The Big Brother 26 house was having electrical problems on veto morning. Cam said the microwave and other appliances had lost power, Makensy said the oven had been switching on and off, Chelsie reported no hot water downstairs, and Rubina noticed lights were out. Kimo wondered whether the problems would delay the day’s competition. They didn’t — the feeds went down at 11:10 a.m. for the Power of Veto.
9:25 a.m. Houseguests are up getting ready for the day.
Production has given them Krispy Kreme. Rubina thanks production for giving her a gluten-free option.
Cam says the microwave doesn’t work and the appliances have lost power.
Makensy: The power was going on and off on the oven last night. “The last time I saw was 7:09 a.m.”
Chelsie: “The hot water down here isn’t working.”
Makensy: “My shower was kinda cold too. I was like, why is it not getting hot?”
Kimo: “It wasn’t warm when I showered yesterday. It was lukewarm.”
Cam: “But the sink water was warm.”
Chit-chat about everybody’s “twist.” Apparently Angela has something they all know about, but she didn’t want it made public on the feeds. “She was very protective of it.”
They mention how Joe’s Diary Wall picture makes him look sinister. They figure that was production’s plan.
Chelsie says she had a “dream” that the competition would be BB Comics.
Makensy: “I had a dream the gods were speaking to me… and they were.”
She means production waking them up. Everyone laughs.
Rubina mentions that certain lights are out.
Kimo: “I wonder if this pushes back things… probably, huh?”
Makensy: “I would think, especially if they are having electrical problems outside.”
10:31 a.m. They talk about this season being seen as legendary. (LOL)
10:40 a.m. Zzzzzz.
11:10 a.m. Feeds pop to the pound. I guess things aren’t delayed.
1:43 p.m. Still blocked…
2:43 p.m. Nothing yet…
3:50 p.m. Still waiting for the feeds to return.
The electrical problems did not stop the competition. The feeds returned that afternoon with the result: Makensy won the BB Comics Power of Veto.

They came up with ship names of pairs on memory wall.
Ced / Chel: Celsie (would have said Cedsie) Kenney / T’kor: T’Ken (would have said sloth).
Rubina / Tucker: Tucina Leah Matt: Lat or Meah… they don’t like either… (I would have said how about Crazy Lyes?)
Joseph / Brooklyn: Jolyn or Brookseph.(looking at picture of Joseph and social media about Brook… how about Thrillerkiller) Cam / Mak: Camsie
Angela / Kimo: Angelimo (sounds like an infection) Lisa / Quinn: start with Linn, end with Quisa (Qweeza) which is more appropriate for the 2 of them together they say.
The starbucks MUST be kicking in for them.
CBS is so cheap with BB.
every season they assume their season is legendary. but really you need a dominant force who controlled the whole game. the frequent use of the power of veto should clue them in to the fact that wasn’t the case this season.
CBS/Paramount lost $6 Billion, because of low ratings, they need to get rid of Paramount streaming. They can’t pay the actors higher residual fees after the Sag/Aftra strike. Stop paying so much money to people like Hoba and others. Let Netflix, Tubi, Prime, and a few others deal with the movie streaming.
Streaming’s been a loser for just about everyone. Sony was smart not to launch their own service and just sell broadcast rights to other streamers
Hoba announced she’s leaving NBC early next year. Won’t make any difference to CBS.
Network ratings for the past week shows CBS in 5th, 2.1M audience, Paramount in 11th, .8M audience. In the top 10 programs, CBS has 2, Para 0.
This season of BB, depending on the day of the week, viewers are down from -10% (Sun) to -13% (Wed). Thursdays are up .2% There are still a lot of viewers, but…..
What’s Angela’s dark secret?
Likely that she was a Grodplant paid at a separate rate to be the drama…. y’know…. this seasons Cirie. She said to the house at one point 2-3 weeks ago “what if there was someone in the house that was here not to play the game but to be part of the story, and they were paid a different fee than the stipend like the rest of you.”
It was in HOH bedroom, either week 6 or week 7. If my memory serves it was week 7 after veto was played; the day Leah told Quinn that Prodo was pushing for her to use the veto.
I believe Angela was a plant for ratings. Everything about her was classic “Karen”. The look, the blow ups, the melt downs, the attacks on others, the paranoia.
