8:30pm Kitchen – Angela had wrangled the other house guests singing the BB blues in the kitchen for the HOH camera. Mallory – We’re stuck in this house, with ants on the ground. And I’m the block! Lyric – oh to look like Rick Devens, he’s a slice of heaven! Yeah I’m living in hell! Jason – I spilled so much tea.. that I’m a nominee. They take a bunch of selfies and group photos. Then play pass the phone. Mallory – “I’m passing the phone to someone who can’t stop singing” and then I pass it to Lyric. Lala – “I’m passing the phone to someone who wipes his a$$ backwards” and then passes it to Chuk. Mallory – “I’m passing the phone to someone who made me a havenot, put me on the block and ruined my tea party” and then passes the phone to Kamu. Kamu – “I’m passing the phone to somebody I’ve literally been trying to evict since day one” and then passes the phone to Drew. Drew – “I’m passing the phone to someone who could never replace Rachel Reilly” and then passes the phone to Dee. Devens – “I’m passing the phone to someone who’s top 3 movies are Planet of the Apes” and then passes the phone to Yash.
HOH Room – Yash, Kamu and Drew Kamu – “People think we’re in a bromance” Drew – “But that couldn’t be further from the truth” Kamu – “Good Night broski” Drew – “Good night dude!” “Switch!”
9:30pm Storage Room – Barrett and Yash
Yash – ..sides for both and a part of me thinks like if Jason gets out, who’s the shot caller on that side of the war? There is no one that would take a shot. And its like not a war. Barrett – the thing is that Jason is not going to put us up on the block. It would be crazy if he did because.. I don’t know shooting himself in the foot again. Yash – Kamu would be pressed! Barrett – Kamu would be very pressed if we didn’t vote out his main target for the week after keeping us safe. Yash – yeah. Barrett – and after saying he was his target so its just a matter of are we willing to .. what’s our long term plan with like that group? Yash – that’s the thing. Barrett – its like are we willing to piss them off now in week three? Or the next time they get in power are they going to consider us on the block if they run out of people? Like that’s the thing I don’t know. Yash – yeah. Because it is a big consideration. Barrett – and would they be the most pissed at us? Or would they still be willing to target other people? Yash – exactly. Then we could be easier to blame. There is a world where we’re easier to blame. Barrett – yeah.
Barrett – I think we do whatever Kamu wants us to do, we vote out Jason. Then the next person that wins power, still a good chance that it could be anyone that would put up those three. And not worry about us or anybody .. that was part of wither like the icons or those three. Yash – I just don’t know if we should tell Devens. Right? Barrett – I know. I think the decision should be, me you and Drew.
10:20pm Bedroom – Dee and Drew.
Drew – if Jason is up on the block against anyone, just get rid of him. Its that easy. Dee – is that what everyone is saying? Because I feel like I was getting a weird vibe about keeping Jason today. Drew – Melody and Mallory are like we have to keep Jason. I don’t want Jason here. Dee – yeah. Drew – I think he has a power. Dee – and he can also win against anybody. Drew – if Jason wins block buster and its against Mallory or Lala which side do you lean towards? Dee – Honestly either way. I do feel like Lala is not a good competitor but also we could keep her here longer, do you know what I mean? As long as Mallory doesn’t put me up. Drew – between you and me I don’t like Chuk and Haley. At all. I f**king hate them. Dee – I know. I know. Drew – I f**king hate Haley and when she talks it pisses me off. Dee – I know. Drew – she has no idea what is going on. Lets just get rid of Lala becuase she is always going to be with Jason and Jason’s here. You cut off one of his votes, right? And like Mallory and Barrett are like this. And Mallory and Melody are like this.
11:50pm Kitchen – Jason and Melody
Jason – I want to have conversations with you, and you’re the only person. It’s just, honestly, me talking to everyone has got me in trouble. And I want to keep my conversations short so that no one has anything they can say. But I want to be honest and say, I f**k with you, and if I stay here, I want to f**king work with you and the girls. Melody – yeah. Jason – I don’t know if it’s tonight, but I want to clear the air with everything. You know what I mean? Like, so I can be on a very clean slate with you and the girls because I was to f**k them over, right? Melody -Okay, I agree.
12:20am – 1am Backyard Hammock – Drew, Angela and Dee
Drew – if I had a vote today, I would hope Mallory wins blockbusters now. But if Jason were to not win it, oh wait, sorry. If Jason were to win Block Buster and it was Mallory versus Lala. For me I can see both sides of it. I can see that it’s a good thing. And I talk to Mallory more than I talk to Lala. Angela – Yeah. Drew – And I feel like the vibe in the house would be a little less like, I feel like Lala is rubbing people the wrong way a little bit. So maybe people would be happier. But also in this game, maybe having somebody rub somebody the wrong way is a good thing, because they’ll be upset. But if I were to vote right now between Mallory and Lala, I would vote out Lala. Angela – I appreciate the honesty. They talk about the Tea Party Drama and how Jason handled it really well. Drew – I think she’s super like nice. So that’s why it would be, kind of heartbreaking to vote her out, even though she’s..I don’t like that idea. Even though she’s like, probably a better competitor and the right decision would probably get rid of her. Like, she wouldn’t put me up tomorrow. Me and Barrett could talk to her. I don’t even know if you want us to talk like after. They go back and forth about who to vote out if Jason wins the block buster.
Kamu joins them. Kamu pushes to take out Jason if they can this week and if he wins Block Buster, they should take out Mallory who is the next best competitor. Kamu – within the next couple weeks we’re going to be running out of people on that side to take out Lala’s not going to sneak by. When it comes down to like, hey, are we going to eliminate or evict the tool shed member or Lala ‘s. She’s not going to like sneak into the, you know what I’m saying? Drew – Yeah, I know what you’re saying there. Kamu – So it’s like if we want to keep power, we have to take out their best competitors, which are Jason and and Mallory and that’s just my opinion. What I worry about is I’m fully confident that we’ll win HOH next week because we have so many people. And if Jason comes off because he wins the block buster who are we putting in there next week that could beat him in the block buster again like Lyric, maybe she could. What is the risk if keeping Lala here? That she will maybe skate by a few more weeks? What the risk of keeping Mallory? That she will win HOH and try to take out Dee and Devens. I feel like it would be a wasted week if we had Lala and Mallory up there and we take out Lala. Drew – No the same way that we backed Devens, I think we should back you and get out who you want to get out because we’re a team.

Is it a baad plan? Not in theory. In practice it might be a bad plan.
Why?
The votes: 12 votes this week. 7 required for majority.
Barrett incorrectly assumes the plan is DOA because one of the icons would have to switch up to vote.
The voters required in the case of Jason vs. LaTrice.
Melody, Yash, Lyric, Mallory (fresh off the block in this scenario), Taylor… Barrett… Drew.
That is 7 vores. Majority. That leaves the other side with 5 votes.
So in theory it works.
Issues:
Lyric. currently trying to make Kamu her meat shield.
Taylor. currently pushing her tether alliance deal. Possibly needs convincing to get rid of LaTrice.
Drew and Barrett: oops.
Things that could be helpful to this plan. Haley right out said in front of Drew that they need to get the boys out. She is alighed with all but ONE guy theoretically, so Drew rightfully asks which guys?
Barrett misunderstood Dee when he squealed. She said go for it as in HOH to target the Trio he dislikes. Barrett thought she meant do the vote to save Jason (possible trap to get the trio after Drew and Barrett). This is the second week of test of loyalty voting.
Yash is in he says to Barrett. Because Yash suddenly dislikes Chuk. who knew.
Drew is looking at the vote and not wanting to do it. Why? He erroneously thinks the side with all the physical power to win HOH is the side he is working with. Drew is not a stick your neck out in the open player. He’s a skulk in shadows Game rat.
So effect? Totally depends on who wins Battleback.
What it does… Melody just jumped up the list of pre jury boots…. for playing big brother.
Remember, the entire Blue Corner depends on NOBODY else playing Big Brother
At some point Angela is going to decide Drew put Melody up to this. riiight?
I can never root for a stuntcast and I never liked Dee on Survivor, and liked her less on the challenge, but so far, she is setting herself up well, playing multiple angles. Hoping someone takes her out so Grod is denied her crossover Queen of 2 shows. I’m disappointed in Devens, though I don’t know why I expected more from him, right now he’s handing his game to Dee. I hate the return to this old playbook of 2 sides when it’s just 1 side forming an alliance to pick off those who were left out especially when they will be handed all these powers so there is little to no hope for the “other side” even if they win an HOH. Gonna have to wait a few weeks for the real fun to begin. It really sucks for the newbies because it limits how many of them would otherwise be playing if they didn’t have to play around the so-called Icons.
I agree! I would ba liked to see Malory or Jason in a game where Nasty people like Angela or Dee weren’t protected! It’s boring with a lopsided house!
Something that I find interesting about BB is also something that I don’t like b/c it makes it far less interesting and enjoyable. That is group mentality. Everyone is always so concerned with doing what the HOH wants that no one does anything to make a play of their own. What is with always “voting with the house”? Last week they had to get Rome out b/c that was what Devens wanted and now it’s take out Jason b/c that is what Kamu wants?? What about what you want? What about what/who is good for your game? What about being bold and taking a risk? It may pan out or it may not, but that proves you more as a player than just doing what everyone else is doing. (My most famous reminder of this is Dan’s funeral in BB14, he was locked to be voted out but he took a huge risk and it paid off) I get that going with the house is safe, but it’s also a false sense of security. It becomes just do what the person in power wants so there is no strategy, no building of relationships, no effort to win a comp and at the end nothing to really show for it.
IMO some of this started b/c in earlier seasons there were HG’s that had the idea to go in and be bold, take charge, and bulldoze their way to the end. Those who played hard and fast tended to crash and burn and get voted out. So now everyone goes in with the attitude of laying low, being friendly and hiding their strength and intelligence. Problem is everyone keeps low and no one seizes the opportunity to rise up. It’s too bad b/c they really need to. Maybe they did crash and burn, but they played and they are the ones we remember.

It is a trick that puts No blood on their individual hands. It satrted on the Frankie Grande, Cody, Zack Derrick season. They were bigger puss puss because they froze out the target and none of them could look the person in the eye. One of the ways Derrick won was that he chose who went home without any blood on his hands.
Ever since then it turned into “It is what the house wants and you can frame people by flipping your vote and causing mistrust. i.e. Angela, and Dee or Deaven could flip and blame Barret, Drew, and Taylor. that is 3 more weeks of possible cover.
It’s a true reflection of our society.
I agree. I rewatched a few older seasons and I liked how they voted for themselves. Use your own brain. Also enjoyed more alcohol flowing.

What is the purpose of doing this on a MONDAY night to an HOH that no longer has ANY power?
By the end of it I don’t think Kamu buys what Angela and Dee are selling. 90% sure he is thinking ‘hysteria.’
Dee… says thank god Devens got the power this week. In front of Angela. Not sure if it made an impression.

And this is just a regular day in the game of Angela.
See why she’s nope? All she has left to do is use one of the forbidden words that feeds will cut like last time (didn’t stop the retells)… and we’re right back to playing the looney toones theme mixed with the first bars of Cilia Black’s “you’re my world”(classic slasher music in 80’s horrors from a 60’s italian / uk love song who woulda guessed).
Aside from all the benefits they have gotten so far, at what point/week in this game will it become almost 100% apparent that one of the 3 stuntcasts will win or be definite final 2 or 3? Or can it even be apparent?
In MOST cases (Rachel and Pectacular excluded) The return bb player sits in one of the final 2 seats.
In terms of stuntcasts it is not that cut and dried.

This is what I have been saying. Unless there is a shake up, this is a yawn fest Imo because one side of the house just will steamroll the other. What’s the point if the HOHs keep coming from the same alliances and Lyric , Melody and if not this week, next Mallory are easy pickings ( Lyric will sell them both out as long as Kamu or Chuk have her back) then who is left, Taylor? ( Deven had his sights on her going soon too).maybe it will pick up when this alliance has to start turning on each other’s.
In my broken crystal ball I foresee a final 3 of Dee, Angela, and whatever 3rd Dee can manage to drag…LaLa…Hayley…Taylor…Lyric…, even Devens but that shield will likely be cut at some point for a jury vote.
when BB started bringing back past “icons” (using that term VERY loosely) the game started going downhill. They brought in past Survivor players because Survivor is a much more popular show and they wanted to bring in those fans to add viewership. They are also catering to that fanbase to get their people the powers that will keep them in the game. If Survivor players go, so does the fanbase. I much prefer all newbies doing their best to play the game.
Yeah but so often newbies are duds or just have no business in the game.
Some of them have never even watched it. Unbelievable.

So what is the result of Monday?
From the quick glimpse I’m seeing.
Kamu did start to say we need to watch Drew to Devens based on retells of Drew talking to Angela and Dee and Angela following him to hhe HOH… they get interrupted.
Kamu walks with Drew to investigate last night’s strafing. The converstaion meanders through the versatility of a flannel shirt to why Drew hates Coffee.
The Save Jason plan is basically falling apart. Barrett already ratted the plan out. Drew still didn’t know about the plan but had given some points in the anti-Jason case. Yash has already backtracked. Melody and Mallory worry about becoming targets and losing relationships with the known alliance of six that has already nom’d both of them.
Sorta feels like the entire Save Jason arc was a feint. Like the weekly Pretty Boys revelation in bbcan7… that would be hatched every weekend and mindwiped Monday morning EVERY week. Are we going to get Monday night theatre every week?
So do they now make the Blockbuster comp tailored to Jason?
That’s very likely as he’s the only over-the-top personality. Losing him will really make this year flatline
IF I was still obsessed with finding the cheats production could use by looking at past seasons…
I miiiiight wonder why there were no cams on the have not room last Wednesday overnight.
Some might say obvi because Lyric and Rome were banging in the have not room while the other have nots pretended to sleep. My tinfoil brain would say poppycock… it is because 2 noms were in the room, and if they are giving practice time to a nominee, they have to do some camtrickery like they did with Tucker the first time he was a volunteer nominee when had to sleep in the HOH room during on call hours between 10am and 10pm with no cam on him for hours… or do what they did with season 21 which was call the hg that would win the next comp to the d/r at an odd time where that hg disappeared for almost 2 hours. I used to use that in 21 to know who would win the comps the next day with a 100% success rate.
But that would only be if i was still being Super Tinfoil Me.
