at all.”
Devens: “But if Melody’s gone, she’ll be looking for people.”
Dee: “Yeah.”
Devens: “But Melody is only gone if Drew stays.”
Dee: “If Melody goes, that means Drew stays. Which we probably won’t be doing.”

On the episode that played in the house:

Dee: “The fact that you watched that yesterday — I don’t even remember half the shit.”
Devens: “Yeah.”
Dee: “Cause it’s so stupid. Oh my god.”
Dee: “What’s one big thing?”
Devens: “I know he was talking about that with me too.”
Devens: “I’m like, great, so that she can bail on us the way she bailed on Mallory, the way she bailed on us.”
Dee: “It’s because he thinks he has a hold on her, which is fine.”
Devens: “Which is like, come on, man.”

On Drew:

Dee: “Does Drew think that he’s going home?”
Devens: “No, I don’t think he does.”
Dee: “I feel like he’s, like, all over the place.”
Devens: “I mean, I think he’s worried, yeah. But I don’t think he feels it strongly yet.”
Dee: “Anything else?”
Devens: “I don’t think so. I think everything, you’re pretty aware of. I’m honestly just like — this is great. It sounds like it’s on autopilot. Let me stay out of it. But I’ll talk to Barrett.”

10:41 am – Haley and Kamu, HOH room. Chuk joins near the end.

Kamu checks in.

Kamu: “Just checking in. You doing well?”
Haley: “Yeah. I just needed to sleep last night. About, like, three hours of sleep, and then, like, all the energy was just a lot.”
Haley: “And then I tried to drink a lot of caffeine, which, I’m like, makes it ten times worse.”
Kamu: “Yeah, especially for you with your heart.”
Haley: “Yeah, I just had palpitations all day. And, like, I had, like, the craziest dream, and I was like, I’m done. I’m over it.”
Haley: “But everything’s fine. Minus the talk with Taylor. I mean, again, I feel like any blood that I have on my hands, I already had on my hands.”

On today’s veto:

Haley: “I want to make sure that whoever’s picked, though, obviously—”
Kamu: “Keeps noms the same.”
Haley: “Yeah. And then, regardless if our plan with Drew doesn’t work — because the only person that doesn’t know is Barrett.”
Haley: “But I think whoever goes home, it’s going to be perfect. Doesn’t matter. In my opinion.”
Haley: “Because, like, a lot of the girls don’t care for Melody. And then Taylor doesn’t have a lot. Taylor’s cool with people, but, like, it’s not going to be a missing piece for anyone.”
Haley: “And then Drew, I think that would be huge for us.”
Haley: “However, Dee’s comment was right. She stood up at the tea party and said, hey, this is not an alliance. It was just to get Rome out.”
Kamu: “Yeah, we’ll see how today plays out.”

Worst case: the fourth nominee.

Haley: “What’s the worst-case scenario you think could happen?”
Kamu: “I think that you’d have to nominate a fourth.”
Haley: “Who do you think that would be?”
Kamu: “You mentioned Lyric, right?”
Haley: “Yeah, but you kind of vetoed that.”
Kamu: “I mean, but it’s your HOH.”
Haley: “I don’t care, to be very honest. I think she would be the least amount of blood, knowing that these two people are going to get out. Or one of them’s going to go.”
Haley: “I think she’s, like, obviously trying to earn a lot of that trust. And I would just say, like, you could do the same for me if it comes down to this, so you don’t have to put another person’s blood on your hands.”
Haley: “I mean, I guess I could do Yash.”
Kamu: “Yash is so down for us.”
Kamu: “And I think that Yash — like, let’s say Drew does go this week. I think that Yash kind of takes that place.”
Haley: “Right. And then I thought about, like, Mallory. But then if I put Mallory, she’s so close to winning other things that I’m like, I don’t want to chance that.”
Haley: “But I think Lyric is the best option. Because she is trying to come over. I just — I’m praying that noms are the same.”
Kamu: “Yep, I agree. That’s best case scenario. Worst case scenario is that one of them wins. You have to nominate a fourth.”

Who Haley should pick to play:

Haley: “I know you said you wanted to be, like, undercover this week. Do you want me to pick you? Should I pick Devens? Should I pick Chuk?”
Haley: “Because I think the people that you pick, that opens eyes for the people of, like, oh, she’s working with this person.”
Kamu: “Yeah, totally. It’s like Lala picking Jason, right?”
Haley: “Correct. So that’s why I’m like, I want to pick you, but I don’t want to pick you.”
Kamu: “I would kind of — yeah, I hope that I don’t get picked entirely, right? Like, that’s what I would prefer.”
Kamu: “But I know that if Drew wins, he asked me if he could pick me. I said yes. If you win, I’m also going to say yes.”
Kamu: “If you pick me to play and I win, then it makes sense that I do with the veto what you want me to do, right?”
Kamu: “I told Drew yesterday — he asked me, if I pick you to play, would you want to play? And I was like, dude, yeah. Because genuinely, I do want to play in as many comps as I can. This is fun as shit.”
Kamu: “He goes, would you use the veto on me? I said, dude, I don’t know. I said, it’d put me in a really tricky position, because I would love to use it on you. But at the same time, I don’t want to upset the HOH, because then Haley would have to nominate a fourth. I said, so I really don’t know.”

Haley recaps her cover story from the face-mask talk with Drew.

Haley: “It’s funny, because yesterday we were going through it again. In the middle of my face mask. And I was like, I’m not taking it off.”
Haley: “And so I was, like, naming out people. And your name got brought up. And I was like, Kamu is not even an option. I’m scared of him. Next.”
Kamu: “Perfect. That’s perfect. Because basically, I was like, I wouldn’t want to go against the HOH, you know.”
Kamu: “But if you do pull houseguest choice or whatever, you can absolutely pick me.”
Haley: “I’m kind of thinking, like, Chuk’s already out there, that, you know, worst case. Someone’s bound to get picked on our end.”
Haley: “But the only problem is, like, I don’t want Melody to pick Mallory. Because I think she could win it too, just depending on what it is.”
Haley: “And then I just hope that Lala and Angela don’t get picked.”
Haley: “I mean, if Melody does get picked, she’s for sure gonna pick Mallory. Which is fine. But then that means, like, I can’t backdoor if it came down to it, if I needed to. Which it wasn’t my plan anyway.”
Haley: “I want to be less one person, in case she does win that HOH next week.”
Kamu: “Did she confirm that with you, by the way — Mallory?”
Haley: “No, I’m just saying in my head. I’m looking at who got nominated. And, like, Devens is out of the clear. So I think next week you’re going to be fine.”

Haley lands on Chuk.

Haley: “Yeah, I think it’d be funny. Like, I’m looking at Chuk. If I get to pick and Chuk gets played, Taylor’s going to be like, you’re going to use that on me. And he’s not going to.”
Kamu: “That might even be better. I think it makes the most sense.”
Haley: “Because him and I are — obviously, I’m not hiding the fact that, like, yeah, we’re cool, we’re friends. And I’m not hiding the fact that Angela and I are cool. I hide the fact that Dee and I are a lot closer.”
Haley: “Obviously, you hide the fact that you and I are a lot closer, which I think is great. But we just got to keep up with the storylines.”
Kamu: “I totally agree. Yeah, on second thought, I think you should pick Chuk.”
Kamu: “Because then it doesn’t make you look like you’re closer with other people than you really are. But you pick Chuk, everyone goes, of course, right? So, like, it’s easy.”
Kamu: “And then the best case scenario after that is that Drew does not play. Because he hasn’t played in anything, and all this stuff — he’s gotten out pretty quick.”
Kamu: “Now I think that’s a good move. And then hopefully Drew does not get to pick. If he gets to pick, he’s probably gonna pick me. And then at that point, maybe I throw it, depending on what the comp is. Or maybe I just win and keep the noms the same.”
Kamu: “But I also don’t want you to have to nominate a fourth. That’s the thing.”
Haley: “But I do think Lyric would understand. No one’s going to love it, but I think she would get it — to kind of prove, like, hey, you’re with us.”
Haley: “But I just don’t have another. Unless you want to volunteer.”
Kamu: “I’ve shown it. I’ve shown that I’m with you guys.”
Haley: “I think that would be fun TV, you know?”
Kamu: “No, the audience — they don’t want to see that.”

On Drew and the totem pole:

Kamu: “That’s Drew’s whole thing. Drew’s like, dude, we have people on the other side. Why would I go up as a pawn?”
Kamu: “Obviously he doesn’t know the big picture, but I think anybody in our alliance outside of Drew, who’s kind of been playing both sides, would feel that way.”
Haley: “It does give off the narrative, too, of, like — and Drew and Barrett, you’re at the low end of the totem pole, which absolutely I get it.”
Haley: “But then I flipped the narrative on him yesterday. And I was like, think about it. Who’s at the actual low end? Angela, Dee and I. I was like, you have f—ing nine other guys at this point.”
Kamu: “That’s a great point.”
Haley: “So I flipped it on him, and he was like, no, that makes total sense. And I was like, but we can’t control how the house divided.”
Haley: “And I said — to be honest, it’s actually Angela that’s at the low end, because Dee and I are just younger and obviously could be more of a threat competitive-wise. And he goes, no, you’re so right. And I’m like, thank you. So I think he finally gets it.”

Kamu offers another angle for the Drew speech.

Kamu: “Another angle, if you even wanted to, that you could take with him is, like, hey man, between us, Melody’s my target. And I just put you up because I knew that if you got picked to play in the veto, you’d probably feel obligated to use it on her. So I put you up as a pawn. That way, if you win, you’re going to take yourself down and leave Melody up there.”
Haley: “Well, I told him both ways.”
Haley: “I said, I’m not somebody that’s going to play on emotion — because he was like, why didn’t you put Lala? And I was like, because that’s showing my entire alliance that I can’t handle emotion. And she is no threat to anybody.”
Haley: “I was like, yeah, would I love for her to get out? Yeah, she’s annoying.”
Haley: “But Melody — she can say all she wants. I don’t care about the words. But she flat looked at me, and I asked her, who would you put up? And she goes, well, you.”
Haley: “Which I’m like, okay, you got a first-class f—ing ticket right up on the block.”
Haley: “And Taylor — Taylor’s cool with everyone. I like Taylor. But she has no alliance to anybody.”
Haley: “I have no problem voicing: hey, you’re on the block because you told me I’d be put on the block, and you don’t have an alliance.”

On Taylor at the tea party:

Haley: “I’m not a mean person or malicious, and I’m not going to sit there and be like, Taylor, you have nobody, that’s why you’re up there.”
Haley: “So I pulled the teapot. I don’t know if she was giggling. I know it pissed me off when she was laughing at first, but I don’t know if she was there the whole time.”
Haley: “I even told her, and I said, this is, like, kind of a character thing. And I was like, who came up to you first when you were crying when Jason went out, just to make sure that you’re okay — knowing damn well him and I are cool? I did. And I was like, because I’m kind.”
Haley: “And she just was like, so I’m guilty by association. I said, no, you’re guilty by your actions. And again, you could throw in the association because of your actions.”
Haley: “And then she’s avoided me since. But I was like, again, at the end of the day, it’s a game.”
Kamu: “Yeah. It’s hard. You got to make tough decisions. You have to have tough conversations.”
Haley: “And I’ve thrown that olive branch multiple times. I think she is waiting for somebody to be like, hey, let’s all meet, let’s solidify it. But there was no action. So I’m like, I’m over it.”
Haley: “But I did plant the seed yesterday, and I was like, you know, she wasn’t going to keep you. She was going to go for Jason.”
Haley: “I had to do that for my own gameplay. But I mean, it wasn’t wrong. It wasn’t wrong.”
Kamu: “I heard they squashed the beef. I heard they had a conversation this morning.”
Haley: “They squashed it. However, it’s washed, and I think they’re both playing their own game at this point.”
Haley: “And I think it was huge that I went and said to her, hey, you have my vote, to Lala. And then she, like, teared up. And I was like, I know we have tension. We’re not always going to be on the same side. But I respect you as a person. I respect you as a player.”

Chuk arrives.

Haley: “Who is that?”
Kamu: “Chuk.”
Haley: “I want to hear him say he wants to play over you. Come in.”
Chuk: “Question, question. What up, Drew? Veto.”
Chuk: “Yeah, dude, we were just talking about this. So Drew’s asked Yash. Drew asked Yash to use the veto on him. Yash told him straight up no.”
Chuk: “He asked me as well. And Drew’s probably going to ask me, and I’ve been saying, oh, I’m down to play veto. I’ve been kind of cascading around the house — I’m down to play veto.”
Chuk: “And I don’t want Drew to, because we want to keep noms the same.”
Chuk: “Lyric is ready to play veto, and I think this is the perfect opportunity for her to show you her trust. I don’t think Drew would assume that Lyric would use it on him.”
Haley: “Here’s what we were kind of just saying. Looking at it — Lala got to pick Jason. That is an automatic, you know they’re together.”
Haley: “But looking at who picks who is a very clear alliance. We’ve done a very good job of separating.”
Chuk: “I think me and you have done a phenomenal job, dude, separating.”
Kamu: “Yeah, it’s huge. People talk about the three of us, but over time, I think people are talking about us less and less, which is perfect.”
Haley: “But again, we’re cool, and I think we make the most jokes out of a lot of shit. Obviously, ours is a lot more under wraps. So I think if I had to choose, I’d still probably choose you, because that narrative hasn’t changed since day one.”
Chuk: “Yeah, okay, perfect. I’m stoked.”
Haley: “You also haven’t played really in anything.”
Haley: “Devens — I’m also kind of floating Devens, because it doesn’t look like Devens and I are close at all. But he has shown to be such a good player about a lot. So if I wanted to do just more of a random draw, that’s my other person I would float.”
Chuk: “Perfect, perfect, perfect. With Drew, noms are the same.”
Haley: “Noms are the same.”
Chuk: “Okay, we’ll have to babysit him.”
Haley: “I just don’t want Mallory to get picked.”
Haley: “And then if I had to put somebody else up, I would just talk to Lyric. Because everybody else — I think people would understand, but I don’t want to blur any other lines. But Lyric is the one that’s trying to come to our side.”
Haley: “And I’ll be like, if I get to do this, then I will prove to you — if you’re up there next week, you can put my ass up.”

Lala is on her way up. The conversation shifts to Chuk’s ground turkey meal prep as she comes in.

11:03 am – Yash and Lala

They talk about Taylor, who is on the block and furious.

Yash: “Is she mad at you?”
Lala: “She was thinking I was the reason she was on the block. She found out the real reason now.”
Yash: “I feel like she’s being a little standoffish and shit.”
Lala: “I know. And I talked to her.”
Yash: “I was like, yo, like, I’ve been there, and I know a part of you wants to just say f— everybody.”
Lala: “No, she wants to say f— everybody. She wants to go the f— off. Right now. No, like, no, no.”
Yash: “But I can tell she’s not in a good head space. Because yesterday she was telling me, she’s like, I’m just f—ing mad. She’s like, I don’t like when I’m mad.”
Yash: “I was like, listen, channel that shit.”
Lala: “Because we’ve got to do the veto. We’ve got to win the veto.”
Yash: “I was like, it’s good that you’re mad, because now is not the time to be sad. You’re still in this shit. You have two chances to win. It’s better you’re mad, because you can use that to compete. You can’t use sadness to compete.”
Yash: “So I was like, Taylor, use the anger.”
Lala: “Good. Then go out and win. Good.”
Yash: “Because that’s still my girl. I’m like, bro, to the end.”
Lala: “Let me tell you. Me and Taylor — she’s my child. So when I thought she was mad at me, I was like, what did I do?”
Yash: “And that was my — I mean, my feelings were hurt yesterday.”
Lala: “And when she came down, she was kind of, like, blaming me at the time.”
Yash: “Yeah, that’s the vibe I got, too.”
Lala: “Yeah, she was kind of blaming me at the time. And now she knows what the trip is. Now we’re cool, but it’s just like, I’m like, girl, just hold it together.”
Yash: “Don’t go — because she’s ready to go the f— off.”

On Haley:

Lala: “Because Haley was extremely disrespectful to her. She talked to her, and she’s blaming her for Jason’s shit.”
Yash: “Yeah, yeah, yeah.”
Lala: “Oh, she can’t do that yet.”
Yash: “No. She can’t do that yet.”
Lala: “I’m just trying to play it real cool right now, because I got to be a go-between. I got to find out what’s going on on the other side.”

Yash on what Taylor asked him:

Yash: “And that’s the thing that was up, too. Yesterday, she kind of asked me. She was like, I’m trying to figure out—”
Lala: “I would definitely play for her.”
Yash: “And I had to tell her, like, I can’t. I can’t.”
Yash: “Yeah — you, I think.”
Lala: “Because you’ve got to stay close.”
Yash: “Exactly. And I told her that.”
Yash: “And I was like, you think Lala would? And she was like, Lala definitely would.”
Yash: “But that shit f—ing sucked, where I had to tell her, like, okay, like — you.”
Lala: “Correct.”
Yash: “If I use the veto, it severs me from those six.”
Lala: “Correct. Right now, can’t do that.”
Yash: “I know. And having to say that to someone who you’re trying to go to the end with is tough.”
Lala: “No, I know.”
Yash: “We had a similar conversation. But I hope she knows.”
Lala: “I hope she knows it’s still real.”
Lala: “That’s the tough part about this game.”
Yash: “I know. And each week it changes. It always changes.”

Yash: “I know they want us. I know they want us together.”
Lala: “Exactly.”
Lala: “But, yeah, not the time to go off.”
Yash: “No, not at all. Okay, baby. Good chit-chat, though. Good chit-chat, always.”

11:31 am – Barrett and Devens, kitchen

Barrett now knows Drew is the target — Dee let it slip in the gym. He comes to Devens with questions.

Devens: “It’s like, you reap what you sow, to an extent. But also, I can see it changing up a lot in the next several days.”
Devens: “I would like to be on the same page as you in terms of our approach.”
Barrett: “Yeah, I would love to as well.”
Barrett: “And he told me last night that he asked you and Yash to use the — like, if you were to get on. And y’all both were, like — or you were, like, a maybe, and Yash just pulled out something.”
Devens: “Yeah.”
Barrett: “I told him, like, I’d probably do it, but—”
Devens: “I was like, that’s a really awkward position.”
Devens: “And I was kind of like, well, if we’re starting a war, we may as well. But I don’t think we are.”

The feeds cut away briefly.

Devens: “I took the blanket off the Iron Maiden. I threw it to the ground.”
Barrett: “Oh, I had another question.”
Barrett: “Do we know the reasons why Drew is the target?”
Devens: “No.”
Devens: “Well, I think just general sketchballness was the vibe. But it was not a discussion I’ve had.”
Barrett: “Okay. I just didn’t know if I was in with the sketchballness at all, or if he was seen as the ultimate sketchball.”
Devens: “My understanding is that you are not moved in with the sketchballness. But I will keep my ears open for that.”
Devens: “If you can’t back up sketchball, then that’s one thing. And I would also not like to be in the sketchball mess.”
Barrett: “Yeah.”
Devens: “And obviously I’m not as close with the other side, because I’m not likable — which has really played into my favor.”
Barrett: “Yeah, good job.”
Devens: “But you let me know.”
Barrett: “She outlined all of that to me, too, about his—”
Devens: “Yeah, I think it’s, like, the word I keep hearing is liability.”
Devens: “It’s like, what good is an ally that you can’t count on?”
Barrett: “Yeah. I get it. I’m feeling that, too.”
Barrett: “I kind of reluctantly am, like, yeah.”
Devens: “Yeah.”

11:04 am – Chuk, Haley and Kamu, HOH room

Chuk is telling the story of Ground Turkey Gate.

Chuk: “I’m like, oh shit. I’m like, Chuk, don’t be selfish. I’m like, don’t be selfish, Chuk.”
Kamu: “But dude, this started off just for you.”
Chuk: “And then it was like, okay, now it’s me and Lyric.”
Kamu: “And now it’s for the house.”
Chuk: “Brother, we grab it. And as we’re walking back out, she’s telling people, let’s make one for Dee. Ooh, and let’s do one for Haley. I’m like, ’cause she’s trying to get Haley’s good graces.”
Chuk: “I told her, I said, Haley has a whole f—ing fridge. I’m not cooking for Haley. Not this week, dude.”
Chuk: “And I brought it back down just to see everyone’s face. And I was like, just needs a little bit of salt, dude. And people were like, oh, it needs a little bit of salt. I’m like, I didn’t make it for the whole—”
Chuk: “I’m never cooking with her again, because she loves to share too much for me.”
Chuk: “Bro, and so it just became Ground Turkey Gate, because y’all was running with it, because y’all knew I wanted it just for the meal prep.”
Chuk: “It was like, that’s why Jason left — because everyone kept eating Jason’s meal prep chicken.”
Chuk: “Jason would try meal prep, but I don’t think you can meal prep in this house, bro.”
Kamu: “Dude, no, bro. Because where are you going to store it? You know everyone’s going to be pulling.”
Chuk: “There’s no way you can protect it.”
Kamu: “Dude, this is the only fridge that’s protected.”
Haley: “It’s all healthy shit, so I know nobody wants that stuff.”

On the veto draw:

Chuk: “I’m stoked if I get to play. I was saying, I can’t wait to play. Melody kind of looked at me like, shit.”
Haley: “She talked to me a little bit today, which is cool. She’s chill. But I’m not gonna — kind of like the same thing. Like, you burn me once, you burn me twice, you burn me three f—ing times. She had to apologize three times.”
Haley: “So if you do get picked — are you leaning Chuk, are you leaning Devens?”
Haley: “I’m gonna talk to Devens. But I would probably — that would make the most sense.”
Chuk: “Okay. But just don’t embarrass me up there.”

They relive the Blockbuster.

Haley: “I’m only talking a lot of shit because you won’t drop the pickle.”
Chuk: “She’s still dizzy, dude. Like, with you, you know — you got out the pickle, you’re like, boom, you’re ready, you’re back, your equilibrium is back straight. She was coming towards us—”
Kamu: “Full speed ahead. And I said, watch out.”
Haley: “Listen, I have heart problems. I have heart problems.”
Kamu: “I thought that was the one. I thought Haley was gonna be pow, pow, pow.”
Chuk: “She was still dizzy.”
Haley: “I had three motherf—ing balls coming at one time. I was so over it.”
Haley: “I just like pulling your chops.”
Chuk: “No, but whatever you do, I don’t care. It’s going to be a vibe.”
Haley: “I think it’s going to be fun, too.”
Chuk: “I know. I need some fun. It’s f—ing getting so stagnant.”
Haley: “And then if nobody uses the veto, then there’s a renom ceremony, and then I’m done, right?”
Kamu: “That’s it.”
Kamu: “Okay, then I have, like, three days to chill.”

Chuk asks Kamu about Drew.

Chuk: “I don’t think we ever got to talk on the Drew being up — how you feel about that.”
Kamu: “Dude, I told her yesterday. My allegiance is with the Red Corner, dude. So we gotta do whatever’s best for us.”
Haley: “Ooh, tell them how I flipped the script on Drew.”
Kamu: “Oh, okay. Yeah, I got you.”
Kamu: “Unfortunately, dude, last week in particular, Drew played so hard that he really jeopardized his trust within the group.”
Kamu: “Because, dude, we would talk, and then, boom, he’d go to the backyard. He’d be whispering with Melody and Mallory.”
Chuk: “Is it crazy how shit can switch? Is it crazy how in this game, you got to play it day to day?”
Kamu: “Dude, it’s like even conversation to conversation.”
Chuk: “Dude, I’m watching what you’re doing, dude. You can’t just jump from talking to Melody and Mallory and then you’re running over here, back and forth. And even Yash — Yash actually gotta shock me too, for him to pick up even on that.”
Kamu: “Yash was out there. Yash was in here.”
Kamu: “And we were all talking about who we thought we should evict between Lala and Mallory, in the case Jason won the Blockbuster. And Yash left and went outside and was hanging out with Melody and Mallory. And I think Lyric, too. And then Drew was in here.”
Kamu: “And then Drew left second. And he went right, dude — directly beelined in the backyard, whispering what we talked about.”
Chuk: “It just raises your alliance level of suspicion, even if you’re talking about Cheetos.”
Kamu: “But then why would you have to whisper, if you’re talking about Cheetos? It’s suspicious.”
Kamu: “And it sucks, because I do think that Drew is loyal to the Tool Shed. But I also think that he would jump ship in a heartbeat.”
Kamu: “Bro, here’s the biggest issue with Drew last week: if he would have had the numbers to flip on us, he would have.”
Haley: “Barrett told me the same thing.”
Haley: “Because I flat told him, and I said, listen, there’s a lot of talk that you were the one that told her we were going to go one way, and because the numbers weren’t there. And he just sat there, like this.”
Haley: “So I’m like, okay, now your name’s out that you’ve been a little bit of a leaky faucet.”
Chuk: “So glad you told him that to his face, too.”
Haley: “Like, him and I are on an emotional level. Outside of this game, we’re cool. Because I always told him, like, thank you for the little things — he’s confiding in me a lot. But I didn’t say any names.”
Haley: “And then when I didn’t put them up, he was like, I knew I f—ed up. I’m so sorry. I was like, I’m cool.”

Kamu heads out.

Kamu: “Hey, I’m going to step out, though.”
Kamu: “Dude, hey, you’re doing a great job.”
Haley: “Thank you. Thanks for checking on me.”
Chuk: “Love you, buddy.”
Kamu: “Yep, love you, buddy. Yeah, of course.”

Haley tells Chuk about her second Taylor conversation.

Haley: “So she came up here and was just like, I want to know why I’m a pawn, like, or why I’m on the block.”
Haley: “And I was like, well, to be very honest, I told you yesterday — the way that you made me feel with just Jason around, like, it was uncomfortable.”

The feeds flip to Lala in the have-not room, then return.

Haley: “And she goes, I wish you would have came to me, because I did stick up for you.”
Haley: “And then she said, he wanted to go after Kamu and be like, you’re working with this person, this person, this person — and he’s supposed to be a man of God. And she immediately perked up, and she was like, and I’m a woman of God.”
Haley: “And in my head, I was like, so you weren’t sticking up for us. You were sticking up for Kamu, because he is a man of faith. It had nothing to do with us. It was him.”
Haley: “And so she goes — so she’s like, so I’m guilty by association. I said, no, no, no, no. That was strike two.”
Haley: “Strike three is, you f—ing laughed the entire f—ing time when that f—ing teapot was around my f—ing head. I said, that was just disrespectful and rude. Kamu had to come in and step in. Devens had to come and stand behind me, because of the fact that he wouldn’t f—ing stop.”
Haley: “And I said, so again, yeah, that pissed me off. And that’s your strike three. You laughed the whole f—ing time.”
Haley: “She goes, I didn’t know it was three times. And I said, you didn’t. But you also knew I didn’t feel well.”
Haley: “So, strike three. And I said, that was a wrap for me. And she goes, well— Okay. Okay. And so she walked right out.”
Haley, still recounting what she said to Taylor: “The way I threw your name out was because, I’m like, you were sitting there letting him talk about me, Chuk, and Angela — on character, and who we are as a person outside of the house. Had nothing to do with the game. I’m cool with the game talk. But that was bulls—.”
Haley: “But you only stuck up for Kamu because he was the HOH and because he’s a man of God. No thank you.”
Chuk: “You kind of dug your own bridge. I didn’t know that.”
Haley: “She was there. And I told her, and I said, multiple people came up and said that you were in that conversation.”
Chuk: “I’m always confiding, and I’m always, like, calling her.”
Haley: “Yeah, no — she knew all that.”
Haley: “And I learned that yesterday from Yash. I knew it came from Jason. I didn’t know Taylor was in it. So that was a good, like, hey — one, two, three, you’re out.”
Chuk: “That’s great. And your nominations are amazing. You’re doing so fantastic.”
Haley: “Yeah, and I think the worst thing I could have been like, you have nobody. You literally are not in an alliance. If Haley was playing mean girl Haley, I would have said that shit.”
Chuk: “I’m glad you didn’t.”
Haley: “But I wanted to.”
Haley: “Because it’s not guilty by association. It’s your actions with the person that you’re f—ing doing it with, and how you make other people feel.”

On Taylor’s claim she tried to talk game:

Haley: “And she had told me, she was like, I did try to talk to you about noms one day. I said, no, you didn’t. Like, no, you didn’t.”
Haley: “Because I can recall maybe four conversations. One was about your hair. One was about talking shit about the stuff that was outside. Three, I came up to you to talk — we were cool about it. And then four, one was about nail polish.”
Haley: “So, like, we don’t really talk. We are sitting in the same room, but, like, we don’t really talk.”
Chuk: “No, you guys definitely don’t.”
Haley: “And then I told her — the first conversation, I was like, you’re sitting there crying, and crying to Chuk, when I come downstairs, because you’re scared of the block. Like, that’s already guilt on your name.”
Haley: “And I was like, I even clocked Melody crying with the fact that I even won. And I was like, you don’t think that that’s, like, a hello, woo-hoo, red flag?”
Chuk: “Because if someone won HOH and I start crying — I know I probably did something to this person to warrant me to start crying. Because I’m like, shit, they’re going to put me up.”
Haley: “That’s why I’m like, I’m not doing the bulls—. I’m not doing the drama. And I’m not here for your games. So that’s why I said, I’m going to keep the same energy.”
Haley: “The entire time she’s out there, I was sitting like this. Did not do anything. Same tone, same whatever. Yeah, that’s why you’re on the block.”
Chuk: “I’ve talked to her on such a personal level, and that kind of hurt.”
Haley: “We all knew that, too. Because that’s why she’s so quiet right now. Like, as you should be. You f—ed up.”
Chuk: “Your HOH has had so much emotion. And I knew week four’s HOH was going to be like that.”
Chuk: “Because we have trimmed off the big blubber, all the big organs of our cattle. Now we’re just trimming off the fat. And with the fat, the emotions are going to come.”

On Kamu and Lyric:

Chuk: “His reasoning — does he want to keep saving her because he knows she’s never going to put us up? Us three guys, we definitely know if she was HOH, she is never going to put us up. But then we also have to look out for our girls.”
Haley: “He’s not giving me, like, another, like, who else to put up — a smart move. But not loving the fact that I would put a player—”
Chuk: “I talked to Kamu, that, like, I know us guys might be safe, but we also need to protect our girls in our alliances.”
Chuk: “Because I would want to make sure that y’all are having those convos with Mallory, to where y’all are keeping y’all girls safe — you and Dee and Angela — but also looking out for our guys.”
Haley: “That’s why I extended the olive branch to Mallory, and I was like, I’d love to work with you. But then she hasn’t talked to me since I won.”
Chuk: “Because she’s eating cucumbers and zucchini with Bear in the storage. She’s making all her meals in there now.”
Haley: “Drew slipped up yesterday and was like, yeah, they’re a thing. Mallory and Barrett.”
Chuk: “I saw the way she stepped up to his height, and he couldn’t even look her in her eye, because I was right there. I was like, brother, that’s your girl.”
Chuk: “She wanted to be his height on the steps, or her bed. And she said, look, I’m your height now. And he was like this. I’m like, brother, it’s okay. You’re here in this house with people for so long.”
Haley: “Well, they’re not really speaking.”
Chuk: “I love it. They weren’t together this morning. She was eating by herself at that table. Usually Drew would have ran to her and did some f—ing Johnny Bravo f—ing shit.”

Chuk: “Imagine how Taylor would have handled an HOH. Imagine how anyone else would have handled an HOH right now.”
Chuk: “Oh, I would have been put up immediately. You winning is, like, so pivotal.”
Chuk: “Who goes home this week is going to put a wrench in whatever is with Taylor and Lala, whatever they’re with — Melody, Drew, and Barrett, Mallory. It’s amazing.”
Haley: “I’ve been so close to everything, minus the pickle thing. But I’ve been so close that I’m like, it’s going to happen. I truly did.”
Haley: “I think I literally stopped listening to the instructions during that HOH, because I’m like, I don’t get it, whatever. And then once I won the first one, I was like, wait, I know the second one.”
Chuk: “So I probably shouldn’t have had that meeting last night saying, Haley’s not that smart.”
Chuk: “You are kind of smart. You know I love you. It’s all love.”

They watch the monitor.

Chuk: “Who is that? And why are they moving like that? Oh, that’s Melody.”
Chuk: “Everyone’s just quiet, honestly. Everyone’s standing there being quiet. Everyone’s just, like — interesting.”
Haley: “Barrett.”
Chuk: “Vito, Vito. So tall. He even looks tall in the camera.”
Haley: “Do you want any snacks? Do you want anything?”
Chuk: “Can I have snacks? You ever really, like, opened up the snacks?”
Haley: “Well, I think I freaked everybody out.”
Chuk: “You are the first person no one wants to get a snack from.”
Haley: “No one’s looked at them.”
Chuk: “I’m scared to look at them. What can I have? Talk to me.”
Haley: “You can have anything. Because I’m not somebody that’s going to eat the entire thing. The only thing I’ve been picking at is the Froot Loops.”
Haley: “It’s so crazy that they gave me the Tootsie Pops, because my stepdad f—ing eats them. So any that I eat, I might make a little scrapbook, like how Angela said. But I’m going to bring those back.”
Chuk: “They’re so good.”

12:45 pm Melody and Mallory

Waiting on the veto player pick. Melody hunts the fridge for a snack and comes up empty.

Mallory: “I’ll make, like, a protein mug cake after the veto. Or at least, if I’m not picked, I’ll make it before.”

They move to the pod room.

Mallory: “What do you think Jason’s thinking right now?”
Melody: “I don’t even know. Probably just like, I f—ing told you guys. Like, what the f—.”
Melody: “It’s just, like, annoying.”
Melody: “Do you think that Yash would keep me over Taylor?”

The feeds flip away. When they return, Melody is on Kamu.

Melody: “The thing that is funny — they genuinely think that they are so much stronger than us. Like, the way that Kamu speaks to me, and the way that he was speaking to me when we used to be, like, fake in our eyes. As soon as he said that shit about you, I immediately was just like, you think I’m f—ing stupid.”
Melody: “I see right through it.”
Mallory: “It’s good that they think we’re dumb.”

Melody on the veto:

Melody: “I don’t give a f— if it’s, like, f—ing beat the Grand Master of Chess. I’m doing it. Like, I don’t give a f—. It’s happening.”
Melody: “Because, obviously, what I’ve been doing in the past and what I’ve been thinking in the past, or whatever — it’s not working. It’s just not. I need to do something different.”
Melody: “I really don’t want to go home. On so many different levels. I want to keep playing Big Brother. I want to be here. I want to see that b—- lose.”

Mallory recounts her HOH conversation with Haley — she says Haley is playing Melody, and that when Haley asked her why she was talking shit, her mind went blank and she couldn’t come up with the obvious answers. She hopes Lala is smart enough not to fall for it either. She tells Melody the accusations were malicious, made-up shit, and that the biggest thing is whether Haley spread it.

Mallory: “Your two biggest things are definitely the pot around the head, and her laughing about that.”
Mallory: “And then again, this whole, like, making you feel uncomfortable throughout the whole game. That’s been her M.O.”
Mallory: “Well, she had strength around her, and now she doesn’t.”
Mallory: “So I’m good. I’ll be down in a sec.”
