Devens – This one thing has been nagging at me since the speech that occurred on nomination night. Rome – I don’t remember nomination night, so I kind of blacked out. But one thing you said, when push came to shove you felt like you couldn’t trust me. I wanted to know specifically if there was anything I did to make you feel that way. Or if maybe you felt I had stronger connections elsewhere. But when I talked with you I was like, you’re one of the only people in this house I genuinely trust. And that’s why it hurt on a deeper level when I felt like someone that I genuinely trusted kind of like forked me a little bit. So it was nagging at me, like I wonder what I did that he felt like he couldn’t trust me. Devens – right. No, first of all I’m glad we get to talk this out because I hope you know you’re one of the people I like most in the house. Which is part of the reason I’m like dude this guy is a big problem. That specific line was just you have so many people you were with that I was just like when push came to shove I wouldn’t be a priority. I think you and I are really good to separating game and personal. I am sorry about all this fallout. I wanted it to be strategic fallout. I am really sorry for that, I wanted to blow up the game strategically. I really don’t like how its affected certain relationships in person. I don’t feel good about that.
Rome – the reason why I wanted to pull you aside is because no one will ever see you and me coming ever again. Devens – its true. Rome – Now here’s the thing, I still love you and I still trust you which is funny right!? And the only reason I am saying that is because you haven’t lied to me. Devens – right. Rome – which is why I still feel like I can trust you. Isn’t that crazy. Devens – that is crazy.
Rome – So now again. it may not be this week, right. And again, if you decide that the
back door is to take me and put me on the block. Right. Devens – Fair enough, right. Rome – I don’t know if it is correct. Now it’s a lie. Now I have no trust with this. Devens – 100% yes. Rome – Now here’s the thing. If your plan is to take someone off the block and put me on the block OK I respect that as well. Now if we can negotiate here, because I would like diplomatic relations with you in the future if I prove that I can stay in this House. So if you put me on the block and either I win a win the blockbuster or I win the vote, I would still like to have a diplomatic relationship with you, right? In a sense that, hey, we could still see each other seeing this game. Far right. All right. Because you’re a f**king genius. Alright? Devens – don’t overrate me. Rome – and now you’re a comp legend. So the thing I’m gonna say is, is, if you are to take someone off the block and you’re planning on putting beyond, right? I don’t know if it blows up your strategy at all, but I would appreciate if you took Lyric off the block and put me on. If you’re playing, whatever your plan is, I’m not going to sway it. If your plan is to keep with your nominations right now, fair, fair play, right? But that would be your preference, correct? If your play is to put me on the
block because you think I’m the target and it would show everyone what’s like OK, we’re going for the kill on Rome, who is like the leader of the other side. Devens – right, right. I shoot and I miss cuz you’re a badass and pull it out which would be not a shock in the least. Rome – I would still trust you if the person you pulled off the block was Lyric. Because in two or three weeks no one would ever see you and me coming and gunning together. Devens – that’s true. And that’s a fun, beautiful thing. Rome – it really is. Devens – I hear that, I like that.
Rome – Dude, I still trust you. OK, open line of negotiation. You’re not my target in any capacity because I think what we could do in the future is really interesting because no one would see it coming, right? They’re like, oh, Roman Devens are civil because they play bags together but Devin’s aired him out on TV. Devens – One hundred percent. Rome – you know what I mean? Devens – Yeah it’s it’s a long summer. Rome – So we’re gonna need each other at some point if we’re both here. Devens – Exactly right.
Backyard – Devens, Haley and Drew
Devens – I was pretty open with him this morning like I basically told Jason that if I backdoor Rome, I need him up there to knock Rome off in the blockbuster so I basically told him I’m either going to keep noms the same and that doesn’t really do you any favors or I’m going to backdoor Rome and you got to be there to take him out. So he basically knows that he’s going to stay on the block no matter what which he took surprisingly well. So I think the main like the only thing that I’m going back and forth with is who do you really want to take off the block? It doesn’t matter ’cause they’re both staying (Melody or Lyric), no matter what, right? Like Rome or Jason is going no matter what. Drew, is it better for you if I pull Melody off? Drew – its better for me if you pull Melody off. Devens – how so? Drew – so that she finally has like some direction of where to go for a team. Devens – but aren’t you going to be her team no matter what? Like if I don’t pull her off, she stays no matter what. Drew – Obviously I would rather you pull Melody off because she is close to me because Lyric is just such like a nothing. Like you won’t get any sort of thanks or like return in your investment because she’s not going to win anything. She just doesn’t really know what’s happening.

8pm Havenot room – Rome and Lyric start making out. Rome – I love you. Lyric – I love you. Rome – I’ve missed you all damn day. You look so good. Lyric – I feel awful, I’ve been sh*t talking you all day. Rome – yeah well I made a deal with Devens so he did. Lyric – is he gonna keep it? Rome – So it’s either hopefully, hopefully either nothing changes, or you come off and I go on, when you go on. But I don’t care if I go on, I care. I’m not going to leave, not gonna lose. Whether it be a blockbuster or a vote, I’m not gonna lose. I have to, I have too big of a target on me for people to send me home, right? So, like the thing that happens is Kamu and Chuk and Yash, all three of them would want me to stay because I am the shield for them. I’m the, I’m the big dog that everyone’s scared of. So they kind of hang by the wayside, right? These people that know us, know me as the face of this side, so it keeps them under the radar. I’m still the face of everything, so they want me to stick around so I can take all the heat, right? If they take me out or the people on the other side or our side end up taking more heat because I’m gone now. I’m not the face anymore. Does that make sense? Like I’m not that worried about a vote I’m not that worried about a blockbuster, right? I’m not worried either. But I’m worried about you. Lyric – Yeah. Rome – So that’s because if go up against Melody it’s going to be tight. That was my deal with the devil because I would rather come down to either you next to Jason or you next to Melody, or me next to Jason or me next to Melody. Because the last thing I want in this entire game is me next to you. Lyric – OK. I love you,
8:25pm Backyard Hammock – Devens, Angela and Haley
Devens – If I choose to take Lyric off and not Melody, then it probably makes Melody even closer with Drew and Kamu, because she has one less place to go. It’s probably good for us. Devens – but as far as the group goes I don’t think it really matters because both of them will stay. Haley – Do you know what would shock the world. Put up Lala. I was just kidding. I’m kidding. I’m kidding. I’m kidding. I’m kidding. Devens – You have no idea how much I would love to. She might have seen that. She looked over here. I would actually love to so much. It would be so funny to be very awesome. Haley – I want to be the first to do it. I’m going to be very selfish about it. I’m so sorry, but I just want to do it. Angela – Oh I want to do it too.
9:05pm HOH room – Angela, Dee and Devens They talk about how whether Devens should take Lyric or Melody off the block. Angela and Dee convince Devens its better to take Lyric off in case Rome wins the block buster or the vote. Devens agrees to take Lyric off and put up Rome.
9:30pm – 9:50pm Backyard – Lala, Lyric and Jason
Lala – That’s why I just, the whole thing about it is that, as I said, this person (Devens) has played in a whole other game and gone far in that game. And he played by being conniving, he played by being a little snake in the f**king grass. He’s going to do the same freaking thing. He smiles to your face and he’s lovely, but he has no problem putting somebody up or cutting their throats because that’s what he gonna get paid regardless. Jason – He’s gonna get paid regardless. Lala – And America loves him for it. That’s what f**king eats me. Jason – Yeah. Lala – And that’s why I said we gotta get him out immediately. I don’t care how sweet he is. Gotta go. He’s gotta go.
Jason – if I go home. I hope you guys get him out. Lyric – if I go home, I hope you guys get him out. Lala – I’m telling you right now he’s on my hit list.
Lala to Jason – I’m trusting you. You understand me? I’m. I’m fucking serious. Because I trusted him. He threw me on the fucking bus whether he wanted to or not. I am trusting you because I said I don’t know. Can I trust Jason because he’s with Rome. I know two of them have something on. But I’m telling you right now, I trust you. I hear you, OK. And I’m not doing it. And I’m not doing it lightly at all. Jason – I hear you. And the minute I have some power, I will prove that trust to you. Lala – Don’t even. And I believe all that. But you don’t have to even say anything like that to me. I’m just telling you right now, Bottom Line is above all else I want you here. I love Lyric. I’m a fight for you guys. I love Melody. I win. I win for us. But I want to make sure that you are here. Jason – OK. Lala – I need you to know that and I’m not even gonna say anything about anything on anything else. Like if you’re not being honest with me, I trust you. Jason – The only thing that can come up is he’s gonna make a scene tomorrow and say that I’m gonna put you up. Lala – OK OK. Jason – That’s the only thing that’ll come up.

Devens – I’m the oldest guy am I acting like a f**king tyrant? Haley – She’s pissed because no ones cleaning and stuff and I am like.. Devens – we should start making messes just to piss her off. Like secretly. Haley – well tomorrow I feel like she is going to snap once Rome gets put on and at this point, I am just like f**king do it! Devens – she’s aggravating me so much. Its like we’ve all been given this gift of being on big brother just because you’re the oldest doesn’t mean you get to bully everybody else. Its like I’m the oldest dude, am I acting like an a$$hole to everybody? Haley – no. Devens – Like give me a f**king break. Haley – yeah. Devens – I am so over it. I’m so sick of her crap! Haley – really consider your decision because out there its nobody f**king Jason and Lala out there.. I don’t know what they were saying but its just like if you know that boat is sinking, why would you associate. It doesn’t make sense. Devens – I am leaning hard to taking Lyric off. Is that what your preference would be? Haley – yeah.

Lala is cleaning the messy kitchen. Lala – Gosh, this is ridiculous ya’ll!
11:10pm Backyard – Lala and Devens
Devens – I’m just trying to decide, you know, I haven’t decided what to do with the veto and and I had, you know, I think it, I hope it’s clear that I’d like Rome so much like you know, you see us bagged together like he’s amazing. I just think he’s a huge huge threat in the game. So and and listen. I told him before that nom ceremony that I would not put him up and that I would not on renom put him up. Like that is something I said. And when I said it, I believed it OK. Now I am trying to decide whether to put him up or not? Do you have an opinion? I’m open to input on it. I’m also totally understand if you don’t want to provide input on that, if you’d rather just like let it happen, well, I mean, if I put him up, it would be that I’m trying to get him out. But see the whole thing about that is the blockbuster. I’d give him a heads up ahead of time that I was thinking seriously about it. Lala – I do appreciate your balls, because you’ve got big balls. You were like f**k it, throw it on the table. Here goes.

i feel like production is gonna try pretty hard to get the house to vote out melody. rome brings in the showmance audience. jason brings in the drag race audience. melody brings in no audience. so i imagine production would prefer that she were the one to go.
She should be safe. It sounds like there’s a pretty solid plan in place for Rome or Jason, period. It makes sense. They are clearly the biggest threats on that side. To me she’s a better player than them. She just hasn’t been good at comps AND chose her initial crew poorly.
It feels like either Devens or production don’t want the showmance broken up. If they did, he saves Melody then there are Rome, Lyric, & Jason on the block. That way whoever wins Blockbuster you are still able to take out one of them. If Rome wins Bb then the goal of breaking up the showmance failed. I get why production wants the showmance to stay, but I do not understand Devens motives for doing so.
You’re wrong about that…as a straight man, I have no problem admitting that i would tune in just to see Melody, who is, hands down, the most attractive person [not just female] in the entire house, with the exception of, maybe Haley & Dee. If it’s fine for showmancers & drag queens to have someone to enjoy watching, why should it be any different for straight men…I hate that kind of bias. Over the years. A LOT of folks have tuned into this show for the eye candy, and I got the balls to own up to it

No worries, I will keep every instance of absolute bullshit I saw to myself. WAY too many anyway. One or two an episode is quite common… this total farce of an edit was horrible.
Thus far I am trying but I called the manufactured drama with Ashley ep. 1.
I knew the blockbuster winner 20 minutes before they played it by the episode edit.
I made my prediction of this week based on last week’s episode edit. Thus far it’s not wrong. I wanted to be wrong and surprised.
I already have a theory and a possible breakdown of storyline for next week, but I have to wait until wednesday’s episode to see if the edit supports it.
It’s a bit early… but I’m wondering if I can do this season. I am feeling like i can see the script more than usual…. and i’m pretending that is fine. This is usually a week four to week five question that crosses my mind. Can i suspend disbelief enough to enjoy myself?
I have no houseguest I’m cheering on yet again… mostly because everyone seems to be a muppet and i can see the wires and Grod’s hand up everyone’s ass. It is more pronounced every stuntcast season and all we have gotten for a few seasons is stuntcast crap.
I either don’t know the stuntcasts this year and had to ask around for the good and bad of how they play other reality shows… which left me with an ick…. or they are people i already didn’t like.
I’m predisposed to liking strategic thinkers and underdogs. just me, that’s the way I am.
Stuntcast seasons…. cast mostly paste eaters. Judging by how the stuntcasts are actually playing big brother if we take off our rose colored ‘but they are icons’ glasses… and it’s a good thing that jar of paste is the size of an oil drum. If they were first time reality entertainment assets… nobody would be cheering the game play we’ve seen from these supposed stars. Fact.
Raise your hand if this weeks feeds make sense. To me, it seem like a cast and production notes meeting has occurred and people are trying to follow vague notes because unscripted but situational manipulation is on brand for stuntcast seasons.
And WHAT was up with the barely even moving spin chair in that time capsule. Her hair didn’t even move. the camera was panning more than the chair was moving to add a sense of speed… and even that crapped out when they showed the overhead shot revealing to us that the chair was barely moving at all.
Okay. I’m going to avoid feeds until after the veto meeting. I don’t have any rotten tomatoes to throw at them.
I am struggling with Rome … He just creeps me out … if ever there was a “crazy eyes” it would be him with the sinister smile and eye brow lifts to go with it …
For 2 weeks I’ve listened to him repeatedly tell Lyric how beautiful the two of them are … how spectacular he is … how she should play her game …
Why on earth does he think it’s a good idea to clearly threaten the HOH before the nominations? How is this keeping your squad safe?
He thinks he’s more important than he really is for sure …
Then goes around the house repeatedly apologizing but telling it with a Rome Spin … adding to the conversations, saying Devens made him only select 3 … that was him, Rome offered to narrow those names down …
His constant ridiculing Haley and blaming her for everything is getting old …
I’m ready for a back door Rome event to take place
I immediately saw him as “ick”. He is the kind of person who sees a small supposedly helpless attractive female & he dives in, all protective & being the he-man & the boss. Of course, he saw that in Lyric. I noticed yesterday that he said something like “I fell for a singer” Lyric is playing him. I think she sees being in a showmance as a way of promoting herself post-game. She has no intention of sticking with the moron but will as long as he’s in the house. She does a pretty good job acting like the dumb helpless female (something I really detest) and its working with the cast. I don’t think anyone even suspects she’s anything more than a singer. She’s got to be, at least somewhat intelligent to be a lawyer. I still don’t like her because of using her beauty & acting like a dumb blonde, or whatever that color is. I hope Rome does go. It will be interesting to see if she latches onto another man or if her true self comes out.
Lyric definitely knows what she’s doing with the fellas and honestly, there’s nothing wrong with that. Don’t get me wrong. I think it’s trash, but that’s her game.
As far as the singer comment, I guess she was a contestant on AGT or one of those shows and Katy Perry shat on her.
She’s terrible at this game. For a lawyer, I expected her game to be much more evolved. Instead, she’s got the most basic game plan. Trying to manipulate dudes.
Rome ugh…I’m not looking forward to seeing him on Survivor.

Rome proposing the old “we should align/make a deal because nobody would see it coming” (if I were in the house I WOULD be on the look-out for that exact thing but not everyone would). I said days ago that I was worried about that exact thing…then after that, this is at least the 2nd time Rome has said/implied that idea….
AND LOOK, Devens HAS taken Lyric off the block; which is CMA for Devens in case Rome wins blockbuster. The thing is, ANYBODY with ANY brains seeing that he took off Lyric SHOULD figure out the why of it (CMA).
Good move by Rick. Rome might win the blockbuster. Keeping Lyric in there if he does fouls up his focus as well. He should never have got started with that girl. I’m not rooting for Rome, just saying.
I LOVE HINKEY VOTES as long as it does not hurt the players I like…
SO IF I were in the house and not on the block, if Rome wins Blockbuster leaving Melody and Jason, I would vote to evict MELODY if for no other reason than to sow distrust in the house AND TELL NOBODY that I did and SWEAR to everyone it WAS NOT ME. At this point, there are enough voters to provide me cover AND it may cause doubt in at least Melody’s mind. I think if Rome gets to vote he should vote to evict Melody because of several reasons, if by some miracle Melody would be voted out (although I HIGHLY doubt that would happen), that would draw Lyric closer to him and leave the other big target of Jason in the house plus if I were him, I would be worried that Melody wanted me out so Lyric would DRAW closer to HER. Remember, in his 6 to protect not only was Melody NOT among the 6 named, she was actually mentioned by Rome as someone he wanted out/on the block (probably for the reason I already said about that moving Lyric closer).
If Melody would win Blockbuster, I would vote to evict Rome BECAUSE, I saw that Devens took Lyric off and would be worried about that action being a CMA for Devens because if he REALLY, REALLY, REALLY wanted Rome out he would have left Lyric on the block. Devens POV use on Lyric is soooooooo sus.
But, the 3 left on the block are ½ of the 6 I originally had said that I wanted out ASAP; so I can’t really complain on a personal level now matter who goes; BUT I will still be able to say if a particular player made a smart vote for their game.

I wanted to like Jason, but he’s such a scene-chewing Bad Aktor that I just CANNOT. The gaping “shock” mouth, the crocodile tears, the throwing fits to get camera time…really, NO.
