1pm The house guests are chatting in the backyard and napping while they wait for the veto competition to start. They think it’ll be the Zingbot comp.
Backyard – Keanu and Kelley
Keanu – We got to see if we can manufacture her (Morgan) leaving this week because she’s the biggest threat to us to be honest. She would for sure put us on the block next to each other. Feel like she would put Ashley. Well, at this point I think she would put Ashley or no, not Ashley. I think she would put me, you and Lauren. Now that Lauran’s basically taking a shot at her. Kelley – yeah, I agree. Keanu – If she doesn’t go home this week, we’re going to have to try and whatever the game is, the little elimination game. You have to try and get her out that way because. What the blockbusters? It’s going to be really difficult. The only way I could see her legitimately staying on the block is if Vince gets renomed and wins the blockbuster. Kelley comments that she could beat them in the blockbuster. Keanu – Most of them, yeah. You never know what it’s going to be. I mean, sh*t, we got so many now till the end of the year. Now we’re going to get that rope. They did an iteration of the of the ball one. So, you know, we’re probably going to get the rope one again. Kelley – Yeah, she might win the rope one. We’re going to get another puzzle one again, the line puzzle that Tucker went out that.
Kitchen – Ava and Will
Ava – are you ready to fight for that veto today Will? Will – Hell yeah! Ava – I know, I’m going balls to the wall. Will – lets get it.
1:35pm – 1:50pm HOH room – Ava and Lauren
They talk about what the veto competition might be. Lauren wonders if it might be BB comics or Zingbot. Lauren – if its BB comics remember to do the order first and then pick out the difference. Ava – Mmmhhmm.. Lauren – or it could be the spinning one. Ava – if me getting 750K relies on me spinning around and hitting some ball, I am going to kill somebody. If anyone but Morgan wins we will be fine. At the end of the day, I am just trying to figure out.. I don’t know .. what is meant to be will be. Ava – I know Lauren. Don’t panic about it. Hey, my name was picked for a reason. Laruen – I don’t necessarily want to make an enemy out of Keanu. Ava – no. Lauren – but if he leaves this week then.. Ava – just based on the way the tides are turning.. I would guess he’s going to put up Morgan. Ava – don’t be afraid to put up Keanu because frankly, Lauren, if he was the HOH in my opinion.. I don’t know but I could see him putting you up anyways. Lauren – yeah I don’t want to be slimy.

I respectfully disagree, Reggie. Although I do qualify as a fan, it’s not because of brainwashing or Stockholm syndrome. It’s because: (1)I’m an inveterate romantic & (2)I always root for the underdog, (unless they’re playing vs one of my favorite teams). I only watch BB for the real-life true-love stories. Rachel started out alone & targeted from the jump by the Britney bully gang. I started pulling for her because of the way she was being treated. In season24, I began rooting for Taylor for the very same reason. Personally, I actually don’t care that much for Rachel or Taylor as people. But, as a victim of bullies throughout my youth, I ALWAYS pull AGAINST the bully & FOR their victim. Hence, my support for both Rachel & Taylor. When Brendon came to Rachel’s rescue & they fell in love & got married, THEN & only then, did I become a fan of hers AS A COUPLE. Standing alone, Rachel has never been one of my faves(as my screen name shows). She’s not even close to my top ten. But, I’m a fan of love & I can’t stand bullies & hatred. I completely understand how polarizing & off-putting she truly is. I get the anti-Rachel animus. I really do. Especially when she goes over-the-top, as she often does. But, there has to be a line in the sand that no one should cross, even if they despise her. I draw the line at family. I know her hubby is a big boy & a public figure. Even still, some of the epithets hurled his way by her haters are so out-of-bounds as to be borderline criminal. They have attacked his manhood, his sexual ability, the size of his penis in such vile & disgusting ways that I cannot help but see red, due to my bully-victim PTSD. Her haters have gone so far as to attack her parents for NOT ABORTING her in her mother’s womb when they had the chance & thus save the world from ever having to deal with their first daughter. They attacked her sister SIMPLY FOR BEING RACHEL’S SISTER! And,worst of all, her haters have gone so far as to disgustingly and hatefully attack her innocent young children, calling them ugly, deformed, weird, brain-dead, mentally delinquent little monsters. My blood boils just thinking about it. So, to all those that took vehement offense at my overly defensive attitude toward the Rachel haters, I once again apologize to all those of you who are NOT Rachel haters. But, for any of you who are(and YOU know who you are), NO APOLOGY FOR YOU! If you body shamed her, YOU crossed the line. If you attacked any of her family, YOU crossed the line. I think you do not realize that Rachel herself is also a bully and hateful. Not to mention tries to label people as things they are not. How was Katherine a bully for asking Ashley why she was laughing and smiling during Riley losing his HOH? Why every time Keanu was simply replying calmly to Ashley’s clear bitter disrespect to him she responds “don’t talk to her like that.” Why because he is a male he is automatically the aggressive bully? Tired of this bs. Did we see Keanu get angry or mad at people for being nominated? Nope, took it on the chin and moved forward. If you like love stories etc, maybe bb isnt the right show for you. But let’s not make Rachel out to be miss congeniality. Rachel is the same person to pout like a child when she loses a competition. But then be the most arrogant rude winner when she becomes the reigning HOH. Just watch the old seasons, the proof is there. So while I am sure you believe she is a victim. In reality when you are a fan of someone you can easily become blinded by bias. Anyways I know this is a hard day for you now that she is out of the game. But you can still cheer for the next one in line (Ashley). Who is equally a fairly crappy person in that house.

My response will be equally direct.My perception of “bully” & “hateful” and yours do not coincide. As a victim of bullying in my youth, I perceive bullies to be those who use their physical size, height, weight & strength to terrorize those who do not possess similar stature, such as myself.
I was already 6’1″ b4 my 13th birthday, but I was skinny as a rail until my body filled out at around 16. I was the target of constant physical attacks, from kindergarten til high school. The only time I ever responded physically was when I was 15. To make up for my slender stature, I did everything I could to bulk up. I made the varsity track, wrestling, basketball & football teams my sophomore year(age 15).
My last regular bully was a coward(named Bug Jones),who loved to pick on those, like me, who were nowhere near his physical stature. He was the starting defensive end. I was his back-up, the 2nd string defensive end. Not only was Bug a horrible bully, he was also lazy. He took every other play off & loaded thru the rest. He never gave any effort. But, he was bigger & stronger than me, so he got the starting role. One day, the coach got tired of yelling at him to play harder & suddenly pointed at me & said: “Get in there for Jones, 60!” 60 was my jersey number. As I was putting on my helmet & jogging toward the field, Bug blindsided me with a southpaw haymaker to the jaw. I staggered, but somehow remained upright. Stunned at first, I just stood there. Bug dropped his helmet that he had been holding with his right hand & uncorked another haymaker, this one with his right hand(he was right-handed). This one knocked me down. As I was getting back on my feet, he connected with another right to my jaw. At first, I saw stars. I blinked & then I saw red. Then I blacked out. When I came to, the coach & his 4 assistant coaches were pulling me off of Bug. To this day, I have no memory of what happened between his third punch landing & me being pulled off of him. My jersey was completely soaked with blood. I thought it was mine. It wasn’t. If they hadn’t pulled me off of him, I might have killed him.
It was the only fistfight I was ever in. That was 58 years ago. But, I still remember vividly what it was like be bullied. By REAL bullies. When I use the term bully, I don’t mean someone who raises their decibel level or increases their word count to talk over someone. To me, that’s not a bully. That’s a loudmouth. Loudmouths never scared me. Bullies always did. I mean someone who uses their physical stature to intimidate, to threaten & to instill fear of an imminent beating.
Like my dad. He bullied & beat me regularly from age 3 to age 18, when I moved out. He terrorized me. And I was terrified of him. He had this thing he would always do, whenever he was displeased with me, which was most of the time. He never once yelled at me. He didn’t have to. He would just stare at me, silently. Then he would ball each of his massive hands into fists, like Keanu does when things don’t go his way. I knew what was next. If I didn’t immediately apologize, even if I didn’t know what I had done wrong, which was most of the time, I would get a terrible beating. They were all terrible. My dad didn’t play by the Marquis of Queensbury rules. He choked, he kicked, he bit, he stomped. He always wore steel-toed boots on the job(Highway Patrol Sergeant). His favorite move was to kick me as hard as he could with his steel-toed boot right to the groin. It’s a wonder that I was able to father children.
My point is that, to me, Rachel and Ashley are merely loudmouths full of bluster. Obnoxious, yes. Scary, no. Therefore not bullies. That’s my opinion. You, of course, are completely entitled to your own.

I appreciate you trying to help me out by suggesting that: “If you like love stories, etc., maybe BB isn’t the right show for you.” But, I have watched all the real-life matchmaking shows that have come down the pike the last 60 years(The Dating Game, Love Connection, Love Island & the many shows in The Bachelor franchise), to my utter chagrin. I landed on Big Brother in 2000 and have never been disappointed in it’s matchmaking success. BB has been more successful in bringing total strangers together in true & lasting love than all the others combined! A few examples should suffice: Grace&Mikey,Jordan&Jeff,Angela&Tyler,Haleigh&Fessy,Baileigh&SwaggyC,Dani&Dom,Claire&Derek,America&Cory,Jessica&Cody,Makensy&Matt,Nicole&Victor and, of course, listed last but certainly not least: Rachel&Brendon.
So thanks for tryin to help a brother out, rigged. But, BB’s amazing success rate makes it the only show for me.
I’ll keep watchin BB until I get evicted to that jury house up above!

Then if that is your criteria I can see why you would think Keanu is a bully and Rachel and Ashley are not. I would hope it would come more from actions than appearance. But naturally you are entitled to your own view. Just try to keep in mind neutral views may be more accurate. All the best.

i don’t think she’s boring, but she dulls the gameplay of those around her. i think she’s annoying and don’t really get why people act like she’s this great player when she’s notorious for having horrible reads on the house, has absolutely no poker face and subtlety with her moves, and largely just tries to bulldoze people into doing what she wants which only works against extremely weak players (which unfortunately is too often who her housemates are on seasons that include her, which at best makes her the lesser of two evils and at worst (more often) makes her a bully).

I completely agree with every point you make, except: “I’m done.” I watch every episode. Every season. No exceptions. Not even this season. Who knows. The ratings might drop precipitously after Rachel’s departure. Who knows? It’s possible. If they do, the producers might rethink their decision to dump her in the jury house for the last 3 weeks. They might even devise a battle-back from the jury house. They might even create a comp that favors her. She might even win that comp. She might even return to the house. She might even make it to finale night. She might even end as the last juror & finish 3rd. Who knows? Anything is possible. Don’t forget to expect the unexpected! So, I’m definitely not done now or in the future. I’m watching every episode until the show gets canceled or I get evicted to the great jury house in the sky!!!

rachel’s not nearly as bad as a serial killer, but i don’t think she brings positive energy to the house. thankfully she didn’t encourage the other houseguests to walk around the house banging pots and pans when she didn’t get her way, but what has she actually done to encourage people to be their best self? i really don’t see it. all i’ve ever got from her is pouting when she loses and bullying people to act in her own interest instead of what’s best for themselves. i actually like players like derrick or dan who can twist people into believing a tactic that actually benefits their own game is best for the person they’re manipulating, but rachel doesn’t really do this. she just throws a hissy fit and threatens consequences, which isn’t very fun because it just gets weak players to turtle and strong players to turn the house against rachel instead of making more intricate interesting moves. rachel is just an immature brat that brings down everyone around her.

After reading Brenson’s post I’m more inclined to believe she actually legitimately is in jury.
Not that I couldn’t see him playing along on a production scheme but his post takes shots at production so that fact makes it feel more believable.
My tinfoil hat hasn’t disappeared though as I can see a world where prod/Grod may have foreseen an Ava win & thought that would guarantee Rachel’s safety (note to production: Ava Pearl doesn’t take orders from anyone lol).
Brendan’s post also clears up confusion about the ‘yeah bitch’ comment being Ava bc prior to yesterday Kellie was the only hamster actively Rashel bashing. But he’s emphatic neither Kellie or Ava will be welcome in their life post BB.
Personally I enjoy Ava – she’s a character & shoots from the hip which is refreshing. She mentioned on feeds she doesn’t like to be touched & Rachel grabbed her to talk which didn’t go over well. Thinking back to the Riley eviction when Ava told Rachel to F off I think it also stemmed from Rachel being aggressive or touching her.

Everything I’ve seen and heard of him indicates that he is not a bad person. In season 12, he saw a woman being bullied & chivalrously came to her rescue. After that, I saw nothing in him other than a totally loyal, caring & protective soul, doing everything he could to aid the love of his life, just as I do for mine. All indications are that he is a good husband, a good father. & a good professor. He was obviously a good student, as his educational accomplishments clearly demonstrates.
. And, don’t forget, neither he nor any of us actually saw what happened between them. But, we did see Ava’s overreaction to Keanu’s reminding her to say her prompt. As much as I love Ava, and I do, I’m not going to immediately convict Rachel of assault & battery. Ava has stated several times how much she hates to be “touched”(her word, not mine). Maybe all Rachel did was “touch” Ava. None of us know for sure.
Finally, taking the love of your life’s side in a dispute that was not shown on camera does not seem to me to be the act of a bad person, IMHO.
I’m sure Kelley and Ava are heartbroken Brendon & Rachel won’t want them in their lives after the show LOL LOL LOL LOL !!!

I return each year, hoping for a Jordan&Jeff,a Makensy&Matt,a Dani&Dom,a Claire&Derek,a Jessica&Cody,an America&Cory,a Nicole&Victor,an Angela&Tyler,a Baileigh&Swaggy C,a Haleigh&Fessy,a Grace&Mikey,a Helen&Paul,a Sophie&Lee and, yes, a Rachel&Brendon! Amazing Race has couples for contestants, so there is no romance produced there. Survivor contestants have no privacy & live I brutal outdoor conditions, so it fails to condistently produce romance. But, even Survivor has it’s moments. You can probably already guess who my Survivor faves are. You guessed right! Of course, my Survivor faves are Amber&Rob. Soaps are obviously not for me because they’re fiction. I only respond to reality show true romance. And, as for Love Island & the Bachelorette, I’ve tried them & found them lacking. Their track records for actually producing lasting true love stories are abysmal. So are the Dating Game, Love Connection, the Bachelor franchise(all 5 or 6 variations). None of them close to the track record of Big Brother.
Just a few examples: Sophie&Lee,Grace&Mikey,Dani&Dom,Jordan&Jeff,Angela&Tyler,Haleigh&Fessy,Baileigh&SwaggyC,Nicole&Victor,Claire&Derek,America&Cory,Jessica&Cody,Makensy&Matt and, of course, Rachel&Brendon. There are many more, but that’s enough to make my point.
I watch BB for one thing & one thing only: real-life true-romance. I can’t find it anywhere else. Believe me, I’ve tried for 60 years to find a show as reliable & as successful at bringing total strangers together in real-life and producing true love.
I will continue to watch BB for the romance until the show is canceled or until I get evicted from this world to the great jury house in the sky, whichever comes first!

As Rachel wasn’t nominated with two others she didn’t have a veto and blockbuster comp chance to try and stay. Very disappointed with the twist that apparently sent her to jury. At least she played the game, which is more that I can say for the remaining (ugh) many nasty and cry baby floaters. In my opinion, the $750,000 will be a gift to someone who didn’t earn or deserve it. … A few times in the past we just stopped watching because the BB season was so bad. I think I keep coming back as I have the hope there will be a good season again someday.
i’m waiting to see it to pass judgment. i’m thrilled about the result as i hate when they mix returnees with new players, and as veteran players go rachel is among my least favorites. but i’m not sure it’s a game mechanic i’ll be thrilled about. the result is causing a lot of backlash so whether it’s good or bad is probably irrelevant as the backlash seems so strong it’s unlikely to be used again regardless of whether or not by some miracle it isn’t terrible.

the weird thing is lauren isn’t dumb, she’s just painfully indecisive. when she says her point of view it’s usually in the ballpark of what’s going on in the house (contrast with keanu or ashley for example). the issue is getting her to share that viewpoint in a way that benefits her game instead of waffling between saying things to help her game and staying silent not to hurt her game (usually opting for silence).
I think…idk…I think…OMG. “I think” BB really dropped the ball with casting Lauren. Her routine inability for anything close to complex thought is terrible TV regardless of how beautiful she presents on screen. She is a university graduate?? I’m sure she’s no dummy but she’s definitely not the person that she presents in the diary room.
lauren’s a great example of why you cast people from talent agencies rather than superfans. i know, i know, people always complain about how many recruits there are each season, but recruits from talent agencies are actually trained to be articulate on camera and decisive. lauren is beautiful, but good god is she horrible on camera and if she actually had some training on how to behave on camera, she’d be way less painful to watch.

BB is a game in which everyone lies. Nobody is 100% factual with what they say to the others, especially to the HOH. My suspicion, Lauren hears so many different lies, can’t differentiate fact from fiction. I’ll grant you that she hasn’t made all the right decisions, but she is playing the game. We don’t know if having Rachel in the house contributed to her decision making. But, since she’s won two (2) HOH comps, she’s either smarter or more athletic that people give her credit.. No. I was wondering between Lauren Vince and Morgan for veto. Ashley is not part of the current drama for target. She could be unintentional casualty… but may not be.
Ashley is still camtalking. Vince still has by and far the most d/r and no episode without a 0 d/r inclusion. Keanu is still in the top tier, and Kelley has been getting a leg up in d/r spotting, but so has Morgan. With another HOH i expect Lauren to get the second most d/r for the week, maybe 25 d/r that brings her closer to the rest of the cast.
Who takes the slide downward? Ava Pearl. She’ll have a small spike with post elimination because she led the chain. but i don’t see her getting more than say 12 d/r for the week. This will put her and Lauren still on the bottom but almost evenly on the bottom.
Overall, we have to consider the episode edit storyline. Who still has movement and who is lacking movement. Who can we look back to week one and say… oh, that’s how they got there, it makes sense.
There is a trojan horse and a clear winner case to be made right now. I said i wouldn’t give that away this year. But it’s right there in the episodes. What I won’t do is name them this year.

This show is just like when I was in school lunch cafeteria sitting down at the popular kids table late and once I sit down all the kids get up and leave me to eat alone. This would happen everyday until I gave up trying to sit with them. I would skip lunch and always find out the gossip afterwards. BB only gives insider information to the popular kids and me being an insomniac is left to try to figure things out.
It’s probably best that Rachel left before she could tarnish her reputation any further. Last week she screwed the pooch. She was playing a role instead of playing the game.

As far as Kelley goes, she only started watching what she was saying when she found out about the true extent of the live feeds. Had absolutely nothing to do with Rachel

Concerning Rachel, all the comments she was not given a fair shot are pure BS. This was the ultimate vote. Each player was given the choice of who they wanted to save. No one chose Rachel, so she was eliminated. How is that not the fairest vote? When the HG were left to decide their best move without Rachel manipulating them, they all chose anyone but Rachel. Rachel’s elimination was the fairest this season.
