12pm Backyard – Drew and Devens
Drew – So we’ll see Taylor in like two hours maybe, her putting in request? Have you requested anything that like was abnormal? Devens – No. Only when I won my HOH, I was like hey can I get Red Bulls and like instead of Blue Moon can I get some non fruity IPA. Drew – Oh yeah. Devens – like that was literally my the only request I’ve made. Drew – mine was just like a instead of seltzers. Can’t get red wine. That was it. And I know Angela and Lala and Taylor probably have some ..just way left field requests like can we get lobster like? I’m sure it’s stuff. Devens – yeah, and Angela was just constantly going in there updating her HOH list. Drew – really? Devens – yeah. I don’t know. I thought that was like I’m not superstitious, but I’m a little stitches. I was like, I’m not good. I’m not going in there and updating my HOH list. Like there’s some sort of guarantee I’m gonna win HOH. Drew – I think Angela just had fun thinking about stuff. Devens – 100%. Drew – I can’t wait to see how she reflects on this season versus the other one. I’m sure its very positive. Devens – Its got to be very positive. Drew – Which is cool to be part of .. well I think you and Dee. I don’t know if I was part of it. Sounds like. Devens – Well maybe once she sees everything you’ll get a big apology. Drew – yeah maybe.
2pm Drew doing laps around the backyard.
2:20pm – 2:50pm Backyard – Drew and Taylor
Drew – How are you, big Thursday coming up. Taylor – Yeah, that’s all I can think about right now. Drew – yeah I can imagine. Taylor – Win or lose. Drew – yeah this is your moment. This is his moment too. Taylor – Yeah, I think we both. Its like you study but you don’t know what to study so you study everything. Drew – exactly. Taylor – and its overwhelming. And I am pretty sure he is just as good and up to date on stuff. Drew – oh its truly going to be a toss up. Like it could go either way. Fun ending though. Taylor – I guess. Drew – for like the people watching. Taylor – For sure. I think you’re good at the dates and stuff too. Drew – I would be alright. Taylor – I think he is good at the dates too. Drew – Yeah I think he is downplaying. He’s smart! Taylor – Yeah, he’s extremely smart. You can hear the little comments he made about certain things. And he’d be like, like, even when he came in, he was like, I don’t know big Brother. I don’t know Big Brother. And then he’ll make a comment about something like all right. Drew – yeah. Taylor – and then like the other day he randomly said yeah I only watched like 8 seasons… I thought you didn’t know Big Brother?! Drew – He definitely is the front runner right now. If he wins this last one, he wins. Taylor – Can’t even be mad. Drew – yeah. Taylor – You can’t even be mad. If I lose, I lost to a f**king king. Drew – you lost to the winner. Taylor – yeah like the f**k who can be mad at that. Drew – Exactly. Trying to think what his big moods were? Taylor – Rome and Kamu. Drew – yeah, Rome. For sure. Taylor – big move is not going on the block for like 7 weeks. That’s a big move not going on the block. Socially insulated were you not going on the block that long. Drew – straight up .. and then there’s us.. we’re like 5 or 6 times. Devens joins them and they talk about past events of the season.
3:28pm Quiet BB house…
4pm Backyard Couches – Taylor Drew and Devens
Taylor asks Devens what his kids might want to be for Halloween. Devens – I wouldn’t be surprised if Jack wants to be Arthur Morgan. He would want it for the accessories like the pistols .. get the rifle and stuff… Like a cowboy from a video game. Juju probably wants to be something funny or silly. But also she might go to Jack Root and decide like what’s a toy that I want to play with and I’ll get a costume that comes with that toy. A two for one. Or she might just want to be like an astronaut or a singer or something. Drew heads inside.
Devens and Taylor talk about Jury votes.
Devens – Now is the time to figure stuff out. Taylor – Yeah. Devens – but I was just cooking the books. Taylor – Yeah. Devens – I don’t know. I know you and Drew don’t want to lose to each other for sure. None of us wants to lose. Period. Taylor – Right. So that’ll be the reason why you wouldn’t take me. That’s the same reason why you wouldn’t take me. Devens – The reason really, the reason why I would take him over you would be just ’cause that was.. Taylor – loyalty. Devens – What I told him to I would do if he took me to the final three. Taylor – Yeah. Devens – I think my route against both of you is kind of treacherous for those same reasons. It’s just like you’ve definitely got Yash and Lala. He’s definitely, got Yash and Lala. He’s definitely got Melody and Barrett. And then it’s like we’re fighting over the other people. Taylor – uh-huh. Devens – so it’s like, I don’t know if I could get a Yash and Lala over Drew, but I know I can’t get him over you. I don’t know if I could get a I don’t, I definitely don’t think I could get Melody over you. Like maybe I could get a Barrett. But probably not. It’s just weird and it’s hard to tell where any of their, you know, we
haven’t seen them since they’ve been in jury talking to each other. We don’t know where their heads are at but I do think I’d probably have a better shot against Drew, but I may not get a shot against Drew, but I may not get a shot against Drew. You know what I mean? Yeah. Like I got a win to do that. Taylor – Yeah. but there’s a lot of week left. Taylor – Yeah.
6:40pm Quite house..
6:45pm Backyard – Drew and Devens
Drew – Did you start your pitch yet? Devens – You know I did. She told you. Drew – Yeah, I was like come on now. Did it work? Devens – Time will tell. Ain’t no secret. I mean I told you I was gonna. Drew – No, I know. You would be dumb not to. Devens – yeah. Its really good. Drew – Can I hear it? Devens – I mean I think she will tell you. Drew – Probably. Can I guess? Devens – Yes, sir. Drew – What would I say if I was you. I’m assuming you would be like, if you say yes, I’ll take you. Devens – If I say what? Drew – If you take me, I’ll take you. Devens – oh no, I didn’t sell you out like that. Drew – you didn’t? Devens – no. Drew – you like me? Devens – And you can check that with her. Drew – its got to be people don’t like me in the jury? Devens – Me? Drew – Like I screwed over Yash. I screwed over Barrett. Devens – I didn’t even get into specifics but those are true. Drew – Melody doesn’t want to vote for you. I am just curious. Devens – I know. Drew – DUDE! Drew is 22 years old. He doesn’t need money. He still lives with his parents. I have kids. Devens – I don’t know if still lives with your parents would be a good one for that audience. Drew – Yeah maybe don’t use that one.
7:40pm Backyard – Drew is walking back and forth across the yard. Meanwhile Taylor is cooking..

there’s definitely a part of me rooting for taylor because episode 1 she and latrice were the only newbies i didn’t think were a total moron. so there’ll definitely be some vindication. honestly so long as drew soesn’t win my preseason assessment is pretty strong. i went 3/4 for final 4.
If two of those three were Dee and Devens, way to go out on a limb there my friend. 😉
The only thing that continues to frustrate me with BB casting is they seem to refuse to pick people who actually watch the show. People claim to be super fans, which means they’ve watched one season at home and binge watched another one in sequester. Even the so-called “Icons” don’t know how the game is played past the rudimentary someone wins HOH, nominates 2 people for eviction, and then somebody gets voted out every week.
Taylor at least seemed to know the game, but she limited herself to a very short list of people she seemed willing to play it with. Yes, part of that was due to the Icon twist, and the development of their own alliances early on in the game, but she really didn’t seem to try very hard to do much about it, except to cozy up with Lala and lay low.
I do like Taylor, as her personality doesn’t grate on me the way Ashley’s and Taylor H.’s did (the two most recent do nothing winners), so given she’s up against a rat play specialist, which I do not like (the play, not the player) and a guy who was gifted so much power and protection from day one, I really wouldn’t mind if she won the whole shebang.
I feel almost like Dr. Will in his Veto speech, when he said “I hate you all”, although I don’t hate them. I just don’t really care who wins because of the way the season has played out. No, I’m not saying I’m done watching either. I just hope they never do this whole “Icon” thing ever again.
I saw a clip of Glitter Lisa’s goodbye messages. What a vile season and awful winner. Angela being childishly vengeful. Its was maybe less than half the messages but thats all it takes to poison a season. Its the reason this season brightened up after Red Corner left. Of course Chelsie was nice in her message but she also mocked Lisa in DR for being so upset on that house incident. Classic bible thumping phony.
This season was much easier to watch even though by later in jury my hand was blocking my eyes’ view of the screen whenever the Survivors were in DR or jumping around thinking they were whimsically evil.

I’ve been fighting with interest. lol. Just about everything else became more of a priority than this season a while back but i’d overcomment in bursts to try to ignite my own interest. Part of me thinks I’ve been faking it since…
I think a big part of me has been saying ho hum since the last week of the time capsule and then when that convo between Drew and Barrett where B silently mouthed yes and nodded when asked by Drew if he too thought it was rigged….
Look. I’m not naive. I get that reality entertainment programming is not reality and just because it’s in format of a gameshow, doesn’t make it a gameshow and doesn’t mean it has to follow gameshow rules. I GET that. All i’ve ever asked is don’t make it TOO obvious and don’t make it TOO visible. So the cynic in me said what’s the fricken point?

I’m still making the attempt. half fake ass attempt. But lets glass half full it and say half real ass attempt.
Juror knowledge: who did they SAY they were in the house vs who did they promote themselves to be in jury segments.
LaTrice: the ‘this is our season not theirs’ about stuntcasts later extolled the virtues of Dee’s game… and in jury has not been pushing Taylor’s game that we have been seeing.
Angela: whatever is the most bitter and ignorant opinion or vote she can cast… that will be her choice. She’ll vote Devens priority one. She jumped from that final 2 with Drew week one to Drew is the new Quinn with a quickness. Her incredulity that Barrett could turn on the alliance on the week Angela and Dee planned to turn on the alliance but got beat to the punch…. is pure Angela. Don’t own your shit, cow…. instead point and laugh and have a cow when anyone points out the bullshit.
Barrett: early game said Devens was his closest ally over Dee. Planned to take Drew to finals for the easy win. Wanted the Survivors out post Mosh Pit betrayal. Called Taylor’s game interesting… but did not say he’d be a vote for her.
Yash: he said about 20 times in the feeds that they had to protect the guy numbers. He made an all male alliance. He said twice early days get all the women out so the real competitors can play the game. He named Dee Devens and Taylor as his preferences. He said he could vote for Drew based on comps and outlasting. He and Angela are the most likely to vote based on comp record given their statements repeatedly in house. Again, Angela gonna light the pipe in cracktown with her every point of view vs her own game.
Melody: part of the get the stunts out contingent. Said she wanted a female winner. Said she wanted Drew to win when she was evicted but said there were parts of Drew’s game she hated post eviction interviews.
Dee: votes Devens over anyone else. In Taylor v Drew we would see whether or not she’s full of shit in her cam talks because she said she’d vote for each of them depending on who was saying they would do what for her in the moment. If she votes against a Survivor alum…. kay the Survivor alum are not the bb alum. She’d be ostracized for voting against Devens. Soorrry. it’s a thing.
What do we learn from this? Most jurors have been so fluid in their opinions that they are ripe for Grod whisperers to swoop in and get them to do whatever Grod desires.
We just have to know what that is.
Storyline wise (what the episode edit inclusion would lead us to believe):
Taylor didn’t exist in multiple episodes in screen time or d/r pre-jury. This means initially as an alternate they hadn’t come up with a way to integrate her. This likely spelled pre-jury eviction. She pretty much did not exist weeks 2, 3 and 6. Remember when she said she controlled La Trice’s HOH… according to d/r Kamu controlled it. So what saved her???? How did she get so much further than the edit read she SHOULD get? PR a la HR? She wasn’t silent about the house therapist being an ass… and wasn’t silent multiple times about the house ism issue. Did fear of it being another one of THOSE seasons actually cause red pages? I wonder because I still think there were red pages involved. NO WAY do they plan a 3 day outage AND have 2 two hour episodes… for Haley. Especially when they called off the feed lock after less than 2 days. I smelled rewrite and need to correct to get them back in place. Did Grod Blink in a game of PR chicken? And does that have anything to do with what i felt was a rewrite and course correct?? That’s when Taylor became more of a storyline character and less of a crowdscene face.
Tangent:
The fact we heard Melody complain about being about to win a veto when they called off the comp and reshot 2 hours later… that’s… we haven’t heard about something that blatant since the season 20 Bayleigh HOH win where someone else won, and production yelled that was a practice now we do the real thing after the comp. Thank you to the prodo worker that leaked that to the twitterverse years ago, btw. And yeah… That Melody complaining about the issue to me means the issue was part of the course correct imo. It happened the day feeds returned early from the feed block.
End Tangent
Drew… the edit on Drew is so all over the place flippety flop when you actually just look at the Drew storyline. REMEMBER. THE FIRST TIME THE CROSSOVERS DEAD sign came up with the faces Grayed was not Barrett’s HOH. It was during Drew’s SECOND nomination by an ally. It was when Drew said he was done with the Icons, and there was a segment about Drew convincing Barrett to flip. THEN… he’s even MORE devoted to them the next episode without explanation. In terms of following the EDIT THIS IS A HUGE PLOTHOLE. It’s no better from the point of view of a feed watcher. We got no explanation. Just Drew leaves D/R aaaand… he is back up the survivor’s asses. IT NEVER MADE SENSE given what WE SAW on feeds. Weeks later and it’s like they are telling us to ignore one of their own episodes because they never bothered to explain.
This in terms of distrust of prodo makes me ask… what was he offered to be the survivors gatekeeper?????
Devens in the episode edit? We went from the lie that he and Dee weren’t real world friends and that she could target him…. to him ‘saying’ he was throwing an HOH he obviously was not throwing if you watch the board in his final week 2 HOH shot. How many lower numbers were there on that path to get to the number that beat Haley? Throwing my ass. So he consolidates the stuntcasts’ power and gets the diamond veto. As the big alliance breaks.. it’s Dee’s preferred alliance that is cut out of the picture not Devens. Wait. it WAS… that should have been a big neon sign to us. I missed that. Shit… That never occurred to me in terms of defining WHICH was the Grod’s special stuntcast and who is jut a stuntcast debate in my head. THE ALLIANCE DEVENS organized with primary loyalty to HIM outlasted the alliance DEE preferred that SHE organized. Have we actually been sitting on the knowledge since week SIX??????????? damn. I missed it.
