Big Brother 28 Week 3 Veto Ceremony results *Updated*
Big Brother 28 spoilers: Lyric used the Power of Veto on herself and Kamu named Jason De Puy as the replacement, leaving the BB28 live feeds to spend Monday evening picking through Sunday’s tea party fallout. Taylor turns her colour-coded M&Ms alliance into a tight three with Kamu and Rick Devens, and Kamu admits he sits at the bottom of his own trio behind Chuk and Haley. Mallory Aurichio counts her votes, hears Yash will side with the house, and writes off Taylor completely.

10:10pm Backyard – Jason and Lyric
Jason – I hate them all. Lyric – I know. I love you. I need you to know that. Jason – I know. Lyric – and you’ve got balls to say what everyone else is thinking. Jason – did it seem out of line or did it seem crazy at all? Lyric – no. Jason – was what I was saying, make sense? Lyric – yes. Jason – I feel like they were all like had nothing to say cause I clocked all their game, right. Like what was just weird was like I don’t know if like I can trust Drew and Barrett. Like were they the ones who were telling them everything? Lyric – no, you just got to be careful who you tell stuff too. Jason – I am not talking to anybody. Lyric – you can talk to me. Jason – I know. Lyric – I love you. Don’t feel like you’re isolated. Everyone’s cool with you. Jason – I know, I know. I just don’t even want to go on the block. I want them to be like f**k, you know? Lyric – but also you weren’t the one who started that conversation, you were just defending yourself.
Jason “You just threw me the f**k under the bus.” Kamu “No, but here’s why, Jason.” Jason “Tell me, why Bapa?”
Backyard Hamock – Angela and Kamu
Kamu – the whole plan has been to save Lyric and then put him up. Angela – right. Kamu – so Lyric winning was best case scenario. I wanted Lyric to win over me. Angela – wow. Kamu – because if I won, its like oh Kamu just won another comp. Angela – yeah you don’t want to look like that. Kamu – I don’t want to look like a comp beast. And I think people already look at me as a physical threat so it just confirms their perceptions.
Kamu – I’m not going to not put him up because he may have the power. Angela – Yeah, you can’t play scared of that. Kamu – The possibility of him having the power is not going to keep us hostage. It’s not like we’re not going to be held hostage by the thought that he may have a power. If he has the power, we’re going to force him to play. And if he doesn’t have a power, then hopefully we send him home. And hopefully, and hopefully Mallory wins. Like, this is a big brother, let’s get it out in the open and see what happens.
Drew “The real question is when do Lyric & Kamu get together? Yash “Kamu & Chuk will have to fight it out, bro.”
3 – 3:30pm Backyard – Haley, Yash and Drew.
Yash – just because he’s causing a ruckus. It’s one or the other. Drew – It’s like Jason’s on the block. I want him gone. Haley – absolutely. Drew – And if like Mallory’s just like Mallory. Yash – I’m cool with that too. Like I think Mallory’s cool. Haley – And I think again, because from the boys perspective, we can’t just keep going after all the girls because then it’s going to come down to the girls that potentially a lot of people like. Like I think Melody cool is f**k. Everyone loves Angela. I think I’m not bad, Dee’s cool. Its not going to be an all guys thing. Because the other word was oh he put the oldest bitch on the on the block. Then the two weak girls. Yash – someone said that?
Haley – Lala is running around saying the oldest b!tch on the block. Drew and Yash both say they haven’t heard her say that. Haley – No, I know, but we don’t know what the outside eye looks like either. Yash – Yep that’s true. Haley – so, it’s just like what? What? I don’t care who goes home. I think all three of them eventually will go home. But we just got to keep playing the game. Yash – I feel like right now it’s simple. Jason’s on the block.
“The BB Tea Party Massacre”
Big Brother 28 spoilers: Kamu has written a speech for Mallory’s tea party, and on Sunday afternoon he rehearses it line by line with Dee Valladares on the BB28 live feeds. The structure is deliberate — open warm, applaud Lyric for the Power of Veto win, applaud Jason De Puy for apologizing after last week’s blowup, then turn it with two words and read out every deal Jason has made in both directions. Dee directs the pause, telling him to hold five seconds and let the house look at each other; Kamu plans to take a sip of tea while they do. He confirms Mallory told him Jason promised her the veto, says he still hasn’t spoken to Lyric, and reveals that Drew Campbell and Yash know a house meeting is coming but not what’s in it. Dee spends most of the hour arguing him out of naming her, and wins — her fear is that if Jason never ran the same pitch past Rick Devens and Angela Murray, the leak traces straight back to her. Along the way Kamu compares airing out his own alliance to Eminem dissing himself at the end of 8 Mile, and the pair agree Mallory is the bigger threat if Jason wins the BB Blockbuster. Earlier, Devens tells Dee that Taylor has been mapping out a final five using M&Ms and wants him and Kamu in it, that Taylor thinks Angela and Dee run the house with Haley as their puppet, and that the other side wants Mallory kept and LaTrice voted out. Tea party is at five.

Big Brother 28 spoilers: Kamu’s Week 3 HOH turns into a war on Jason De Puy across three long Sunday morning conversations on the BB28 live feeds. Dee Valladares tells Kamu that Jason pitched her on keeping him as a competitor against Kamu, Chuk and Haley — and pitched Chuk on the identical deal aimed at Dee, Devens and Angela. Kamu reveals the pre-nomination deal that kept Jason off the block: if Jason got picked for the Power of Veto and won it, Kamu would decide how it was used. Jason then told all three nominees he’d use the veto on them, and it was LaTrice who drew Houseguest’s Choice and picked him. Kamu’s answer is a house meeting at Mallory’s tea party, thirty minutes in, once everyone’s dressed up. Dee signs off with “hell yeah, blow this house up.” Rick Devens signs off too, telling Kamu it’s how you get invited back on other shows, and adds that if Jason has a power they’ll flush it — while sitting on the Diamond Power of Veto himself. Dee, who got the full Diamond mechanics from Devens on Friday night, spends the morning listing Devens among the players she’s heard might have a power. Kamu also tells Dee he isn’t nearly as tight with Chuk and Haley as the house believes, and that he’s closer to her and Devens, before declaring loyalty to the Red Corner and a final five.

Big Brother 28 spoilers: Lyric’s Week 3 Power of Veto win leaves Kamu’s backdoor plan fully intact, and the BB28 live feeds spend the overnight hours watching Jason De Puy work out on his own that he’s the replacement nominee walking into it. In a long kitchen sit-down with Angela Murray, Jason lays out exactly why he’s scared — Kamu told him he wouldn’t nominate him, but never ruled out a renom — and concedes it isn’t technically a backdoor because the BB Blockbuster is in play. He pitches himself to Angela as the drag queen who takes out the big boys and says jury is his dream; she promises she’ll never lie to his face, and admits she survived 73 days her first time without ever really thriving. Out in the backyard, Drew Campbell and Melody Morris carve the Toolshed side into pairs, name Haley as the player they actually want gone, count the eviction vote to a 6–6 tie with Kamu holding the tiebreaker, and agree to keep Mallory and cut Lala loose — with Drew predicting flatly that Jason goes up Monday and his life lands on the Blockbuster again. Upstairs, Lyric raids Kamu’s HOH basket, Mallory’s Sunday tea party gets scheduled, and Drew and Melody talk until nearly 3:30 a.m. about journals, dead cars, dogs, Rome’s two-week love story, and one veto joke that dies on the table.

Lyric – you know I will do whatever it takes to protect you in this game. Chuk – Me and Yash feel really good about you. Good people are… Haley’s amazing too. Lyric – Yeah. Haley’s good too. How’s your relationship with her? Lyric – I had to talk with her today and it was good. Chuk – really? Lyric – Yeah. Chuk – Good, ok, she’s really good. Really a trustworthy person and so I’m like, if you have, she’s definitely someone in this game who would have your back. Lyric – Yeah. Chuk – she’s 100% someone who would have your back and that coming from me is huge. I don’t trust too many people here. Lyric – I trust you. Chuk – I trust you. Me and Yash trust you. We trust you and we feel good. Lyric – good.
LYRIC WON the Power Of Veto! “I say get rid of Lala. Get rid of the f**k sh*t. Ice Jason out.”

Lala congratulates Lyric on winning. Lyric – thank you. thank you. I love you. You know that I’ll do this game to protect, you know that I appreciate you, baby. Lyric – I do. I love you. It’s gonna be OK. I promise. I promise. Lala – I believe. Lyric leaves the room. Lala to herself – OK I gotta pull myself out of this, ’cause now I wanna go home why am I here? I just wanna go home and just be done.
I know there’s still the blockbuster. I know there’s all that.
Kamu “Jason said he’ll use the veto however I want or keep the noms the same.. if he doesn’t bro, he is declaring war.”
11am – Backyard – Kamu, Melody and Drew
Melody – Alright back to how we’re going to backdoor Drew. Kamu – yeah so basically Drew, I need you to win the veto so that we can backdoor Drew. Drew – ok, yeah so that works for me. Kamu – one thing that we haven’t talked about is that I think there is a good chance that Jason might have the power. And maybe he told Lala that he has the power which is why Lala was like because Lala knew what the plan was. I told her what the plan was and she ended up picking him anyways and maybe its because she is confident on what his power is. I could be wrong. Melody – no that makes sense. Kamu – but why would she go again like why would you be like Jason, right? When literally last night she was like yo somebody told Jason that we’re trying to backdoor him. It didn’t come from me. Drew – Lala thinks that if she picks Jason, he wins it and he like legally has to take her off.
“Jason wins this, maybe convince him to take Mallory off. Just toss things into chaos. That would be funny.”
Veto day, played off-site with the backyard wide open — and the house is wrong about the power: they’ve spent two days pinning the Time Capsule on Jason, and it’s Devens holding it after telling Kamu he doesn’t have it. Drew opened the morning reporting Jason’s whole flip pitch upstairs, admitted inventing reads to feed the other side, and got told “that’s perfect” — then spent 10 am in the backyard with Devens and Yash, the self-styled Dapper Dans, praying Jason wins the veto so a middle player goes home and their lines stay hidden. Jason’s in the field and knows the job: safety first, everything else after. If he wins, the backdoor dies and the renom comes out of Kamu’s own side. If he loses and lands on the block, the intel says there’s a blow-up waiting. Either way, somebody’s week detonates this afternoon.
